Upon completing patient review and analysis, Dr. Taylor provides his professional medical recommendations, encouraging questions during the appointment and/or after leaving his office. His open and honest communication is much appreciated. His book, My Neck Hurts dove-tails nicely with his recommendations by providing additional medical guidance for individuals trying to over-come neck related issues.

Dr. Martin Taylor has been vital in helping me manage migraine pain. I have been to numerous neurologists, attempted acupuncture, physical therapy, and surgery. It wasn’t until I began receiving Botox and ablations from Dr. Martin that I have been experiment relief from migraines. They aren’t gone, but are manageable and don’t run my life. He saved my life.
Dr. Martin Taylor’s office has been a blessing to/for me. I haven’t had a true migraine in almost 2 years. I go to the New Albany office mostly. Ashley does my Botox shots quarterly and she is awesome! Also, David in scheduling is a super awesomely as well. Them and all of the secretaries at the front desk are so friendly and understanding. I would definitely recommend this Dr’s office.

Dr. Taylor is thorough and is willing to listen and help. The front desk and medical assistants are always friendly and quick. The problem I’ve had is with his “Secretary David” to whom I’ve been told to call directly if I need to get in to see Dr. Taylor for a shot only; however, I left two detailed voicemail msgs and an email thru the Patient Portal, and I’m still waiting for a response from July 5th!! This review date is August 23rd. I don’t think he’s going to call me back.
Recently, I had an appointment with Dr. Martin Taylor at Ortho-Neuro in New Albany, Ohio. He us friendly, efficient and most knowledgeable about my headaches. I was able to immediately get xrayed at this facility have them read, so he could continue treatment without my having to reschedule. I am highly recommending him to anyone suffering from headaches, neck and shoulder pain etc. The staff is very nice and also accommodating to your needs and the distance you have to drive when making return appointments. I couldn’t be happier with Dr Taylor and his Nurse Practitioner Ashley. He is the third neurologist I had seen for migraines and he quickly had a plan on my first visit. The first plan didn’t work and he quickly moved to another plan and that has changed my life. I suffered from daily headaches and now I may have a few days a month of feeling a little off. I found Dr Taylor through a couple of friends and I have since referred another friend. All of us suffer from migraines.
The most knowledgeable neurologist and headache specialist I’ve been to. My personal struggle with migraines has been a long one. My first migraine was at 5 years old.There have been other doctors to treat me for migraines throughout the years. None of them could manage to control them. Dr Taylor has listened and has been very receptive to what my triggers are causing my migraines. Dr Taylor has managed to get my migraine frequency and intensity lessened considerably. Now I can live my life in a way I never could before. I can’t imagine how much different life would be for me if I wasn’t under his care.
Im not new to OrthoNeuro...Ive been a patient for about 15 years; maybe longer. Ive had cervical spine surgery among other treatments by 5 different docs in this practice for various spinal/neuro/fracture issues. For this specific review, Dr. Taylor was very helpful in addressing my complaints. He was even able to work things out for me to be seen by another colleague for a procedure consult (Dr. Pap) on the same day so I didnt have to come back another time. I truly appreciate their excellent teamwork!
