I hate bringing my car in to the dealership. I do most work myself, but it isnt always possible due to time or lack of proper equipment. I had a bad experience with the previous owners at that location, so I was hesitant to bring my car in, but being an EREV, it was necessary to use a dealership. I am very glad that I did. I never felt pressured into spending more than necessary, and I really felt that the service manager did what he could to save me money. I could have done this work myself in this case and saved more, but on this occasion I really felt that the dealerships service department was well worth any extra expense - and that might be the first time I have ever uttered those words! This is also the first time I have ever given a dealership of any kind a 5-star review. I will not hesitate to return for any additional work.
There are several reasons I will not be coming back to purchase a car from this dealer in the future and telling others who have previously bought from old dealer that the changes are not better. First they would not honor the gm employee discount anymore. This is disappointing when both my father and grandfather have worked and retired from gm for a total of 70 years of service. Other dealers (including the closest dealers to this one) in the same cleveland market are honoring the discount. Second this dealer is adding a market adjustment price increase to the cars but none of the other cleveland dealers are which one would assume is the market they are referring to. If the other dealers are not adding a market adjustment increase then why does this dealer think they should. Third the cutouts of mark wahlburg in the dealer are creepy and make you feel like they have cameras installed to look watch us. I miss the old dealer and how they cared about the customer. I only came back as my last car buying experience was good but this one was terrible and since their service prices are higher then the other dealers in the immediate area so I will take my business elsewhere.Edited to add in response to dealer: Why would I waste my time calling. There’s nothing you could do to make up for not giving the gm employee discount for my fathers, grandfather, and other relatives service or charging markups on cars your selling which is slightly unethical to take advantage of people who need a new car. I certainly don’t want free service or to see the creepy Mark Walhberg cutouts as I doubt you’d give me a check for the difference you charged me. The actors name didn’t make me come in, it was the previous dealers customer service that did. I wish I had went to a different dealer.
Took a shoot a in the dark heard both good and bad about this location. Came here looking at one truck didn’t work out so found another me and my girl loved so we went forward with it. Happy with the truck but the sells guy wasn’t very good made promises they didn’t keep as well as promised a rental while the radio was getting fixed since it didn’t work when I purchased it but never received a rental. I have worked at a few dealerships myself and know how they work but to buy a 30k truck I shouldn’t have had the problems I received and nothing went right with dealing with anyone in the building. But again the truck I purchased itself has been great but they lost my business as well as everyone who asks me about them. I was looking to buy another truck for me next year but I will be taking my business else where. Had to come out of pocket to get a dvd working that came with the vehicle 650 dollars they refused to pay which is crazy to me. But for my input I don’t recommend this place.
After getting an oil change I checked my air pressure and they were way off, front end was shaking and for some reason was drifting to the left when I just got an alignment months ago also the person didnt go over point inspection and let me know if things were OK or not. All I got was paying with a card or cash? And the keys are in the car. Never coming back for service.
Martie Wood is excellent! She worked with us for style, price and compatibility. She even rode with us to my daughters home to be sure everything for vending fit in the internal space with seats down in back!We bought the Trax after our first visit because of her knowledge, efficiency and skill as a great sales women!!
Would absolutely give less than 1 star if I could. I had been in the market for a 2022 Bolt EUV for months because I wanted to make the switch to electric. However, with the chip shortage and the recall, it’s going to be awhile before that’s available. So I found a used 2021 Bolt here. I asked if it was impacted by the recall and they told me it was not, it was perfectly safe as long as I only didn’t charge it beyond 90%. We did everything ahead of time and just asked that the car be charged when we got there so I could see the battery worked and take it for a test drive. Not only was it not charged at all, they told me they had no idea how to charge it and had to send it somewhere else. But offered to send it there and have it charged and deliver it to me the next day. Something just felt off, so after the test drive and in talking to my wife, we walked away. Much too big of an investment to make somewhere you can’t trust. So, on the way home from our 2+ hour drive, I called another dealer and they were not only shocked but disgusted that they would be willing to sell this vehicle. Going on to tell me that GM is not only recalling all of them, but they’re actively trying to buy them back. They also failed to tell me that GM was asking folks not to charge them near their homes, and not to charge them unattended. I went elsewhere and bought another brand of EV. I would absolutely never step foot in this place - it took me contacting GM before entry even took the car off the internet for sale. Not only would I never step foot in this place, I’d avoid all of the Whalberg dealerships if this is how they do business - I’m still stunned a place is so slow, even with the industry’s issues that they’d be willing to put me and my family at risk without even giving us a warning. Disgusting.
I am so happy I went to Joe Firment to buy our new silverado! Scott was amazing. I went to 2 dealers prior to going there since it was a little bit of a drive and I am so happy I decided to drive out. I didnt feel pressured and he was super patient with me since I was alone because I wanted to surprise my husband. By far the best experience I have ever had purchasing a car! Taylor in fiance was amazing too!!! I will definitely be back in 5 yrs to get my new Traverse!!! Thanks again Scott!!!
Great service, they were not pushy and they were reasonable. We highly recommend Johnathan K or James W. I give it a 3 star because I like to take my car up there for free washes about 2-3 times a week and the first two times I’ve gone my car was washed it even looked like they did a quick wipe inside as well which was amazing and appreciated, but the few last recent times I’ve gone it was just like it was rinsed off with water which is unfortunate because I loved having that option after spending so much money there on a nice car and given that my car is black and salt is not its friend. All in all the sales team is great all around. Just wish the washes were consistent every time.
Everytime I am in your dealership your employees are so helpful, polite and they make the car buying process easy. I like that I can walk into your dealership and not have a pushy salesman on me. They give you the space to do what you want and when you need help they are there for you. Great job!
