Very professional and polite with a positive attitude. Explained everything that was to be accomplished through out the installation of air conditioning and furnace systems. Was especially impressed with the installation of cold air return and the extra time that was taken to minimize the space used. I would recommend one hour heating if asked if I knew anybody who could do this type of work.
Im very appreciative of the service. Im a senior citizen and deeply in need of my air conditioner. Ive used them before. Called to install a new thermostat and look at the hot water tank which stopped working. He was quick and thorough. Informed me that the problem was probably with the plumbing. Quoted me a price on new hot water tank JIC but suggested I have the plumbing looked at first. Didnt want me to waste money replacing the tank if it was indeed just the plumbing. Greatly appreciate the honesty and great service Ive come to expect from this company. Everyone they have sent has been this good a caliber. I will continue calling them for any future needs.
Robert solved our furnace issue last winter and came back today for a tune up. He is so kind and does an amazing job. I would highly recommend this company. The first time we called it was after hours and we came home to no heat. Robert came and fixed the issue. We have young children and it was a very cold night. I will never call another company!

My air conditioning stopped working during one our sloppy hot heatwaves 😮💨I called Mitchell’s to have someone come out and check it.My appointment was scheduled quickly and around my schedule; Saturday morning and NO emergency fee.My technician, Stephen, was fantastic!He called ahead to let me know he was on his way. He arrived within the estimated timeframe.He was clean, he was polite and he got right to work.Stephen diagnose the problem, explained to me the situation, offered options along with estimated cost.Overall the solution wasn’t “cheap”, but it wasn’t as much as I thought it would be. It actually came in a little less than Stephen’s estimate.My experience was great from the receptionist to the technician! Thank you!!!
I am so impressed! I just moved into a new house, and when I first went to turn on my air conditioner, it was only blowing air. Within one day they were able to get out to me and service my air conditioner, tell me exactly what they were doing every step of the way, and I was so impressed with the value! I was very afraid of how much it would cost to have my AC unit worked on, and I was pleasantly surprised! I will be using them for all of my heating and cooling in the future!!
Jordan has been to our home many times since we bought this place in 2014. He is always been very professional, prompt and up front with what is going. Never felt pressured into any services offered, Jordan has always provided several options to fixing the problem at hand. The company is open 24/7 which is another blessing. I would definitely recommend Mitchell’s One Hour for all your heating and cooling needs. Ask for Jordan if possible, you won’t be disappointed.

