I have been to this urgent care more then 5 times and I have nothing but nice things to say about it. They see your problem they solve it and you are in and out in less then 30 min. The doctors there know what there doing and I trust them completely.
They were able to get me in quickly and efficiently despite my lack of online ability. Brandi is an exceptional person,so I was happy to see her.Everyone was kind and thorough, and I had my test results in 20 minutes.You guys are great !

Had to take a COVID test and this was the only place that had an opening for the next 4 days. It was a bit of a haul for me but totally worth it. Was bs k in a room within 10 minutes, the staff was very friendly and professional and very caring. Would definitely recommend.
I would have never know about this place if I hadn’t needed tested for Covid.I am absolutely pleased with the care and concern from the staff about my treatment, they are amazing!In the future if I need medical attention this will be my first choice of places to seek help ☺️

I needed to schedule an appointment for my 89-year-old mother. Navigating the website was fairly easy. The staff was very professional and caring in their handling of my mom. They put her at ease and made the visit as pleasant as possible.
Everyone there were super nice and one of the nurses gave me something for nausea which I greatly appreciated. Got tested and results in like 30 mins, highly recommended :)
Despite no cars in the parking lot, or patients in the waiting room at 7:30pm on a Wednesday, the doors were locked. This was paired with a sign stating higher than normal patient volumes and forcing you to a website to schedule an appointment to see a Dr at an EMPTY urgent care. Of course their appointments were booked full for 3 straight days which entirely defeats the point of an urgent care. Also, despite front office staff being in eye shot of the door, they were apparently too busy not helping patients to answer their phone. Im very thankful for other urgent care locations in Newark that have the decency to actually assist people as this location clearly isnt interested in helping anyone in need of unplanned medical attention.
DO NOT GO HERE! The nurse practitioner my little one saw was so aggressive. Extremely rude. Talked down to me. I just wanted help for my little boy so I took the verbal abusive from this ‘professional’. I’m grateful I have other options to help my family. Be careful if you choose to go there.
The whole staff was very welcoming, kind and communicative with me from the beginning. The doctor/nurses actually checked out my concerns and gave me the help I needed, instead of just asking questions and sending me on my way with an explanation like other places. I can say that from my experience they care about their patients and health. Definitely will continue coming to this facility.
Whenever weve been to the Newark Valley Urgent Care they always take great care of us. From wrist sprain, finger contusion, sports physicals, COVID tests etc, we always receive top notch care. Today Emily made the check in process quick & easy. The nurse was very friendly & the N.P. Theresa did a great job with my daughter. I appreciate the care they give. Highly recommended!
Went here for a covid test (scheduled online) and both nurses along with the doctor who performed the test were abornamally nice. It was very fast inside, 5 minutes max. And they were very polite, calm, and fun. It made the process overall very smooth and Id definitely recommend this facility!
Theyre always quick, listen great. Respectful. And if you are very sick they are sure to tell you to get a follow up with your GP.

Covid or not, I don’t understand the point of an urgent care if you have to make an appointment. And to be turned away for not having one? Doesn’t make sense at the end of the day.Edit to add: They also don’t pick up the phone. Great customer service, really.
Wonderful in and out appointment for covid testing. Again I scheduled an appointment, which allowed me to be the only one in there and out just ask quickly. Results came back, I received phone call from parking lot, I was able to get meds called in and the proper paperwork in minutes.I highly recommend using Newark Valley Urgent Care by appointment.
I came in with 3 of my kids and all 4 of us was getting tested for covid. The entire staff is amazing. They eased the kiddos minds and reassured them that everything was okay. Anytime the kids get sick they always ask if they can go to the nice Doctor ( referring to this urgent care ) Thank you to all the staff, you guys are doing an amazing job!!
Dr. David Sestak and the nurse were absolutely wonderful and caring. I had a laceration that required stitches and I received the best outstanding care. Everyone was so nice and I was very impressed with their kindness. I highly recommend this urgent care!!! The check-in online was simple and they were ready to see me as soon as I arrived. This urgent care is top notch!
Stopped in for an employment physical. The staff I met were SO nice, the doctor was equally nice, they made me feel so welcome and special everyone was happy and smiling. Sure makes a difference!

