Marions Piazza in other cities:
In town for a wrestling tournament and some friends recommended trying this place because it had great pizza. Boy were they right. The pizza was delicious. The crust was nice and thin and crispy and the toppings were tasty. They do have beer and regular beverages to enjoy with your pizza. If you’ve never tried this pizza before, like myself before today, you need to give it a try.
Surveys say this is the best pizza place in town. I really like their thin crust sausage pizza. The meatball sub is very good and they have salads my wife enjoys. The service is quick and friendly. The murals on the walls and the sky light are added pluses. They also have a game room.
Worst Marions aroundHas sign posted on the front door cash only and the ATM inside was out of money and no one knew of it before I informed them and all the manager could say is the credit card machines were down. You figured you would make sure you would have at least your ATM up and running that place was walking business truly sad.
Old school pizza placeThis place has been in business a long time and is a local favoriteThey have a thin crust that is hard to beat. The topings are always fresh and plentifulGreat place to bring the family. Plenty of seating cold beer and softdrinks and ausome appetizers
As always, my favorite pizza place shines! Ordered a large, super cheese with green olives instead of pepperoni, baked in the old oven. Delicious as can be! Ate there. Fast, friendly service. Place was clean and practices masking and social distancing. Highly recommended!!! The BEST pizza around! 🍕🍕🍕
Love love Marion’s Pizza … But the for the last few years I’ve noticed a change… And I actually couldn’t pinpoint what it was… I was there last night to celebrate with my dad’s 80th birthday and when I placed an order, I noticed that the pizza sauce had a different label, for years since I was a little kido, it was always Hunts tomato paste… This was an off brand tomato paste with the white label with red lettering… Definitely was not Hunts, so, I figured it out it’s the pizza sauce..... please got back to Hunts..!! It makes the world of difference...!! Love Marian’s Pizza, that’s why I gave it four stars
2/2/2020 Everyone seems to love Marions Piazza, and I think its just okay! The service is always friendly and the pizza/food is always fresh. I think the subs and salads are good and the atmosphere is old school retro! This place rocks out for large groups, lots of space here for bigger parties. Marions also has a drink station separate from the food line which is interesting. They offer cold drinks and cold draft/bottled beers. I think the prices here are fair. (TiP#1) Look inside of local coupon magazines for Marions Pizza Specials!(TiP#2) Marions in July offers a Anniversary pizza specials with super pricing deals. Please hit the (like) if you did. TY!
We dined in & the pizza was great as always but the busy-bodied woman that was working at the counter refused to give me to-go cups until I told her what they were for…what did she think they were for? We had a pitcher of soda that we had barely drank. Then as I was throwing my trash away I threw about 3 ice cubes away that were in my cup & got scolded by her for “throwing liquids in the trash”. Ma’am. I am an adult & you need to relax.
$50.70 for 2 large pizzas and 2 salads? Ridiculous. The fact both pizzas were ordered to have extra cheese and only got it on one? Even more ridiculous. Dont get me wrong, whoever was manning the ovens definitely knew what they were doing. I ordered the grilled chicken and they couldnt even put cheese on that? Oh, and not to mention, what type of pizza place doesnt offer Bleu cheese salad dressing? Ill only go back when they start offering free reach around.
The food was good as always but man....someone needs to tell the guy at the counter calling out the ticket numbers that he doesnt have to put the mic in his mouth and yell. Me and the family have been going to this location for decades and none of us remember those speakers ever being so loud we couldnt carry on a conversation. Everything else was great, but this thing alone was almost enough to ruin the experience. Get that guy to take about a half step back from the mic and not scream into it, and well be back to 5*
Love their Supreme pizza. Excellent. Their tuna boats arent what they use to be. Have asked for extra sauce and extra cheese on the tuna boat, but the last 3 orders the tuna boats did NOT have the extra cheese and sauce I asked for. Next time I will try a different Marions.
