First time patient and I really enjoyed my experience! Beautiful office. Really liked hygienist Tracy and Dr. Roemisch as well. Glad to have found a new awesome dentist office just 5 minutes from my house!
I chose this dentist because of the positive reviews and I’m glad I did. They are prompt pleasant and honest. They don’t pressure you into doing anything but will map you out a plan and leave the timing up to you. I went a while without seeing a dentist and was very nervous on my first visit. But everyone was so nice and easy without any judgement. If you’re looking for a good dentist look no further. They will take care of you. From the front desk staff to the hygienist to dentist. Excellent service and quality.
These folks are so kind! They do super quality work and truly care about what is best for you! I have had a lot of dental work in the past 2 ish years and they have been spot on for cleanings, fillings, and implants! Highly recommend!
My dental hygienist did a very thorough job. I felt that she was meticulous with ensuring each tooth was addressed. My teeth looked white and clean as though I used several crest strips on them!
The girls at the office were terrific. The minute we walk in the door until we leave Amy makes you feel welcome. It is always nice to walk in and see her smiling. Lisa is also so sweet and friendly, getting our teeth cleaned by her does not feel like something we dread to do. Dr Roemisch is always so friendly and professional he comes in and talks and laughs with us he is just a down to earth guy. They make us feel like family not patients. This office is not only knowledgeable and professional they are a welcome part of our medical life. We tell everyone we know to go see them for their dental needs.

I found this practice after being very dissatisfied with my previous dentist. I transferred here from Columbus where I had the same dentist for 21 years. My smile has always been a priority and I love that it is also a priority for this practice. The dentist was so professional but friendly and gentle. Dina and Tracey, I can’t say enough about you. The dental hygienist we had, Tracy, was super friendly. She talked my daughter and me through what she was doing from start to finish. Dr. Roemisch was very kind and gentle. He explained what he was talking about so we could understand and worked out a care plan that would be easy to follow. I would highly recommend going there if you want a friendly, easy experience at the dentist!
Everyone is super nice and very helpful. After checking in for your appointment you won’t be in the waiting for long. They always manage to get the job done fast and with great results. You can tell they are compassionate and happy to be there helping. I used to hate going to the dentist after going to the smile center I now look forward to my appointments every 6 months.
I highly recommend this dentist if you have any kind of dental anxiety. Years ago I had a not so great experience with a dentist and was referred to Dr Roemisch. The moment I met the staff I knew I had made the right decision. When it came time to find a new dentist for my children, it was a no brained to bring them here as well. He is great with all of us and it’s easy to schedule. They really make sure you are taken care of in all aspects of care! We moved almost an hour away and we still drive to this office because of how great they are!
Will never go to any other dentist. They are the greatest. You dont feel anything and are the nicest people ever.
Absolutely Fantastic! I needed an emergency extraction and without hesitation they were able to fit me in. Such a wonderful and compassionate staff. Also, if you are getting a extraction I highly recommend going ahead and getting your blood drawn and having them plug it with your own plasma, as this speeds the healing time and reduces the possibility of getting dry socket. Its quick and easy and Dr. Roemisch is very good at drawing blood, I barely felt it. So if your in need of a dentist and staff who cares, look no further!!

While I might be a bit prejudiced because Dr. Roemisch is my son. The entire staff is friendly, talented and professional. While a visit to the dentist usually is not considered a pleasant experience. However, I think you’ll find reason to smile after visiting not only because of receiving the highest quality dental work but because of the friendly and professional staff and atmosphere.

Between COVID and other life issues I had been babying a fractured tooth for some time. When the time was right I made an appointment for an overdue check up with Dr. Roemisch. We discussed treatment for the tooth and decided a crown was the best option to pursue. The crown prep was pain free, and the crown was made right in the office while I was there, no dealing with a temporary crown for a couple of weeks while I waited for a lab to make my crown. I could not be more satisfied with the outcome of my visit. The crown fits perfectly, looks good and Im able to chew on the right side of my mouth again. No worries about fracturing the tooth more and perhaps facing an extraction. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and made me feel relaxed. I would recommend dental treatment or routine dental care with Dr. Roemisch to any of my friends and family.

I was in extreme pain had a tooth removed on a Friday and it was actually another tooth causing the pain. I called to see availability that your office had and as a new patient they got me in the next day. I ended up with a root canal and crown that day and my pain is gone! The doctor and staff are all very nice and helpful! I appreciate all of you and your help!!!

