Market District Supermarket in other cities:
Workers were rude and not motivated to help in any way. On my latest visit to the pharmacy (yes I keep coming back and don’t know why) i went to pick up the two prescriptions I dropped off early the day before. I was informed that they hadn’t started them yet and it would take 15 minutes to get them ready. They finally call my name and hand me one prescription. I ask about the other and they tell me they didn’t do it yet. So now I need to wait another 15 minutes for the second one. While I sit here waiting I am trying to figure out why I even dropped off the prescriptions early. I am also trying to figure out how they are making it sound like I am the one at fault. Do they assume that people who come to the pharmacy don’t have a job and can just sit here for 30 min.
Too crowded. Mainly for the cool, stuck up crowd. Try the Giant Eagle in Stow/Hudson instead. Stupid idea about charging for bags here too. Get with it...no one really cares about the environment....get over it. Ok, maybe cool, stuck up people that dont wear deodorant do. Sorry tree huggers.
Favorite grocery store ever! You can drink while shopping, and their beer selection is above average for the area. My family absolutely loves to shop here... EDIT: they got the blue cheese dressing in!!! Now if they can carry lactose free half and half I’ll never shop at Walmart for groceries again!
They have the best. Im serious. The best shopping carts. Its a small thing. But its cerebral. Also the place was packed today. Once I was in line to check out using the full service check out, took ten minutes with a full cart. Other Giant Eagles should operate like this.
Shout out to the management team at market district, I had an issue with the change I was given last time I was in, and they investigated and got everything cleared up for me asap. Really love the store, its huge, super clean and has an amazing selection! I especially love the craft beer selection and the little bar setup, cant wait to come back!
This location is nice but make sure you check the prices of the items you buy because they don’t like to update their pricing. They had a sign that said Mountain Dew 2/4$ The entire case was filled with Christmas Mountain Dew and they did not ring up 2/4$ when I told the lady she said it’s only the Green ones i’m like there’s not even any green ones in the case it’s only stocked with the Christmas ones Plus the sign did not specify only the green Mountain Dew. They refused to change the price so I just returned the items seemed like they could’ve cared less
This is the best market district Ive ever seen!! I love how they make sushi right there. There is a cafe where you sit, have a glass of beer. Then there is another section for wine!! My favorite 💜🍷. The place is huge. There is also an upstairs to enjoy your meal and beverage. I have to come back!!😁
I ring the Salvation Army Christmas Bell there today. People was very nice and giving. Had a great time. Store workers gave donations also🙂 Having said that. I had to stand outside and it was cold. The virus is still here and I would have work my whole shift but I didnt want to get sick. So thats why you get only 2 stars🙂 but I had a great time in your community🙂 Thank you. But think about letting us come in just a little🙂 please
The staff here is incredibly helpful and friendly. I feel like they trip over each other to helpful. They have been so accommodating, they make it a pleasure to shop there. From helping me load my car, to grinding fresh pork, to wrapping my fish with ice so they can make it home safely. Kelly is one of the nicest cashiers! Thanks for everything!
This review is for the bakery department. I placed a complex order for a birthday cake while I was out of town. They were not only helpful over the phone, but matched the design I sent them via email perfectly. I was actually pretty nervous about ordering this cake wrong. So, the best part of all was the person who assisted me over the phone. She knew what I wanted and guided me through the options with her expert knowledge. Thank you for all your input and hard work! The cake turned out perfect!
I love going to Market District, but there is a woman working in the area of the self checkout that is rude and obnoxious. Every time I see her, I feel like I have to prepare myself for whatever is going to come out of her mouth. She is the last thing the customer encounters and its not a good lasting impression.
They have a wide variety of foods and store is kept nice and clean. Check out here is a lot better than some other Giant Eagle stores where there is only one express lane open with an actual cashier and the self check out lanes. That can be annoying when you have a full cart of stuff and I always seem to do something wrong lol4/2022 update. Really dislike how many registers have been taken out, leaving you with the option to check yourself out or have the few actual cashiers ring you out. Not convenient at all!
