Food is average Id rather spend my money on brown street. Organization and customer service and way better grub

Horrible service. The hostess was extremely rude and disrespectful. It took forever to receive my food. When my order was finally finished, it was made incorrectly, and I was still expected to pay for it. The attitude from the staff was reprehensible. I would never return to this poor excuse for a restaurant and urge anyone who values their time and money to not waste either at this place of poor performance.
Came to this place and ordered the salmon dinner....what a joke they gave me a mountain load of rice to cover up the tiny flimsy piece of salmon they gave me....I guess the employees bit off of it before I picked it up...what a rip off! This food is too expensive to be giving people food for an ant instead of hungry people...cooking my own salmon I will not be back
Sea bass dinner should be called a potato dinner with a piece of fish on top. 15 dollars for one regular piece of fish, lots of soggy potatoes, and very bland veggies.
Tried this place last night for the first time, as we received a menu in the mail the other day. Decided to go all in with some family in town, and try out several different options. It did NOT disappoint! Between getting the combo with all the different chicken to try, a bourbon chicken platter, gyro loaded potato, and several sides and desserts, everything was absolutely delicious! Bourbon chicken was spot on, and everything was loaded with toppings and flavor! Cant wait to go back and try other things, and enjoy more bourbon chicken for sure!
I ordered the cheesesteak with a side of collard greens and an order of wings. My cheesesteak was drenched in juice from the greens because it was all in the same box. Don’t do that again put it in separate boxes. Can’t say it was good or not. It went straight to the trash.
First time, ordered off of door dash.. food was good, just needed more bourbon sauce on it. Ordered a second time, and did pick up.. Food was perfect and saucey.. cornbread is good too. Mac n cheese not so much. Cajun rice with the bourbon chicken is the combo to get if you are uncertain.
Worst meal Ive had in a long time. I got a Gyro and asked for no onions (health reasons I cant eat them). They assured us it didnt come with onions. There was onions all through it. Asked for extra sauce and came with no sauce. I asked for extra dressing on my salad and it came with none. We will NOT be going back.

They dont care about food allergens, plus food is not that good. They dont want to exchange or remake food then they should make it right the first time. I would drive out my way for something else.

Never again! “Sweet corn” was corn out of a can with no seasoning. I got the burbon chicken and I’m not sure what made it “burbon” but it was just chicken with no flavor. My husband got “jerk” chicken and I’m not sure what they think is jerk but there was just a little spice to the chicken-not jerk flavor at all. My daughter got the Gyro burrito and after she removed the massive amount of rice she got to taste her “gyro”-none of it taste pleasant. We couldn’t even finish our meal -so disappointed. Not sure how much longer this place is going to stay in business. Horrible-beware.
Horrible experience. Will not be going back. They forgot half my delivery order and when I called back to try and resolve, I kept getting put on hold for 10-20 minutes at a time. Then when I used a different phone to call they picked up right away and asked what I wanted. Then they made me drive to come pick up what they forgot to put in my delivery order! Oh and when they asked for my name, they knew exactly what I was missing in my order without me telling them. And they wouldnt give me a discount on my order for having to pick it up. They told me they could put it on my next order. Not going back!!!
Disappointing everyone says this is better than bourbon street well I beg to differ ! Besides the maggots But I went and ordered rice bourbon chicken .. potato spuds with cheese they gave me my order failed to tell me they are out of freaking rice and cheese and handed me my order without telling me thank god I checked it’s just unpleasant service .. and how are u even out of rice and cheese just not good.. and not to mention took FOREVER TO GET
I believe the place is owned by a Greek Family, yet the food is Chinese, which is a little funny. The family is super friendly and nice and the food is absolutely amazing. I would skip on the Soy Sauce though, as it is incredibly salty. But other than that, no complaints. I love this place.
They have great food but they say they are open till 9pm. They just close early when ever they want. So they are not reliable at all. I tried to go tonight just to pick up some sides cornbread. Already made and ready. I called at about 8:30 and lady said they closed early. Always Call before you go. I was sitting outside already and wasted my time and gas.

1st visit. The gentleman that assisted us was very nice and helpful with our selections. Even offered sample taste of bourbon chicken. I didnt try it due to my meatless preference but my husband tried it and talked about how good and tender it was all evening. He ultimately opted for the salmon with rice and corn along with the chicken sub/fries (eyes bigger than stomach) and raved about all of it. I had a side of the potatoes and they were good. We will be back and I will try more items now that I know their food is delicious. I did get a slice of this strawberry cake that was a huge piece and so moist and fresh! We always complain that trotwood doesnt have a thing to offer so now that this newer place has opened up with good food, please go support so that they dont up and close also.
Really enjoyed the bourbon chicken w rice and Cajun potatoes. My son really enjoyed his meal. If youre tired of fast food, you might as well spend the same amount and have an almost home-cooked meal. Im still full but had to hope on the internet to give a 5 star worthy review.
This is my go to place for bourbon chicken the rice and chicken are delicious I definitely recommend their food and the portions are awesome!!
My daughter got me hip to this place. I drive always from Xenia to get some bourbon chicken and rice and my daughter loves their curry chicken. I would recommend to others. Ill post pictures next time I go.
I ordered food from this place, and for some odd reason they didnt get my order correct. So when I called back to see why, the manager stated that I have to bring the food back in order to replace the mistake they made. Im in Miamisburg and he expected me to drive all the way back to Trotwood to return the food during Covid. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone else

