The staff was very caring and friendly. The ease with which they handled my prep, once back in the waiting room, was admirable. They calmed my anxious feelings with the skill of conversation and laughter that made me feel at home. It was very apparent the nurses and doctors worked as a team familiar with the in and outs of the requirements of their day. Also when I left I was presented with a flower and a thank you card from my nurses. Another gesture that gives them 5 stars. (Thanks, Dee)

I was a patient at Mercy Surgery Center on Sept.5, 2019. It was my first time there.I didn’t know what to expect.The facility was very clean and the staff were extremely professional. I was very nervous about my two procedures. The nurses put my mind at ease. They were so comforting and caring. I was so anxious about the anesthesia, but, the nurse anesthetist was wonderful to make me feel everything would be okay. My husband had a diabetic low sugar while we were there and they even took care of him. I would recommend this surgical center to everyone. Every person you encounter from the time you walk in the door is so friendly. It really helps you to feel at-ease if you are nervous about the procedure. I also liked that it wasn’t packed or crowded like many of the other medical places in Springfield. Felt very clean and comfortable.
