I did have to wait, but that was to be expected with the rise of covid cases again. Every greeter, receptionist, nurse, x-ray tech and doctor were caring friendly, and overall top notch from the time I got there until they closed. This was the only stat care open and Im glad I ended up there.
Do not go here is you need to get in and out. and then when taken to the back they do absolutely nothing. I tell them my throat is inflamed and they dont even look at my throat. I tell them Ive been wheezing and the only thing they do is look in my ears. And send me on my way. 4hours of waiting for them to do nothing. If you cant go to ER and stat care when your doctor is booked where else can you go for immediate care. Especially when your job is requiring verification that you dont have covid. I do wish I would have went to Tusc whose wait was not nearly as long.
The wait wasnt too bad. Probably about an hour for as many people that were there. Once I got into a room it was easy to see why. Add one doctor to care for all the patients coming in and out. He was in the room with me for Id say 3 to 5 minutes tops. But he did give me the medicines that I needed. Send them to the correct drugstore so I was back home in a short amount of time.
Friendly staff, not a long wait. It is a great place to go if you need immediate attention, but arent in a life threatening situation. The check in and registration processes are quick and easy. If youre there for physical therapy, they are the best. They are nice, supportive, answer any and all questions without making you feel bad for asking, and willing to help in any way they can. The equipment is in excellent shape and kept clean for all patients.
I have come her two times the first time was for my son who had a rash the dr would hardly touch him in fear of him having measles (which he did not have) the second time is just now I came to get blood work for my dr a quick in and put lab and I have been sitting here for over an HOUR and have yet to even be checked in ... this is absolutely ridiculous I have asked for help twice and was told it would be shortly and im still sitting here ... NEVER AGAIN ! I do not recommend !!
This is my second time working with them. First time my doctor sent me to help my knees and now my son is going. Debbie is amazing and worked with both of us in the water to strengthen. The rest of the staff is friendly, the ladies locker room is clean and I cant speak for the mens. The lobby is huge and I really appreciate the tables and chairs. The couches are comfortable. The vending machines even take credit cards :) A terrific place I highly recommend!
If I could leave a negative amount of stars I would. I went in on 1/9/19. The check in was quick the ladies at the front desk were very sweet. It’s the nurses and the doctors I have an issues with. The one nurse called me dumb and the doctors and I wish I was kidding said “well if your bleeding then you probably already miscarried” I will never have that doctor if I even go here again. I was there for 2 hours they left me in the room for 45 mins no one knew what to do with me when all I needed was blood work. I did end up miscarrying but they treated me as if I was an inconvenience. It was the most awful experience I have ever had!! I was there
This is just one of those places that you dont want to be, ever. Lets face it, if youre there, youre probably not having a good time. So its hard to rate something like this as enjoyable. So all I can say is that the staff was professional, but the downside is, why force your patients to make an appointment if you really cant honor the time slot? We waited for an hour for a scheduled blood draw.
Was at this STATCARE for over 4 hours. Staff was kinda moody and stressed but most likely due to the amount of patients. The PA that took care of me was so nice and compassionate. I wish I remembered her name but she was young with dark brown hair. She made the wait not so bad and helped me get the medicine I needed.
The front desk staff, nurses, and PA i saw were all nice and respectful... i felt as though they cared. However, I am leaving a negative review because I was there for 4 hours in a waiting area that was pretty disgusting. There were used Kleenex just laying on the tables, the planters had so much dust in them and trash, the place was extremely dusty and dirty. It looked as though the chairs in the waiting area had never been wiped down. I could see layers of dirt and grime on them. The facility could definitely use some updating and cleaning! The wait times need to be improved.... its very frustrating that if you don’t know about the online check in you are stuck waiting behind people who have arrived there after you. Lesson learned I guess.
Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Anywhere else. Not only is their check in system archaic, its as impersonal as it gets. The registration girl was very nice. Its the best I can say about this place. The wait was ridiculous. Three hours with a 2.5 year old with a gash across his nose while watching others go back who came in after us, was a bit ridiculous. The nurses and doctors were as unfriendly as any Ive ever interacted with. The nurse kept coming in our room rooting around for supplies and telling us we were next. Im convinced that the numbing gel they put on my sons nose stopped working by the time the doctor decided to come back to the room. He said it would take 20 minutes to take effect and would last 20 minutes but he was gone for 45. Just an awful experience overall.
