These apartments were great with working with me. I had so many issues while preparing to move in and Carmella my rep was absolutely awesome. She gave me solutions to my problem and got me moved in a lot quicker than I expected. I want to thank all the Meadow Ridge staff for being patient with me and helping me move in my new home.
I dont recommend moving here, the office people are very rude there and there were roaches and bed bugs. When we have problems it be weeks or months until they finally fix it. When we first moved in there was a man old malfunctioning heater we was taking cold baths, we did not get one until five months later.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX!!!!I have had the worst experience with this apartment complex. The complex always wants to enter your apartment for some reason, either to change a filter( which i can clearly do myself), do a random inspections(it seems like they inspect every 1-2 months) or something else. The office will not work with you on scheduling a time for these visits they just enter without your consent if your home or not. This year we had pipes burst in our apartment in January and we were without water for almost 2 weeks and the apartment complex never offered to move us to another apartment or hotel so we could have water to shower, cook, clean, flush the toilet! We had to buy water to fill the toilet tank up to flush and the apartment refused to reimburse us. It has taken forever to get the pipes fixed. They would say they were coming to fix it and then they would no show. Im still waiting on repairs to be done and its almost April now!! The staff is rude and they do not listen to requests or needs. I have requested for my apartment not to be entered unless My Husband or myself are present and they enter anyways. Valuable things that could never be replaced have been stolen from my apartment, no one can be trusted. I will be leaving this complex as soon as possible. This is by far the worst place I have ever lived.
Where do I start??This place is HORRIBLE! the only reason we decided to move here was because they contacted us back quickly, HOWEVER, 1 month into my family moving in, some teen broke into our home while we were asleep and the management didnt reach out to us, they didnt follow up on my request to move to an upper level apartment, they didnt do anything. Maintenance NEVER replaced a molded dishwasher... Cabinets looked like someone took sand paper to them lol. Im able to laugh now but living there, trust me, I was crying!! Lol. This place is soooo janky!. Management sucks. Waste management SUCKS! The office manager, Susan, came off racist and will put all of your personal business out there no matter who is standing in the office (This happened while I was completing paperwork). Dont move here and if you decide too, just ask to see the actual apartment they will be putting you in..because once you see the inside, Im sure youll change your mind lol. Whew yall, the GHETTO. GHETTO MEADOW RIDGE.
This place is a joke. Management is horribly rude to some people. Weve only been here for 2 weeks and we already have problems. Apartment was FILTHY when we moved in. No one had cleaned up the mess from the previous owners. Disgusting. Cleaning service said that meadow ridge had notified them Friday night that the apartment needed a touch up. We moved in Friday afternoon, and it needed more than a touch up. They gave us a mailbox key that didnt even work, then told us they had to get one made for our mailbox. And last but certainly not least, our ceiling was dripping water uncontrollably a week after moving in. This place is a joke, dont be fooled. Stay far away from this place. Not to mention their speed bumps are way too big and it will damage your car. So along with $800 a month for this garbage apartment, I now have to repair my car because of their speed bumps. But of course they wont take responsibility for it, because they dont take responsibility for anything and all they want is money. Stay as far away from here as possible. Biggest joke of an apartment complex Ive ever came across.
GHETTORIDGE! If you have never lived in the projects before you are in for a rude awakening. So the apartments get a tax break or something for lower income families. If you make a decent wage (Im close to 40 anually) you may be over income and have to pay market rent and they will want you to pay 1100-1500 for one of these small Ill built apartments. These appartents are concerned enhanced with common things like decent carpent and counter tops. If they can slide you in with tax break you will get a normal apart. Min for instance has mismatch cabinets that look like they came from an apartment that had water damage. They are water logged and nasty. My counters are painted over and always look dirty. Had roaches crawling from under carpet while moving thin in and the Pest Control company they use just comes in and places bait in incorrect spots. My air works 2 days then out for a week til they come fix it then works 2 days again. Been here 60 days have had maintenance out 4 times to fix it. The office personal run this place and talk to ypu as if we are in the projects, as if they are doing us a favor. The GM has to lock the door when in office alone...everyone is background checked maybe shes scared because she talks to everyone crazy as hell. The pool is only open during office hours and they leave at 6 and are off weekends so unless you sit at home waiting on a ssi check Idk when youd have time to swim. 960-150p for this bs. Condos in west chester go for that. Your treated like a customer and have way better amenities. But if you have an eviction and are you to this ghetto mess come on!
* VERY IMPORTANT *These appartments are a disgrace to the wonderful community of West Chester, and I hope they are demolished someday! Terrible drug dealers live in them, threatening the safety of West Chester’s residents. Management is TERRIBLE. These apartments contain bed bugs, roach infestations, VERY many maintenance problems, and not to mention the terrible liter issues outside, threatening the environment, and the wonderful town of West Chester. These apartments could lower the value of homes in WC, which is worrisome to think about. I would DEFINITELY NOT consider living here, considering all of this and the fact that a shooting has occurred here in the past. I hope this wonderful town wakes up and learns what a DISGRACE these apartments are to us.
Terrible Apartments. Beware: MANAGEMENT SUCKS! Leasing office will sell you the apartment and make it sound wonderful but as soon as there is a problem with plumbing or anything else maintance takes forever. Old kitchen cabinets and old bathrooms. They charge is nonrefundable cleaning fee and when I moved in the apartment was disgusting. NOT WORTH THE PRICE!!! BECARFUL!!!
Wish I could give 0 stars. Getting anything fixed takes forever and no one ever answers the phone when you do call. Theres always trash and glass everywhere and for what we pay its not that great of a place to live. The pool is never open and its too small anyways and the manager is very rude and no one there is helpful. Would be nice if they hired some real help, cant wait to move