My salesman John was amazing! He got me exactly what I wanted and had me out of there with my new car in only 2 hours. He took the time to go over everything about my new car to make sure I was comfortable with everything. I will definitely be back to get another Chevy when my lease is up
Ive been a customer since 2015, usually servicing my Equinox at Joe Firment whenever possible. Each time, Ive been treated with respect and in a very friendly, informative way. Im not a car expert, and my questions are always answered in ways I can totally understand. Highly recommended as a friendly place to buy a vehicle, and a friendly place to get that vehicle serviced.
The body shop manager could not have done his job any better, nor could the techs who worked on my car. What a pleasure doing business with your company and being treated like a customer should be. I knew when I had bought my Impala from Firment that it was the best car buying experience I had ever had and I have bought quite a few having retired from GM. The body shop experience was just as nice. Thanks to Mike and his team of five star techs.
4/24- Came in for an oil change scheduled at 10:30am, also wanted a rattling sound be checked out. Sat in the waiting area and did not hear anything from anyone until 1:30pm informing us my oil change was completed and I still need $1,100 worth of work done on my struts. I purchased the vehicle less than 6 months ago from this dealership and am being told nothing is covered under warranty. It is quite frustrating that I did not hear anything about my vehicle for three hours and that a 2018 chevy traverse with less than 30k miles purchased 6 months ago now needs all this work on it. I only put 3k miles on this vehicle in a total of 6 months of having it. If someone can please reach out to me and assist with this situation that would be greatly appreciated. At this point, I honestly would not return to this dealership nor recommend, and prior to this experience we have had great service.
Attempted to buy a vehicle out of state. After refusing to take my trade, I went to a local dealer and traded in no problem so the trade would not be a factor. After, I let them know I was extremely interested and could make the 5 hour drive the next day if needed to purchase. After several days of ignored emails and unanswered phone calls from two different people, I was finally given a call back to tell me it sold.
I’ve been a customer since 2016 & was alwayshappy with the service. I was always given a 10% discount because of my place of employment (GM). However when I recently went, I was told they were no longer giving any discounts….seriously:(. Being a single parent….any discount…..or help is ALWAYS helpful & greatly appreciated.
Had the worst car buying experience in my life at this dealership and Ive been purchasing cars for more than 50 years . My wife had an appointment to look at a SUV .To start the vehicle was dirty is this anyway to sell a car especially when they know you are coming to look at that particular vehicle ? The salesman Don Harold spoke to my wife briefly then walked away never explaining any features on this SUV . Not being familiar with the push button start it took us a good 10 minutes to get it started and figure out all the controls so that we could take it for a test ride safely .Drove it around the block and when we returned Don Harold was nowhere to be found we had to flag down another salesman to return the key. It was a 35 minute drive for us and needless to say a waste of time ! We ended up going to another dealership AutoNation Ford , had a salesman who took the time to show us a couple of SUVs ,explaining their features and answering any question we had and we ended up purchasing from them . You lost a sale thanks to Mr. Harold I had to post 1 star to get this posted but I would not have even given it that !
The inconvenience this dealership has caused my family is immeasurable. We purchased a car two months ago that was defective. We purchased a used van thats engine did not work. I have only been in possession of the vehicle for only two weeks of the two months Ive been paying for the car. After multiple attempts to repair the car the engine still does not work. It stalls on the highway and puts my family in danger. I have asked the dealership to cover the cost of my payments to compensate for not having a car that can fit my family. The customer service has been dehumanizing and offensive. Please do not patronize this Chevy dealership.
After a couple of weeks of shopping used car dealerships, we were fortunate to find the van our church needed at Joe Firment. Right from the receptionist answering the phone, to my salesman and the service department, everyone was highly professional, honest and sincere. God smiled on us when we were sent to Joe Ferment!
Bought my first minivan from Mike Manos! Could not be happier with it and the whole process. We brought 3 kids along with us and that can be tough. Mike and Bryan in finance were outstanding!! The service was incredible. I will definitely recommend Joe Firment to my friends and family.
Mike is very knowledgeable about the vehicles and listens to the customers. He attended to our needs and has gone above them. He has made appointments for us to bring the car in to have the remote start feature added to our new Malibu. He is making sure we are being taken care of. He really believes in his products and loves what he does.
I had a recall on my Chevy and I got an appointment next day. It was fixed really fast, the staff was very friendly and they had a really comfortable waiting area. The best part was that they gave me a free car wash! Awesome. I would recommend Joe Firment Chevrolet to anyone. It was so easy to book an time to come in and the woman on the phone was so nice!
Will never purchase another vehicle from them. I live 7 1/2 hours away... contacted them regarding a 2013 Jeep Wrangler. I do have to say they were very accommodating and responsive over email when they saw the sale coming. I asked for video and pictures of the vehicle beyond what the website offered since I was 7 1/2 hours away...I wanted the good the bad and the ugly before I drove all that way. The salesman did just that.. or so I thought. So, I agreed to purchase the Wrangler, drove the 7 1/2 hours with my dad to pick it up. Got there and the Jeep was in extremely rough shape... I’m talking dents and scratches beyond belief... the entire inside of the vehicle was beat up.. NONE of which was depicted in the pictures and video I asked for. I understand not all things show up in pictures and videos even when you try to capture them.. I also understand I was buying a 2013 with 117,000 miles.. but this was beyond normal wear and tear. I decided to buy it anyways because I had drove so far and already had the check and let’s face it I was excited and already had my heart set on it. Let’s fast forward to my drive home.. Jeep ran like a top.. I was impressed.... 4 days later check engine light came on... 2 weeks later rust is coming through on all the hinges on the doors (they they freaking painted over prior to me buying it and I didn’t know it) ... now transmission is slipping. This isn’t just an $8,000 vehicle... I spent $19,000 + on this vehicle with tax title license. To say I’m disappointed in the way this experience has gone is a complete understatement.
