Meijer in other cities:
Great place for grocery shopping, wide variety of things to choose with good selections that have wide range of prices.I only gave them 4 stars tho b cuz in other departments I find their prices to be a little high for the kind of merchandise their selling since some of it feels like Walmart quality with Target or even Kohls type prices, but if u r going just for groceries u cant miss with them, and their customer service and later hours of operation (open until midnight) really make up for the higher prices they want for their other merchandise.
Huge store. Helpful employees so far but its newly opened. Two big areas for self checkout, one on each end of the regular registers. Has a cafe and a counter to getsandwiches etc. Has 3 electric charging stations for electric cars on the right side of the parking lot. Laketran bus comes into the back of the parking lot and stops at a shelter. Can weigh your own produce and print a label for faster check out. Big pet department, not so big home improvement or auto section. Only 2 bathroom, in the middle in front of the checkout area andone in the middle of the back of the store. That one for the woman only has 3 stalls and very small waiting area. Never seems to be a empty one and always waiting for an employee to finish using it. Dont they have their own bathroom in employee only areas?
Staff is very helpful but stick is lacking. The new ad comes out every Sunday. 2 Sundays in tbe last two months, I decide to go shopping. Not a thing on sale was available. Shopped at 5 pm today. 10 of the sale items wrre completely empty. All over tje store: bread, produce, meat, frozen. They need to make sure they have staff on Sunday to restock throughout the day.
They need to not let you enter on the end by the beauty items after 8p if theyre gonna lock the door and make you walk from the end by the food not even 40 minutes later. It was freezing cold and we had an infant with us and we had to walk the green mile to get to our vehicle. Not only that, the self checkout customer service rep watched us head that way and said nothing. Thankfully the customer service representative saw us and told us the doors on that end were closed. On an upside... I bought my grandbaby some tiger barb fish and a fish tank from there and the experience with the guys who got my fish for me was a 5* experience. Meijer needs to add more air pumps for the smaller tanks they sell and maybe add a bell back there by Pet Supplies for customers who need help. I waited for 10 minutes before going to find someone to help me. The person I found said, I dont know, I work up front with the cashiers.. okay what does that have to do with finding someone to assist me with fish? Thats what I asked him, if he could find someone to help me... I didnt ask him to help me. I said well can you find a manager?? He was just gonna leave me standing there. Wow! SMH at this younger generation, is all I can do, man o man they are lazy...
Good deals on produce, but they can change very fast. Produce is very fresh tge vast majority of the time. Bakery is good but prices vary day to day on items like pies. My major issue with the store is their chicken. It is the worst quality I have ever seen. I dont know if they cut it themselves or order it but its terrible. Cut so close to the bone it always has gross bloody segments, and has been weirdly soft and slightly discolored on the edges. I always regret when I forget and end up buying it because I have to spend 15 min trimming a 1/4 of it off. This has been a constant issue for well over six months.
Mentor store is clean and organized. The staff at the Mentor location are great. Due to the pandemic, they keep the shelves merchandise the best they can with what arrives on their trucks. Meat Department is always great, well stocked with awesome employees. Always a pleasure to shop at this location.
Awesome employs that greeted us at the door. Along with these employees the prices were unbeatable. A bag of cherries that was 5 dollars at Whole Foods, was only two dollars at meijers. Great store, along with deli. The only issue was the corn I bought didnt have much flavor, but for 10¢ Id say it was worth it. Regardless Im totally coming back.
Other than me waiting till last min for stocking stuffers. They were wiped out. I got a deal on a air fryer and a Keruig. They had ok clearance. The stuff I wanted didnt ring up correctly then what the rack said. They didnt adjust the price so I had 2 pass wasnt worth it.
