Moo Moo Express Car Wash - Heath in other cities:
Good location, and the older gentleman who helped process my payment was so friendly and chatty. Prices are reasonable, too, starting at $8 for a low-fat wash (theres an even cheaper option, but not sure what that entails). Wash includes soap, rinse, and dryer, but often thats all you need.
Chuck is one of the retired workers at Moo Moo on SR 79 in Heath. Chuck is a pleasure to work with and he recommended the unlimited car wash which I took advantage of and just upgraded. Jamie, my wife was given the unlimited car wash and we are both VERY HAPPY. Great job from ALL the Moo Moo staff. Thank you!
I’m sick to my stomach, was so happy with the first wash of my car that I purchased the unlimited pass, my third time using the wash and my car came out with multiple scratches on the hood/side/trunk.I am so disappointed and upset and hopeful the damage is resolved by the company. I would not recommend using this if you value the finish of your car.
The attendant put me way to close to the other car for comfort. It kept stopping during the wash (about 4 times). The only thing that I dont like is it does not get my wheel wells. So i have to stop at another carwash and spray them out. I would think for as much as I pay for the pass inwould have to stop and clean my wheel wells. Another car wash i go to has the greeter spray bc of this reason.
I was told by the attendant that my unlimited wash would only last for a month. I told him I didnt want it because I didnt want to deal with canceling it. He said I dont have worry about canceling because he will do that. Well that was a lie and they dont have customer service to call about it.
A trip to MooMoos is always worth it. The cheapest car wash is $5 and the highest price is $18. I usually pay for the $18 aka VIP creme de la creme (dont want to get a membership yet) and its always worth it with the wax coating and wheel washing just to name a few. The wheels stay shined for an entire week maybe even longer depending on where you go. I do landscaping so my car sits outside on a field and collects pollen but Id recommend this car wash any day! *P.S. They give you a free mini goodie bag filled with a dash wiper, a decent sized paper wipe and an air freshener with the $18 wash*
It is truly sad what has happened to this place. I worked there for the past five years, and through its ups and downs, I did love working there. The company has slowly shifted to not caring about its people, from its employees to its customers. When I started they told me their main priority was to keep people coming back. Do anything to improve peoples day, and that our job was making people happy. The past few years I had felt that priority shift to making people wanting to invest in the company happy. It felt like a battle of micromanaging with new protocols being added often, changing our day to day working environment. After a while, it felt like I was working at a completely different company.I worked there for 5 years. I put in my two weeks notice and got fired with 3 days left. I had 78 hours of unused PTO that they did not pay me for. I had rarely if ever called off.I started as a kid in highschool with an afro and the best job around and now I can go make more per hour bagging at Krogers.Maybe I should have grown up sooner, but I really am going to miss everyone I got to see. You all made my day and I hope to see some of you around in town.
Came here to wash my car and the women who was directing traffic was very hostile towards me for the fact that I apparently pulled into the wrong lane and she wanted me to leave. I told her I couldn’t go anywhere due to other vehicles being in front and behind me. This associate began yelling at me and using foul language while my 6 month old son was in the car! Called into the car wash itself and got hung up on as soon as I stated that I was unhappy. Very bad customer service and definitely won’t be back to this car wash! She had no right to scream at me while I was in my vehicle with a child present with such language being used by this women! Do NOT recommend! Not child friendly!
This car wash is absolutely excellent. You really cannot beat the value of the unlimited membership. It is very updated and high tech. I like how quickly a long line moves and then after the car is nice and shiny there are free vacuums outside to finish the details. Highly recommended.
I drive a large lifter diesel Ram 2500 and with the mirrors pulled in I fit with no issues. My truck is a farm truck and as such it gets really dirty and it cleans it as good as I could expect. On smaller cars they look great. And free vacuums. I generally use the wash to knock the dirt off then go home and hand wash.
I pay $28 a.month for a.membership and my last few visits were terrible. The wheel shine only does half the tire and the blow dryers dont blow the water off my bed cover half the time.I dont know whats going on but, if things dont improve I will discontinue my monthly membership..I was very satisfied originally but not so.much lately.