It’s kind of out of the way relative to where I live but I really enjoy coming here. It reminds me of Wegmans which is the best grocery store in the northeast (there aren’t any in Ohio.) It’s designed like an old world outdoor market with deli-style counters serving fresh pizza and sushi, various other ready-made food. They have the greatest variety and freshest produce in the area. Variety of organic options. It’s a nice atmosphere.
The suasage is made in store and is great and fresh. Also, the price is better than the package brands and you know where it came from. The mask policy has changed, so if you do not wish to wear one, you can go without. I still do not feel safe, so I will still wear it. Store is clean and they have competitive pricing. Sale items are usually a good buy and currently its necessary to pay attention to sales.
Far and away the best grocery store in the area. I gladly drive 15 minutes to this store despite having a regular Giant Eagle a mile from my house. The prepared and hot foods are very well done. Produce is always fresh and bountiful. Great beer and wine selection, and the fact that they have on-site liquor sales is a big benefit. The sheer size and number of products on offer cant be beat. Sometimes I feel like I could just wander the aisles for hours. Market District is a gem, and every trip feels like an event (in a good way).
Good selection of products. Like that the vegan/vegetarian section has been steadily expanding as demand is growing. Their sushi and other food prepared on site like Pad Thai are very good. Pre-Covid the bar was a great place to be. Hopefully that opens up again. It was nice to take food and drinks upstairs and listen to live music. Prices are pretty high, thats the main complaint here.
My whole experience was fine. UNTIL WE WENT THROUGH THE CHECKOUT!!! The woman that check us out is named Charlene P, terminal 13. We did not get the great service that the customer before us had. Charlene didnt even acknowledge us by a friendly greeting nor asked if I had a discount card. She ran my glass bottles of wine through roughly and when asked that they be bagged - her response was mumbled, He has the same thing to bag on his end as I do on mine. MEANING MY SON who doesnt work there and isnt getting paid is to bag our items. Keep in mind that this was the only conversation that was on her part. What a rude statement to make to a customer purchasing $178 worth of fish, wine and sake. Charlene P didnt even say have a nice day upon our leaving. However, she didnt have any problem mentioning to leave her a great review. If her rating was out of five stars - I would leave her - NONE!
This grocery store is unique. The produce section is fantastic and the grocery isles are competitive. The downside is that it is relatively expensive compared to other grocery stores and the biggest problem is their self scan check out. They only have 2 12 item or less stations and 2 stations that they just let anyone use. This can lead to a lot of traffic jams at the checkout and it always makes me think twice about going in here to just grab a couple of things as I may end up waiting 15 minutes or more at the checkout line. It’s not a bad grocery store at the right time.
The Market District is one of my favorite grocery stores in the area. The store is large, spotless, and full of unique products. The staff is welcoming, helpful, and friendly. I highly recommend the bakery. The selection is amazing and I have never eaten something that wasnt delicious.
The store its self was neat and clean, except the restrooms. They were extremely disappointing, sticky floors, dirty handles, tolits were gross. Had to clean the seat off for my child to sit. I just passed. The checkout became a mess due to a register malfunction but that is no ones fault. They just need to clean up restrooms.
Its the best supermarket in Cuyahoga Falls. Prices can be a bit steeper, but the quality of products make up for the difference. Only reason I gave a 4 instead of a 5 is that the outdoor area and bar are closed (due to Covid, so its very understandable). Once bar and outdoor patio are back open itll be a 5 star place again.
They have a huge selection, and the store is nicely organized. The staff I encountered were very friendly and recommended a few things based off of what I was buying. COVID protocol was being observed. Theyve even added scanners you can carry with you to scan and bag your groceries as you shop. By the time I got to the checkout, all I needed to do was hold my phone to the card reader and walk out the door.
