Was in desperate need of having tension/knots released in my back; Gary at the Avon location delivered! If youre looking for a firm pressure/deep tissue massage...I highly recommended you ask for Gary!
Got my first facial done by Kelly, she was amazing! Super nice and explained every product she was using and what it would do on my face. She gave me helpful tips and recommendations on what to use on my skin. 10/10.
I just wanted to say that Angel exhibited excellent customer service skills as I had a situation and the person that I needed to speak with had left for the day. She calmly and politely addressed my concerns and corrected someone elses error. I truly appreciated that and felt it was worth mentioning.
Had some concerns about a female therapist who was seeking the number to a gentleman client she had at the end of her shift. I protect HIPAA laws as a receptionist anywhere Ive ever worked. This was not a professional request, as she informed me he wanted the happy ending and shed be willing to oblige later. She threatened if i didnt get it for her shed have another FDA do it. Worked here the first year it opened and it remains to be one of the most unprofessional work experiences Ive had. When I sent an email requesting to meet with the owner it took over a month for him to respond. When we discussed the incident he couldnt even make eye contact showed zero interest in the conversation and watched the Starbucks foot traffic. After a strange dead air stalemate in the office i stood up shook his hand and asked for a copy of my excellent reviews. Irish Envy inc. was the proprietor at the time.
I am actually surprised by the negative reviews. I have had 4 different therapists at message envy and all of them have been excellent and professional. As far as the facility, what do these people expect, the Taj Mahal? I have no problem with the layout of the rooms, they are well appointed and comfortable, it seeems that people arent happy unless theyre complaining about something. The front desk and anyone who has answered my phone calls for scheduling have always been pleasant and professional as well.
Amazing establishment, professional quality and quantity, personable assistance..I recommend Massage Envy Avon location to all interested as technique of the masseuse will be assistance in restoring your vessel, mentally and physically, emotionally and socially!! Give it try..
I dont get the bad reviews. I have been a client here for 3-4 years and have had nothing but superb service. Up front ladies are pleasant and the therapist are professional. I do physical work for a living and they keep me going
This location along with the Strongsville and Westlake location are owned by the same person. Horrible management with taking care of the customers and mainly the staff. I have worked there for the last three, going on for months and quit today. They have went through over a dozen employees in this time because of how poorly they treat us. Dont support these people.
Had my first massage*..at massage envy..it was awesome...luv..luv.luved it. Bri* was very warm & welcoming..and Ashley* did her magic.I cant wait 2 go bk..Very professional staff...I must say*....thank U 4 a great massage*

2022-08-03You dont realize how a place like this is so important until you use it. WOW The way they treat you and respect you and off course the messages. Go get one and find out what a fantastic experience it is. Pulled muscles gone, nerve issues tremendous help and relief, etc. , etc., etc. You will not be disappointed.

2022-04-19I received a chemical peel and also 3 added on treatments for eyes, lips and neck. My facial, including the add-ons took 25 minutes from start to finish. I was looking forward to an hour of relaxation and everything was completely rushed and I was not the least bit relaxed! Also, I noticed no difference from this chemical peel at all! Such a disappointment and a complete waste of $180!

2022-04-22Ive been going here for a while now the massage wasnt doing much for me so I switch to a stretch session which ones more thats what I was hoping to get out of it but I asked if I could quit my membership and they told me that that would not be possible and continue to charge me unless I had a doctors excuse so beware if you join they will not be able to get out of the membership and they will continue to charge you even if you dont show up thats disappointing considering todays economic environment getting locked in and being charged for something that is not even beneficial for me so just think twice about signing up for a membership youre going to get locked in for a whole year and not be able to get out of it

2020-09-20The first time I went it was okay. The Masseuse was excellent. The customer service/receptionist was incredibly rude. I called to make an appointment with 2 people who have never been there and for myself, a returning customer. Not only are the prices ridiculous, but she was so rude when giving me the prices and seemed like she didn’t have time to speak with me as if her job was that hard. Just letting you know if your a returning customer .. for a 60 minute massage the price is $115. And for someone who has never been there the price is $65. This literally makes no sense just saying. Also you might want to put someone that is more friendly as the receptionist or customer service role. The girl there now shouldn’t be taking with customers or potential customers as it will cost the business money. The girl needs to go scrub some toilets since she wanna act like she don’t have time to talk to customers.

2020-07-12I frequently get a massage at this location and I’ve never been disappointed. I can only speak on behalf of Gary and Frank. They both do phenomenal deep tissue work. These gentlemen know what they are doing. I feel phenomenal whenever I leave Massage Envy and highly recommend this location and those two therapists.PS: if you are getting work done more than once a month I highly recommend getting a membership. Membership cost essentially pays for itself if you’re going frequently.

2020-12-30Today was my first time ever at a Massage Envy. I went online looking for something I could get to in time from my job as I live out closer to Sandusky. It looked like they had some good reviews and the $65 per hour for a massage was great! So I added the hour stretch to my evening there. After I get done with my appts, I asked how much I owed. The receptionist proceeded to tell me that if I sign up for the wellness program for $65/month I wont have to pay the $115 non-member fee. What??? That would have been nice to know before I spent 2 hours at your facility. Keep in mind that Im half out of it from being rubbed down and stretched. Not anticipating a high rate for service, which by the way most places dont charge that kind of fee, I went ahead with the membership I was blindsided with. After getting home and checking the website, I realized that you have to navigate through it a bit to finally realize I just got played. And what happened to the intro price?? I could have paid that and been done, but nothing was ever explained like it should have been the first time I walk into that place!! I will be calling in the a.m to cancel that membership due to severe lack of making your potential loyal customers aware that you are the only massage facility with membership requirements in order to pay what all other places charge. And it comes with several exceptions as well. In fine print of course. Totally ruined my perception of this company and will steer people clear any chance I get.Update: I was able to cancel my membership with no headaches. Thank you Maria for helping with this.

2019-03-16I’ve always had an amazing time here. Every time I go from the front desk to the massage room, such nice people. Today I went with my daughter, she got a facial, I did the whole back. My masseuse Jeff was so nice and down to earth, and gives the best, deep muscle back massage ever. I have a membership and will continue to keep it, love this place 🥰

Tiara was very informative and went above and beyond to help me get me started and the therapist Amy did a wonderful job helping me relax and working on my problem areas. Excellent service, I would highly recommend it here and that you sign up with Tiara.

2017-09-04Massage Envy Avon is a fantastic place. I have seen many therapist there since becoming a member. Jean, Jessika, and Alfredo to name a few. Each therapist has a very different but equally as great style that gets rid of all my work related (construction) aches and pains. I also like knowing that I can get an appointment with a knowledgeable therapist on short notice, during hours that work with my schedule. The stretch program is really great too. The increase in my range of motion after a stretch session is undeniable. I can honestly say that becoming a member was one of the best decisions I have made in a long time.

2016-04-17For the prices they charge, a little more ambiance would be nice. The front areas and restrooms are NOT representative of what the rest of the place looks like. The main hall and rooms feel sterile and cheap, worse than a doctors office. The massage was cookie cutter. Nice but for $80 a little more individualized care would have been expected. I went there on a gift card and will not be returning. For $20 less you can get the same quality (or better) at a spa/salon.
