National Car Rental in other cities:
The Toyota Highlander was so comfortable I canceled my flight back home and drove the 7 hour trip instead. I returned the car to Newark Airport and the exceptionally nice representative - Inisa - helped me out and really topped off the trip nicely. With people like Inisa on your staff, I will definitely rent again from National.
Helpful staff, clean vehicles. Simple process to get you off the lot and on your way quickly, especially for Emerald members. When we arrived it was after 10 PM we were greeted by several staff members and they had several options warmed up and ready to go. This was a huge help in the icy 26 degree weather.
From a month(May/Jun/2020) to this date, National at Cleveland International, has dropped my expectations! They never have cars on the Executive/Emerald lot, and if they have they are all worn, with a lot of miles, and filthy inside and outside. Where is is your commitment of cleanliness?
Pick up was fast and efficient. The car was clean and just what was promised. The woman on exiting was friendly and super helpful with directions, getting me on my way and to my destination. Returning the car was much the same experience. Easy and fast. The shuttle driver was friendly and helpful, keeping us informed on estimated time to the airport. Couldn’t ask for better experience.
Overall good customer service experience. Car was not clean though (bug splats on front of car & a few on windshield..and mud splats along sides of car). Bird poo too.Milk stains from baby seat in back seat (I know what this looks like cause I have two toddlers). Car smelled normal. Seats were clean besides back seat. Car runs and drives good. Other than the few small things Ill give it 4 stars.
My travel agent booked my car rental with National, and when I went to pick it up, the process was quick and seemless. I had the choice of 5 cars, so I picked a royal blue Jeep! It was in perfect condition, good gas mileage, and easy to drive. The return process was just as great, and the employee was friendly and thoughtful. Ill be sure to rent all my cars from National in the future. Thanks for your great service.
Normally I have positive rental experiences with National. When I picked up the car it was dusk. I walked around and noticed nothing damaged. I drove the vehicle for two days and hit nothing. When I returned the car (during the day, bright sun) the lot attendant meticulously inspected the vehicle and magically found that there was a piece of plastic pushed in at the bottom of the front bumper. I will be irritated if I have to pay for the repairs to something that I know I did not cause. Make sure you inspect your vehicle closely before taking it.
I love renting my vehicle from National. They are an experienced company who always place the customer first. Reservations, pick ups and returns couldn’t be easier and they have a great frequent rental program. I travel frequently for business and pleasure and my loyalty is with National.
Renting from Nationals emerald aisle was quick and painless. I went to the counter and they said that I was in the Emerald Club. They told me to go pick a car under the emerald club signs. I did and I was off on my trip. When I returned, I pulled in and the attendant gave me a receipt and also e-mailed a copy to me for my records.I couldnt ask for anything better! I will be using National again.
Everything was so smooth! I arrived, chose my car, and got in. There was a good selection to choose from. The keys were in it and I drove it to the booth, and handed my drivers license to the gentleman. After a couple of questions I was on my way. From start to finish, less than 10 minutes total! Couldnt have gone smoother!
I work for enterprise myself in Atlanta and I love to recognize excellent customer service when I see it. Mary Anne was so informative and nice at the Cleveland airport during our rental pickup for a wedding. She explained emerald club, showed us the layout of the lot, and even offered a free upgrade. Brian handled our return and was so awesome! Our flight had been delayed 4 hours due to tornados and he helped us find a solution with no hesitation! John drive our rental shuttle and delivered us safely to our destination! Great staff, great service! 5/5 ALL DAY LONG!!!
On 5/9/2021, I entered the Executive area of the National lot at Cleveland Airport. I was looking for a comfortable SUV as I was about to drive over 1000 miles in 3 days. It was pouring rain and 36 degrees and I was wet and cold. The first SUV I chose had too many miles. The second car did not work with Apple Play. I was getting frustrated besides being wet and cold. At this point, the outside manager, Ralph, saw me and asked if he could help. Ralph saw my Emerald card and noticed that I have been a loyal National customer since the early 90s. He pointed out a car that fit all of my needs and I drove it off the lot.Thank you Ralph! You made what was becoming a negative visit to the National lot in Cleveland, OH and turned it into a great experience because of your great customer care, service and smile!!
The Emerald Aisle Perks are glorious. I purchased a Midsize rental and got a very nice upgrade to a Voyager. I was very satisfied with the service. It was as easy as picking out the car under your club rating and driving off. I was able to get the rental in under 10 minutes!Returning the car is easy too. Just drive it slowly past the antitheft road spike blockade and go to the parking line they flag you to. From there grab your luggage and hand them your keys and your done. They even printed a receipt on the spot so I could get reimbursed right away.Beautiful new and clean cars. Rapid access. Great Service, what more could you ask for?
My car was very clean and ran great. National is a great company since they make it very easy to travel (bypass the counter directly to the lot and then chose from a variety of available cars versus one specific style). Great operation. They also make it simple to leave the lot with just showing your drivers license and done!
Avoid at all costs. I came to the airport to meet my sister there and drive her rental car (through National) back to my house since she doesnt like to drive at night, her flight came in at 10:40ish PM. My sister had her rental car paid for prior to picking it up. We get to the rental area so around 11:10ish and the desk guy wouldnt let her take the rental because she didnt have an Ohio license... The worker was exceptionally rude to use and the same thing happened to the guy in front of us and he was very rude and not helpful or apologitic, he didnt even try to explain the policy to either of us. We ended up getting a $130 Uber back to my house and didnt get home until 1AM when we shouldve been home by midnight... Do not use National Car Rental.
I have used the Emerald Isle with National for many years and have always had a great experience. This time I was disappointed that the car, which was the only one left in the Aisle at CLE airport at 11:30pm, smelled of cigarette smoke very badly; every time I got in the car it hit me. It also had a cigarette burn in the front passenger seat. I dealt with it as I only needed the car for a few days.
I really like working with National. I have not had any problems! I love the emerald aisle and i travel so much I am in the executive program now. The cars are in good condition and the service is fast.I dont like the deposit required for Georgia resident rentals. Sometimes I am only home on a weekend so I rent a car to get to and from the airport and have to provide a $250 deposit for a $100 rental.
I have been renting from National Car Rental for the past 10+ years and I am extremely happy with both the cars available and customer service. I travel 40% of the time for work and we have a few options when it comes to rental cars but I feel National has one of the best loyalty programs and if you have any issue they work with you to clear it up quickly. They care about the customer which is kind of a rare things nowadays and even though I only had one issue during this time it was taken care of immediately.