Omg this place is a joke I can’t make an appointment online Bc it keeps transferring me to Cleveland . Now otp for two hours no one knows how to answer the phone !! And the people that do answer the phone I get transferred 500 times just for the other person not to answer the phone !!
Worst emergency room/urgent care experience Ive ever had. Waited 2+ hours with a gashed open forehead while multiple people that got here after me went back. At about 2 hours into the wait they informed some people checking in that it would be about a 2 and a half hour wait. I wish they would have told us that. We would have left and gone to one of the several urgent cares in the area.
Total joke. The entire time they tried to own me off to their workers comp facility. After two hours of being at theirs the joke of a doctor gives me a paper sending me to the workers comp facility. Not to mention the rude radiologist who tells me to put my hand flat, the reason I am there is because I cant do that without pain radiating through my fingers, she decides to do it for me. Now I am in more pain than i started with.This place wasted two hours of my day for nothing, best of luck to anyone who attempts to be taken seriously here!
(review is for STAT Care) Been dealing with horrible pain in jaw, head and neck for over a week even with every therapy I can possibly do to help. My GP couldnt get me in so told me to go to urgent care. The doctor here looked at me for about 10 seconds, wrote me a script for a steroid and left... though I told him I had taken a steroid dose pack 3 weeks ago that didnt help the symptoms Ive been having. The pain is excruciating but it seems most doctors dont care about that anymore (I dont think they ever did). They just assume that youre a pill seeking drug addict if your in pain. I hate the health care system in this country, especially the poor areas. It has failed me and many family members over and over again. I dont know why I ever expect anything different. This place will not take your pain seriously if you dont look like your on your deathbed.
Doctors were very rude and cared less about people than I have ever seen. The doctor (if that is what you call them) told me he would close my workman comp claim and not to come back. No referral to a specialist since my back pain progressively got worse causing tingling and numbing but he said touch my toes and your case is closed ! Worst waste of my time ! Physical therapist next door were amazing and if he wouldve read their notes he may have realized they know more than him !
Waited for over 2 hours to tell my husband he needed to go to Mercy ER for treatment, strongly belive they should have told us up from they couldnt do anything for his condition instead of taking our $75 co-pay and making us wait for over 2 hours for pretty much nothing. I selected this location as I saw it had x-ray and CT scan, so thought maybe the could treat him but instead had to go on to hospital for CT scan. Beyond feeling like they just wanted to take our money why make a patient wait in pain when you know the hospital could treat them faster.
Worst hospital experience ever!!! Will NEVER go back there. On top of waiting for an hr and half to be seen. I went in thinking I may have ring worm on my ankle..the doctor came in, completely unprofessional and said he already new what I had before he saw me because he had done a lecture on it earlier that day. He wrote down the skin condition he believed I had and told me to go home and google it. Why the hell would I go google something when Im paying hundreds of dollars to see you?? He said there was nothing I could do for it and it would last 4-6 weeks and get worse. He saw me for maybe 3 minutes . Thankfully I followed up with my regular doctor and as I expected I was misdiagnosed. I have seen two doctors since the visit and both agree I was misdiagnosed. They were appalled this doctor didnt even try to give me anything to try to get better. Thankfully the doctors I saw for a second opinion ACTUALLY treated me .I will never go back there. I cant believe they are even considered a hospital.
Went for a TB test that should take one minute to perform but about 5 minutes with paperwork. Waited 40 minutes to sign in and 40 minutes to be served. Yes, you watch multiple people who sign in after you, go before you. It makes no sense. I felt horrible this little toddler with a broken hand that had to wait so long. They should have some kind of policy to quickly serve children. The nurse who did my TB was like a snail. No wonder the wait is horrible. Hello nurse, you are there to work! Seriously, she seemed either lazy or low functioning. She messed up the form and I had to fill it out over again. All this for a simple TB test. For 20 years we used Ault mans services, which were alway quicker and they seemed to recognize the needs of serving children promptly.
