We have been using McAfee H & A to maintain our in-home heating and air conditioning for about 3 years. We have been very satisfied with our service and planned to have them replace both systems in the near future. Unfortunately our furnace decided to expedite that decision at the end of February and we found ourselves in a COLD house. We reached out to McAfee and someone was available to quote the new system/s the next day. Drew E. thoroughly discussed all options, accessories, installation inclusions & costs. We were put on the next available date on the following week. On the day of the installations, our technicians, Michael F and Ken S arrived on time and got right to work. Care was taken to cover traffic areas and their work was done expeditiously, with attention to detail and workmanship. After all installation was completed, another employee, Chris, availed himself to cover in great detail the new, sophisticated thermostat control for both systems. We were thrilled to put away our “space heaters” and enjoy the comfort of a quiet and efficient furnace once again. Special thanks to all who were involved in making that happen. Had a new furnace and A/C unit install by Steven L and Janson B this week. It was an outstanding experience. They were here when the promised and the install was in my estimate perfect. They were knowledgeable, professional and extremely pleasant. They were very respectful of our property and left the job site cleaner than when they arrived. I enjoyed working with the McAfee team! Danny came out and gave me an estimate for a new heat pump system. He was friendly and answered all my questions. There was no high pressure sales pitch and he was responsive when I contacted him days later with new questions.On install day Mike and Steve were early. They were professional, friendly, and gave me a thorough run down of the system before they left. It was a pleasure to work with them!Later the same day Robert knocked at our door. He was there to double check the installers work and make sure everything was up to code. Robert was also professional and willing to answer questions.I had no idea he was coming. I was very reassured to see how thorough the McAfee company is!
Troy just performed our A/C PM and was very professional and thorough. He was friendly and personable. We have been on the McAfee Comfort plan for many years and remain very satisfied with this service. Although our unit is old we have never been pressured to replace it.
To begin we had our carbon monoxide detector go off Sunday night had to call 911 had really high levels of carbon monoxide thank god for our detector going off so we called McAfee they had Michael come out same day we called , he gave us a couple different options to choose he was very efficient,friendly, no pressure attitude..The 3 gentlemen Nick,Jason, Chris who came to install was very professional wore foot booties lol also swept up there mess, also took us on a journey to show us and explain what they did and answerd all our questions..I am very happy with the work its so shiny and quite..Thank you all for the fast and friendly service you guys rock...ps thanks for throwing in the wi fi thermostat.....
Today is 1/18/20 we have very bad weather, ice and rain and cold. They really showed up in this bad weather with smile in the face and greeting. McAfee representative just left my house because I had schedule air duct cleaning with them today. Mike and Josiah showed up on time and of course they called 20 min head of time to confirm they coming. They showed up on time. They have great customer services, They really care for their customers. WE do not wear shoes in the house and this guys real care for our concerns and they listen to us with open mind. They did use shoe covers inside the house. Not only they did awesome job, they also explained what they going to be doing and what will happen and how does it works, They are awesome educators too. After they recommended air purifier, so I go head and did it on spot while they are here, they give me great discount. I love love love McAfee , they are the best in OHIO. I will total recommended and I been customer for more than 3 years now. I have membership with them. I really recommended this place, very professional people.NO more allergies,No more dirty air swallowing,No more odor,No more bacteria,Welcome fresh air and filter.Thank you so much McAfee for everything you do and great service you provide. We had our air ducts cleaned by Mike and Joe. Our air ducts are the original ductwork in a 70-year-old home and it was apparent they had never been cleaned before. Mike and Joe did a thorough and professional job and we couldnt be happier with the result. We highly recommend McAfee for any HVAC service. They have installed both our current furnace and air conditioning systems as well as performing the duct cleaning service. McAfee (plus Mike and Joe) gets five stars from us!!!!
What can be said about this company that hasn’t already been stated? Our furnace was acting up and we decided to call McAfee to take a look at it. Well the furnace was on the last legs (20 years old). The technician that came out stated that he could fix it up, but it was only a matter of time. We decided to have a sales person come out and give us an estimate. Upon arriving he gave us many options and saved us money by recommending what was appropriate for our home, because we thought bigger was better. I also asked him to look at our dinosaur of a air conditioner (31 years old). Once again we thought bigger was better. The salesperson let us know he would happily install a more powerful air conditioner, but it wasn’t needed.We did end up replacing both units and enrolled in their amazing comfort club. EVERY person that came out from McAfee (Tyler, Justin, Mike, Conner and the others that I forgot) were professional, punctual and well trained.I can not say enough about this company and it’s employees. Also the owner does so much for the Dayton Community we decided to stay local and support local.
Service Agent Josh was terrific. He was thorough, knowledgeable, and professional. His ability to analyze the problem with my furnace and fix the problem was outstanding. Don’t let him get away, great employees are the lifeblood of a company. I think you should give him a raise and I am not a relative. Thank you, McAfee.
McAfee sent out a technician the same day I called. An approximate time of arrival was agreed upon, and Robert (the technician) called me 15 minutes before he was going to show up at my house. Robert assessed the situation quickly and explained everything in easy terms that I could understand and we discussed a couple of options. Robert was very down to earth and easy to communicate with. Furthermore, Robert was professional and very respectful of my home, and wore shoe coverings before entering. I dont have a single negative comment to add to the experience.
Starting out with the initial service call the technician was very honest and truthful with us. We set up an appointment with a sales representative and I felt he gave us a very good deal on a complete system. Then the technicians came out today to install the whole unit in the attic. They did a very fine job and I would recommend them to anybody. We are very satisfied with McAfee heating and air And we will definitely refer them to other people. Thanks to all of you we feel safe in our home with no carbon monoxide poisoning and no more water dripping through the ceiling. You guys rock
I have used McAfee for service since the past 10 years. They repaired old heating/cooling system and also installed a new system in my home. Their work has been excellent and done in a professional, knowledgeable, courteous manner. Highly recommend this company to neighbors and friends.
A Customer for life. Their experienced salesman Danny P. provided the right quality system for our needs which included a dehumidifier. Their on site metal shop custom made our HVAC base for a perfect fit to ensure no leaks around the base of the unit. Installers Michael F. and Joe C. were responsive to our questions and feedback doing a superb job ensuring a well sealed, clean installation of both interior and exterior units. We also took advantage of their monthly maintenance plan which includes all filters, check ups and repairs FOR LIFE, at about $40 a month. Why go anywhere else?
McAfee is great! Our furnace stopped working on Thursday night. With two small kids, it was important that we got our heat working as quickly as possible. Someone called me back early Friday morning and we had a technician at our house that afternoon. Charles M. was awesome! He was very friendly and personable. He quickly diagnosed the problem and wasted no time getting it repaired. He was also very open and honest about how much longer we had on our furnace. Providing honest advice that we will need to replace in the near future. In addition, we had yet to have our yearly maintenance done on our furnace. Since we are part of the Comfort Club, Charles went ahead and completed the maintenance so we wouldnt have to schedule another appointment to have that completed. Thanks for being on top of everything!! We really appreciate it!
We installed a new furnace from McAfee about 3 years ago and Nick & Jason just finished installing a new central A/C unit. These fellows did a great job in a pouring rain storm. I contacted McAfee for my A/C due to the positive experience I had when they replaced my furnace. Good quality at a reasonable price. I highly recommend.
On March 4, 2021 Michael F. and Ken S. installed a new heating/air conditioning/thermostat system in our house. Professional, friendly, knowledgeable guys. Took away all of the old system and didnt leave a speck of dust for me to clean up. I meant to leave this review earlier but life got busy and I just found my paperwork when I was doing my filing today. It was a pleasure having them in our home. Its always a great experience dealing with McAfee employees.
I just had my air ducts cleaned and I am extremely satisfied with McAfee. From the First call to schedule the appointment to the service technicians Mike and Cody everything was done professionally. When I first called the receptionist was professional and asked appropriate questions about the number of ducts that my house had and I had 14 and was quoted $675. When the technicians came, they were professional and wanted to keep me safe during the Pandemic and were very careful about distance and working throughout my house. When they started working they found my vents glued down and had to move to the attic. I had 1 duct in my kitchen that was very dirty and they allowed me to clean and continued doing other work to allow me time to clean it. They clean up after themselves also. Extremely professional. If there was a higher number I would give it. Great experience and will highly recommend to family and friends.
I cannot recommend McAfee Heating & Air Conditioning highly enough. They just completed our winter Comfort Club inspection, and as usual they made it an easy and pleasant experience - from scheduling the appointment to the technicians completing the service. I especially appreciate the efforts that are made to communicate with the customer in multiple ways (phone, text, and email) so I knew what to expect and when. Nathan and another technician called in advance, arrived promptly, and were both friendly and completely professional in their attitude and appearance. They went straight to work, did a thorough job both indoors and out, and left our home as clean as they found it. One issue I pointed out to Nathan (an odd vibrating sound) was addressed quickly and was found to be a quick, easy, and free fix (a piece of insulation touching a fan blade). I appreciate the honesty in this situation, as some companies surely would have diagnosed a much more expensive repair. McAfee knows how to treat customers, and is a model of how businesses should operate.
We have always had the best service from McAfee Heating & Air Conditioning. We recently had our air ducts cleaned and was very pleased. Mike and Andrew were our service men and they were very knowledgeable, efficient and polite. We also had a new furnace and air conditioner installed in November. We appreciate how this company is always on top of things. They are prompt in answering our calls and they always call ahead of time to remind us of when they are coming to perform their service. The entire staff of McAfee employees that we have dealt with have been exceptional!!
Our heater went out around midnight on the coldest night of the year. After calling several companies for emergency services (several which claimed to be 24 hour and never called us back), most of which either didn’t have the part in stock at the moment (an ignitor) or couldn’t be there until the next morning- we finally called the company we should have called first. McAfee not only answered (a real person), but had someone at our house in less than 30 minutes. The repairs were made quickly and the technician let the heat cycle a few times to ensure it was working properly (about 15 minutes). Even better, they beat everyone else’s prices for emergency service and repair. The technician was professional and courteous. We are loyal to McAfee now! Thank you for such amazing service!
We had our air ducts cleaned out by Mike and Jason. They were very respectful of our home and pets and did a very thorough job. They took some before/after photos of our ductwork that were pretty incredible. We had decades of pet hair buildup and the guys were able to remove it in a matter of minutes. Strongly recommend this service.
I am incredibly blown away by the professionalism and kindness of the technician I interacted with this evening. Jason, is an absolutely outstanding person and an efficient service technician. He arrived to my home with the most pleasant demeanor and went right to work to address the problem with our furnace. He explained to us the situation and the remedies. He was very thorough, informative, honest, and polite. He was one of those people you meet and feel like you have known forever. We had Jason at our house for a routine AC inspection. He was prompt, courteous, and respectful of our time and our house while he was there. He took the time to explain the recommended repairs to our AC unit and showed us why he recommended them. We enjoyed the experience and we will continue to use McAfee for our HVAC needs!*Edit: We again had Jason at our house for a seasonal furnace check-up. He was very professional again, making sure we saw and understood the repairs that needed to be made. He even made sure that we had a prompt follow-up appointment scheduled! It’s comforting to know that McAfee provides attentive, friendly, and competent technicians! The technician met my requested schedule and he was conscious of being tidy. He suggested other services that I might consider in the future (like cleaning the air ducts, etc.), asked me if I needed help changing the battery in the thermostat, and provided me with information about humidifiers. He actually remembered my previous service call because I purchased a CO2 detector then that was malfunctioning. All in all, McAfee has provided excellent service for my home throughout the years, no matter the reason or the season.

