Meijer in other cities:
CURBSIDE SERVICE CHEATS CUSTOMERS ...All my savings was on items not in stock... deselected from my cart my bill after coupons would have been $149 with ALL THE ITEMS as it was I was Charged $118 missing 8 EXPENSIVE COUPONED ITEMS that my friend said WAS there.... and 3 12 packs of pop even though I allowed for substitutions no substitutions were made... I live on a fixed income. A fixed retirement income in these inflation everywhere times and Meijer does this to me... I remember the seventies when older folk were eating dog and cat food when that was all they could afford ....looks like Meijer is cheat the old from food they took time to select for longevity WHILE THEY cheat the young by using a credit card double dipping... I have given Meijer chance after chance and all they do is cheat me one way or another
Two self checkouts are offline, up from one which has been Dead for months. Self checkouts will also double scan items youve left on the barcode platform to weigh, necessitating employee intervention. Bread products are inexplicably squashed at times, milk is frequently very close to its sell by date, and produce like garlic and onions have the shortest shelf life of any Ive bought.
How are yall going to leave a voice message to call you back but not leave the extension also? Its impossible to reach anyone in the office and frankly, seems like yall deter applicants from the hiring process. Yall say yall need workers but the ones with the best work ethic are ignored.
Love meijer because they have a great group of ppl that work the late night. The older gentleman that works at the self checkout knows his job well and treats customers just like they are the reason he has a job. Even the night stockers will go out of their way to answer questions and be helpful. The prices may be a little higher on some items but the produce, meat etc are always supurb and the store is always beautifully maintained. I dont mind the sacrifices of price and distance to shop with a grocer that stands for the good old fashioned style of doing business.
I have shopped this store multiple times for my folks, who resist change and have been shopping here for years. Personally I wouldnt waste time shopping here.Imagine shopping a grocery list where your lucky to find 50‰ of the items and brands in Stock. When you look for anyone in grocery for assistance you cant find a Meijer employee...... But you can find an outside merchandiser like coke/little debie/frito lay who cant help you with Meijer stock issues because they arent Meijer employees. Yet the outside merchandisers have their items well stocked, Meijer stocked items have alot of empty pockets on shelves. Despite the pandemic, despite the supply and demand issues in the country today, Meijer is the worst of to shop compared to the competition.30 checkout lanes, maybe 2 will be open. Long lines at self checkout.Merchandise side, with items priced high, and its like a ghost town in that part of the store because nobody is shopping in that section of the store.Shipt is a different story and a different review.Meijer Colonel Glenn, youre fired!
I just got my second COVID-19 vaccine booster(so my fourth shot) and it went well. I get all my prescriptions at Meijer. For every 5 prescriptions you fill you earn five dollars through mPerks. Everyone is super nice. I highly recommend shipping at the Beavercreek Meijer on Colonel Glenn.
A good store well stocked, helpful and friendly staff, with plenty of options for groceries. Since finding out other larger chains dont accept contactless payments (apple pay or Google pay) Im now a staunch supporter of these over the others as they want the data from the sales and not pay commission for convenience. Good prices too.
Usually the staff is great. Wanted an outdoor chair but grabbed the wrong one. The manager went to check price, found what I wanted but never returned with chair. Called and told checkout girl the chair was back there. She was not busy at the time. I watched her purchase a Diet Coke and go to the office to take a break. Luckily the checkout girl and cart guy were nice enough to get it for me so thank goodness for them! Also bought some HiC fruit punch juice boxes that were bad. Dont suggest buying those!