Pizza was good. Order line is a little crazy and confusing. Had a rehearsal dinner there with reserved tables. The party room was absolutely insane and we couldnt even enjoy each other due to extremely loud parties and screaming kids. Didnt expect much but definitely not all that. Pretty insane. We also had to ask for every single thing we needed. Ordered salad and we realized they didnt give us forks, didnt offer napkins, plates or anything. We had to keep running up there. They just hand you the pizza and its good luck ask us if you need anything else. Again, pizza was very good though 😋
Delicious pepperoni pizza! Has been our favorite place since we moved to Dayton 1986. You order at the counter and then sit at a table until your order is ready. So, this is not traditional table service. Soft drinks, beer, and wine are available by the glass/pitcher at the counter, along with larger quantities (like 6-packs) in the cooler. Family friendly restaurant and has a game room for kids. Large dining room has areas that can be used for private parties. The older stores have photo galleries showing famous actors/actresses who performed at the now defunct Kenley Players who came to Marions for a meal.
One of the best pizzas around. Theyre thin which I normally dont like, but this one is too die for with their ground up sausage. Everyone I know loves their pizzas more than any other pizza place. They are personally my second favorite out of all of the pizza places around.
As soon as I arrived I recognized the loud and rancid environment. Not only this, but the food was bland. Their spaghetti was steaming in the middle, thus proving my hypothesis of it being microwaved. In addition the meatballs were cold and frozen, the salad was soaked as well and the water was unfiltered tap.
I been eating Marions Pizza for over 15 years, pretty much the best pizzas around the Dayton, Ohio area. I just call it in, they tell me when its ready and by the time I get there, its done, I pay for it and leave to go back home. I really never had a bad pizza from Marions Pizza. They cut their meat pizzas into cute little squares, not sure if they do that with all of their pizzas. 4 stars I rate the Beavercreek Marions Pizza joint. Staff could smile more and seem grumpy a lot. Thats why I deducted 1 star from their rating.
I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while now! And yesterday, it finally happened! When I was living in St. Louis, I became addicted to St. Louis style super thin crust pizza. I was told, this would be the place to come and find something similar.I gave them a call and placed an order about an hour in advance. Two 13 inch pizzas. One with pepperoni and mushrooms and the other with pepperoni, sausage and bacon. My order was ready when I arrived and everything was just as we asked.Let me tell you, they really load the pizza with toppings! The triple meat pizza was definitely my favorite! I could eat that all day every day! The sausage had great flavor! It had a spice that seemed a little different than what I normally expect, but it was wonderful!Just a heads up that they cut the pizzas with super tiny Square and rectangle slices. I personally think this is perfect considering I have kids who don’t really need a very big piece. Also, it made me feel less guilty as I went back for more and more! LOL.The only “problem” was that the sausage on the three meat pizza very easily crumbled and fell off as we picked it up. The sausage comes in teeny tiny pieces and since it wasn’t the bottom ingredient, it didn’t have cheese to adhere to. If that makes any sense....
Service was fast and friendly. You either love or hate the pizza here. Based on how busy it was during the lunch hour, people LOVE Marions. Seems like a nice place to have a party. Nice that the bar/drinks are separate from the rest of the order line. Also, great idea having beer to go!
It is a nice resturant with good taste pizza and sandwiches.Staff are mostly freindly.Seems the old lady behind the drink bar was not happy to work tonight. She was rude and continued to talk behind the customer with the another employee! Made me uncomfortable. The rest was ok.
I ordered for pick up when I arrived they had given my order to someone else . So then I had to wait while they redone my order ! I was on a time schedule for work which is why I pre-ordered for pick up ! I wasnt even offered a discount or a free drink or anything needless to say I wasnt very happy it wasnt my mistake it was their mistake !
Great customer service with delicious food. Can be busy however they are able to get the food out quickly. Lovely decor with an abundance of seating. Multiple large seating that can be reserved for a small price. There are multiple arcade games for all ages that can buy time for the delicious pizzas.