I have been looking for a new dentist and saw the high star rating on google so I decided to make a new patient appointment. I absolutely cannot say enough good things about this office, Tracey was my dental hygienist and she was very thorough, gentle and caring but also extremely knowledgeable. The doctor was also very tentative and really listened when I talked.. he was even able to do my fillings same day! But at no point in was I pushed or rushed into anything, they actually had Amy come and review the estimate with me before I made a decision.Overall, this was the best visit I have ever had at a dentists office and I HIGHLY encourage anyone who is looking to give this place a try.
Dr. Roemisch is the only dentist I’ve seen that makes me feel comfortable during visits. He never pushes anything on me and allows me to fully understand his recommendations before anything is scheduled.Lisa was my hygienist and has made each of my visits a pleasure. She is excellent at her job but also welcomes you like you’ve know her for years.This is a great office from the front desk to the dentist’s chair.
I’ve just found my new dentist.😃. I needed a replacement crown 😢. When I called Dr Roemisch’s office they not only worked me in the same day (and I was a new patient) but also fitted, made and installed my new crown that afternoon. Amazing! The whole process was well orchestrated and painless. Great job! Great dentist! And the entire staff was caring and helpful.

My husband went to Middletown Smile Center and said it was the best experience he’s had at a dentist office. He had major dental work without any pain and the staff were friendly and caring. I have been a patient at the Middletown Smile Center for over 15+ years and I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience. The staff is amazing. I have seen Dr. Roemisch 3 times so far, since he took over for Dr. Phillips, and he has always been very kind and caring. He is very knowledgeable and up to date with current dental procedures etc that are available and him and the staff always take the time to explain options/treatments that are available for any dental issues that arise. I would not hesitate to recommend him and his practice to my family and friends. Dr. Roemisch and the Staff are an A+++ practice

I have been visiting this dentist for over a year now. They do an excellent job of cleaning my teeth and making sure everything is going well. I especially like the warm welcome I get when I go. Unlike many other medical related things, this place is personable and the people there dont make you feel like another person they have to see just to meet a quota.
Everyone here was wonderful! From my check in to leaving the office, it was the best experience at a dentists office. I hadnt been to a dentist in over a decade for a complete cleaning and I was super nervous. I ended up needing an intense cleaning and getting 5 cavities! They checked in on me every step and made sure I was comfortable and ready for what was next. At other offices they made me feel at blame/ashamed if my teeth werent up to par, but here not at all. They just wanted to the best job and keep me out of pain. I will definately be going back and recommend them to everyone. I even gave my coworker their number when I got back to work. Thanks so much!!!
My family and I started coming to Middletown Smile on 2017 and saw Dr. Phillips. Absolutely loved the office. When Dr. Roemisch took over the practice, I was a little hesitant because of past experiences with new doctors! I couldn’t and wouldn’t go anywhere else to have my dental work completed now. Dr. Roemisch has been amazing and I appreciate everything that he has done for me and my family. The office staff is one of a kind and love everything that they do for their patients. Love this dental practice!! Nobody cleans my teeth like Lisa!!! I drive an hour just to have her clean my teeth!! I also really like Dr Roemisch!! I learned about Dr. Roemisch from a flyer I received in the mail. Perfect timing, because I was looking for a new dentist. Ive had a dental cleaning, a dental crown placed, and a filling done so far and I am very happy with the results. Every staff member I encountered was so nice, knowledgeable, helpful, and good at their job. I never had to wait a long time to be seen. Im so happy I found this dentist office and feel at ease knowing I finally have a dentist I can trust!

I can’t believe I’m saying this but...best dental experience ever. Yesterday was my first visit with this dentist and his office. I was filled with dread since I’m a big baby when it comes to going to any dentist. My anxiety went out the window right away. The dentist and the rest of the staff couldn’t have been nicer. I hadn’t been to a dentist in over 10 years. My teeth began bothering me, so I made an appointment because my entire family goes to this dentist office.I had A LOT of fear/anxiety of having dental work done. I am absolutely petrified of needles and had NO idea what to expect as far as a drill going in to my mouth. I rescheduled my appointment a few times but finally decided I couldn’t take the pain anymore and went. It was NOTHING like what I had feared!The dental hygienist, Lisa, is VERY experienced at doing her position for over 30 years, which brought ease to me as well as engaging in friendly conversation (as much as I could with my mouth open). That really helped ease my anxiety. There’s not a doubt in my mind she is very good at her job!The dentist, David Roemisch, is very polite and respectful in explaining everything he does and will also make you feel at ease. I had my first cavity and I never even felt a thing. He ensured I was comfortable with my “bite” after the filling, instead of just sending me on my way.The practice is very clean, the staff is knowledgeable and very polite! I would recommend this dentist office to anyone!If you’re like me, with fear/anxiety from getting dental work done....THIS IS the office to go to! I promise!