My experience today was wonderful! I was misdiagnosed about a month ago at a different location and felt very rushed and uncomfortable there. At this location everyone from reception to the male doctors assistant who helped me were amazing! Very kind and made me feel heard.
Great experience. After they determined how long I’d had my symptoms, they decided that the rapid test would work well. It was quick and easy and they called be at home 40 minutes later to see if I had any questions and to help me determine how long I had to quarantine. The nurse on the phone also told me what to watch for and how to treat my symptoms. Everything was efficient and great. Well done!
I went to Newark Valley Urgent Care for a rapid Covid test. I was able to schedule a same day appointment online, as well as fill out all of my paperwork & insurance info online. Once I arrived, I stayed in the car and answered questions over the phone. Then I went in for a quick swab and was out of there within minutes. I received my results within 30min. It was a perfect set up and I highly recommend if you need testing. The nurse on staff was wonderful too!
Loved being able to complete paperwork online. The doctor and nurse listened, and didn’t just look at me for Covid but other reasons as to why I was sick as I was testing negative.
What a positive place to go when you are in need of medical care. The staff are attentive, prompt, caring, personable, and the physician is AMAZING! Weve visited many times, most recently this week. While I dont love waiting in the car, its reasonable and consistent with pretty much all medical practitioners. My son was diagnosed and treated quickly, and we were satisfied with our experience given all the factors this urgent care is dealing with. The staff has always been friendly, compassionate and concerned when weve visited! Will be back as needed. Were thankful to have this great option when we cant get in to see our regular doctor!
I made a last minute appointment through Solv to get a quick COVID test, as every pharmacy in the area was booked. I was able to get in within 15 minutes, staff were kind and professional and swift in getting me tested and on my way.Thank you Newark Valley Urgent Care!

Mt appt today I wasn’t happy with the nurse that assisted me today. Very rude, opinionated, which wasn’t necessary. Didn’t take my temperature either. I guess she was to concerned about why I didn’t go see my family doctor. However, the NP was excellent.
Front desk was super friendly, busy the whole time. It says urgent care but people had set apts. So it was more like a Dr. than a urgent care type.
The nurse practitioner that we had today when my son came in with cough and congestion they tested him for covid waiting on results. She was very kind and caring and reassured my son that we would both be okay. Thank you for making us not feel rushed and that you truly cared.