Ive been here quite a few times, and I have to say its both wonderful and just ok. Wonderful parts: unbelievable wine/beer selection, cool little restaurants and ready to eat food, and A big selection of specialty groceries. A foodie paradise. Just ok, this place is crowded most of the time. Lots of folks milling around, which I guess is part of the design for the store. Expect some lines at checkout. Also, and maybe its just me, but I cant get used to the layout. Youve got essentially a basic race track style giant eagle inside of a specialty grocery store. The regular stuff is easy to find, but the specialty stuff is laid out in its own areas all around the store. I just find it really hard to get what I want. Why isnt the specialty pasta next to the regular pasta? It just isnt. I end up wandering back and forth between the regular groceries and the specialty areas.
Grocery store and more!!! Fresh well stocked produce, which being a vegetarian and a chef by trade is very important to me. Nice bulk section. Excellent selection of vegetarian meat substitutes. If you dont feel like cooking there are several create your own meals including Chinese and a salad bar. There is even a bar to get a pint of beer or a glass of wine. if coffee is your thing, theres a Starbucks inside. Ive not tried the bar or the create your own meals but they both look very popular. Helpful, friendly and efficient staff.
Large grocery selection, and a wide variety of fresh produce. Great liquor store. Have different food and music events that are interesting. Some employees are great, but a lot seem like there just screwing around. I also think some of the displays are of questionable taste. Would recommend because its a good store but it could be run much better.
From personal experience I can say that market district giant eagle is absolutely amazing it has everything that you could possibly think of for dinner entertaining parties family get togethers and more. The market district has different events for the public and shoppers to enjoy as well as an outside dining area in fire pit for the cold season. I would give five stars if they were still 24 hours but they changed their hours so unfortunately I have to give them four.
I suppose if you want a destination shopping experience this is the place for you. Personally, I prefer a more straight forward grocery shopping experience. The selections are very plentiful and there is no better prepared-meals options in the area. It would be great if they had a map of the place. As a casual shopper (been there less than a dozen times) I still cant find what Im looking for without making a few trips around the store. Havent tried it yet but I hear cafe / bar is very good.Bonus, they take Google and Apple Pay.
The eve of Christmas eve. I was impressed. They had great associates on staff. These people know their store. At least, that is what I found to be true, today.Ive a strong hunch that my experience was more like the norm, rather than an exception. The thing that impressed me the most was my experience with fellow patrons. I met quite a few very nice folks that were willing to help me find my way around the store. Being new to the area, it made a difference for me.The store met my needs beyond my expectations. Its not your ordinary grocery store.Across the board, I have to give this group a favorable recommendation. They earned it in my book. For the record, I have zero affiliation with this company. I was simply impressed.Sincerely, Brent S.
Market District is simply amazing! Head and shoulders above any other grocery store in town. The staff is friendly and helpful , the layout is great, the selection is amazing and the quality is fantastic. They also provide bunch of niceties that you dont get at other places. Theres the restaurant, the Starbucks, the killer deli, sometimes they even have live music which is a trip to shop to. They also have GetGo right across the street. These are the kind of things that will keep me and my family shopping locally even if Amazon were to offer grocery delivery. Keep up the great work.
Warning to all people with sensitive ears. The bathrooms have a very high pitched sound in them. The only one that does not is the bathroom next to the Huntington bank in the store.Good food, nice sitting, nice people, fun place to shop and hang out. Also theres Starbucks so thats great.
I never visited a Market District Supermarket before so I was surprised!!! The selection is inexhaustible and with a lot of variety! The food area and deli is huge with a variety of items to choose from including some mouthwatering Chinese delicacies! They even have a bar area where you can sit and get a drink. I also liked the cereal area where you can select different kinds (including chocolate almonds and chocolate raisins) and make your own cereal mix!! One of a kind!!
The best Giant Eagle grocery store Ive ever seen and been too. They have the best variety of all items Ive seen and the quality of all of these items makes the shopping experience that much greater. I always go here for select products and their meat and seafood selection is amazing. I would recommend going to this grocery store over all of the others in the Akron area.
The best place to shop and have a beer, lots of good beers on tap. Try a flight, or a glass of wine. Great happy hour at 5, for bottles or cans. It can have a cheers atmosphere, lots of laughter and great conversation if hanging out by the bar area. Great music upstairs on Friday evening. Great hot foods if you choose.