I took my car to get it fixed to a different dealership orginally, it was there for over two weeks and the problem I took it in for was never resolved. This place had my car for less than 24 hours. They fixed it and washed it and had excellent communication through the process.
Best car buying transaction for me by far. Scott- Internet Manager had the 2017 Chevy Traverses ready when I arrived. All the vehicles were low mileage, one owner and Carfax certified. The prices were reasonable and lower than other dealerships with higher mileage cars. We agreed on a price and when I arrived the car was waiting both washed and detailed. Darren - Finance Manager had the paperwork ready and I was in and out in under an hour, but not before Scott took time to explain the controls. I highly recommend Joe Firment and their entire staff if you are in the market for a car.
Came in for an oil change and tire rotation per maintenance requirements for my 2019 Tahoe. Service Advisor was very professional and prompt in taking care of my needs. Checked in at 7:58 AM on 2/22/21 and was checked out at 8:27 AM which included my car being washed. So far I am very pleased with my vehicle and the service it is receiving from Joe Firment.
My boyfriend and I went and seen Jonathon and he was the most nicest guy we have ever dealt with at a dealership. He didn’t rush things at all, and he always made conversation so it’s not awkward sitting there in silence. He made buying a vehicle a breeze and actually fun. He made sure my boyfriend and I both walked out of there with vehicles. If I ever need a car again I’m going to him along with my boyfriend. Thank you jonathon for everything you have done for us!
My wife and I visited the dealership a couple of weeks ago. She got a brand new 2020 Equinox and I bought a 2018. I cant believe it took me so long to write a Google review for them considering these two vehicles accounted for the 17th and 18th vehicle referrals we have sent to the dealership and they have all been sold by James over the last ten years. Friends, family, and co-workers keep going because it is a fantastic place to go for a vehicle; new or used. The sales staff, finance folks, and service department have always been incredible. Any level of dissatisfaction has always been resolved in a quick and fair manner. If youre going anywhere else for a vehicle, especially a GM, youd be doing yourself a disservice by not going to Joe Firment.
No issues keeping the team from 5 stars. My wife and I went on a fact finding mission to confirm If a midsize truck will meet our needs as a family. Unfortunately, not for us. However, the team was supportive and took the time to assist us in setting up the car seats, etc.
Worked with Scott to get into a new truck. Inventory around the state was very low. Some other dealerships didnt want to work with me over the phone/email. Scott jumped right in, and had the truck delivered to my house in 48 hours. Was very easy to work with, fair priced, and excellent truck.
Its always a good experience, the people.ar every helpful and kind, its a light and airy feeling in there. Sometimes you go places and it leaves you feeling uncomfortable and out of place especially for people of color in a suburban setting but this place DIDNT make me feel uncomfortable. I drive from Shaker Heights, Ohio to come to this place just for an oil change so that says a lot about how much I love their service. I am a satisfied customer.
I’d like to give a big THANK YOU to the Service dept over at Joe Firment Chevy! Last Wednesday, 6/2/21 my parents we’re hauling their 5th wheel RV from the Buffalo, NY area for a camping trip, when they had a transmission issue with their brand new 2500. The great people in the service dept we’re able to get their truck into the shop the very next morning first thing, and remedy what ever was wrong with it!!! They even let my parents camp out in their parking lot for the night in their 5th wheel lol. Everyone was super nice and accommodating!!! I myself work for a large auto group in New York, and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you taking care of my parents while out on the road!!!! Top notch company right here…. Thank you to all that helped out and gave a kind reassuring word to keep my parents in good spirits while they diagnosed and repaired their truck!!!!!!!
This was the best experience I have ever had when leasing or purchasing a vehicle. There was no high pressure selling by the sales person or the manager I worked with at Joe Firment. The sales person was Caroline Dracka and I found her to be very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. The entire staff made my experience stress free. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to lease or purchase a vehicle.
New ownership means some adjustments and rough patches. I was kept in the waiting bay for about fifteen minutes before I was checked in. Service was delayed by the professional mechanic who refused to reach into the center console for the lock lug socket because of a firearm safe mounted within. Had to go out and physically pull it out so tires could be rotated. Never had the previous staff before ownership changed do that.Rethinking this dealership maintenance thing. I pay more than an independent or after market maintenance shop, for a personal attitude from a mechanic? Makes me wonder of quality of service.
One of the best dealerships! Martie is fantastic no pressure. She is the best. I advise anyone looking for a car to stop in and talk to Martie. Best hands down experience I had purchasing a vehicle. Finance guy was great also. Thank you Joe Firment! Especially Martie!
Very bad experience here. Was here recently to get routine maintenance and had 2 issues I wanted fixed. My check engine light was on and the AC wasn’t working when the car wasn’t moving. These seem like routine problems one might have with a car? They charged me almost $200 and neither issue was fixed. The car was overheated when I picked it up and the check engine light was on by the time I drove the 10 mins home.
Excellent customer service before and after the sale. The process was very smooth. They went above my expectations for a car dealer. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Worked with James as my salesperson. Martie and Jonathon also assisted after the sale. Financing was smooth. Will go back for my next vehicle.
