I called to see how long of a wait for a party of 10, I was placed on hold, she came back on phone and asked me how many children and I replied 6. She then asked me how old were the kids and when I gave the ages she put me on hold again. She then came back on the phone and told me they wouldn’t be able to accommodate us tonight. When I clarified and said so if we came in you would not see us because we have children? She said yes. This was absolutely absurd to me, how can you refuse service. I wasn’t rude, never raised my voice. I’m still baffled by this and I was placed on hold to speak with a manager and no one came back on the phone. I still don’t know what if he hell happened.
Its mellow mushroom, not sure why people get excited about this place. Ive been to several of these across the east coast with friends who drag me and all same ok pizza. Worth checking out at least once in life. Prices were never good imo and theyve since raised them. This location has poor service. Just slow service from looking at other tables. May have been a bad day but just sharing my experience.
Husband and I and our twin toddlers (1.5 years) went here for lunch today (arrived round 11:45). When we arrived there were only 2 tables filled with other customers and they already had their food, so placed an order quickly with the waiter and got to coloring while kids were in their high chairs.Time continues to go by and more tables start getting filled and our kids start getting antsy. 30 min in our son couldnt stay still and husband and I started taking turns taking him out to walk. Now at the hour point, both of our kids are becoming extremely upset and we are noticing that other tables have their food (who came in after us) but we finally just got word that our pizza was in the oven. We also had ordered a kids meal with the pizza and it hadnt come out either (how long does it take to cook meatballs?!)Few minutes after our kids went into a full tantrum and we had to leave. Staff was helpful in turning around our check and while husband loaded son I paid while calming our daughter. The resturant manager was extremely apologetic and helped us take the pizza out to the car once done. Why Im writing this is1) I want to make VERY clear that pur waiter and the inhouse manger was incredibly kind and helpful at the end when our kids were in meltdown mode but2) providing feedback that this was just NOT a good experience as a family with young kids. The food was good, but the slowness and lack of follow up until the end just isnt worth it. And given other tables seated after us got their food BEFORE us makes me think they forgot our order and just placed it late.UPDATE:I changed this from 2 stars to 1 star because after eating both my husband and I got sick from eating our pizza the next day. Really disappointed in the whole situation.
This was our first visit here, and let me tell you... Im pretty sure that weve found a new favorite place to eat!! The second we walked in the door the we were totally digging the atmosphere, I mean you can never go wrong with C3PO, R2D2 & Yoda greeting you at the front entrance foyer!Once we were inside the restaurant we were immediately greeted by Sydney and seated at a table. Sydney was also our server, and quickly took our drink order. He ordered Coca-Cola and I got plain Tea. When she came back with our drinks she immediately took our lunch order. We decided to try the Magic Mushroom Soup to start off with, which came out quickly and did not disappoint!! It was so creamy and it was like a mushroom flavor explosion in your mouth! We both agreed that regular mushroom soup would never ever be the same. Lol.For lunch he ordered the Sausagefest Calzone with a side of Spicy Ranch. I ordered The Elevated Cobb Salad without tomatoes (allergic) and the Balsamic Vinegarette dressing. Once our lunches came out we were even more thrilled with this place. The portions were huge, and the flavor on both of our lunches was frikin amazing!! He could only eat about 1/2 of his Calzone and I probably only got through about 1/4 of my salad. So we asked for to go boxes, and Sydney immediately asked us if we wanted to also take our drinks and if wed like a bag to carry everything.Sydneys service was phenomenal! She was always pleasant, and had a smile on her face and truly looked like she enjoyed her job! In fact, every employee we encountered was also smiling and pleasant. 🤯 That in itself was very refreshing!!The portions and quality of food was outstanding! The restrooms were clean,, and smelled good. The entire ambiance of the restaurant was very chill and inviting. We LOVED the use of all the reclaimed Wood! Plus, all COVID Health guidelines were being followed by all the staff we seen at the restaurant, and all the tables were set up socially distanced. We will most definitely be returning, with our kids next time lol, so that they can enjoy it with us!!