Just make an appointment & go. Nothing to complain about here. I liked how calm & peaceful it is in the office. The relaxed easy feeling changes your attitude. Then the staff is friendly & helpful. Cleanings, filings or whatever seem to just happen quickly. On your way in record time. Since going here I have started to change the way I feel about visiting the dentist. Still cant say I look forward to it. But, I do not dread it either.
The office was clean. The receptionist was kind. The dental hygienist did an excellent job with cleaning my teeth. Dr. Roemisch was professional and efficient. When he told me I had a small cavity he said he’d give me an estimate if I’d like to have it filled. No pressure. Highly recommend!

I have had a few bad dental experiences so I was a little nervous for my appointment to have a cavity filled last week. It turned out to be totally painless and easy! Dr. Roemisch was fast and gentle. He kept me distracted and I was finished before I realized it! Anesthetic was perfect. No soreness or anything afterward! While I hope not to have a cavity again, I know that I wont need to be afraid next time. :)

Ive been going here for years and have always had as about as pleasant as an experience you can have at a dentist office. staff is very polite and knowledgeable. Never had to wait past my scheduled appointment time for service. I highly recommend this office for all your dental needs.

I usually tend to go towards the “older” dentist to comfort my mind with experience but David is great. He uses new technologies and trade skills to bring a new fresh/easy visit to the dentist. Angel is also one of a kind! She is one of the nicest Dental Assistants I have ever met. Her personality and kindness stands above the rest!! I would recommend free popcorn in the waiting room. Just an idea... :)
As a newer resident to the Middletown area, I needed to find a new dentist. I found Dr. Roemischs office on Google & thought Id give them a try. 2 crowns and 2 cleanings later, I couldnt ask for a more thorough, friendly and welcoming staff! I havent waited more than 5 minutes in the waiting room. Highly recommended.

Ive been to many dentists due to frequent relocations. After purchasing our Middletown home we searched for a local dentist with great reviews. I have never been happier with a dentist. I am so glad we found this dental office. Everyone in the office is so polite and accommodating. Ive had a lot of dental work done and have always had a slight dental phobia but not here, I felt perfectly at ease and well taken care of. They did an amazing job.
This place is amazing! I’ve had a rational fear of dentists all my life and I’m completely comfortable there! During my cavity fillings, the doctors stopped whenever I felt uncomfortable and was in pain and was always asking me if I was okay and if I needed something. I love this place, I love everyone in it. Couldn’t have a better dentist office to go to!
This was by far the best dentist visit ever! Lisa did an outstanding and thorough job of cleaning my 34 year old full lower implant. Dr. Roemisch, being young and well trained in modern dentistry, had never seen one of the ancient implants so was very interested in getting a dental history lesson. Dr. Roemisch and his staff are efficient and personable. If you are in need of dental care. I highly recommend Dr. Roemisch and his excellent staff.

Always a great experience at Middletown Smile Center! The staff is super friendly, helpful and flexible. I don’t even feel them working in my mouth while they are cleaning my teeth. My kids love to go as well and fight over who gets to go first (ages 4 and 3).
Having to find a new dentist is one of the worst things about moving. I’m so happy we found this group. They were so professional, took their time, answered all our questions and just made us feel so comfortable. I recommend them highly for anyone who is looking for a dentist.
I normally hate the dentist’s office experience, but that isn’t the case here. I’m always welcomed with big smiles and cared for with the utmost consideration and kindness. One suggestion I might offer is more reminders about appointments, rather than the one hour before reminder being used now. Perhaps a week reminder, then the one hour reminder? Overall, always a wonderful experience.
Very professional office, clean and modern with care taken to protect patients during the pandemic. Friendly and helpful including the support staff, dental technician and dentist. State of the art electronic appointment reminders and calendar updates. I am happy to have found this treasure.
I’ve always had good experiences with Dr. Phillips and staff. Now that he’s retired, Dr. Roemisch is doing a great job! He and Angel removed an ancient filling that was coming apart and leaking. Thanks to the doctor’s skill and awesome tech equipment, it turned out I needed less work than we thought. Just as painful for me (lol!) but not so much for my wallet! Cleanings with Lisa are a must, as they are just as entertaining as effective! ❤️ this practice. Go there.
Went in for my first cleaning in YEARS so it was a bit of an uncomfortable experience but the very sweet lady who cleaned my teeth was very professional and helped me tough it through which was very nice. Everybody there seemed kind and quite competent. Would aboaolutely recommend.
We love this dentist. Everyone is so friendly and nice. My girls who are 6 and 3 have also been going here and they are wonderful with them. So patient and kind. I definitely recommend them.
New dentist, same great place. The staff including Angel, Lisa, and everyone at this office makes you feel like family even if its been awhile. I hate the dentist but they make it comfortable and take the time needed to put you at ease.
After seeing Dr Roemisch my son was referred to a local pediatric dentist for some in-depth dental work. We went to the pediatric dentist and I was less than pleased with the office but maybe this was due to the superior care and concern I was used to receiving at Middletown smile center. We felt like a number when it came to the pediatric office. I cannot tell you enough how much that pediatric dental visit reinforced how glad I am this office can see not only my husband and I but also my kids for our regular visits. Your office is less hectic, more welcoming, & provides an overall better care experience to the patients. From the 1:1 care, the calming environment, all the way down to the main desk service personelle when you first enter the door! I had broken a tooth last night. I called The Smile Center 10 minutes prior to opening the next day and they answered! They were able to get me in shortly after they opened. They were able to cap my tooth, all in house with a permanent cap! Great place for all your dental needs!