Mitchells One Hour has the best service team around. I have had 3 or 4 different team members come and do the annual tune up over the past 2 years and they have all been prompt, on time and very knowledgeable about what they are doing. Jeremiah was here today and he was awesome.
Ive been in the same house for nearly 5 years and I had never gotten HVAC maintenance done. I knew I needed to, but I didnt do anything until there was a problem. I had a small pool of water under my furnace. I called Mitchells One Hour based on a friends recommendation and Im glad I did! Brian was the tech they sent. He was super knowledgeable, very friendly, professional, and above all, honest. He didnt try to upsell me, but he did give me all of the options. I ended up opting to sign up for their regular inspections through a monthly plan. I couldnt be more satisfied with the visit today. I urge everyone reading this review to give this company a try for repairs, maintenance, or anything else. What a great experience.
I have been using MOHAC for several years. My husband is a USAF vet and we get a free membership. That gives us 1 free maintenance appointment a year. I will always recommend this company. I pay only $15.95 a month for my Mom to have the membership, I have so far not regretted it! Thank You Mitchells ONE Hour Heating and Cooling!
The technician came on time, wore booties when he stepped into the house which I appreciate a lot. Then he listened to our problems patiently and proceeded to explain a few solutions. He made those changes and explained what we can expect and next steps if expectations do not pan out. I liked the clarity of the interaction, but honestly I am also happy because the issue seems to resolved at this time after the maintenance
Mike is great. Did a great job and went the extra mile when they did not have the parts on the truck to complete the job. Went to Lowes got the part and completed Very happy with the installation.. Waiting to see if the sun room heater works in the fall.. Will update then.
Mitchell’s One Hour HVAC is a great company and has courteous and professional employees. Ryan Rider was our tech that came and performed annual maintenance on our HVAC system. He was extremely nice, professional, and thorough during his service. He was also kind to our dog who is sometimes shy around new people. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone.
Jim the technician was amazing. Your company is fortunate with him. In fact, his task should have been done by the installers so that I could have avoided such a freezing temperature, which was unnecessary. If I could turn back time, I wouldnt order your service at all. I cannot recommend your Mitchells at all.
Called them for a tune up and fixing some issues.They measured some of the systems and pointed out all the possible problems that could potentially happen and did not even try to quote a fix for the real problem. I ended up with a 10+k quote for a whole new system, a lengthy lecture about all their warranties and guarantees, and with my furnace still leaking.After a call to a competing company, around 300 dollars for parts and service my furnace/AC should be good for at least 3 or 4 more years.Beware, if they say your unit is beyond repair, get a second opinion.
I was able to get an appointment quickly and the serviceman was professional and on time. I love the fact that they texted me an introduction that included a picture of the person coming to my house. This true crime addict appreciates that safety element. Highly recommend.
Jake essentially walked on water. He arrived exactly when scheduled. Upon entering the house, he immediately but the blue booties on. He was incredibly polite. He explained everything he was doing and why. He left the furnace room neater than when he first entered. I wish my kids behaved as well as he.
Each repair technician was awesome!! Unfortunately it took some time to figure out what the problem was with our old furnace but the company and technicians were very professional, keeping our satisfaction top priority and made sure it was fixed! Thank you all for being an honorable company.
They’re always incredibly professional, knowledgeable and timely. They installed my current system 20 years ago, have done the maintenance/repairs on it since and just quoted me for a new one. Of course there’s the sticker shock, that comes with anyone, but I trust these guys!
Had a total of 5 techs to install. Got home from work today and they have finished installing the whole system. The installation is beautiful I am extremely happy with the install techs and the above and beyond that they did for me to be sure that I absolutely have a smile on my face.
Recently moved into a condo I bought, HVAC system is around 20 years old. Found a pool of water on the floor by the unit a couple days ago, called Mitchells and they sent a tech over the first thing next morning. The Tech, Paul Lilly, cleared out the drain, replaced my capacitor, and did an excellent job explaining the state of my unit. Fast, professional, and a good deal!
I had Mitchell’s out for one of my estimates he called and asked if he could come earlier than my appointment after he finished a job before my turn I told him yes he was very polite he was very knowledgeable of his products and explained everything very well I liked that about him
I highly recommend Michells One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning Service! We pay monthly to be a part of their members program and it is well worth every penny! Its so nice to have a company you can trust and depend on. Every six months they send a technician out to service our heating and cooling system. Every technician we have ever meet and had work on our system have been wonderful. They are very professional and knowledgeable. We are very happy members!