Very light sauce, which was something no one could have known or told us about. The toppings were quite black. Oregano was sporadic. Sometimes my one inch by one inch bites they cut tasted of only oregano, others didnt have a bit. I can live with or without, just prefer to be consistent. The guy on the phone was mediocre at best with his people skills. I asked if they had a meat lovers or something and he said no but Ill put sausage, bacon, pep and ham pretty curtly. My husband doesnt complain often but he said the staff member seemed annoyed about something. Maybe me not knowing they didnt deliver and asking if they had specials. No clue. Between the quality of the food, to the staff, we wont order them again. If I wanna eat that quality of pizza Ill get a take and bake from Krogers. Glad we didnt eat in. Im giving it a 2 because it was edible and I didnt have to cook dinner.
Counter service only, fast service, reasonable prices and the best pizza around. The Deluxe salad I ordered was chilled, fresh and tasty. We also ordered a 13 Deluxe with extra cheese and without mushrooms, very tasty. Interesting fact, they serve Coke and Pepsi fountain soft drinks!
13 inch Marions Deluxe - Over priced and bland. The sausage soaks the pepperoni and shields it from heat during baking. This leaves the pepperoni under cooked and soaked in grease. And you cant really enjoy the sausage either because somehow, defying physics, its dry as a fart. It crumbles off of each slice onto the plate like a nature valley bar. The wet cardboard crust is nothing to write home about. Its hard to judge its consistency because they cut the pizza into 1 inch squares and it gets lost in the grease. It definitely could use some salt at least. Unfortunately, the peppers were visible at best. You cant taste or feel them in your mouth, which is a shame because I was desperately searching for texture.I come from a town with an annual Pizza Challenge where each local shop attempts to establish pizza supremacy every year. I weep for the Dayton area. It blows my mind when I hear locals praise Marions as the holy Grail of pizza. You have no idea.
This is a tricky review because Marion’s has sentimental value to me, and it’s hard to be objective in my review. So I’m just going to throw objectivity out the window and give them 5 stars. Marion’s pizza is unique and this restaurant has truly stuck to its guns over the years. If you live in the Dayton area and haven’t tried Marion’s, you need to fix that ASAP! I highly recommend ordering the Super Cheese pizza—anything else is a waste of time!As for a specific review of this location, there is plenty of seating and the food comes out quick. The food is consistent between visits and has never disappointed.
This is good local pizza. Thin crunchy crust. They have a nice variety of toppings. They have other pizza related items as well. The place is large and has a big parking lot but it still gets really crowded. Alot of parties and school related events happen here. The wait can get long. The workers are usually friendly and helpful.
I usually dont write reviews these days, but had to on this occasion. I have never had Marions before and never will again after the experience I just had at lunch. Without a doubt, the worst pizza I have ever eaten since coming to Beavercreek and must throw out a buyer beware. A small cheese and pepperoni with extra cheese (supposedly) that was not even cooked, had minimal cheese and I literally am at home now feeling like it may be making a second appearance. In one word, horrible. There was no taste, for paying for extra cheese, the whole thing was not even covered, barely baked - I dont see what the big deal is about this place. Going to Cousin Vinnys from here forth - their pie is always cooked thoroughly, heavy on the queso and a great price.
The place is ok. Typical pizza place. My only complaint is how close together they seem to want you to sit. They cram 8 chairs into a 6 person table and the tables are really close together on top of it. Other than that, the pizza is a Dayton original and its pretty good and they arent skimpy with the toppings. They also have a decent little game room for the kids.
Our one and only visit. Old decor looks like its still in the early 80s. Rude employees mad at cleaning up after parties slamming chairs around and scowling. Weird order system where you order food and drinks separate and pay separately with no refills on soft drinks. Really??!! $1.75 for a drink and no refills?? Is this place in the twilight zone? Food pretty bad quality. Stacks of pizzas sitting half prepared waiting for people to order and finish. This makes sense time-wise, but ends up causing a dried out pizza with little sauce. Gross. All in all 2 stars is being generous.
I ordered a vegitarian pizza, and unfortunately didnt look at it until I got home.It was an olive pizza with a few mushrooms and a few onions. The green and black olives were so thick, I couldnt see anything was under them. I would have taken it back, but was so hungry and so tired from working outside.I ate it because it was food, not because it was particularly tasty.Tried them once, now I know better.