I disagree with negative reviews. I took a friend here on New Years Day and every single person was friendly. Im not a Mercy patient so I didnt know what to expect. It was the first time I went to an emergency care and I felt like people listened. It was also nice because the staff actually talks to you. Im used to people that act like drones. I will continue to share our positive experience at this location.
What good does pre- registration do for you? We pre- registered and was given a 9:15 time. We showed up on time, signed in and waited while 5 other walk- ins which came after us were registered ahead of us and were given treatment ahead of my wife. Moral of story: walk-in. You will get serviced better! Care was good once we got in.
The Physician Assistant (young gentleman) was inappropriate, rude and condensing. Had to visit this facility because I just moved to the area and have not established a primary care physician. It was impossible to find a physician as a new patient at the last minute and around the holiday. The nurses were great but the PA was horrible. I spent over 4 hours at the facility and I will never visit this location again.
I wish that I could give them no stars. I went in last Thursday and explained that I needed EKG & X ray results sent to my orthopedic surgeons office no later than Monday. I was assured this would happen, so I had them do the procedures.Monday morning comes and my doctors office hadnt receive the results.I called them on Monday morning around 10 and had to leave a message...you can never get a live person when you call, unless you are making a payment!I left a message and once again told them my results needed to be sent that day in order to have my knee replacement surgery date saved.No one returned my call until the end of the next day. I was only told to call Mercy Hospital...they would not check for me!Upon calling the two hospital departments, I was told the StatCare center did not provide my physicians name nor fax number on either of the tests despite my giving this info to them.The EKG results had been signed by the reviewing Dr. on Friday and had been sitting there since!I called the StatCare office again and could not speak with a live person once again..no surprise. Still no call back from StatCare.This is THE WORST customer-patient service I have ever experienced. Totally unprofessional and total lack of communication with myself and the hospital.9/25/18 UPDATE - I have to laugh at their superb customer service response to each of the reviews posted. Quite the personal touch and it only took 6 days for Jennifer to cut and paste the same response to me! Thanks so much for caring, Jen!
This place is terrible! My son was diagnosed with illness from his pediatrician. He was mis-diagnosed by this stat care before I ever made him a pediatricion appointment. They had a cream which didnt work on my son so the pediatrician prescribed treatment in pill form. I tool my daughter and I to this urgent care for the same illness that my son had,the doctor came in and accused me of backing him in a corner and that he was going to see what trouble I could get into with the medicine I was asking for. I couldnt believe that I was being accused of making up an illness for a non threatening medication. He left for ten minutes to look the medicine up and came back and said that he would not prescribe the medicine. As if I was making the whole illness up an lying about my daughter and I showing symptoms. The doctor here was very unprofessional and did not help my daughter and I at all. He made me feel like I acted like I was looking for drugs. I told him he was a disgrace before leaving. I have never been treated this way by a doctor before. He was very unprofessional and I will never be returning here.
Husband came in about a week ago with a fever and other symptoms. The LPN stated she was sure the doctor would swab him for the flu. Needless to say he was given a chest xray. The doctor came in and didnt say anything about the chest xray but thought he had the flu and nothing he could do but let it run its course. That was all the doctor did. Didnt swab him...just listened to his chest and said sounded good and checked one ear and we were on our way. Two days later we went to Urgent Care and diagnosed him with a bacterial infection. He since is starting to feel better. Will not go back ever!
Loved working with this center on my iPhone: scheduling my emergency appt,check in, waiting room while visiting Canton, and visit summary, after care made this medical disruption on my trip sooo much more manageable. On returning to Maryland, received emails with questions 😊🌄
Waited 2.5 hours for a rabies vaccine, 4 people that had arrived after me got called back before me, now im done with my shot and the employees at the desk outside my room are watching videos with people shouting swear words. Definitely will not be back here. Very nice mercy.
