Thank you metrohealth for taking the time with smiles to take care of my dad, you guys were always professional, curtious, and waisted no time in making him comfortable and trying to help to get him better. Everyone from the front desk, to nurses and doctors have been nothing but exceptional at their jobs so I just wanted to let everyone know that if you ever have to come here at Severance Metro Health just know that you will be well taken care off. Big shout out to nurse Kate, & Jim the medic who helped my dad from the car wheeled him in and back to the car and was just so caring and understanding, God Bless you all for your commitment on taking care of others.💖😊🤗
Poor customer service poor communication I was billed for a mistake a nurse made and told I still had to pay. I have decided to stop going there and stop taking my kid there it was a rough 3 years with Metrohealth complaints after complaints and each call back is Im sorry.
If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I have been unfortunately insured by them since they were Kaiser and have used this pharmacy since the beginning. Nothing has changed with HealthSpan, other than everyone being confused by taking numbers. If my employees had the same customer service skills as they do in this pharmacy, I would be out of business. However, their business is healthcare and they do not have to be nice. The only pharmacy that is worse is the one located in Bedford, they give an entire new meaning to the word rude.
I see Dr. Shuffer and Dr. Bell At Metrohealth Severance and they are amazing!!!! I love Metrohealth and having great doctors only a hop skip and a jump away is so nice. Great doctors that actually care and spend time with you. Thanks Metrohealth and my amazing doctors!!!!
My grandson fell and hurt his arm i took him to Metro Hospital in Severance Circle after the 6 hr wait he got xrays then the Doctor came and told me he has a broken arm which he wrapped in a soft cast and a large sling mind you my grandson is 10 yrs old gave him ibuprofen and told me to make him an appointment in ten days with an orthopedic doctor well his mom had to take him to a doctor in Lorain ohio and Informed her that Metro did not treat my grandson accordingly he should have had a hard cast and a sling that fits properly my grandson is in horrible pain Metro is definitely not a good ER terrible place not the first bad experience i had with this place and we were never shown the xrays😡😡
I love Metrohealth hospital they take real good care of you Ive been with them for a long time and after I had my two children and Im still with Metro I had to go to the emergency today to get myself checked out and they took very good care of me I will definitely recommend them to family and friends

2022-06-16My experience here just sucked. I came 8 weeks pregnant for a pre natal visit. When I mentioned my fainting pregnancy symptoms, instead of doing a HCG level test, Mrs Carmen Dawson just told me I was blessed. With no more investigation. As a result, I had to request an early ultrasound because I knew something wasnt going right. One week later, the ultrasound confirmed my pregnancy had stopped but there was no formal diagnosis that could be given to me by the technician or the radiologist, only an OB-GYN could so I had to make an appointment...a few days later. The night after the ultrasound I started my miscarriage at 2 AM in my bed. The next day, I called 4 times the Clinic of Cleveland Hts to know what to do and how to deal with my growing pain. I got told to take tylenol and a hot shower! Basically, no care was provided. No help to deal with my pain which made my stress grow and skyrocket at 8PM, when the pain and spasms (to not say contractions) became so unbearable that I had no other choice left at this time of the day but to go to the ER. I found out once at the ER the nurses I had over the phone 4x that day couldnt tell me to take Ibuprofen to release the pain. Why? Because the miscarriage hadnt been diagnosed prior. And why hadnt it been diagnosed? Because Mrs Dawson missed the opportunity to find it out. It was her job to listen to me carefully and take these signs seriously! At the ER, some pregnancy tissues got sent to the lab but the analysis came back inconclusive. Why? because they send whatever, what needed to be sent to the lab was the sac...that I had lost at home. So this lab work was useless as it wasnt the good sample. This whole experience resulted with a bill that the Metrohealth hasnt been willing to cancel although I can count more than one mistake, the feeling of a broken health system with conflict of interests, an incompetent medical team and on top of the loss of my baby, Im still trying to overcome my anger about what happened a year ago now.

2022-03-18The doctor gave me a knee brace I said I didnt need which I later found out was in order to charge me $100+ dollars for it. Also the women at the desk were unhelpful in connecting my insurance to my bill which I had to do on my own.

2022-06-01This place was horrible. They didnt help me at all. They didnt even give me a wrist band. I felt like I was at an urgent care, not a hospital

2021-06-10Terrible customer service. Emergency visit: no one at desk when we walked in. Then front desk was very lazy and could not care less while my partner was bleeding and shaking in front of her. Took ages to get a phone number and to call someone. She was not even wearing a mask. Very poor communication, left us waiting over an hour without any explanation. Everyone is lazy, moving slowly, and does not seem to care. The doctor and the medic, however, were pleasant and professional.

2021-12-20Very disrespectful and all the stuff members, nurses and doctors have nasty attitude’s. By far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a metro health center and the building is broke down one side.

2021-02-12Subpar Care:I don’t feel this facility provides quality care. It is disheartening to know that my husband’s aunt passed away today after we were told she was improving. It was almost as if his daily calls to check on his loved one was inconvenient. She was like a mother to him as he lost his biological mother as a toddler. We were told that the doctor could allow a visit. We inquired and they denied the request and offered a zoom. We were never contacted about the zoom. Meanwhile, our loved one passed away less than 24 hours after we were advised she was improving. The staff and people we spoke with disgust me.

2019-07-07The fastest wait time of any ER I have ever been to in an evening. Weve been there twice, one at 5-ish PM and one at 9pm, and each time been seen within 10 minutes and never seen anyone waiting longer than that. Additionally, we werent just hustled back to a room and ignored (which has happened at multiple other ERs) -- the doctors or nurses were in the room within a few more minutes.Everyone seemed friendly and motivated to help. There wasnt as good of pain control as Id have hoped for (where is there anymore?), but the treatment itself was good. They took definite precautions for my comfort (e.g., turning down the lights when it became apparent that the overhead lights were causing pain to my injured eye) and were kind.As a genderqueer impoverished patient, I experienced no gender-based biased (e.g., no one implied that my problems were because of my trans care nor did I have trouble with people refusing to respect pronouns). Additionally there was no suggestion of skimping on care because of medicaid usage. For example, even though I could have technically been sent home without an eye patch, they not only provides one for free but also gave me a whole roll of tape and extra pads so I wouldnt have to purchase them. (Image of nice bandage job included)Everything seemed clean and well-run. Highly recommended. This is my new emergency room! One warning: you have to park at the part labelled Emergency after 5pm or so, because even though its the same building and obviously lit and in use, the other doors are locked.

2019-04-29I am currently seeing Dr. Dvorkin and I am very dissatisfied. She treats me like a preschooler by asking my job to confirm everything I ask her or tell her about my job duties. She has taken almost 2 weeks to fill out my forms just because my word isnt good enough for her. Even my employer is surprised at how Im being treated. I pay good money out of my check every 2 weeks and Im tired of this mess. I will be looking for another provider, soon! The whole Metrohealth system as a whole needs work...