Meijer added new checkout lanes. Great.Trash on their eastern lot is horrible. Store requests email. Talked with corporate and the guy says he will talk to his team for this store. Warm weather is around the corner and it’s the easiest time to get it out of these shrubs. As large as this company is, should be held accountable. Been over a year with plenty of opportunity to take care of this.•& to add city would be looking into this soon
Never go to the Meijer in Fairborn because theyre rude and disrespectful and its not but drama there I would never apply for a job there if I was you because Sandy wont tell the truth because she aint got the guts to call somebody and tell him that theyre not rehireable and most of their employees are disrespectful and rude and the employees refuse to help you to find stuff so I was giving you guys the heads up never apply for a job like I said cuz they will lie to you and they something against handicapped people but like I tell everyone else its freedom of speech and I tell you one thing that theyre interested in you then they say theyre not
This Meijer has been my familys go to shopping spot ever since I was young. Its very clean and organized and has friendly employees. Unfortunately I can not in good conscience recommend this place to anyone due to the issue of the Fish Department. The quality and care for these fish are so horrid its disturbing. The betas are in small containers that are barely clean, and the fish tanks are very dirty and not maintenanced at all from the appearance. As someone who cares about fish and do my fair share of tank ecolife maintenance this sickens me to a high degree. I will be monitoring this to see if my concerns are heard. If not I will go further. I hope someone at this location can get ahold of me. Thank you.
My experience at Meijer used to be great. I stopped shopping at Walmart and started shopping at Meijer because of the superior customer service. That is no longer the case. They put in more self check outs and seemed to have reduced the amount of cashiers. I am not Good with this. I should not have to work for the store. If Im forced to use self check out I should get a discount. Ive been in line more than 10 minutes as I write this and am still not to the cashier yet.
Clean, well organized, well stocked and lit up, prices are a little higher than other places HOWEVER, quality is better soooooo…. #WorthIt! Employees are the kindest of any place I’ve been but I’ve not encountered any rude or mean ppl since moving to Dayton from southern ohio area where rudeness is the main attitude of customer service. I love Dayton and that’s a nice surprise!!
Pharmacist update: after trying for almost 2 hours between the drive thru and inside to get my medication (that was ready) their worker “Heather L.” literally pointed at me and whispered about me to her coworker then ran off. It’s the holidays, it’s busy, get it. But this pharmacy is a CONSISTENT issue and this was a worker issue. Pointing at a customer, whispering about them then running away is EXTREMELY rude. Don’t worry girl, still got a glimpse at that name tag though. This store used to be great but the last few years it has sucked. The pharmacy is AWFUL. They let cars sit for 20+ mins in the drive thru if meds aren’t ready, even when there is a line of 3+ cars behind them. They take days to fill time sensitive medication, with zero communication regarding the time delay. If you go inside to ask about your prescription, they walk away from the counter for 15 minutes only to come back and say it’s not ready, no clue when. Many basic food items are fully out of stock very often (I get it, COVID is still an industry issue). They shouldn’t be allowed to have fish tanks anymore (recently they have been empty) because they are so incredibly poorly cared for and maintained. They also never have enough registers open and took away the large self checkouts. Now it’s only the small ones that are only suitable for 3 bags worth of items then you run out of room to place your stuff.
Might as well be a unmanned store, totally self service. Cold atmosphere. Indifferent female stocking cosmetics, she looked at me as if I was disturbing her while asking if they sold Willow Tree Ornaments.Drove to Beavercreek Meijer for a much more enjoyable experience.I will say the Gas Station Employees are very friendly at Huber Meijer.
My wife and I do pretty much all of our grocery shopping here. Good selection of products and good prices. Meijer has some of the best specials and sales on meats. The staff in the pharmacy are great and very helpful. Weve switched to getting every prescription there. The new drive-through for the pharmacy is very convenient. The newly remodeled store is very nice. The clerks and staff are always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them.
Been going here for as long as I can remember. Its weird to say you got a lot of memories in a store but I lived near here all of my life. From getting Halloween costumes and collecting hot wheels with my dad when I was little, to being the place I go to on a weekly basis to get groceries every week as an adult. This store has always been very well kept and theyve refreshed it so often it has never felt dated. The prices are great, the food is always fresh and they have a great selection of home goods as well. The thing Ive been enjoying a lot lately is the curbside pickup, it saves me a lot of time in my busy schedule when I dont have time to walk around to shop. Just more reason to choose this store over Kroger which is closer to my house.I highly recommend.