I cant even express how wonderful the people at this facilty are.I went to this facilty with an injury to my finger. They treated me and my wife with respect and professionalism. They were caring and were concerned with my comfort. Al, Alyssa andDr. Sestak are awesome. Rarely do you find professionalism and caring on this level. Excellent care and staff and...for those that dont know, this is an Urgent Care that is VA eligible!So, I had a small mishap at home and needed to visit the Urgent Care. I did the online registration and check in and immediately received notification back.The staff was amazing, starting with Brandy at check in, who patiently validated my VA eligibility (The VA can be a tough one to navigate), to the care that nurses Cheri and Emily provided me, along with the advice and care of Dr. Amy, I was taken care of quickly and efficiently!I think I was in and out, all wrapped up and ready to go, in under 30 minutes!Thank you all for the excellent care!
My husband and I were very pleased with the ease of booking an appointment on line for himself, checking in upon arrival, getting to a room quickly and being seen by the NP. All staff was friendly and courteous. We were in and out in 30 minutes. 😊
My wife came in today as she has been having serious stomach issues for a week. Upon arrival, they didnt even check her temp. (She has had a fever) They proceeded to belittle her and ask, did you eat a bad sandwich? Again, no testing, no in depth questioning about her symptoms. They did ask her, what do you think it is? and what are we here to accomplish today? Idk know, you are the doctor, right? They then said, it was something gastrointestinal. Their website says they specifically treat this, but they sent her on her way to get blood drawn at the ER. Again, with zero applications. As she was leaving they said, that was the weirdest encounter they have ever had. Why bc we questioned your aptitude. Big waste of time. The most unprofessional let alone malpracticed visits she has ever had. These people acted like they had something better to do. Dont go here! This place is also the place that told me my COVID test last year would be $150. I paid cash, then got an additional bill for $200 more. Again, do not go here!
My daughter had a Covid exposure. We made an appointment to get her tested. We were in and out in 10 minutes and had results in 30 minutes. Negative! Whew! Everyone was very nice and professional.
I brought my daughter here after hours because she wasn’t feeling well. The staff was so friendly and wonderful, they immediately put her at ease. Thank you all!!! Highly recommend!
I received a false positive rapid COVID test at this location and when I requested them to re-take because I was 80% it was wrong because I test once a week, the nurse said it was like a pregnancy test, rarely a false positive and didnt re-take. She also told me in the waiting in front of my son and he starting crying immediately, scared I was going to die.I immediately went to two different locations and took rapid tests and they were both negative and the next day took a PCR and it was negative. This was only a pre-op test, I wasnt sick, it almost stopped my surgery. The re-take at my request wouldve met my standards for a satisfied patient.

Sherry, Terry and Brandy and the young lady that cleaned my knee were so very kind and helped calm me down after I broke my kneecap last night. I called knowing the facility closed in a half hour of my calling. They helped me through the process and were genuine. For an ER visit it was surprisingly fast .
Wonderful experience!! The front desk worker, nurse and doctor on staff were professional, kind and punctual. I will return next time Im in need of medical care.
Receptionist wasn’t wearing a mask correctly which is concerning since it’s a place of medical practice. They need to go back to the original way of covid testing where they keep you in the parking lot. I was unbelievably uncomfortable being in the waiting room with people who are coughing and sneezing who are waiting to be tested. My experience was fine and I’ll probably end up going back in urgent situations, I just wish they would take more precautions. The actual medical staff was 5/5 though.

A++ Care & Service. 20-min process for COVID-19 rapid test results. I asked the front office if they could squeeze me in a day early so I could make my flight on schedule. They were most accommodating & super friendly. Highly Recommended!!!
Was waited on very quickly, staff very helpful except the male nurse was making jokes about a chip in his covid vaccine and President Biden and i didn’t care for that, politics or trumpism is not acceptable during a medical visit. other than tha5 all was fine labs were quick and gave me scripts for the nearby cvs. very clean as well.accepted my medicare advantage plan. i will return!
I easily made an appt for 9:15. I arrived early and was in and out before 9:15! My nurse, Sherry, was great as was the Dr!
They ran a little late calling me in, but everything else was quick and effective.

Easy access for COVID rapid test required for work. Did online paperwork, texted when I arrived. They called with a few more questions then came out to my car. Quick swab, fast results. Very good experience.
I was sent here by my employer for a rapid Covid test, though I suspected I had strep throat. They were able to fit me in, and made sure I understood that I would have to cover the copay if I wanted a strep test. Results were back even faster than I expected and they brought me a printout to show work that I tested negative. Everyone there was so nice and helpful! I only saw the entry ways so I cant speak to the interior, but they seem to have a solid Covid routine that was put together this year so I expect the rest of their services are even better!

Nurse Practitioner Debbie was the most amazing and caring person I feel fortunate to have crossed paths with. She couldn’t be more understanding and wonderful. Words can’t express the comfort and care she provided for both myself and my family. She was so helpful and empathetic and I am very grateful for her.

I must’ve showed up at a lucky time because there were no other patients in the waiting room (3pm) and they got me right in. Highly recommend Newark Valley if you need to visit an urgent care.

