We live 175 miles away and Larry made buying the car we were interested in a breeze! He was incredibly patient and was very family orientated. I brought my 2 young kids with us and he gave them crayons to color, some quarters for the candy machine, and he even gave them a little decoration on his desk to take home. Before I even left to head there, he called and told me everything i needed to know, and he got some information so he could have the paperwork filled ready to go when we got there. The car was pulled up front, we took it for a test drive, and he answered a couple questions we had. I paid in cash and they took almost $1,000 off the price. It all took less than an hour and we were driving home in our car! WELL WORTH THE 3 HOUR TRIP.
Buying my first truck here has been an amazing experience. Thanks to Craig Evans who was very helpful and who was as determined as me to get me in my new truck; and not the pushy type. We came to an agreement on the truck and he did everything in his power to help me drive it off the lot. Also thanks to Jahmal for assisting me as well. You guys were truly helpful and amazing. We found a Jeep they had listed online and took it for a test drive, we were ready to buy. Craig is a very upfront and an honest person. I bought a 2019 ford mustang gt from here. I did not do a car fax, bad decision. I had the car 5 months, hit a deer, minor damage. When I bought the car I was told it was in a minor crash, wrong! Now it cost me 6000 dollars to fix it. Be careful what you buy because they do not do a detailed inspection
We spent several months finding the right vehicle at the right deal, and tested many vehicles and many dealerships. We found the right car and the right deal at National Car Mart III. Shannon was our salesman and made sure to go to bat for us on several fronts. We also got to work with Larry, the manager, on a personal level. Both guys were straightforward and personable. The kinda guys you want to have a beer with. There was no smoke and mirrors here. What we ended up with was a low mileage car, in top notch condition, at a price you couldnt find if you traveled all over hells half acre. I ALMOST felt guilty for paying such a low price...almost.
Went in looking around to possibly buy my wife an SUV for Christmas .John Sims took the time to give me keys to almost every SUV on the lot a never once rushed me to make a decision. He helped me find the right SUV a 2015 Chevy Equinox with low miles and a 3 yr unlimited mileage warranty all within the budget I was looking for. Did I mention it was a Friday night and very close to closing time ? That is because it was never an issue he said he would stick around as long as it took to get the deal worked out for me (luckily the finance crew are just as great) they only needed a short amount of time to put a great deal together.After the deal was finalized I asked if I could leave the car there so my wife wouldn’t see it before Christmas not only did they agree to that but they surprisingly changed the oil , filter , cabin air filter and installed new rotors and brake pads all the way around. I really feel they did everything to make me feel like I chose the right place to buy.
Drove around town for a few days to several dealerships. The second I pulled up to National Car mart I met with a salesman named Craig Evans. The guy automatically understood my situation and had me in a 2017 vehicle with less than 12000 miles on it within a few hours. I gotta say he is the only salesman I was happy with out of all the dealerships I spoke with that week.
My husband and I bought a car 07/08 from John. These guys are great. Easy to talk to and no pressure, John got us easy financing and a beautiful car!!! Spoke to Craig Evans. Showed me around, qualified me for purchase and found four different vehicles that fit the bill. Really helpful. Meanwhile, his team behind the counter was working on the best rate and a three year warranty on a vehicle that is already eight years old. Good experience 👍. They did their job and well. Would recommend these guys to anyone. By the buy. Got home after the purchase and looked the car I bought online. I got a good deal, no two ways about it.
Al was awesome to work with. We lived 2 hours away and he made sure the car we picked out online was in great shape. Sent me pictures and answered all my questions. When we arrived, he treated us like family. Car was out front ready to go. We paid less than it was advertised for and really feel like we got a great deal! Absolutely loved my experience!!!!I worked with Salesman Larry Bauer and he made purchasing a car so simple, quick, and easy.My credit is not in the shape that it once was but they offer credit approval for everyone with interest rates that will NOT break the bank. My car is perfect and Ive had it for about 2 years now. No problems or signs of problems at all. If you are looking for a good deal then this is the perfect place. I have referred 2 family members who bought cars and they gave me 2 $100.00 checks for referring them! I love this place!
THIS DEALERSHIP IS MISLEADING! I filled out an online application, i got pre approved with capital one. George calls and says i got pre approved. He leads me on shows me a truck im really interested in, he says im approved i put down a deposit on the truck and asked they dont sell it from under me. I had to wait till friday to test drive, they ask if i want to sign paperwork and i said i wanted to wait until i can test drive. A day later i got a TEXT, no call or anything just a text saying i couldnt get approved for the amount they had in the truck and they can approve me for any other vehicle. So im assuming they either sold it from under me(I PUT $500 DEPOSIT DOWN) or they didnt even approve me at the correct sale price of the vehicle. Never given a reason as to why and they didnt try to help get me in anything else. Im getting my deposit back and going elsewhere!