I went here with my sister and she has a membership, so the machine scanned something on her windshield and let us right in. The washing process was thorough but you have to keep moving afterwards or you could cause an accident because the line doesnt stop. Free vacuuming.
There is something about a clean car... or just how I feel in a shiny clean car straight from the car wash. Love this Moo Moo location! Staff is always extremely friendly and will chat with you. I have the monthly unlimited package and I get my money’s worth every month. The free vacuum was awesome!!
Went through the car wash for the first time and loved it! My car was so nice and clean when I came out. I got the whole wash and it was wonderful. The place was clean and the staff were very helpful. I can tell this establishment is ran by great management. I will definitely be coming back and telling everyone I know to use the MooMoo car wash!!
This Moo Moo is my favorite location! The wash does a great job and the vacuums are great quality for being free! I always see staff members outside changing trash cans, cleaning up, or working with customers. It’s awesome to see such great customer service! Keep up the great work out there!
Best car wash Ive been to! They offer great membership programs, give complimentary dash wipes, air freshener and let you use free vacuums! The drive through was very impressive as it actually cleans my car well unlike many other washes Ive been through. It also seems to be quite gentle in my experience. Ive never had bent license plates or any random dents or scratches. My car wash of choice when I dont do it myself!
This car wash is fully automated. It has a lot of scrubbers and gets your car clean. There are plenty of packages available and range from the simple $5 car wash all the way to $35 a month unlimited washes. Free vacuums available after each wash and they have very good suction.
We went in to buy air fresheners to benefit our local TNR non profit for which we volunteer. Joshua L M was extremely helpful in putting the logo out for others to see and answering our questions about how moo moo supports their community non profits. Joshua L M went above and beyond to help us help our organization! He was so kind and so professional! Thank you Joshua!
Love the moo moo car wash. I have the monthly deal and pay $25 a month with unlimited car washes. Only thing that bothers me is the sprayers and the dryer causes the roof of my car to dent inward and then pop out later on but thats my cars fault not the car washes.....
Down from 5 stars...its still the best your going to find around here. My car is 6 months old and until I had no alternative, it never saw the inside of a mechanical carwarsh. Nothing but handwash at the detail place. Been to the Moo Moo 4 or 5 times now and swirls are showing up. Paint and the black plastic trim. I know they carry on about their micro fiber system but I would imagine if the recycled water is dirty...Oh well, its still the best Ive found around here
I have been an unlimited customer with multiple cars for years. Today, apparently I had to renew one of my memberships. The screen for renewal disappeared and Tina wanted me to remove the sticker from my car or waste money by buying a wash. She didn’t care about trying to renew my membership. She was terse and dismissive of me. I was dumbfounded and felt like my business was better not there than there. Her lack of any care or concern was appalling.
Not a good experience. For starters: my passenger side mirror got broken during my visit; if there wasnt going to be enough room the employees working wouldve/shouldve said something. Secondly: there were dirt streaks all over my truck when finished and there were soap suds all over the sides and bed of the truck. Even paid the $15 for the best wash. Do not recommend and will not be returning.
I was very excited to get a new car wash in town, especially one that was just five dollars, however moo moo express has been a huge letdown. I gave it a couple tries and even tried a few different levels of wash. both times it did not rinse off all of the soap. I asked one of the employees about it and they offered to re-run my car through on a cheap wash cycle to rinse it off better. They acknowledge this is a problem especially with the more expensive washes because they use more soap. So it will get your car really clean it just wont rinse it off!
Let me first say moo moo car washes are awesome...never a missed spot or broken license plate guards for me and theyre reasonably priced. Now the bad. This moo does meet this standard based on other reviewers and my experiences. Ive been here twice and both times were a bust. The first time, tried two different vacuum cleaners. They both had weak suction. The next time when I approached the second machine where you select your wash and pay there was a cone in front blocking the way - apparently closed. Backing out would have been very difficult and dangerous because a line of cars had formed in the open lane. I had to beep my horn to get the attention of the attendant to temporarily open the lane so I could leave. I advised him that the cone should have been at the top of the lane not the end. No car wash this day. Likely that I wont ever go back to this location... Very disappointed!
