The entire staff here is very nice. The chicken parm sub is the best I’ve ever had. Definitely worth checking this place out.
I have been going here since they came to Mentor. They have my favorite provolone brand. They have the best cannolis. I love their pizza. It has the right amount of cheese and toppings. I cant say enough good about this place. Everyone is sweet and pleasant.

We love Maxims! We love in Mansfield but have family in Mentor, so every time we come to visit one of our first stop is to Maxims. Family run and the staff are all friendly and helpful. Love all the extra little touches that make it so special. I always take home pepperoni and sharp provolone cheese. Would highly recommend it.
I love their pizza. Its absolutely delicious, and it brings back great memories from my childhood when they were on E. 185th street. I live an hour away, but still make sure to work their pizza into my schedule 10-12 times per year.
Awesome old school italian pizza and food served up by an awesome family!! You will not be disappointed with anything you get here. Family owned for many years, originally on 185th in Euclid, still using original recipes. You get a lot of food with the dinners. Take out or eat in. Their rock sandwich is great, Italian sausage patty between 2 pieces of their cheese pizza. Fresh antipasti and cheeses, You can take some meatballs and sauce home from the freezer, along w tripe, Italian ice... State minimum on beer and wine. Their catering is awesome too! Highly recommend!
Without a doubt, some of the best pizza and wings I have had in the area. I have tried many places since moving here and finally have one that I intend to go back to.
What they sell as slices are not slices they are tiny square pizzas that tastes like their frozen out of a box. Never again!

The pizza is amazing here. Definitely the star if the show, if you are lucky to get it fresh out of the oven it is soooooo good. Love this place.
Hate to say it because the owners seem nice, but the food isnt good. At all. I was referred here by a local barber so I tried a pizza and sub. Both were far below my lowest expectations. Pizza by the slice looked 2 days old, so I ordered a fresh pizza and was given half of an old pizza or someone elses pizza bc 50% of my pizza was missing crust and dried out on the ends. Dough was clearly old. Pizza has a 90% margin, dont try to squeeze an extra 5. If I pay you $10 for a small pizza, give me my own pizza, not some makeshift pizza. Sub was just as bad.
Amazing food! Got pizza and wings because of the reviews and I was not disappointed! Will definitely be back. Not sure what to try next.

We utilize Maxims exclusively for catering at our Training Center in the Matchworks building in Mentor. Their service is exceptional, food is alway delivered on time and all of students think the lunch we serve is one of the best parts of training! Thank you Gene and Angela!

2022-04-13Only recently found Maxims even though Ive lived in the area for many years. It has become one of my favorite places for pizza. I especially like their thick crispy crust and pizza sauce and usually order the deluxe. I also prefer to eat in the small eating area so I can eat it piping hot right out of the oven. Ill usually get a couple pieces of baklava for dessert. The staff is always very friendly and accomodating.

2021-12-28So I ordered large thin crust and I received medium box half of the sheet Pizza were slices were stacked on top of each other. Gross Pizza. Probably worst in my life. The spaghetti and meal bars I ordered was a decent size with one single meatball on top. Salad was super super small I dont typically complain but the food was just awful most of it was just thrown away.

2021-12-16BEST pizza ever !! Cant say enough about how good this pizza is...Sausage was just the way I like it...sauce is excellent...lots of cheese ...tastey crust cooked to perfection...this large pizza was huge !! Great value!! & very nice people !!...cant wait to try more off their extensive menu..Nice little store with a deli & lots of homemade pastries,soup, sauce and more..So glad I found it.

2022-01-01We just placed one of the many catering/carry out orders from Maxim’s for our family. My in-laws had requested Maxims to celebrate the new year! The roast beef au jus has been and always will be the best in Cleveland hands down! We paired that up with Cavatelli and that fresh Romano cheese. Try it sometime and taste it yourself!I have been fortunate to experience Maxim’s food my entire life, making the trip to the store to visit my uncle, and grab that fresh piece of pizza with my dad.Today, I still make that trip from Northfield to Mentor to experience the same quality of food, and friendly service that I had 40 years ago! It puts a smile on my face when my wife and kids now get the urge to drive out and get delicious food and experience the same thing I did. We are proud of our cousins today for working so hard to keep this family owned small business running everyday! Uncle and dad would be proud!

2021-06-13Ordered a Large pizza( which was build your own) toppings were pricey. Had heard from a far Westsider that this pizza was worth the drive. First off, I was expecting a pie shaped pizza. Wrong I got 6 squares and 2 more wrapped in wax paper on top of the 6 pieces. Their pizza really was a disappointment. It kind of reminded me of the pizza I liked in grade school. Not very appealing as an adult.

2021-03-05My family and I went in a pizza quest and tried many pizzas around lake county. They were all good but one stood out from the rest, Maxims. It was the best in tast quality and value. The staff is kind and courteous and the pizza won us over. This is now our pizza place. Try it!!🍕❤️👍

2020-10-12If you love pizza, wherever you are getting it is inferior to Maxims! Real Italian pizza owned by the same family since the late 40s. A girl friend brought over a couple of slices (spinach/ olives and an artichoke slice- both olive oil base) & they were fantastic! Great crust! Authentic tasting! She has been going to Maxims since childhood! Why did I not know about this hidden treasure? It is 5 min from my house, Ive driven past it hundreds of times but just never noticed it. I have been there 3x in 3 weeks for different items; to try different items. Every item was fabulous! Pricing is the same as every other pizza place (not Dominos or Pizza hut because they dont make real, authentic food!). I have been going to P & P but never super happy about them; new ownership is a big step down from original owners!Try Maxims. I will not go anywhere else again!Happy Tasting!