Ralph worked the lot and he was the Best! Very helpful. Great customer service. Found an excellent SUV. Easy to Extend for extra days online or via phone call and to drop off early in the morning. National prices were less than other car rentals along with giving me the ability to upgrade.I love National and always check their pricing first.
The ease of going to pick out a vehicle and dropping off makes for an easy way to go about your trip without having to go to the counter and check out. Getting to select the vehicle from the Emerald Aisle makes it fun to see whats available. Im used to an SUV and National Car Rental had one available for the same price as a mid-size sedan. Mo, the branch manager, at CLE-Hopkins was the best in reviewing my vehicle upon return. He was very understanding and professional. He is great at his job. Ive never had an issue at CLE-Hopkins National Car Rental and love the selection of vehicles that are available. I had other rental companies and nothing compares to the superb service that CLE-Hopkins gives.
This National location at the Cleveland Airport is a joke!! The agents there are constantly trying to up charge you even as an Elite member. We will never go to this location anymore!! If there was a no star option, Id choose that! Weve given them too many chances thinking maybe it was just a bad experience that time, but no there have been several occasions where we were swindled! 👎🏽
The Staff is very friendly and helpful, as well as they go above & beyond to meet your expectations when renting from National. The company I work for has an account with National. All employees are in the Emerald club. Being a club member gives you the opportunity to upgrade & select your vehicle with no questions asked.I like dealing with National, its a great car rental company.
Always so easy. They gave me Emerald Club Elite status based on my Hilton Gold status. So I can jump in whichever car I want in the Executive or Regular aisles and go. Returning is just as easy. Pull in, leave the keys in the dash, and they email the receipt. Grab my luggage and hop a shuttle right to the departures area.Ive also earned 4 free days, so when I travel for non business purposes I can use that award!
I love National and being Executive i was able to get the exact type of car i wanted with a lot of choices, once i arrived on the lot. Pretty fast check out but overall great experience with National. The only complaint i would have is, not Nationals problem or created problem, was having to take the bus over to the rental facility. When i arrived on Monday, there were probably 100 people in line waiting for a bus to rental, so i had to wait for 3 buses before i could get over. Not major, but after having to deal with extra long security in Atlanta and then waiting for 30 minutes to get to the rental facility made for a long day. However, National was great!
Hands down best rental experience ever. I thought it was just that person on the counter Sunday night who very kindly upgraded my car to premium car for a decent price. When I took the car is was half a tank I brought back 3/4 full. On way returning the car I confirmed with the lady it was only 1/2 tank she says it was charged out for a full tank. Mo the manager was close by came and asked what’s wrong when I explained he was right on top of it and adjusted it on the computer no issues what so ever. I was flying in and out 3 times that month for that I booked all three visits with national. Great team and customer service
National Car Rental at the airport location is one of the best places I have visited for car rental service. The people here are very cordial and always keep a smiling face! On my recent rental - I noticed that the choices in the Executive aisle were not optimal but the staff was accommodating as always and helped out with getting the right car. I would suggest improving the line up of cars in the Executive aisle but thumbs up to the customer service!
My rentals are thru a corporate account from my employer on a regular basis. I recently got into an accident and the service that I received from National was amazing. They got me a tow truck and this driver had to drive 75 miles to pick me up and 75 miles back to the airport to get me into another rental. It was after midnight and National customer service had to work hard to find me a road service person willing to drive all those miles. considering the distance and time, I was thrilled and extremely happy and satisfied with the service they provided. I recommend National to all my friends and family and advice them to always go that extra mile to check the coverage on the car insurance.
National car Rental has been a great company to work with. They usually have a decent selection of cars available and they are very clean.I really appreciate how fast both the pick up and drop off of the cars is.They continue to surprise me by randomly providing me with a nicer car option or doing other thoughtful things like providing water on hot days, etc.I will continue to use National as my Rental car provider!
Very good experience, from picking up the car, through to dropping vehicle back off at the rental agency. Each person that I dealt with at National, was very professional, and eager to help. The car was clean, and well maintained. I would certainly recommend the National team at the Birmingham, Alabama airport.
The rental experience at National in Cleveland, OH, was excellent. The service was quick and efficient. My experience was smooth and hassle-free. National has been a favorite of mine since I started traveling and they havent disappointed me yet. Their customer service is second to none and their people are the true gems of the organization. If you want a quality car rental experience, rent from National.
I rent most every week at the Cleveland Airport location. I am an Emerald Executive Elite status so I can go to the aisle and pick my car. There is a gentleman in the booth there ( I believe his name is Dallas) who always helps me find a car that has the navigation working. He has actually gone and found a car for me on a couple of occasions. He is always helpful and cheerful. The staff in the Exit booths are always cheerful and helpful as well, most often double checking that there is a snow/ice scraper in the car and asking if I need directions.I always rent from National as they seem to have nice, newer cars and very helpful staff at Cleveland Airport.
As a member of the Emerald Club, both personally & corporate, we rented a car for our week long vacation in Ohio. Service at the airport was non-existent to say the least. When we checked in, we were told to go to the parking lot, and someone would take care of us from there. We waited at least 15 minutes, nobody to be seen. We finally went back to the service desk inside, and they finally came out to get us a car.Three days into our trip our car starting acting up, chugging anytime you went over 30mph. We called the rental company, their first reaction was that we had to drive the car 30 miles away to get a trade in. When we explained that the car would not make it that far, they finally relented and said they would come tow the car. BUT, we had to find our own way to the rental place to get a replacement. Their response was to grab an Uber, or a taxi. We tried explaining that we were in a very rural community, where those luxuries dont exist. We were told that was our problem, if we wanted a new car, we had to find our own way there. They would not bring us another car. When we finally managed a ride to the nearest rental location, they had no clue we were coming. After another hour of discussion, they finally gave us another vehicle. We lost an entire day of our vacation and almost missed my stepdads 80th birthday (the reason for our trip). Highly disappointed, to pay over $400 for a week, and receive this kind of service...as a travel scheduler for the company I work for, I will be rethinking our Preferred Vendor for car rentals. I dont want my technicians to experience the same service as we did.
I had an excellent experience with National. Cant complain really. I had made a reservation for an economy class car, even though I am an Emerald Executive club member, to save some money. When I arrived, there were no economy class cars left, but a representative immediately directed me to the executive aisle and told me to have my pick of whatever car was there. I did just that with no issues and they still charged me for an economy class vehicle. I really appreciated how easy it was to get a car, even when my original class of car wasnt available and how friendly everyone was. Thanks National!