Price were pretty cheap but lacked service and they are always busy ...i ended up following a truck covered in mud and dirt that Im pretty sure stuck to the brushes and gave my car alot of surface scratches. .. I got a premium wash that would normally include undercarriage and wheels only find that one side of my car had not had the tire shine applied... when I went to find someone to address my concerns and issues there was no one present do today automated process...Free Vacuums at the end were very good Plus theres no way for me clean off my floor mats other than dry vacuum
Great place to get my car clean and the people are super nice. One time when I went through I had a lot of bird droppings on my car and the person running the payment area told me if it doesnt all come off the first time I went through to come around again and they would let me go one more time, no charge. Though I didnt need it I appreciate that level of customer service.
Really great place the staff are friendly and helpful. I was nervous at first because i normally wash my truck myself. Ive always been scared of the fact of something being wriped off my truck like a mirror or scratched from running it thru the carwash. I can say my fear is over thank you
When they first opened my car came out with a quality wash that shined. Looked great! I drive a Ford Fusion. I was always HAPPY. I always purchase the 15.00 wash with the exception of once I did a 5.00. The last two times I have been through my tires arent even cleaned and the rims look awful let alone the no tire wall shine. There has been dirt left behind on the outside of the vehicle when the car was not even all that dirty to begin with as I get it washed regularly. It doesnt seem to touch the bugs despite advertisement. It looks like I just rinsed the dust off and looks like I payed for a 5.00 wash if Im lucky. I took pictures to post with this review but there is no way to post them. The vaccuums are wonderful and have great suction. The employees are always pleasant and speak so I gave a 2 for this reason. Before when they first opened I would have given a 5 Star. Im not sure why the last two times the washes have been so awful but in this case, I will be looking for other car wash options as its a waste of my money. Hopefully this review will be taken in consideration for upcoming customers.
Awesome shine on my mini-van after only one wash. Now after many visits it looks as if i painted it in a body-shop. Now i go every day ! The management staff is highly professional and knowledgeable .May God bless your hard-working staff now and in the future. And may your new car wash in Heath continue to grow and prosper in the years to come. I hope the millions of mini-vans on the road stop to check-out the high quality and awesome job that MooMoo car wash will do for them.Any questions see the highly intelligent and hard-working manager Tina.
I came from Ontario, Canada on a road trip , Flint Ridge park was on the trip. I ended up in heath and was intending to go into the Wendy’s and mistakenly ended up in MooMoo’s car wash line up.They tried to get me out , but construction on the driveway prevented me from escaping. The kids running the place were very cheerful. I couldn’t back up because of other customers. They said that’s okay sir , we’ll just run you through for free. I gave the kid $5 anyway. I didn’t need a wash. They are decent, the kids working there are great, I’d hire them all. The facility seemed updated and is very good repair. If you happened to need a car wash, and happen to be in Heath Ohio, go to MooMoo’s👍
In February I signed up for the monthly wash for $15.99. I cancelled it about a week before the subscription was going to be renewed. I got charged for the month of March even though I cancelled. I talked to someone and got a refund and all was good. Until this month I got the $15.99 charge taken out again. I cancelled this already, not once but twice so Im not sure why Im being charged. Had I not looked at my bank statement I wouldnt have known.
I have a Yukon, it never gets the back door clean. But, its better than nothing. The manger did contact me and offered me to come in for another wash. Thank you.I didnt make it in. I dont drive so someone has to be able to take. I didnt feel right taking it back later. Thank you again!
I had a black explorer. Went 2 years only hand washing due to fears of automatic washes tearing up the paint. A co-worker said he takes his black vehicle through with no problems. I took mine through once and it came out covered 100% with micro scratches and swirls. Absolutely mad at myself for trying it, because theres no going back to the way it was. Also left the back hatch covered in dirt. I think the business brings plenty of curb appeal and value to the community, and Im glad to see its doing well for many customers. I would also be a huge fan of the monthly plan, but I highly recommend not chancing it with a black vehicle.