A great hometown favorite. Dining room is large, and the pizza is really tasty if youre into thin crust. They do offer beer both for dine in and carryout, although the selections arent the same since you cannot drink carry out in the dining room. This is a great place for meetups since there is a lot of space and plenty of large tables that seat 6-8 people. The only downside is that its a bit expensive at around $14 for a one topping large pizza, which will feed only 2 average adults since its thin crust.
One of the best pizza places in the dayton area. Their pizza is thin crust only, if you are craving deep dish pizza this place is not for you. I recommend the super cheese (the deluxe with extra cheese) or pepperoni and sausage. Also make sure to get a bag of Mike sells potato chips.
We arrived and found a crowd, still Marions handled the crowd and our wait was reasonably short. The pizza and dinner salad with their signature Italian dressing as always was great. Price and taste at this chain never disappoints. If you want an interesting taste change order your favorite pizza with double sause.
I really enjoy Marions. Im one of those folks that think they are the best local Dayton pizza. I love how things the crust is, how much of each ingredient they put on, that bit of salt that they put on the undersize of the crust and I swear they have the best sausage going. They can be a fun place to eat-in, with the decorations recalling Italy and drinks both in bottles and on tap. They also have a small arcade that the kids really enjoy.
For a thin crust pizza, its pretty good. I like the idea they hire young people. The service has always good to me. Service can be slow at times, because the place is always busy. Really the only pizza place in town that can accommodate large groups. As a matter of fact, its great for large groups.
Where to start? Went here after girls softball game. First time here after moving to area fairly recently. Ability to take credit cards died while we were paying, so was able to pay for pizza then they told us cash only for drinks, so had to get waters after telling kids they could have a drink. Wished it wouldve died before paying for pizza, wouldve gone elsewhere. Waited long time for pizza, several numbers after ours called. Finally went to ask about it, and because of the issue with the credit card reader it looked like no one had payed, so they just put the pizza on a warmer without calling our number. Complained to manager and got some 25% off coupons. Pizza quality not horrible but not great, and not worth the price. Two stars only for the manager trying to give us something in return for the poor experience, but even with 25% off not worth coming back.
The pizza was pretty good, but it was so expensive! $16.54 for two topping large pizza. Call me cheap, but I could get three frozen pizzas of similar quality for that price. We went at 6pm on a Tuesday, and it wasnt very busy. Played an arcade game while we waited for the pizza to finish, which was neat, because arcades arent very common. I think we waited maybe 10-15 minutes, which is pretty average pizza cook time.In conclusion: Good pizza. Not worth the price.
One of the best pizza places in the Dayton area. I used to go here all the time when I lived in Dayton, now its always a must whenever Im in town to visit. They have grown up a lot since I was a kid and even take credit/debit now. However, the great tasting pepperoni or deluxe has NEVER skimped in quality. Again, this is always on the list to go to when I come to Dayton.
First time trying Marions. Ordered carry out: a deluxe and a two topping. Staff was friendly but Im confused by the high ratings. And that it seems to be a Dayton institution. If I want to pay high prices, I want more than marginal bar pizza. Stick to Deweys at this price point or go to Harrigans (legitimately enjoyable bar pizza)
Marions is a Dayton area staple but in my opinion the pizza is average at best. They only offer the thin, crispy cracker-like crust so if you like your pizza doughy or thick, this isnt for you. It is a good spot for birthday parties or team celebrations though because they have sections of the restaurant that you can reserve.
The pizza is pretty good, but it looks like a fancy Tostinos pizza. It was frustrating how there are only 2 sizes of pizza, but the large well fed two people. Finally, it is annoying and inefficient that the register for food payment and drink purchase are separate; you have to pay for your pizza then get into a separate line to buy a soda... good pizza overall but poor restaurant design.
I know this is supposed to be a local favorite, but I just dont get it. The way they cut the pizza is weird. The supreme is just a heaping pile of ingredients. You cant even really taste the pizza at that point. And then the speakers keep chirping loudly overhead with orders. Meh.