Overall the process was fine, but it defeats the purpose of being able to Pick anything on the Aisle when the aisle consists of 30 minivans and a subcompact. I honestly switched to National because I was tired of other companies upgrading me to an SUV or Minivan. Likewise, this wasnt a one time deal, but on both occasions renting from this National its been the case that you could have anything you want as long as its a Dodge minivan.Ive rented with National consistently for business for years, but for my next 3 trips out here, Im going back to the regular crapshoot with a different car rental agency and hopefully dont end up in another horrible minivan.
My company uses National often, and its usually a great experience. This one wasnt my favorite. There were only 3 cars available in the Emerald aisle. One pick up truck and 3 sedans. Im not comfortable driving a pick up, so I chose a sedan. After getting in it smelled strongly of smoke, so I got out. I chose the other sedan, since that was now my only other option, and drove to the check out. Then I realized 3 of the 4 tires were low on pressure. We had to reverse people out of the line so I could go back to the aisle again. I had to find the gentleman to help me, told him what happened. He shrugged his shoulders, said no problem, (maybe not to him, but it was a problem for me), didnt apologize for the inconvenience, and walked away. Fortunately 2 more cars had been returned to the aisle by this time, so I was able to select something appropriate and get moving to my meeting. Return of the car was no issue.
Rented a Jeep Compass at National and it was great. Had backup camera to make it easier to drive, was comfortable and the experience was easy and quick. I preregistered so all I had to do was go to the emerald lane and pick a car or SUV. There were many to choose from, most with out-of-state tags. I picked a neutral tag from North Carolina so no one would be mad at us driving in Ohio with a Michigan tag! Return was easy. We just dropped it off before hours and walked to the shuttle bus to take us to the Cleveland airport and we were off on our return to Florida. All in all it was a great trip with a great car.
The Phoenix Airport National was a great experience for me. After choosing my car from the executive aisle and realizing it was dirtier then it should be, the customer service rep heard my feedback and offered me my next day free. No questions asked. National is always easy to work with and helpful.
Cleveland Hopkins Airport Car Rental Center and Service is excellent. The service reps Listened to my needs and were able to provide me with the rental that best suited my needs for our vacation. Every time I rent from this location, the cars are clean, well maintenance and it is easy to make exchanges if needed. The customer friendly staff is the best I have encountered at National. I wish I lived in the area and could rent from them all of the time.
Overall I like National Car Rental, but this last time when I arrived they were running out of cars. They only had larger SUVs available at the time, and since I was not sure on the wait time for a car I took them up on their offer for a large SUV. Granted they gave me a Cadillac Escalade which is way better than I was paying for, but it was also way bigger then I needed. It would have been great if I needed to shuttle a group of people around, but for just me it was a little much. This being said I did enjoy driving it. I doubt there would have been another opportunity for me to drive this SUV.The people at National know that customers want to get their vehicles and get to their destinations quickly, so I appreciate them providing me a nice SUV to drive.
Cleveland National Car Rental Center provided exceptional customer service on the check in and return of our rental car. In spite of limited number of cars on site, Mo was especially helpful when he found us a car to fit our familys needs for the week. Then, Malinda helped smooth and expedite our return on the other end. Two great people on the team in Cleveland. Thanks to both for their helpfulness and customer-focus.
If you’re an emerald club member, National has the easiest car rental experience, bar none.1. Reserve a car online or via the app.2. When you go to pick up the car just walk directly to the cars area (bypass the counter), pick any car from the emerald aisle, get in it, drive away and show your ID to the attendant at the exit gate.3. When you return it, just pull up to the return area, an attendant will scan your car and welcome you back. That’s it. You’re done.
Customer Service and ease of rental should get 5 stars. Every employee that helped me was great!! Car was clean and the heater was on to save me from the snow..The price is what made me give 4 stars. I would make it a 4.5 bit that’s not an option. Even with a corporate discount, I still feel the price was a little steep.
This was the fastest, easiest most pleasant experience that I had ever had renting a car! In addition to getting an awesome rate, I also received a totally unexpected bonus. I was allowed select (upgrade) to a nicer, bigger vehicle, from a much larger variety of vehicles just for signing up for the Emerald program they offer to all thier customers. I booked an economy car and ended up with a very roomy small pickup truck (Nissan Frontier) for the same rate. I will NEVER rent a car from anyone else!
Love renting from National Car Rental. Being able to pick my own car is always a treat. Love being able to skip the counter. My husband and I just rented from the airport in Cleveland. The rental shuttle was crowded and my husband was dreading having to wait in line - I showed him the way to the Executive Aisle and off we drove! Never had a problem with renting from National.
Usually great service and quick to respond to issues with rentals. Only have had a few issues that werent fixed to my speed and satisfaction but I rent a lot so maybe I am a bit picky. My one issue is the cars could be cleaner. I often find them to be dirty, find left behind garbage in them and the windows are often not clean. Managers are very quick to help as well as the staff. Overall good experiences.
If I could give a lower rating than one star, I would. Our corporate contract allows for unlimited mileage as part of our emerald club program. I just found out that this is only when returning to the same place as pickup. No one said anything to me about it when I picked up the car to drive to different city, and it wasnt on my paperwork. Needless to say, I got charged an extra $400 for mileage, effectively doubling my total bill. National was completely unhelpful and unsympathetic when I called on the phone. Wont rent from them anymore.
Everything went fine. There was minimal delay picking up the car using the emerald isle. We drove the car about 2000 miles and dropped it off in another city - no hassle. My only problem was the GPS we added in. It worked fine, but took some time to figure out how to use it since there were no instructions included. Operation was significantly different than others I have used. Including an instruction book along with the device itself would have been appreciated. Once I figured it out, there was no problem.
Last week I rented a vehicle with National and once again the experience was great! Being able to just walk to the car of my choosing, because Im an Emerald Club member is a great option that they have. To become an Emerald Club member all you have to do is create a profile online and you can view all your info from your computer or like me from the app.I was pleasantly surprised in Cleveland when I asked for a truck that was a part of the Executive fleet and the team member Ralph said he would give me the free upgrade. Its experiences like these that will keep me a part of the National family whenever I need to rent a car.
Picking up the car from the Emerald Aisle or Executive Aisle is beyond fantastic. No waiting in line, just pick your car and go. Checkout is very easy, since all of my information is already on file. Returning the car with the Drop and Go option is great as well, since I often return the car before the location opens. Almost always have a great selection of cars.