Soup wasnt cooked and was sent out cold. Our pizza was DRENCHED in olive oil, toppings were not adequately placed on the pizza, and some of the dough didnt seem cooked thoroughly. On top of it all, members in my family developed extreme food poisoning.Couldnt pay me to eat here again, and for the price? Save yourself the trip, the money and your health.
Horrible customer service!!! Every time I order carry out its never ready on time. Typically have to wait additional 30 minutes. Last night was no exception. After waiting a total of 1 1/2 hours for my pizza it wasn’t even cooked. Raw bacon, yep RAW! Managers don’t care to make anything right either.
Was a very cozy place. Great for small or big groups. Our waiter was super nice and very friendly. They have eco-friendly straws as well! Which is a BIG plus for me, love it. The pizza is good. I would say its about average, BUT thats comming from a picky pizza person haha. In short, I would reccomend you go try it. There is definately something for everyone and so much variety! I want to go back myself and try more. :)
The last time I had awesome customer service. Vegan or not, no one leave with this undercooked of a pizza, you shouldnt sell anything like it at this point. Raw crust? I Told them I cant eat it again, because I cant and I got yelled at and received a burnt pizza in return. If you cant make a cooked vegan pizza, dont sell it. I havent returned because I was disrespected and because the manager was upset for handing out a raw pizza that may have lost him money, but if its because he thought he could but I def spoke up but this isnt the first they have heard of their undercooked pizzas. The only reason I went back is because they worked on it to make sure it was cooked and the last manager or the one off that day really did make a great cooked vegan pizza and they have a good selection of toppings and BBQ tempeh with pineapple which is a great idea for a vegan pizza. Maybe another location? Maybe not the company?
Total garbage experience. Ordered online during a dead time between lunch and dinner. Had a pickup time 45m later. Showed up 5m later than my time and they still hadn’t made the damn pizzas. They have me wait while they run around like chickens with their heads cut off, lost and confused. They then tell me they never started the pizza and it would be another 45 minutes. Will never come back again. Horrible customer service
Weve enjoyed the NA Mellow Mushroom many times over the years, but its gone downhill lately. Service is very slow, and this last visit, my husband had to wait 15 minutes for his beer and our pizza came out missing two of the toppings. The server took the pizza back and they added the missing toppings, but I think they should have taken the pizza off our bill. Its one thing if theyre slammed with customers but we were one of the only ones there but to have this kind of service when there are more staff than customers is disappointing. Wont be back again.
Good food. Fun atmosphere. Amazing variety of pizzas! I recommend one of the specialty pies but if youre not feeling adventurous, they have a Build Your Own option. They also have great sandwiches. Made fresh with fresh ingredients. The slices of avacado on my club were beautiful!
Great atmosphere and really great pizza. We have visited this location a few times and have had great food and a great time every visit. The staff tends to be well trained but laid back making it a very casual atmosphere. The kitchen is an open concept and my kids like watching the cooks toss the dough as they make the pizzas. While Mellow Mushroom is a chain, each location has a section of local favorites. This one is no exception and while I cant be sure I suspect they rotate the selections. Always worth the look to see some additional flavors of pizza to check out.Of course, the pizza is what they are all about. An eclectic collection to flavors to be sure. Holy Shiitake and the Buffalo Chicken are two of my favorites. The Buffalo Chicken, especially, is delicious and I dont hesitate to say it is the best buffalo pizza Ive had.The pretzels are a favorite starter. They take the pizza dough and bake them into soft pretzels. They serve them with marinara but you have to add on the beer cheese. It makes the pretzels and if there is any left, you can dip your pizza crust in it for a bonus round with your meal. The menu is rounded out with other choices. The hoagies are good and the salads look fresh and delicious. I cant speak to the salads... havent had one. I cant get past the pizza.
I really wanted to like this place. I ordered a cheese burger no onion. Burger had extra onion when I got home. Also says burgers come with spuds. No spuds. Pizza was pretty good. Placed a to go order. Told 45 mins. Waited over 1 hour for a small pizza and a burger to go. They were not that busy. This place would be so convenient. Maybe it was a fluke!
Stopped in to try it on a Sunday a little over a month ago. The pizza is the best around, and service is even better. Since venturing in, we have made it a tradition to get pizza every Sunday from the mellow mushroom. AJ has taken care of us every time, whether at the bar or at a table, and goes above and beyond. Definitely a hidden gem in central Ohio, not just New Albany.