Horrible! I helped someone else to apply and it has been a horrible service. The employees in there are careless (except for Lupe, who speaks Spanish) very rude and they don’t give you the information you need so you don’t have to come back. The lady who took our application had trouble even to talk fast, it look like she wanted to be t home sleeping so bad she made us wait several times for no reason and rolling her eyes every time i made a question. A huge lost of time! If you go there is under your own, personally i will never consider this place to recommend to my employees or anybody.
This is definitely the crappiest apartments in the area. Now there have been two armed robberies of delivery drivers in this complex in the past 2 weeks. Dont move to this place. It is a very dangerous environment for you and your family.
The roaches are definitely a major discomfort. Havent had any problems until the building next to our was infested, and the people moved out. Well the new people that moved in must like it because office says they havent heard of anyone saying anything. I find that hard to believe if we are killing 3 to 4 a day, but they expect their tenants to comply by new rules and request. Lol. Ridiculous!
Look elsewhere. The apartments are laid out nicely but the materials used were crap. single pane aluminum frame windows look like they were assembled and installed by 3 year olds. Walls are so thin you can hear butterflies fart, outside. Trash everywhere, broken glass in parking lot is everyday thing. New management try to terrorize you into signing new lease or raise your rent by 100 a month. If you dont speak spanish, you cannot communicate with the other residents.
Horrible but ill keep my words till im out of Ghetto Ridge!! All im going to say is dont move here if your kids cant fight because its bullies everywhere out here and the parents are even worse
I will start by saying if you stay to yourself, dont mind fixing things yourself and you dont have active children this could be a cool little spot for you. I can definitely say staff is cool but being cool doesnt add up to anything when things are not getting done. I have stayed here less than a year and has already been able to see meadow ridge turnover rate is sky high and because of that we (tenants) are effected BIG TIME! I have went every way possible known to mankind putting in complaints and or calling maintenance for repairs. Over and over all I hear is ok we got chu Now... lets talk about the kids. Three words. Out of control. Smoking throwing things at the icecream truck when it drives through walking in groups screaming eff the police... you name it. Of course, you have your good and bad apples when it comes to children but I wouldnt recommend mixing your precious fruit in meadow ridge basket.
This place is a con. They advertise $709 for a one bedroom but neither the website nor the staff tell you that they are income based. If you make a over $31k a year the rent jumps to like $849. They dont tell you this till after you pay the outrageous $50 application fee.
I just handed my keys in today. THIS is the most disgusting place that I have ever lived in. The management is TERRIBLE!!! My car was ransacked once a month I kid you not. I started leaving my car doors unlocked and car empty so they wouldnt break my windows trying to break in. Brand new car at that. I saw a little boy kick in a random persons front window. Found a 1 year old by the dumpster, yes you read that correctly. Had to call the police because there wasnt a person in site and the baby was starting to sun burn and was burning up. WAS just AWFUL!!!. Trash overflows the dumpsters. DO NOT MOVE HERE !!!!!! ITS A GHETTO. Oh and the children or little devils are over flowing the street.. they wont move to let you pass.. and if you Honk your horn they scream and curse.. this place is so disgusting and so are MOST of the people that live there...
Put in a request around noon to have the shower fixed. Effectively taken care of before we returned to our apartment around two. Definitely feel that our request was taken seriously and without hesitation!
I can not, and will never recommend this apartment to anyone! worst management, care less about your welfare, horrible in site service. I still live here and cant wait to leave, just matter of time when my house is ready.Please do not spend your money unless you are desperate for a place to sleep.
I called and spoke with Heather, after 10 min of trying to find out if an apartment would be ready and how much, i finally got an somewhat of an answer. should of been the first sign!! but i scheduled an appointment anyways for the following day at 5. i arive and the door is locked, i clearly see two people in the office so i knock on the door, the turn and look then walk out the back door... i call and leave a message, i try calling again and as i am calling the room next to the office is full of teenage kids, one boy comes and and trys to hump my leg!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THE PLACE AT ALL!!!!
So I applied to those insane place as anyone that has applied here knows it’s just nuts only place I’ve ever been that’s so crazy .. so I called like 20 times to see if I was approved because no one here returns calls they told me yes that I need to bring $300 in to hold my apartment or it will get rented so I come in give to the older Hispanic lady the man had a client she said she give him he get ahold me very next day with paperwork never herd from them 3 dats goes by I call. They said somone call me back they don’t so 6 days later I call again just to be told they can’t find my application but they took $300 cashiers check from me. Won’t return my calls text them on Facebook they said that corporate will handle and was very rude to me I still have not herd from corporate or anyone I sent them to the better business for stealing $300 from me. Don’t I Repeat give them any money they scam u they have the worst staff ever the one guy that could have gave me my paperwork right then was in a hurry had to leave get his kids so now they lost my money and app I paid $50 for app too I got place somewhere else I love it the people here so nice no $300 lies do not trust these people they lie take ur money almost the time there on there cell phones 📱 I sat 30 mins while girl was on her cell gossiping just sad 😢 don’t go here they stole my $300 plus $50 app fee don’t go here they just lie to u and Robb u !!! Not good people. They knew about abandoned starving animals that were locked in someone’s apartment and they did NOTHING to help. I even called Emergency Matinance to see if they would be willing to let us in to save the cats. They wouldn’t help.
I wish I could give this place 0 stars the people In the rental office always have nasty attitudes like you did something to them and maintenance takes forever just to even look at your place . For any one thinking of moving here don’t Take your money else where I have mold in my place and they don’t care 1100 for this tiny place is over charged when You can rent a 3 bedroom house for 900
Terrible place to live in. Horrible management apartments smells like smoke cockroaches all over the place. You will have train going at 1,2,3,4,5 AM IN THE MORNING. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE SPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE KIDS. ONCE AGAIN TERRIBLE NEW MANAGEMENT..