Our old furnace broke down in the middle of a cold spell. McAfee technician was sent promptly (same day). New furnace was installed within two days. Nick and Jason were steady, competent workers and respected our property. Within a few hours we had wonderful heated rooms. We trust this company to give us good advice and service.
Technician Jason arrived when scheduled. He was courteous. Performed the diagnosis and gave me all of our options without pressure. Had my air conditioning back on and working quickly.He also informed us of other services are recommended for our household due to the fact that we have a large amount of dogs. We appreciated the quick and friendly service he provided even though it was late at night.We look forward to doing business with McAfee Heating and Air again when we decide to upgrade and replace our older air conditioning system we will most definitely be giving them a call.
We had a problem with our return vent and I thought of McAfee almost immediately because I had heard good things about them. Called on a Friday afternoon and the pleasant lady answering helped us out and Troy and Zachary were here in about an hour .Very professional guys who were honest about fixing the vent gave us a quote and did great job. The guys from McAfee were wonderful to work with and they did a great job! We had a brand new furnace and AC unit installed earlier this month and everything went very smoothly. We had an air duct cleaning today (Brian and Joe were very thorough and also considerate of my sleeping toddlers) and we have an attic fan installation scheduled for later this month. Everyone was very professional and courteous. They’re prices are very competitive and the warranties are unmatched. I would definitely recommend McAfee to anyone!