Very friendly service. Nice separation between booths, but if the restaurant had been busy, I might have been a bit uncomfortable at a table. This location has an open kitchen, and the staff was masked. I did see someone talking to kitchen staff who was not masked and around the food. Fun and slightly different themes at different locations. Reasonable prices. This is a go to restaurant for our family!
Great food. Great atmosphere. And more importantly excellent service every single time. Today, specifically, Maggie took care of our table of 5. Lots of requests and back and forth. She was super friendly, talkative, felt like family! I would be proud to have her as an employee representing my business! What a bundle of joy and energy. Thank you Maggie for making our experience this afternoon fun. Good food was just a bonus. 🙂
Placed an order with email confirmation at 549 for a 730 pickup. Showed up just prior to 730 and the order was not ready. My family waited in the car for 35 mins until the order was finally ready at 805. The pizza with unique toppings was warm, but the pepperoni and sausage was completely cold and had clearly been sitting out waiting on the other one to cook. We will not be ordering from here again because clearly the manager and kitchen are unable to handle online orders placed well in advance.
We usually love mellow mushroom and have enjoyed all of the times we’ve eaten there until this most recent trip. We placed our order through the website and when we got there for pickup we were told the pizza just went into the oven and we would have to wait a few minutes. This was fine by us because we were expecting fresh, hot pizza. When we got home, which is about 5 minutes from the New Albany location, our pizza was cold and soggy. Not only did we have gross pizza, we had to wait for it as well. On top of that multiple slices had pieces of chicken with large chunks of fat throughout. For the price I am extremely disappointed. We will not be returning.
I cant believe in 2021 they dont allow online ordering. Tried to do so last evening and that newfangled option is an unavailable option. So I called in was placed on hold for about 20 minutes and then told it would be a couple of hours to get a carry out pizza. Sorry I even bothered.
Food was incredible, service was incredible, atmosphere was absolutely amazing. Everyone who worked in this building was so nice, the paintings and sculptures were absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend the pretzel bites, they come with an incredible beer cheese sauce, and the cheese bread when dipped in that sauce absolutely kills. If I could rate this place more than 5 stars I would
$30 dollars for a (circular) pizza, but it looked like a football. Super uneven, thick and massive on one side, paper thin on the other. I’ve worked at a myriad of pizza places. Sometimes, you’re short staffed and you rush things out, or you have a new hire who flubs it. That’s okay, but at some point during the serving process, a kitchen manager or supervisor HAS TO be doing quality control.Worse still, spent $6 freaking dollars for extra, extra bacon. The pizza didn’t have any bacon on it whatsoever.Super unimpressed. If I’m going to spend this much money on pizza of all things I expect to get my money’s worth.
Service .... A+++! I have worked in the industry for years so I know good service. My boyfriend and I came in on a Wednesday Evening. IMMEDIATELY after entering we were kindly greeted by 3 hosts. They were so sweet and kind. Our server ( I want to say Rachel ) was very attentive and sweet. She brought us our drinks immediately, gave us her recommendations - it was our first time - and really was just an all around great server. The pizza we got was pretty good - I will probably get something different when we come back - but even if the food wasnt all that great I would come back just for the service. Thank you Mellow Mushroom for providing a great experience.... I always appreciate great service!
Really good and creative styles of pizza with a funky view. The beer selection is fantastic! Dont be afraid to try something new. The place gets busy pretty quick so come early or be ready to wait. Service is fairly quick so check out the menu before you come so you can be ready to order.
Good food terrible service. I can’t get a discount waiting forever so I will do the only thing I can. Here is the review. Would it be so difficult to tell me the correct time. Was told 30-40 min for carry out I was waiting in the restaurant as was not worth driving home for that. At 1 hr was told another 15-20 min. I complained that I was told 30-40 min. 1hr was on the ticket for time promised. That is a lie and that is why I am so upset. It took more than 2x time promised. If you are going there be aware of how long.