I was in the market for a newer vehicle and thru word of mouth from a friend I found National Car Mart. I met and dealt with Larry Bauer from the beginning to the end. I was very impressed with the selection of vehicles and with Larrys professionalism. I found a Jeep Grand Cherokee that was low mileage, and very well maintained. Larry made the purchasing of this vehicle very easy for me and I never felt pressured at all during the buying process. Went to this place solely because they answered all of my questions over the phone directly with no hesitation. I referred me to John. When I stepped in everyone was very friendly and as I sat there and talked to them got to know them better. I told them my story and background and they were reasonable with trying to find something that fit ME, and not something that I wouldnt like. I found that they were genuine and they even continued to help me a month after I already purchased my car to make sure everything was still running ok. Its been 3 months now and I still like the choice that I went with. Respectable & friendly operation.
Highly recommend National Car Mart...I bought my SUV in January 2017...it had a dent under the back door hatch that I didnt notice until I got home from picking up the Car... Larry had it fixed the very next day! The staff was so nice and they continued to be friendly even after I had left their offices. I worked with John Sims and Kevin in the finance department. We lived about an hour away so the goal was to get as much paperwork out of the way as possible.John was more than happy to accommodate! He was very easy to work with and was the first salesperson I have encountered that actually stuck to the number I wanted and he said that would be able to get for me.The entire process was seamless and most of it was done before I even visited the dealership, which was very refreshing.I was not upsold or talked down to or taken advantage of. This is my second time purchasing a vehicle through National Car Mart and as always the staff has been great! I was experiencing mechanical issues with my previous vehicle and Shannon helped me to trade in the vehicle and get me into a newer and better vehicle. Of course I was not prepared to make a sudden decision as to getting into a new car, but National Car Mart assured me that they will make it work for me, and they did! This was my very first time buying a car on my own. I went into National CarMart and met Shannon, my salesperson. He could see how nervous I was and helped make my experience easy as can be. I met with Roy, one of their employees, and he really helped me get into a car where I felt safe. Both Shannon and Roy made sure I got a car where I could afford, but still live comfortably. I bought a car from National Car Mart and couldt be happier! Matt Walker was my salesman and he did everything he could to make sure I was satisfied with my car. National Car Mart was able to get a loan even when other places couldnt (even though they claim they approved everybody). I picked up my car on a Saturday and while driving quite a distance the car over heated. I contacted Matt and he called me right back. We discussed options and he got me in for service immediately. The service people were friendly and let me know how things were progressing as my car was repaired. They fixed the problem and I was on my way! I also have to mention Todd, as he helped with our pick-up of the car - I owe him a coffee!My only issue with my experience was the day we picked up the car - one of the other sales people, Shannon, was being extremely unprofessional while talking to a colleague. He kept dropping F-bombs as he spoke to this person. There was a little boy in the showroom (son of another salesman) around the age of 6. I was not impressed with Shannon and his lack of professionalism. That is my reasoning for only 4 stars, otherwise National Car Mart is a 5 star dealership.
I own a 2008 Audi purchased from National Car Mart III. I Love it!I never thought that I would buy a car while shopping online. National Car Mart III has a variety of vehicles. The payment options are easy and the customer service is excellent.My sales person Darin Swiggett became my riding buddy during the test drive. I was made to feel sure that the vehicle I purchased had great value. I have received so many compliments regarding the vehicles great body and the quality of my choice.I definitely recommend National Car Mart II for a great variety of vehicles, great service, and a wonderful driving experience with each purchase. :)
Shannon mc Nelly is one of the BEST salesman in Cleveland he helped us buy a great car and he is very well under pressure. He diservers a pay raise if anything. I would definitely recommend him to any other car buyer. I had one of best experiences at this lot thanks for everything guys
Daughter found a car there were more problems than what the car was worth she asked to be put in a different vehicle found another, they raised the price of the car $5000 and added stuff on the loan she didnt need to get more money from her. She got her money down back but we will never go back there. The salesman wasnt honest the 1st time he opened his mouth till the end. Worst experience ever at a dealership. Buyer beware dont get a car here or get it checked out before make sure theres no problems. The salesman name was Chris, dont trust him at all and dont care about the treatment we got from him either. The cars are junk you shouldnt need to fix any of them of you inspect them to begin with. Fees for insurance you said was mandatory and isnt and is offered by my insurance free of charge that you put on the bill at $400 explain to me how most bank fees are $2000-2500 and the bank fees for your car was almost $6000. Crooks and liars try to steal money from your next customer.