Love the store BUT what in the world is up with the bathroom faucets. WHY is it that nobody else is bothered by this? I am bothered that there is no flow or pressure. It is crucial to wash your hands right now and it cant happen here. Hand sanitizer is not good enough or a proper alternative. Awhile back I had 5 star review but the fact I contacted the company and nobody is responding shows they do not appreciate me or any of their customers. I also find it extremely rude that they made 8 of their closer spots for store pickup. What about customers that have trouble walking that might be temporary therefore they wouldnt have the handicap card. There is plenty of scenarios of why this is just rude and inconsiderate. If this store wants to have pick up then they should come up with another way of doing it instead of taking prime spots away. I couldnt wait to this store opened, I even signed up for mPERKS 12 days before the store opened and now I am having so many reasons to think I was wrong for feeling so excited. STOP BEING RUDE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!
Thanks to their marketing department! Our family was able to PAY for our turkey at only .33 cents per pound. Unlike the fake news that had me thinking we might be eating oatmeal and giving thanks for it rather than our traditional meal on our National Thanksgiving Day (of course, believing in the One True God: Father, Son, and Spirit grants us thankfulness every day-we dont need government proclamation anymore than we need such things on how to care for selves or neighbors).Praise be to Him the Giver of every good and perfect gift--bless His Name!
Wonderful addition to shopping in the Northern Ohio area. One stop shopping at its best. From sporting goods, to clothing to groceries, to cosmetics, to auto products all priced reasonablely. Store is bright and very well maintained. Employees are friendly and knowledgeable.Worth the drive to Mentor for shopping!! Storey is always clean, employees friendly eager to help, and knowledgeable.Fantastic shopping experience.!!!!!
Id rate this store a 5 if I hadnt saw what I saw last night. I shop here regularly and I like this store, but last night I came in just as hot foods were closing. I witnessed a staff member unloading the fried chicken from the display counter. She placed the chicken on a tray with wheels, then placed the metal serving pans that were in the case directly on top of the chicken along with a long metal pole (that was dirty/greasy) Ive worked in hot foods in a grocery store before, and generally, rather that throw the food out, its packaged and sold discounted as Cold Food. If this store doesnt still package and sell this chicken, and it all gets thrown away at the end of the night, fine, but if this chicken was to be sold, the fact that she casually placed pans, and a pole directly on top of the food is unsanitary. Ill continue to shop here, but not hot foods.
Well stocked! Helpful staff. A wide array of varieties! Reasonable prices. You can find gifts for anyone if any age. Higher prices for dairy products. However, they are better priced for gifts, toys, and other foods. Fresh produce! I enjoy going here. Few staff members but all were helpful.
The store itself is AWESOME. Think Walmart. Has everything at great prices. For some reason I always feel trampled and suffocated by other patrons. Busy energy with no direction. If you have crowd anxiety, this is not the place for you. If you can handle rude customers bumping into you constantly, pushing their way in front of you, standing in your personal space, well then the prices and offered coupons could be well worth it.
I shop here for groceries about 50% of the time. Great sale prices and great meat prices and selection. The produce department is huge, always fresh, always has what I need. Bakery has the best cakes around, hands down. Better than pricy bakeries, in both taste and decoration. Regular prices on dry goods can be a bit high compared to other local grocers, so I stick to sale pantry items and fill in elsewhere with more frugal options. Also great selection and sale prices on bath/body/beauty/wellness/cleaning supplies/paper products, but again the regular non-sale prices can be high when compared to other big box stores in town. I stock up when on sale. Toy department, household items, pet items are all on the pricier side as well. I love that their clothing options, limited as they are, are size inclusive.
They usually have everything we need. Produce is good. Meats have been good for us. Ive smoked several of the baby back and St. Louis style ribs along with a few boston butts. Very convenient and we enjoy using the shop and scan. Service has been great for us. Employees are nice and courteous.
With retail all good experiences start in the parking lot. Lady outside in the cold pushing carts and as we get out of our car she stops and says high welcome to Meijer. It was nothing but the best shopping experience starting with her. We probably passed four other stores we could have shopped at but we always go there because of great quality and customer service.