I love this Giant Eagle!! It doesnt get any better than this. I will say that theyre a little pricey however the employees are very friendly and always helpful and the atmosphere in this store is fantastic! Even the people shopping look happier, might be because they are allowed to have an alcoholic beverage in hand or because the sales are great, theyre generally smiling! Thank you GE for putting this great grocery store in our neighborhood!
Pricey, but when youre basically shopping at Giant Eagles version of Whole Foods, its to be expected. I buy a lot of sushi from them. Its always super fresh and consistently delicious. I had a really good time at the bar outside of the beer/wine section as well. Our bartender was awesome but we werent allowed to tip him, which I dont agree with.
Market district is awesome... If you dont know you need to find out. The best part is the bar . no tipping and 5 dollar flights and 2 dollar happy hour specials. Also you can walk around the store with a drink. Their food selection is amazing from aged steak to alligator to good sushi to what ever else. Also the wine department is awesome if you have good taste. I would recommend this place to anyone
Always able to find what I need / want. Great customer service whenever I shop here. Little more pricey than other stores, but the few extra bucks spent on quality meat and produce that doesnt go bad in 1-2 days is worth it. Im not one to drink while I shop but thats a nice bonus too if youre into that!
I love this store! Great variety of grocery items, hot/cold lunch and dinner options too. Great sushi, pizza, chicken. Ive never been to a grocery store where you can get a beer or glass of wine at the bar and drink while youre shopping. Customer service is top-notch.
I love this market district! Everyone is friendly, aside from the 2 times Ive gone to the self checkout where they didnt say anything, not even a hello when they came to fix something on my screen. The bakery selection is wonderful! But the thing I just recently tried was the curbside. Im a first time mom and getting in a good shopping trip isnt always possible. The first 3 trip fees ($4.95 ea.) Are waived. They load everything into your car so you dont even have to get out! Saved me a lot of time!
This Market District Giant Eagle, as with all other Giant Eagles, is fantastic. The stores are clean and the staff are friendly. Probably my biggest complaint would be that the layout of the store is optimized to make the store more money, which makes actual shopping a bit harder. Prices are a bit more expensive than other places, but the convenience of Curbside Express and Curbside Express Delivery make this an acceptable cost increase. Ive been a long time customer, and will continue to be.
Great selection of beer, wine, and spirits. Good amount of prepared food, nice selection of food to eat while there, pizza, meat and potato, stir-fry, and sushi. The grocery selection is very good, from basics to the more exotic and ethnic. We always walk out with more than what we went for due to the specials, both in price and availability.
This is my favorite store and I wish I had one closer to my home. Great shopping atmosphere, pleasant and helpful personnel, and excellent fresh food choices that make for a superb shopping experience! Got their in-house pho for lunch and was overwhelmed with the quality and serving size! The checkout lines move swiftly, not like my hometown Giant Eagle. I come here at every opportunity!
First time there just went in to grocery shop. Found it to be very clean and well organized with so much to offer. Way more than I expected than at a typical grocery store. Upon checkout I found that to be very efficient with the bottle neck area of impulse buys ( well played BTW ) while you wait for the talking sign that directs you to the line you should proceed to. The cashiers are very fast and friendly as well.
This is about as good of a grocery shopping experience as you can get! The place is huge and has pretty much anything and everything. Plus they have a delicious salad bar and hibachi bar, a trail mix bar, candy galore, flavored oils (you gotta try the garlic olive oil!), fresh sushi, fresh baked pizza, gelato, delicious baked goods, an awesome meat department, full deli,....I can go on an on. They also have beer and wine tasting, fire pits and outside spots to eat, comfy inside eating area, and live entertainment. Like I said....its as good as a grocery store could be!
Giant Eagle Market District is an excellent grocery store with an ample wine and great beer selection. A plus is the Ohio Liquor Outlet located in the store. The store is doing its best to provide a safe shopping experience during the pandemic. Customers should follow the signs indication direction in the aisles.