This was my first time to see Dr Taylor. He gave me steroid shots at the base of my skull. This has helped the pain from my nerves and muscles. My headaches are gone too. I have had pain since last September when I fell and broke my neck. I feel so much better now.Dr Taylor and his team were so kind and understanding. The whole procedure was quick, efficient not that uncomfortable. Im glad I went.
I’ve gotten Botox injections for migraines for many years. This was my first Botox experience with Dr. Taylor who is very pleasant, professional, and exceptionally knowledgeable about my conditions and treatments. He travels around and teaches other physicians how to give Botox effectively.He gave me Botox injections for migraines and cervical dystonia. He sprayed a cold anesthetic on each site before injecting the medication. It still stings, but that is the way of it and it’s always worth it when the relief comes (approximately 1-2 weeks later). It’s been < 1 week, so I’m waiting with great anticipation! 😊
I have been with Dr. Taylor for at least 10 years. I have suffered with migraines for approximately 49 years. I receive Botox injections for my migraines. They have done a excellent job of alienating my migraines to on average 1 a month, instead of 1 or 2 a week. Mine are caused by sudden changes in the barometric pressure. I am very grateful and blessed to have found Dr. Taylor. I have recommended home to my friends and family.
I have been a patient of Dr. Taylor and Ashley Gregg for nearly 6 years and their treatment of me has been superior.I was suffering with chronic migraines for nearly two years but with their personalized my migraines are completely under control. Dr Taylor was extremely caring & thorough!! I went in for my 1st visit in extreme pain!!! I have occipital Neuralgia! So he gave me a nerve block that day!!! And made sure to hit all 3 nerves!! For the 1st time in a long while, by 2 days later I could somewhat tilt my head side to side!! And the extreme pain in the left side of my forehead was almost gone!!! Dr. Taylor is well-versed on neck pain and migraines. My only regret is that I was unable to see him sooner in my care. From my initial exam, he was able to confirm and validate every symptom that I experience and come up with a treatment plan. Dr. Taylor and the staff at OrthoNeuro were wonderful. Friendly, prompt, happy... Dr. Taylor was able to relieve my neck pain and headache that day and I have gone a full week, as of today, with no pain at all. I cant remember being this kind of pain free in years. I would have relief, but not completely free of pain. My daughter is thrilled as she used to have to rub my neck 3 or 4 times a week. My blood pressure and stomach are happy as I have not needed any pain meds either. I have been to numerous doctors over the years, but Dr. Taylor was truly the best. Im sure this sounds like a paid advertisement, but when youve gone for over 25 years and cant remember a week without a headache and someone makes that happen, well there are not enough words to show your appreciation. If you need an ortho Nero doctor , Dr Martin Taylor is one of the best in and around Columbus . I trust his judgment and has gave me considerable relief. With all the issues I face. He also had a book called “My neck Hurts” which I do have. Lots of advice and explanation on how our nerves and muscles contributed to pain we experience. He makes every attempt to help with everything that I ask .
Dr Taylor is a wonderful neurologist that is punctual, personable and professional. Dr Taylor has reduced my chronic migraines and neck pain significantly. Prior to seeing Dr. Taylor my other doctors just kept prescribing pain medicine, muscle relaxers and migraine medication. Since I started seeing Dr. Taylor for Botox and nerve-block injections I have discontinued all of the above prescription medications. I highly recommend this doctor for anyone with chronic pain.