Its a store for sales, the sales are ok. But alot of the prices are a bit high at least for most items I always look for. Thats mainly what I go for. They have sub sections with odds ends and some clothes ect. But for most a store for groceries. It has alot of selection of alcohol as well.
Today was the first day of there sales ad and by early afternoon 1 pm to be precise most of the grocery items were not on the shelf. Had to hunt down someone to check for the items then only a one or two varieties were then available. Good deals but not in stock. Store is clean and staff friendly. But a frustrating shopping experience when the items you are shopping for have to be brought from the stockroom....each item.
Meijer has consistently sent me a treat every month. They got me to sign up for Meijer perks. The company sends me monthly coupons for so many cents off of certain products I regularly purchase. Sometimes, I even earn a reward coupon for a free item! Free is always a good value! One positive side...since Meijer is regional with different supply chains they may have a product when the big box retailer is out! I noticed that during the disruption during CoVid-19! and dont forget to stop by the home decor section when youre there. Meijer has plenty of products with encouraging words to inspire and uplift! 😊 Speaking of COVID-19, Meijer Pharmacy has the Moderna boosters 💉 in stock and I was able to make my appointment online with no problem! 😃
One of my favorite stores to visit but I always tend to spend way more than I intended. There is just so much to choose from and everything is such good quality I cannot stop myself. I especially love that you can check your stuff out as you are going through the store so when you are all done you pay and go! no lines to go through.
Ive avoided going since this place opened, Ive heard its not worth the hype and over priced. But im so mad I listened! Its so clean and organized in there! They literally have EVERYTHING, all priced at that it should be and even better with the weekly sales! The employees are super sweet and helpful and found everywhere you go!I will be returning often :)
This review is regarding curbside pick up. They are trying to make it work since shifting to an in house staff platform for the service but it’s not working. Have tried this 3 times and had to wait over 30 minutes in my car before receiving my order. I hope they can improve. When Shipt was doing the orders it was so much better with no wait times ever.
Hey it’s me, the forgotten one. I love this store but what happened to sandy?!?Was she shipped off to another store? My friend’s water broke when she was on sandy and was rushed to the hospital, now she wants her baby to ride sandy as she did that amazing night.WE WANT SANDY BACK!
This is a new store that I had never been to before. I was extremely impressed. Huge place. Its like a super Walmart on steroids. Neat, clean, organized, and massive inventory. I asked a clerk if they had a gluten free section. He took me directly to it. Then he took me to the next isle and should me more in a regular product row. He showed me how to read their labels to find gluten free options in all areas. I was impressed with the knowledge and understanding the clerk had. He didnt rush and spent ample time to inform me.The size and the selection of products was surprising. I stop to shop whenever I am in the area.
My girlfriend and I love Meijer. Its the best of Walmart, Target and Giant Eagle all rolled into one. They usually have great deals, have a great rewards program, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant! Plus, they are usually 24hrs (open till midnight during Pandemic hours).
The store is new and clean. The staff is accessible, friendly and helpful. The store is very well organized. Checkout was quick and efficient. Produce was hit and miss though. - Most of the fruit looked good but a number of the veggies needed some help. I love that its open 24 hours. I just wish the prices were better. The sales were kind of mehhh and not that great... too many of them were buy 1 get one 50% off or you have to buy 2 to get the sale price.
Today was my first time visit to this incredible store! I loved it!!! Customer service was amazing! Prices on sales stuff was amazing! I got grapes for 0.25 cents a pound, thats crazy cheep! I had pizza from deli. It was tasty! They have everything in that store. Both of my kids loved riding saidy the house. 1 cent a ride. We did 6 rides. I found cents just laying there by horse, and then we had no more and kids still wanted to do more lady at customer service just pulled out 3 cents out of her own wallet. I will go back for sure.
I cant help but to compare it to Walmart, except: waaaaay more choices in fresh produce, lots of sales, butcher with meats and seafood on display, shopping carts with working wheels... oh! And smaller carts available for those of you who have difficulty not driving shopping carts into items/people. This particular day was not crowded at all so Im unsure how the lines are normally. I will shop here again.