Long wait. One medical assistant coughed into her hand and didnt sanitize it. Slow. The staff forgot me in my room and I actually startled the lady when I left my room at 9:45 p.m. and asked if I was going to be seen. The dr miswrote my prescriptions and I was the last patient and the facility was deserted. I cannot begin my medication until sometime tomorrow when the pharmacy gets the dr to correct his errors on 3 prescriptions! Incredible really! This is health care in the United States for those of us who sometimes need it badly. Terrible place. Will not go back and would NOT recommend to anyone.
I went for an illness and surprisingly got in and out at a reasonable time frame. Easy check in and the window clerk was polite. Dr. Thang on the other hand did not spend nearly enough time with me. Later, I ended up going the ER for the same illness and finding out that the medication I was given at Stat Care was not the proper dosaged medication for my illness Ive been here before on an ocassion or two and had ok service. Ive heard others complain about this Stat Care. I will not go back to this place. I do not recommend this Stat Care!!
Going on two hours of waiting! I came literally just for a physical, which when I called and asked if I needed an appt...they told me no because they get people in and out quickly.Still havent been seen by anyone, sitting in a room waiting for the doctor. Ive been sitting in this room now for about 35 mins. About to walk out and go somewhere else.
Got to Stat care a little after noon on a Saturday. It wasnt too full but I had to wait over an hour before I was even called up for registration. After I got registered the rest went fairly fast. I just hate that it ends up being a 2 hour visit for a minor illness. I would have gone to my doctor if they had been open when I got off work.
Typical wait time 45min -2 hours lots of gross people that cant seem to cover their mouths though... (not so much kids but grown adults). I guess thats everywhere though. The staffs always been kind to us. Nurses are usually nice & we have only ever had a issue with the doctors 3 times in the last 14 years so id say thats a good ratio considering theres five of us. Im not a germ a phobe but seriously people just cover your mouth & wash your hands!
Husband cut his left hand deep. Went to Statcare, check in was fast. Nurse came out 3 times and covered his hand because it was bleeding alot. Dr. Was not friendly at ALL! All she did was stitch it and said no restrictions after we told her he was left handed and his job required alot of writing. Very RUDE I called and complained about her. Only giving 3 stars because of Dr.
This place the worst. I went in with poison ivy on my face and hand. Dr said it was a sting. So now stings spread?!?! I now have poison ivy everywhere. What jerks just dandy! Never ever go back there again. Bottom of barrel drs. A friggin joke. My review is negative 100 times
Went to get a drug test for work, arrived at 7am and signed in, sat for 30mins without any acknowledgement and watched others get called. At 7:30 I filled out another form to b signed in, finally I got called and was told they could not print my form. I left and returned with printed form, and continued to wait another hour. I watch the women at the front desk socialize with each other while I stood there waiting for someone to assist me. I felt very mistreated as I continued to be ignored I hope I NEVER have to return to this place for ANYTHING
After Summas new Urgent Care on S. Arlington completely misdiagnosed a standard case of poison ivy, delaying proper treatment and causing the poison ivy to spread from topically to systemically, the doctor at Mercy Health identified, diagnosed, and treated me at once. You might have to wait a bit, but at least youll be diagnosed and treated accurately.
My son does physical and occupational therapy in the Akron Childrens Pediatric Therapy wing of this building. Akron Childrens has recently taken over the pediatric therapy unit from Mercy Medical Center. They have always been wonderful with my son, who is in a wheelchair and is non-verbal. He has made so much progress in the short time we have been coming here, I cant say enough about the wonderful people that work here!
Brought my 10 year old son in with a swollen, possibly broken foot.... sat for more than an hour while they registered people that came in after us. When asked I was told they were emergencies. One of them was a 14 year old boy with minor road rash from a bike wreck. Why is that more urgent than a broken foot? I hate coming here and avoid it at all cost
The wait here is incredibly long,and the amount of time you spend once your in the back with a Dr is incredibly quick so o dont understand how the wait is that long when you are in and out of a room after u c a Dr. Makes me question the quality of service at times, not for me specifically but for others who may have needed a better look.
Service was quick and as thorough as a Stat Care can be...should have been an EMERGENCY ROOM VISIT INSTEAD...but they did what they could do...My Sister felt the Dr was VERY RUDE...but I felt like he was being VERY THOROUGH! He answered all of her questions with authority and I think that can be misconstrued...
