I had broken my glasses and the office was able to get me in the same week due to a cancellation. I really appreciate all the ladies that helped me get in, get the exam and pick out new glasses. Top of the line office!
I had a wonderful experience at Middletown Eye Care. The doctor conducted a thorough and precise eye exam for both eyeglasses and contact lenses. I had never experienced such personal and professional assistance selecting eyeglass frames until I came here. Im glad I found such a great place to oversee my eye care health. Fantastic service from caring knowledgeable folks! Dr. Bjork is a God send after a absolutely dissatisfied customer experience of Walmart Dr. Hanke. I was treated with kindness and understanding and the entire visit was a pleasure. Most important to mention my eyes were diagnosed properly with astigmatism in both eyes unlike Dr. Hanke at Walmart who failed to do her job properly missing that I had this issue with both eyes not only one of my eyes. As a result Middletown eye care left me with proper vision and more importantly a great experience which will guarantee years of returning of great service!Thank you all at Middletown eye care!

No one is ever excited to have to go to a optometrist for their two year old child. But with that said, I couldn’t be happier. As soon as we walked in Lexi, the receptionist was beyond kind and helpful. After a short wait, Jamie called us back, she was very patient and sweet doing some of the eye tests. Dr. Fisher came in and was great with answering my questions and explaining what/how/why she did the tests she did. She was very understanding and amazing with my two year old. I wasn’t sure how this appointment was going to go- but left feeling thankful to have met some amazing people who took care of my child.
The doctors and staff at Middletown Eye Care were amazing! I went in with my 2 month old, and everyone was extremely kind, understanding and helpful. I left with my very first pair of contacts and one of the nurses even held and consoled my baby while I learned how to use and take care of my contacts! It was a true blessing and I felt very thankful for their compassion. I was also very impressed that the had my prescription in stock! Id recommend this office to anyone!
I saw Dr Fisher yesterday and she was not only delightful, but very concerned with my eyesight and had great ideas on how to improve my correction to solve my problem! I hope she stays there forever! And the staff was delightful as well, very helpful and patient as I tried to chose frames. I left there feeling so happy and satisfied. I would recommend that office to anyone!

This company and some of its employees are the rudest / unprofessional people Ive meet in Florida. Because of their screw up Im totally blind in one eye partially in other. The things they said and did to me was horrible. May I suggest you find another place to go. They may blind you like they did me

The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The doctors are the best in eye care! The young lady who helped me pick out a pair of glasses was extremely polite and very knowledgeable. When she did not know about a particular item , she asked a more senior staff member. Together they found the answer to my question. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone who wants to ask me about them. I have been going to this office since it opened and before they bought out Dr Crawford many, many years ago I stayed with this group. How long ? I am 63. Since I was 3 or 4 years old !!!!

I was running 8 mins late an it was no problem. They got me right back an did my exam. I had the picture of my eyes an the Dr explained it to me in perfect. I updated my glasses an she took her time an came up with a great pair. These ppl are awesome an the reason I like to go there.

They didnt push for frames in house, but they had a large Our young daughter came with us (whos getting an eye exam in 2 weeks) and she was nervous about what they were doing to her mom and dad and they walked her through it all and made her as comfortable as possible! My 86 year old mother had an appointment with Dr. Thompson. We were running a little behind. Her nurse was kind and considerate, she reassured me that everything was ok. My mother was treated with gentle kindness and consideration. Mom has a hearing loss, once I made the staff aware the adjusted their tone to make sure she clearly understood everything that was going on. Their cultural humility was heart warming. I will definitely recommend Middletown Eye Care to my family and friends!
I DO NOT recommend the Middletown office. The staff was friendly but Dr. Bjork was anything but friendly. The practices website says they take the time to explain the results of your eye exam, describe your options and listen to your eye care needs. He did none of that. He rushed through everything, went back and forth from my exam to the computer repeatedly without explaining anything. I asked questions and his answers were short and terse. I asked about some redness under my eye and he kept going back and forth. In the middle of this several minutes later he off-handedly said that has a different co-pay. I guess he considered he was giving me that further diagnoses in the middle of his chaotic behavior because they charged me the $35 specialist co-pay. My exam was covered by my insurance completely. He rushed me out to see a lady who was supposed to sell me glasses. I only needed the prescription because I was getting mine at Costco. She said she couldnt see how they could charge any less than $190 there because of the limits of my insurance. I got my glasses the same day at Costco for $95 after insurance. I left their office feeling like a lab specimen and being swindled.
My 8 year old daughter came here for her 1st eye visit and was scared to death! The staff, from the time we walked in, to the time we checked out, was absolutely amazing! Made my daughter feel safe and comfortable the entire time. Would HIGHLY recommend!

The appointment was to pick up my new glasses. There was a problem with the new lenses. They worked to figure out the problem and took steps to get it corrected. I’m now waiting again for my new glasses since they had to have them remade. I was quite satisfied with the way they handled it.
Dr Fisher is as sweet as they come. She always spends time with me and answers all my many questions. I have some eye issues and she is caring and informative. A+

I had a continuing problem with the fit of the glasses I purchased in February. Deb is the best! She looked at the frames and determined they werent going to make it much longer, so she helped me fing frames that were more substantial and then expedited them!

