Every time I go here they mess up my order every time for example, today I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with no pickles and they give me a spicy chicken with pickles and no sauce don’t recommend this place at all
Ordered the same thing at both Cambridge locations on two consecutive days, and they got the order wrong both times, in the same way. Ordered from the app both times. I had to walk inside and notify them of my order the first day. Second time, I was inside.
Always nice workers , if they are busy they try to get you through fast especially since it is the only fast food restaurant in our town

Took about 20 minutes from entering drive thru to actually getting my food. When ordering there was a long time before someone came on to take order, she then stated they were having computer problems. I understand things like that happen but then sat there about another 10 min. in silence before she came back to take order. Then get to pay window and their changing cash drawer, so waited again. No apologies,. I brought it up about the continue wait, which she acknowledged. Get to pick up and my drink is wrong and fries barely warm. Apparently they sat there a long time waiting on sandwich, because sandwich was very hot. I understand thing happen but acknowledge it so dont think were worth your time
They raised their prices a little too high!😞 The dining room is STILL closed,which really sucks! The drive thru SEEMED pretty efficient.ALWAYS check your bag and order BEFORE you leave the window because from time to time they forget SOMETHING
After the pandemic hit, they worked hard at their quality and service. After the reopening started they have had a hard time acquiring workers. So there are often lines as the current workers are often short-staffed. They are doing a great job though.

Ridiculous. There were about 8-9 employees, only 1-2 were actually doing their job. Every other employee was on their phone, including the manager. We ordered 3 things, and it took about 10 mins. Couldve been done in 5 if the teens were actually working. More than likely not revisiting this location.
Ive went to this McDonalds since I was young. Theyve made a lot of improvements in the past year or so. I visit frequently and generally have a pleasant experience.
Usually stop here for a quick bite when leaving town. Friendly service, but when busy there can be a bit of a wait in the drive thru.

This McDonalds was clean and inviting. There was a neat light table that changed when you touched it and we ate at that table. The table next to us had a large tablet for children also! So much fun! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the employee that brought our food didnt bring our drinks and when I asked she told me I could get them, but they were bottled OJ so I couldnt. She did bring them to us and was nice about it, she just didnt pay attention. Overall Im very happy we decided to eat in!

Its McDonalds. I dont expect prime steak. I do expect good, fast service, and thats what I always get here. They get the 5* because they exceed my expectations of their establishment. Their staff is always friendly, and they know me as a regular, even through the drive thru once a week.
I went through the drive-thru and I ordered a quarter pounder with cheese and went ahead and got a second one because its only a dollar and when I got home there was no bottoms on my sandwiches!! Smh😒 I mean come on really what kind of people work here!!

I love the staff here. Theyre out and about to help you with anything and the new order kiosks. Theyre SO friendly. I ordered a iced latte and got hot (which is fine, it happens! And they were really busy) but she went and fixed it right away. The service at this McDonalds puts most fancy restaurants to shame.
As McDonalds go, this location was clean, fast, friendly and helpful. Traveled through the area and we were able to get in and out quickly and my kids enjoyed playing the table top games available at this location. They also brought our food to the table which was very welcome having 2 kids with me.
Fries were half cold...we waited a long time in line in the drive.thru. they werent busy but the window girl was too busy talking to the car full of drunk people.
Food was fine, place was renovated recently and is nice, but but we didnt like the self-order boards. Takes a long time especially when holding a squirming child and then still had to go to the register to pay cash. Plus, we had to go back up, request help, and wait when our food came because they had forgotten part of it. Overall, there was nothing fast about todays experience.
The place was filthy. Floor was dirty and items under machines. Flavor containers were covered with the flavors not wiped off nor had been wiped off for a long time. Well check out the other McDonalds across town next time and if that one is as filthy well go to another type fast food restaurant. Totally disappointed.
People are kind here! The only thing we ever order is late night ice cream & we are always greeted with politeness and given enough napkins for our delicious dessert. Thank you!
Mcdonalds might not have the best customer service, a working ice cream machine, or dine in but the food is great. Its my personal favorite fast food place and the drinks, sandwiches, mccafes and fries are all wonderful
Bathroom for women was clean. My order at the kiosk did not print my receipt and the employee could not print it for me. After a looong wait my order was wrong. Wrong sandwich and gogurt missing from happy meal. Waaay too many packets(10?) of ketchup were given out for so few chicken nuggets. Employees seemed unorganized, confused and slow. They were kind, though, in correcting their errors.
Much more friendly than they used to be but when I am sitting for 5 minutes in the drive thru waiting for my fast food Hello or your food will be ready soon maam, from the person in the second window, would go a long way to improving my experience. It wouldnt take much. Instead they just ignore me from behind the glass. Also they never ask if you want ketchup any more, and if you ask for it it seems like its ruined their entire day. Seriously, its just some ketchup packets.
The cook had no hair net on then took of his hat and was scaching his dandruff over the food the other two young men had on hair nets as well working over fries had there mask down under the nose this place is un sanitary 😞

I purchase mocha frappes just about ever day. And being Cadiz is closer I would prefer to go there. However, everytime ive got my drinks there, they taste like bad milk and something is very off about them. So needless to say i wont go back.