I placed an online order on Wednesday to be picked up on Friday between 11Am and Noon. I received an email that my order was placed and I would get notified when my order was ready. I did not get a notification that my order was ready or that it was not in stock. I called Friday afternoon to find out if my order was ready after being on hold for 30mins the store transferred me to online ordering. I waited another 15mins for someone to pick up and finally I spoke with someone. I gave my information/order number to the rep I was talking to. He called the store and they told him my order was ready for pickup. I went to the store at 4:45pm to pick up my item. I called the pickup phone number gave them my name and parking spot I was in. I waited until 5Pm and decided that since other people that showed up after me are getting their order that I should check and see what is going on. The girl that was bringing the orders out said my order was cancelled. (why didnt the person tell me that when I called and told them I was here to pick up my order?) I went in and talked to Customer service they called the online order manager to come talk to me. She stated that someone called all the people that orders got cancelled. I never received a call. I spent 45 min on the phone making sure my order was ready before I wasted my time and the store workers time. I followed up before I even stopped at the store to pick up my item. It would of been nice to get the correct information before I wasted almost an hour waiting to pick up my item at the store. Very disappointing customer service. In these challenging times communication is more important than ever. i hope you work on your customer service and communication so this doesnt happen to someone else.
Love doing a lot of our shopping here! Grocery, dog supplies, fish (pets), clothing shoes, ect. 10x better than Walmart and they have rewards/cupons for so many products too that can be mostly digital and then u get printed ones at check out too! I can get so many things accomplished at this store all at once vs going to multiple! And they have a primo water jug refill station which not many other local places have!
Loved it here! Its so big and the prices are really good. The day I went, colorful peppers were only a buck a piece. Theres plenty of room, unlike other grocery stores, so you can easily shop even if theres lots of people there. They have a lot of self checkout spaces as well as regular registers. I guess they have a reward program too, but I havent looked into that yet.
Went shopping for groceries and i noticed a lot of sale items had bare shelves in the freezer and refrigerated sections, was a bit bummed about that... but fairly good prices on everything else... also, went on a Sunday morning and it was very busy.. doesnt anyone go to church anymore??
Mispriced meat department items found in two locations were not honored at the price point indicated. I waited for a good amount of time for help and the man from the meat department mentioned that the steaks were even more expensive that what they rang up as. The signed price was not honored. I left. Many temp sensitive items stayed on the belt as the employee left them too. I wonder if they were re temped for safety before they were returned to the shelf or if they were thrown out (costing much more than it would have to honor the price. Bad business all around. I hope no one buys those items that we left out 🤢
I come here for all my grocery needs & beyond. Sushi is on point! I splurge about once a week on it. Only complaint is that they are frequently out of the things we buy often.I wish curbside didn’t have such a high limit (50 dollars) as I would utilize it more if it were 25-30 dollars.