Then I introduced to Shannon McNally the financial management specialist he was extremely professional informative patient and respectful with all my questions and concerns. Was recommended to Larry Bauer here from a family member. Took my car I had at the current time that I owed money on still and he was able to get me out of my old car and into a pretty much brand new car with a nice payment and a low down payment, and had me out the door with my new ride in about an hour. I didnt have a car for over a month, and i was trying to find a car in reasonable price range with the money i had total. Matt helped me find the perfect car exact as my price and was very negotiable with every and new exactly what to do to find the right car. I am gonna recommend him to many people, and i appreciate him for going out of his way to make this all possible.
Went to this place, and dealt with Larry. He was very helpful, and worked hard to try to find us a car, even tho we were in a tough price range, he didnt treat us like an afterthought even tho we were in a low price bracket. We werent able to work out a deal, but he was very patient, and understanding with us.

Not a good experience here , I called and asked if a car was still available and if I could come check it out Frank said sure and then asked if I would be paying cash or financing. I of course said Im just looking to view the vehicle first, however a few minutes later he said the vehicle I was requesting to look at sold so we exchanged information and that was that. Next day he calls and texts me saying that the person who was going to by the vehicle didnt get approved, alright cool I told him Ill be in to check it out in a couple days. He then writes We have A dealer coming to buy it this evening is there anyway you could put a deposit down to secure the vehicle so it cant get sold and are you looking to pay cash or finance at this point I told him Im no longer interested. From the other reviews it looks like they have some good guys here, frank isnt one of them. I most likely would have bought the car too if everything checked out, money hungry joke of a salesman blew the deal..
John Sims is the MOST honest car sales associate Ive ever spoken too. He answered all of my questions and educated me on so much about my situation. He didnt try to feed me any gimmicks or false hopes nor pressure me just to make a sale. I havent purchased a vehicle from this location YET but I will be contacting John once Im ready in the very near future. Thanks John for all of your help and honesty.

Bought a ford f150 there in 2009 . Had no warranty,bought as is . Few days after buying the drive shaft broke . They towed it in at their cost and fixed it free of charge . A few weeks ago went in to buy our daughter a car our salesman was Shannon . He made sure we found the perfect car she wanted and made sure it was affordable. Again no warranty ,bought as is . The car was having some issues , they towed it at their expense and fixed it . We were so happy with the car amd experience . We just went again to buy me a car ,I started the process of buying a car I thought I loved ,when I had a sudden change of heart and decided a wanted a different car . They were more then helpful ,Shannon made sure that he helped in any way he could get me the car I wanted and was happy with . Everyone there is very nice ,helpful and understanding. I would highly recommend anyone looking to buy a nice used car go to national car mart ,if possible have Shannon as your salesman . I am 100% certain I will also buy our 4th car here .
Despite my shaky credit, they were able to get me into a vehicle at payments I CAN ACTUALLY AFFORD. Larry was wonderful in helping me find a vehicle in my range that would be able to haul my goofy dogs around while leaving room for my family. When my 1st choice turned out to have issues, Larry went through every car on the lot to find a suitable (superior!) alternative. I am already recommending National Car Mart to friends and family. Couldnt be happier!
Buying an used car here is very fast and easy. Me and my salesman Shannon discussed options and was out the door in no time! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an used car. The salesman here cut to chase and wont waste your time! After wasting so many time with places like Van Devere, I wonder why cant every other place be like this one?!