Visiting New Albany and had lunch on two consecutive days at Mellow Mushroom. Had Portabella Mushroom Salad and husband had Ritz Burger and both were excellent. For lunch today, we shared the Shittake Pizza and was really really good! Excellent ambience, food and service! Will be back again to try more on the menu before heading back to Las Vegas.
Long story short, I placed a pick up order for a future time and it was running quite late once I arrived to pick it up. The staff working tonight at the take-out area were not only extremely nice, but one guy (and I wish I would’ve gotten his name) informed me he had given me a refund for waiting so long. I was extremely appreciative for that kind gesture. His initiative to make it right without me even saying anything was great customer service. Regardless, the food was amazing as always and thank you again for going above and beyond.
Great salads and average everything else. Severs are nice but they cant wait to close the place at 9:00. Open until 10 but cleanup up, turning chairs over and turning tvs off at 900. Makes you feel like they dont want you there. Dont show up after 730 if you want to eat
Was told pizza would be ready in 20 min. Apparently they forgot to put our order in so had to wait there while they made the pizza. Was never told an accurate time of how long until the pizza was done, just kept getting lied to. A little honesty goes a long way. Did get offered something to drink after waiting 45 min, how nice and got our money refunded. You would think it they wanted us to think highly of them they would have at least gave us a free pizza for next time. On the other hand wouldnt have used it because we will never go back there again. Pizza was good. Customer service TERRIBLE.
Love the food! However, due to bad service we likely wont be going back. Heres a suggestion for management: its a really bad idea to give 40 pizzas for a catering job priority over dining room customers at 6:00 on a Friday. If wed have known in advance of sitting down that it would take an hour to get food, we could have gone elsewhere. Instead, our server decided to tell us 30 minutes after we ordered.
Here is the deal:This place makes WEIRD PIZZA. And honestly... Thats the point. If you want to try something exciting. This is the place to go. For regular pizza, it isnt anything special. You might as well go to Mios or any other premium pizza place. But if you want EXOTIC, this is the place.I got MUSTARD on a Pizza. And it suprisingly worked out. I liked it. The cubano was a suprisingly decent pizza. Though the flavors were scary and confusing.I did not like their take on the Hawaiian pizza. The pesto took over the entire pizza and it was hardly etible.Their mushroom specialty pizza was amazing. I should have figured with a name like Mellow Mushroom that this would be their best pizza. Also they use BIG chunks for vegies. This is a warning. Because of the vegi chunks, the onions and peppers dont get cooked to a mush. I dont prefer them that way, because they still crunch. All in all, wild experience, service was good. Place was clean. I will come back, but for nothing else than to try all the weird pizzas.
My boyfriend had never been to Mellow Mushroom before and I haven’t been in years. My only experience was at the Dublin location. When we first got there, I was disappointed to see how small the specialty pizza menu has gotten. Then, we waited well over an hour for a large pizza with barely an apology and no offer of anything to compensate nor even a visit from a member or the management staff. The table behind us left before their pizza even arrived. For a $38 tab, I’m quite disappointed. I only counted 12 tables in the restaurant and saw 4 servers and at one point, 7 people in the kitchen. As a former server and restaurant manager, this is inexcusable. The pizza was good but I can’t imagine we’ll give this location another shot.
This was our 4th visit to this location. We always go after a young ones dance recital. The food is always exceptionally good and plentiful! Love those pretzel bites with beer cheese and marinara. All in our group had pizza - pepperoni and the great white. I had a hoagy with ham and mushroom that was delicious! Our server was great and attentive without hovering over us. Cant wait to go here again. Please try this establishment, you will enjoy😄!
My family and I went to this restaurant and what a big variety of food to choose from. Its a very popular restaurant because there was quite a line to get in. The food was perfect. The staff was very helpful and courteous. We werent rushed at all. It was a nice family dinner. Since families are welcomed there it can get a bit loud, but they have the larger televisions there to watch sporting events.
Mellow Mushroom is a bit hardier than your typical pizza place. The pizza is heavy and the crust is fantastic with lots of cheese. We had the veggie pizza and the pretzel bites. Veggie pizza was great but the pretzel bites were defiantly more bread stick like. Service was attentive and friendly. Parking was a bit of a hassle at dinner time. Great drink selection by the way.