If I could give this 0 stars I would. I absolutely HATE this store! I shop at Heinens and Giant Eagle Painesville which are GREAT stores. I thought I would try Meijer which is actually the closest grocery store to me. I also noticed that they offer a delivery service close by my house, so my first experience was delivery, and the Shipt service. 1st order was a disaster. I ordered only 6 items and 2 of the 6 items they were out of and substituted an item that was only the same in brand name. I did not want them and felt that the $15 in delivery + tip were excessive to pay for the wrong item and very poor service. I called and complained which was a horrible process of waiting on the phone for 15-30 minutes and then getting transferred from one dept. to another. I spent 1 hour on the phone and finally someone helped me and offered me the price of the wrong items in perks. That lead me to the next order so I could use my $25.50 dollars in perks and be done with that store. While placing the order I clicked on the No Substitutions button so they would not give me the wrong item again and double checked to make sure my perks were registered under my payment method before placing the order. Every thing looked right so I placed the order. I waited 10 minutes in the parking lot and they finally brought my order out. I couldnt believe it 6 of my items were substituted again even though I said No Substitutions on my order. I mentioned that after she brought out my order, and I was told that I did not have that on my order. How could inventories be so off on only 2 orders ceases to amaze me. Then I noticed that my perks were not used on my purchase even though they were on my account along with my credit card. My credit card was charged and that made me furious!! I called and asked to speak to the Store Manager who said he doesnt know anything about the Customer Service area (weird) and transferred me to customer service. I spoke to the group leader or Manager there (not sure) and she said she could not help me by crediting my card and using my Perks. She said I would have to call Corporate. At least 2 hours wasted on the phone for a total of 6 items since 8 other items were not available. Bad customer service, and HORRIBLE experiences. The person never credited my account on the items that were wrong on the 2nd order, but deleted the item off the order! Now I need to take everything back so I could get a credit on my credit card, and use my Perks like what they should have done in the first place. I would like recommend using Pick Up or Delivery at Meijers. The staff is way too incompetent and they are not at the level other stores are at right now. Target is amazing - try them if you havent already. Never makes mistakes and sends you a text message if they are out of something. Meijer needs to learn what to do from Target a much better store with fantastic customer service.
Its a hair more expensive than walmart but dose have a nicer layout, also customer service is usually good, sometimes they may ignore you but overall I like it and they have a coffee shop in side, that is actually really good. They dont have many game selections but its noth the worst
The deli department is great with a wide selection and very courteous helpful staff. They keep the store very clean and well stocked. This had become my main store to shop. The rewards are not much but its at least something compared to walmart where are no rewards at all.
Miranda at self checkout was extremely helpful. She went above and beyond to help my daughter and I find exactly what we needed and help us out at the self checkouts. She helped me save a ton of money using the meijer app and took the time to explain how it worked and to get the most savings. What a great experience and what a helpful essential worker!
I lived in southwest Ohio for some time and there was a Meijer store there. It was always busy and competitive to Walmart on pricing. The staff was friendlier and they had some unique items. Now one has opened in my neighborhood and it’s even better. It’s like those new pair of Jordan’s you got when you were 15....you could smell the “new” on them. The new Meijer is shining like some dishes. Everything is in place, aisles are full and people are friendly. Great prices and a great experience when you have to go shopping. Highly recommended.
Overall the store is pretty good. It severely lacks with the customer service desk. Calling there to ask a question or get information is near impossible if it requires talking to someone from the help desk. I actually feel like that extension doesnt actually have someone that will answer. I was on hold for almost a half hour before hanging up. Very very poor service at this desk.
Love it. Prices are outstanding. Sign up for the shoppers card which is loaded on your phone. When you enter the store it automatically will display on your phone. There is no physical key tag. This is very different. So you cant have a family account as far as I know. The store is huge but so far shelves are well stocked and clean. Love the sugar cookies.
If youre looking for a Awesome looking cake as well as a Delicious cake Myers is the place to go the icing as well as the cake is so delicious normally sometime I scrape icing off because its a little too much or tart tasting but I found myself eating all the icing leaving nothing behind, so good even the icing with the different colors you would think they may be tart , but the icing was awesome all the colors I had on this cake were awesome and tastes great.
Tried the online ordering. The website was super easy go use but going to pick up the items was a major hassle. We had a 9 - 10 puck up time. At 9 am they messaged me telling me they pushed the time back to 11-12. And that was fine. I get they are busy but I feel they should give you a heads up a little earlier. Then they messaged me again at 11am and told me it had been pushed to 1-2. Again a little more forewarning would be appreciated. We will see if it gets pushed back again. Update: they just moved it to 3-4pm
I have yet to buy ingredients for a meal from this place without having to throw something away in the middle of cooking. I’ve found rotten vegetables in the center of the pre-bagged items. The meats are extremely low quality. Not saving any money from shopping here when you’ll end up throwing away items you just bought.
