This was the best service that I have ever received from a McDonalds with everything on my order correct and very friendly and courteous 🥰
McDonalds is McDonalds, honestly sometimes you can get a damn good big Mac and other times the burgers are completely dry, its a hit and miss, but at least Ive never once had them turn me away when ordering ice cream of any kind, they are decent in that aspect.
Newly remodeled. Very nice & clean play place. Great for children in the 4-8 age range. Besides the nice play place nothing makes this McDonalds any different than others.
Terrible service!!! Manger is rude and argued with me after saying she check my order and it was still wrong and missing items. DO NOT GO TO THIS MCDONALDS. USE DOORDASH THOSE ORDERS ARE CORRECT.

Had boycott Mcdonalds for about six months but broke down and went this AM. The bk closed down by us and I had a mad craving for a bfast sammich. Overcooked egg and nothing like an extra crunch of egg shell to go with it.In review bras words my disappointment is immeasurable and my day has been ruined.Nothing against the customer service at the window. This was the worst meal Ive ever gotten from here. No pies, chicken nugget and fries combo was cold.
I was asked twice about condiments and other items. Got home and there was one dipping sauce for 20 nuggets and a happy meal. The fries were not even close to being full. The burgers and nuggets were not hot or warm.
Do they even know what a hot French fry is???? Cold fries every time regardless of time of day is unacceptable
Arrived with about 10 cars in front of us and waited 30 minutes to get our food. When the food came out it was wrong and the bagel was stale. Additionally, the oatmeal at the location is not available without brown sugar, resulting in 0 healthy breakfast items on the menu. Went across the street and was able to get an oil change more quickly.

Place is extremely dirty. Food and trash everywhere and very hard to find a clean table to sit at. Play area was so nasty I could not let my child play. Trash was overflowing.

Twice in the past week I have sat at the drive through speaker with cars behind me to the street. Both times I pulled away after about 10 minutes to find no other cars at the windows and a worker just standing there like they dont know there are people waiting to order.
Its McDonalds. You dont need me to review it. It is what it is. The staff at this McDonalds have consistently been good. The food is what it is.

This location is filthy. There is food all over the floor, tables are not clean, and every garbage can is overflowing with trash.
Normally, Im not big on fast food but I love their caramel frappe. For the fastest service, I would recommend going when it isnt lunch or dinner.. the dining room is closed again because of COVID and the drive-thru line will literally be in the street if you try to go during peak hours!