Never has cashiers to check you out unless kayla is there. Why did you take out the lanes for big orders? I checked out a 200$ order myself, I ask if anyone could check me out they said we dont have the staff?? Why would you treat a customer like that with a cart full???
Nice store. Better produce than Walmart. Overall the store is maintained better. Meijer is clean and tidy. I was at Meijer and Walmart yesterday. Walmart was trashed by customers pilfering through Christmas clearance. It was a sad experience. Hands down Meijer is the winner!
Store was clean and quite well stocked. Signage and spots on floor for masks and social distancing. Did not appear that they were limiting shoppers but store was not crowded. We went for vaccines from the pharmacist and had to wait just a bit, but we were quite pleased with the friendly service we received.
Listen. I thought Walmart was everything to me. But Ohio has taken the cake. You are talking about latest and greatest food variety in addition to clothing items for women and wine and liquor plus the best desserts. Man if I had a plane it take it to Ohio just to go to Meijers weekly!!
Id say 3&1/2 stars. I used to go here for food and other items. The amount of variety they have was pretty decent. A midwest Fred Meyer if you will. But after getting used to Fred Meyer, the Meijer selection paled in comparison. Still can go in for gas, a Nintendo, and get your groceries (which is a way better selection than Walmart and Targets so called grocery sections. (Though truthfully I refuse to shop at Walmart out of principle so I didnt explore the Dayton Walmart.)
We love Meijer. Its always clean. They have what the need. And the parking lot isnt a demolition derby like the local Walmart. Employees are always so friendly too. Especially the older gentleman that works in the pet section. He gave me tips for bringing home my new kitten last year.
If I could give a zero I would. When we got inside the store they were out of baskets and we found on in the store that was not being used and an employee with long hair with one side color and the other side black made a rude comment to us so I went off back at her and she said another woman in the store bumped into her so she took it out on us. She needs an attitude check really good and should be fired. I guess she is just young and stupid. So we put our stuff down and ended up leaving. So everyone this is the young generation that will grow older and lead the next generation. So everyone will be screwed
They seem to be out of a lot of products (especially the ones that I was looking for and they were not sale items). Their fresh meat cases left much to be desired--the beef and pork sections were very low and had lots of holes. I only shopped at this location because I was in the area.
What I love about Meijer more than their groceries is their home section. Its honestly the best out of the other big corporations in the area. Everything you could need, including seasonal items like snow sleds and camping equipment, can be found in their home section.
This Meijers is exceedingly convenient in its location and the store is always clean. As always, they have their save great prices...though this particular location Does seem to be on average a bit more expensive than other Meijer locations. Over all, the only REAL criticism I have for this location is their employees tendencies to block entire isles with their freight when stocking or working rather moving it over to one side to still allow for customer traffic.
Probably my favorite Meijer in the area as far as cleanliness, and organization. I just wish all Meijers (including this one) had more cashiers open in the early evening hours. Seems like the worst part of shopping anymore is getting through the checkout lane! But overall I like this place! 😉
Always a good experience here at Meijer! The store is huge & thats exactly the point! Everything you need ALL under one roof. If you cant find something, a store associate is ready & willing to help. Drop by today & say hello for me! Enjoy your shopping trip at Meijer!
Disappointing is the best word for it. Haven’t been to this location in a while. Coming in from the general merchandise side the store is dated and dreary. The bathrooms are embarrassing. Dark, dirty and very small. When my wife went to use the ladies room she was surprised to have the lady already in the stall next to her ask if she had any toilet paper. My wife realized there was none before sitting down and went to the last available stall and passed some to the unfortunate soul that would have had to sit there with a wet bottom had my wife not come in. We did find some surprising deals on movies, automotive stuff and board games. I’m not normally one to care what a store looks like as long as I can find what I need, but I’ve spent a lot of time the last few months as a contractor working for another major retailer and the atmosphere set at this store in particular is sub par. The Huber Heights location is a much more enjoyable store.