I came to Joe Firment to see Jonathan Kazy to get a car. Him and Annette helped me so much. I would recommend this dealership to anyone. They take care of you so much. Their customer service is beyond amazing. They have the best prices with the most amazing staff. I wouldnt buy a car from anywhere else. This place had the best most friendly experience I have ever had. If you want or need a car go to them and see Jonathan
Marti, the sales person was great, easy to work with, did NOT BS me and got me what I needed for the price I needed....I generally hate the whole car buying process and went to several dealers (one I even walked out on) and in the end decided to work with Marti and Joe Firment.
I was so nervous coming in to buy my first “new” car. I was so sure that I would be intimidated by pushy salespeople. I’m if anything overly nice and polite so I don’t respond to that very well. However I was paired with Marti and she was so great. She was very helpful and answered all of my questions, if she didn’t know the answer she went and got them. They worked with me and I got the car I wanted at a much better deal than I thought I would leave there with. Marti made everything really pleasant and I would recommend her to anyone, especially those wary of pushy dealers. Thank you Marti!!!
I recently purchased a pre-owned Malibu. I drove 4 hours to this dealership, because the price and features on the vehicle I was looking for was just perfect. The saleswoman Martie and I handled most of the work over the phone and e-mail prior to my arrival, and I must say it was a very pleasant experience dealing with her. She is very sweet, personable and informative. The car wasnt filled up with gas prior to me arriving, so she drove down the street to the gas station to make sure I went home with a full tank :). There was a discrepancy on the banks end that did take several hours to get cleared up before the financing would officially go through, but the guy named Darren handling my financing worked diligently to make sure I went home with my vehicle (which I absolutely LOVE by the way). I would definitely return here and recommend this dealership.
A little upset I was charged $90 after they called me and said they didn’t do anything to my car because there was nothing to fix. They told me they were charging me for an hour of work...how could you have done work if you called and said you didn’t do any? I didn’t even get a free little car wash like they have normally done for me in the past :/
Went up to their lot to see what kind of selection they have and needless to say I was very disappointed to see that the majority of their used vehicles are not GM, but rather Chrysler products. If your looking for nice used Chevy products this probably isn’t the place for you. I guess if you want a wrecked Chrysler Pacifica this is the place for you
We were very happy with our experience at Joe Firment Chevrolet. Ralph Munoz was very helpful in obtaining the car we wanted. He communicated with us regularly throughout the entire process. Bryan Megon was thorough and efficient in setting up the financing of our lease. We highly recommend Joe Firment Chevrolet.
Took my vehicle in immediately. Kind and courteous service professionals.I like the work cubicles as I was able to set up my laptop and get some needed things done. The coffee and donuts are a nice touch as well! The only negative was the car wash was down and apparently had been for a week. Not a big deal.
I went into Joe Firment the other day to purchase a used vehicle and this was hands down the best experience I have ever had purchasing a car. Every single person I talked to and dealt with seemed to genuinely care about getting me the best deal possible. My salesperson, Martie, was amazing. Not once did I ever feel even the slightest bit of pressure or encouragement from her to take a deal I was not happy with. In fact, it was the exact opposite. I truly felt like she was on my team and really just wanted the best for me. All in all, just couldnt be happier with the experience. And as if this wasnt enough, after all the papers were signed, the dealership took care of switching my registration for me, calling my insurance company to add the new vehicle to my policy and Martie even came into my new vehicle and helped me set up my free 30 day trial of OnStar and walked me through setting up my phone for Bluetooth. At every step of the way, they went the extra mile. This is truly what customer service should be about.Oh and the free hot dogs and coffee were pretty awesome too.
Went in for oil change with coupon for Christmas made it affordable, since Ive been sick and out of work. They didnt seem interested in another issue I had,I know an acorn feel down in my vent, every time I turned it on I heard it flopping around, could have been more than 1but my Fan was making noise allso,I asked if they could check it for me,oh well well have to take it all apart, yada yada yada... being Truck Driver Im not completely ignorant to working on things,I chooses to take it to somewhere down the street.
I came in for routine oil change. Last time we didnt have to print out our voucher from GM rewards; however this time I was told I could not use my reward points as I didnt have them printed. I had to pay for the $50 service charge. What frustrates me is this vehicle is a lease and due to a job change I am driving much less so this may have been my last oil change before my lease is up.Otherwise; I havent had any issue with this dealership.
This experience could not have been better. After we had been bait and switched by another dealer, the salesman at Joe Firment was awesome. He was straightforward and honest from the very first phone call. The entire process was simple and we were treated with respect the entire time. I would highly recommend this dealership.
Summary: The Finance Manager, Darren is dishonest and unprofessional - After complaining about this, they did not seem to care - When I got my car back from the body shop (as part of my car purchase, they agreed to do some minor touch-up body work) the entire interior of my car (which was spotless when I dropped it off) was covered in white dust or paint or something. Now I have to take time out of my day to fully vacuum it out and wipe down the entire interior of my car - Such an awful experience. Our sales consultant, Rachel was helpful and friendly - That was the only nice thing about this car purchase.
Our salesman Mike Manos was above and beyond the level of service we expected. We wanted someone to give us options with no unnecessary fluff and that is exactly the service he provided. The vehicle he helped us get into is exactly what I wanted and they were diligent about keeping our price where we wanted it. We would highly recommend him and this dealership!!!!! Kudos to Mike for all of his work and efforts. Thanks to the whole team!!!!!
When I first was looking to buy a new car I put in an Auto quote to like 5 dealerships. I asked for a quote on a low model Cruz. The quotes I asked for were No $ down, Money down and for a leased quote. Talked to 4 of 5 about what I wanted. The fifth one (Joe Firment) I was unable to take at that time. The next day I called Joe Firment and talked to sales rep for 20 min. About 20 min later he called with my quotes. (never heard back from other dealerships). The process is easy. They answer all your questions. When I went to pick up my car the salesman found some blemishes in the paint (before I could) and got it fixed. I have bought all of my new cars from Joe Firment.