I recently had a radiofrequency ablation performed by Dr. Taylor for a problem that has been bothering me for years. However I have never received a diagnosis for the problem until I began seeing Dr. Taylor a few months ago. Not only did Dr. Taylor properly diagnose me but he was able to perform a procedure that isalready proving to be a success in that I am having less pain each day and I am having less burning and tingling feelings in my neck and head and I cannot wait to see how much better I will begin to feel in the next few months and I am so hopeful that this relief of pain and discomfort will continue for years.I also ordered Dr. Taylor’s book My Neck Hurts. It is very beneficial as it helps me to better understand my condition and it provides therapeutic exercises for me to do if I am feeling discomfort, though right now I am feeling really great after the radiofrequency ablation! 😁. My visits have been pleasant, the first visit was with the doctor, my second was with an assistant. My last visit, when I scheduled, I insisted on seeing the doctor. I felt that visit was the best, because I was extremely honest and forthright. I feel he he took the time necessary and was able to see me not just a patient but as human.
Dr.Taylor was great. On my first visit he let me know what my diagnosis was and he told me my options. It all worked well. Getting appointments my very easy also. No long waits. Everyone in the office was very professional and nice.

I called OrthoNuero to schedule an appointment with Dr. Taylor. While on the phone with the scheduler, I asked very specifically if Dr. Taylor performed ablation therapy for my PHN. The scheduler assured me he did, so I scheduled my appointment and waited the two months to see him.Five minutes into my visit with Dr. Taylor, he informs me that he does NOT perform ablations, and that he would have to obtain a referral for me to see one of his associates. I was very disappointed that the scheduler was wrong, but decided to try his recommendations of a different form of Neurontin and steroids. I have suffered with PHN for well over 18 months and I was/am desperate for relief. I figured I would be waiting another one + months for the referral, so the medications might be helpful. They were not helpful, and actually resulted in an increase in pain and the steroids aggravated my reflux disease.As a side note:Dr. Taylor spent more time talking with his resident (who was conducting the exam) than he did with me. I was not impressed with his patient care skills.I decided after suffering through the steroids and getting my regular regimen of Neurontin back on schedule, that I would contact the practice, and ask for a reduction in my bill, since the scheduler was wrong, and what help I did receive was ineffective at best. I made multiple attempts to speak with the billing manager, and after finally leaving a voicemail with the practice manager, she did call me. I explained my case and the billing manager directed me to write up my request and fax it to their office. She said that Dr. Taylor would review the letter and make a determination. I have now waited 3 months for any kind of response. What I did receive was the bill for the appointment for $176.36.I did make several attempts to again contact the billing manager, but she has yet to return my messages.I am paying the bill, but I will never set foot into that practice again, and I will share my experience every time I have a chance.

Doctor gave my mother some type of nerve block shot in her head and now her headache is beyond a pain level 10 coupled with not being able to get a call back from him or to see him. Beware of this doctor! In fact, I recommend you spend your time elsewhere.

After being treated at other neurologists in another state and moving here, this one said he saw nothing wrong with me. However, I have since seen another neurologist and they couldnt disagree more. 2022-06-18I was a little iffy about Dr. Taylor after my first visit. Even though he was very nice He did seem to spend more time talking to the student he had come in with him. My first appointment went very fast and I thought I was just going to be told no you don’t have what your doctor sent you here for, have a nice day! He did say I didn’t have Spinal dystonia, but he suggested trying botox for my neck pain and headaches. He informed me that we can try it and if I see a difference, even a little bit then we can adjust the medication and continue. If they didn’t help then there is no reason to continue putting medication in you if it doesn’t work. I really like that, it wasn’t like all these other doctors trying to get you to come back just for my money even though they know it’s not working. So I went back for my second appointment and he was alone this time. He explained what he was going to do and what muscle he was injecting. The big thing for me is that He doesn’t give you medicine/injections unless you feel that it is working and only then will he continue. He doesn’t want me to continue just so I can help pay his bills, that was huge for me. I will continue to see him and hopefully these injections will help. I will be forever grateful as I have been suffering with pain for over 27 years. I feel you won’t going wrong with seeing him.

2022-07-23Dr. Taylor was great! Extremely knowledgeable and seemed to take an interest plus explaining things in a way a layman would understand. Thats a home run when it comes to doctors!! Please excuse the corny sports analogy haha! But seriously, definitely worth the initial wait. I am looking forward to relief from the Botox injections as I just got them yesterday (side note: The injections were not nearly as painful as the horror stories I heard before my appointment) If all goes according to plan, wait... no... nothing ever goes exactly according to plan (at least for me). If I receive relief from the pain & agony, even if its not 100% relief, he will have earned my trust and I wouldnt even consider going to another neurologist; unless I had something out of the scope of what Dr. Taylor looks at. Thank you, Dr. Taylor!

2022-04-20The check in was quick and efficient. We were seen and taken care of by your doctor assistant not by you. We were concerned about nerve and pain from neuropathy we were given a plan to take care of pain. There has never been any testing done to other than blood test to substantiate diagnosis of neuropathy this tends to disturb me and nothing other than pain pills to help.
