I can’t say anything but Thank You to all of the wonderful teachers at Michelle’s Blacklick. Every time I walk in to drop off or pick up I am greeted by all I encounter. I have never not once felt unsafe leaving my child here. Every person in the building has been amazing on some of their hardest days. There are 6-7 staff members who have been there for over 2 years. When I walked in to tour that building in 2019 it was old, outdated, no organization, and could never find what room my child was in but that is not the case anymore for a while now. I have recommended this daycare to several people and I’m glad my best friend is bringing her baby here in July! Every time I think things are going great Ms. Chelsey comes up with a new idea to make our kids want to come everyday and our family stay there. All of the staff are there everyday and you can tell they are so tired but still smile. The bonds that are made there with the adult and children are unbreakable. Thank you ladies and Mr. Trey for taking care of my son!

We started our toddler there this week and can I say wow! I called Friday morning for information and got the voicemail and within an hour got a phone call back and scheduled a tour according to my schedule (better yet they told me to bring my son so he could see the place). They are doing tours late into the evenings and even on weekends!! Ms. Chelsey was so helpful and I am so glad I made the decision to come, I was even able to start him this week! The building is so pretty both inside and out and smells so clean (our last daycare did not). I feel like we are apart of a family! 3 days in and we love Michelles Academy Blacklick!!! OMG! I had a tour here last night for our 3 and 8 year old! Ms. Chelsey was quick to get us in for a tour as this time we are getting rushed back to work. Our plans of leaving our girls where they currently are until Fall quickly changed when we met with Chelsey and seen the building. She sold us! She knew what she was talking about and very sweet! We are so glad to be leaving our current center to come to Michelles!

This Pre-school is TERRIBLE! My son was there for a little less than 9 months. The turnover rate is extremely high. My son had over 5 different teachers, before I decided to remove him. There was no structure or stability. The director Beth seemed annoyed and like she didnt really enjoy her job at all. The owner Michelle was very UNPROFESSIONAL! She requires that all parents do automatic withdrawal to make sure she gets her money, but provides terrible service in return. My sons first teacher was Phenomenal and left after three years, because she wanted to be somewhere she could be appreciated, grow and have benefits. Michelle is paying her staff around $10 an hour without any medical benefits and no raises. I tried to give the school a chance after she left, but I saw a downhill spiral and teachers in and out. The final straw was one day I came to pick my son up and he was potty trained and was saturated in urine and feces! When I walked into the classroom he was sitting in a chair looking very disheveled and visibly upset. He had an appointment we had to attend shortly after and when I asked him to get up to put his coat on he cried refusing to stand up. After standing him up I realized he had a pull up on that was saturated through his pants. This takes hours of NEGLECT! Once I pulled his pants down he had poop stuck to him that had clearly been there for HOURS. When I addressed the new young completely inexperienced staff member she rolled her eyes and told me that she just checked him thirty minutes prior. I was so upset at not only the care my son was receiving while I was at work, but how things were handled after the fact. I immediately changed my son, (which took over 30 minutes) due to the state he was in, making me miss an appointment he had scheduled. I spoke with the Director Beth in tears, because it was such a terrible feeling to know my son was being neglected, while I thought he was in good hands. Beth informed me that the owner was out of town and she would have her call me when she returned after apologizing for what she was able to witness herself. The Owner Michelle never called me, as her preferred method of contact was email. I had to email her multiple times regarding the matter before I got a reply. Once she did reply she said she already addressed the matter and that there would be potty sheets handed out everyday going forward. I respectfully addressed her unprofessional behavior as I had requested a meeting or phone call to discuss matters rather than a dismissive email. She then apologized and made it difficult to meet. This was the FINAL STRAW! I took off of work and diligently did interviews to find him a place that was professional and provided exceptional care and service and Im so happy that I did. I hope this review helps!

This will be our third school year at Blacklick. We have been through the toddler room, pre-school, and now pre-K. I have never don’t a review before, however I recently became self-employed, and now see the importance. Every time I have had a concern about my son, Beth has addressed it in a timely and professional fashion, and in the rare occasion that she isn’t there, there has been an appointed person to do it. Michelle is there sometimes and is personable and down to earth. I had a couple or concerns with curriculum, she wrote down everything as we were talking, so she wouldn’t forget in the form of an e-mail, and it was all followed up within a week or so. Which was great! Turnover was an issue last school year in Preschool, but the communication was great throughout the process. As a professional, I understand good help is hard to find too, and it all worked out. It is very much a family atmosphere, clean and lots of creativity. I would encourage you to go by and meet everyone to get a feel for yourself, we are very happy here.

I worked here briefly due to moving and finding a career move … the owner, Michelle, didn’t pay me for the hours I worked and I’ve sent her messages (15 texts) and never got a reply back. I only worked a week but her lack of communication is unsettling and disturbing for being the owner of a company.

Due to terrible working conditions and being treated very rudely by staff, I quit after working two months. I had a Full two week paycheck due but Michelle withheld it from me. Causing my car payment to be late, my phone bill being late and my checking account going negative. She’s refusing to take my calls and blocked my phone number after ONE call! I DO NIT RECOMMEND!! TERRIBLE WORKING CONDITIONS! I have a two year old daughter who I WOULD NEVER LET Go to this daycare!

I just toured the Blacklick location this week and I am absolutely in love! The building is clean, organized, and reliable. Cant wait to bring my infant here this Fall!

Terrible very unprofessional place. Go with Ms. Susie who’s now teaching previous students that once went here from home now. Michelle is a piece of trash, she has no ethics or morals and gets involved in domestics when she shouldn’t.

I wish I could give a negative five. A terrible place. Beth yells at the kids and hires unqualified women just to have a body there. They dont care about the kids. Dont be fooled by the pretty building from the outside because there are ugly people on the inside!