My family and I have been going here for years with Dr. Phillips. I had my first checkup with Dr. Roemisch back in February. Two weeks ago, I broke a tooth and had to get a crown. I was highly impressed with his work. From making my appt. with Amy, to my cleaning with Lisa, and now having work done with Dr. Roemisch and Angel, I would highly recommend them.
Once again, an excellent experience! My appointment was on time (even though is was late in the afternoon). The crowns fit perfectly....and the dentist and his assistant took great care to make sure everything was perfect.
Its always a great experience, I never had any issues with my crowns. The staff are amazing, very accommodating and super friendly. Im glad we chose them to be our Family dentist.
Dr. Roemisch and his staff are wonderful. Always very gentle and professional. I recently had a bicycle accident with trauma to my front teeth and I know I am in good hands as I recover. I cant imagine going anywhere else for dental care.
Due to conflicts with another appointment o was having trouble making it on time. I was communicating in advance as much as possible about running late. The office was very understanding and helpful. When it was all said & done I was still able to keep my appointment, although late, and I was treated no differently when I arrived . Friendly professional service as always! So, left a review a year or so ago. This won’t let me leave another, more current review now... so I will edit my old one.This was just last week October 16,2020.I am not a fan of going to the dentist. Sadly, I have a lot of experience at this as I have more than a few crowns. Well, today that changed. I got a new crown. This was by far the easiest, most painless, fastest and best looking crown I have ever received. In just two hours my crown was finished. There were no molds or impressions and no temporary. They use computer imaging and make the crown in-house. Thank you Dr. Roemisch, you and your team are awesome!!! Oh and did I mention that the new crown needed no adjustments? Just amazing!Next comment was from last year.I had a wonderful visit today! The staff is caring and Dr Romisch is easy going. I’m very happy about my decision to come here.

Middletown Smile Center is the best dentist I’ve ever been to! I was referred by my husbands family who has been going here for many years! All who work there are kind and efficient! Highlight recommend this office!
Ive been going to Middletown smile center for about 10-15 years and I always enjoyed my experiences until recently.Let me start out by saying, I love the service of the hygienist Lisa; she has always cared for me and my teeth and I believe/trust in her. I would continue to go there just to have her clean my teeth even though it is an hour away from my work and out of my insurance network.Unfortunately though, the practice was recently sold to a new Dentist and Dr. Phillips retired. In my two visits with the new dentist, Dr. Roemisch, I have not found that same trust.In each of my two visits with him, I have been told I have new cavities, and teeth that should be pulled, an experience I am not accustomed to.I understand thats what you go to a dentist for, but, i regularly care for my teeth and found it hard to believe I needed that amount of work since I felt no irritation or pain that a cavity usually causes. After the first meeting with Dr. Roemisch, he suggested I pre-emptively take care of two possible cavities. I had no pain in those areas until after I agreed to have him fill them. During my second visit, I was told I should consider having a tooth pulled so I wouldnt have to worry about cavities in that tooth anymore... Im not saying hes a bad Dentist, but, I spent 95% of my visit with Lisa and in the small amount if time I spent with Dr. Roemisch, I was told I needed all this work done out of nowhere. I felt as though I wasnt really cared for and he was doing work that wasnt necessary. My advice to him is to build a relationship with your patients before you start suggesting pulling teeth. Again I love the experience Ive had with Lisa the hygienist and I hope she gets the recognition she deserves, she is an amazing asset to the business.
Dr. Phillips and the staff are great. You wont find a more compassionate dental staff. They explained everything completely and made sure we understand all the options for my brothers dental care. They even helped by giving us a couple of dental insurance companies that might be able to help us pay for future dental care. They make sure you are completely satisfied with your dental care. All costs and procedures and explained before the exam begins. I am going to recommend Dr. Phillips to everyone.

