McBrides was great to me! They were thorough, honest, quick, and extremely friendly. Gave a diagnostic report, hunted down parts, and replaced my brake pads within two hours. I will gladly go back to get more repairs done.

McBrides Automotive Repair Inc. gives great service at a fair price.My Dad told me that McBrides Automotive Repair Inc. has a good reputation.Also, McBrides labor rate is much cheaper than a Ford dealerships hourly rate.I had a heat shield that went bad. McBrides was able to schedule the repair on my day off from work.One of their mechanics removed the heat shield. We have been happy customers at McBrides for many years. They have always treated us fairly and have consistently resolved our vehicles problems. They are pleasant to deal with, their pricing is fair, and they fix car problems promptly. We plan to keep going to McBrides, and we refer our friends to them as well.

My car had a serious transmission problem with an electrical component that caused the clutch plates not to engage properly. I had my car towed to McBrides because I trust their work and have been repairing my car for many years and do excellent work. Due to the nature and complexity of the situation the Owner of McBrides personally diagnosed, did research on the problem and was honest with me about the time it will take to repair etc. After repairing my transmission within two days I drove to Columbus for training for my work. My transmission worked as good as or better than new! and will continue to be a reliable car because of McBrides. I decided to keep the car since the repair was done.
I have been using McBrides automotive for over 10 years for all of my vehicles. Ive always been well treated, any repairs or maintenance were done quickly. Mcbrides has always stood behind there work. I highly recommend this automotive business.
I absolutely adore everyone here. I’ve had such a hard time with my car lately, and every time I bring it in they are fair and kind, and they get it done so quickly. They took us in on emergency basis but did not think they could get to us for a few days but managed to fix it within 24 hours. Highly recommend them
They do a great job and dont try and sell you on additional work . They make you aware of what other things will need repair down the road but they are not pushy about it. They call back when they say they will also. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a garage they can trust.

2022-06-09As a new 1st time customer, Dave at the front desk in the office helped me make my first appointment and asked me to bring my car in “as close to 8AM as I could”. I did just that, showing up about 10 minutes earlier and was amazed to find the place already in full scale operation with cars being completed from inside the shop and coming out. My car is 13 years old and it needed the Air Conditioner serviced. I was surprised pleasantly when Dave called me at home much sooner than I expected & explained to me the job was completed and what had been done. Besides the AC job, the spare tire is stored underneath the chassis and it has an inflation sensor that lights up on the dash when the pressure decreases just like the regular four tires do. While the car was up on the lift, the mechanic kindly re-inflated the spare and the tire inflation sensor on the dashboard turned off finally. The AC works great. I will definitely return for upcoming regular routine service. While I was there I noticed a lot of “regular” customers coming and going. Since I was a first time customer it was reassuring to see so many “regulars”. I too hope to become a “regular” customer. :-) !!!! Thanks Dave!

2019-03-15My husband and I dropped his car off this morning at McBrides. We are first-time customers. The first impression of the shop is how orderly, neat and clean! All phone contact and conversation in the shop was professional and cordial. Most of all, we cant say enough about how impressed we are with this shop. They took the car in and fixed it the same day. The price was excellent, not that much more than if my husband had struggled through and did the repair of the power steering hoses himself. (And well worth not listening to my husband hating doing the repair!) They even discovered a headlight that was out and fixed that when they were repairing the car... after asking if we wanted them to do it. I can say that this is the first repair shop we have found that we trust. Thankfully, we have only had a few repairs to cope with, but it is great to know that McBides is nearby and is competent, reliable and trustworthy. We will recommend them to anyone who is looking for the best at the best price. If we could give them more stars, we would!

2020-07-01I needed my car repaired for a trip in 3 days.. After calling several shops that couldnt get me in for a few weeks to a month, I spoke to David who had me bring it in. They are honest they dont try to sell you things you dont need. Clean shop and professional care service. They have my car service business as long I own a car. Thank you for helping me in my tight schedule with a fair price. AWESOME!

2020-02-25When my old mechanic shop closed down, I was stressing over finding a new one...then I found McBrides. I have taken my vehicle there twice, Jon F has taken care of me both times, and I have totally been happy with the work he has done on both occasions. Its hard to find a good mechanic that you can trust...but this is the spot. I was amazed the first time I went there, on how many folks were bringing their vehicles in for repair. I talked to a few, because I was new and they all claimed to be repeat customers...one gentleman told me about how he took his daughters first car in there for repair because he wanted to make sure it was done right and he only trusted them to do it. That speaks volumes! I highly recommend this shop!

2021-01-11They fixed a problem that my car has been having for years and that no one else could find. Ive had my car in numerous times to different garages and no one could figure out the issue. They explained what was wrong and fixed everything very quickly. I appreciate the kindness they showed. During these times the less stress the better. I appreciate their time and effort and will be going back again

2019-03-15Quality repair shop. Honest and very friendly crew.. Dropped my car off three days before they would be able to fix it. They had it fix and ready to go the next day- and at no cost because it was under warranty. Dropped my car off completely stressed out and picked it up feeling like I hit the lottery thanks to their honesty and hard work. Great place.. would 100% recommend. They do a great job and stand behind their work. Very happy customer 👍🏼

2018-04-03McBrides provided the best auto repair service! I have older cars that other shops were unable to fix. McBrides provided a quick estimate and repaired the vehicles immediately. There were no problems with the repair work. I simply left the cars, received a quote, and paid over the phone after the work was completed. Then I picked up the cars at my convenience.

2018-03-04If you live in the Canton area, there is no better place I would recommend for vehicle maintenance and repair than McBride’s. Each time I take my car there I am met with excellent communication and service, timely repair, a fair price, and work done right.