The AC/furnace service techs are amazing at McAfee. They are very knowledgeable and can explain things accurately and clearly. We have the service plan with McAfee - they are always on top of scheduling our service and making sure we get priority when we call with urgent issues. Jason just finished checking our old AC system. He made our options clear when it came to explaining if we a) fix the old system or b) get a new one. But he left the choice to us - it was so nice to just hear all the options and not be pushed into buying anything. Thanks Jason! Im really glad we chose McAfee when we moved into our new home!
Decided to replace 17 year old heating/air system although still working efficiently thanks to McAfee’s Comfort Club membership. All the staff I encountered were professional, courteous & friendly. Comfort Advisor Andy was thorough in explaining all details of new system to be installed, technicians Cody & Jason made installation day stress-free, answering all my questions, and Cody made sure the system met my specific needs. Several days later Mike & Connor did excellent job of cleaning air ducts & dryer vent. McAfee is a very comfort oriented company!

I had my vents cleaned using their service. There was a little confusion on the time of arrival but they were very responsive when I called to confirm. Customer service is obviously important to this company. After calling around in the area, their price was the best and then I found a coupon on the website. The guys that came out, Mike and Cody, were experienced, friendly, and helpful during the entire process. They were even concerned with my cat getting out during the process. I knew that ducts in my newly purchased home were pretty bad since I would clean and then find dust and dog hair all around the vents. They showed me before and after pictures, which I appreciated. Im sure that my heat pump will need replaced before too long and Ill definitely be using McAfee, based on this experience.

Troy stopped by to do my Spring A/C service today. As always, he was friendly, professional, and efficient. He arrived exactly on time and went straight to work checking out my system. I was concerned that I might have lost some pressure in my A/C over the winter but, thankfully, it checked out just fine and he informed me that he reviewed the service record and that the problem was corrected at the last service, so all was well. I was happily surprised and it was nice not to have any unexpected repair costs. I’ve used McAfee for several years and i can’t say enough good things about them. I had them replace both my furnace and my A/C a few years ago and both have given me exceptional service. From the office staff to the service workers, they always provide fast, friendly and comprehensive service and I recommend them to all of my friends and neighbors. Keep up the great work!