Such a nice place. The store is pretty big, I feel like I need a map. I always get lost every time I come here. Im not sure if all are laid out the same because this is the only one Ive been to in a long time. I do not come here very often but Ive never had a problem except to find things. I normally come on the third shift so employees are hard to find. Im sure its better in the day time. A map really would be helpful. You can only see so many signs at a time and having to traverse the store and back track is frustrating.
This has been such a second home to me. Great people very caring always helpful and kindMoreover, check this out its pet friendly. One of the few places I could have delicious food pho oh yeah@ and have my dog Toby by me keeping me company as we see a concert. You wont believe what talent is in the store serving up some hot pho or hot pizza. and you can get a hot cup of Joe at starbucks. In the summer they have an open patio to eat with a little fireplace out side. I couldnt believe how much there was to eat while listening to a very talented band. Now where can you go for all that in one place.A shout out to Mike for being so kind to Toby and I especially in the Summer.Better check it out@Get some coffee food and enjoy all the kind people you meet there in Giant Eagle.I miss hanging out there. Thanks to all who work and all who serve at The Giant EagleOops. I forgot instead of going to ten stores to get this and that including medicine check out the pharmacy. Great great people@Go Giant Eagle.
Great atmosphere, but if youre concerned about how much is coming out of your bank account to feed a family this isnt the best place to shop. You have to watch what you are buying because they like to play with their pricing. Think you are buying 1 and getting 1 free...maybe, but its not the best deal there is. Its always a clean store and the employees are always very friendly and helpful! I did have an issue where market district brand lunch meat spoiled and got double my money back. Its a great place to buy select items or gift cards for the fuel perks.
Very disappointed with folks being allowed to walk around the store drunk and drinking alcohol while i shop. It is really not professional for a grocery store to permit such as this. I would shop here much more if not for this...Otherwise its a nice store and the sushi is only $5 on Wednesdays and is very good. General Tsos wasnt too bad. Had a funny taste.
I loved curbside pickup pre-covid. The shoppers really paid attention to the notes, and granted special requests with ease. I have noticed that some of the recipes that were a bit different than regular GE (eg chocolate chip muffins) are no longer available. So basically it looks and tastes just like a different version. I figured the company was trying to get rid of stock. The differences are what I dont mind paying for. When the manager of curbside John left the department standards dropped quite a bit. I hope that changes soon. I really need this service for health reasons. Between having a really difficult time scheduling an order to pickup, having meat and other items go bad despite directions to get from butcher or best date, changed recipes, and staff not regarding notes it has really left me wondering if I need a new store to spend my dollars in. I sincerely hope not!
Absolutely love the sushi! Great food items, amazing atmosphere to shop in, yeah the prices are more than Walmart but the produce definitely has a premium feel. If youre one for drinks, there is a bar located near the Starbucks inside.Try the various oils they have to bottle too!
Love this store! When you first enter its a bit intimidating as it is so big and busy. Once you navigate around you realize you can get everything you need all in one place, and I mean everything, fresh sushi made on site, pad thai made while you wait, fresh local produce, deli, bakery, and so much more.
I like the selections and how it meets my standard for healthy food. However, I have noticed some quality control issues such as moldy berries and produce. The cashiers can act a little unprofessional/too casual sometimes. Other than that, this is a decent grocery store. Price is a little high, but they are selling better products than the average place.
Big selection of especially produce but still oddly missing some pretty basic things. The alcohol selection is pretty impressive and is my go to place. The main thing I do not like about this place is how faux trendy its trying to be, its complete lack of certain brands and the use of politically charged flags in the store. I think they need to focus on a more neutral and complete customer experience. I recommend Kriegers for produce
This is my favorite Market District Giant Eagle. Large store with prepared foods, regular groceries, specialty groceries, large beer and wine area, large gluten free and organic sections, and bar/restaurant. Recently tried their California Buckeye Roll Sushi. It was excellent! I love exploring here and can always find the hard to find items on my list.
Good location and lots of variety. Prices are definitely higher than other grocery stores. State liquor store and bar. Can be a bit daunting because place is huge until you get used to layout. Bakery is great. Having store card saves lots of money and fuel perks. Checkouts are usually long as well as Starbucks.
