We have always had a top-notch experience at Montrose Ford especially with Andre in the service department and Matt as the go to Roush technician. We have only ever caught one snag with service and Andre made sure to fix it. Matt has done an exceptional job with our 2008 Roush GT And 2016 Mustang convertible Ecoboost. I want to share my 5+ Star experience with Jessica Bradford at Montrose Ford in Fairlawn. Jessica was able to read me from the first phone call, she understood that I was driving 45 minutes to look at a truck and I didnt like to play the typical dealer games. She had the car ready when my wife and I arrived, she gave us an alternative to consider, had the deal ready for our review and within 90 minutes we drove our new truck home. There were a few follow-up items that required her attention and first thing the next morning she had them addressed. I will always recommend Jessica Bradford and Montrose Ford to anyone considering a Ford.

Worked with Dre in sales and he did a great job. Would definitely work with again! The only problem I have with Montrose Ford is they ONLY do oil changes on Saturday’s, which is the only day I can make it in for repairs outside of oil changes. Also, they don’t provide loaner cars to drive if you have to leave the vehicle for the day or through the night. Other dealerships do this very frequently, so that was surprising. Outside of those two complaints, I had a great experience working with Dre!!
Very pleasant buying experience. I worked with Jessica Bradford to order a new Maverick back in October 2021, and she kept me updated and as soon as the truck arrived she worked with me to trade in my current car for a great price and I was in and out within 2 hours. Easily the best car buying experience Ive had, I never felt pressured to buy any extra packages like extended warranties or service packages. They mentioned them, I told them what I would want, and that was that, no pushing or trying to upsale. And even though the car I was getting was cheap compared toany of the other cars and trucks for sale I didnt feel like I was treated with any less respect or importance. Would recommend to anyone looking for an honest deal on a quality Ford product.
I went up to trade in my 2008 f150 and upgrade to a 2016 f150 Lariat. I was fortunate to work with Mr. Bowtie(Josh Mills). I would highly recommend him as well as their financial team. They went above and beyond to get me in a new truck in a range that fit my budget. I will be going back to Montrose for all of my future purchases.
I ordered my Bronco in 2021. There have been a lot of delays with Ford, but Roz Rozsnaki answered all my questions and kept me up to date with the process. Further a lot of order holders with other dealerships have been hit with surprise markups. Roz and Montrose promised me 8 months ago that wouldnt happen and they kept their word. Jessica in finance patiently answered all of my questions. They met all my expectations.