Absolutely wonderful. The people who work there are all incredibly nice and Dr. Katherine Fisher is the best optometrist I’ve ever been to, hands down. I’m sure the other doctors are just as great and the price is definitely worth the experience. I cannot recommend them enough.
This was the first time that I had visited this optometrists office. The reviews are what convinced me to visit, as I was interested in trying a different optometrist. There was nothing wrong with my previous one...I should have just stayed. My experience must have, unfortunately, been unique from all of these other reviewers. It took me two months to finally get a pair of lenses that were almost identical to the lenses that I already owned. I wish that I could review Dr. Fisher separate from the rest of the office staff, as she was wonderful, and tried her best to help my vision improve. During my initial interaction with the opticians, I asked several questions about the lens technology that was available, as previously, Ive always just said yes to whatever past opticians have said would be helpful in my lens. Unfortunately, I was not given even somewhat helpful responses.When picking out frames, the opticians were welcoming and helpful with other people, but when I was picking out mine, the optician just sat at her table and looked around, unless I specifically asked a question. As an example, when I asked about the time that the transitions technology (for which Ive never had before) took to shift from normal to shaded, my answer was that it took a fraction of the time that the previous version did...Ive never had it before, so how would I know what that even means? When I asked for more info, she handed me a pamphlet and told me to read it...while I was dilated already. There were several answers to questions I had, and this is literally their job to know this information. This is just one of the many examples of my experience at the office.Finally, it took me several visits for adjustment, as I had issues, such as the frames being too heavy, causing irritation on the bridge of my nose, slipping, bad sizing of the temple arms, and I mentioned that these were concerns when I originally visited. It ended up taking 3 pairs, and I had to fight to get the last pair, as they wanted to charge me for a whole new pair, even though the mistake was not my own, but the optometrists. Also, it takes several days (if at all) to receive return phone calls, as no one other than the receptionists answer the phone. As much as I liked Dr. Fisher, her opticians gave me the worst experience Ive had at an office. In the end, my lenses were still quite a bit heavier than my previous ones, even when using the same frames and type of lens as I got from my previous optometrist (and still had to pay the cost of new frames plus lens).Tl;dr: Came because of the reviews, but wont be returning. My Optometrist was great, but the opticians were horrible. The manager and optometrists should be embarrassed by my experience with their opticians.
I needed documentation for a 3rd class medical for a pilot’s license. Everyone i worked with was extremely helpful. They worked me in as quickly as possible, checked to be sure exactly what was needed, and kept me up to date on progress.( My last pair of glasses were some of the best I’ve ever had, also)
Promptly responded to my text when I arrived in the parking lot, and adhered to the covid restrictions.Very professional. I have been very happy with them every time I visit, and have made several referrals to Dr Fisher.

Had my first appointment with Dr. Landrum this morning, a first class operation. Started off great as I t was the very first time I have never had to fill out insurance paperwork, they already had it all pre-filled out by the computer. I got in and out in record time, they gave me free samples for some new contacts to try, and everyone was extremely friendly. Highly recommended!

I am very happy that i chose to go there, Update I paid a $40 copay was told by the Dr who checked my eyes that i would not have to pay additional co pay I went in paid Around $400 and my insurance paid as well. When my glasses came in I was told i had to pay %40.08 more The lady was not as friendly I will not be going back there..I do not recommend this place.

I highly recommend middletown eye care!!! Dr Bjorke is an awesome Optomitrist! He caught a condition of my retina very early on and saved my vision by sending me to to see Dr Miller at CEI. Dr. Miller told me that Dr. Bjorke did a super job catching my condition early, by doing that Dr Miller a retinal specialist was able to cure my condition with only 3 eye injections. The staff at Middletown eye also show great customer service!
Awful experience I seen a Dr Rudolif horrible she has no experience or ? I have never left an Eye Dr office with me being so confused..Please consider seeing a different Dr..the best Dr left Dr Landrum..

The staff at Middletown Eye Care is unprecedented in professionalism and willingness to assist their patients. Embarrassing to admit, but I got an eye exam and prescription and then took the prescription to a quick one-hour place (Im sure we all know the chain). The glasses they gave me I couldnt wear. They made me nauseous and my vision worse than without glasses. I returned them to the vendor twice. Each time they blamed my bifocal. (Ive been wearing bifocals for 6 years.) They were literally nightstand decoration. I gave up. In a desperate attempt to salvage some shred of my $600, I made another appointment with MEC. For $30 dollars, they reexamined my prescription, examined my glasses, and gave me a comprehensive list (four items) of how the glasses were not accurate. Without their help I would have never convinced the company to remake them. Thank you MEC!

Have had several pairs of glasses made here, but they do not like outside prescriptions. They did not want to make my kids glasses until I explained that their doctor is a specialist. Finally made them after my daughters teacher actually contacted them and shamed them into it.
The staff is very professional and caring. Dr Landrum spends time with you, does a thorough exam, and answers all your questions carefully. Its a nice place to go for eye care

2022-06-23This was my first visit to Middletown Eye Care. I was very pleased with the friendly staff and the lobby area was very comfortable. My appointment was with Dr. Nathan Bjork. He was very professional, and very thorough in his examination. I highly recommend Dr. Bjork. My next stop after my exam was over to the eyeglass section of the office. The woman that helped me with choosing the features for my new glasses was very knowledgeable and friendly. She explained my insurance coverage as well as what features would work well with my particular vision issues. I was happy with the prices and selection of frames and found a pair of glasses that suited me well. Over all I can say confidently that this was the best experience I’ve ever had getting an eye exam and new glasses. Next time you need glasses or an exam give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

2022-07-07Dr. Bjork is very thorough and answers all questions. If you choose to get night driving glasses like I did he lets you decide and puts no pressure on you if you do or dont. This is a rare situation for me because where I went before they always tried to get you to purchase glasses and not use readers. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend Middletown Eye Care 100% if you need a new eye doctor.

2022-06-20I am amazed at how knowledgeable and caring the staff there is. I takes medication that could damage my eyes and was a little scared however the doctor explained everything to me in terms I understood and made me feel comfortable. I would highly recommend them to anyone especially if you need test on your eyes bc of medication you are taking. Thank you ladies for being so kind!!