I rated the food based in the context of other McDonalds food Ive had and not on restaurant food in general. Theyre always nice and try to get the food out quickly. If any issue here its the building, the staff keeps it clean but the owner should probably upgrade it.
This happened today at the McDonalds on wheeling AvenueI love McDonaldsOur family has a history like so many others taking our children and now enjoying the same with our grandchildren.This is the very first time that I have been so upset that I am taking the time to complain.Im still in fact sitting in your restaurant with our 4 year old granddaughter.Yes it is busy in here and yes it is the holiday season. We just got a happy meal and some burgers and the girls there tonight were very sweet and polite. Last time I was there I had someone stare me down because of her just moping the floors in the bathroom and I could tell she was pissed and then as I was leaving she made sure to mention how she keeps having to mop the floor and stormed off if my 2 year old girl wasnt with me I would of gave her a piece of my mind but anyway it was really nice to get a chance to have a better impression about this place. Very poor running restaurant. Rarely clean. I asked for a chocolate shake and was given a vanilla. When I said that wasnt chocolate the girl called someone else over and she said she made a chocolate shake so its chocolate... it was a white shake. I rarely get fresh food and if I do it is half put together and its not worth eating.
While the building has been nicely renovated, the service has not. Always a very long wait regardless of how many customers are present.I wrote the above review 7 months ago. No improvement. They messed up my order. Been sitting here waiting for the fries they forgot for 10 minutes now.

Drive thru is fast enough, but Im not a fan of the self checkout options if you eat in that make you enter your own orders. If you want to pay cash you have to go wait for a human anyway. Its redundant.
Usually pretty good service , always seem to fill the ice coffees a little to much so when u push in the area it goes everywhere also when youre training your new employees you tell them to say hello and be happy and you know talk a lot in the mornings and such not everybody likes teach your place to read the situation
Ordered on the order kiosk. Paid for food and waited. And waited. And waited. When my food was set on the counter there was no thank you no do you need anything else and no cups. When I finally got someone to acknowledge me and asked for cups I was told they’re over there by the register. All that and cold cold fries. By the way Thank You!!!
Made the mistake of going inside. Used the restroom, washed up then ordered. Took forever yet the drive thru kept rolling right along. Was tasty and hot just wasnt fast at all

Stopped in to get some food with my husband after our evening of fishing. Went in to wash my hands in the bathroom. No toilet paper in the stall. Told the woman at the counter and she replied Oh there wasnt any in there earlier either 😲😲😲 there wasnt even any customers In there when we walked in there. And tgr employees were wiping things down. But couldnt take 5 minutes to refill toilet paper! Hmmmm....been waiting 10 minutes for our food!
Was travelling and needed a bottle of water. Stopped here and wanted to use cash. Well apparently you have to order using a touch screen display, then bring your cash to the cashier who also gets your beverage. If I could give 0 stars I would they first gave a wrong sandwich, then they onions on another returned it missing drink went up and got it and it was spoiled then the second fixed sandwich came back wrong again. I will never go back here again you shouldn’t either if you want a delightful meal.
Just another McDonalds. Went inside this time and STILL got our order messed up. Is it really that hard to get it right? These younger folk need to take a little pride in their work, or they will never move up, or get a better paying job. Wendys NEVER messes up our meal, and they are three times as fast. I always like McDonalds. Drive thru is quick, but I was told I couldnt get an extra package of sauce unless I would pay an additional 30 cents. Pretty petty if you ask me. We spend $20 on food and they ask us to pay extra for a 10 cent package of sauce...Love the Big Macs though...

When my husband and i chose to come here we spend at least 30 minutes waiting with only one car in front of us in the drive through, every single time!! The serving time is the worst i have ever experienced in my entire life. The staff cant be seen from the window and you start to feel like they forgot your there!! We are done coming to east cambridge mcdonalds after hours... It is soooo 👎

Very slow moving line because the woman at the register must of been new. Seemingly didnt know what was on anything or how to check it. Then almost gave my food to someone else. And gave me toppings I asked to be removed. Also the kitchen was filled with flies and the staff was not nice.
Food tasted good. Liked the self-order kiosk, but I asked for extra Mac sauce on a Big Mac, and was charged .50. Never been charged for extra sauce before. Tatar on a Filet-o-Fish missed the bun and was in the box. Biggest issue was the grease covering the entire floor. There was a mop and bucket sitting in the middle of the lobby, but the floor was treacherous. I could slide across it like ice skating.