Lots of good deals, but its also a Giant Eagle, so it can be expensive. Also a lot of good, knowledgeable staff- the meat counters, the cheese guy, Josh in produce, and Jessica, the wine steward- shes amazing! Stir fry station always serves soggy stir fries, so I dont buy there anymore. The one time I spoke with a (assistant?) manager he had an attitude. Total opposite of the rest of the staff.
Nicer upscale Giant Eagle at Cuyahoga falls. All the convenience of Giant Eagle, but with more attention to detail. Has an indoor resto as well! And an amazing party place on the second floor reserved for lifes milestones. Very nice spot! And did I mention, 24 hours?!?!?!
It is a huge place, so make sure you have a list and dont have to walk back to the beer area. The bar is a nice touch. Groceries are expansive as all GEs are.Wine collection is pretty good, unfortunately probably the best in the area which isnt saying much. It is hard to get boutique wines in and around Cuyahoga Falls, but they do have some things that wont be found anywhere else. They also have the state liquor store. They do have an upstairs where you can have meetings etc. There is closed off event room. They have fresh made sushi that is ok.The stir fry is so so. They did have a curry version that was pretty good. but over all the sauces do need some work because they make the food taste pretty cheap.
Did my weekly grocery shopping at Market District. Great sales and regular pricing. Always clean and employees are helpful and friendly. They have a wide variety of everyday items as well as great gift ideas. Planning a party...they have party planners in house to help. Going to a party..they have a wide variety of ideas to take to the party. Need a wine or beer selection, they have a huge variety to choose from. If you want a drink while you shop, they have a bar or Starbucks. The carts even have cupholders. Dont want to cook, they have a big selection of prepared foods to eat there or take home.
Best grocery store in the Akron area. Fantastic produce section, awesome bakery, and a wide range of high quality meat and seafood. They also have a wide variety of prepared foods, and a cafe area where you can get sushi, pizza, noodles, and other foods. There is also a craft beer bar and a Starbucks in the same part of the store. They even serve barbecue in front of the store during the summer. The beer and wine selection is probably the best in the area. The worst part about it, though, is that youll probably clean your bank account by the time you leave.
This is where I go to find items not carried at other grocery stores. They have a wide selection. The bakery and catering is wonderful you can easily order online and pick up at the front of the store for a party. They also offer curbside pickup of groceries if you don’t have time to shop. This place can get pretty busy after work during the week and prime time on weekends.
Nice large store with many options, if you enjoy trying new things its a great place to look. They also offer a range of different in store eating options, a bar, and a Starbucks. They have bands come perform for people in the dining areas and in the summer also on the patio. You can enjoy a beer or glass of wine well shopping for groceries. Many types of meat and vegetables that you wont get at your standard grocer. They have a state liqour license so you can grab a bottle well in the store and save a trip. They also offer cooking lessons at times if you ever wanted to learn something new. When you compare this to a regular store its easy to see why this is a favorite amongst the community.
I spend way too much time smelling the giant blocks of soap they cut into bars for you. I need to start allocating time for that to my schedule when I go. Its a beautiful grocery store that has everything. They can be a little pricey, however they are a union shop which is a huge plus for those of us who support workers rights.
First time here as I am from out of state. Big place, plenty of variety all around.. they even had a jack fruit in the produce section! For the grocery side of things, if I lived here, this would be a serious contender as my every day grocery. Add in the fact that they have a ton of hot food stations, a bar, full liquoir and expansive beer and wine offering...why would you go anywhere else?
Ordered a 1/2 sheet birthday cake. Worst decorating job Ive ever received and the almond flavoring was off the chart to strong. It was for an 80th birthday party and was never so disappointed . . . for such a special occasion I expected a little extra would have been put into a $35 cake. I would not advise you to use this bakery and go to another location.