McAfee installed a new H & A system for us last month, did a great job, showed up when they said they would, were very professional. Weve had our system for about 6 weeks now, havent ran the AC yet, but the furnace is keeping us nice and warm!A few weeks later, we also had McAfee clean out our ducts. We had recently purchased the 19 year old home, so since we now had the new heating & cooling system, we thought we would start out with clean ducts as well. Brian & Roe did a great job cleaning them, were also very professional and let me know what, how and why as they worked. Highly recommend!
We recently purchased and had installed a new furnace and air conditioner from McAfee. The installers (Michael Floyd and Cody) arrived on time and both were very courteous and professional as they went about their job. We were impressed by the fact that as the day went on various members of the McAfee team stopped by to either assist with the installation or oversee the work that was being done. Even Andy, our salesman, stopped by to say hello and check on things.
McAfee cleaned our ductwork today. I am pleasantly surprised how much the air quality in our home has improved in just a few hours after completion. Mike and Andrew were extremely friendly, courteous, professional, and thorough. They were also extremely kind to our boys by explaining and showing them what they were doing. We recently had both our furnace and air conditioner replaced by McAfee and we are really pleased with the professionalism and quality of work. We received a discounted price on air duct cleaning at the time of purchasing our furnace and air conditioner. Andrew and Dakota came out this week to complete the air duct cleaning and were friendly and professional. They were super quick as well. Great company, will continue to use them.
Just had Troy Dobbs out to do my McAfee Club service. The service was TOP NOTCH from start to finish. I got a text 15 minutes before he arrived. That gave me time to make sure he could easily access the areas he needed. He arrive 5 minutes before the scheduled window time! He greeted me with his and the company name (although I could easily see the good looking McAfee van in my driveway!). He put on his shoe covers on and went right to work! He worked efficiently and let me know what he was doing when he walked through the room I was in. He even informed me that my thermostat batteries might need to be replaced if I hadnt done so in a year. When he was finished the gave me a complete analysis of his work and my heating and cooling units. He told me where I can get filters and even pointed me to where I could get a discount code to get filters! He never tried to force a sale of anything. Troy was a very, very good McAfee technician. If he is a reflection of what McAfee represents then I will continue to give my business to them and I encourage you to do the same.
I had a great experience with Mike and Andrew who came to work on my air conditioning. They were very respectful, thorough, and made sure to protect my floors and walls while carrying their equipment into my house. They cleaned all of the ductwork and installed a whole house air purifier. I am very pleased with their work and I signed up to have them come and do regular check ups on my system.Had another visit today by Nathan for the comfort club and was very happy with his professionalism and attention to detail!
We had Mike and Connor of McAfee come out to clean our air ducts and dryer vent for the whole house.McAfee was great about calling me when someone cancelled to get us in 2 months before we were scheduled. Mike and Connor showed up right on time and did an excellent job.All of our registers and cold air returns were spotless afterward, and they were very helpful with suggesting an installing a whole house air purifier while here. Mike took the time to show me how my HVAC system with whole house humidifier operated since we had just moved into the house.McAfee lived up to the expectation of being the best around for quality and professionalism. I couldn’t recommend them more if you need your ducts cleaned out or a new system.
Nick and Josiah installed our new system today. They were very friendly and professional. Their work is excellent and, a bonus, they left the area cleaner than they found it! We had several estimates and McAfee definitely offered the best system and options for the price.
Had a complete new heating and air system installed this week. Michael and Tyler were very professional from start to finish. They took great care to make sure the system was installed perfectly and along the way were very friendly and answered all of my questions with ease. Near the end of the installation, their manager, Chris, arrived to inspect the job and make sure that we knew how to use the system before they finished for the day. He was also very thorough and friendly. I would highly recommend McAfee to anyone needing heating and air services! And I hope Michael and Tyler remain a team - they work great together!
My experience with my Technician was great, he was courteous and professional. Taking time to explain my problem, offered to me alternative before I myself decide. He is provided technical advices to me. The most important thing for me, he is a believer of God.Today on April 23, 2021; two great professionals, Mike and Jason came for an air duct cleaning into our home. I do not recommend this company whatsoever. They were at my house for less than 10 minutes upon arrival and refuse to leave an estimate due to the fact that we had an appointment later on in the day with another company for another quote. Also the fact that both my husband and I were not present they would not leave a quote with just my husband. The salesman stated that they are extremely expensive and if we are shoppingaround then this is not the company that we would want to go with. I spoke with him on the phone about how I was not happy that he wasted not only his time but my husbands time by not providing an estimate. He was extremely rude and not professional. I called the office to speak with his manager to let her know how disappointed and unbelievably blown away I was by his unprofessionalism and disrespect that he had with me and my husband and did not satisfy my needs as a customer looking for a new business to install hour heating and air units. I was told she was too busy to speak to me and she would call me back and have yet to hear back from her. I have never experienced this kind of customer service from any business before and I am in shock for the way that they handled this. I would say to keep looking do not even give this company the time of day to be treated at such a level especially for how expensive and the amount of money that you would be handing them!
Jason James was here this evening to do the annual air conditioner check up. He checked with me if he could arrive earlier than the scheduled service window. This worked out better for me.He wore his work booties into the house taking care not to mess anything up. He is pet friendly. Jason was very considerate of me as a customer which is a treat this day and age. He is quick, efficient, and knowledgeable about the residential HVAC business. Jason changed out the furnace filter with a smile and ask if I had anymore questions or concerns. He then gave me the info off the filters to be ordered to cut down confusion. When all was said and done, he shook my hand and told me how he appreciated my business.I closed my door confidently knowing I am ready for the summer to come. McAfee thank you for valuing your employees where they can dedicate their effort to a job well done.
My furnace had been acting up for weeks off and on, my husband works out of town and is only home on weekends. I was frantic when my heat stopped working on a Friday on one of the coldest day of the year. I called around and only got people telling me they couldnt come for a week, and would not accommodate my needs at all. I called McAfee (which I should have called first) and the customer service dept was extremely understanding of my circumstance that I would need someone out on a Saturday of after 4 Friday so my husband could be home. They gladly got me on the schedule the same day, and I signed up for the Comfort Club, not because it sounded like a great program, but because I was so appreciative of them seeing me that night. Josh was the technician that came out, and he was extremely kind and very knowledgeable. He was able to find the problem quickly and fix my issue the same night, which was a very simple fix. I now have heat, and my family and I are thrilled with the service we received all around. I will always recommend McAfee to everyone. I feel this company is very honest, and can be trusted.
Mike and Andrew cleaned our ductwork and did an outstanding job. They were very professional and went about their work in an efficient manner. They showed us before and after pictures of our cold air returns and wow what a difference. They also found and removed some dead mice from our ducts! In October, after meeting the sales rep, Andy, we selected McAfee to install our heating and cooling system and have been extremely pleased with the choice we made. Andy was able to answer all of our questions and concerns about finding the right HVAC system. The installers, Tyler and Nick, were very knowledgeable, professional and polite. They took the time to explain the new wi-fi thermostat that was installed and even offered to come back if we had questions. Several weeks later we had our ducts cleaned by Mike and Connor who were also very polite and professional. They took great care and time in making sure all of our ducts were clean. They also made recommendations about how often we should have our ducts cleaned. If all of McAfees employees are this polite and professional we anticipate no problems when we see the maintenance reps that will come twice a year (we purchased the Omega plan) to service our unit. Robert did an excellent job. Very knowledgeable and went beyond the bare minimum fix. He checked each different part and system of my AC to ensure there werent any other underlying problems. I would use McAfee again especially since they were able to see me the same day as I called for the repair.
Today we had a problem with our furnace not putting out heat. Our serviceman got here much earlier than we were told which was fantastic. After going through the furnace he found the flame sensor covered with soot, he checked the records of all the repairs of the flame sensor problem and communicated there had to be a problem elsewhere to cause so many flame sensors needing to be cleaned or repaired so often. The serviceman then went to the thermostat and noticed that the thermostat was only for a one stage furnace and communicated we had a two stage furnace and that by replacing the thermostat our furnace should function as intended to work and he believes that we won’t have the flame sensor problems we’ve been having since 2010. He gave me a great deal to replace the thermostat and as soon as he did replace it, the fan was indeed louder as he said it would be and the heat came quickly. As of today, Feb 28, 2019 our furnace purrs and that makes us very pleased with the technician. He was early, friendly and very informative of the steps need to bring our furnace to its top performance. We’re again very pleased with him. It’s so nice to have someone who communicates and does the job he said he could do! Thank you to our service technician and McAfee for having a great employee! 😊

Very good experience. McAfee sent advance notices to remind me of the appointment. On the day of the appointment, the techs called in advance to let me know they were on the way. Mike and Andrew were very courteous and considerate. they did a good job explaining the process and about how long it would take. Even showed me some before/after pictures of the return ducts. BTW, McAfee installed a new furnace and AC back in December which are working well. Good experience then too.