Easy to work with and very good prices. Not all the good used cars are at the big new car dealers. Plenty of gems at National Car Mart. Check it out.
Very Easy to Find a Cheap Used Car here, no pressure unlike dealerships to buy. Bought 2 Hondas from them in the past, Friendly Staff and a great Variety Of Cars to Choose from .Also Very Easy to Negotiate down the price, since they have so many cars coming in everyday. They sell cars like groceries here blinding speed lol. Also noted most of the cars here they dont clean/detail so you going to have to clean them yourself. but otherwise then that every single car there is problem free, i have to give it up to their mechanics they sure know what they doing.
I went to go look at an older used BMW they have on the lot. I requested to be able to put a deposit so I could take it for a pre-purchase inspection to a BMW mechanic to tell me what kind of issues it might have so I know what Im getting into. Not only were they rude about it they laughed it off and said absolutely not. I was planning on buying the car to fix it up but I wanted to know what issues it had upfront so I knew what I was getting myself into. This is the second time Ive stopped by and was presented with ignorance. I guess they didnt want my business. And no matter what price point any reputable seller should allow a car to be inspected.
I got a Chevrolet cobalt 2007. Hasnt been a year and every month its a new problem with it. First it was something in the transmission.... then the gas cap broke. No front speakers. Brakes are very noisy. Check engine light comes on every other day. Didnt fix wiring that the previous owner did. Had to get the wiring fixed, now engine light is back on & now I have to pay for the transmission once again. Do not recommend coming here. Very nice people but cheap way of fixing the cars. Very disappointed.