To access this rental cal area youll need to take a shuttle bus from the departures sidewalk. It is marked by small fold out sign. Once I got to National the only cars available in the Business and Economy area were Dodge mini-vans. I waited about 10 minutes for a sedan to arrive and when it did it had not been run through a car wash. (My boss whom I was driving that week later pointed this out to me...) It was nice to have a fuel efficient Ford, and dropping off in Columbus, OH was extremely easy, but the selection is a little slim here in Cleveland, OH.
As usual, the rental experience was seamless and easy. This time however, there were only four vehicles to choose from in the aisle, with three of them being minivans. The vehicle I ended up with, a Jeep worked well, but was not very clean. A little disappointing, but National is still my preferred car rental company.
I thought I was a forever Enterprise customer until I used National Rental Car and they changed. the. game. If you hate waiting in lines, love discounts, and want a reliable company, use National. Their “Emerald Aisle” program lets you skip the line and use an app on your phone to check out. You skip all of the unpleasant parts of car rental and it seriously has converted me to a National customer for life.
After being told incorrect details from the representative concerning debit card payments when I booked my rental over the phone, there was a brief moment where panic had sunk in for me and I was worried that I was “stuck” 300 miles away from home. Connie at the Cleveland Airport National Rental Car along with her manager (I forget her name) really saved the day for me. They were able to grant an exception for me and get me on my way without issue. I don’t think they realize how much I appreciated their willingness to help me get home, so I wanted to make sure their exceptional customer service efforts did not go unnoticed! You guys rock!
AWD car did not like Highways with worn impressions from heavy traffic. Not sure the car is set up correctly. It would wander. Tire pressure was much higher than required by instrument panel checks. Overall nice car if they could correct the AWD reactions to the road surface.
If you can become an Emerald Member do it. Getting off your plane, taking a quick shuttle over to the rental car lot, walking directly to any car in the selected aisle, scanning the QR code on the keys, going straight to the gate, and then leaving makes the stress of traveling so much easier. The drop off and pick up are incredibly easy with National. Anyone can sign up for Emerald Club that makes it even easier. The staff at the Cleveland Airport location are always friendly, fast, and helpful. They almost always have a good selection of cars and on really cold nights, they have a few of the cars already warming up so you dont get so cold getting in. A very nice touch.I will continue renting through National and will recommend them.
There were only 3 cars in the Executive Elite section when I arrived, so it was disappointing that there wasn’t much selection. The car was fairly clean but the dashboard was dusty and hadn’t been wiped down. Also, this location is only open until 10:00PM, so I rented from Avis (open until Midnight) the next 2 trips to Cleveland.
I really enjoy being walk to the parking lot from the flight and right to the car of my choice. Minimal hassle unless you are standing in line waiting for cars to come forward as there are none in the lot. I really like the ability to add tolls per day and not have to fight the booths or the magical box on the windshield. Much better experience than I had with Hertz.
I typically rent from National twice a month for work. The folks at the National Customer service help line are great. They have walked me through a flat tire, an accident, and keys locked in the van. However, I have had TERRIBLE experience with the folks who work at the Minneapolis, Phoenix, Laguardia, and Charlotte airports for National car rental facilities who help you get your car. Its either taken a long time to get a car, even though Ive used the Executive Aisle, or they are completely unable to answer questions or help me.
Quick, efficient and painless. Emerald Club makes using National so easy. Getting in and out is a breeze..... once you find the rental car place. The Rental Car return at Cleveland Hopkins is a maze to get to. I had to go through the terminal to finally see signs directing me, good thing I was early. National did their part, the airport and transportation too and from was the only challenge. 5 stars reflects National NOT CLE, they would get 2 stars at best.
Car with 14,000 miles was not clean when I picked it up in the Emerald Isle, and bad enough that vision through the windshield was comprised for my drive from the airport to destination at night. The entire outside of the car was dirty, and the wheels still had shipping tape-glue stuck on them. The pickup was good as always at the Isle, but the choice was not sufficient. When I returned the car, the attendant did credit some money after my complaint, so he tried to help.
Exceptional service upon arrival and during the duration of the trip.I experienced a flat tire due to a road hazard , had to change the tire, put the spare on.. and return the vehicle to exchange it for a different one.Jorge at the Cleveland airport location and the call centre representatives were first rate!
Being an Emerald member makes my life easy. Every time I rent, I walk out to a perfectly clean, requested model car with a full tank and good to go. Takes no time at all, and every National service rep is friendly and happy - even in sub zero temps in Cleveland. Thanks National!
The National car rental center at Hopkins airport in Cleveland has consistently provided excellent customer service with friendly attendants and late model and low mileage car rentals. Being an Emerald club member, I simply get off the car rental airport shuttle, walk past the counter, out to the lot, and then pick whatever car in the Emerald isle that I want... just like the commercials! When a lot attendant has been present, they have often offered complimentary upgrades depending on availability. Then, since my payment info is attached to my account, I drive to the gate, greet that attendant, show my ID, and get a hearty Have a Nice day, and thanks for renting with National!. What more could you ask for?
I had a new Infinity Q60 with what turned out to be a fast leak in the right rear tire. The service group was quick to take my information and get it to the local AAA service contractor who was on site within the hour, and changed out the flat for the spare tire by the time I was back from my meeting. My only complaint was that I was charged $55 for this service. As an Executive Elite member with a spotless record with National, I was disappointed that I had to pay more for this service when I was already in a difficult situation. All of that said, I was satisfied with the response and service I received.
Extremely easy and fast to get my rental car. The car was very clean and the staff at National was very courteous and friendly. The drivers on the shuttle bus and the security gate person were just as friendly and accommodating. One of the best experiences I have had in renting a car, thank you National.
My recent experiences with National airport outlets in Albuquerque and Columbus have been extremely positive. Employees are empowered to solve problems and everything runs very smoothly. Plus I’ve gotten some sweet upgraded rides at intermediate rates, just because. National is earning my brand loyalty by doing a great job at customer service.
I picked up my vehicle from Cleveland and had to drive to Columbus for business and the AC intermittently didn’t work. The second night was so bad that the entire window was foggy and I couldn’t defrost. They switched me out to another car, but it was extremely late by the time they got there. I appreciate the attempt, but it wasn’t convenient and I had numerous calls from the tow truck driver because he didn’t know where to pick up the other vehicle. They could have communicated better with their own contractors.
We have used this location several times and it has always met or exceeded expectations. Process is seamless and convenient; shuttle buses run regularly right to curbside of baggage area; staff is always friendly and fast; cars are very clean, in good mechanical condition and have fairly low miles. Best in class company and location.