I needed to take a covid rapid test and I searched online for someplace who provides that and I found Newark Valley Urgent Care. I was able to book an appointment online for the next day. The entire process was easy and mostly done online. I had my results in about 30 minutes. Everyone was very nice!! I definitely recommend Newark Valley Urgent Care.

This is the best urgent care I have been to. Everyone was friendly and efficient. I was at the office for about 1.5 hours, but only in the waiting room for about 15 minutes including my new patient paperwork (I did go exactly when then opened at 9AM). In that time I did a breathing treatment, x-ray, and spoke with the doc several times. Would recommend!

Ive been going here since I was in like, 2nd grade (24 now) and never have i had a bad experience. The staff is ALWAYS extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. They are also very timely, even when theyre busy. I wish I could give 10/5 stars!

I have visited this urgent care previously and felt that I received good care and was treated well. However, this time I decided to try their telemed system and because of a flaw with their system, I was directed to drive 40 minutes to the center instead of having a virtual visit at home. I then had to sit in the parking lot for 45 minutes, in 80° heat, before I was finally diagnosed. I then left without being provided any discharge instructions.Because the IHA CEO reached out to me and promised to make changes to be sure that this same treatment does not happen to another patient, I believe this center deserves two stars instead of one. Perhaps one day they will return to the five star institution they once were.
Was a good andquick experience once I actually got into the office. In order to get in you must register online and there is people ahead of you not even present at the office parking lot which to me is just a touch ridiculous as there should be a doctor solely for remote sessions rather than doing vovid tests, remote visits, and in-person.
We have gone here for years. The doctors doctors were the friendliest and now they are less personable. They are quick to diagnose thankfully. Hopeful this rotation of doctors will change soon. They used to be a 5 star it appeared today they were more focused on socializing.
While in the middle of this Covid mess, I went to be tested myself. Staff were professional and friendly in spite of the stress all health care workers are facing right now. Im thankful for their commitment to serve the community, even as they face greater exposure to this virus.
Wonderful experience!!! My daughter (5yrs old) had an ear infection and was scared to death about going to a new doctor. We got back in the room and the Doctor came in, he was so VERY nice and comforted her. He was so sweet and made her feel totally at ease and she even gave him a 👍🏻 when he was walking out the door. We were eating dinner that evening and she said I was really brave at the ear hospital and the Doctor was very nice!

I was having a hard time getting my phone to work with the online check on. So I went up and asked the lady at the front desk. She said that I had to do it my self. So I walked away and she followed me and yelled out saying I could go somewhere else. I told her thats what Im doing anyways! So rude! I dont feel good and if you are working there you need to be a little nicer.

I brought my son into the Urgent Care yesterday,after a fall off of the swings at school, with a wrist injury. I couldnt have been more pleased with how the visit went. Everyone was very nice, and knowledgeable. The best was that we were in and out, in less than hour.

Throughout this pandemic, I have relied on Newark Valley Urgent care for all of my families testing. They have the system down and it’s quick and easy!! The employees are awesome too!
Online check in doesnt work & i wasnt the only one having trouble with it so you do have to go in to check in. The staff was nice & pompt. Didnt have to wait long for my covid test, was done in like 15mins. They called me shortly after I got home with the results. Would go again & did recommend to my daughter who also went.

We didnt have a PCP so a friend referred us to Newark Valley Urgent Care. After review of our issue, they knew we needed further testing than they could offer. We appreciate their honesty and courtesy to refund our copay. This is a place we feel we can trust should any further issues arise.
I work for a company where I provide direct care for individuals with developmental disabilities. One of my individuals was very sick so we made a trip to this urgent care. I can honestly say that this was by far the best experience I have ever had in a doctors office setting. The nurses, techs, and Dr Dave, were all so caring and understanding. Two of our daughters were at an event locally of which one youth has now tested positive for COVID-19. I called this Urgent Care 5 different times this morning asking questions and was told there was now waiting a. They could be tested right away. We went there and after jumping through hoops to get one daughter in their online waiting in our care i was trying to complete the second daughters online request when the receptionist Calle me in my cell to tell me they do not take our insurance!!!!This is something that should have been discussed when I spoke with her at home before spending over all the time completing their requirements which also should have been explained to me on my first call!Our in insurance company says they pay for this test both in network and out of network!!What the heck is going on, this is a freaking pandemic you idiots!