Its the best place with good price! My grocery comes from here!!I love the faishon n health n beauty dept too!!Garden is the place where my husband love to visit..we have chosen the Pharmacy too..Its good with good crew members and we dont have any problems in there too!!Over all I just love the place..You can say EVERYTHING UNDER ONE ROOF!!😍😗😗
Horrible, interaction with staff at this store. Your lucky if you can find someone for help with any department. I stood at the service counter looking for someone. No one came and not even a can I help you voice from whatever is in the back room. I used scan and go, except it was scan and wait. The rude kid was with another employee at his register and he didnt pay any attention to anyone. Im waiting at the scanner, the light was blinking red and I am waiting for him to log in. I have had this to happen several times since summer, they dont log in so you can proceed. The clerks must log in and then your standing their until they verify three items and they handle the items, you dont where their hands have been.. However, this guy didnt look up, started walking away and I had to holler at him. He hollered back, wait. Course, it went down hill from there, I let him log in and verify the three items when he finally came to the register and then I walked away and left the items. I bought grocerys at a competitor. Called to talk to management and was on music hold for ever, no one picked up and I hung up. I am finished with this store. I can spend money some place else and without the rude clerks and hassles.
I like the store as in product, selection and price..but the customer service is poor when you checkout. They open the self serve lanes with only one register and sometimes when that register is a 12 only items the cashier will yell at you that you cant be there despite telling them that your disabled.
Ive ordered through Doordash for Meijers and this place is horribly ratchet. They never have the requested items, their fruit tastes like water and today I received a candy bar that was broken up while STILL somehow in the bag, molded and looked like something you would find under the parking lot tire. Disgusting.
This store is my home base Meijer. It is always excellent. Today I needed toys for my grandson, baby bathtub for my new granddaughter, pet supplies, and groceries. I found everything here that I needed. A nice bonus was the baby bath... They had the large, colorful, inexpensive ones, but for just a little more money I chose the pretty little white one with a couple of nicer features. I like that I had that choice. This store is my happy oasis!
Not my favorite grocery store. The staff isnt that polite, doesnt even greet yet alone acknowledge their customers and the customers walk around staring at you like youre from another planet or something! I put Meijer in the same category as Walmart, I only go in there unless I have no other choice but to!
My husband and I moved to Fairborn about a year ago, and out of all of the nearby grocery stores we have went to, this one is definitely the best! We have never gotten any bad produce from this store, and it actually has pretty frequent sales on items we like! The organization of the store is also very logical, and I usually have no trouble finding anything here. I also really like the staff here as most of the people I have talked to in this store have been very friendly and helpful! My husband and I shop here all the time now, and we avoid the other grocery stores at all costs just because this Meijer offers a much better experience!
They dont enforce the mask rule. Saw three customers walk though the cart entrance right past an employee sanitizing the carts and nothing was said to them. Many more customers not wearing masks at all seen throughout the store. The aquariums at this location are gross. I would not buy any pet fish there. We have complained to management many times and the aquariums are still disgusting and full of diseased, dead or dying fish.
I was kinda disappointed with this Meyers 😕. Not only did they mismark one of the items I bought, when I brought it to their attention they continued to argue with me and they would not give me the price they had it marked at. I think I like the Meyers on Executive Blvd a lot better. This one seems a little junkie to me too. I could be wrong and you might like it but I think I will stick with the one on Executive Blvd or just go to Target. Lol! Happy Shopping!!
Meijers is cool. Ive heard some weird rumors about the owners being into some strange stuff though but I dont know if any of that is true. Lets just say I dont exactly think they are a Christian company. Anyway, I dont shop here a ton but I stop in from time to time to check for Star Wars and clearance stuff. Mperks are probably useful if you shop here a lot but not so much if you dont.
They closed off both speedy checkout areas (a total of 12 machines), and only had 5 lanes open afterward (three of which were self checkout). This gave me about a 10-15 minute wait for, which is completely unreasonable since I was only buying five items. This was at 7:30 pm on a Wednesday. After checking out, it also took six attempts and two credit cards before it finally successfully read the card (this is the only store I have ever had this problem at).I was tempted to leave my items and walk out, and I regretted not doing so.
