The driver, David Pierson and his team were very polite and efficient. They took very good care of our property. He not only arrived on time to pick up but also arrived on time, actually early, to deliver. We would definitely use Stevens again and request David Pearson and his team if they are if they available. The office was also very professional, emailing us with valuable information.
Very professional from start to finish. After our original estimate we realized we were downsizing quite a bit and sold/donated much of our furniture and other items. The salesman gladly came back to redo our estimate (which was much lower I might add). The driver called a day or two in advance and was very personable and easy to work with. Our house was emptied and loaded with care and the weight came in under the estimate which gave us more money off which was nice. Our things were delivered on time and safely. I believe the mirror on my wife’s bike and a scratch on the top of an old dresser were the only casualties. No problem though. All in all a great experience. Everything done professionally and under budget.
Stevens was great. Chad, our driver, was particularly easy to work with, responsive and attentive. He even paid attention to our toddler, who loves trucks- he let him sit in the truck cab while the truck was loaded and gave our son cards with trucks on them. He was quick and efficient and I felt our belongings were safe with him and his team.
Sean Bender and his staff of movers were outstanding, professional and a joy to work with. Katie was exceptional in keeping us notified regarding arrival times and the paper tracking of our household items. I was impressed with the positive attitudes of each mover and their willingness to accommodate our various requests. They turned what usually is a stressful time into an enjoyable experience.We have selected four stars rather than five because of the poor communication and pompous attitude of the customer moving coordinator, Laurie Baker. Unfortunately, she failed to provide timely and accurate information on moving costs and destination arrival time.
The 3 gentlemen were efficient and kind. Very personable. I was just disappointed that my wall mounted large jewelry box that they wrapped arrived broken as well as one of my Amish made bar chairs that were new. They wrapped that item as well. A 2 foot tall cement angle statue that was given to me when my husband died was loaded on the truck in Ohio but never came off the truck in Florida. These things were not discovered until they were gone. I did text them to look for the statue as that has a high sentimental value. Otherwise, I was very pleased with the service and they arrived in Florida sooner than expected so that was great! This is the second time I have used Stevens Moving and Storage of Cleveland.
Rodger our driver was exceptional. He was helpful Pleasant and a gentleman with all of my family heirlooms. He made a special trip back to my home to return one item that was overlooked. In this day and age of people not caring I found everyone especially Rodger very professional at Stevens Worldwide Moving
They were great for a move from Ohio to Florida. They picked up in Ohio on a Monday. I had planned on seeing my items early the following week. The delivered Thursday afternoon of the same week. They were professional and good at what they do. Driver stayed in contact with me. Weight of shipment was accurate, as i weighed almost everything i had and knew where i would be, and it corresponds to their actual weight.
The crew I worked with from Ohio to Texas was ABSOLUTELY amazing!!!! So very polite and professional. I was stressing that I did not have everything done completely and they just took over and made it happen. It made my job so much easier! I appreciated getting a call before delivery. The Driver Dave and his crew were AMAZING!!! Thanks a MILLION to that Crew!!!
We experienced an excellent experience; truely a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10! It started with a knowledgeable sales professional, then accurate information updates from operations and perhaps most critical..... a great driver who managed the on site care of our belongings! In addition to all of this, they offered a highly competitive price and an accurate quote. We would absolutely recommend Stevens!
The crew that handled my move was exceptional. From the first contact with the company, the estimates, could not have asked for better. The driver was in contact with me through the journey . Still unpacking but everything has arrived in good condition. Would recommend to anyone.
Great service starting with Joe who came to give us the estimate to Dave and his crew who did the heavy lifting and moved our belongings. And true to their word, when the final weight came in lower than the estimate, they lowered the bill. We paid less. Will call them if I ever move again.
TJ, Jay and Steven were a great team for our move. The move was very smooth from pick up to delivery. None of our belongings were damaged or lost. I would recommend Stevens moving for an interstate move.
I had fabulous movers and they were wonderful but i got COMPLETELY SCREWED over the assessment. It cost me another $471 because the creep who took the eatimate totally messed up!! They are outrageously expensive. There are too many other movers just as good for a lot less money.
Couldn’t be happier. Moved from NY to Ohio and moved everything into storage. Found a house and moved from storage into the house. The guys were great!! Two moves and no headaches. I would recommend them to anyone!!

Thieves! They stole my iPhone during my move and denied any responsibility. I know it was a single employee who took the phone, but the customer service reps were less than helpful. Stay away!
The estimate was way off on the move but the workers were very good and work very hard.

2022-03-17Do not use Stevens for your move! We moved cross country and had Stevens store our belongings for a few months while we were house hunting. When they finally delivered it, many items were damaged, including antiques and large furniture. We figured it was no problem because wed been paying for the full insurance all that time.Then things went south. They forced us to figure out everything that was broken within a week and became unresponsive to emails and calls asking for when items would be repaired or replaced. Several months later, they finally just cut a check, though for less than the repair and replacement value they were supposed to provide.The entire experience was awful and frustrating. They are an underhanded business that is happy to take your money but not do right when they break things.