My friend and I took our 5 kids and 2 extra kids here for lunch today. We ordered food at two separate registers, got our cups and headed to the play place to wait for our food. When our trays were brought out I personally was missing a snack wrap, regular fry, and kids fry. My friend was missing an entire kids meal. Both of our receipts had everything listed correctly so we informed the staff. Twice our forgotten food was brought out incomplete, at this point I leave her with the 7 kids and go to the register. Marcus the red haired young manager was who I approached and informed him we were still missing fries that we paid for. Very rudely he retorted with I know were getting them youll have them when theyre done you can sit down. I said its fine Ill wait. While waiting he began to belittle the woman who rang up my order saying this you need to watch what youre doing because Ive been yelled at by two people in the past 10 minutes for your screw ups at this point I became frustrated because neither one of us had even raised our voice or had an attitude with anyone because weve both worked fast food and understand mistakes happen. I looked at the woman and said whoa, whoa, neither of us have yelled at anyone and both of our receipts are correct and we rang up at separate registers. So I dont appreciate you telling her that we were yelling at you when this is the first time Ive spoken with you. He interrupted me to say Was I talking to you? This does not involve you whatsoever so you need to stop. At this point I decided it was best to keep my mouth shut as we had 7 kids with us. Once I took my food and sat back down Marcus left the store and went to a car that had about 5 other young guys in it, when he came back in with all of his friends they all stared at us and laughed. Im so disappointed that a manager was so blatantly rude to a customer, but more so that he was attempting to belittle a woman much older than himself in front of numerous people using a lie to do so. He needs re-trained or to work in the back he should never be on the front register or training an employee ever again. Disgusting behavior and quite frankly pretty pathetic treatment towards women.
At basketball tourney swing through to get a quick bite between games. No meat served with the BURGERS we ordered. Just pickles, ketchup and mustard. Luckily the remembered the bun. How do you forget the burgers. Lol. First time I have ever did a review but hey they Deserve lower then 1 star. Apparently that’s not an option.
The people on here need to chill out. All of you are acting like preofessional food critics 😂. I’ve been here multiple times and every time I’ve had great service. Being that I’ve worked in fast food myself I don’t judge too hard because I understand that mistakes happen. It’s literally fast food and you guys expect a 5 star hotel experience. If you want something great then go to Denny’s or Texas Roadhouse. That’s where great food and great service is at. But if you’re not a complete moron and know what to expect out of fast food then this McDonald’s is a great place to eat with the family.
Sometimes this location is very quick and efficient, other times it’s like they are in slow motion. The two times I’ve eaten inside so my kids could play in the Playland, the girl (same one both times) seemed annoyed that I mentioned we were missing an item (a fry one time and a whole meal the next). The second occasion she told me to take my receipt up to the counter and let them figure it out.
Ironic that Google asks me for a review after what happened today at their drive thru. Cassandra charged us .40 for extra sauce. I complained about paying that because we come there so often. She said RUDELY Well Ive been yelled at for it before so I have to charge you. Because she was so rude, I asked for her manager. She threw her arms in the air and said FINE, Ill go get a manager. Comes back with her manager and says Shes complaining about being charged for extra sauce. I let her manager know how she threw her arms in the air and rudely said fine she would get a manager. The manager couldnt believe it herself. She let me know someone else would be coming in 15 minutes and she would pull Cassandra off. By this time Cassandra was apologizing. Then the guy behind me drove off because it was taking too long. My little daily money spent there may not mean anything to them but if she isnt let go for talking that way, we will not return.

Super rude manager. Got here 10 minutes before breakfast ended and they wouldnt make me breakfast, so decided to settle for all day breakfast. yelled at me because I asked for a sausage cheese mcgriddle,I brought it up cause there was no cheese and the manager started yelling saying that I didnt pay for cheese and its 1$ extra. Probably the worst McDonalds Ive been to.. the employees were okay but the manager was just crazy
Way overpriced!! The Travis Scott $6 meal here is actually $10.20, thats the price of a burger and fries from a sit down restaurant! McChickens are $1.80 here when they are $1.00 elsewhere. Will not be going back. There are way better food options just 2 miles south (Culvers, Swensens, Wendys, 5-guys, etc.).

Thought it would be nice to go in and check out our remodeled McDonalds, Ive been a customer for twenty years. What a horrible experience, seemed to me everyone behind the counter was just trying to look like they were busy, my order was wrong not a problem but it took forever to receive the order so I didnt say anything plus it was thrown together so sloppy with just a size of a quarter piece of bacon on it, it wasnt even appetising! Everyone around us was upset also and that made it even more of a bad experience! Ive talked to others about this and they said the same thing the place has gone to s__t!
I am extraordinarily disappointed in the lack of customer accommodations at this McDonald’s in avon lake they lack spice in life as well as ice cream... my fellow friend and i went into and extreme depressed state in our life all because of this ice cream machine being broken. we are now happy to say we are proud partners of the Wendy’s establishment

We went through the drive thru and ordered a large quarter pounder meal and a medium big mac meal with a shake and paid $19.75. When we asked why so expensive, we were told its because they are hurting financially and needed to raise the prices. I have never paid this much for 2 meals at McDonalds. We go to McDonalds because its inexpensive, or at least its supposed to be!!
Staff is super friendly and fast. Food is always fresh unlike the location in Avon on Colorado Ave, which is closer to me but sucks. Id rather drive a couple minutes longer to this location which is WAY better!