He was courteous, professional, on time, efficient; he also left everything the way he found it. Awesome job Austin!June 8th 2022, Then Matt came to fix a defect that originated in manufacturing (not Mitchells fault).So glad they caught it before we needed to use our furnace this fall. Matt was also very professional.So glad we chose Mitchells to do this work.June 22nd, 2022 - Ryan came and rechecked the duct cleaning that was previously done, they had missed a few spots. He proceeded to re-do the entire duct cleaning process; plus the missed parts. He was courteous and professional and took the time to explain everything he was re-doing. Thank You Mitchells for taking care of this for us with no hassle or hesitation. We appreciate all you have done.June 27th, 2022- We kept hearing a humming noise that to us sounded kike it was coming from the furnace. Jordan Schmitt came out and of course there was no sound. Later this same day another tech (Jake Zupancic) came out because we were hearing the noise again. Again, no noise while the tech was present. Both men were very courteous and professional. And if I heard the noise again to make a recording on my phone. So I did.June 30th, 2022- Jordan Schmitt came out once again and dutifully listened to my recording. He went downstairs to the furnace where of course, no noise.I came back upstairs and stood by the vent; I could hear it plain as day. So I took off the vent cover from the front of the air return and just like that the noise stopped. It turns out that whoever lived here before I did cut the vent cover to fit the opening and and the top edge of the vent cover blocked the hole about an inch or so and made this humming noise that sounded like it was coming from the furnace.*My point to this whole story is Mitchells One Hour went above and beyond and kept coming back even though they didnt hear the noise I was hearing. They were determined to get this issue resolved for me no matter what. Thank you Mitchells and all the techs that came out to help me resolve this. There is a smile on my face and Im kinda giggling too because it was something so simple. Now we know to check the vents too. 💯 % Satisfied
We had our scheduled air conditioner maintenance during which our poor tech Mark was given wrong filters for system it was hot and humid and Mark ran back to sho p to get correct filter came back and noticed office once again had given him wrong filters he which we of course wanted a years supply but you guys did not have them on truck I really felt for Mark for he never dropped blame on anyone but himself he was very courteous and professional so he informed us that the would reschedule to bring filters so Im gonna reschedule a day from work to complete the filter fiasco Mark needed a signature for something on your phone system which for some reason could not connect online we have no issues with connect ability so you might upgrade your phones you always make us smile and this is first time in all the years we have used your outfit that we ever had something like this happen and we are still customers for life and give mark a raise or buy him and his soon to be new bride a nice dinner thank you from the Gibsons