My A/C went out last night and was blowing hot air. I called first thing this morning. A happy voice picked up the phone and scheduled my appointment for later in the day. Perfect! Ended up getting a call about an hour later cause another appointment dropped so I was able to get service sooner. That was great to hear! Jason called to let me know he was on the way and did an absolutely fantastic job! Walked me through everything ensuring I knew what he was doing. He has great people skills and great customer service which, sadly, is something you don’t see these days. He had me up and running and actually cooking my house a few degrees cooler than before! Josh was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable and friendly. I called McAfee after another local company said it would be 3-5 days before they could get a part in stock. I guess I was just to freeze until then as they offered no other solutions. My next call was to McAfee and not only did they have the part available their pricing was a third of the other company. I have made the switch to McAffee after being a 5 year loyal customer at the other place and could not be more thrilled!
Just had my air ducts and registers cleaned by McAfee. They as always did a excellent job and provided professional and courteous work. Mike and Connor took the time to explain the cleaning process. On this record breaking coldest day of the year, and with the heater off and the side door open. They worked fast yet still did a very thorough job. They kept me informed of their progress and up to date of their time of completion. Even though my house was in the process of being under construction from a major plumbing job. They still took care in putting on boot protectors to keep my carpet from being soiled even though my grandkids has stained every inch of the carpet. The little things like that is one of the many reasons I will always have my heating and air condition work done by McAfee

We are members of the McAfee Comfort club so when our heat went out we utilized our membership and called for service. The repairman and salesman came out the next day. We chose to replace vs repair a 22 yr old system. We were able to upgrade to a high efficiency hybrid system with a heat pump and air purifier for $3000 less than the other online quotes. The service technicians were right on time, very courteous and professional. Michael is obviously an expert in his field and believes in the products. Both he and Ken were friendly and patient with our many questions. It’s such a relief to know the pros are only a phone call away when we need them.

Great business to use. They’re always punctual, professional, honest, and they use technology to keep records straight. McAfee sends texts to remind of upcoming appointments, calls months out to schedule bi-yearly maintenance. When technicians are servicing the units, the technicians always clean, friendly and professional. One tech (Jason) discussed adding a humidifier and air purifier to my unit; he was upfront about the cost of each but discussed the benefits of having them. He also discussed different payment options since those items are pricey. I never felt like he was “pushy” or trying to sell me something I didn’t need. I appreciated that.
There are a few things you will appreciate with McAfee Heating and Air besides just having your A/C fixed on a hot day. McAfee employees answer the phones and they know where their techs are so they can re-route and schedule to get you serviced ASAP. I like that I McAfee will give you a window of when the tech will arrive even if its after 5 p.m., which isnt considered after-hours. Their techs are experienced, knowledgeable, friendly and professionally dressed. I appreciate that the techs get right to resolving your concerns and dont try to run-up the clock. They are also mindful of keeping your house clean and cleaning up after they perform service.

Our heat went out on a Saturday in the late morning. I had never used McAfee before, but immediately decided to call them because of the commercials and the “Breath of Fresh Air” commentaries by the owner that I’d heard on WHIO radio. I knew he valued a strong work ethic, doing right by his fellow man, had a love of country and was a Christian.I was treated with friendliness and respect from the moment I called and spoke to the customer service rep (unfortunately, I forgot his name). He quoted me prices and let me know about available plans and discounts for emergency service. He also gave me the best estimate he could on how long it would be before someone could come. He didn’t make false promises on time, but gave me a reasonable expectation for how long it would be.After a very reasonable time I received a call from Jason, the technician, to say he was on his way.When he arrived, he was friendly, but quickly got to work to find the problem. He diagnosed the issue and helped to advise us on what could be done for immediate service without breaking the bank, as well as what should be done to bring our system to optimal condition. He was not pushy, but laid out all the options and left it to us to decide what worked best for us. He made the repairs, double-checked to be sure all was working well, and told us to give them a call if any other issues came up. Jason was a great representation for the company and exactly what I would have expected from my perception of the owner’s philosophy. I would highly recommend Jason and McAfee and will do so in the future whenever I get a chance. On a scale of 1-10, they are an 11! Thanks guys!! We’re now happy in our toasty warm home, thanks to your help.
McAfee Heating & Air Mike?Connor came out last week to clean my air ducts & vents. I missed counted so when Mike recounted the price changed. He gave me the option to have the job down for more $ or to leave. It was my fault so I had them stay & do the job. They were here for over 5 hours but my vents had not been cleaned since 1983! They did a superior job, kept me informed and cleaned up afterwards. It was a very hot day but they worked very hard. I would recommend this team to do a great job!
Today our AC went out suddenly. We are customers of Logan Heating and Air and they couldnt come out till Friday!! Thanks to all the radio commercials I remembered McAfee! Called them up and with in less than 30 mins had someone out here and fixed our issues all in less than an hour. And on top of that their service fee was cheaper than Logan!!! Troy was our technician and was professional and efficient! He was also gracious enough to explain everything to my hubs who is out of town for work. All in all a terrific experience!!!! Will HIGHLY recommend to many others!! Thanks again!
Jason, a McAfee technician, stopped by to do a yearly inspection. He was very knowledgeable and informative. He seemed to really care about his job and went out of his way to make sure everything was in good condition. He checked all the systems thoroughly and ran multiple tests. He informed me about an entire house humidifier and it sounded like a great addition. I plan to look into it. I had a great experience.
Antonio has been my service technician for the last couple of appointments. He is always on-time, very friendly and polite. Ashlee, the customer service representative, is very efficient and helpful with scheduling. I appreciate the text, email, and phone call appointment updates prior to Antonio’s arrival. Our thermostat was showing an error that was locking out our cooling just as the temperature was turning hot. McAfee had Charles out within a couple of hours (fortunately he was already scheduled to be in the area) and he got things fixed very quickly. We are always impressed with the customer service and friendliness of their service staff, both on the phone and at the house.
Mike and Andrew cleaned our house vent system today so we could move in and breathe easy! We had an excellent experience. August 2014 - My mom had McAfee install a new heating unit and I was so impressed with each level of the process. Excellent installation. They arrived promptly. They worked all day without a break. They did an amazing job.They explained the process and answered all questions and explained monthly maintenance thoroughly . From the initial appointment each level was outstanding.--The Sales Rep: Andy-very thorough very patient explaining each step to my mom.--The installers-explained thoroughly each piece and monthly maintenance--Because the above experience was so wonderful I went with McAfee!!!!so on14 January 2015- Today McAfee installed a new heating unit and I have nothing but good things to say about this company. What i noticed about both installs is that McAfee must have a outstanding training program because each level of both installs was outstanding! !!! McAfee again has provided excellent service top to bottom. From calling and setting up my appt. with Ashley, to arranging for my filters to be brought to my service appt, to Troy who was my service agent. The entire experience went smoothly. Troy is top notch and had been to my home before and provided friendly efficient service each time. We are pleased with our McAfee furnace, purchased in April 2018, as it functioned flawlessly this winter and provided great comfort during what was a pretty rugged winter here in the Dayton area. Our McAfee AC was serviced today on our Silver Comfort Club program which has been a great addition, and the AC is ready for the rigors of another warm summer. I set up an appointment to get my air ducts/dryer vent cleaned. It was going to be about a month because they had so many appointments already set up before the extreme winter temperatures hit. Luckily, I got a phone call asking if I wanted to have my appointment moved up due to a cancellation. While I had just gotten to work, they were willing to work with me so that I could make it home and they would be there shortly afterward. The McAfee reps taking care of everything were Brian and Roe. They did a very good job taking everything except for one thing. The reason I am giving a four vs. a five is that while the schedule change was a spur of the moment, when they came in and asked if my dryer was steam capable (so a water line was connected), they didnt want to be liable to remove any of the cables/connections to the dryer (because they had a situation where they attempted to remove the water connection and it caused flooding), so the dryer vent did not get cleaned. I would maybe suggest to McAfee that if people have dryers with steam to ask their customers first so they know that everything should be disconnected by the customer. As a side note, if you didnt already know, McAfee cannot just clean dryer vents. You must already have air duct cleaning scheduled in order to get your dryer vents cleaned. They cannot be done separately. Otherwise, the service was great! I would recommend them to others.
McAfee has always been great to me, very reasonably priced, and the technicians have always been knowledgeable and charismatic. One technician actually said God Bless after servicing my AC. Definitely made me feel comfortable, he didnt try to upsale me, it made me proud to be one of their customers. I will be using them for as long as I can.
This is the second time I’ve used McAfee! At an old house we owned we had the furnace replaced, and the service was so great! When we had an HVAC need at our new house I did not hesitate to call McAfee. James was our technician today and he was friendly and knowledgeable! Our air went out and we called a local company that advertised that there was nothing that could stop a Trane although they refused to service us. So we decided to call McAfee, they arrived in less than 3 hours and fixed the unit. After that initial consultation, we made the decision to purchase a new unit. The salesman came out and took the time to answer all of our questions and was very knowledgeable (thanks Andy). On the day of the installation, we receive a text, and a phone call indicating when the crew would be arriving. They arrived on time as promised.. Mike F. was above excellent and worked his butt off all day!!!! He took the time to answer every and all questions we had about the unit,. He is an awesome, professional and we could not be more pleased in the service he provided!!!!! The unit functions as promised and we are loyal customers for life!!! Dont call anyone else but McAfee, you wont be disappointed! Ask for Mike to be your installer, he is the best at what he does!!!!!
McAfee has been terrific every time Ive called or had a service call, and this tune-up/check-up on my heat pump was no exception! Jason was fabulous, arrived within the schedule appointment window, and called to tell me he was on his way. I absolutely recommend McAfee - the company and people are five star. Thank you! Called for service after lunch, and was told my tech would arrive same day between 6-8, and they were on time, and called prior to arrival to verify. My techs name was Josh and he did a great job - found out what was wrong and fixed it on the spot. He also did a great job of answering some questions I had about my heat pump, explaining things in a way I could understand. Every single tech from McAfee who has performed routine or unscheduled maintenance on our unit has been courteous, knowledgeable, and consistent - these guys are trained to a professional standard and follow it. This is a great company to do business with.
McAfee is the Bomb! Our furnace went out just after Christmas. I knew I wanted McAfee to do the work, even though I had never used them previously. Greg McAfee is true American, a veteran and and a man of integrity.I called McAfee and no one else. They sent out someone within hours. I told them I didnt want the old furnace fixed; I wanted a whole new system. I had already picked out the unit I thought I needed, but the sales person suggested one a little cheaper. I said great, lets do it. Unfortunately, they could not install for several days, which was okay because we had a fireplace. They called back later and said they were able to juggle the schedule and so the install earlier.They arrived on time, worked none stop, in the bitter cold, and had the new furnace and heat pump installed in about 5-hours. I then decided I wanted to have them clean the all the ducts. They scheduled the appointment.Thanks to Greg McAfee and his entire team the installation and duct cleaning was completed by true professionals.