Service has been great. House Salad & the balsamic vinegarette dressing were very good. And the small (10) Veg-Out pizza was tasty. I would recommend they dont stretch the dough as thin in the middle and less on the edge. The fireplace was a nice fearure to sit next to.
My family and I enjoy coming mellow mushroom. Everyone enjoys the laid back environment and unique pizza selection. The staff is always friendly and willing to adjust any pizza or calazone to our liking. They also have a military discount, which is just another good reason for me to go.
Tonight was the first time i had pizza, and calzone from mellow mushroom. It was the best i have had in a very long time. Lots of cheese, meats, and the dipping sauce was outstanding. Finally found a pizza place that I will visit more often. Thanks for the great food.
We had an amazing experience using Mellow Mushroom for catering our work event yesterday. Not only was their food amazing, they went above and beyond to help us with last minute plans for their delivery person to pick up a birthday cookie at Kroger for one of our employees, and delivered it along with their food. Great experience, and highly recommend!!!
The two stars from this review come from my server, Caleb. Without his great service, I would have wanted to leave Mellow Mushroom NA 0 stars. As soon as I walked into the restaurant, 4 hosts were laughing and talking amongst themselves, without acknowledging my presence at all. I had to interrupt them and their gossiping in order to inquire about the party that I was there to join. When I asked if the other guests in my party had arrived, the group gave me blank stares, almost like they weren’t even going to answer. Finally, one girl finally pointed at my party and then proceeded to continue the group conversation. I was very surprised by this lack of costumer service from a group that didn’t seem to be out of high school. Throughout my meal, I continued to glance over at the host stand and saw that the group was in constant conversation during my hour long meal. It just seemed to be very unprofessional from my point of view as a paying customer. Finally, when my party left the restaurant, I also noticed that we were not greeted at all when passing the host stand once again. I will not return to this location.
First time trying it, and probably the last. For $70 pizza, it should be the best. The crust is great, if you like it chewy and thick.... but thats ALL you eat. And for toppings being $3.50 each... there should be more. Theres like 4 pieces of sausage on a large. The cheese is nothing spectacular, either. If you want pizza... save the gas, stay home and order Donatos. If you want to spend $70 for crust this is the place.
The best Mellow Mushroom Ive been to. Great location, great atmosphere, and always really good, unique pizza. Minus a star because they seem to get overwhelmed easily. Mellow Mushroom is never fast because of how they make their food, but a few times its just been too long here. At least the restaurant itself is super cool and its not horrible having to wait! Still highly recommended.
Very cozy atmosphere with a rustic look, and a nice looking bar. Sat at the bar, service was very prompt and friendly. The bruschetta was amazing and a nicer plating/presentation than would be expected at a pizza place. The House Special pizza is loaded with toppings, and a small was definitely enough for two people. There are plenty of pizza places in New Albany, but it is the care with which their food is prepared that sets the Mushroom apart from the rest. I will definitely be back to try their other items.
Great pizza! We went for the princess dinner, the princess spent much less time with my daughter than she did at the other tables and we were the last to see her, kinda sad for my daughter who waited oh so patiently, but the mellow mushroom people were fantastic and I cant hold that against them
Good food usually. Take out experience often leaves something to be desired. Usually show up a bit early, almost always I am forgotten about and have to go up and ask about the food. Last time was told they would bring it to me, 30 min after it shoulda been ready had to go to the desk. Of course food was cold, rushed out to get home, forgot kids side. Just annoying for a 50 dollar pizza trip.
Weve been to the New Albany Mellow Mushroom several times and the result has always been disappointing. Family visiting from out of town wanted to go, we tried to warn them but we still ended up going last night. We had a party of 6, we ordered 3 pizzas just before 8pm, the first pizza came to our table at 930 and the 3rd at 945 so not only did we wait way too long but then our food didnt even come out together. The pizza was good and so was our waiter but we felt bad for him because the kitchen staff was lazy and made his job difficult. We will not be going back to this location.
Awesome pizza, me amd my friend really enjoyed the dine in experience. We had to wait for 45 minutes as there was a waiting at the restaurant. Very neat and well maintained place. Our hostess checked with us if we are doing ok or if we need anything. Very good service and experience.