Ryan Rider did a great job. He was very courteous and informative. He showed and explained everything he did. He even cleaned the outside unit out with a hose. My water supply was far away and i have 2-50 foot hoses and he added his 50 foot hose and it reached. This is the first time anyone from your company has done this. He said this should be done every year. I feel very satisfied that my a/c has been well serviced.
Robert D did a fine job of getting our furnace up and running. He is very professional, efficient, and pleasant. Mitchells is fortunate to have such a fine young man in their employ. On a previous service call, Sully also did a fine job with the furnace repair. Both technicians deserve to be recognized for their commitment to customer service and satisfaction. The ladies in the office are also very polite and friendly.
Ive used Mitchells One Hour for 15 years.: BEST customer service ever! They are highly responsive and well-organized with text message coordination of appointments. Today was a heating system wellness check-up. Logan was obviously competent, thorough and prepared to handle any problem: also very personable and considerate of my household with booties, mask and a thorough vacuum clean-up of the service area.
Everyone is always extremely helpful and friendly. They never mind answering my many questions. They’ve done our routine maintenance for years and we’re more than happy we went with them for our new furnace and a/c earlier this month. In the 17 years we’ve been in our home the back has never been as warm as the front. That furnace came with the house, it wasn’t your install. We always thought because the furnace was at the front the only option we had was to adjust the vents. With our new furnace we’re able to keep our thermostat set 2-3 degrees cooler and the entire house including the back feels warmer. Highly recommended.
I had an interesting experience ( maybe a 2-3 week span of time) going back and forth with my home warranty to get my central air repaired. Greg (who came out initially) and Solomon ( who was able to complete the work once cleared by the home warranty company) were amazing. They were both very professional and knowledgeable about what needed to be done and even gave insights on tasks I may want to think about completing in the near future. As a new home owner I had anxiety and both encounters put me at ease about the situation. They communicated with each other and with me throughout the process, which I really appreciated. The work got done rather quickly once cleared of course, so overall I will not complain. Highly recommend as far as I’m concerned. I thank you both & job well done.
Robert was extremely friendly and professional. He informed me of every option there was, which would be the best route to take and helped me make me choice. I spoke with Robert on Christma.s Eve when my 40+ year old converted oil to gas fan belt broke. He was very kind and helpful, admitting up front that they are not licensed to work on those types of furnaces. He gave me some tips, and then recommended a reliable company that does this type of work. He could have easily taken advantage, set up a house call, and then given me the bad news, but he didnt. Honesty is tough to come by these days. So thank you Robert!!
Andrew arrived on time if not earlier than expected. He did great at helping my husband and I understand why our system wasnt working properly and went through all of our options. Hes very knowledgeable in the field and even pointed out a few electrical issues we werent aware of that will literally save our house. We are excited to have our new system installed on Monday, and will continue to work with Mitchells One Hour.
While 1 hour installed our HVAC system over 10 years ago and have serviced it every year since, this company has gone above and in my opinion beyond to keep the system at optimal condition. Their are no ups or extra charges with these guys, they sell good systems, they take care of em, and they dont take advantage of people.
Rachel was here to evaluate our heat pump and AC unit that is in need of replacement. She measured all rooms, checked vents windows and and number of windows and then discussed what options we had and explained what units they had and the differences between them and also the size of the unit needed to service our house without over working it our under working it. She explained how the units worked and also explained what services they offered and the warranty that would be included. Rachel was very knowledgeable about the whole process and her products and services offered.
This is July and it’s HOT!!!! Marcus and Ryan… an amazing team right here, they came and and got right to work, explained everything that they were doing and why, they were polite, very knowledgeable and were nice young men. They explained to me although my furnace and AC were still working, it would be soon that I’ll have to retire them so I set up an appointment to speak with someone about installing a new AC and furnace… I wouldn’t want to go through anyone else but this company; and it’s honestly because I feel that your employees represent you and Marcus and Ryan did that job superbly. Good job Mitchell One Stop… I’m glad I called you… your men represented you well.
Matt was knowledge and professional professional. He explained everything in detail. He worked with my warranty company to get any benefits I was entitled to. He stayed on the phone with them until everything was resolved.Theyblaid Matt’s done to ensure my carpet and floors were kept clean. All debris was removed.
Initially I was impressed when we had called Mitchell’s One Hour Heating and Cooling, yesterday, 1/19. They were very thorough on the phone as far as inquiring as to what the issue was that we were experiencing, they gathered our contact information, address of where the service was to be happening and asked for preferences as far as when we would prefer to be serviced and what time frame works best for us. At the end of the conversation we had felt confident that our issues were going to be sorted out by these professionals just this next day 1/20 since we were told that our technician would be scheduled to arrive between the hours of 8 and 10a. This morning we receive a call at 7:35a with a scheduled appointment between 8-10a from the office of Mitchell’s from a women who says that they are located in Avon and do not service in Columbia Station..to call Bauer’s One Hour Heating and Cooling then proceeded to give us their contact information. Then as soon as my husband gets off the phone, he gets a text from them saying that his technician was on the way. What a mess honestly and beyond frustrating especially since we were going to make an emergency call last night since the furnace was intermittently shutting off but since we were assured someone could be here first thing in the morning..we opted not to. A mistake that should not have slipped through the cracks of an informed employee.
Tyler Bulloch From Mitchell’s One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning was my technician. Tyler was/is the most thorough technician I have ever had. I have been with Mitchell for over 14 years and all the techs have been knowledgeable, professional, and wonderful but, Tyler stands out as the best so far. It’s nice to know that I can always rely on Mitchell’s 24-hour hour heating and air-conditioning whether it be for an immediate problem or just a seasonal check up. Mitchell’s can be relied upon to arrive within the time slot given but most often they arrive at the beginning of the time-slot. If a scheduled technician is able to make it to your house even before your time-slot or appointment date they will give a courtesy call to let you know and see that you would be available.
Jason and Tyler installed my new furnace and air conditioner on one of the hottest days this year in Cleveland. They were both very professional, knowledgeable,and friendly. They explained everything that they were doing and took care to keep my floors clean. When there was a problem with the first furnace they were able to find me a replacement that same day. I would highly recommend One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning and specifically recommend Jason and Tyler.
We had a new AC unit installed...it took some time but not because of the crew... We have an older home and ran into some issues. Darren worked on it for 2 days and did an amazing job. He went above and beyond what was expected. We want to say thank you to all the guys that worked to get us up and running.Estimate for AC:Mark was the advisor sent out to give us an estimate for a brand new system. He was friendly, professional and took his time explaining all options and answered all our questions. My serviceman was prompt and courteous. Today they came out to check leakage from my AC unit and he unclogged a very huge blockage and was very knowledgeable on the situation and gave me some pointers on what to look for. I always get great service for Mitchells One Hour heating and Air 👍
Daniel came and did the annual AC service check. He was professional, knowledgeable and explained what he checked. He was friendly, and considerate of the virus 19 situation. We have been having Mitchells One Hour do annual service checks for our AC and furnace for at least 15 years. Cory was the serviceman for our annual furnace check. He also did a great job! Add Stephen to the list of great servicemen ! Antonio was our recent serviceman for our annual furnace check and adds his name to the list! We were having trouble with our furnace, we called at noon and they had serviceman here by 3:30. It was cold and they were busy, so I was happy with response. Sullivan has been here before and did a great job fixing the problem! Jacob serviced my AC and water heater. He was friendly, professional an explained what he checked . One Hour has great servicemen!
Brian is very professional and informative. There has been a slight hiccup with my unit and they have been right on top of it.Robert is very hard-working and professional. There has been a confusing problem with my new unit and, combined with the notes from the previous tech, was able to pinpoint it and come up with a solution.Jason is also very professional and friendly. His was a quick check to make sure the repair was performing as it should.Marcus came out again for routine maintenance. As usual he did a great job.Larry was my tech this time. I missed my Fall service visits due to working abroad, but they reminded my calendar of rescheduling via texting. The appointment was easy to set up and was then verified for date and time. They texted when they assigned a Tech- the Tech called shortly after to introduce himself and say how far out he was. Arriving early, Paul listened to what was and was not working, then promptly set about working. After a short diagnostic time, he explained what was going on and laid it all out on table of what needed to be done. We agreed on the correction to be done, and it was finished quickly and then tested. My furnace is up and running like a new unit. Thanks. Thomas