The manager at this location is extremely rude. My wife purchased me an unlimited wash pass for one month. For some reason it was not working properly when I pulled up to the car wash and the attendant had to override the system to let me through. I began pulling into the wash bay when no attendant was present. Big No No, the manager came out yelling and screaming at me to read the sign and wait to be directed. (My fault, I should have read the sign but there was absolutely no reason to yell and scream about it.) Then the manager yelled and screamed at me some more while she directed me into the wash bay, accused me of not actually paying for an unlimited wash pass for one month, (apparently she thought that was the reason for the problem), and tried saying the reason she was unkind was because I was unkind to her first. (All of which is untrue) All I did was ask her not to speak to me the way she did.The Creme de le Creme wash itself is substandard. The soap does not get completely rinsed off your vehicle. Also not all of the vacumes work.Im not going to pay money to be treated like that so I called the corporate office to report the manager and request a refund. I have not heard back and have not received any refund as of yet.I would find another place to spend your money.
I recently took my new car to the Moo Moo in Heath for a 1st car wash. Everything seemed fine until the next morning with sun shining on the car. I was sick to see the scratches over the entire car. These are not swirl marks, they were straight line scratches starting from the nose and around the front and sides. Upon further inspection I noticed the front light lenses and the sun roof were scratched. I filled out a report with them and they seemed concerned. After 2 stops to find out if they were going to do anything about this I finally received a phone call. It was explained to me that their high tech equipment will not damage car finishes and it was insinuated that it happened at the car dealer. I have to disagree.I was offered some free car washes for compensation which was declined. The estimate I have from a body shop to restore the finish to what it was before the car wash is 1 to 1 1/2 days at $45 an hour. Turned out to be a very expensive car wash. They are building a new Moo Moo on 21st St. I will not be taking my cars to that one either. You get what you pay for.
EDIT: Had a couple of issues with my sports car in this wash, Last summer my antenna was broken and made a report. Did not get a call back. Eventually just gave up waiting. Then had a concern more recently where I found grease on my convertible top when I got home after washing car there half hour before. I made another report, but this time I got immediate action from the wash manager (Tina). She was professional and courteous. She reviewed the tapes and showed me my car roof before and after - I saw no grease. Not sure how it got there, but must have been from a big rig on the highway back home I figure. She also said she searched all of the old claims for the broken antenna from last summer but did not find it on file. Im going to assume the kid I handed it to filed it in the circular filing cabinet (trash). Of course I was unable to find my old copy of that report. Overall, happy with the support I got from Tina. Not likely to use this wash again with a vehicle I care about but would run my pickup truck or a beater thru it no problem.
I stopped in to this location, yesterday afternoon after coming off a 283 mile road trip. I got the Low Fat wash and bc of all the road grime on it, the wash didnt touch it (was an oily type grime from the bottom runner to top of doors). However, when employees saw my car in the vacuuming area, they ran me back through with an upgraded wash. Still dirty, Sam, the manager stepped in, inspected the unidentified grime, provided me with a remedy, gave me time to take care of it and, ran me thru, again, with an upgrade on the upgrade to ensure my satisfaction. Happily, third times a charm! My car came out without the greasy grime and to everyones satisfaction. Clean! Way to take care of your customers, Sam!
Fantastic job! Very easy! $5 wash! Cheaper than most for a drive thru! Favorite car wash in town!****Update**** For some reason this time the back of our SUV was untouched in the carwash??? Also, some of the vaccums were not working and I had to move me vehicle. Then the hose popped off??? I really appreciate the free vaccum but it was a huge pain in the @ss today. It was freezing out too. Lol.