I use National Car Rental for business trips. I made the call early on because of the Emerald Aisle perk they have when you join the Emerald Club. Im not big on math, so I cant tell you how much time this has saved me, but I know it is a lot. It is also nice to be able to pick your own car - I have gotten to drive some very cool/fun vehicles as a result.
National Rental Car is first rate worldwide. Even if they disappoint you the impact is minimal. The Cleveland site would have gotten 4 stars instead of 5 because the selection of vehicles for 3 travelers was slim. Then the return process which world wide is fast and flawless was not at this location. There were 3 cars returned with customers standing outside in 30 dag f temp waiting for a National employee. When the employee came out of the terminal area he said to each customwr, well email you the receipt, you are good to go. This was not a major dissatisfied but was so unlike the normal National experience.
Rental car experience is always good. However, before the last rental I received a new credit card with new expiration date. I went in to the website and updated this information a few days before leaving. This created issues. My card had to be scanned when checking out (understandable. I then received an email from National saying my account was about to expire and I needed to login and update my information. There was nothing to update. It was all current. Had to call in and have it looked into. They could not find anything either. A bit of a hassle this last rental experience.
Great customer service. Only issue is that when I arrived the only car left on the lot was a minivan, this is the 2nd time this happened to me. The attendant was very helpful and upgraded me both times. National may want to decrease the number of minivans and increase the SUVs, etc., due to the business travelers who are not interested in driving a large car.
It was my first time renting from National at Cleveland Hopkins airport. Wonderful group car rental facility - clean and well-appointed with convenient shuttle transportation to/from the airport (which is close-by). There is a gas station conveniently located nearby for re-fueling before returning your rental car. The National car rental staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Thanks for a great experience!
The car that I reserved was ready when I arrived. I was given a choice of cars to choose from and the attendant was very friendly and helpful. When I returned the car I found that the process was very simple and the person accepting my car was also very friendly and helpful. The car that I chose worked flawlessly. I am very satisfied.
The Staff out in the lot were all very nice. I had no issues with the car, check out, or check in. I always use National when I go to Cleveland. Only reason they didnt get 5 stars was car choice. there were 4 or 5 big cars on the lot, but looking for a standard as I needed to drive downtown and didnt want to fight with a dodge charger.
The National team could not have been more accommodating. I had a specific request I made on-site for a hybrid car. None was in the line up. The Branch Manager, Mo, overheard my request and jumped into action. He asked me if I could wait a moment while he checked availability. Mo returned in less than a minute with a Fusion Hybrid that worked great for us.
I have used National Car Rental whenever I travel for work and the staff are always friendly and helpful. They always have a nice selection of cars to choose from and they make the process of securing your rental painless and easy. I would recommend using National Car Rental.
Bear in mind that their normal rates for a mid size car are higher than their competition. I would give them 4 stars if I had to pay the normal rates. Fortunately, I get a negotiated rate. I have rented for several weeks each year the last four years or so. As such I am an Executive Emerald Club Member. I like being able to pick from their selection of cars, small SUVs and mini-vans. Usually, the selection in the Emerald Club lane is adequate. The Executive lane has a few premium selections, so occasionally this helps me. Anyway, I like renting from National.
Ive flown to Cleveland a few times over the past year and this is by far the worst National branch Ive encountered. For one Executive Elite means nothing to them at this breach. All their vehicles in Executive isles were minivans and pickups. On one of my trips I reserved a luxury car and I was told there were none available yet they had luxury class vehicles available in the premier selection for a upgrade price. After trying to charge me extra for a car class I booked. I threatened to call corporate and they let me rent a CTS they originally wanted me to premier selection upgrade fee for. Ill be using Hertz at the Cleveland Airport now.
My rental car wouldnt start when I was trying to get to the airport to return home. Roadside Service was very helpful in getting the car towed. However, it took me 5 phone calls and several days to get the rental desk to receive the car and close out my rental agreement. A real left hand - right hand problem between Roadside and the National desk.
Good customer service is lacking in dealing with so many businesses today. It is both surprising and refreshing to come in contact with a company that not only presents you with good service, but gives excellent service. My husband is very tall and we could not find a vehicle on the lot that he could fit to comfortably drive. On this particular day the cars were being rented faster than the Road Runner being pursued by the Coyote! We were ready to give up when Ralph came to our rescue. He listened to our dilemma and then went out of his way to secure a vehicle that my husband could both ride and drive comfortably. Thank you again and again National for your great customer service.
No Executive Elite isle car selection. The Executive isle was full of mini vans and terrible Dodge mini crossovers. I tried driving out with my upgrade if available which entitled for the status (there were plenty of vehicles there) and I was told I was going to get charged $60 a day for an upgrade, so I had to back out of the gate and waited a half hour until the finished processing a Jeep Renegade
Usually i LOVE the convenience of National. Its so quick, easy and painless to walk out, get in my car and go. Even when I had to go to a counter at a smaller airport the process was really quick and easy. Im only giving a 4 star bc this last trip, I had to extend my stay. When our company travel agent called to let them know id return the car a day later they told her no and said Id have to call them to make the changes myself vs her being able to do the change for me. The travel agent whod done this for 30 years said shes never had that be an issue. Ive been doing work travel for a while as well and have to say I was a little surprised. Our travel agent said she finally told the lady, I didnt have time to call to make the extension. (which I really didnt) Anyway, not sure what happened there but I did return it the next day with no issues. Our company is a multi-billion dollar company who uses National as its corporate account. Hopefully this is one-time issue as I will continue to use National adn do recommend them highly.
The process of picking up my car in Cleveland was great, per usual with National, however, the choices of cars were slim. I arrived in the evening, around 6:30pm on a Monday - theres no reason the selection should be down to 3 vehicles at this prime hour. Additionally, none of the cars had Bluetooth, which nowadays, should be standard with the hands-free laws that are in place.Check out took far too long when trying to leave the airport, however, returning of the vehicle went smoothly.
The first van we were given was full of broken glass. There was broken glass under the drivers seat, by the pedals, in front of the second row seats, like windshield glass, the shatterproof stuff. How does that get missed when the van is cleaned and put into the rental pool?So we get our second van, which was fine - till we returned it, and they tried to charge me for over 1,300 miles that we didnt drive because someone wrote down the starting mileage wrong. 1,300 miles in 2 days?Fortunately we had the original tag in the car that showed we had only drive just over 100 miles, well within the 300 limit, so the receipt was corrected from over $500 to just over $100. This is the 3rd time that a National rental has tried to charge me for 1000+ miles I did not drive because of an incorrect starting mileage. Very suspicious.