I dont usually eat at chains but this McDonalds is the one place I would go if I did. Recent renovations have improved the appearance of the location. Everyone knows what to expect when they eat at a McDonalds. Would recommend if you need something quick and cheap!
The drive-through line was long for mid-morning, and I wondered why.I got to the order board, and asked for a sausage egg mcmuffin with cheese and a hashbrown. T0he screen says two sandwiches. I pointed that out, and a few seconds later, it was corrected.Then to the pickup window where, after some delay, the employee peers into the bag and asks if I ordered a breakfast burrito. No, I said, repeating my simple order. After another minute or so, the employee reappeared with the correct contents.Minor stuff, yes. Only slightly irritating because we all make mistakes. But two screwups on one very basic order may have been indicative of why the line was so long and the service relatively slow.And yes, the food was good., as food there goes. Just less than fast-food service.

So how use the drive-thru on this visit. Turns out they got a new sign. Clear as day again see how many calories everything is but I just cant find the prices on that sign. Luckily for me Im somewhat familiar with what things cost at McDonalds. I ordered three hamburgers with no pickle and medium fry. took me about 15 minutes to get it. Not sure if I key should blame the McDonalds or the idiot at the front of the line I forgot to order something! Admittedly was kind of unusual for this McDonalds theyre usually on the ball.
This place is always dirty! I am constantly wondering who is in charge. The manager today was more interested in eating that helping her own employee help a customer. As someone who was in the food industry for 13, this place is a disgrace. Its only saving grace is a nice playground.
Horrible service. Order a coffee at drive thru. Waited twenty minutes before going in. Manager offered nothing not even an apology. The employee was making me wait while she collected all the food for the cars behind me 4 cars. They werent even busy. Worse service is compatible with the McDonalds on the corner of West Ave and broad Street in Elyria. No sense of urgency or upbeat demeaner. Not on my list as well as places to avoid.
The Avon Lake McDonalds is the BEST in the area.....food is always great any time of the day or night. Bonus is the folks that work there are always pleasant and their manager is so kind.
Seems to always behind in orders, almost NEVER EVER stirs your flavored coffee with a spoon..when you ask them to stir, they swirl your cup and hand it back to you. Its disheartening and exhausting. But its the only McDs in town..and thats what they count on
The Avon Lake McDonalds is disgusting. The food is always sloppy. Anytime I order a cheeseburger there’s ketchup all over the outside of the bun and grease poring off it. If you order a breakfast sandwich 9out of 10 times the muffin is stale. It’s the worst McDonalds I’ve ever been to. I go to the on near Crocker Park in Westlake, it’s the best McDonalds in the area
Worst McDonalds on the planet. In 12 years, never a hot sandwich or fresh fries, half the employees, including some management, are extremely rude, @90% of all the orders over 12 years have been incorrect. This place needs a complete overhaul. Shameful.
Just went through the drive thru. There were 14 cars in front of us & we had our food and was pulling out in 12 min. They got everything correct so kudos to you crew!
Worst McDonalds I have EVER been to. Ordered a cheeseburger and the bun was so rock hard I could knock it on my car window. Another time I ordered a burger and fries and they were so cold the cheese on the burger was like plastic. The staff is lazy and rude and has tried to overcharge me almost everytime I go there. I moved to Avon lake from west Cleveland and I had better McDonald’s from the slummest McDonald’s over there.. literally haven’t had a correct order or warm fries any time I have been there. Eating my rock hard nuggets as we speak. Just about ready to give up on this McDonald’s.

The staff is almost always rude. And they barely ever get the order right. Better off with the mcdonalds on chester or the one on henderson. This one needs to train the crew better.
Milk shake machine was down. It seems during prime time, I was told the same at different McDonalds . I do not think they want to take the time to make them at rush hour.
First time at this location , definitely wont be back . The womens bathroom was absolutely disgusting, I can see if you were at a busy rush ,but I was only I if 5 people in the dining room , trash was overflowing in the stall I was in , the toilet looked like noone cleaned it in a few days , mirror and sink area was pretty bad too, . Before going to that location I was across the street at Burger King parking lot , decided to go to McDonalds , wrong choice.

They have the worst customer service Ive ever seen. Everyone is rude. No consistency what so ever. I ordered a egg breakfast sandwich and there was no egg. I went back around and they had they acually had the nerve to say they were giving me free egg on the sandwich when I paid for it. Ive gotten food that was raw. Im very suprized I didnt get food poisoning. I also had a mocha frape that tasted rotten like they didnt clean there machine for a week. Im fed up and will not go back again. Ive been there multiple times to give them another chance. But when you have horrible management nothing will change.