Wonderful experience! Tommy came and took care of everything. Now my furnace is ready for the winter! So friendly and conscientious. Put shoe covers on when coming in. Im a member of the monthly plan. And find its very reassuring that you can get someone for furnace and AC checks at the appropriate times. Highly recommended!!!
They answered when I first called and came out the same day. Other companies had first available 2-4 weeks from now. Customer service was very nice. Greg was the tech that came out. Awesome guy, very respectful of the house. Explained everything as he was doing it. Very thorough and got the job done. I ended up signing up for their service plan. The techs and office staff that work for Mitchells One Hour are always polite and pleasant. They do a great job at meeting and exceeding the customers needs. I have used Mitchells for over 15 years and always satisfied with the work. We had a whole house air conditioning added this month, when they installed it was a cold day. So tech arranged for someone to come back and recheck the new air on a warm day to be sure it was working fine. We scheduled for noon to two today. I got a call from the office saying the tech could come earlier if I wanted them to. He called before arrival and was done and gone before noon. Very polite and thorough. Thank you.
Very happy with the service that Mitchells of Cleveland provided us - routine heating maintenance and replaced a small part. Nathan J. was on time (called to let us know ETA), courteous, and extremely personable. He also was very respectful of our home, putting booties on every time he needed to come upstairs to access the thermostat (and removing them when he was outside or in the basement). He laid out the different service options they had to offer and did not try to upsell us on any products. Also provided us with written documentation on the health of our HVAC system for our records. Look forward to working with them again in the future.