Car was nice size and easy transaction getting car and returning. One big problem I picked car up in Cleveland and drove car eventually to Buffalo and the car would only show miles per hour in Km per hour and could not be turned over to mph. Unless you have someone that can translate the change km to mph you are in trouble. Attendant said this car needs to stay in Canada. YOU THINK!
The rental was fine, but would have been better had it not snowed. There was no snow brush/scraper in the car. Had to use the floor mats to remove snow, and wait for the defrost to remove the ice from the windshield. The forecast called for snow when I picked up the vehicle, but I did not check to see if the proper tools were in the car.
I almost always use National when I need a car rental because of the Emrald Aisle program. I like being able to skip the counter and the freedom of choice to pick my car. This trip to Cleveland though the cars were not in the best of shape. I have never opened so many cars that smelled like smoke. After looking at almost a dozen cars, I ended up with a vehicle that I wouldn’t normally choose because it was the only one that didn’t smell like smoke. I am hoping this was just an anomaly and that my next experience will get back to normal freedom of choice.
As a loyal customer of the Enterprise/National/Alamo brand for over 25 years, I am very disappointed with this location. First of all, being an airport location they handle more business than most average store locations elsewhere. And doing so, I would expect a higher quality of service than my local location. Instead what I found was the agents out at the parking lot to be rude and almost unprofessional. The renting process was fairly smooth with my reservation already in place. Vehicle selection was a little bit testy between myself and the agent out at the parking lot. Vehicle return was even more of a royal pain when I actually questioned the returning agent about extra charges they were adding to my bill. I had selected the option of filling my tank before returning the vehicle in which I topped it off just about 5 miles before getting back to the airport. The returning agent felt that the gas needle was a hairs width below the full line on the gas gauge inside the car and therefore felt it necessary to charge me for 3 gallons of gas at almost $4 a gallon. When I questioned her about it, she was in the process of handling the return of another customer. Then the other customer commented the same thing, look youve charged me for 3 gallons of gas as well. To which the rental agent made the same comment about the position of the gas gauge inside the car. The other customer did not feel like making a stink about it and accepted the $12 extra charge to her bill. I however protested and insisted to speak with a manager. They made me wait almost a half hour to speak with the manager, during which time I took the opportunity to read the paperwork laying on the countertop for all to see with the sales of each individual associate as far as extras offered to customers such as satellite radio or GPS. Believe me, it was extremely enlightening. The only thing it really needed was an extra column for fraudulent charges. Upon speaking with the manager her computer was having problems and their printer ran out of ink so the best she could do was to provide me with a handwritten receipt saying that the money would be taken off of my credit card sometime within the next two to four weeks. Now, the reason for the three stars. Number one, it is still a brand with which I will continue to do business, just not this particular location if I can help it. Number two, the vehicles they stock most generally are never over 36,000 miles. As a matter of fact usually Ive had a vehicle anywhere between 1000 and 10000 miles. So you know youre not going to be worrying about breaking down somewhere. Number three, despite the bad experience Ive had here, I know that the Enterprise brand as a whole has a lot better service at many, many locations and if I really had wanted to push it I could have contacted their headquarters. Number four, just as the manager said, my money was refunded.
Such a pleasure with National! I cant sing enough about my joy to bypass the line at the counter to grab the car I want so I can boogie on down the highway! I have used them only 20 times so far (just a rookie!) but to sum up in two words....me likey!my only issue is the plates on my car were NOT for my car. Do you know how I found out? The beautiful, lovely deputy sheriff told me! National has a little work to do on the vehicle transfer process but being pulled over by that lovely deputy made my day!
By far the worst national car rental I have ever dealt with. I go to a lot of them, as I have executive elite status, with them.Rented a car for a drive into Pennsylvania. 8 to 10 inches of snow expected, so I asked if they had a suburban or something similar I could take. The guy in the booth could not bother to leave his seat. In fact, before that, I finally had to knock on the window to get his attention away from his phone. When he finally graced me with his presence, he stated that the only way I could get something like that, was to pay the higher rate. I told him most other branches typically have one or two in the executive lot. Again, not looking at me, just told me “not this location“.Honestly, I will probably just look at doing a status match over to hertz or somebody else.
As an Executive Elite member I have many rentals under my belt. I am becoming disappointed with the selection of vehicles in the Executive aisle. I would like to think that there would be better cars than the Emerald aisle. There are a ridiculous number of small cars and SUVs which are mostly all FOREIGN. There needs to me more standard SUVs (FORD Explorers, Dodge Durango, ect). All of the Hyundai, KIA, and Toyota need to be a smaller part of your inventory.
I rented a new Toyota Camry SE. It was clean and drove very well. Everythi8ng on the car was in order. They even included an ice scraper in the cabin in case it snowed. That scraper was needed at 6 different times during my 2 day rental - so glad it was there. One thing might help...if youve never driven a car with adaptive cruise or front looking radar, it would be nice to have some quick instructions on how it works. I was curious to try it, but was too distracted trying to use it, I was a hazard to myself. I will rent again from National.
I rented a car from National at CLE last week and was disappointed in the car selection. The car I wanted had no gas and was extremely dirty. This led me to try out the other options. After 4 other smelly cars I went ahead and picked the least smelly of all of them. Not sure why all the car smell at this location. Pro Tip: Be careful as you exit the car rental lot. The road is loaded with pot holes.
Staff was very helpful each time I have visited this location. They don´t usually have the greatest selection, unless you are in the mood for a minivan, but overall it is a pretty good location. You do have to take a shuttle from the airport to the rental car center which is unfortunate, but that isn´t really national´s fault.
First time ever using National and the experience was flawless. I was hesitant because it seemed TOO easy but everything was exactly what National said it would be. Customer service was friendly and professional. Definitely will use National as my go to for more rental in the near future.
Pretty good options with friendly people. Shuttle to the airport but really stinks its not right at the airport but they obviously cant help that. Got a car here for two weeks and I had to get the oil changed while I was driving it- said 4%, called National, sent me to an oil change shop- wrong one without national contract, then sent me to another and wasted 3 hours of my evening.
National incorrectly charged for fuel per our corporate contract. If we travel less than 75 miles we are not required to fill up. I was not able to receive a receipt at the time I returned the vehicle and did not see the additional charge until I received an email receipt.
The emerald club and it is a must have for renting! Just walk in and drive off, no lines, no forms, just easy. You dont even have to stop at the desk. Drive to the exit, hand the attendant your drivers licence and youre off - literally took less than 5 minutes. The Hyundai Sonata I took was clean and comfy, gave me great mileage and had all the bells and whistles I like. There are a lot of options in style and color, so you arent stuck with something you arent comfortable with.