Dont bother buying a car from Ford its a huge scam. My parents went in told them several times they didnt want any extended warranty. They leave and wonder why there payment is so high. The dealership added a 6,000 dollar charge for a warranty my parents said repeatedly they didnt want. Now 2 weeks later and they are still refusing to remove it and they wont let them return the car. This used to be a good company not any longer.
Please I know you dont know me but if you took the time to check on the reviews on this place that is a good sigh! Please take your business elsewhere, Im warning you this place will RIP you off when your signing blank papers they are filling them out and you will find out once you get home and put a thumb drive into your computer ( they dont hand you a copy of your terms and sales contract because they dont want you to notice till its too late) that you are being over charged billed for things you specifically stated you did not want and billing you for coatings that would be impossible for them to have added after purchasing the car because the car never left your sight!also the agreed upon price will be significantly lower that what you are signing ! No scruples no morals that are your worst nightmare every dirty trick in the book believe me I purchased brand new to avoid being ripped off by shady used car salesmen and if your like me you dont buy a new car often and are probably unaware of the sleazy tactics this place engages in buyer beware! UPDATE after speaking to the attorney general and several attorneys it appears this is the latest scam perpetrated on seniors sleazy car dealers steer you toward Ally financial and Ally financial tells them how to pad the bill and then the sleazy dealer gets his cut.. I had a great experience buying a car at Montrose Ford. The first thing is that I felt very comfortable with sales person named, Chris Evans. He made me feel at home especially when he offered me coffee and had a warm smile to go with it. He went over all of the details professionally, about the car I wanted. Chris sold me this car mainly because he had shown me a great car and he was very patient with me about explaining things I should know, about maintaining it. Chris found me an excellent car in good condition and I hope to keep it that way. Chris is the type of sales person you would hope to meet at every store you walk into and expect to find a wonderful sales person and get a good deal. If I had to buy another car, I would call Montrose Ford in Akron; and will be looking for the same sales person, Chris Evans. Also, everyone that work there; are wonderful, friendly and professional people.I went to Montrose again to trade in my car for a more up to date vehicle. I bought a great car at a reasonable price and to top it all off, I was able to get my favorite sales person, Chris Evans. I felt like this was a lucky day for me. You cant loose when you get three great things happen for you at a car dealership. Oh did I mention that I did get a great cup of coffee. I purchased a certified 2015 Ford F150 XLT Supercrew Cab from this dealership and things changed the moment I signed the deal. Things that were promised to me when I picked up the truck were not done, including no 2 nd key, no owners manual, missing/broken items including NO rear fold down cup holder, NO rear ceiling light, Missing center headrest and missing rubber tailgate bumper just to name a few. The truck was absolutely filthy and was suppose to be detailed upon my arrival due to stains on seats, sticky spills down door panels and cup holders etc.. They said it was detailed although it all looked the same! Nothing had been done as promised. After over a week of no return phone calls or messages from the car salesman, I finally contacted the manager to handle these issues. The missing/broken items were replaced and it was then promised that the truck would be sent to be professionally detailed...I can tell you, that didnt happen. The truck still had sticky stuff and stains when they brought it out. After finally thinking this dealership and service department could be in my past, that was far fetched. Come to find out they sold me a certified truck with NO tailpipe, a completely rusted exhaust system and a muffler with a huge hole coming out the back of it!! Everytime since that day that Ive had to take the truck back to them for them to fix their mistake something else happens! By the way they invoiced the tailpipe under an open recall for the door latch/lock problem and I got my truck back with a couple of dents and my back drivers side window no longer working, I then figured out my back passenger door wasnt even locking after they had performed that recall..another trip back.I think now Ive had it back and forth more than I can count on both hands (my time and my gas). You should see what my door handles look like after this time!! oh, and my interior door panels were missing some of the bolts that hold them on! The dealership doesnt care, you do Not have a friend in Montrose Ford! When I picked up my truck this past Saturday which by the way was left completely unlocked in their parking lot over night with my personal belongings in it..I asked the cashier to make sure the manager called me and they never did. As I expected... Do not get taken advantage of by this dealership. I will be filling a complaint this week with Ford motor Co. , BBB and the Ohio attorney general

Made an oil change appointment for 10 am. It’s 2pm and my car still isn’t done. Said I need to be specific about when I need my car back. No. I’ve been going to Ford dealerships for years and never been an issue, oil change has always been done in 1 hour or less. No point in making an appointment if my car won’t be worked on when the appointment is scheduled. Dave was very rude on the phone too. Will never come back to this location.

I contacted Josh Mills in search of a car to replace mine that had suddenly failed. Josh was incredibly easy to work with and took the time to determine my needs rather than push wants. He was honest an open and spoke directly about everything including how the market is crazy right now and how the car I was looking at buying may not be the best option at this time. He did this without pushing another car, but as someone who was actively engaged in deterring the needs of someone and not just pushing a sale. I am definitely going to keep Joshs contact information as he was simply unreal to work with. It was like talking with a mate about buying a car, and coming up with a plan and never felt like a sales pitch, I felt valued, appreciated and my needs respected.
I purchased a vehicle at Montrose Ford on 10/11 -- and was lucky to have Chris Roz Rozsnaki for my sales rep. Roz was very knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. He answered my questions and addressed my concerns; and explained everything about the vehicle I had picked out. I was working with another sales man Chris who was wonderful we discussed the pricing on this vehicle I had to go get my husband so he could test drive it and see if we wanted to trade in our vehicle already pre approved online. Josh mills took over after getting the credit he brought over the paperwork that stated we would be paying over 8,000 more than what it’s listed for on the website. He said they don’t do the pricing on the website and because they have other dealerships wanting to pay more they are inflating the price and if we want the car it’s the new price not the one we had discussed and online. Be careful it’s a bait and switch I’ve never had been threw a company who won’t honor their own pricing and can make up what ever pricing they want as they go. I would just make sure of the price in writing before you do anything and think about if you really want to be upside down in a loan because that’s not for me I left.
Have been taking my Focus and Escape here for the last 5 years for all repairs and maintenance. My wifes car was due for an oil change, so the appointment was made.Then I get a call suggesting that the vehicle needs pads and rotors. Now, Montrose just replaced pads and rotors to the tune of $500 two years/20k miles ago. The vehicle was in for an oil change/tire rotation 5 months previous and no mention was given of worn pads. When asked if 2yrs/20k is a reasonable expectation for Ford OEM parts, the tech replied we usually see at least 40-50k. Their solution? Pay them $500 to do the job again.Ive been paying Montrose Fords higher prices for years, assuming I was getting top line OEM parts and service, when really I was just getting a higher bill. I was left with a $220 oil change and a vehicle still in need of repair.No one will read this or make an effort to fix it, as you can tell by the copy/paste message for every review. They dont care about customers, just the bottom line. I absolutely will not be back, and you should avoid them too.
I was pleased with the service however, I did not like the extra $5,000 I had to pay to buy the truck I did (due to shortages!) I was in a pinch and had little choice as my car was disabled as I was passing through on a long trip and was on a time constraint. I may take it up with Ford. It seems unethical to me when I think about it and bad business practice. It was nice that I was allowed to leave my car there until I could have it towed to be diagnosed. They would not take my car in as a trade. Another bummer. When youre desperate you become very vulnerable.