Just bought a used Honda Odyssey from Joe Firment! Our whole purchase team startong with our internet contact Annette, to our sales rep Scott, to finance with Darren, and a short stop with Cole; one of the greatest, smooth, non-pressured car buying experience! everyone was quick to help and make sure we were taken care of! great work team, and thanks for a smooth transaction!
I had an Incredible experience at this Dealership. I came in with an old truck and left with a newer one. The process was painless and easy. I would like mention Mike Manos and Bryan Megon whom I dealt with. They were extremely professional and efficient. I highly recommend working with these two.
Fantastic car buying experience! Best price, zero pressure to buy, quick and efficient trip through the finance office. My sales person Scott Childers even took the time to give me a rundown on all the infotainment features after the car was bought. This will be my dealership of choice.
The best car buying experience my wife and I have ever had! Our salesperson, Tracy A. answered every question we had and made us feel like we were buying our car from home. We did not even plan on buying that day and before we knew it, we were driving home in a brand new 2016 Equinox that WE LOVE. Although this was our first visit to Joe Firment, it definitely will not be our last. Thank you Tracy and Joe Firment, were glad we went.
Trunk would not open. After searching the problem, the mechanic was able to re-wire the trunk area and fix the problem. Since this took a long time, they were nice enough to offer me a car to go take care of some personal business and come back when it was done. My wife and I have always been happy with the service at Joe Firment. The hot dogs and coffee was a nice perk on a Saturday. Thanks!Doug
I went in for a oli change and asked if they could take a look at some things.they came back and told me there was something leaking it would cost me $80 for them to look at it and it would take about a hour to run a diagnostics . Now I really didnt have it to do it but I had them do it anyway cuz it sounded serious. 10 minutes later they come and tell me its my power steering leaking..... I was mad cuz to me they already knew what it was!.I mean Im I wrong?? How do you tell someone it would take about a hour for the diagnosis and it only take 10 minute!!!!!.
Needed a replacement key and at the point of call I was outta pocket already. They were able to get me a new fob and shape the key however they sent me away w instructions to reprogram the key once I had gotten back to the location of my vehicle. Thankfully... I can read and didnt have any trouble with that as he mentioned may have been the case in which I wouldve had to have a tow to their location in order to have key programmed (sigh) Grace & Peace ✨
Rachel was fantastic! I had a 2016 Cruze with 5 payments left on my lease. I wanted to get into a new truck and they didnt disappoint. I looked at a truck at another dealership and their prices were too high from where I wanted to be, and the truck was also a base, bare bone model. They beat a competitors price by 20$ a month on a brand new Silverado which had more features and options than the other truck I was looking at. Rachel was very kind and prompt to make the process as quick as possible, and also answered any questions I had without hesitation.Their service department is great! I had some issues with my Cruze so I took it to Firment as it was the most convenient for me from where I work. Not only did they take care of the problem, they were also able to take care of the 3 recalls in a convenient time frame. Pat OBrien had cause the original problem and has also told me they had the recalls taken care of, but they never were.I would highly recommend Firment over any other dealer. My family has dealt with them multiple times and they never disappoint.
I walked into Firment and while in showroom I could not keep myself from listening to this gentleman that surely was streetwise as I was. He was very kind also but had no idea it was Mr.. Firment himself and we just had a good time together shooting the breeze. I made my mind up that this man was all about customer satisfaction. He gave me an autographed tee-shirt and I bought a Malibu.I considered it a pleasure in meeting a man who started working at 10 years old to become a true success in life and business and this was a honest man.
I bought a car from James Wood a few years ago. The car had an issue with the waterpump and they gave me a loaner until the issue was resolved, we were so impressed with the service that my wife said we will buy our next vehicle from them. I still drive the car today and it has and still continues to serve me well. Thanks for the great service and I look forward to doing business with you in the future.
A year ago I had a problem with the dealership. They sent me a free oil change to try and make up for it. For a year I have not brought either of my Chevys to you, even though one is leased from you. I decided after a year to use the coupon and give you another shot. When my wife came to pick up the SUV she was charged $66.00 for the service. The cashier apologized and voided the transaction, but yet another mistake after a year. So Maybe 2020 will be the year Firment takes care of my family. I can say that our lease is up in January, I will be purchasing another Chevy, but not from Firment. Its a shame, I worked with Firment a lot at the 57 location. My family has purchased several cars over the years. Seems since service changed at the new location we just cant get taken care of.Good luck with other customers, I am sure it is just me and my family that cant get taken care of. Simple oil change with a coupon shouldnt have became this difficult.
Excellent staff at this location, I appreciate their service. Anything they work on with your vehicle, they wash your car as well. That’s awesome if you ask me, I had a Cam Shaft replacement for my Chevy Cruze. And it sounds brand new again, once again thanks for everything Joe Firment. 🤓👍🏻
Mike Manos was awesome to work with. From the first time I spoke with him on the phone till I drove my new Silverado off the lot, the experience was very professional. Closing up my deal, Bryan Megon was awesome explaining everything very clearly and thoroughly. Overall excellent service and very professional through and through. Highly recommend
Not a good experience i called for a car they had for sale i talk to a lady on the sales department on a Monday she told me the car had to go tru inspection And it would take up to 3 days before is ready for the lot , she took my name and my number and i told her please as soon is ready let me know i want to buy this car she said yes i will let you know , so today Tuesday i called just to make sure when the car was going to be ready and the used car sales manager tell me the car is sold it sold last night I was like WTH dint even give me the opportunity to make a offert or pay the asking price i had the money and everthing I need it .i would never try to buy anything from this place again . I hope the company shares this comments with the personal the person the did this would know who she is i even said i would arrange my own deliver for this car . Not happy it all
Joe Firment is a top notch Chevrolet Dealership. Great group of people that make this a special place. If you have an opportunity to speak with Joe Firment, do it. Great vision with respect to business and the world today. I have a dealership closer to my house; however, it is worth the drive to come here! Keep up the great work!