Everything was fine, except, my reservation included a request for hand controls. That is part of every reservation I have made with National because I require that due to a disability. The issue was that when I arrived there was no car ready. So, I end up having to wait while they find a car for me, which they did. This time they told me that in the future I need to call a special number to make the reservation, which I have never had to do or been told that I needed to do that.
Couple of minor issues.Arrived at Cleveland at 9 p.m. and the only vehicles not in the executive class were two minivans and a pickup. No regular cars.Ten minutes down the road it bacame obvious that a previous (ab)user had smoked in the vehicle. Not really a lot they can do about that after the fact.As this was an overnight trip they were not much of an issue. For a longer trip with more miles clocked up the smoke would have been more annoying. The staff were chearful and pleasant. Place was clean. Staff were evident and promptly available, the check-out and return were easy. All in all everything i needed for the trip.
Upon my arrival I proceeded to the Emerald Executive aisle and the ONLY car option was Dodge Vans. I really didn’t need a van. The one I radomly chose had a strong smell of air freshener to the point I had to drive with the windows open. Once the air freshener odor faded away the remaining odor was horrible. It stunk badly. In all honesty, this was my very first unpleasant experience with National. They are typically great so I am sure this was related to the Cleveland airport location only.
Arrived along with another Executive memeber and was discriminated against. We both had a complaint about the shortage of vehicles in the executive aisle as they were all sub compact cars or extra small suvs. National gave the other Executive a BMW and told me to choose from aisle only. Waited over 1.5 hours for a manager to show up named Moe who arrived 1 hour late and before asking me what happened told me Get out my store and we are doing no business with you. After realizing my colleague was on speaker hearing the whole thing he proceeded to ask me to come outside and told me to take a car from the aisle. To avoid further conflict I proceeded to Enterprise and took a rental there. So far Emerald club Executive tier is not living up to its expectations. I have 190 rental days this year with enterprise. Switching to National so far has been a bust at Hopkins International Airport.
Renting a car here is always a seamless experience. My flight was delayed and I wasnt going to get to the location within the business hours. I called ahead and they assured me they would have someone there. Sure enough, someone was there to help me check the car out.
National car rental always provides exceptional service and a competitive price. What they dont provide is cars. Small SUVs, cross-overs, minivans, and pickup trucks. No cars. If you are a business-person, sales rep, etc., and need a car to take a client to lunch, (or you need a car to take your mother-in-law to dinner), and need a car that people can sit comfortably in a back seat, then you cant count on National.I started with National because they had a fleet of Chrysler 300s that are perfect rental cars. Large, quiet, and comfortable for anyone. Now they must think their clients are soccer-moms on vacation, because the lots are loaded with minivans and mini-SUVs. These things are hard to drive, hard to get in to, and just plain ugly.
The car was cleaned but not the inside of windows. They were horrible. So milky dirty that I could not see with the sun glare. Had to clean them before my trip. Im glad I noticed it before i left! Not safe! And the Nissan Sentra does not have a center arm rest for driver. Ill pick another car next time.
I had a very specific need for a full size SUV to be picked up in Cleveland for a one way rental and was concerned whether one would actually be there for me. Making reservations or trying to call an exact location is very difficult with Nationals phones. LOTS of toll free numbers- tough to navigate. But I did get a reservation contact who set everything up and assured me I would have one waiting. On landing in CLE and rather tired, I was greeted with a very clean Yukon with very low mileage and a very helpful agent (Jason I think - I apologize because I want to give him a shout out for all his help.) Other than actually trying to navigate the phones, I found the actual location experience simple, on top of things, and very helpful.
The Cleveland national will put hang tags on the cars saying they cost more per day when they dont. They mark lots of different full size cars that arent premium as upgrades. A V8 Challenger is considered by National to be a full size car. There isnt supposed to be an upcharge fee for it. Cleveland tries to charge one. Ive had them tell me at the gate before that there was going to be an additional charge for the car I was in, despite there not being a tag on it stating that it would cost more. They made me turn around and put the car back. The Cleveland national uses shady business tactics and incorrectly charges customers more. Avoid if you can.
Everything was fine except I returned by car an hour late and they charged me $17.50 for that extra hour. If I would have known they charged by the hour I would have returned it a day later instead of rushing to get it back since the daily rental price was around $35. I am an executive emerald isle member, which means use National Rental car quite frequently and it was disappointed to see an hourly charge.
I am an Emerald member and choose not to give my credit card number. My work pays for everything so it’s always paid for. The lady at the gate as I was leaving was not at all nice. She said that since I refuse to give my credit card number, and remember they had my corporate credit card on file to pay for it, i am no longer permitted to go get a car from the Emerald Isle. I will have to take what I get. She was not very nice at all. Rude is how I would describe her. The car was nice but the trunk would not open with the remote. When i got back to turn it in they said it’s a default and it does not work on any of them.
The experience was great. Join the emerald club it is free. You bypass the desk walk up to any car in the isle. You just drive off. This is the best car rental experience I have ever had. But cle should have the same system as Orlando. I could drop it off right at the terminal.
I rent cars a lot and this off-site rental center was run of the mill basically. Although it was a Saturday, there were only a couple vehicles on the executive platinum aisle - none of which I would have chosen had there been better selection. Got turned around coming back to the rental car return as I put Cleveland Airport into my GPS and did not see a rental car return sign until I drove through the terminal drop off area first. Took an extra 10 minutes to get to right place. Need better signage from approaching freeways.
I got to this location pretty late at night (gotta love delayed flights) and ran through to the Emerald club aisle. I picked a car that I thought was good, checking out and starting my drive. It wasnt until I stopped at a gas station that I realized how filthy my car was on the inside... It honestly looked as if it hadnt been vacuumed, wiped down or anything. There were crumbs everywhere and I instantly felt dirty... Had I noticed this sooner I wouldnt have taken this car, and instead pointed it out to someone who worked there. Moral of the story - double check your cars cleanliness right away.
Miserable selection of cars. When I got there I had a choice of a pick up, minivan and a rear wheel drive Challenger. It was snowing and thats the last thing I wanted to drive. So I got tired of waiting for something better to drive and went to the upgrade aisle and chose an Audi. Now that you are in the premium section, you would think you would get something decked out. This was a bone stock X3. It did not have navigation, heated seats etc.