Big thank you to James for coming out on his Sunday to fix our AC on this VERY hot July day. Our AC started to fail (i.e. house temps rose) yesterday evening and we called McAfee this morning around 8:30am. A couple hours later, I got a call from James and he was here and had our AC fixed by noon. The issue was an old and failing capacitor, which Id been warned about during the spring maintenance visit. Now the house is cool once again.Note that Ive been a McAfee customer since they were a small outfit here in Beavercreek. Ive seen them grow in our community quite a bit over the years, a testament to their business model. If I had to sum it up, they are all about customer service. Ive never had a problem with any technician theyve sent over the years, and that includes one new AC system (2011) and a new furnace (2015). They have always been VERY professional and VERY competent in all my interactions with the company.Thank you McAfee for being an exemplary business in our community.

James A. came out to my house and checked my furnace out the end of September. The furnace was fine, but he noted that there a problem with the ventilation and found insulation on the filter. I asked if he could check it out, but that he would have to go in the crawl space above the living areas. He did and found that most of the vents were disconnected and that some newer parts were required. He checked on a price to do the repairs and when I agreed on the repair work he got me an appointment for a later date to do the repairs. He even made sure that I received filters. James was very professional, had a through knowledge of all my systems, showed up right on time and did an outstanding repair job. I could not have received better service from anyone. I would definitely recommend McAfee to anyone who needed Air Conditioning, Heating, or any type of plumbing work.Ken Meikle

Weve been extremely impressed with the McAfee team. From the first visit by Nick, to Andy sitting down with us to pick-out the right system for our home, to the install team, everybody has been professional, courteous and extremely helpful. In just the two short weeks since install of our new HVAC system, weve seen a noticeable difference in efficiency in keeping the house warm, at a lower thermostat setting, and the furnace running not as often as the one we replaced. We did have an issue with a fitting on the gas line to the furnace leaking slightly, that took two visits and a eventually a replacement fitting having to be installed but both technicians that worked on it (Seth, and then Chris) took good care of us and they got to us quickly... much appreciated. No leaks since the fitting was replaced and we really couldnt be happier. Thanks to the ladies in the office also, who are always very helpful when you call.

