Way too many speed bumps. My stock height car scrapes on some of them. HOA is pretty lax which is nice to not be pestered all the time. Rules are fairly reasonable except they have some kind of grudge with people owning basketball hoops, even if they put them away when not in use. And they do have illegal restrictions on satellite dishes that they have refused to change to comply with federal law. Violations/fines are usually waived if you can show youre trying to remedy their concern. Grounds maintenance is excellent. Building maintenance is decent. All the roofs were replaced a few years ago without an assessment. The guy they use does try to resolve issues in a reasonable time. Property manager is friendly and usually helpful but the management company does not do an adequate job covering when she is out of the office (they didnt even know what pest control company is under contract - shouldnt that be in a binder or computer file available to whomever is covering?). Theyve failed their duty to notify before sending a contractor that wants to access the inside of the unit multiple times, so I turned the contractor away each time.Overall a decent place to live. Theres a walking path surrounding 3/4 of the property. Its on a creek so theres established trees and other natural features. Proximity to highway, stores, airport, etc is nice. Pool and gym are nice and rarely busy. HOA fees are high but include trash, water, sewer, gym/pool, and building/grounds maintenance. They tend to go up 2-3% every year. Plenty of guest parking and each unit should have two spots (not assigned). Natural gas heat and should have piping for gas appliances and outdoor grill. Theres a little noise from Broad St and airplanes but nothing terrible. Two car garages are oversized (wide) and can easily have two cars, some storage, and a fridge/freezer and motorcycle all at the same time.

Nice clean condos but the condo association needs to get all the rulesEnforced by all the employees not just some.

Bought a townhome at a really nice price. Both of my neighbors are kind of weird but I feel nice and safe. The community is very clean and dog friendly and the gym is pretty huge. Theyve got a machine for every muscle in your body as well as plenty of free weights.

I bought a condo here in July of 2017, been here for seven months as of this review. I am very happy about having moved in, the neighborhood is clean and quiet and the neighbors are nice. Between the mortgage payments and condo fees, they are similar to, if not quite a bit less than, rent for smaller apartments in similar neighborhoods. Ive only had to contact the condo association once, in regards to a lack of running water early on a Saturday morning. Even then, I got a timely response letting me know a water main broke and would be fixed soon.

The wife and I own a condo that she bought here when she was going to school. I suppose it serves its purpose but really McNeil farms isnt a good place to live IMO. Its huge, so the gym and pool can get pretty crowded. Parking can be tough especially for anyone who drives something bigger than a mid sized sedan. Having visitors over can be hard because of the parking too.Its also right under the airport flight path. So its loud and the planes constantly mess with WiFi and other wireless signals. The condo fee is steep (as in, its more than the mortgage on our unit) and the association doesnt do very much with it and are very slow on maintenance issues.

I rented a condo here from a private owner directly for 3 years. The condo fees on a 2 bedroom seemed a bit high at $230 per month but it did include several services such as water, sewage, trash, fitness center, pool, the entire complex being repaved and new roofs on all the buildings. The fitness center and pool are excellent, much better than a few other apartments I have rented in the past. The reason I give 4 stars instead of five is the lack of professionalism from the front office. It took 6 months to repair a loose piece of siding. Then it took 2.5 years of repeated requests to finally have the massively overgrown trees trimmed. Some trees were so bad that they were overgrown into parking spaces, meaning it had been several years since the last trim. When I asked Jodi (the so called manager) she basically shrugged he shoulders like she had no control over the situation at all. She is not accountable for anything. Like I said other than the front office being less than fully competent this was a decent place to live.

This is generally a very quiet neighborhood and a reasonably priced community with a dedicated landscape team, pool, and on-site gym. Its a great place for a starter home. The HOA liaison is a pleasure to work with and tries to resolve community issues quickly and efficiently. The two biggest annoyance about the community is the height of the speed bumps and the solicitors. Solicitors seem to think the posted no solicitors signs dont apply to them. If you speed through our community you will damage your car. That should be common knowledge, but youd be surprised at Ohio drivers inability to understand how speed bumps work.If youre a visitor here, please ignore the broken sign at the entrance. No one seems to care about it.
