Each time I go here, I leave telling myself that I will not go back. I try to support local businesses, but they never seem to care that Ive come in, maybe they just want commercial businesses. They need to realize there are other options that do appreciate customers.
You repaired the lil red headache. Ariens 1028. Runs great ( Thanks ) you should check more into other local area dealers for parts? I was able to find the Idler pully in 15 minutes searching. It was at the dealer in Orrville Ohio.
Great store and service. I have been going there for many years. And have bought equipment and had stuff serviced many time. Needed a air filter from an old craftsman generator. They did not have it but was able to help me find one. I highly recommend this business.

I have dealt with Milks Mower and their employees for 20 years since moving to Amherst. Service is a dying concept- EXCEPT here--- Providing SERVICE is the deciding factor when you purchase equipment that you know will need attention to maintain. They have serviced several different types of lawn mowers, lawn tractors, weed trimmers, blowers and snowblowers for me. Unlike so many businesss, they return phone calls promptly, and leave voice messages so I dont have to return the call to determine why they called. They update me whenever a part takes longer than expected to arrive for service or replacement. They take the time I need to fully explain why something isnt working, and ways to prevent equipment failures. They advise the best ways to maintain equipment, and advise when something is on its last leg but- workable. Ive never been pressured to purchase something when a fix is possible. A great business, with employees like this, is next to impossible to find in this day and age. I highly recommend them for any small engine, landscaping, or home maintenance needs.
If you want great customer services go see brandon and his staff very helpful.. The company i work for uses them for top quality top soil,mulch, chainsaws trimmers ECT!! Even when mowers break down there our go to shop, too get our mower back up and running... Just all around great company.

I’m from Connecticut. I was visiting family in Ohio . I stop by Milks Power Equipment and spoke with Brandon Milks. He was very attentive to my landscaping needs, extremely knowledgeable of the equipment they sell and even took the time to inform me of the offers Scag and Toro has for Military and Law Enforcement I would definitely purchase equipment from them and recommend them to friends and family. The customer service there is top notch.
Brandon was very informative, helpful and honest... I purchased a Gravely HD 52” ZT mower at a good price, and I am extremely happy with my purchase. Brandon also took my older Garden Tractor and sold it within a week for me!!! I took my snow blower to Milks mowers & they told me $180 to fix my snow blower & when I picked my snow blower up it cost almost $300. All they do is RIP people off. I will never let them fix any of my lawn mowers or my snow blower. All they do is lie to people.

I have a ten-year-old Toro 2-cycle snowblower,dropped it off Friday morning it was done by Saturday morning, they did excellent work quick turnaround appreciate you guys taking me in right before the storm hit and get my blower done in time so I could tackle this snow, great place to do business
Always has the right equipment. Well that was a year or so ago. Went in to get a part and the person behind the desk was so lazy that he told me that we dont have anything like that and should go to tractor supply. Now trying to support the local people but went home and ordered the part on Amazon and Milks has lost a customer.

I bought a new Stihl chain saw. After a couple tanks of gas it started running poorly. I took it in for warranty service. Ah geeze, bad oil, wrong gas, $100 bucks later it was fixed, supposedly.Fresh out, back to the wood pile something new, blade is burning the wood Im cutting, and the motor isnt running as strong. Blades stretch out b/4 one tank of gas, slip off the clutch and, Oh, by the way I need a new blade.After some on line research and a couple of calls to Stihl, I re-adjusted the oilier screw to a open position and re gaped my spark plug from .014 up to .020.Also, I dont even take my chains back for sharpening, due to half the tooth being ground off. I now sharpen my own chains.Stihl told me they didnt approve of such tactics for making money, but it happens.
Im very glad that they are expanding the place and they were very polite and generous.

2022-02-02My recent experience with Milks could not have been better. I tried to get my snow thrower in for service, Brandon told me that they were at least seven days out from having my thrower fixed and returned to me. Well I would not have gotten it back before the storm, so I went up to Brandon and he walk me through what a potential problem could be and had all the needed parts for me to fix it. I am not a very mechanically inclined person. Brandon was patient professional and kind walking me through the process and ultimately getting my snowthrower started. Huge shout out to this company for going well above and beyond what anybody could expect.

2020-09-01Bought a Toro lawn mower at Milks this morning. Wonderful experience! Very knowledgeable and helpful. When you buy it there they put it together, add the proper oil and gas and also deliver! That is amazing! Then the same day my weed Wacker stopped working so I went back and bought a Stihl weed wacker. He got it all together, showed me how to work it. Went home and used it. I love it! Family owned business. They service the products right there. Quality products! Very happy! Will shop there again and recommend them to others 😄

2019-04-26Amazing customer service! Very friendly and knowledgeable. From the start when we walked in the salesman was already working with another customer. He stepped away and said he would be right there. He went back to the customer, finished up and then came to help us. He apologized for the wait but it was literally one minute. No problem at all. He was then certainly try knowledgeable and knew what he was talking about The building was clean. Everything from the initial walk in to the delivery drop off was A+! Anyone looking for this type of equipment needs to go here. Was blown away on how they put the customer first and did it with respect. Thank you for everything. Will definitely be back and will definitely recommend