Im updating my review after having the monthly pass for a year or so. Ive had some major issues that Ive dealt with and not made an issue of, because $15/month is reasonable, and the owner seems to support charity and local folks. But today was the last straw. Im done with Moo Moo, and canceling all of the passes my family pays for.Last winter I waited in a long line, only for the car wash to stall and malfunction when I was in it, leaving the car entirely soaped. I go back around, wait in line again - and the same thing happens. The second time I go inside to speak with someone, and they tell me I can either go through the line again, or use a towel they handed me the size of a washcloth. It was comical. I had an entirely soaped car with dirt still mixed in that would have ruined my paint job had I wiped it. I asked if they could let me cut the line using the dump lane so I didnt have to sit in it again, and they said no. It took me over two hours and 3 washes to get it finally taken care of that day. I didnt complain to management, because stuff happens, and I dont like to be that person.Today I go to get my car washed, and was there over 45 mins before I got in. It looked like they were having issues with the gate in my line, and the other line completely turned over twice while we had moved two cars. A worker came up to my window and said that I could stay in this lane if I didnt mind waiting a few mins extra, or I could try to merge into the working lane. I suggested to him that since we had already sat there for 30 mins at that point, it would make sense to stop the other line for a bit, and allow a number of cars to cut over from our lane, since the other lane had been waiting probably for an average of 5 mins per car. He laughed and said - Yeah, sure. I just have to tell everyone behind you about the delay. Which he did, and then went somewhere else, leaving all of us to have to individually merge into the other lane ourselves, because at that point the lane was completely not moving. So I finally get up there, and guess what? The alarm went off while my car was getting washed, it malfunctioned, and I was left with soap all over the back side of my car. I went in to talk to the worker, and he was clearly annoyed, because it meant he had to come in to the office (clearly they dont have enough people) and told him what happened. He said - Im assuming you dont want to wait again, so I can give you a towel or refund, which he was pretty much saying as he was moving towards the door, so I didnt even bother. He mentioned theyd been having issues with the gate since 5 am, which is interesting because my dad told me he was there last night, and one of the gates was broken then. So they proceeded to allow cars into a broken lane all morning - makes a ton of sense. I got there at 10, and drove back by around 11:30 after I had run an errand after my wash - and they still hadnt shut the lane down. And there were a bunch of people stuck in it trying to merge over again. To be honest, Ive noticed more and more soap left on my car after washes, and it seems like the quality has been going down the last year. I was still going to keep my pass since it is so cheap, but not after experiencing such poor customer service. One of the workers was complaining to me as I was wiping my car down one day that they hire a bunch of young kids who dont care, and then they dont show up, quit, or get caught giving free washes to all of their friends. Which explains the lack of customer service or problem solving skills. Maybe hire good people and give them a good wage, and pay your good employees more so they stay, so your customers get treated better.I also find it really interesting that on the two occasions I have had to go into the office to speak to the staff about an issue, I get dismissed. My dad, who was there when the gate was malfunctioning last night had an employee go up to his car, profusely apologize, and upgrade his wash. He is treated completely different when he has an issue.
From out of town and was desperate for my car to be cleaned.Lisa helped me with getting me taken care of it took a great deal of worry off my mind. Her staff was just as helpful with suggestions to how I could make the car look a little better. I give straight AAAAs to this place highly recommended. And when I am back in town I will be back!!! thanks for everything.
Good car wash the gets cleaned well. However, the white letters on your tires need a better form of scruber. The tire shine is great but also applies it to the bottom half of your car. If you dont wipe this off befor you leave road dirt will cling quickly. This makes the car look dirty again in just a few miles. The turbo drier is one of the better types of driers I have seen most barely dry at all. This system dries pretty good you will still need to dry a little. The wax used leaves a good shine and will last till water hits it again. Its not a wax that builds up and yellows. If you want an all season wax you will need to apply it your self. The smell of the recycled water smells like sewage. If you dont want to smell that you can turn off the air inside your vehicle and you wont smell it as strong.