The customer service at the mentor Meijer is excellent I was greeted with a good morning shelves were stocked very well even though this is a major holiday weekend the food items were available so I can feed my family I love shopping at Meijer actually every Meijer and I have been to have excellent customer service Bravo to the Meijer team !! 😀
This sore is huge and seems like it will be in great competition with Walmart and giant eagle in the area. Some prices seemed expensive but otherwise great deals all around the store. Very big but the aisles are clear and wide enough to see everything. All associates seemed very friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be returning.
Love it! Very friendly and helpful employees. Big variety of products. Produce, meat and bakery is wonderful!! I felt the prices were pretty good and they have great sales. The one thing people need to know is it is a supermarket with other things in it not. Groceries is their main focus. The other products they do have are of high quality though so dont expect Walmart pricing.
Very big. I wasnt all that impressed with the prices at all. Some higher than giant eagle and target. And I know my prices. Also before employees start putting back what they think is an abandoned shopping cart they need to look around to see what customers are around. I left a cart two aisles over while we were talking to pharmacy and they put all my stuff back. So she says it was there 10 minutes. No way. All I did was ask a question. Only two in deli. I literally waited 11 minutes until the two people on front of me were done. Granted they wanted certain cuts of lunch meat but still thats unacceptable. Checking out was fine. No wait there and cashiers actually waiting for customers. Other than the above we do like the store. By the way, I am a time study analyst hence why I know bosses long waits are
Today was my first day shopping at Meijer. Very bright and clean. I specifically came in for seeded watermelon after my Google search for seeded watermelon near me. There were watermelon in the seeded bin and so I grabbed one. I noticed on my way out the store the seedless sticker on it. I went back over to the bin and all of the ones in the seeded bin had seedless stickers. So disappointed. Whomever stocks produce should check that daily. I was going to eat it anyway, but it was sour.
I thought I would love Meijer, but now that its here I admit Im a little disappointed. The prices are a little higher than I thought they would be and theres really not a lot of deals on the beef. Being a nearly empty nester Im looking at smaller packages of meat, steaks were either huge and packaged one to a pack, or more realistic portions, but in packs of three. Maybe two-packs should be an option. Womens clothing is a disappointment as well. Not much choice there either. The bakery area has been busy each time I shopped, thats a good thing. Ample parking, including handicap parking, is available at each end of the building. Also at each end of the building is self checkouts. I generally use the human operator option for checkout solely to help keep those jobs open for people rather than AI. Today I only had 5 items to purchase and I was in a bit of a hurry. The scanners worked quickly with a short pauses needed between scans. I will return to shop now and then, just to check things out, but I think at this point I will continue to do my grocery shopping where I have shopped for about 7 years.
Love this grocery store. Much better membership program than most stores, rather get money off my grocery bill than garbage gas that I wont put in my car. Definitely want to shop the sales though as Id probably still shop at Aldis if the location of their stores were more convenient for me.
Minimal options for clothing and shoes compared to locations in Michigan. Absolutely no shoes for men smaller than a size 8-8.5, with the smaller sizes (under 10) only being in a select few styles. I was met with similar situations for pants, hoodies/sweaters, and t-shirts. There was absolutely nothing in my size. I am 53, 140#, with a 30-32 waist and a 28-30 inseam, both depending on brand, and typically a size small for shirts and hoodies. Of the limited styles available, they seemed to only supply large or bigger, with a few mediums found in there. Shelves and racks were well stocked, too, making me feel like this is typical for this location.Aside from that, I like Meijer and nothing else remarkable occurred during my trip to this location. I hope to see more stores open up in the area.(Note: Originally left review on 2/13/2021 after I visited this location, but Google applied the review to Mentor Commons Shopping Center.)
Nice range of products offered. Large store that has put their grocery along the outside wall of the store with other products in the middle. The few staff I interacted with were extremely helpful. They offer curbside pickup with purchase through their app.(7/2020) They are having a hard time keeping certain products in stock. Asking a staff member on the floor could give you a rough ETA. The app will show what is currently available and out of stock at a given store. This is a common problem at this time and it goes far beyond the local store or even their warehouse.
