Im glad I finally went to McConnell Meats & Farm Market! The sirloin and London Broil were awesome! The fresh chocolate milk was amazing! They have a great selection of meats, plus they have Boars Head cold cuts!!! I cant wait to go back! Its like a toy store for someone who loves to grill fresh meat!

We have been there a few times now. Each time has a great experience. There is always someone friendly available to answer questions. Very nice people! The best thing about this place is the quality and selection of meats available. They also offer bakery goods. I highly suggest that you stop in and shop. You will appreciate the difference.
Went for my first time today & let me just say, everyone was super nice. There are so many delicious foods to choose from! Also bought homemade soap & lip balm. This milk was delicious 🥰
Their meats are the best! Beats any high end grocery store steaks by miles, and at a lower price. Best beef tenderloin and ribeye, 5 star restaurant quality. They also carry locally loved favorites (from small businesses) like Suzin L. chocolates, Orlando breads, and Hartzlers dairy products, including many others. A must go if you want the best quality steaks or hamburger meat (at a cheaper price!) and pick up local, Cleveland-area loved (and personally my favorite) chocolate, dairy, and breads!

Wanted to try local meat market. Bought a few items trying them out wasn’t pleased with the recipe I let them know about it. They have new management and new recipes they treated me very good I will shop there again

I prefer my neighborhood K &K Portage Meats. This is close and convenient to my work. A really nice place.
*WARNING READ FOR YOUR FAMILIES WELL BEING!! When they first opened they started out great but went downhill QUICKLY. I have been there MANY times however the last drew the line... there was bone or gristle ground inside the hamburger AND When I went I purchased 20lbs of hamburger like I do EVERY week plus chops, roast and a cpl steaks the lady asked if I minded part of it frozen I thought why not Im freezing it anyways HOWEVER THE FROZEN PACKAGES GO BAD AS THEY THAW!!! THE MEAT WAS GOING BAD WHEN THEY FROZE IT!!!..... I pull it out of my deep freezer and place it on a paper plate put it in the fridge overnight to thaw.....
Weve tried a number of different beef cuts from McConnell now, delivered via Market Wagon, and every time its the best quality and flavor weve had from any provider, local or national. The flat iron steaks are the best deal going, affordable and super tasty - just marinate for a little bit and grill em up quickly, and ta da, tasty tasty steak for not a lot of money.Smokies with flavor and a substantial snack. The ground beef was top notch, and the tastiest short ribs weve found came from McConnell.The brats are some of the best Ive EVER tasted - local, national, or international!Just all around deliciousness and joy. One day well make it up to visit!

Large selection of meats, cheeses, and other items! I personally think they have good pricing for what your getting. We no longer, buy meat from anywhere, but here.
What a great marketplace! We way over spent, but the variety, kindness, and quality was amazing. Do stop in. Youll love it. I let the girls give suggestions and fill my cart with goodies. We tried everything on the way home and just loved all the great flavors. Hope you love it too.

Staff here is great every-time I come in I must look silly just looking around at all the photos. They have a great supply of fresh meat and also local goods that they support from other local merchants.
We went there on Saturday, a very busy day there. The people working there are great. The service is fast and friendly.The quality of their meat is top notch. Of course their beef is high quality but the sausage is and pork is good also.
Disappointed in the Porterhouse steaks I received as part of a meat bundle. Was expecting nice red meat with marbling instead got to gray and brown steaks. Not what I would of expected from this place. The hamburger and stew meat packages were good.
The meat is very, very good. The prices are not bad, especially if you do your shopping at places like buehlers or giant eagle, and the meat is much better than you will find in the chain stores. Boars head deli prices are comparable to most of the places I shop at. The staff is absolutely the best thing there, which is amazing because the meats are awesome.

Such a cool place, best steaks Ive ever bought. They also have interesting sausages, eggs, condiments, and the like. Certainly worth checking out if youre in the area.
Been in the store a couple times and this last time we purchased a couple different steaks. They’re very friendly and the store is very clean. They have a lot of options. The ribeye I bought was excellent and my wife thoroughly enjoyed the beef tenderloin (cut for Filet Mignon). We’ll definitely be back to try additional meats. They also have a couple aisles of various sauces and other side foods.

I stopped in yesterday for first time. The staff was very friendly. I did pick up two of the Sirloin steaks, which I fixed today for dinner. They were good, but for $11.99 a pound they were a bit disappointing. I do not always give positive reviews, but I always give honest reviews.
No better meat around here. From farm to table. We went for steaks when they first opened and now we get all of our meats here. They also support other local businesses and sell their products here as well. The staff and owners are super friendly and helpful, they will cut what you want, and they have some great freezer stocking deals as well.
Great new meat Market alittle on the pricey side. Very clean and family owned, must buy at least $10 worth, if using credit. Its ok if you like spending the big bucks. I recommend this place of Business. Not sure Ill be back my local meat market is far less expensive.

The problem I have is “Farm Fresh”. What does that even mean? And…are they raising the livestock they actually sell? No they don’t. Most of this is the marketing gimmick. We got 2lbs of Bacon and burgers. Good yes. For the price. I’m sorry no.
Purchased a couple of your strip steaks tonight. My son reverse seared them and they were the best Ive ever had - melted in your mouth and very flavorful. Well be steady customers from now on.
Stopped by while in town visiting family, didnt purchase alot because of traveling, tried their smokies and they are outstanding. I will definitely plan ahead next time to take some home.

Dont waste your money on the ground beef. The lady at the counter said it was 20% fat. It was more like 50% fat. My burger shrunk down to the size of a quarter. Garbage I will not be buying product again!

Just got the scoop they were open and I was out and about so I stopped in to see the new meat spot. A fne selection of meats and a whole bunch of local food finds for popcorn to pickles and milk to honey. Dont forget some home made soap to wash your dirty hands, they have it! Worth a stop in!

2022-03-29This is the second and LAST TIME I will go to McConnells !!! The first time I bought 3 pounds of Ground Beef and had pieces of bone in two of the pounds when I used it. I thought well lets give them another chance. Today I bought 6 pounds of Ground Sirloin and 4 Smoked Pork Chops and actually only got 2 Good Pork Chops. Two are fine but, well look at the pictures. I paid over 15.00 dollars for two Chops !!! I cant wait to use the Ground Sirloin, I sure wont use that when company is coming to dinner !!! Really poor quality , Dont waste your money there !!!!!

2022-02-18First time coming here. OMG 😲 the meats are amazing. Bought hamburger, steaks, chicken, smokies and beef jerky.I will never buy meat again from a regular grocery store. Awesome employees and if you have any questions they are ready to answer them. Im coming back in 2 weeks and bringing friends.

2022-04-30I think its great to have a local meat market! My only complaint is this. Today was my second time going to the market. My parents love this place so they gave me a gift card for Christmas. I went to use this gift card today and their system for gift cards was down. No big deal, its not the fault of the staff and these things happen. I was mildly irritated that that didnt have a solution other than another means of payment, putting the merchandise back or waiting until its fixed on Monday. Its not my fault their system is not working and what merchant provider is ok telling a business to wait until Monday for payment processing resolution????

2021-07-27Today my friend owner of Ventito bakery bought meat from your business today. Donna even agreed you have the best beef. Your pepper Garlic beef is out of this would. The T-bone steak were so tender and the taste. The best steaks. We also tried your 90/10 ground beef. The hamburgers were the best we have ever had. I especially liked the arrangement of various sauces and spices sourced mostly from local makers! 10/10 will come again.P.S. The landscaping is wowowoowowww 😉