Updated for 2021. We still use this store for day to day groceries, but it reeks of corporate whimsy. They have 20 checkouts that are never manned even at peak hours. They have an order ahead system that doesnt accurately take into account stock and is at the whim of the ONE person filling orders. If they call off youre SOL. Their m-perks program offers no substantial savings compared to non-program stores and their loss leader offerings are just terrible. Their employees have always been as helpful as they can be when you can find one.Ill keep buying there as long as its convenient. I have no love for this place.
The workers are kind and helpful without being intrusive, and the selection and quality are very good. The prices are better than most other grocers as well, especially on sale items. Their gluten free section is not as large or centralized as it had been, but they still have many options interspersed with the standard items.
Would give this location zero stars if I could terrible Meijer I would never go there again they have bad management at this location I tried to return something I bought for my daughter for her birthday it was missing a, item I spoke to a lady earlier this morning she Said I could then when I got off from work I came in contact with this nasty manager never will I ever buy anything from that store again
This is an acceptable Meijer location. They have all the standard items. There is alot of parking and the store is clean. There are plenty of self check out lanes. There are usually only a few regular lanes open. They have great prices on mens work clothes and work boots. The Wolverine brand is a good choice. As far as food items go they have a large selection. Overall a good Meijer store location.
Nice store that provides a wide selection of products. The Meijer brand offers some good quality items, that are on the same level with name brands. This store has a large selection of pet products, if you are looking for a good quality, inexpensive pet bed, this store has a good selection of types and sizes. The grocery store offers a much wider selection than nearby competitors, they have a nice beer and wine section that has a lot of good choices. There are also wacky and exotic fruits and vegetables that I had never seen and will probably never understand. Fresh donuts in the bakery too!
Im in town visiting family and Meijer is always one of the places I like to go. I shop there instead of Wal-Mart because its cleaner, and the employees are nicer. I was a little disappointed this time to see that their prices have gone up some, more than what I call budget friendly, but here I go still visiting there instead of Wal-Mart. Sometimes the sacrifice is worth it, especially since Im only up here once or twice a year. Overall, so very impressed with the cleanliness and pleasant atmosphere.
This Meijer was remodeled not long ago and it shows. Very clean, very modern with a layout thats easy to navigate. I think this is an excellent store and usually has anything and everything youre looking for at reasonable prices. Even though its right next to a large college (those lucky students to have all that next door!), I find I never have to wait very long in line.
The store is generally clean and well stocked, with the items being easy to locate. The store employees are pleasant. The reason I have 3 instead of 5 stars is because the prices tend to always be $2- $5 more than Wal-Mart or Kroger, for all non store brand products. The biggest price hike is in the electronic department. And they do not price match.
Wow, this is a terrific shopping experience. The employees are friendly and eager to help. Seniors will especially appreciate seating available to catch your breath or wait for your shopping partner. Yes, Walmart should take some positive improvement ideas from these folks; especially employee attitude!
Shipt’s home delivery is my favorite part of shopping at Meijer. They are fast, convenient, dependable and consistent. They always pick the best produce and meat for our orders. The Shipt shoppers have all been extremely nice, professional and helpful. I also really appreciate Meijer’s online experience. The platform is well laid out, easy to navigate and the option to clip mperks coupons makes everything really convenient. Sometimes I can’t find everything I need online though, but the Shipt shopper always asks if we’d like to add anything and we can request those items then. The in-store experience is nice. This store is always clean, self-checkout is fast and the workers at this Meijer are cheerful, friendly and helpful. It’s probably our favorite store in the area to shop for most of what we need.