Everyone was extremely pleasant from Ashley who answered the phone and dispatched to Paul and Chris who came over and resolved our HVAC issues. They explained things very well. Pricing was upfront. Invoices break it all down. No miscellaneous fees. The technicians even put everything back the way they found it. My wife and I are very happy and comfortable. Larry was the first HVAC professional that Ive had to my house in 2 years that could actually tell me the issues I was having with my old boiler. He wasnt afraid to take stuff apart and actually DIAGNOSE the problem as opposed to just saying its an old system it needs replacedThanks Larry! Ill be using you for maintenance from now on!
From the time they came to give us an estimate on our new furnace/ac unit a few years ago and still to this day Mitchells One Hour has been fantastic! They came out to fix our central air quicker than expected. Great communication. Moved up our appt. Tech was very knowledgeable and considerate. He covered his boots when in our home. Advised us of Veterans /active duty military discount. He did not waste time diagnosing and fixing our issue! Would definately and will call them again.5/16/22: Matt -technician came out to assess why we had water coming through the ceiling. He was professional the entire time she explained the entire process and was extremely friendly and careful with our animals not getting up into the attic. He kept reassuring us that he would not leave until the problem is fixed and we would definitely have him back! Friendly knowledgeable and fixed our problem with our air conditioning. This is why we keep coming back to them

He was able to solve the problem quickly and had our air conditioner back up and running in a half hour flat and educated me along the way. Robert was professional, courteous and very informative. He explained the work that needed to be done and answered all the questions I had. He was prompt and worked very efficiently. I was also impressed with how easily I was able to reach them on a Sunday and how quickly they came out to my house. I called a few other companies and was only able to reach voicemails. I will definitely use this company again and will recommend it to others.
Robert came exactly on time! He explained everything he was doing and showed me problems and parts. Price was reasonable. We were signing up for the monthly maintenance program in addition to the repairs he was doing and he noticed my Dad’s portrait in his Navy uniform. He told me that his company has a program for veterans and the monthly maintenance program would be free! Wow! What a terrific company and this technician was so polite and knowledgeable. Very knowledgeable about the HVAC system and the issue I was having with the high efficiency furnace. Was authorized for Goodman furnace and AC and had all the needed repair components on the truck. Was very courteous, kept the area clean, had the furnace running in a single visit.
I have been using Mitchells for a few years now and they are always professional in their work. They are honest and never try to add on any parts or extra services like some other HVAC companies I have used. I like that I can trust them and they do a good job! Greg is a great technician that answered all our questions . He figured out what the problem was and took care of it with no extra costs. Mitchells is the best!!
Mitchells looked over our 9-year-old air conditioner for us. We had a new furnace installed in the winter and this service was part of that install as a promotion. There was a minor issue with the AC which was addressed. The technician explained the issue and also what could be done to correct it. He was friendly and efficient and we would certainly go with this company again for our HVAC needs.