This dealership is awesome, they are super nice and make you feel like a customer and not just someone that will give them money, they take the time to explain everything and make sure you are comfortable and leave the dealership with piece of mind. I bought my car from caroline and highly recommend her to everyone, very nice and professional, she is not pushy like a lot of sales people and she wants you to be happy with the car you buy.
Nice to know that old fashioned mannerisms still exist. You know- polite, non-intrusive, non-aggressive in your face attitude, informative, actually care about you and your needs kind of people.Yes, they exist at Joe Firment Chevy in Avon,Ohio .I’m specifically referring to Rachel and her team that made buying our cars from them a fun, relaxing time. You don’t have to cringe when you are walking around their meticulously cared for new and previously owned outdoor viewing area.Same with their indoor viewing area!Do yourself a favor. Buying a vehicle is a major expense. You deserve high quality everything and that is precisely what Joe Firment Chevrolet in Avon Ohio offers you, nothing less.Ahhh, today, July 3rd, 2019 and now I’ve had an opportunity to have service done on my 2017 Colorado.Clean the fuel injectors ect., a service recommended by Cole, one of the service write up professional’s at the desk when you enter the service area.Due to prior experiences at another dealership I have a problem trusting what I’m told about what my car needs. I’m not too mechanically inclined 😬 🤷🏼♂️, easy to take advantage in that area. I guess 😂.Well, I had the recommended work done buy the technician I was introduced to. The technician was so very polite and knowledgeable.... he didn’t act like he was doing me a favor when responding to my questions. As was the same with Cole. Very, very polite and professional, very close to keeping everything on schedule, and brought my truck around to me when it was time to leave!Gees, to find a dealership that one can trust entirely, meaning ALL the employees ( that I’ve associated with)seems to be, sad to say, unusual.Kinda brings back nice memories of when the priority was the customer and how we are treated, rather than the almighty dollar$$....Visit this dealership. We work hard for what we want to purchase and want reliable, trustworthy results and this is the place to get them.
Unprofessional and shady service department - i won a free oil change and car detail that firment’s donated to a steak fry. Firment kept my car for 2 days and called and said i needed brakes - when i told them i would do that work myself they said come and pick up your car - they did not detail (not even vacummed) the car and i’m not sure if they even changed the oil - when i asked why they didn’t detail the car they said “well you did not pay for it”. HELLO YOU DONATED THE PRIZE
Took my truck into service because my front and was rubbing and the both sides calipers are drenched in brake fluid. But I had replaceed everything with new parts. After they had my truck from 10am to 5pm they keep telling me there isnt nothing wrong with the truck but as soon as I leave I can feel something wrong with it and still brake fluid all over the calipers. Just upsetting knowing that theyre is issues with it and the Mechanics are not seeing what I see or feel. Plus when it was in the shop they had replaced my left reset axle seal and put in a new pair of brake shoes but didnt dip the same for the passenger side. Not happy art all with the service department. Sales and everything is great.
I came here not sure what to expect (I have never done business with them) after finding my first choice in dealerships was closed for the day. I left In record time for any dealer (4 hours later) getting well over KBB on my trade-in as well as several thousand off plus GM employee discount with my new truck. The salesperson and staff was very helpful at answering my questions and was confident threw the whole process he would get me the deal and payment I was looking for. Im old school when it comes to car buying and love to haggle (the dealer needs my purchase more than I need to make one) and am not afraid to walk if I dont feel satisfied. In 20 years of owning cars this is one of the only times I didnt get the chance to haggle. The dealer met and exceeded any deal I was willing to fight for leaving me very happy with my purchase.
I have been a customer of Joe Firment now for over 7 months. I now have experienced all areas of the facility. From sales, to finance, to warranty follow-ups to normal maintenance. Each and every team member of this dealership treat me well, and provide open and honest information. I have never experienced a dealership like this one, and will definitely point friends and family here. (Not to mention the location is amazing!). I love my Chevy Captiva, and Joe Firment staff continually validate that my purchase, and move to this dealership was absolutely the RIGHT choice!
In the last two weeks I have had service work done at Joe Firment. Robert Symanski assisted me during both visits. He is friendly, competent, knowledgeable and an asset to the company.I would not hesitate to recommend Joe Firment service department and more specifically Robert Symanski to anyone needing their vehicle attended to.Thank you!!!
I went in wanting to buy a used truck. They told me they would not come down on the price after we showed them the exact same truck with 600 less miles from another dealer $2000 cheaper.I figured they would want to work with me since Im a returning customer but I guess not. Thet missed out on a guaranteed buy. Their loss I will take my business elsewhere and buy the same truck from a better dealership
We were pre-approved and ready to buy a truck. Unfortunately they wouldnt budge much on the price, and offered us well under fair trade value for our car. We walked out. Pat OBrien got our business. Found a better truck for less and they gave us $2500 more for our trade in!
If you buy a used car, I highly recommend the extra warranty they offer through Allstate. Our dvd player went out 4 months after we purchased our van and it would have cost us $2000 to replace it! Our fuel filler neck went out and now the engine light is on again for the fuel ratio and O2 sensor. Ive been there 5 times in 8 months....
I like the staff and very nice selection and affordable cars. Bought my first car here and all was well until I left the dealership.. Had engine problems & electrical issues, and more. The dealership fixed the problems but i was very disappointed that I had problems the day after buying the car.