Just your topical meijer. at first glance you think wow this store has everthing only to realize they have a small selection of a lot of things. over all the store clean and well run and the employees are friendly. They have a large selection of food items so as a grocery store this is one of the better ones . Their produce is always fresh and their beats are of high quality
I go here weekly or more often. They have the foods and sundries Im seeking. A great team is everywhere in the store so help is easy to find. Shelves are stocked and freshness is on offer. Their Mperks save me some money. I find organic foods in every section where I shop (veggies, meats, dairy). They have a good selection of vitamins and hygiene supplies. I especially like their Burts Bees display. There are swift checkout lanes for self-service and cashiers too. No waiting today at 1:45pm
This mens restroom in Meijer was the most disgusting thing my husband said hes ever seen it looks like nobodys been in there to clean of ours ours nasty nasty filthy! If we could write less than one star we would do it! Most unsanitary thing Ive ever seen in my life is what my husband said
Im not really big on grocery supermarket chains but the 24-hour availability and sheer size (and items in stock) of this store make it nice. Never had any issues shopping here but I typically go late when I need something. The only thing that would be nice is if they would keep both sides of checkout running. Most of the time only the grocery side is running late night which makes for a lot more walking than what having both sides going would require (depending on where you parked).
Stopped in earlier this evening to pick up some things for Thanksgiving and couldnt find a couple of items. Two store employees went above and beyond to help us find them--one of them even tracked us down at the cash register with a handful of things I was looking for. I wish I knew their names, but if their manager reads this, they were stocking shelves in the canned fruits and vegetables aisle around eight oclock in the evening on 11/20. Great service! Many thanks to them.
The grocery is nice, good produce. The rest of the store is a ghost town. The staff is scarce and inexperienced. If you dont want to check yourself out and bag your own groceries (which I think you should get an employee discount for), it will take you longer to check out at the two of thirty checkout lanes that are open.Meijer is nice in theory but, stupid in practice.
Quite nice I was making money from my small business and needed a way to safely store my money and keep it on hand. I looked at a lot of other places but the lock boxed were all above my price range. So I came and. Did some shopping and found a cheep and good quality lockbox.I agree,This place gives Walmart a run for their money

2022-06-05This store was clean and as well stocked as can be expected. They even had Premium saltines crackers! None of the stores in Frederick, Maryland have had them for the past 6 months! They were the cheapest in prices for several items I had on my list. They are the highest in price on a lot of others though. I didnt understand when our how to put my customer number in the self checkout screen so I lost any and all points and discounts. I could have called the checkout employee over but there was a huge line of folks waiting to checkout. Two of their self check stations were out of service. They really need to pay more employee checkout people. That line had at least 6 people waiting. They had Tootsie Fruit Chews in stock. All in all, this is a nice store with nice & pleasant shoppers.

2021-10-09Store is always clean and has a solid selection of things a good amount of people want/need. The parking lot can get pretty hectic but there is ample parking. There are usually a decent amount of cashiers working but I typically use self-checkout.

2022-03-15Huge location as youd expect, with plenty of parking and the associates are friendly and helpful. Having an establishment like this, that is open 24 hours is extremely valuable to most. The interior was clean, bright and well stocked. The aisles are wide and vast with products that should meet all of your needs.

2022-05-26This is a huge store even in the standard of Texas. Of course you can find what you need here... Shopping is always safe and fun in Dayton.

2022-04-30Best place to shop for groceries in the area. It has a surprisingly good produce section. The bakery is satisfactory. The overall selection and relatively low prices are its strongest factors. Most importantly, they consistently carry more of the food items I want than any of the other local stores.

2022-05-21They never have registers (more than 2 open).. and today was extra special. Waited in line forever.. just to be told cash only!I wish had some kind of way of making signs or using a Public Announcement system or you know using their mouth to tell people things they really should develop something for thatI’m done with this store!

2022-05-18This is a nice store, well stocked, great deals, clean, and friendly employees. But, one cashier. Of all the lanes there, only one open. Self checkout was packed. We used self checkout and it was fine. I think at Meijers and Walmart its best to not expect a cashier/checkout. Excellent produce, deli and bakery!

2022-04-27It was a pretty normal Meijer. They had what we needed to pack up a dorm room. It seemed relatively clean and easy to shop in, areas were labeled. No complaints.

2022-05-20This big box retailer is my favorite for all your grocery needs. Great ads lead to better prices and more savings. Meijer is my favorite and never have trouble finding what I need.