Beware; Price gouging is horrible for uninsured patients at Mercy Medical. I was charged 400% over customary US averages for a UTI. Unfortunately my symptoms hit on a Sunday and they were the only local service available. I was charged 450.00 for an exam and a urine culture. Typical US rates for urine cultures cost 11.00 to 13.00; some labs charge on average up to $89.00. However, $450.00 is more than price gouging. The doctor on staff met with me for 5 minutes and concurred that I had a UTI and gave me prescriptions for an antibiotic and pyridium (for pain). To clarify the $450 did not include the prescriptions. The staff was great - the prices are gouging to the local residents and not following Christian Guidelines.
Sat there for over two hours for them to say my urine looked good pushed on my stomach said they believe its my appendix and sent me to Er where then I still had to sit for over another two hours.. If u r seen at one place and sent to er I feel u should be seen immediately.
Last time I was here, Dr. T. Dang treated me for West Nile instead of pneumonia, I called back repeatedly with higher temperature, ended up in Green ER. Two bags of IVs, xray, blood work, antibiotics. Felt okay for 24 hours and had to be taken to Akron City hospital for brain biopsy, eye surgeon exam due to high temperature and severe dehydration. Week stay in the hospital for pneumonia. Not happy with Mercy, one more reason never to go back.
This is the slowest most depressed medical center in the world if I ever get ill I’d rather walk on whipple Avenue and get hit my a Mac truck then walk in this medical center it really takes four hours to get a terns shot really ps don’t try to reach out to ask how to solve this issue maybe you should work faster it is 2018 when you go shopping you hate waiting in line well this is you’re line faster faster the person I’m with that is be cared for called me three times while they were I the back waiting to anyone going to this place bring lunch and dinner I have been here since 11am and I’m writing this at 3:18 pm and still waiting like really faster faster I should write the canton rep about this
I went because i has i thought i had strep throat or bronchitis. When i was coughing up phlem i could see blood, my tonsils where a beet red color and swollen. My lungs felt tight like they were filled. Honestly all i wanted was some antibiotics or an inhaler and i couldnt even get that. Dr. Peruaiz finally gets to me, told me i didnt have strep and pretty much told me i was sick so now im stuck with a pointless bill. I would have been better off going to the er. Also gave me a hard time about getting a school slip only one day?
I’m writing this for me and someone else that just walked out I have been here for 2 hours and she was here for almost 3 with a small child, I’m here for a physical that takes 10 minutes max and I have places to be stuff to do, get more phisicians if your this slow, you aren’t even busy and there are plenty of people o still see that have been here since I got here.
Was there waiting for the doctor to see me for a hour and a half for a work injury, doctors comes and looks at injury for two minutes says its ok but Im still in pain and says go to work it will get better. Didnt even give me anything for the pain. Never going there again.
Very disorganized. There was a lady that just went up to the desk an sat down at the receptionist an spent 45 minutes with her. To top it off i had to wait longer because they said the slips were not in order. They have times on them people. This place really needs to get it together.
Lenny was the PA that saw us. I cannot imagine a more rude healthcare professional. He was condescending and unfriendly. When we asked a couple questions, he grumbled I dont know what youre looking for over and over. I would never send anyone I know to this place under any circumstances.
Waited for 3 hours, then asked if I was going to be helped, and they hadn’t realized I was still there. I made a google account specially to rate this place poorly because I was so disappointed in their service. Was sent home with a zpack they “may or may not help me”. So glad I chose this place to waste my time...
Website says open at 8am..... So I came then, but they dont open until 9am. People who have to be to work at 9am gets frustrated when they go at 8am and theyre not open. PLEASE CHANGE YOUR WEBSITE HOURS ASAP. Ive been before, wait is very long, but its close to home.