It has been years since we have bought a vehicle. We didn’t know what we wanted or even what all was out there. I have an old friend that works at Montrose. I contacted him and he put us in contact with Matt Mills. I will tell you this I’m glad he did. Matt Mills was great. We live an hour away from the dealership. Through many emails and phone calls Matt knew exactly what we’d be interested in. After a week of emails and calls we decided to make the trip one evening after work. Matt had a couple Ford Explorers ready and waiting for us to look at. Once we were there it was like talking to an old friend. Matt was very personable and knew the vehicles inside and out. He was able to explain how everything worked on the vehicle and was great with us on the test drive. Needless to say we fell in love with one and Matt helped us get it to where we needed to be payment wise. Matt and a few others stayed late that night finalizing everything so we could take our Ford Explorer home with us that night. All the way from Covington, LOUISIANA. just bought a 2020 Roush 5.11 from Montrose. Alex Mcgraw was my sales person. Alex was straight upfront and forward when dealing with, answered many questions I had and helped me all the way. They even provided me great value on my trade in. only issue was when they delivered the vehicle, the driver used 87 octane and the vehicle had to go sit at the nearest Roush Ford dealer here to have the gas taken out and flush out the fuel lines. I believe this was an honest mistake made by the driver. All I had to do was call Alex and he took care of everything. Overall Montrose Ford did a great job and seems like they want their customers to be happy with their purchases.. I definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking for a new vehicle.
I bought my first car at Montrose Ford when I was 16 and just returned to buy my F-150. Calvin Jackson was the salesman who sold me the truck and I could not recommend him more highly. Not only was he knowledgeable but he is incredibly personable and made the whole buying experience seamless from start to finish.For the modifications on the truck, I worked with George Chedid and he made this process so easy. He helped talk me through a leveling kit, new wheels, and a window tint. I am so happy with the truck and I definitely will be back to Montrose Ford in the future.
Buyer beware!!! First off , finance lady is very rude and unpleasant. Second they sell vehicle with broken transmissions. Third, the manager Joe doesn’t bother keep his word. Nor does he return phone calls and messages. Just avoid them all together. We bought a used truck from them . Test drive it , it was good. All until we went to leave the lot. There was no reverse. So they told me they don’t have a mechanic shop o fix the problem . So that they would take care for f it through our mechanic. Was alittle skeptical about this. But Joe the manager said he gave his word that they fix this. Guess what today , we got a call saying Joe wasn’t gonna pay. And we called the shop and of course had to leave a message. No call back . So we called them and he went home. What a business!!!