This store baited everyone in with their grand opening display. Now it is the exact opposite. Cant find anyone to help you, produce is disgusting, shelves in disarray and not being re-stocked. The items not being re-stocked are not pandemic shortages. Do not recommend.
This was my 1st time at this location. Apparently of this chain is new to this area. Each time Ive been in one of these stores I notice that the place is really clean. With staff is very nice. I havent shopped there too much because Im new to it but I think you should check it out.
It is a beautiful new store. It has all items one would expect in a super store. All the produce, meats and bakery items that I purchased were exceptional quality. There were lots of very friendly helpful staff members and the whole store was very clean and organized. The prices were great and they except coupons. It was a very enjoyable shopping trip 😃
First time Ive been here and I was impressed. I bought a very unique birthday cake that tasted great. I was going to buy balloons but they dont have the squirty stuff you put in the balloons so I got them from somewhere else but I did buy a gift card Fathers Day and birthday cards and gift wrapping. Check out was fast and easy
First time going there was today. I was surprised that they sold items like electronics and clothing because I thought they were just another grocery store. My main goal for going was to purchase meats and produce. I hate leaving bad reviews but I was shocked by how expensive their food was not to mention the low quality it had. Most of their meats are prepackaged and more expensive than whole foods. The produce was even worse than the meats. Lets just say Walmart has better produce from what I saw there and I refuse to buy produce from Walmart because its so bad.In short I left without buying anything. My wife and I agreed we will never ever go back.I read the positive reviews and wondered why and how but all I can say is go there yourself and see.
First this store is huge, so huge its kind of overwhelming, prices seemed to be good and the selections was great. Bought Sushi and it was fresh and phenomenal. The store was having its grand opening so there was way to many people but there was also lots of very courteous employees. Cudos to all the employees because there was an isle I went down that an employee didnt ask me if I needed help or was I finding everything I needed. A+. For the store being packed I didnt have to wait in a long line , was very quick. Another A+ Overall very good experience
Very clean, they have everything you need for all your household needs, from cloves of garlic, to super glue, to diapers for your baby. One stop shop. The associates are friendly. My only issue is the cooked food, more specifically the fried chicken and rotisserie chicken, doesnt taste great at all the rotisserie chicken was not seasoned well, and had too much fat. The fried chicken ditto with the seasoning, not great, the batter was too thick, and again too much fat on the meat.
Its large and clean, the staff are helpful, selection of goods is plentiful. Its a mini Walmart with shinier displays for vegetables. Was a little strange seeing so many 50%/20%/sale/clearance! posters in what I thought was a new store though, dont get me wrong opening day deals are a lovely sentiment but it seemed more like they were clearing out older stock under the guise of GREAT DEALS AT NEW LOCATION honestly for that vibe I can go to big lots, not a fresh new store premiering its brand in the area.
On many occasions I have found expired produce on the shelf. I have to take pictures everytime I shop there of the advertised sale price because it never comes off at the register . I got double charged for grapes , was told it happens a lot , it is hard to hear the beeping. I am sad to say, I will no longer do business with this store . I was so excited to have one open in Mentor. They do have good meat , but not enough to put up with the aggravation. I have left the store many times to end up at another store for fresh produce.
Open recently and good place to shop grocery’s...love this place. First time Have been there and I am really amazed. Price are reasonable. Very busy on Saturday. The product selection is great and well organizes. The stuff are really helpful. It’s huge store and will be great competition for others.👍👍
Compared to other Meijer locations throughout the state this one is tiny, and suffers for the lack of space. At first glance it looks like the grocery section is relatively spacious until you realize that the non-perishable items make up the entire back wall. The non-grocery sections are also small, and the selection isnt great. Considering the size of the Kmart that this location replaced I cant see a reason not to build another big-box style store outside of initial cost. To its merit, the store is clean and the self-checkout is convenient, but as a catch-all shopping location it falls flat. They are open 24-hours, so if I need something late in the evening I may stop in, but I plan to keep splitting my time between Target and Giant Eagle.