Marions is a Dayton classic!! If you love thin crust pizza, you must try Marions. I have been going since I was a little girl and love that I have been able to share Marions with my own boys. My favorite is pepperoni, mushrooms and sausage - and getting all 4 corners!! Seriously great pizza!!!
Marions is pretty much as it was in the 50s, but dont be fooled by the cheesy decor...the pizza is great! Quirky ordering is what youll first incur. Order pizza at one counter and drinks at the other. The circular pizzas are cut in bite sized squared...easy for eating whether you are young or old. Marions does have a large selection of drinks in the cooler and an old fashioned game room. Great place for families to come enjoy some uniquely cut pizza...a Beavercreek tradition.
Marions has good pizza and a large dining area. Beer and soda can be had it pitchers. They have a small game room. The negative is they have too many chairs at the tables and you have to move them to sit down. The pizza isnt cheap but it is good thin crust pizza with quality ingredients.. that they dont skimp on.
Was so sadly disappointed. Heard over and over again that Marions was a delicous Dayton staple. I was less than impressed. I got a half sub sandwich with soggy dough and lunch meat that was still cold in the middle. We also got a large ham pizza that pretty much tasted like cardboard. Ordering is also very confusing if this is your first visit and the people working never bothered to ask if we needed help and seemed peeved that they had to explain it to us. Maybe its just this location, but Ill probably never visit again. Honestly Papa Johns is better, faster, and cheaper.
Ive never been a big fan of Marions. The pizza is ok but I dont care for the meat pellet toppings. Today we had a work event there. I decided on the fish sandwich. I dont recommend it... Ever... Ever. Four frozen, low quality fish sticks on a bun. Thats it. Couple packets of Kraft tarter sauce. No tableware, not even plastic ones, so I had to spread it with my finger.
Great, great pizza. Staff was overall friendly and helpful. The place is always, always packed but they have a ton of seating and they did a fantastic job of directing the lines out of the main walkway areas. Parking is atrocious though. They are located basically in a shopping center, though they are a freestanding building, a Krogers, bank and misc. Other stores right there and sharing parking. So be prepared to get there early on weekends or to walk.
Pricy. 55$ for three of their large pizzas (that are the size of most medium pizzas). Toppings are generous though! The mushrooms are very obviously canned which is a let down for me, I dont like rubber on my pizza. (had it been fresh mushrooms it would have all 5 stars)
Used to be a great place with the best pizza. Placed our usual favourite order in and was shocked how bad it was! Called immediately and was treated very poorly by the Manager. In the end we were not offered a new pizza as I requested but a 45 percent discount on our next visit. I will Not go into how bad this pizza was but suffice to say they combined and old deluxe with the cold raw add on Ingrediants needed for our order. They just threw them on top of an all ready cooked pizza! I told them to shove theyre coupon! We will NOT EVER SPEND ANOTHER PENNY THERE AT MARIONS ON FAIRFIELD RD BEAVER CREEK again. If you had same experience with them..... Just dont go there anymore. Ask Blockbuster Video how they feel about this. They had that Im to big to care attitude and they are Out of business here because of it. Just saying...
Been coming here my whole life and iv never seen them update this place. Not only that but Service gets worse with each visit. Didnt allow my friend and I to each use a coupon when theres literally tens of thousands printed. Ordering your drinks separate never made since to me and not allow refills is about as cheap as you can be when fountain drinks cost next to nothing. I reccomend coming here if you have a coupon because the pizza does taste good but otherwise its over priced and cheaply run.
So I feel bad leaving a bad review, but Im annoyed. We had never had Marions before so we wanted to try it (especially after our friends hyped it up). So we go and tell the cashier that we had never been there before and she seems off put by it and just tells us about the sizes of the pizza. Fine, whatever. So we order it and then when we try to order drinks she said we had to get into a DIFFERENT line to get them (why cant we just pay at the counter?) Once we had our drinks and sat down we were both pretty disappointed. The food was good, I would probably just get it to go in the future so I dont have to deal with the dysfunction and staff. The busser that helped us was nice though, so maybe we just interacted with the wrong workers before hand. Either way I dont think well eat there again.