I havent bought a car from a dealers in 20 years because of sales people. But the sales man here was great!!!! He ask what I was looking for and he work very hard to give me EXACTLY what I wanted!!! I bought a Kia Soul 2011 a month ago. I saw the car online, and Ill National Car Mart to learn more about the car. My salesman was Matt Walter, and as a first purchaser I did not know practically anything about cars, and help me make the right decision, and I am absolutely in love with my soul Kia. Matt calls me to know how my experience with auto day later, I come back a week later to make final check. And right now, I have not had any problems with my new car. I will definitely return to National Car Mart to buy any car in the future if I had the chance.
Purchased a Dodge Grand Caravan a little over a year ago. Have had nothing but problems. First off the windshield leaks everytime it rains so whenever you’re driving you get wet on your lap or your seat ends up wet. Then the door track cracked on the passenger rear side making the door unusable. Then the air conditioner decided it was going to work this year, I took it to a mechanic thinking it was an easy fix however it needs the whole system replaced at a cost of $829 that I cannot afford. Then last week the automatic window button on the passenger side broke making the passenger unable to roll up the window. Sad to say this van has had more problems that were not noticed on the test drive. I feel like things were doctored or hidden which makes me very sad because I had traded in my 15 year old van to get something newer and safer only to have things on the newer van slowly Fall Apart. However, when the purchase of this van went through there were no problems noted on the carfax report. I’m not sure if these reports can be fabricated, but I am not a happy customer right now.
I would never ever go to this lot again. To much B/S going on. I come out there the first time see what i want and then tell them that i have a trade, when i was asked about a down payment amount. Then they told me that they had a similar vehicle that would work with the trade. They told me what to bring and i told them that i would be there Monday. Came Mon and wad told oh that was three days ago and we dont have that vehicle and that the deal changed but you never even ran the deal through finance yet. They told me to call them tomorrow and they would let me know. Called them the next day and was told that they were waiting on a bank to approve the deal call back in an hour. I called two hrs later and asked for finance, waited then and someone answered and said service and i said that i asked for finance and the guy said his is finance but you just said you were service. I told him who i was and he asked me who was my salesperson was. I told him and he said how much was i putting down. I told him that i was told that i could told i could use the trade as a down. He says when can you come in and do the paperwork. I told him that it was done yesterday and im not coming all the way out there again on a dry run. I told him that this deal should have been done allready and that i should know what i have to do. Then i discovered that he was just a salesperson playing like hes financing. I told him that he was on some B/S and can i have the manager. He just hung up the phone on me. WOW. Thats how you treat people. Beware dont buy a car from these people.
Bad salesman Shannon is not honest at all! Stumbled all over his own lies over and over and never could give a straight answer. I took my mom in to try to get a car on her own and once he saw I drove a BMW he would only wanted to get me on the loan with her. DIRTY CARS EVEN IN THE SHOW ROOM!!! They will only do an inspection after you buy! Horrible business tacit that people should be aware of.
I enjoyed my experience at the dealership. I felt a great boost of energy the minute I walked in. I was warmly greeted by Shaq and his enthusiasm never died. I would recommend any and everyone to Shaq. The gentlemen in the dealership taught me a few things about different vehicles.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!Test drove a car with a check engine light and dirty oil. Was told that it would be resolved. Bought the car, left it there to get the problems fixed. Was told oil was changed....Wasnt. Told that a spark plug was cracked thats why the check engine light was on. Few days later light back on. Took the car back in. Was told numerous times with the service manager Stephanie that she would call me back....didnt. She never had a straight answer put me on hold every time, because she didnt have answers. Told I needed and expensive timing chain replacement. Check engine light on and car idling very rough. Kept the car 11 days. Was promised at the sale by Barry that it would pass the echeck and that he looked crooked but wasnt. True or False. Spoke with Tom and he told me that they would take care of me and that even though I bought the car is i barley drove it....less than 50 miles. He promised to call me back....DID NOT. I was told by Stephanie that parts were changed by an outside mechanic and that the light was off and that the car was test driven three times. Also that the car would be taken to the echeck. Picked up the car on the 11th day. Drove less than one mile check engine light back on, looked over at e check paper work to see FAILED and also a waiver. Spoke with Tom and was told to call back Monday to speak with Dave and that he practically overheard that they wouldnt fixed the timing chain since it was bought as is. Also that the echeck waiver is good for two years. CROOKED CROOKED CROOKED. They will here from the BBB and Ohio Attorney Generals Office.
I just want to give a special thanks to Larry Bauer for helping me find the exact car that i was looking for and not letting me settle. These guys dupe you by setting the check engine sign off, which you would not know during test drive. It will pop-up once you start driving regularly. By the time you realize that there is a fault in the car, you would have sealed the deal. Once you go back complaining to them, they will wash their hands off saying you should have had it checked by a mechanic. They are not honest people. Especially a guy named Rob who is one of the sales person there. Beware!

Called to look at a used BMW and asked if it was there and if I could see it. I was told it was there so I drove 40 miles on way to see it. When we arrived we where told it was at detail. We had to give a ride to the sales person not only to look at the wrong car. Went back to the dealership to see the one we called on and they could not find it. Missing I was told to come back Monday when it may show up. Not buying a car from them.