From Andy Rath who walked us through our new heating and air purchase and financing options, to Michael Floyd and Cody D. with the installation, setup, and walkthrough of our new furnace and air, I couldnt be happier. Michael and Cody even returned a lost gift card that was underneath the old furnace that I would have had no idea about! Needless to say, they were professional, efficient, and trustworthy. McAfee recently did a furnace inspection for my sons property and I met the technician at the home. He put on his booties so as not to get the carpet dirty and was very polite and efficient. I was also very impressed with Chris Grashel when I spoke with him over the phone. He was very courteous and helpful. We spoke on the phone as well as by e-mail. He is outstanding! Followed through promptly on everything we discussed. I would recommend this company.
Weve been using McAfee for the past several years and they are always great. I had a furnace problem and called at 8am...they had a tech out to me by 10:30. The tech, Troy, was polite and friendly and had things fixed quickly. He took the time to explain the problem and what he did to fix it. it. Best service around!
Our home had never had duct cleaning performed. I Scheduled an appointment through Ashley. She was very informative and friendly. Our cleaning took place today 3/2/2019. Our service providers were Mike and Dakota. They were highly professional, informative, and dedicated workers. We are very pleased with the finished product. All of our vents and returns were cleaned in a timely fashion and for a reasonable price. I want to thank you for a fantastic job!!! They all deserve free lunches and a raise!!!
I have dealt with several heating and air companies over the years and I have to be honest in telling you that McAfee is definitely number one in my book. Just had my ducts cleaned by McAfee Heating & Air.Mike and Andrew did a terrific job. They took the time to explain everything they were doing, plus cleaned everything up after they were done. They even showed us before and after pictures of all the dirt & dust in our return air ducts! With this experience with McAfee, we’ll be having all our heating and air conditioning service done by them!
Jason from McAfee Heating and Air Conditioning came out to do our 6 month inspection. He was friendly and explained everything he needed to do. He also asked if I had any questions or concerns. He caught an issue with our furnace and explained preventative maintenance and the repair that will need to be done. Overall I was very pleased with the service we received today. We will continue to use McAfee for our furnace and AC.
Mike K and Connor came to our house to clean out our vents and ducts! They did an amazing job! I can already tell a difference on how well our heat is coming out of the vents now! I even had a vent that wasn’t working very well, Mike took the extra time to check it out! We are first time home owners, Mike answered all of our questions and went out of his way to educate us on how often to change our filters, reasons for dust build up, etc! Both men were very kind and professional! Would definitely recommend their services to anyone needing their vents cleaned! Great experience!
Very happy with my experience with McAfee. Replacement of the original central heat and air was accomplish quickly and the experience was comfortable.Installation crew of Nick, Mike, and Ken took care of everything and left a system that was working perfectly. They took the time to explain my new ecobee thermostat and made the entire experience painless. Except for the cost of course.
The noise our furnace was making to prompt the service call did not happen while James was on site. He did a few diagnostics and explained what he thought could be the source. He offered several service options as well as their Protection Plan to safeguard us from the cost of future repair. James also discussed CO detectors as he noticed we use gas logs in the fireplace. Great service, excellent ethics, and very helpful. I highly recommend this company. Also, thank you McAffee for supporting and advertising your business on Christian radio stations.

The installers were professional all the way. I have had two different systems installed by the this company. The work has always been completed timely and accurately. I am a member of the comfort club and have my furnace and a/c checked every spring and fall. Every employee who has entered my home has been courteous and informative. We have been using McAfee for many years. The technicians are always very friendly and knowledgeable. They will answer any questions we have and are very patient and thorough when explaining and guiding us through new equipment we have had installed. The one thing I appreciate, being a female, is the courtesy of covering their shoes before entering our home. The staff is also friendly when calling to set up or remind us of our appointment time.
4th time we have used McAfee for different things and come back every single time! From cleaning air ducts in an abandoned foreclosure to rerouting ductwork for a remodel and cleaning the ducts 5 years later once the whole home renovation was completed. Then we had a furnace go out and McAfee came out and recommended the appropriate size unit based on our needs, installed it the next day and charged us a fair price AND gave a military discount. from the receptionist to the installers I have not been disappointed one time. I am very happy with our new heat pump, it is awesome to have cooling again. Jason and Tyler were very pleasant and professional with the install. The new system install was very neatly done, these two guys know their stuff. I was very impressed with the looks of the installed unit. The unit itself is working great, quiet and efficient a pleasure to have. My old unit was nearly 20 years old and finally faded out. The new unit has the variable speed motor which keeps the house comfortable through out the house. No cold or warm spots, just even temps through out. I am really glad that I went with McAfee, their parts and labor warranty was a big selling point. I had estimates from three other companies, but very happy with McAfee. Not the lowest price, but the best unit in my opinion. Thanks for the great service.

We purchased a new furnace from McAfee two days after Christmas in 2016. Since then we’ve been on the comfort care program. McAffe has been great to work with & your service technicians are very competent. But there is one technician, Josh, who is excellent. We are two engineers and he handled my many questions easily, was very respectful, seemed to really like his job and was very very smart. I would recommend McAfee to anyone looking for a new provider because good customer service is hard to find; great customer service is even harder to find but excellent customer service is a unicorn these days. Yes Josh you are a unicorn.
Mike and Dakota cleaned our air ducts this past weekend and did a great job. They called to give us a 30 minute heads up and arrived well within the expected time window we booked the appt for. They wore shoe covers the entire time they were in our house and were aware of the tubing they had in the house to ensure it didn’t damage anything. At the end of the cleaning, Mike showed us a before and after picture which was impressive. We’d recommend McAfee for duct cleaning for sure.
Michael F. and his co-worker did an outstanding job! The job was not easy one, and Michael was able to make it happen. He exceeded what was originally proposed by the McAfee salesman. This was my first time using with McAfee for a complete install, and I am very glad I went with them. Plus, their prices are very competitive too.
We needed a new heat pump and air exchanger and were very happy with the service we received from McAfee. The installers, Jason and John, arrived on time and spent the whole day working on our job. They were friendly, courteous, and went out of their way to get the job done and they cleaned up after completing the job. They had to work out in the cold and were very efficient. The repairman who gave us the bad news about our old heat pump was also prompt, courteous and very professional. We were able to see the sales person within two hours of finding out we needed new equipment and he was also friendly and professional. Even though we were without heat on a cold day, we were very satisfied with the service provided by McAfee.