This small restaurant has big flavour and great serving sizes and prices to match. The bourbon chicken is always on point especially with their cajun sides.
There is a new restaurant that opened in Trotwood. Its called Mr. Bourbon Chicken. Its located on Salem Avenue. Of course, I had to give it a try. The area inside is pretty big with a lot of booth seating, but really not much to look at. There is potential. Although the menu is limited, there is variety. There is the bourbon chicken, but also grilled fish, gyro, and shrimp fried rice, just to name a few. It sort of feels as though the menu is a little all over the place, but who am I to judge? I decided to try the bourbon chicken. A large order is $9.99 and comes with two sides. It was a nice size portion. The chicken was tender with a little sweetness from the sauce. Some of the sides were green beans, steamed vegetables, corn, fries, etc. I went with cajun potatoes and cajun rice. I figured the spice from those two items would offset the sweetness from the chicken. I was wrong. I did not get any cajun spice from the potatoes or the rice, though they were fine as well. You can get a bigger kick of spice from the Bourbon Street Grill on Brown Street that also serves bourbon chicken. All in all, its decent for the price, if you are craving bourbon chicken and dont want to go downtown. Side note: I would bypass the desserts. They are store bought.

My first time ordering was today. I ordered Cheesesteak with cajun potatoes and bourbon chicken, cajun rice and cabbage , and sambosa. Wow! Sambosa my new favorite. Everything tasted great. Friendly and helpful.

Very well seasoned bourbon chicken. I had a bourbon chicken sub with fries. Next time I’ll get a different side but that sub was the best I ever had. I’m a sandwhich kind of person so I pay attention to each ingredient lol. I would give 10 stars if I could. Please stay in Trotwood and thrive!

This place is Horrible and plus the girl who took me and my mom’s order didn’t even put our order in and we live 30 minutes away. They had ants crawling on their counter by the food.
You have to try this!! AMAZING FOOD!! I had the eatable bowl out was to die for! The only thing I would recommend is actual plates instead of styrafoam and a bit more customer service. But with that said the food is AMAZING!
The shrimp fried rice was terrible. It had white egg in it. Lima beans green beans. But on a good note. It did have a nice amount of shrimp.

2021-09-01We had our first taste of Mr. Bourbon deliciousness last night... and it was SO GOOD! We tried all the chicken: bourbon, Cajun, & jerk, and we loved them all! The mac & cheese is so creamy, the cornbread is super moist - almost milky, and the Cajun potatoes are Amazing! The staff was very kind & helpful, and the entire experience was just Awesome! We will definitely be back for more yum!

2022-03-28Chaotic ordering in the restaurant. A lot of the folks in line with us ordered online, not sure on what platform. No one was eating in except us to the point they didnt ask if our order was for here or to go. We usually try to prefer a little of everything our first time at a place we might go again to know if we will ever go again but we werent able to that here. They were out of so many items we werent able to order as much as we might have. They were out of ice for drinks. What we did order was good. The portions were large, we took so much home. Ordinarily these would be good things but were not likely to be back.

2021-08-18I was actually referred to this place by a friend. However I didn’t like it at all. My chicken rice and potatoes was dry and I also asked for extra bourbon sauce on top, that I didn’t receive. Definitely not going back. I will be sticking with bourbon street on brown street.

2022-06-16I love bourbon chicken and was excited to try a new place. I ordered online for pickup and when I went in there was a paper that said all chicken now has bones… okay Im thinking some wings or legs…. Well they were thighs and legs, however I’m pretty sure there was an entire left leg in my box starting at the thigh allll the way down to the toenails. I can’t take a pic because if I look at it again I will vomit. I do give this 2 stars because the potatoes, and rice that I tried before I noticed the foot were actually bomb.

2022-05-10Not the best . Not even close to it. The meat was on the bone still. The bone was broken into two pieces. Chicken bones are splintery and splintery pieces of the bone was in the rice and meat. Totally disgusting . Not like when they first opened. It was delicious back then. Nice big chunks of meat over rice.

2022-05-05Since the new take over, the service is slow 🐌. The Bourbon chicken has bones and that was never the case, it was so awful , my paper towel was full of bones and the rice was dry.Very disappointed, l truly wish the original man that was their before this new group of people would come back. I no longer have a desire to eat at this place.

2022-07-02I tried it for the first time yesterday I purchased the gyro and greek fries and the bourbon chicken sandwich side of steam veg. I feel that the bourbon chicken sandwich should of had more of the bourbon sauce because the flavor was bland. I did enjoy the greek fries and the steam veg. 😋. The gyro, I guess that Ive been spoiled with another gyro restaurant near the Dayton mall and these are the reasons that I gave it two stars. You dont have to take my word try it out and give your review.

2020-12-11Hole in the wall spot but the food makes up for it. Talk about bang for your buck. Large portions and they dont hold back on the vital ingredients. Variety of options from apps to rice bowls, amazing subs and desserts. Definitely check them out to eat local and be satisfied after youre done eating.

I recommend the bourbon chicken baked potatoe (pictured below) and fried rice, which they put all kinds of goodies in it from eggs, and mixed vegetables and your choice of chicken, shrimp, and steak, or all! Totally worth the price and they give you a massive amount of food. The baked potatoes are huge and cooked/seasoned perfectly, then they give you the option of pouring their delicious bourbon sauce over the potatoe, which I always opt in, I also get it poured over my rice. I was upset when I first tried them because I felt like I had been missing out before then!