My parents and myself went to this restaurant for dinner on a Sunday night. The restaurant was pretty slow but we still waited 50 MINUTES for 1 small pizza and 1 large pizza!! Our server didn’t even come over to explain anything or let us know. We had to flag her down around the 40 minute mark to ask what the heck was going on. No apology, no nothing. Then our pizzas arrive. They were not even that warm which leads me to believe they have just been sitting around. I got the BBQ chicken pizza.....hardly any chicken on it. I had to SEARCH for a few chicken pieces on it. My parents got the mushroom speciality pizza....same thing, hardly any mushrooms on it.Will not be going back!!!
Family night out in the town of New Albany. Mellow mushroom always has very tasty hummus to start the meal off. It was busier than normal so the main food came out a little later than normal. My wife enjoyed the potatoe and bacon pizza and the calzone I had was great. I would recommend getting a pie here sometime.
Only getting that 3rd star bc they had a ballon lady come by and make the kids ballon animals. We ordered a pizza and that came out fairly quick but the kids mac n cheese was another 10 mins. And it seems like the last order of pretzel bits for a kid- didnt come out til we were done with the first part of the meal. We were comped that kids meal. Average. Had some great potential with the different pizza toppings options, but our visit was just okay.
I wish I would’ve taken pictures of the wonderful food we had but we were all starving LOL so instead I will just say thank you from the bottom of my heart for putting us in a side room so that we could spend some time together celebrating one of our coworkers having a baby. We all work remotely so we don’t get to see each other in person very often. Thank you for making this time special for us. I can’t wait to come back with the family :)
I LOVE The Mellow Mushroom! I was in Columbus for almost 2 weeks for work, and had the chance to visit all 3 locations in the area. This is by far the best one! New, nice decor, and the staff is great. I had the same waitress - Kaczlyn (sp?) - twice, and shes just delightful! This was the 6th MM location Ive been to :)
Had a graduation party there sept. 9th with 18 people. Needless to say I spent a pretty penny, but the night was full of fun, good food, good drinks, friendly staff UNTIL I was speaking with my last guest before they departed when the waitress came and asked if I liked everything. I said yes, thank you, everything was great. She said well... your bf, or guy friend, or fiance, or whatever he is only tipped me $20.00 and I said oh? And she said yeah, I figured you didnt know that he tipped but maybe you want to talk with him? Im like. Uhm.. ok. And she told the amount the bill was and the tip loudly for my remaining guest to hear. Was very rude especially to ask for a higher tip when only pizza was brought and 2 pitchers. Everything else was self serve. No point to tip much for than especially if the restaurant just made over $250.00.Pizza was amazing though!!
The sinks are wonderful. Like imagine that your sink breaks and you go to get a new one. Rather than going to a local hardware store, you go to God himself. God would give you this sink. The sinks are $3,350, which shows that they really invest in customer experience. My lifes ambition is to purchase on of these sinks. I plan on using my college savings to buy one. I wont be able to afford a house, since I have no formal education and cant keep a job since I spend too much time with my sink and it creeps employers out. My mom calls me sometimes. Grace, she says through her tears, please stop this! We want our daughter back! But I dont say anything. I only ask for her to send soap refills. I sit on the side of the road now. Sometimes, passerbys drop coins in my sink. I thank them, but I secretly want them to stop. The sink doesnt like coins being thrown on him. He cries, but is so sweet that he puts up with it because he knows I need the money. Thank, you sink. Thank you.Food was pretty good, I guess.
This was our first visit to this location. Service was good, pricing was reasonable.. Great presentation of the food. The food was good, just not amazing like our visit to a different location. Could have been our selection, well have to try something different the next time.
First time at THAT location & all was great, as usual!! Neat bar - physically/esthetically & the food is ALWAYS great!! THATS why I seek out ye ol Mellows whenever Im on the road - we live in WV & dont have a Mell Mush around us.Hint: order some beer cheese WITH your pizza for dipping crust into --- oooOOOOHHHHsssSSSHHHYYEAH!!!