Nice place if you want to ruin your Cars clear coat where do u thinkall of dirt on the car in front of you goes?most if not all of tiny micro granules of dirt stick to those flaps that supposelyclean your car they sick to them and swirl tiny scratches all ovet your cars finish Why do think this style of car wash went out of business in late 80 early 90s because people figured out they are bad for your cars finish coat that why TOUCHLESS car washes were born then moo moo brings it back people must have forgotten why they. Went away in the first place
Wont be back, after you raised your prices $3 for all three levels of washes you offer. Your wash system doesnt get my car clean enough to charge people $18 for a car wash. Sorry, Ill go elsewhere and pay 15 to have the interior cleaned too. I dont know where you think you are, but I can tell you from living in this area all my life people complain about certain fast food restaurants being too expensive and costing $12 for a meal. And those places always close due to lack of business. So idk how you think youre going to get enough people to pay $13 for a mid grade car wash, let alone $18 for the high end. Maybe the yuppies in Dublin or New Albany pay that, but youre dealing with mostly blue collar folks and farmers out here. It might be worth the cost if your attendants were also cleaning the inside like other local carwash places do, but paying $18 bucks for a wash that quite frankly always leaves streaks and soap residue on my windows and tires, and then still having to clean the inside myself, is ridiculous.
The lady who yelled instructions to us never told us to put the car in neutral so we went much too fast through the wash and had to back up. A very unfriendly man (manager?) pounded on our window and said we TOLD you to put it in neutral! but I promise you my husband and I both heard every word she said and all she said was no stearing and no braking. Anyway, our car came out covered in soap and the back had not been cleaned at all, no rinse off either. We had to go to another car wash. Massive waste of money. Dont reccomend this place.
Ive used this location maybe 3 times, each time the $10 middle-of-the-road wash option. Whatever is in their soap leaves a horrible residue that has been extremely dangerous when driving at night, especially in the rain. I think ill just stick to a basic coin wash from here on.
I quit going to this car wash because of the damage it caused to my car. Tore of some trim and my front license plate just about got torn off. They have a trash barrel with lots of license plates and all kinds of trim pieces that have been torn off cars. I never did get my trim piece back. I checked a few times but no luck. Wont be back.
Terribly upset that my attennae cover was ripped off of my car today. I have only had for3 weeks. Yes they do warn you, but really on a pretty new car very unexpected. Worse than that my black car that I went over very throughly has multiple chips across top of entire car and new scratches so much that it will require going to body shop for repair. This is first and last time I will ever use this car wash or any like it. Still cant believe damage my car received. Sickening
Barn sized scratch machine. Stay away if you value the finish on your car.Cheap? yepGreen? yepFriendly? yepFree Vac? yepScratches from giant rolling brillo pads filled with dirt and grime from the soccer mom in front of you? yepI love small businesses that prosper and love that Moo Moo takes pride in the community. If youre a driver that just wants to get from A to B and keep your car clean. This is the place for you. If you are a car lover and value the finish on your car. Stay away.
Cracked widshield said they would respond in 48 hours. Took 5 days and said my windshield was already cracked. Well I am not stupid or blind and I am not a liar. But I know that pictures can be altered. Cost me $240.97 Plus for a lousy car wash. Never again for this man😁
Spectacular car wash. If youre from around here, you have oodles of smashed bugs on your car. Between the soap, sprayers and scrubbing clothes; each and every bug is gone. The vacuums are to die for. I didnt know vacuums this strong even existed! And at Moo Moos, they are FREE with the wash! I take my 2 dogs with me, somewhere everyday. One has longer fur for the breed. After vacuuming at Moo Moos, my car mats were just as clean as thr day I bought the car! I love this place and will keep going back.
I go to both heath and the new Newark store sometimes 3x a week as I have a newer car and I am very picky about how it looks I have never had any issues with this business at all its a great place to have your car washed with free vacumn and if you have the monthly pass you save so much plus I get a free rag wipe and air freshener everytime because I purchase the best wash. Thank you

2021-02-20I have a soft spot for soft cloth car wash... I really think the Moo Moo ones are the best. They add entertainment to getting you car washed. The staff is always friendly and the machine does a nice job of cleaning the car. They are reasonable with the basic wash being only $5.00 - a clean car makes you feel better about life...

2022-06-25I have not had a problem yet with Moo Moo. The long lines can be annoying but you just have to have the right timing. I go in the early evening and I have not really had to wait. The employees are all very nice. Trash cans by vacuums are always emptied. I have not been to the one on 21st St. so I cannot speak on that location.