This place is horrible!!!! The older woman who has taken over management is a devil!!!! She is the rudest nastiest person Ive ever met in my life. Why would this company ever want a person like that representing meadow ridge??? Everyone here literally cant stand this woman she us awful!! She over talks you shes rude and disrespectful and could care less about any issues maintenance wise you have going on.

Very Unprofessional staffing, they lied to me for weeks about having units available and didn’t. They never answer the office phone and be sitting right in the office watching it ring. Don’t rent from them I promise you it’s not worth it I’m glad I found a different option

If I could give it ZERO, I would. I do not live here, I do not ever plan to live here, (ESPECIALLY because of all of the horrible reviews) however I tried to contact this community for a client, by phone probably about 20 times, and only got a response once. Left multiple messages, and never received a response. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Never answer the phone, never in the office.
I couldnt live here for a year not even half. there was killings and HORRIBLE people around. violence everywere and a lady threw stuff at my 10 year old daughter just because she was knocking at the ladys door downstairs to play with her friend :( NEVER GO HERE!!!!!!! if i could rate 0 I WOULD. if u rate more then 1 star u r stupid

Cockroaches are real horrible management will actually argue with you slow maintenance they try hard to make every repair your fault the rent is raised significantly for section 8 very large pot holes management will tell you not to park there hardly any snow removal trash is slowly removed they lease to anyone the worse part are the illegal speed bumps/hump hybrid whether your car is newer or older you will have issues with it after weeks of driving over these things you can come to a complete stop you will bang the bottom of your car oh and they have nice to a lot and the management will tell you not their responsibility and where you can purchase traps the only thing they do is get your money and try to keep your money this is not the place if this doesnt get you the people they rent to will
Ive tried to call here multiple times to get leasing information but no one answers. Judging by these reviews, I should keep looking anyway. Oh well, lost my business.

2022-06-25Please make sure you have identity protection in place. I havent lived here in 5+ years and recently someone used my info to sign up for Passbook account which needs your SSN. I religiously shred everything even junk mail. So I can only deduce that staff there did so bc they use my address for when I was there. These apartments take advantage of the fact that there is a need for affordable places to live that accept Section 8 or any other programs. I started the because they also accepted pitbulls. My experiences were varied in terms of staff helpfulness. They didnt keep consistent hours, or answer the phone when calling multiple times. They did quickly address a water issue from when a different unit water issues flowed into my unit. Kids were often in the streets refusing to move for through traffic. Dumpsters stayed overflowing. This place could be so much better but living here makes you slowly die inside. Keep track of all your payments (take a picture of your money order, keep emails), and record all conversations (Ohio is one party consent state).