The tofu hoagie here owns me. Its the only thing I ever order, and the tofu is always cooked perfectly (not an easy feat for the inexperienced). My only complaint is that it lacks consistancy; I often call in for takeout on my way home from work and what comes on the sandwich is always a grab bag. Sometimes theres vegan cheese, sometimes there isnt. Sometimes theres mushrooms, sometimes there isnt. Sometimes theres lettuce, peppers, and/or onion, and... You get it. Regardless, its pretty delicious.

2022-04-19This was a full salad according to the New Albany Mellow Mushroom location. About three pieces of lettuce and the bowl 80% empty. My wifes spinach salad was no more full than this as well. I guess this is how they are saving money in the era of record setting inflation. Passing their savings onto the customer.

2021-06-08Love this establishment. Great for a family lunch or an evening of craft flights & music. The service is outstanding. Everyone on staff seems to really care if youre happy.Wow, the food....this is what P&P wish they were. Amazing crust for all the pizza options. Chewy, firm, crunchy & golden. Huge topping assortment with lots of variety in all toppings. The prices are surprisingly low/affordable for the quality. *The owner was a regular in a retail shop I used to manage. Hes an awesome dude. Always friendly and respectful. :) *

2022-02-07We went to a family lunch here for the first time for all of us. We ordered two appetizers, the Cloud Nine wings and the avocado smash with bruschetta and toast points. The wings were twice baked, now that being said, they were amazing. The sauce of garlic parm was thick and delicious, parmesan cheese coated everything. The only way they would have better is to be properly fried. The avocado smash was the favorite. The toast points were on punto. The avocado smeared over the buttery toast and topped with bruschetta definitely warmed up the appetite. For our pizza we tried the Havana Affair. It was truly a uniqur experience. The crust was a fresher, crispy, chewy ny style, but better. The toppings were amazing and created a taste we have never had before. There was jerk chicken, salami, diced pickles, two kinds of cheese and a mayo mustard drizzle over the top. Everyone of us loved it. My oldest cried eating it, said it was beautiful. We will definitely be back. Trying the hummus appetizer and getting a half mushroom special with half meats next time. Cannot wait.

2022-02-05Waited an hour when there was only one family in front of us. ELEVEN tables were Available and the hostess did not want to seat us until the kitchen got caught up…(they weren’t even busy!). Had we of been sat we would have had beverages for the wait vs. the cold door. Place seemed chaotic. Front desk/hostess needs to be welcoming; not our experience at all. Love Mellow Mushroom but this location is the worse I’ve been to by far.

2022-05-01Mellow Mushroom has a fantastic selection of pizza to choose from. I got Might Meaty, Pacific Rim, and Koenig Karma and all were delicious. Buffalo dip is a must try, and the pretzel bites are very good. Service was a little slow during a busy hour, but the quality of service made up for it. Overall great pizza, experience, and would recommend to anybody!

2021-08-07Worst and most expensive pizza Ive ever bought Ive had Lil Caesars that is better. Missing toppings(bacon) the dough was undercooked and still raw. Mostly crust. Legit 16 inch it had 6 inches of crust. The toppings were so sparce that each piece had one on it. Only way I ate half was cooking it when I got home. Was a horrible experience would not recommend.

2022-06-12First of all, we love mellow mushroom. I hope this visit was an anomaly. Also, the manager did what he could to make things right. My advice: 1) make absolutely sure your server knows exactly what ordered. 2) check with the server often while waiting for your food. 3) keep an eye on the kitchen, they appear to have some sub par kitchen staff. All in all, the food was good. If you go, be vigilant.

2022-03-30I love mellow mushroom pizza! This restaurant is very clean inside and the staff is extremely nice. The restrooms are also clean. Mellow mushroom pizza is a little different than the traditional Ohio style pizza. So if youre looking for something different, this is the place to go.

2022-05-20Service was great, the place was very busy. Food came out fresh and hot. I will definitely be dinning here again. My kids really enjoyed it and that says a lot.

2022-07-08It sucked- or else we ordered wrong thing. Meat to bun ratio was off. $12 sub with fat bun NOT toasted with little meat. Everything was fresh and looked great, just rather tasteless. Calzone had raw veggies and without sauce was also rather tasteless. Now we did not order pizza, but it looked really good.