They Made me give them the down payment and have been telling me they would have the car I asked for over a month ago, and since they already had the it wasn’t like I could just go somewhere else. Now the day I came up here to get the car, the car is STILL NOT HERE!!!! I’ve been up here for hours and I live almost an hour away! I asked for my money back and he only gave me 3/4 of the money and told me to come back a different day to come get the money! The worst customer service ever! DO NOT COME HERE! They WILL try to play you!
Horrible! I called this morning and talk to a salesman about a Jeep. This afternoon I had another salesman call me saying he missed my call. He was very rude and would hardly let me get a word in. When i finally told him i talk to someone else he hung up on me. No bye or nothing. I will go to another dealer that knows how to treat customers, even if I have to pay more.
Larry is the salesman that helped me. He had a few options for me they just werent my taste. He told me if he couldnt do it he knew someone who could. He referred me to another car place and I got a car that day. He could have been pushy or tried to sell me something I didnt want but he helped me the best way possible!
I inquired about an advertised car five days ago only to be told the vehicle was sold. Today I see it is still advertised on their website. Website updated daily Not when it is used to reel in perspective buyers with false adds. Word of mouth goes a long way and says allot about a seller...
Just bought our 1st vehicle from them today and so happy with the service we received.. Jhamal was our salesman and has been awesome through the whole process today.. we have kept him busy asking him questions and sending us pictures of vehicles over the past 2 weeks until we came up today and finally found a vehicle me and my husband both liked and they worked us a really good deal on it... thank you so much Jhamal for all your help.. we will be back to buy more vehicles from you..
Went here looking for a van to buy. The sales man we talked with didnt even bother to go outside with us. He told us the one van wasnt available and the other we wanted had huge problems with it so they werent showing it (at least they were honest) he pulled up another one on their site that was available and got the keys for us. He told us where it was at on the lot and to go check it out. We went out slipping in the lot since they didnt have any salt down. The van was dirty and rusty with duck tape on the rust and it wouldnt even start. We went back in and the guy didnt even offer to try to jump it for us for a test drive. Needless to say we left and got a van at a different place.
Explained the situation over the phone to sales rep he insisted a million times that I must come in. I was hesitating since I just got a car recently and new the situation when you buy a new car. He continued to insist I have to come in so I gave in and go there to sit there for 30 min for nothing to be told I cant do anything at all since I have a new car.
Horrible Horrible Horrible....they curse at there potential customers. They were all drunk besides one guy. They guy who was suppose to help me told me someone else is gonna help me because hes going back to the bar...which he was late meeting me because he was at the bar ( his exact words). Then the guy helping me told me his not putting me in a car i want because he wont get any commission off of me. I got up and left.
I wouldn’t recommend buying car from this dealership because 3-4 month ago they put a bmw on their website and I had interest on that car and I went to them and checked the car I didn’t even say that I’m going to buy a car I just said I wanted test drive the car and if I like the car I’m going to buy it then I decided not to buy that car but one dude who works at that dealership asked for my license just to make a copy of it but besides making copy of it he messed up my credit score he put hard inquiry on my credit score which messed up my credit score IF YOU DON’T WANT YOUR CREDIT SCORE TO BE MESSED UP DON’T BUY A CAR OR TEST DRIVE THE CAR FROM THEM.
Tom Panlowski is a complete moron he runs my credit with the same company i have a open loan with after i explained to him my problem then tell its only 1x time because youre dumber than a box of rocks doesnt mean everybody else is too maybe you should get some exercise and work off that gut so it doesnt affect your brain so much

2022-08-16I regret trusting this dealerships integrity and efficiency based on the good reviews Ive read. I understand its a high mileage car for a 2010 model, but as a used car dealer they definitely know if its a road worthy vehicle or not. First, I expected them to be transparent and straight forward to me being a buyer from another state. Not driving the car before you purchase gave them the opportunity to be dishonest. Bottomline, George sold me a car that has its check engine light on without any attempt of informing me. Second, I bet they havent even tried running diagnostics to find out whats wrong. I still would take the vehicle and willing to pay extra for the spark plugs getting replaced have they asked. But apparently the problem is way bigger and deeper. Vehicle needs EGR, EGR Valve, EGR Cooler and guess what.. a new CATALYTIC CONVERTER. I cant register the vehicle without these getting replaced. Im hoping they make up with their non transparency. Lastly, to add to the disappointment, they missed on sending the title documents to the same address where they forwarded documents I signed. I had to drive to go and get them from 300 plus miles away to have these important documents.

2022-02-25Bought a SUV for 16k. Not even two weeks into driving it the front ball joint and tie rod needed replaced. The warranty did not cover it of course so 1,000 later here I am. Warranty company would not cover it due to pre existing.

After driving 2 hours to their facility I was advised that the truck has been sold although it was still sitting on their lot. Sale man show no emotion nor consideration towards the fact that I’ve made the 2 hour drive. They get zero stars for conduct and poor management.. would rather spend the 27k else where

2022-08-05I tried to buy a 2014 Honda Odyssey I did all the paperwork thinking I was getting a 14 then they switched it out for a 10 at the end with rust spots leaking muffler and doors didnt even open then tried to short me a hundred bucks when I asked for my deposit back