We just purchased a car today 04/20/2021. I just wanted to say what a great experience we had at Montrose Ford. Our salesman name was Matt Mills. What a nice young man, and knew his stuff. I purchased a used truck here. There were limited options available that met my needs.I test drove the truck, asked for the carfax, service records and history. I then went on their website to read about the details of the car, included options and so on. I did not have a lot of time so I did not have the chance to do a thorough inspection or have a mechanic look it over. I was trusting of the dealership and the salesperson (who was very nice). I decided to purchase and then the problems began.1. Rude finance girl.2. Gave me a single key but no key fobs as advertised on the listing.3. No remote with the DVD player.4. No key for the locked hitch pin.When I asked them about this, they said “I guess that they just made a mistake on the website”. They at least bought key fobs for me but made me pay for the programming. The key fobs they gave me were incompatible and needed up purchasing them myself and paying someone to program them.5. 2 weeks later, rear drum brakes basically exploded $2100 repair.6. That same week, a mysterious oil leak appears along with high engine temp and oil pressure issue (losing 4 quarts/week( - $879 repair from the newly replaced oil switch that was installed incorrectly.7. Once I got it back from the repair shop, still having issues with oil temp… leaking coolant. $777 repair.8. I never received anything in the mail regarding my loan and transferring registration. I had to call them numerous times to get the transfer done. I also had to track down who my loan was through and when my payments were due resulting in starting the loan 3 days in default.Moral of the story, don’t trust them when buying a used car, get your own independent inspection.
We brought our vehicle in for service. We called several times to check the status and got the run around. After a week, we were informed that our truck hadn’t even been touched, was left out in the elements and that they were short staffed due to half of the employees having Covid! Not one employee had a mask on. We picked up our truck and WILL NEVER go to Montrose Ford again. If you value your vehicle and your health, you should steer clear as well.
We recently had to replace our Ford Ranger as it had been totaled following a traffic accident. Chris Evans and the rest of the Montrose Ford group immediately started looking for another Ranger for us. One of the reasons we continue to buy Fords from Montrose is the responsiveness of their sales and service departments. Another reason is the vehicles themselves (F-150, Fusion, Explorer); every one we’ve bought from Montrose were excellent quality and reliability. In March this year, we decided to look for a new Explorer. We wanted an Explorer Platinum with a particular exterior/interior color. First we looked online but none appeared to be available within a 100 miles. So I went to Montrose Ford and met with Josh Mills in sales. He was very responsive to our needs and was able to find the exact vehicle we wanted - but at another dealer some distance away. He had the vehicle ready for delivery the next day! Amazing!Definitely recommend seeing Mr. Bow-Tie, Josh Mills, for your next Ford.
Good experience buying my 2013 Yukon, but after a few months of owning it I decided I wanted to sell it. Poor communication from the finance department. I came in on 8-5-2021 to cancel my extended warranty they said between 6-8 weeks for a refund. Waited over 6 weeks and was wondering where my refund is for the extended warranty so I called Easy care around 9-15-21 they said the dealership never cancelled the warranty and it was still active... Around 9-15-2021 I called the dealership and spoke to my original finance person (Michael Patton) he said he received my email and was in the process of doing it. ZERO RESPONSE to my email I sent to him (Common courtesy wouldve been at least a simple reply). Today is 10-7-2021, 9 WEEKS I have been waiting for a refund. I no longer want this vehicle and want to sell it. I am happy I didnt make another purchase with them and decided to make my new purchase else where.
Went to Montrose to trade in a car and buy a new truck. Hands down the best buying experience Ive had. Usually you spend hours at dealerships. They made it easy and painless. Jessica was my sales person and I plan on using her again if I ever purchase a new vehicle. Amazing service and would recommend her and this dealer for anyone.

What an excellent and professional experience! I have been in the market for another vehicle for almost three months and I kept looking and I had a hard time finding a dealership or sales person to connect with. I had made appointments to look at other vehicles elsewhere and I had encountered very disappointing customer service. The sales person we were dealing with prior to coming to Montrose was demeaning and disheartening therefore I walked out; and I am so glad I did. I am now in the vehicle of my dreams (For a mom car lol) ! I absolutely love this vehicle and was so overjoyed that I became emotional when I drove it home. He worked with us in an honest and professional manner. We took it for a test drive and that was the best test drive I have ever had. He made me feel comfortable and showed me all the features the vehicle had. He was knowledgeable within this field and I had great respect for that and his opinion. The patience Roz showed was relieving because we have twin two year old daughters. It is A LOT whenever we go anywhere with them because they are restless and ready to play. Roz was polite and understanding; he even brought them goldfish and water to snack on while we finalized everything. I have already recommended everyone I know in the market for a vehicle to take the drive down there and experience the excellent customer service and selection of this dealership. I actually reached out to a multitude of Ford dealerships in my search for a truck and the Montrose family was absolutely the best. Jessica (MY SALES LADY) was very knowledge about the particular truck that i was looking to purchase and I was particularly impressed with her timely responses to my emails as Im approximately 1000 miles away from this dealer. She was able to provide me with all of the information needed and went out of her way to make sure she met all of my needs. I would definitely do business with this dealer in the future.
I spent a whole day shopping for a car. Not having much luck. Montrose was the last stop. Pulled in met Andre smith. He showed me a car. I took it for a ride. He walked me through the paperwork. Explained everything. He even was very polite to my grand daughter. Who talked his ear off. I would highly recommend him
From the very beginning, Chris (Roz) was very helpful and went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied. He was flexible with arranging an appointment, since we live 4 hours away. Everyone was great, they treated you like you were a person and listened to what you wanted/needed. Pricing is better than anything near me, and the financing was easy, with even better rates. Jess was very patient and made sure we received everything Montrose Ford had promised us. Even when the antenna on the top of the car we bought was lost, she tracked it down to their wash bay and made sure we got it back. Jess goes the extra mile for her customers. I had my first experience at Montrose Ford last month to trade in my lease and I will never visit another dealership in the future! Chris Evans was knowledgeable, helpful and most importantly, did not try to sway me in a different direction from what I came in for which is honestly what I have come to expect when visiting dealerships in the past. My husband and I were in and out within two hours...and yes, that’s signing everything. Jessica was not only able to put me in the car I wanted...with all the right features a, but she was also able to keep my payments the same.We have been going to Montrose Ford for all of our car needs for the last 10-15 years...and service there never ceases to disappoint. We were disappointed to see our original salesman retired, however, Jessica was a good replacement and I was more than happy to work with her. Nobody likes buying a car but this was the best experience I have ever had buying a car. Alex gave a fair price. He made it fast and easy by texting a video walkthrough of the vehicle before I came to the dealership so I didn’t waste my time and Tom was helpful and knowledgeable in the finance office. I never felt pressured and would recommend them to everyone I know.
Dave in service has always taken great care of my vehicles. He’s flexible with scheduling me around my busy schedule and he’s always quick to meet me at my vehicle as soon as I pull in. He’s incredibly efficient and knowledgeable and will tell me accurate repair costs and time frames. My company asks me to the quick stop oil change places for our common maintenance but I choose Montrose ford because I know Dave will handle it correctly.Wish I could recommend him and his team higher than 5 stars.