I traveled across 2 states to buy a truck they claimed was in great condition and ran perfect. As soon as I took the truck for a drive there was clearly something wrong with it. When I brought it back, the older gentleman that claimed to be the service manager argued with me and said I was wrong and that diesel trucks always ran like that. 3 hours later after they finally had a mechanic take a look at it, they concluded that the ECU was tuned wrong and they were not equip to fix the issue. Obviously this truck could not be sold and wasted this customers time and money for traveling to them after lying on their Auto trader post. To top it off they have yet to remove this truck from the site so it makes me wonder if they arent just trying to sell this truck to some one less educated about vehicles. Dont waste your time going up there unless you want to get an ear full from a rude service manager and deal with faulty vehicles. Clearly this owner has no clue how to run a business with adequate trained employees.
Terrible experience trying to purchase a vehicle from out of state. I was de prioritized and they sold the vehicle to someone local due to the lack of communication. Tried speaking to multiple people and left a voice mail for the sales manager but they were unresponsive.
Bought a 2015 silverado at the end of Feb. Used my ac for the first time a few weeks ago and it didnt work, took it in only to be handed a $1000 bill for a ac compressor. Asked why I should be coming out of pocket for a truck i just spent 22k on and they said I should have got a warranty. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.
Alex was especially helpful this morning....I took my wifes car in for her drivers side wiper not working and after Allstate VSC refused to cover it although it is under warranty....he made every effort to ensure that I still was treated like a Valued Customer!! Two Thumbs Up to Alex....I appreciated it!
So upset with Joe firment! My husband and I have purchased 4 cars in the past and things have gone down hill from there. Most recent incident is when my senior mom bought a Malibu cash that she saved for and had it 3 months and took it for her free car wash and was told that a employee damaged it and has to have a new roof! Wow still waiting for it and they act like oh well were giving you a loaner till its fixed so you should be happy were doing this for you!!!! Terrible customer service liers and shady just to make a buck! She is so stressed and has health issues that has increased over this nightmare.T hey might be a few bucks cheaper when your looking but theres a price to pay with customer service! We are happy to say we just purchased a 2018 traverse from Rick at Sunnyside 😀
Second time I bought a truck from Firment and wont be the last. Martie, James, and Brett where very helpfull. This was my first lease purchase, they actually made the experience an enjoyable one. There was no pressure, fair dealing, explained everything very well and even removed hardware from my old truck. This deffianly should be your first stop!
After doing research online, we chose to purchased a 2014 Chevy Volt at Joe Firement Chevy. When we arrived we me with our sales person who was friendly. We had the Friends and Suppliers pricing and was beaten by the sales person, which we appreciated. The process of going through and purchasing the vehicle seemed to take a long time with miscommunications between the sales person and fiance manger: Ex. we were placing a down payment of the vehicle that was written down, but completely missed. In total we were at the dealership for roughly 5 hours before being able to drive off in our car. After we left dealer is where things went wrong. After we returned home we learned that the Friends and Suppliers discount also offers 0% financing that we were qualified for and entitled to. Within 24 hours we contacted our sales person to get this resolved. The sales person had very poor followup and communication with us and we had to reach out multiple times to attempt to get resolution. Once we had a plan in place, the dealership failed to execute it and we, the customer, were blamed and saddled with loss.It appears that once the car is off the lot, the dealership does not care about continued support of its customers. This issue could have easily been resolved, instead we are losing money and completely unsatisfied with the way this was handled. We would never recommend this dealership to anyone for purchasing any vehicle.
Purchased a 2015 Chevy Silverado. We are return customers because we love this dealer. The Costco program did not send us here but we came back anyway because we have a trust level. Our salesperson, Sixto Torres, was great when we purchased our last two vehicles. There are no high pressure sale tactics. The owner even greeted us and everyone made sure we had what we needed before we drove away. I believe that Firment will back their product and work. Everyone was nice and the facilities are awesome. Were glad we went to Joe Firment!
Ughh. Shopping for a car Christmas week. Every dealership we went to a salesperson or greeter came right up to us and asked if we needed help. Not here. Wee had to walk to the back to find someone. Then the rep tried to sell us into the car she wanted instead of taking our buying clues on a totally different car. Thats ok though Sunnyside Chevy took great care of us.
Scott Childers and Joe Woods were both wonderful to deal with. I felt so comfortable dealing with them and there was no run around or shadiness that Ive definitely encountered in the past! I Test drove a LT2 Chevy Camero (see photos) and Im really sad that I couldnt comfortable fit in the vehicle with my size.
I recently purchased a Chevy Traverse at Joe Firment Chevrolet, Tracy, was my salesperson, she was very knowledgeable & her customer service was excellent. She is an asset to Joe Firment, I also would like to appreciate Darrin in finance as well. It was a pleasure doing business with you guys.
Very unorganized the day I went to pick up my vehicle I purchased. The car was not cleaned or filled up and the paperwork had not been prepared. I drove 4 hours to get there and spent 4 hours trying to get finished and out of there . Staff was friendly but took a long time to get done.
My whole family buys there cars from here. Anytime I have an issue or a complaint and have to go to service department I hope Kathy is working. Kathy is always pleasant, helpful, professional. When things were forgotten like my front plates put on..she did it herself. Thanks again Kathy!
Service was good once you enter the facility. Good lounge to wait for your car. One problem I found has to do with the website. The website offers the capability to make a service appointment online. The only problem I encountered was not getting a response which made me pick up the phone and call and then make the appointment. My online inquiry was either not received or not checked.
