He illegally evicts you doesnt give you any notice decides to go out and throw your stuff away and steal what he thinks is valuable and it throws everything else and destroys it he is a slum Lord in a bed bug written management company he steals like I said and damages property do not rent from him he will steal your s*** I would give him zero Stars
Horrible place! Has Mice and roach and bed bugs infestation!!!! Land lord does nothing about it the whole Complex had it.! Its disgusting and a server health hazard....Nothing is ever fix over charges for rent! Mold under the carpet.So freaking gross!!!!!

Always sweet and understanding they have big heart for others yes they get a bit behind on maintenance but they have so many properties to manage I see them work very hard deal with alot of rudeness and still are kind in spite of it and yes ive heard rumors of how theyre supposed to be the biggest slumblords in town but Im speaking out I rent from them and they are some tenants only chance of having an roof over their head without judgement they are good people and its not easy too manage so many properties as you get older so I wish others cut them some slack and try to imagine themselves in their shoes then maybe someone would have as much compassion and empathy as they have to tenants I do recremend them if you want a management team with a huge heart that is willing to work with you and you can have patience then they are absolutely the best hearted landlords ever like a family I dont care what rumors said I rent from them and I see first hand that alot of people that were angry when evicted for mis use of property or non payment of rent gets kicked out and try to start rumors its rude immature and terrible thing to do and it dont look good on your charactor at all
This place is infested with roaches my kids cant even go in there rooms cause they where crawling everywhere we havent been here more then 2 days when all this happened I got more pics and videos dont be the next victim of these slum Lords

2021-12-15Rented an apartment on Vine street a still had the old tenants stuff looks like they still lived there clothes beds couch everything was kinda sus he said I had to break in and hed change the locks other than that no problem ever apartment was decent for what it was his office in Garland was trashy he showed me a few in there and let me tell you that was the most nasty trashy apartment ever

2020-08-12I called just to ask about an apartment and the man was very rude. told me he would not hold an apartment for my parents. even thought it would only have been a few days. I have never had a landlord say that. glad I didnt have my parents rent from them after I seen the reviews anyways. sounds like a slumlord.

2019-03-01I put $190 on an apt that I really didnt want but I was in a position I had no choice. The 190 was to hold apt until they fixed issues in apt. Exactly one week later, today, I called to get my deposit back because it is a dump, smells like dog urine and the bathroom floor is caving in. I called 3xs before he actually answered after leaving multiple messages. I was told and I quote I dont have to give your deposit back just watch me! And he hung up on me. I will be reporting him to BBB and health department. He did me dirty. He will reap what he sows. And anyone else I can call!!

2019-10-29Great guy to rent from some places arent the best his name goes by them.. But Im here to tell you I love in one of his houses and Im perfectly happy no bugs and hes not a slumlord who leaves things undone and he keeps up maintenance. Thank you Max and office and maintenance for all you do.

2019-06-03Absolutely worst place i ever lived do yourself a favor skip this place unless you absolutely desperate. Bugs, rude management terrible apartments. Parking is weird if you park in the wrong spot may find your car towed. Bands of roving kids roam the complex with no supervision i literally seen kids kicking someone car while parents laughed. Love the police? Good because you will be seeing them every weekend.

2018-09-01The Property Manager and office personnel are always kind and polite when I contact them for any reason including a maintenance situation. Marquita is alway helpful with even the smallest things. For example faxing important documents and in a timely manner. Shes always friendly, sweet and professional.My experience with the maintenance staff is they do their up most best, are always nice, polite, and bend over backwards to do their job and leave you happy.Ive lived in my apartment for nearly two years and not only love living here, I am grateful!Im not related or affiliated with anyone at Max Burnett and Associates. This review is based solely on my experience living here so can honestly recommend renting an apartment from them. As for bedbugs? Ive not ever seen one, let alone have any. But I understand this is somewhat an epidemic no matter where one lives.If you have them, get 90 percent alcohol and use a spray bottle. Alcohol, according to my roommate that had them in a different apartment years ago, (Fairborn Apts), said alcohol kills them and that he sprayed every nook, cranny and furniture more than once daily and within less than a week, no more bedbugs! Meanwhile, he washed all clothes and linens and put them in plastic bags while waging war on em. Well ventilate while spraying, he says. Especially if you have little ones. Just an FYI in the event someone reading this needs advise. Do YOUR part, please. Besides, this is a healthier method than chemicals!Big shout out to Max, Marquita, Scott, and Shawn for all they do and many blessings to each of them!Linda S. #8

2020-06-26Bed bugs, roaches, max burnett is rude and aggressive, went on vacation and came back to changed locks and all my belongings thrown out for abandoning the place. When I questioned him, he cussed at me. Ended up having to call cops, and take him to court. He cussed at judge for finding in my favor.

2019-07-07I lived here for 8 years, and both Max and Marquita had been good to my husband and I. However, Im very disappointed they are slacking on the upkeep on repairs in our apartment. Weve had no AC since beginning of summer