The reason for 3 stars:Our service, a young African American lady, was 5 stars! She was VERY efficient.Our STEAKS were 16oz rib eyes and, though they were cooked correctly, WERE NOT THE TOP QUALITY HAND CUT STEAKs as advised. Very quick, accurate service at 12:30 PM on a weekday. 4 stars instead of 5 because of the mens restroom. Not really bad but starting to get run down a bit. Could use a renovation.

Didnt notice till I was already gone. No biggy tho bc I know how it is. Go back through Lady in window tells me she cant take the old tea, never heard that before she then gives me the new. And as I pull away I taste the new . Its also unsweet. Now Im mad . Because why wouldnt she check . Or why would she get it out of the same container ! So I pull back in for the 3ed time ! I go in this time and she gets an attitude and tells the lady on front line Will you just give her a cup so she can get some sweet tea then walked away . This store is ok. Most of the time the employees dont know and/or dont care what they are doing. You always have to check your food because 90% of the time its not right.

Went through drive thru last night and they were not busy at all. I ordered my 3 yr old autistic son a 6pc nugget meal with apples. We get home and they only gave me half the nuggets, no sauce, no apples, and the tiny fry that goes with regular Happy meals. My son knows what he gets every day from there, needless to say he went into full meltdown mode. I called and let them know and was told to come today and get another Happy meal. I get there and they treat me like a liar, they tell me they will only give me a 4 pc. Nugget and a small fry. I would have had to deal with another 2 he meltdown. I told them I will go to a McDonalds that will get my order right. I spend money at McDonalds every day because unfortunately my son will only eat McDonalds. I will never give this location another cent of my money.

The remodeled building at the East Wheeling Ave location may have made the building look better but the service is WORSE than beforwand . If they dont mess your entire order up at least one food item is cold or old and at night theyre so lazy they throw whatever they have closest to it. I Recommend Southgate McDonalds.
Frappe had big chunks of ice. Took 22 minutes after ordering our food to get our coffees. Ingredients ordered for coffee werent in either one. No condiments. NOT HAPPY

They need to train their salad person a little better. Southwest salad, no corn, no black beans, no tomato , no tortilla chips. All it had was lettuce,chicken and a little cheese. Very disappointing.
Its a typical small McDs with 2 drive thru lanes. There IS NOT a single trash can outside around the parking area. If eat in the parking lot within your car, just throw any trash out the window. Maybe they will get the message.

The floors u slide in you can see you footprints the bathroom need to be cleaned. Instead of taking care of customers first the server got there food and left. Manger is a joke she got up from her break slides back to work.

Worst McDonalds I have ever been to. Tenders over done, order incorrect after I had to repeat it twice, and then had to wait on it when the food was sitting and done. Whitnessed the food sitting there myself, I had to tell them it was there lol.

Like usual, clean bathroom, same food everywhere. Good stop on a road trip.
Bathrooms were so disgusting and took 15 minutes for 2 sausage mcmuffins and a hashbrowns! Just a terrible experience.
I love breakfast but I waited in line for30 min.then was asked to pull over.not happy.

Typical McDonalds...stopped while staying the weekend in Wheeling. Grabbed a quick bite and left. Nothing special but nothing to stay away from either.

2022-06-14My son and I stopped on a trip south for breakfast. We both had the big breakfast with hot cakes. This McDonalds was clean, staff was friendly and the food was good and hot. No complaints

2022-05-1140 minute wait only to get cold fries and 2 quarter pounders only supposed to be with ketchup but they had cheese on them and cheese makes me sick but I was too frustrated to correct the order as they was super busy which I understand theyre busy but 40 minutes is ridiculous honestly.

2021-12-16I was at this location 2 weeks ago. Ordered a cheeseburger,fries and sweet tea. Don’t really have all that long for lunch always rushed .came back to work opened the cheeseburger thought something isn’t right here. Looked and only cheese on it. Sweet tea tasted like the container needs a good cleaning. I called talked to the manager and said she was sorry and wanted to know if I could run back down. Sorry I can’t do that. She told me she would get a gift card in the mail. 2 weeks later still haven’t seen it. Wendy’s is my new go to for fast food and love Tim Hortons sweet tea!

2022-03-01My DoorDash order was messed up and fries were ice cold. I would not recommend this McDonalds to anyone. Not sure if the employees are to blame or if its management but someone clearly need taught how to read and also have enough common sense not to send off cold french fries that have been sitting for who knows how long.

2019-01-19Great decor and very clean facility. The furniture and lighting are very unique and cool for a fast food restaurant. The staff here were friendly and the ordering was automated through a touch screen experience. The food choices are classic McDonald’s hence the four star rating, but if you are looking for a clean and hip vibe just off the highway there isn’t anything nearly as nice in this neck of the woods.