Marcus was very professional so Ill start with that. But overall the company told me many years ago that the cost to repair my zone was approximately $300 TO $400 dollars. Now Im being told that I would have to spend upwards of $5,000 for the same repair. Although no one could narrow down a price, I heard all I needed to hear.***UPDATE***I spoke with Kevin, the service manager about 2 weeks ago. He grasped the bull by the horns and got the job done. Unfortunately he was unable to locate the part so I had to find the part myself which I did. But as far as getting a technician out here to make the repairs he was spot-on and I have no complaints. I understand that Kevin is new to this position and obviously an asset to his company.So Larry came out to do the actual repair which was to install a new Zone board. While he was up there he found several other issues that a previous installer did and rather than gouge me for money Larry chose to take pictures and show me everything that was wrong and advise me on how to get the previous installer to repair it at no cost to me. He did a great job and was very professional considering all that me and his company have been through. Im not technically their customer, rather there is a location closer to me that refuses to come out. So the fact that they came out from Avon to do the repairs also says something about their credibility.I dont know if this particular store will keep me as their customer but if they do I will continue to use them. I will admit it was Rocky in the beginning but now that they seem to have had a management turnover they seemed to care more about me as a customer to get the job done.
Over okay with the installation but there are several areas that could’ve been handled better. Sales numerous assumptions on things that I would’ve preferred have been done differently (ie. Thermostat, high efficiency venting). Installation of the actual AC and furnace look good but the crew left damage and some trash on the outside of the house and in our basement. Minor landscaping damage as well without any attempt to fix it. Caulking and weather sealing looks rushed. I would recommend them but encourage you to pay close attention to details during the installation.
Tommy Maggard was a friendly, professional and helpful technician. In addition to regular maintenance he advised on a leaky hot water tank and helped me order and schedule a replacement. This is a great company -- I have always had a great experience with their great technicians and staff. Have used for years and will keep doing so. Thank you!
Antonio was very professional and easy to talk with. He is the second Mitchell’s technician I’ve had out to my house and they always seem knowledgeable and trained extremely well. I would definitely recommend any veterans to check out the membership program they have.
I left a review following my initial visit from One hour heating which was not a good one. The second time around however was a completely different experience for me. I called into the office to let them know that according to the inspector who came to check the new furnace that was installed said that they did not put a tie back on the new furnace. Of course I have no experience or knowledge in what the furnace needed so I was surprised to be finding that out myself. She continued to add that by this one part not being installed that is was not up to code. She said she would place a call into the company, and I also decided to do the same myself. I spoke to Lia who was friendly and told her about the situation and I explained to her that they would have to come back out to install the tie back in order for it to be up to code according to the inspector, and that I shouldnt be charged for something that was supposed to be done the first visit. She wasnt sure about me not being charged and I asked her to verify that before sending out another tech to my home. So, when I did not receive a call back I called again and spoke to another representative who was very friendly and understanding and also apologized for my experience I had with another unfriendly tech the first time my furnace was installed which I thought was very thoughtful and I explained to her about the tie back situation as well and she assured me that I would not be charged for the service and would get a tech out to my home asap. The three techs came to my home today right on time to access what needed to be done. They were all very friendly and polite and I walked them to the area downstairs to see the furnace. The tech told me that they actually did not start making that a requirement for the tie backs to be installed until last year. That his boss had to verify that it was a requirement and upon doing further research he said that they are now expected to do that. So, I was relieved. They took their time to find the appropriate vents to connect to the upstairs unit and installed the tie back. I was very well pleased with the work it looked amazing, also the professionalism, and kindness that was shown towards me this time in my home. I did not get the three techs name but they know who they are and I want to say thank you to them and One hour heating and cooling for handling the situation for me in a timely and professional manner. They did an impeccable job I am truly satisfied with the outcome and the work.
Neil and his crew were professional, polite, hardworking, timely, knowledgeable, cleaned up daily, explained what they were doing daily and before they left, made sure we understood the system. They got this difficult job done in 5 days. Our home is a split which makes the installation a challenge; but they did it. Now we are sitting in a cool.home and we can see out our windows with the window units gone!!! I would highly recommend Mitchells!!!

2022-01-15Mitchell’s came highly recommended by my son who is a regular customer. I was turned off by my initial contact, but a follow up call from the office quickly turned me around. I’m not sure what Katie’s role is, but she is certainly an asset. She was friendly, patient and knowledgeable. I’m so glad she called me back. She set my appointment and gave an estimate of when my tech would arrive.My tech Nathan, called me to verify he was on his way. Once he arrived, he put on booties and rubbed my dog to make her comfortable. He was polite and efficient. He even convinced me to take the service plan.I am truly a happy (and warm) customer. The service was fast and budget friendly - even though it was an unexpected outage on a very cold day.

2022-06-21My ac was not cooling properly. After finding that my systems had serviced us very well..we decided to have them replaced. I am very happy with the new appliances. The crew was prompt, professional and they did a great job. Highly recommend. I also commend Mrs. R. Lewis. She made sure that we know exactly what we were purchasing. We received a great price.