2022-05-18My 1st visit today was NOT the best. I was there for a Pre- Employment Screening(Physical). I got there by 8am, its 10 to 12 people already there, struggling with signing in because:1) 80% of them are seniors, disabled and NOT computer literate!Theres 3 employees behind the counter calling patients.Finally after 20.minutes an employee came from behind the counter to assist. I was educated and fortunate enough to sign in. Yet; being my 1st time there. I didnt know there was a different small...unprofessional form in which I was suppose to sign in different. I watched 3 other people go in in which I watched come in the door. Irritation set in. Then...After One Hour and 30 minutes. I finally got called back for a Physical. The Male Nurse Practitioner was great, the student in which did my vitals was nice. But being a Front Desk Receptionist myself. I feel that since Cleveland Clinic is involved and carrying THE CLEVELAND CLINIC logo. Stat Care should hire a Help Desk, an information Clerk to assist the Clientele, especially the elder and handicap ♿️ people. To Make it an easier process known and unknown. Also....Clean the rooms up. The floors look like someone tried to cover up a murder scene. The paper on the exam table everywhere. A upgrade is needed. My Opinion!!! No More Stat Care for ME. Also teach the Registration Clerks Customer Service and they need to be caring and their appearance including hair and uniforms matter. A PIG STY!!!

2022-06-02We had to take our Grandson in due to a sore throat-just not well. Was seen pretty quick but then after we left the nightmare began- NO PRESCRIPTIONS!!!! They in fact did call them in to ur Giant Eagle here in uniontown- at 7PM last night we called them-said they called the place as the DR left off the amount of pills and they havent heard back-I too have called 4 times last night and twice already this morning-no response and they dont even have the nice in them to call me back-last time I called I even was crying while leaving the message- My advice-DONT GO THEReWe are probaly going to hgave to drive back there with our sick Grandson to get him his meds-UNREAL and yes I am upset-VERY MUCH!

2022-06-19An absolute dumpster fire of a facility. I am not concerned with waiting when there is an influx in patients, but when healthcare professionals just simply don’t care about the ones they even take care of, there’s a problem. They did not even come close to going in the order of people who checked in. The wait was 2 and a half hours for horrendous service.

2021-12-24I got tested for covid there! My results we’re supposed to be within 24 hrs it’s been 48 hrs nobody has called! If you call up there nobody answers the phone but the receptionist who tells you to leave a voicemail an they will get you an returned call I’ve put 3 calls in and no returned call! When they open I’m driving up there! It’s crazy to know they could careless about patient care! Cleveland clinic better get their patient care better or this will look bad as a part of one of their hospitals in the north east Ohio region ! I worked for the clinic for 7 yrs n this is by far the worst service I’ve ever had!!!

2021-11-30Signed in, received text messages for 4 hrs telling me how many people were in front of me. Then the text messages stopped. After 5.5hrs of waiting the friendly nurse at the door went up to inquire why I hadnt been seen. My name had been kicked out of the system and I would need to sign in again. I told them they were crazy to think I would sit there a minute longer after wasting my whole day. I will never go to Mercy for anything again. If they are the only hospital open and its life or death, I will ask them to drive me to the morgue at least there I wont waste my time waiting to be seen.

2021-12-03Been sitting here for 2 hours. Looking right now on chart saying live not busy as they just told someone 2 hour wait. If I would have known I wouldnt have come 2 hours ago when the live not too busy chart lied to me then. Please let people know ahead of time instead of letting me pay for a TB test and stuck here for 2 flippin hours. Next time Ill go to CVS. :(

2022-01-03Waited over 2. Hours and still wasnt registered. I left they text me saying how busy they were and that I had 32 people ahead of me. Wow, I counted 18 in waiting room and only 1 was there longer than me. Never again

2021-09-22Long waits..walk ins get waited on last.. 3 hrs later I get to see a dr. Treated me for a UTI, but my urine test came back as negative for a UTI.Told me I would have to wait 24 hrs to get lab results and gave me a rx for antibiotics that did not work because I have some other issue..called 3 days later and no answer for 2 more days..they obviously dont answer calls..told me to come back in,but really couldnt do anything because I need x-rays. I will never go back

2021-08-13My partner came here yesterday due to having pain on one side of his face and ear pain. They made him wait for 3 hrs to be seen and dismissed his symptoms. They told him to go home because he was fine and that he might have water in his ear. Thankfully he went elsewhere! He has Bell’s Palsy. Thankfully, they gave him the care he needed.