I have been going to Dr. Phillips for about 15 years ever since I was a kid and EVERY single, visit has been an absolutely positive and and wonderful experience. Now 30 years old, I just went back for a chipped tooth (which he fixed in 10 minutes) and I realized that after all this time, his, and the staffs positive attitudes and friendly nature has not changed one single ounce over the years. His office is a great example of a how a small business should operate and and outstanding customer interaction. I would not want to goto any other dentist ever, and I really mean that.

Ive been to Dr. Phillips twice on an emergency basis. The first time my cap fell off while I was at work. He was able to get me in the same day, without complaint, and put the cap back on. I was also seen after having severe tooth pain (from a root canal gone wrong done by a previous dentist). Again, I was able to get in the same day, he and his staff were very kind and curtious and did everything they could to help diagnose the problem as well as relieve the pain. Dr. Phillips and his staff have always gone out of their way to make sure my family and I are comfortable at every visit. From a simple cleaning, to more serious visits, I have nothing but good and kind words to say about Dr. Phillips and his staff. I recommend them to anyone who ask, and will continue to do so. If youre looking for a kind, compassionate, and dedicated dentist... He is for you!

Everything is explained to me in detail; including cost.Even though I dont have dental insurance and it is not covered by my medical insurance, Im comfortable enough going here that I dont mind paying a little extra.

I’m very nervous to go to the dentist and this practice came highly recommend as being kind and gentle. They don’t try pressure you to get dental work done that you’re not comfortable with. They tell you about different options but you get to choose what you would like to do or not do.

I had been in so much pain and I finally had enough.I made the call at 9am and they were able to get me right in at 10:50. Could not have had a better experience.I was very nervous and had some anxiety going in but literally every person working there made me feel comfortable the whole time.Professional but also down to earth which I liked (not all uptight its relaxed) I would recommend this place to anybody and I want to give a big thank you to the whole staff.

I had a toothache, they was able to get me in without a problem. They gave me a couple different options to take care of the problems. They wasn’t pushing the most expensive. So I really appreciate that. I really like it there.

I went in for my regular visit (since this pandemic has been going on). The visit went as smoothly as always! Pulled into the parking lot to let them know I was there, within a very few minutes they called to tell me to come in. The staff was as wonderful as always - it was a great visit!

2022-07-05I was referred to SC by a co-worker. While Ive had the same dentist since moving back home in 2011... I was reluctant. But from my first visit, I knew I had made a good choice. The people here are awesome and make an effort to know you by name! Very professional and make you feel like part of the family. you wont be disappointed. :D

2022-04-21I would highly recommend this group! I don’t know about you but I have high anxiety about going to the dentist, which caused years of neglecting my oral health care. I found the staff to be very kind, supportive and nonjudgmental! They were patient and engaging and I started feeling calm. Dr Roemisch was awesome. They worked it out to come back for a cleaning later that afternoon so I got everything done! I found my dentist! ❤️

2022-04-19Prior to booking an appointment at Middletown Smile Center, I read the reviews, which were all good. But I’m always skeptical; I mean, who actually wrote them? Friends? Family?I’m glad to report that the good reviews were all true. I had a friendly greeting when I registered at the front desk. My hygienist, Lisa, felt like a new friend by the time I left. Although I only saw Dr. Roemisch for a short while, he made me feel comfortable and cared for. I was looking for a new dentist and dreaded the process of finding one, but I’m so glad I picked the Middletown Smile Center.

2022-01-20I 100% recommend going here! I have been terrified of the dentist all my life, growing up I didn’t have insurance and couldn’t afford a good dentist so I always went to some hole in the wall dentist and always had a terrible experience which had ruined my outlook on dentists until now! I just had to have a root canal done and I was so so scared but when I tell you I felt nothing I mean I literally felt NOTHING! I am no longer scared of going to the dentist and plan on going regularly now! I am so thankful I was recommended to go here! The staff was so patient with me knowing I was nervous and did such a good job calming me down.

2022-04-12I do not have a regular dentist and I have never been here before but I was having bad swelling in my gums on Sunday and into Monday. They were the only place who seemed to care that I needed an emergency dental procedure and they were able to get me in the same day even as a new patient. I am pregnant and they made sure to give me the best care and did not do unnecessary X-rays which saved me over $100. The whole team was very nice. They did great work on me although I am still healing I have already had so much relief and the pain has become manageable with tylenol. I plan to return and use Dr. R as my regular dentist for all cleanings and procedures moving forward.