I walked into Montrose in search of a new Roush truck. I was quickly met by a salesman named Josh Mills. As Josh walked me around the lot he showed professionalism yet was very easy to talk to. He ended up getting me into my dream Roush SC F150! I sent my entire family to this salesman at Montrose and all of them came back with a new car saying, “wow that was easier than expected”.As months went by I got a call from Josh about a 2020 CFTP GT500 they had for sale. Through our conversations he knew it was to spec what I have always wanted. After some back and forth Josh and the team went through going over the finance plan he again got me set at a comfortable monthly payment. With Josh’s help I left that night with my dream Mustang. A day I will never forget.Josh continues to stay in touch with my family and I. Not only to see how we were doing but to make sure we are all still satisfied with our purchases. Visited here with the intentions of just looking around and seeing what they had to offer. Not looking to upgrade from my old civic yet, but wanted to see what options I will have in the future. Recently after an accident that totaled my Edge I came to Montrose and worked with Jessica Bradford to purchase a new Explorer. This was our fifth vehicle purchased from Montrose Ford and all of them were with Jessica. The day that I went to purchase my new vehicle Jessica was on a day off but she happily came in to assist me. She found the Explorer I wanted with all the options I wanted. Even though the vehicle was in New York she was able to get it here the next day. Any future purchases we will always do with her because she is knowledgeable, very friendly, and not at all “pushy” like some salespersons are. Trust me and work with Jessica and you will come away happy and satisfied!!!!

2022-05-06I picked up a new Rousch F150 and due to a bad back Chris Evans my salesman drove the thing a round trip of 7 hours to delivery to me. He rode along on some test drives with us and provided great information about the cars. He was very helpful and never pushy or overwhelming. We were very pleased with our interaction with salesman Andre Smith. He was very courteous and polite and allowed us to take the time needed to make our own decision. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and answered every question we had. It was a pleasure working with Andre and I would recommend him to anyone in the market for a vehicle, including family and friends.

2022-07-12I would like to express my extreme disappointment in how Montrose Ford handled my Bronco order.After patiently waiting 20 months from the initial reservation for my vehicle to come in and then have Montrose Ford “require” that I pay for $1500 worth of vehicle “protection” at the last moment is unfair and unjust. I did not order this option at the time of vehicle ordering and it is not on the final sticker from Ford either. Therefore, I should not be expected or required to purchase this option.As my hard top Bronco is in high demand, Montrose Ford was very purposeful and strategic in sabotaging my order so they could outfit my ordered vehicle with additional options and sell at a higher sticker price.I confirmed with two other dealerships in the area that this practice is “not a thing” and they would never require this of their customers. They both seemed quite embarrassed that another Ford dealership in the area would behave this way or require this option.I will more than likely still place an order for a Bronco when ordering opens in a couple of months for the 2023 models. I will pay a bit more now, but at least I will be purchasing from a dealership that I can trust and is interested in a longer-term relationship than making a quick buck now. I am a patient person. I already waited 20 months. I can wait four to five more.Proceed with caution when working with this dealership.