I go to this mcdonalds fairly frequently. Usually they provide good service; however, when you ask for no salt on your fries, the drive thru clerk specifically states your fries are no salt and you reach to grab said fry on your limited lunch break.Surprise one: the fries are completely facing the wrong direction(meaning they are all spilled into the bag) I can live with that.Surprise two: they have salt on them. Now why would you clarify with me what type of fry I ordered then proceed to give me the opposite? This is not me playing the I-cant-have-sodium nonsense but the fact that I truly dislike salt on fries.Surprise three: every time I go to call them using the number provided by google it simply states the number is busy.If youre wondering, yes I had to eat the fries because Im working a 10 hour shift today. Terrible. Kids area is dirty. Saw young kid finally take out over filled trash. Bag had a hole in the bottom, being in the kids area slot of leftover chocolate milk leaked from bag. The kid dragged it across the floor where kids in their socks, started to soak up the milk with their socks. By the time he grabbed the gross mo to clean it up it was gone.
The dining area and playland dining tables and floors need to be cleaned more often and on a regular basis! The floor in front of the drink bar is always slippery with what seems like greasy water. Im afraid someone is going to fall and get hurt! The floor needs to be cleaned with a nongreasy mop and a good floor cleaner on a regular basis as well!
This is the worst location in the state.The workers and the manegers in this location are stingy ugly mean rude people. My food was cold my drinks as half filled my fries were cold and saggy and my sons happy meal had the wrong toy and when I asked for an extra sauce for my sons chicken nuggets they charged me 30 cents for it and gave me a bad look. Against my better judgement I stopped to get my mom oatmeal and my wife an egg McMuffin. Two small coffees plus the food came to $9.20. I paid and wasnt given a receipt. My mom was with me. I go through the drive through and they forget the oatmeal. I dont move and when they come back two different women argue with me saying that without a receipt they cant help me. I LEVER LEFT!! They didnt give me one! Check the cameras, count out the drawer, figure it out! Not only that, the manager had the nerve to tell me they didnt charge me for it... Since when did an egg McMuffin cost $8? Avon Lake McDonalds is a horrible place and I will never ever ever go back again in my entire life. Second terrible experience and there will not be a third.
I remember the old days when McDonalds was the place you go to for an inexpensive tasty meal. Now you need to take out a loan to feed your family there. How ridiculous. Now McDonalds for me and my family is a last resort.

I enjoy the new way of ordering food using the large computer screen. Its really nice that they bring your food out to your table and clear the table. You dont see that in a fast food restaurant.

We arrived in the drive thru, greeeted, but she was in a huge hurry to take our order. Just assumed we were thru after ordering 2 happy meals - never asked what kind of sauce for the nuggets (the screen said none) The gal who took our money was very nice. Then it was over. 2 People in the window where they hand out food...very rude, never greeted us, never asked if we needed ketchup, knocked my drink over, didnt refill it, when I handed the drink carrier back to her she rolled her eyes at me, never smiled, rude. When we got to our destination no napkins. I will never go back to Avon Lake McDonalds.
This McDonalds is always busy so you have to make sure that you check your bag if you go through the drive through. It never fails that something is always missing from my order when I leave.
Ordered cheese burgers and hamburgers for the adults and chicken nuggets for the kids... not one cheeseburger had meat on them, called the manager Joe and asked to bring them back (no problem) then we get the correct order and go home, there were only 18 nuggets in the 20 pc order and all the new cheeseburgers had a ball (the size of a golf ball) of mushy onions on top. Good help is hard to find...
This MickeyDs is horrible. Sure, they are usually pretty fast. Also they cant get an order right, or make products that look edible. You can NEVER get two fillet OFish sandwiches that dont have the sauce missing or splattered out the side of the sandwich. Most other sandwiches look mashed into the wrapper, and are unappealing to look at.
McDs is a fast and fairly cheap replacement for food. Its good if you are crunched on time. I go a lot, even though its exthrmely unhealthy. I would recommend as a once in a while treat for a child.
I saw Michael Symon and Gordon Ramsey sharing a 20 piece nugget here, its that good. I think they add actual cocaine to the Coke, its that good. Saddam Hussein would be jealous of the opulence of the bathroom facilities, its that good.
They need to open the indoor section of the restaurant. The line is usually out to the street and service is terrible.
Was there on 11/30/2018. The young female managers and workers were doing a great job during busy time...felt bad for being rude on my order...not at all there fault.....young man who was cashier was very friendly!!!
Up-to-date with pc ordering and the decor is trendy with the map of Avon on the wall. There is an indoor playgroubd which is great for bad weather but its for kids 6 and older as younger kids would likely get hurt. Food is always served fast and cheap in McDonalds fashion.