I have been sick for several weeks now dealing with some type of viral URI. My family Dr. had treated me but I continued have other issues and a very severe sore throat. My family Doc was out of town so I visited your facility. I was treated by Caroline Koperski the PA. I was very happy with the care she provided and I actually felt much better the very next day. I will use your facility again in the future if I need too. Thank you.

Very nice and caring and made sure they took every precautions when prescribing me my medicine when they needed to and making sure to ask me about the medicines because I have so many allergies that I wasnt allergic to what they needed me to take
I had the worst visit ever. First some of the staff members were very rude. Second they dignosed me wrong and said I have the common cold when my ears were hurting really bad they blew it off and said it was wrong. I went to another doctor and they said that I had severe ear infections in both my ears. I am very disappointed I thought Urgent Care is supposed to help people, use there knowledge and not diagnose someone wrong even after you tell them whats going on and then they got snoddy and ignored me when I told them the symptoms I had. At the end they said Ya right you dont have a ear infection which is very rude.
Ease and convenience of scheduling the appointment was a plus; staff and doctor were friendly, helpful, and were truly concerned about me.
I have gone there couple times it seems so more convenient and quicker for someone that has very little time to spare very friendly staffing and has always taken good care of me and my son .💯
The staff is always kind, knowledgeable, and explain whatever I do not know. Ive been a patient for over 10 years and always prefer them for medical issues over the hospital system.

This was my second time at Newark Valley Urgent Care. Both times were for a Covid test. Both times I made an appointment and both times I was met with prompt care and attention. Got my test result by the time I got home. Cant ask for more than that.

On their website says they close at 9, now because of COVID they close at 6. Don’t let you inside to check in and are the most rude staff you’ll ever encounter. Despite having an asthma attack I was made to wear a mask and was then mocked when I said I’m having an asthma attack I can’t wear this by a disgusting fat woman.
Got me in safely and quickly, wrapped up my elbow and thought I might have a torn bicep but could not tell withought an MRI, recommended an Ortho and I was done! 20 min at the most!
They were so kind. They made the process as quick and easy as possible when we really needed to be seen. I would recommend them to anyone who needs an urgent test.

My wife was in horrible pain from her wisdom tooth and was treated like a junkie by the receptionist. The lady said we dont give out pain killers here. Lady if you dont like the low paying job working behind a desk trying to help people then get a new one. My wife has her tooth sceduled to be removed next week and had to go to the hospital to get something for the pain. This urgent care needs to do some training on how to treat people!
Easy to make an appointment. Upload all insurance info ahead of time. Show up and check in is done online. Could not ask for it to be any easier.

2021-10-21First the online check in system is so quick, easy to use and efficient. I was in the building and out in ten minutes. It was very easy to schedule an appointment online and they had a lot of openings which has been hard to find in other urgent cares with COVID 19. Highly recommended.

2022-02-09When I got out of bed early in the morning, I knew in needed to see a doctor right away. But not an emergency. Just urgent. Couldn’t get into my own doctor on such a short notice. They scheduled me that morning and I was in and out in 15 minutes. Picked up my scripts and off to work! 😊 thank you.

2022-03-13Took my daughter in this morning thinking she had an ear infection. She has never like doctor offices just like her dad. It was nice to see all the staff come around her and make her feel comfortable. You don’t see that anymore. Highly recommended and all the staff thank you!