2021-01-26The worst management and office staff I have ever came across. I definitely dont live there nor would I ever continue doing business with them after 1 minute of speaking with them. They were rude within a few seconds of speaking. It is sad that even The Assistant Property Manager was very unprofessional. Meadow Ridge you need to do some secret shops on your employees and see why your community has low reviews. Try being friendly and helpful. It goes along way with your residents. They are not just a pay check. They are real people and you are in charge of their HOMES.

2021-03-19If I could I would give 0 stars THEY ARE AWFUL and will try to ruin your good name I moved out September 2020 I got a notice January 2021 I owed them 10,000 in collections for some old ware and tear and because I didn’t clean the carpet! What a scam! When I had moved in the little hut place was old and had issues and when I would put maintenance request in for them to come and they never fixed it take your voucher/money else where they are SLUM LORDS Rude people in office act like there so busy and couldn’t never answer the phone Don’t move here I wish I hadn’t you come out better renting a house for 900-1300

2021-10-22There is a reason everyone calls it GHETTO RIDGE. I have 3 friends that have lived there and it is AWFUL. Bedbugs travel between all the apartments, roaches can run rampant, cars always get broken into, drug deals constantly happen in the parking lots, and the management acts like youre a burden to them. Better places to live can be found for less.

2015-05-09We were very unhappy under the previous management. They were very rude even on the day we signed our lease. The carpets had not been replaced and had red stains and burns in them. They were also fraying. Our cars were damaged on more than one occasion while parked in front of our apartment. The dumpsters were frequently overflowing for days on end and bed bugs were rampant. When the new management took over, it became even worse. It took maintenance 4 days to bring us new halogen lights for the kitchen, and then when they did come, he told me that he didnt have time to install them so we should figure it out ourselves. When our furnace stopped working, they went to an empty apartment within the complex and took an old motor from there to replace ours. We found beer bottles, magazines, candy wrappers, etc... shoved in with our furnace. They demanded that we pay online so they didnt have to deal with payments in the office, but there was a $20 fee for each transaction!!! Over-priced for such squalor, and definitely not worth of being in West Chester.

2020-09-19This is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived at. I still have yet to make a payment on my rent due to my apartment conditions being unlivable. I need legal help to get out of this place because it has had roaches 3 different times. None of my windows lock. I can’t use my whole stove only one burner works. Etc. I need help out of this please

2018-07-03This is the worst apartment complex I’ve ever stayed in especially for the amount they charge on rent it’s not worth it. The apartment looks old an has a really bad mold smell no matter how many times you clean the carpet. Every thing in there is old. An they charge you a $50 late fee if rent is not paid on the 1ST an 5 dollars everyday after that. Most places give you till the 5th. It’s ridiculous not to mention how it’s always trash every where an broken glass all the the parking lot. They charge a maintenance fee when ever something goes wrong in the apartment that’s not the tenants fault. I can go on an on this place is terrible. It doesn’t even deserve one star.

2018-08-31I currently live here as well.RUN!!! With this new management, they are the worst I have ever dealt with. They are extremely rude and unprofessional. Bad communication within management.they have taken away a lot of great features and have constantly went up on rent. Im leaving when my lease is up as well as the other gentlemen and as many others have as well..Update 8-31-2018I have friends that stayed and this place has actually gotten worse. If you are considering coming here, do. It at your own risk. But you have been warned

2016-02-10Will cancel your application and keep your money for whatever made up reason they can come up with even though the paper you sign says your deposit to hold an apartment is only non-refundable if YOU cancel not them. If they cancel because they dont like something on your application, they tell you the only way you can get your money back is jump through hoops to get application approved, or you are out of luck.Do not trust to leave a deposit with. You will never see that money again. It says on the paperwork if they find anything fraudulent, they cannot rent to you and you cannot re-apply for a certain amount of days. They will make something up, keep your money but still try to get you to re-apply right away.Gave me a paper in the contract that I signed to prove they can keep your money for no reason, and it didnt prove that at all, in fact proved I was right and they were acting fraudulently. Go anywhere but there. Plenty of the other places cost the exact same for way nicer apartments. In the end I guess it should be glad it didnt work out, saved me from living in a horrible, cheap place with terrible shady management. Not to mention they had another shooting there right after I was suppose to move in, and one before I filled out paperwork.