2022-07-23I called them today to say my air conditioning had stopped working. The tech literally showed up at the door within a half-hour. Marcus, a very young looking kid, impressed the hell out of my husband with his knowledge and diagnostic skills. He was very personable and patient. He was in an out of here in under an hour and the AC is back on. It’s gonna be 92 degrees tomorrow so we are very happy. We also got a 15% military discount. He did not try to hard-sell us on the “Club-membership.”Also, they do not charge extra for weekends/ evenings.All that being said, it cost us $351, with the military discount ,to simply have a failed capacitor replaced. That is VERY HIGH per my research on industry standard pricing.We paid that only because we wanted it done NOW.Bottom line: they are not cheap.On the flip side, they came immediately, sent a great tech and we are “cool” again, honestly within 1 hour.

2022-06-07Andrew was very friendly and professional. He took his time inspecting our house to determine what we needed. He wasn’t pushy and made me feel comfortable working with the company.Josh and Xavier the installation guys were on time and worked hard all day. Our house had some weird issues but they stuck through for 13 hours to make sure everything got setup and working.All in all very pleased with the service and the professionalism of everyone. Would definitely recommend this company!

2022-06-22I had scheduled an appointment to have my A/C repaired for Thursday. They had an opening and called to move up my appointment to Wednesday. They sent out a picture and time frame of the technician who was coming which was helpful. When Greg showed up, he was amazing at explaining what he was checking and why it mattered to the performance of the A/C. He was very transparent about pricing for parts which helped me make the best decisions. He also helped me place an appointment for a free estimate for a new unit which i knew we would need. Over all great customer service from Greg. Highly recommend this company.

2022-05-14Larry Norman of Mitchells One Hour did a great job for us. Due to construction, the outside A/C unit had to be moved. Larry placed it in our garage in October. In May, he returned and replaced it back in its original location and reconnected it. His workmanship is first class. He left it shiny like new. It seems to work fine now - but we will know for sure when the heavy A/C season kicks in, in a few weeks. Thanks Larry. Great job.

2022-06-12Neil and his team, from Mitchels One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning, did an outstanding job. They were at our residence on June 7 by 8:30-8:45 am and were out by 2:30 pm. They installed a new furnace, new air conditioning unit ad a new water heater. They worked quickly, efficiently and cleaned up thoroughly before departing. What was interesting was that Neil had overseen our original furnace and air conditioning installation some twenty years ago! We have been more than satisfied with our dealings with Mitchells One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning for over twenty years.! Weve belonged to their maintenance program over the lifetime of our previous heating and cooling units and will continue with our new units into the foreseeable future. If youre going to invest in new equipment, the best way to protect that investment is to become part of their Silver Maintenance Program and enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing that experts in their field know what theyre doing and help the homeowner stay on top of any heating and cooling situations. 2022-01-17Tommy our service technician was amazing! He made the trip out the morning of a winter storm that dropped over a foot of snow. Despite this, he was on-time, friendly and knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the issue with our furnace, made necessary repairs, ran safety diagnostics and had us up and running and warm again in no time.He also provided us with an honest assessment of the condition of our furnace (which happens to be nearing the end of its useful life after 18yrs) and linked us up with a same day appointment for a free onsite quote/estimate for a replacement system.

2022-07-06I realized my central air was not working properly. I called the number on my furnace, and was able to get a same day appointment. The technician was on time and was able to fix my issue which was my thermostat. He also gave me suggestions on getting a better filter and replaced the one I had. He was professional and was done within 1 hour! I will most definitely refer this company to anyone needing a new or updated system.

2022-07-12Larry was very professional and knowledgeable. We had been told by another repair service that we needed a new unit (when I researched - the cost would have probably cost $15,000-$20,000). We decided to get a second opinion. Larry cleaned the unit and it never worked better. We will definitely only be using Mitchell’s One Hour going forward. Well done Larry!!!! Thank You, Tam L.
