I purchased and assembled the 23 for aeration for our pond. Absolutely love the finished product! I will say it does take a considerable amount of time to assemble. Following the directions step by step is highly recommended as well as watching the assembly video as the written directions are somewhat vague, but make total sense after watching video. Diffuser stone installationwas simple and easy to do. I would definitely recommend.

I have purchased 2 windmills from Joe (and Son), this latest one a 28 and the one before that the 23. The 23 was just a lawn ornament for a farmhouse but looked amazing and got compliments all the time. The 28 on the other hand was a real pumping one for a 5-acre pond I have- and it works perfectly. There is something wonderful about watching that thing spin all day and the bubbles in the pond popping up and knowing that is all powered by wind. I cant ask my fish if they are happier with all that extra O2 in their water- but I am pretty sure they are. The only downside is just you need to be ready for what it takes to build and erect these things. Building takes a solid 3-4 hours with 2 guys. Read the directions so you dont have to take bolts off multiple times and also watch their videos! A couple power drills with a socket set will save your body and time. Then comes erecting them. We were able to get the 23 up with 6 guys, 4 pushing and 2 holding their ground at the base. No chance that was happening on the 28, we used 4 guys and a tractor to pick up the weight (2 lifting at the top and 2 holding ground at the base again). I believe you could use a tie-down and a truck to pull up the 28, but youll still need lifters so it goes up and not across. In the end, excellent windmills, they look good and work well. Very pleased and will buy again when I complete the next pond in my back yard. Thanks!

Our windmill purchased from Joe Mescan served us more than 20 years trouble free. Recently we decided to complete maintenance including new bearings, bladder, and airstone. Joe and son Keith provided much needed expert advice along with new parts. Our landmark windmill is proudly standing and operating hopefully for additional 20 years.

I have a 20 year old windmill I purchased online from a Canadian company that was no longer bubbling. I found a decent troubleshooting list online and then found Joe Mescan who was a great asset for asking more specific questions. Joe helped walk me through a lot of the things I needed to look for and pointed out areas I may have trouble with as I moved forward. I did order first check valves and then a diaphragm kit as well from Joe. He shipped both orders in less than 24 hours from me placing them and really went way above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed to get things working again.Thanks for the all the help Joe! Bought the American Eagle 23 windmill for our farm pond. The unit works great and the quality appears to be very good. It takes a LONG time to put together. I had 13 man hours to put it together and you will need help. The directions/dvd are absolutely horrible. The instruction manual has zero pictures to reference and the entire dvd is 10 minutes long and skims through it. Shipping was extremely fast. I ordered on a Monday and received on a Wednesday. If you are not very mechanical, good luck.

If you need a windmill, this is the place to be! They sell, service, and even install windmills. These can be used to pump air for a pond, pump water, it just for decoration. They offer several sizes and are very knowledgeable about the selection, installation, and maintenance if these windmills. Very personable and always willing to help. Give them a call it stop I to see several of their models on display.