Emerald Isle is a great concept. I always look forward to walking out and finding what cars I have to choose from. So far, Ive never been disappointed.Edit: The program has changed since I wrote the review. Still use National Car and like the Emerald Isle concept but even with Executive Elite status, the luxury cars are paid upgrades. You used to get lucky sometimes and find a BMW X3 or Cadillac SUV on the Emerald Isle. Those days are gone.
MaryAnn was so helpful with finding a van for my family - in the rain. She was careful to give us a van that was clean and fully functional. She was very pleasant and is clearly a valuable employee and good person. As an Executive member for many years, the Cleveland team year-over-year is the best!
I word of caution to my fellow travelers who are delayed by the airlines getting to the car rental desk. Recently I was told I did not have a reservation in my name even though I am a regular renter at National with Emerald Club status. I left the clerk to check another Rental Agency next door that my company sometimes uses as a backup. Also no record of my reservation. Back to National, asked if wouldnt mind checking again after his comment that I keep losing my place in line, turned out I was in the system but because my flight was delayed and was expected in much earlier (same day) clerk didnt look. Not my normal experience. If youre late - make sure clerk acknowledges.
Rented a premium vehicle and got the opposite. Got a Nissan Maxima which fit the criteria, but would’ve rather taken the Fully loaded Altima that was cheaper. I think National needs to do better on premium rentals. To review the car itself, this was very subpar compared to my other Nissan Maxima rentals. Even the driver side plastic windshield airbag cover was falling off. No leather seats ether. Probably the worst National experience I have had in terms of lack of “premium” feel.Worst part was when I showed disinterest after seeing it, the employee waved me off. I had an international colleague with me so I didn’t want to make a scene in front of him.The only good thing was the easy check in and check out National usually has. I know National can do better overall and have experienced it many times. This just happens to be bad this location it seems.Rent somewhere else when at this airport.
I came in late and there were plenty of cars at the Emerald Aisle and service and price were good, as usual.. Unfortunately, I will no longer be renting from National (or any Enterprise affiliated company) with their recent announcement regarding non-support of the NRA. Companies should seek to STAY OUT OF POLITICS. I rent a lot of cars in a year and will take my business elsewhere from now.
The agent who helped me at the Cleveland airport was really nice, he put my luggage in the back of the car and he had some kind words and thanked me for using National. On my return the agent checked the car in and thanked me for using National, I thought that was nice.

2022-02-28I crashed my company car (a Honda) in December, requiring a rental car.National-Cleveland was recommended and I am glad they were.I wanted to rent a Honda for system familiatity and got an Accord and had it for a month. Great car.I returned it and needed a 4x4 as my business travel required something safely able to travel in the snow.I rented a Toyota Tacoma 4x4 and it was great! I had to keep it for 6 weeks until my car was repaired and from the counter to the return the National-Cleveland folks were helpful, courteous and a great help getting specifically what I needed.Highly recommended as i will certainly return!

2022-04-11Everything was good. Nice lady at the car return check in took extra step to credit my charges for full tank that was prepaid. She could have ignored it, but she took the action. Im very appreciative for her actions and hope National will also take note of her exceptional service.

2022-04-18Everytime I go online to my account and secure a vehicle its always a great experience. The vehicles are always clean inside and out. They even smell fresh and clean. The team of employees are always polite, friendly, courteous and very helpful. Upon arrival to the vehicle lot, it takes merely minutes to select a vehicle, get inside and drive to the gate. The attendant checks my I.D. and the vehicle I.D. and tells me Im all set and have a great day. Its literally that simple. If I had to muster one complaint, it would be, I wish National Car Rental location wasnt so far from my home.

2022-01-17I really enjoy how National Car Rental handles their rental experience. It is so easy to by-pass a desk, pick out my own car and then have a friendly attendant check me out once at the exit. Perfect. With other companies it seems you go through the same process three times. Thank you for eliminating the craziness and redundancy!

2022-06-27Our original business reservation was with Avis. After 30 min wait in line to confirm reservation, we were told to wait outside and our vehicle would be brought to us. After 10 more minutes of waiting and hearing from customer ahead in line receive damaged cars and/or cars with only 3/4 full tank, we decided to cancel our Avis reservation and visit NationalWithin 5 minutes from stepping up to the counter, we were outside picking our own rental car with gentle guidance from Mary Ann on which vehicle had the lowest mileage or was even electric

2022-06-27First time renting a car. Not only was it an amazingly smooth process, it was fast and easy. I had no waiting, and even though I had no idea where to head once inside the CLE airport car rental building, an agent came out from behind the desk to come to me (I was standing there likely looking bewildered), and ask if I needed help. From there, it was a short walk out to the car area, and I was able to choose one in my class and head right out. The car ended up being brand spanking new, with 1 mile on the odometer, so it was clean and blemish free. For the drop off, at 4am, it was quick and painless. Pulled up in the queue, got my stuff out, let him check it over for all of maybe 60 seconds max, got my receipt and was back on my way! I appreciate the simplicity and efficiency of their system, and the consideration of their agents is stellar! I do have a suggestion though- when someone books, perhaps send some information about the pickup area. Where it is, where to go, what to do, etc. The reason is that I have quickly learned that all airports are different, and finding the shuttle when you land can be difficult and daunting. I’m sure I will be researching that information beforehand, now that I know I need to; but for people who have never rented a car- you don’t know what you don’t know. Anyway, back to the experience: it was perfect. Easy pray lemon squeeze-y ! Keep it up y’all… and give them a raise! 😉

2022-07-16What an amazing experience Ive had the past three weeks in and out of Cleveland Hopkins Airport. I had the pleasure of meeting Ralph over at National Car Rental who was so very helpful! My last day there I decided to switch out rental cars and I upgraded to a Alfa Romeo Stelvio in which Ralph recommended and I loved the SUV so much that its definitely on top of my list for a vehicle I would consider purchasing next. Hats off to Ralph and his pure hearted kindness! He was quick to assist my girlfriend and put her luggage into our rental. I cant thank you enough! Take care and keep delivering the amazing customer experience.- Chris

2022-06-29I love the Emerald Aisle concept and execution. I pay a flat rate, pick out a vehicle when I get there (selection is always nicely varied and Ive used the service in multiple States and cities) and off I go. Drop off has always been a breeze as well. Highly recommended.

2022-02-04I always use national car rental. This time the car ran a little off. I had to stay away from freeways and was charged an extra day because it was late during a snow storm and only was able to take the long way there. Hope they had it serviced

2022-04-25No issues with the Cleveland crew. Although there was snow twice and no brush in the car. Two items I wish National would work on: Windshields being clean and why are there no upgrade opportunities randomly instead just free days for rentals which I almost never use.