So we ordered a dinner box meal a chicken sandwich and 2 sausage and cheese Mcmuffins . we waited in the drive through 15 min. Got the food home to discover it was all cold . Everything was col. I called the manager and explain to him every thing was cold. He told me everything he was sorry about that that if I wanted to bring my recipt he would replace it . It was almost 10:30 at night. He said or you could bring it tomorrow. What was my name? Just bring me thr the recipt.So today I go and talk to the afternoon management was in. I was informed by him that there was nothing he could do because it was a dinner box THEY DONT REPLACE DINNER BOXES . that I would of had to bring the whole thing back with m. This is the worse McDonalds I have visited. When you ask for coffee at the Drive Thru, dont expect to get a full cup of coffee. If you ask for more in it, prepare for a rude response and going out of your way to argue with them.

This is a terribly run McDonalds. Last 3 times I have been at drive thru, got home and didn’t receive an item that I ordered. Oh and if you go inside, they don’t have a ketchup dispenser. When you ask for ketchup they act surprised!

The service was fast but the play area had no clean tables to sit at. I had to wipe one down before we sat at it.

Used drive-thru. One car in front of me. Took 12 min from the time I paid at the first window to pick up my food at the second window. Fries were overcooked.
After pacing my order at 320....sat at a table waiting for order to be brought out, at 338 had to get up to see what hapoened to my order...(big mac and ff) they realized they hadnt brought it out...when they did it was cold...never coming here again..thus was strike 3

2022-06-29This mcdonalds location is great. they have never messed up on my order, always have been willing to brew coffee even when its late. and staff is very friendly and competent.the thing I wish that all locations would change, is when its darker out, to dim the drive thru menu screen by about 90%. Its incredibly blinding and becomes more of a distraction than a help.

2022-06-09This is your average McDonalds that you know in your town. You can get good food for a cheap price. I liked everything about it except the kiosk. It’s a bit hard to navigate. There was a sign saying I had to use it for ordering. I wanted to pay with cash, but it does not give you an option until you cancel the payment on the keypad. Other than that the place was mainly clean and I got my food in 5-10 minutes.

2022-05-03At the end of March I was overcharged $5 by this location. I have been calling McDonalds customer service for over a month now trying to get this resolved. Ridiculous!!Updatwd - So my final call to McDonalds customer service today told me I had to go to the restaurant for the refund. They are franchises and McDonalds wont handle the refunds. I frankly dont even know why they have a customer service line if they are just going to tell you to go back to the restaurant. So, I took everything to the restaurant and they refunded me. She was very nice about it.So, my complaint is really with the McDonalds corporation. They drug this out over a month when they could have told me straight off that I had to deal with the restaurant regarding my mobile order overcharge.I know they dont care but I wont be patronizing McDonalds anymore. The company is horrible.

2022-01-30The WORST service ever, they had me wait on the side for a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit and hash brown for 20 minutes then they gave me the food that another vehicle had returned to the McDonald’s employee right in front of me, the employees are terrible and they are NASTY in what world would you re-give other peoples food to the customers. NEVER again will I use this McDonald’s they should be ashamed of them selfs.

2022-07-02I had ordered two 20-piece chicken McNuggets. I was given to 10-piece chicken McNuggets and a plain cheeseburger which had zero toppings on it. The food was not the best.