You need it?! This place probably has it and at a competitive price! This place is huge and has so much I havent been thru the whole store yet. Produce is big but can be pricey. Lots of deli and meats. Meat ladies are stellar helpful. Isles and isles of stuff. A wine place that does not satay my pallet, mostly offers Californian when I looked. They have really good gluten free pastas. A small pet place, fish and fish stuff. I havent scoped the clothes or housewares, pop says Im not allowed to go there alone, lol! They had the Best prices on turkeys this year!! Overall, move over Walmart your bigger sister who HAS cashiers ready has moved in!!
I have to say that I love Meijer and was so happy when they came to this area. However, I wish the nice employees would have lasted longer. When the store first opened every employee would say hello and ask if you needed help; now its like shopping at Walmart and that sucks. Great store, great deals, and great selection but employees need to go back to grand opening service.
Shopping online grocery delivery, not recommendedMy shopper Terrance M. purchased items for himself totaling $27. I called customer service and they cannot refund my money. They apologized and says it happens all the time. With money being tight I cannot afford mistakes. I will be taking my business elsewhere

2022-03-14There are a couple things that need to be corrected. One is some cashiers don’t punch in a correct product code for produce. I’ve been over charged by as much as $3.10. I get this correct at customer service. I’ve also sent an email to customer service to make them aware. Next error I will go directly to the store manager because “apparently “ the store manager wasn’t aware of this.Second is a couple cashiers are extremely rude. One was at the self checkout and when an error happened she walked over, pushed into me (yes, she did make contact with me causing me to step back) fixed the issue and left. She did not speak one word. Would have made a world of difference had she just said hello. The fruits and vegetables in this store are very very fresh. I don’t live near but when I’m in the area I stop in for produce. Same with meat and fish. Very fresh and of good quality. Prices are, for the most part, normal for a grocery store.

2022-02-04Very nice grocery and beyond. My daughter takes me here, its very big but clean and reasonably priced! I like that you CAN speak to a butcher and get pieces in the show case and the fresh fish!!! Everyone is very friendly and helpful!! Its very convenient, the hours extend too late ( after 10:00 p.m.! ) Which is nice, when you have trouble getting around!!! At times when Im not able to get around I used Doordash and get necessities!

2022-02-12Store is always neat, clean, and organized. Most of the time, they have what we need in stock. Prices are a bit higher than say a Walmart but, I have a much better experience here so I would say its worth it.

2022-05-16Meijers changed their alcohol purchase policy in the last week and are requiring your drivers license to be scanned. I dont have a problem showing my ID to verify my birth date but my ID does not need to be scanned. There werent any signs stating the policy changed. The cashier got an attitude when I told her Ill buy my alcohol elsewhere.

2022-03-26Everytime I go over to the cosmetic section they turn the lights off on me and some creepy security guard is peeking and peering down the isle at me. Its weird. Chill out security dude, its the deodorant isle not Vietnam...so intense.

2022-05-24This place is nuts not only can you buy pretty much anything grocery-wise but pretty much anything any otherwise as well. Its kind of like a type of Sams Club almost ...but you dont get a membership or the supposed discount.....

2022-06-05Very clean store . Some helpful employees helped me when I was searching for items that weren’t in the correct location. Needs more fronting done as a lot of items where pushed back. Also could use more stocking as every item I wanted was the last one.

2022-04-02Everything you need is here. Very well organized and clean store. Huge! Usually very little wait for a check out. Big store makes it hard for me to do a quick trip with little kids, but it is doable.

2022-06-23Always clean and has very good employees. While its not there fault for product shortages I can almost always find what I need there. Before the shortages began I always found what I needed there.

2022-05-04This store has lots of different choices in their grocery section and all kinds of brands and Meijer brand items. Good place to find a unique gift too or shop for pet supplies.