2021-01-25Couldn’t not of had a worse experience. First off all I hired this company because they advertised they moved safes. I have a rather large safe and needed it relocated. I was quoted $800 to move the safe because the company had a minimum of 4 hours which is understandable. So I decided to hire them to move all my furniture as well to help offset the cost.The salesman assured me the safe would be no issue. I even sent pictures and measurements of where I wanted the safe located into the new house prior to the move, and was again assured no problem.Once moving day came the crew was rude, and angry because they had been uniformed about the safe from their Corporate office and dispatch team. Well the house got loaded up eventually safe included.When the furniture was moved into the new house lots of damage was caused to the home. Damaged drywall and paint everywhere. Also the safe was left in the living room and not located to the previously discussed location In the new home. The crew said that even though they advertise they “specialize” in safe moving, they do not have the proper equipment to allow them to do so.After the crew left I noticed a 65” tv(not exactly a small tv) was missing. I called the corporate office to notify them about the missing TV, the damage to the house, as well as the issues with the safe location.The office contacted the crew who “magically” found my missing TV which was returned eventually. I was instructed to file a claim form for the damage and take pictures to provide which I did. As far as the safe I was told I’m basically screwed and have to figure it out my self(which cost me even more money to hire the proper team).Well almost 45 days after the move I get told that the crew said the damage to the house was already there and therefore my claim was denied. The damage was absolutely caused by this crew and company. The people who we bought the house from are even our new neighbors and can verify the damage was not there.We will be taking other methods now to rectify this situation, including contacting an attorney.Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company.

2019-02-17Ive used Stevens Van Lines for local moves before but this was my first Interstate move from Ohio to Florida. The guys that came to load the truck in Ohio were professional and quick. The driver was very informative and explained what would happen once my stuff left Ohio. Since the driver stays with your belongings he was the one that arrived right on time in Florida to deliver our stuff. I had his cell number and he called and texted with his progress. Everything arrived and there was absolutely no damage. I would definitely recommend Stevens Van Lines for any move, local or interstate!

2018-08-05I had a very positive experience with Stevens Moving with my move from from Cleveland to Philadelphia. I was initially apprehensive about the move but I was pleasantly surprised. The driver (James from Toledo) and his other workers Andy and Luke were very efficient and meticulous with how they packed things up and unloaded. They were on time for the pick-up in Cleveland and even early for the drop off. They were genuinely nice people to work with and it made the experience even better. I would HIGHLY recommend James (and his helpers) for a move in the future.

2018-06-26Our moving experience with Stevens was very good. Final costs actually came in under what they quoted, which almost never happens these days. The pre-move sales assessment was thorough, the packing team did very well as nothing they packed got broken during the move, the in process support was very good through the assignment of a move Coordinator, and the truck driver and local moving team worked very hard and did not cause any damage while unloading and staging our belongings in our new home. I would recommend Stevens.

2018-05-07Working with The Stevens Moving company was a great experience. My wife and I had been living in our home for over 30 years and we had managed to accumulate what seemed like 60 years of stuff but we had the advantage of getting sound advice from our Stevens representative early on in the process which help prepare us for our 8 months of purging. They were very clear and concise as to how the process worked and how our quotation would be calculated. From the information we received, we thought that it would be in our best interest to make our move in off peak season and reduce the amount of stuff that we thought we could not live without. We were contacted by Stevens on a couple of occasions just to make sure we were on task to be ready on moving day. When moving day arrived they were on time, professional, courteous, and very respectful to us and our home. Our satisfaction seemed to be their most important concern. They did a remarkable job from the preparation for loading, loading and unloading of our now 15 years of stuff. We were contacted the day prior to the delivery to confirm the delivery date and to take care of our financial responsibility for our move.Thank you Stevens for making a stressful situation a successful embarking upon a new season of life.

2018-11-02We recently had an excellent relocation experience with Stevens Van Lines! Our crew — led by Gerald G. of Toledo along with Mo (and Tony on the first leg of the trip, the packing of the truck) — went above and beyond the call of duty in every aspect of our interstate move from Ohio to Connecticut. The guys were meticulous in protecting the floors, doors, walls and entrances of both our old home and our new one. They super-wrapped all our furniture, which included several leather pieces, a large, heavy bedroom set, a valuable grandfather clock, and an incredibly heavy & awkward standing safe. We haven’t seen any damage, anywhere. They disassembled then reassembled a queen and king-sized bed with no problems whatsoever. Besides the guys’ professional expertise, they were just the nicest people you’d ever have the pleasure to encounter. When the northeast weather resulted in a one-day delivery delay, Gerald kept us informed via cell phone. When it was time to say goodbye, after a long day’s work by Gerald and Mo, hugs were exchanged(!) as if they were our long-lost cousins! We’d have to give them an A+ rating.