Spring Check UpWe had our spring check up today with Jason. He was very courteous and professional. He was a great pleasure to work with, the cats even greeted him.He was in and out in no time and did an exceptional job.McAfee is such and awesome company.Thank you so much
AC circuit breaker was tripped and my safety disconnect burnt. Called them in the late afternoon and was given an appt for the next morning.Troy showed up shortly after giving me a call he was on his way. He confirmed the issue with the safety disconnect and went to work repair after providing what the cost is. The diagnostics and repair took roughly a hour and half. Troy was friendly and answered my question throughly.Was offered their Care Family plan for $20 which also provides a discount on the current and future repairs as well as them coming out twice a year to tune up the AC and furnace. I bought the plan to stay on top of maintenance. If I don’t find any value in the plan then I’ll call to cancel it.
I can’t stress enough how great this company is. Everyone at this company is friendly and professional, wether on the phone or in person. They call you to remind you when your service is due and schedule it for you. They notify what technician is coming to your home and when they are on their way. My technician Jason was very nice and professional. He took the time to explain things to me and what service was needed. I will never use another company. McAfee is the BEST!!!!!!
Weve been using McAfee since the 90s. They nursed along our old unit for years (thanks Chris!) and guided us through replacing it and adding split units upstairs which really help our 1938 home. We wholeheartedly recommend McAfee! Nick was just here for annual AC inspection and did a great job.
When my furnace started acting up recently I called McAfee to check it out. The technician who came out got our heat back on in short order and gave us some good info for moving forward. We decided to replace the furnace due to its age and our peace of mind. We had great communication with the office folks, the salesman who gave us a quote and the technicians who replaced the furnace did a great job. Today we had them back to clean the ductwork and once again the job was done quickly and the guys on the job were great. Appointments and confirmation reminder calls were all handled efficiently and all concerned were very friendly and helpful.
I couldn’t be happier with the service call today. Angela did a great job setting up my service appointment, and Robert did a very thorough inspection and diagnostic work today. Next I met Andy who worked up a very fair quote and helped me put a plan of action in place that gives me complete peace of mind with the McAfee name and full warranty behind it. Explained every detail to me and ensured I understood everything including pricing! They were very friendly! It was a great experience and I will use McAfee again! Superb customer service!!
Michael and Nick were on time, polite, experienced, and went above and beyond with install. They made sure to have shoe covers on when in the house and put down blankets for their walking path to protect carpet - this was so nice! After the new unit was installed, Michael talked me through all the features on touch pad and overview of the unit (filter replacement, maintenance, etc) which was so helpful as my husband was unable to be home while install took place. I also got to witness some teaching moments between Michael and Nick. Michael was patient and a great coach/mentor to Nick. All in all a great experience!
Jason was at the front end of predicted show time, listened to my perspective, assessed the system and completed repairs on the spot from parts supply on hand. At length, we discussed options on repair versus replacement and he willingly went with my choice. As result, I signed up for McAfee Platinum program. This is my first experience with McAfee
We have been customers of McAfee Heating and Air Conditioning for over 30 years. We are also Comfort Club members and just had our spring check up. We had asked about an unusual noise and it appears our 14 year old system needs a repair that could probably be the first of many. The visit by the technician was excellent as always. McAfees service reps are always friendly, are careful not to track the outside into the house, and provide great service. We were able to get an appointment a few hours later to explain our options if we choose to replace the old unit or repair the part. We chose to get a new furnace and will have it installed tomorrow. 2022-07-14I work at The Ark Church as the Admin Assistant and we had McAfee out to install a new A/C unit today. This was our second time receiving HVAC service from this company and they were very kind and professional both times. They even had to disassemble the cage we had around our previous unit and they had no qualms or complaints and worked with us to get everything taken care of. I’m very thankful they were able to come out so quickly during peak season and help our church so we can have cool air for our next service. I highly recommend McAfee to anyone looking for an HVAC expert in the Dayton area.

2022-08-13I have been a loyal customer for 17 years. Across the board, McAfee’s customer service is exceptional! The Service Technician was out on Friday afternoon for a diagnostic call. The result was that it was now time for a new system. Drew was able to set up a next day installation of an electric heat pump/AC and air handler system. Steven L. and Mike F. arrived promptly Saturday morning to begin the installation process. Both were professional, courteous and fully explained everything to my complete satisfaction. They had the new system in place and operational in less than 8 hours! Steven did a great job explaining how to program the new smart thermostat. I have complete peace of mind using a company that provides the highest level of customer service and expertly trained technicians. Thank you to the entire McAfee Team!!

2022-07-06Lance Moore came to my home for a routine air conditioner check. When he arrived I was in the midst of dealing with an attempt to hack my personal home computer. Without going into too much detail, Lance overheard part of my conversation and quickly knew that the attempt to convince me I had a virus...was indeed a scam. I thought it was for real, but it was in fact a scam. He was a great help to me, and I really appreciated him and his ability to identify the scam. He is a very personable and knowledgeable employee; explained and answered all my HVAC questions as well as helped me sort out the computer problem.

2022-07-06My son had a new top of the line system installed by Greg McAfee’s team all in one day, they were fast and efficient, cleaning up after themselves.The system is an electric furnace/air with heat pump and digital thermostat, heating was quiet and way more efficient than my older unit, the air conditioning is very quiet and will freeze you out of the house, I waited to give a review because I wanted to experience both winter and summer conditions, they also cleaned out my air ducts and with this package we got a life time warranty, no more worry’s.GREAT JOB GREG AND TEAM.

2022-06-30Jason James was my technician, did a great checkup and ac work.6/29/2022 - Ken and Jason installed a new furnace, AC, and digital smart thermostat. They were very professional, and explained every step and all the changes that I might or might not notice. They made sure that I felt comfortable with every aspect of my new system before they left and stressed that I could call with any question at all.

2022-08-10Were happy to report that there are still companies out there that perform their objectives with skill and effectiveness. McAfee Heating and Air Conditioning is among those that are trustworthy enough to occupy a space on that list. Mike and Andrew did a great job cleaning our ductwork and dryer vent: beginning with a courtesy call confirming their arrival time, a detailed explanation upon their arrival of work-related activity, and careful cleanup which is always appreciated. We also use McAfee for maintenance on our heating and air conditioning units and have always appreciated their service and expertise. Without hesitation we recommend McAfee for your heating, air conditioning, ductwork, and vent maintenance needs.