Reviewing a supermarket... well this is a little different than your typical supermarket. So as a food shopping destination I suppose its good. It excels at fresh, made to order and prepared foods. It serves alcohol, featuring wine and beers, and has a state liquor store and good selection of beer and wine. The deli is good. Whats disappointing is the availability and variety of grocery items. While it has most everything youd expect, the variety is lacking, thats not just the Market District, but the parent chain, Giant Eagle as well. Prices are fair, but not the lowest by any stretch of the imagination.
This place is awesome. So much food to pick from I could see myself coming here for weeks on end before ever trying everything I was interested in eating. Also, for people who enjoy tying one off there is also a large area dedicated to alcohol. I wish there were more of these places around so I didnt have to travel so far to get there.
Love this place usually but bartender today, guy with black ponytail and glasses, needs work. Asked him for a second beer and he rudely told me no because I wasn’t the first one here and there were other guests he had to help. It was really weird because it was a bottle of beer, would have taken half a second, but instead he pretty much scolded and proceeded to ignore me. Instead of waiting I got up and left. Probably won’t go back for a little while.
Curbside express here leaves a lot to be desired. Over the last two months, several items have been omitted from my order - the personal shopper doesn’t even get the items even though they are on my order - and their substitution choices are awful. On my original order I asked for boneless, skinless chicken thighs, but the “substitution” I got was full bone-in thighs with skin. That’s just careless shopping, and now I have to go into the store to return them and go pick out what I wanted in the first place. Not really a service when I have to go into the store to fix their errors. That being said, it sure is a time-saver when they do get it correct.

2022-02-11I am so excited about this store and brand. Yes a local grocery store.Let’s dial it down and focus on the details here Pittsburgh owned supports fun creative and cultural products that give opportunities to small independently owned mom and pops so they shelf space!I give them five stars for those reasons and more so if you are in Cuyahoga Falls or the surrounding areas go grocery shopping grab a beer and look at the amazing artwork throughout the store! Don’t for get to try something new.

2022-02-03Fantastic store re cleanliness, food/produce presentation and stocked shelves. Lots of yummy goodness stations to see in this store so take your time and enjoy. Staff were helpful and friendly. Its a big store so put on your comfy shoes. The only issue was the aisles are narrow and too many food displays in the back of the store especially for the riding carts. Overall its the best Giant Eagle I have been to and will be back.

2022-07-08Always a delight to shop at the district market G.E. Im glad theyve extended there hours now till 10pm vs 9pm i can now go back to shopping there. 1st, they have a starbucks on site which is definitely a plus, also a full liquor store, the made shift meals is always available great quality. You could easily spend over an hour just shopping here looking at all there options. Enjoy the experience and get your fuel perks well worth the money.

2022-04-17Very prejudice my family & I was accused of stealing beef bacon when we didn’t even steal it. My husband grabbed 3 things of beef bacon then changed his mind and put them on a shelf where the drink were. Should he had put them back? Yes absolutely. For the whole store to follow us around I thought it was odd so I asked an employee what’s going on and why are we being followed and he said they said you stole bacon. You’ve got to be kidding me!! We get $1,000 in food stamps each month why on earth would we steal? Also the police was called and they banned me for speaking my mind about how profiling us was illegal!!! 2022-04-23Nice grocery store. They really need to reopen all their food options! Its been long enough! The salad bar, the wok, all of it! It was great and delicious when it was available! And reopen all entrances! Staff is usually friendly

2022-05-13The alcohol section is off the chain! Biggest selection of every kind of alcohol you could think of! Mixologists dream of places like this! But its not just liquor! Their beer selection is huge! And wait for it... They even have a bar inside! Go check it out! Ive lived up here for years now and should have been going here a lot sooner!

2022-07-01Feeling like they just wanted to get my cake out of the way real fast. Usually their cakes are really well done… This cake was a bust. It looks like a kid made it. The spacing of the words were messed up. There was an air bubble on the top. The cake also wasnt really what I asked for. It looks really boring and is somewhat embarrassing.

2022-05-09Used to be my favorite store but the recent shift to almost entirely self check and the influx of unfriendly faces on the team (which began long before) have made me begin to look elsewhere. When did service die and why did it take me so long to notice. I hope you rediscover its value.
