Was priced a set of seats for 900$, I asked the salesman if thats the best price. He replied back “probably could do 750$ if I picked up”. Took a day off work, hired a baby sitter, and drove 4 hours. Once I arrived the salesman said these sell for more on EBay and tried to charge me $1200. I stated I wanted them for the $750.. I was turned down at $750 and also was turned down at the original $900. Waste of time and they whole day driving up there. Poor place to do business.
My husband and I ordered a Mustang 5.0 coyote engine on a pallet. The engine ran while on the pallet. We installed it in our 1968 F100 truck. Bruce from Mars was always so knowledgeable and helpful when my husband would call with questions even though it was several months after we received the engine. We would definitely recommend Mars to anyone wanting to do a Coyote engine swap!
Im in the auto repair business and these guys know how to take care of their customers if youre looking for an engine and transmission with the computer ready to put down in a hot rod these are the guys to go see they have Turn-Key kits ready to go. With warranties and they ship these engines so that you can uncrate them turn the key and fire them up right on the crate. Fantastic I love these guys. And that goes along with all the body parts they have as they are a salvage yard also.
Can’t say enough great things about this place. Not only is it a small family owned company they treat you like family too. I don’t build cars but if I did I would definitely come here for a turn key engine on a pallet. Sometimes you can buy cars from them that they fixed up.
If I could leave no stars I would they are crooked do not trust their Warranties they sold us a junk transmission with a “30 day warranty“ then when we brought it back they refused to give us our money back saying it wasn’t broke when they sold it. They said it it didn’t work we could get our money back because it’s used well it did not work and they refused and where rude and ripped us off $650
Called previous evening to confirm price and availability for a bumper cover for a car, they confirmed it was available. Sent driver 120 miles to pick up part the next morning. Arrived and was told sorry we dont have it. System is bad, not my problem. They redirected me to another parts company 50 miles away with no more certainty that they would have it. Aweful and disrespectful customer service experience.
My car starting overheating on the way there from cleveland and i didnt make it there in time and jhon pulled up in a corvette and helped me get my fans working and sold me my parts and i made it home safely.That right there is what i called great customer service.i would give 10 🌟 if i chould
Holy horrible experience! I swear Ive never seen more mutes then this place has to offer. I guess if the part I ordered is any good it might be worth it. Place makes u feel like ur bugging them to do there job! Customer service anyone? No seriously anyone? No seriously anyone...??? I guess not. And yes its so silent in this office Im in the establishment while giving them a bad review while I hear nothing. Fyi ended up leaving bc they wasted my time telling me they had the part. Showed up no part and no words i asked 10 min later whats the deal he said they had to pull it off the car after on the phone its on the shelf... Amazing how peps dont care about much but boogers and farts newho... not friendly...
Complete lack of professionalism. I called twice before arriving in which I told them I would so they were certain I would be picking up the part because I needed to be fast since I was coming on lunch. They in return told me that would be no problem an assured me it would be ready by the time I arrived. Once I arrived I found out that they did not even start on my part.... So instead of telling them what I really thought an leaving I bit my tongue and waited because once again the manager (if he can call himself that) told me that he would have two of his guys get on it and immediately and it should only be 10 to 15 more minutes. Well after 45 minutes I finally got my part. If I could have found my part anywhere else I would have left. I WILL NEVER BE BACK! & I would never recommend it to anyone. Children can run a Better Business.

2022-04-21Go somewhere else for parts needs, they are selling parts they dont have. I ordered and paid for a Coyote Swap (Engine and Transmission) from them in November 2021 and was told the lead time is 12 weeks. Now 22 weeks later they are telling me it will be another 10 weeks because there are 40 orders ahead of mine. Asked for a refund which they will gladly give minus 25%, which is a bunch of bull.

2022-07-22Steve LaTampa is making a huge difference at mars! I’ve been dealing with mars for a couple years and he’s turning things around. It used to be hard to get a hold of someone. His customer service is second to none! Great guy

2021-07-31Super nice folks, Evan and John took good care of me. Even though, thanks to Covid, it took way longer than expected the end result is I got a great engine/trans at a very reasonable price. And it is plug and play!! The guys in the shop were very helpful, Luke helped me take off parts that the chassis builder did not need before we shopped him the engine, truth be told Like did most of the work. They have lots of performance stuff there. I would recommend taking a look at MARS before you make a purchase.

2021-12-10They are not honest about lead times. They will stop responding to emails as soon as you pay for your engine kit. They do not return phone calls no matter how many times they tell you they’ll call you back. Took 10 months and a Better Business Bureau complaint just for them to do anything to get me what I paid for. Go elsewhere for your LS packages.Response: you can’t even get your customers straight. I filed my BBB claim 4 months after I got my engine because of failed promises and lack of customer service.

2021-03-05John and the team at MARS went above and beyond to make sure my LS swap went smooth. Even a year after I purchased my LS2 from them they helped me out. I had to work out some bugs with my alternator/charging setup... ended up having to go with an F body alternator and one wire control. John was able to guide me through some wiring as well as buy back the parts I didn’t use to get my swap up and running! They have the Knowledge base and parts supply to get your project dialed in. I highly recommend.

2021-06-26I ordered and paid for my 5.0 Coyote engine kit Over 7 months ago, they said it was 10 to 12 weeks lead time, I have called for updates and all I get is it’s “processing”. I’m still waiting for a delivery date.Update: 6/26/21 I received my engine yesterday, everything looks good.