If I could leave this place a negative rating I would in a heart beat. I made the mistake of buying my car from these people and got tricked into buying the extended warranty which apparently covers nothing when I told it covers bumper to bumper. I’ve had work done on my car by them for the same thing 3 times within a year and they keep making me pay. these people are a fuc**** joke. do not go to them! save your money and go elsewhere.
I have been bringing my Chevrolet impala here for a couple years, I had my oil changed here on June 14th and on June 19th my car is leaking oil. I took it back to here and I was told my oil filter gasket needed to be replaced. Now I wasnt leaking any oil before this oil change so why wouldnt this repair shop honor the fact they should fix this issue because clearly oil was not leaking before they changed my oil. All they did was ask for more money.
It Waz great I had a problem with car went talked to service manger and he quickly fix the problem . He a stand up guy he gave me his word and kept it. I went back after a lil time had passed and he still fixed the problem . So thank u Bob for helping me ur a great person thank u. Bill
Sales man was helpful however im extremely dissatisfied I purchased a 2010 equinox they say they thoroughly check them before selling this is not true the air compressor was fried so no a c and a fuel injector was bad none of which they would guarantee only one month of the purchase date. I will never buy another used vehicle from here again.
We had an awesome experience. This was our first time. Our service rep was Jennifer Stotzer and she couldnt have been more nicer or more helpful. She was great and extremely fast! We also received a tire quote as well.We chose Joe Firment because you donate a car to our parish, St Mary of the Immaculate Conception, Avon. GENEROUS!!!Also, Jim Firment is a member of a committee I belong to at UCP of Greater Cleveland, to help high school students with disabilities to find jobs in Lorain County. Jim is always there for us and is GENEROUS with his time. Our first time was awesome and we look forward to coming back! Thank You!Greg and Christine ZarykSheffield Village
I recently purchased a 2007 Honda Accord from this dealership. The car appeared to be in immaculate shape when I drove it off the lot. However, about three days after I purchased the vehicle noticeable white streaks appeared on the drivers side door. After waxing it myself, I realized the dealership had covered these up. This would have obviously effected the price of the vehicle and my negotiations with the salesman. I also had to immediately get the tires replaced on this car, as the tires on the vehicle at the time of the purchase where a saftey hazard(which again I didnt know about until after the fact). When I contacted the dealership to express my displeasure they pleaded ignorance and acted like they didnt know what I was talking about. This dealership choose to hold back some important details about the car I purchased from them, and I would not trust them in the future.
Had a service done on my vehicle for oil change and rotation and I asked for an overall inspection as my warranty was coming up and I did not receive it and I am not too happy with the work completed even when asked at service bay to have them check it but nothing states that it was
JOE FIRMENT CHEVY HAS ALWAYS BEEN EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL IN BOTH THE SERVICE AND SALES DEPARTMENTS. THAT IS WHY I HAVE PURCHASED SEVERAL SILVERADO TRUCKS ( 2001, 2003, 2008, 2014 ) AND I JUST ORDERED A 2021 SILVERADO FROM JOE FIRMENT.I WONT GO TO ANY OTHER DEALERSHIP FOR NEW VEHICLES AND SERVICE !!!!!

2022-03-08I drove 45 minutes to go to this dealership based on their amazing employees. Brian Lilly was absolutely phenomenal in helping me with my trade and getting a brand new car. Brian went above and beyond and I am so thankful to have found such an amazing dealership!! I wish I could give them 10 stars :)

2022-04-25Absolutely horrible experience. We are more than an hour away. We saw a car we liked and called to make sure it was still available and if we could come in and see it. We told the sales rep - Don - that we were coming from more than an hour away. He told us it was on a different lot and he would have it brought over and ready for us to see when we arrived. When we got there Don told us that the car was actually up in Michigan but he had something else pretty close to what we were looking for. It was not at all what we were looking for. We were lied to intentionally just to get us in the door to try and make a sale. I was so upset that I even spoke with Dons manager who clearly didnt care. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING HERE! Very dishonest. Sadly, the typical car salesperson stereotype.

2022-06-06James Wood is an amazing sales consultant. I went to several other dealerships and no one treated me with as much respect as James. He was very friendly and he didnt pressure me into any sales or leases which is quite refreshing. I was able to lease a new Silverado and I couldnt be happier. I will definitely be doing business at this dealership again and hope that you are able to keep James happy there so I can see him for my new Chevy in a few years.

2022-03-25Told me it was a five hour job, charged me for a five hour job yet called me in three hours to pick it up, could have at least kept it the five hours so I thought it was that long. Added on repairs to the estimate without calling first. Gave me a 2 year warranty on $198 parts yet labor was almost $1000, boy what a deal. Way too expensive, should have at least got an autograph photo from Mark Wahlberg for what they charge for labor lol. I thought it might be pricey because the dealership was owned by a celebrity but thought Id give them a try and the benefit of the doubt but boy I wasnt wrong, it was worse than I expected. Will not be back there again and will not recommend them to others.

2022-04-11Called 3 times, hit option 1 for service and Barbara answers the phone. Asked her if they serviced diesels and she couldnt tell me. Im sorry, but if youre answering the service calls you should know whether or not you service diesels. The 1st two calls she transferred me to a voice-mail, so yes, the 3rd time I called I was a little upset and after thinking I was put on hold, I said a few things and Barbara heard me and got all upset. Well, maybe you should know your job if youre going answer the service calls. It was a very simple question, Do you service diesels? So I called Serpentine Chevy in Westlake and the young lady was able to answer my question right away.

2022-06-27Brian Lilly made the sale of my new vehicle very easy . Everyone that I dealt with was very nice and I highly recommend the dealership to anyone..