This #1 pizza in Dayton should be competing with frozen pizza brands. The quality is nonexistent in a buffet-like environment. Im sure the ratings originate from Sunday afternoon outings with the family. I love pizza but I would not even serve this to my worst enemy.
Marions super cheese pizza is the beginning and end of the food culture in Dayton, OH. To paraphrase NASCAR legend Ricky Bobby, if you dont like Marions super cheese pizza then funk you! I wish you could reply to reviews on here. Low ratings folks, what did you order? Was it the Super cheese, or did you cheap out? If you think its too expensive, consider how many people you are feeding off of it. A large feeds a minimum of 2 people, but thats just because of how hard it is to stop eating. And, the tiny little slices will trick you into thinking one more wont hurt, over and over and over again. So its $20 now go to a burger joint and get 2 combos about the same $20. Which did you enjoy more? Rhetorical question! As the famous Greek philosopher Kwitcherbichin said, you get what you pay for
Pizza is ok. Dont know why selected as best pizza in Dayton. There are others that tates better. Also, be prepared to pay for refills on drinks that are charged separate. Small cups (12 oz) not enough for one meal. A, pitcher (jar) is ok for a group, but for 2 is too much.
Oh my gosh. Firstly, this was probably the worst tasting pizza Ive ever eaten; it tasted like store bought. Secondly, the set up is very confusing, order in one line, grab a drink in another, seatyourself, get up, get your food. Lastly, never once was I greeted, even though I passed by employees and appeared very confused as to how to get food there. I wasnt even thanked on my way out the door either, again passing by employees. First time eating there and will be last! No kidding, this was so bad I felt compelled to write this!
It is approximately pizza. Dayton area residents are apparently fans of it for nostalgia reasons, likely from a time when no other pizza existed in the area. A transplant to the region may notice, however, that it is cheap toppings, relatively bland tomato sauce, and cardboard disc disguised as a pizza.
Not surprisingly we stop by Marions everytime we are in the area. Took a fresh fully cooked pie- froze it right away. Baked it a week later at 425 degrees in my convection oven for 17 minutes. Next time we will freeze two! Even reheated it was excellent. MikeSells is the one for me
This location and chain for that matter are just terrific. Talk about something that is unique to the dayton area, what a keep sake. My family immediate and extended have frequented these restaurants since I can first recollect. Often having celebrations for life and passings, monumental achievements and anniversaries..etc. When I enter the Beavercreek location my memory is flooded with all these great times and cherished memories. Now the food..you just cant beat it, i suggest a deluxe or pepperoni pizza in the old oven , or grandmas favorite a deluxe with extra anchovies and a cold adult beverage to wash it down.lol.just the best thin crust youll ever have. Great food , Great customer service, just a great Dayton Area tradition.
This is a local pizza place that is well known for their sausage pizza. There are a few shops around the Dayton area. This is a low key restaurant with open, cafeteria like seating. You come in and place your order and get a seat. This chain ONLY ACCEPTS CASH. Most locations will have any ATM in the facility or just outside of their main entrance.

2021-10-27The pizza is fair and served cold, here, you have to pay full price for a soda refill in a cup that they sold you prior, so theyre gladly to refill the cup you bring to them that youve already paid for for the exact same price that they sold it to you when you didnt have a cup, its a rip-off on the soda refills, thats why I give it to two stars if the owner would like to reach out and tell me hes changed that policy I can always come back and edit this review, its not just me thats paying for it its everyone else also. Next time Ill just bring my own soda. Its not a great place for pizza or anything else.

2022-03-22Visited from out of State and my bf brought me here. I don’t like pork but this was the best pizza I have ever had in the US. Went last October and I am still craving their pizza. Would 100% recommend it.

2021-10-23Very good pizza. Pretty quick with the food. They got quite busy after 5:00, so I would recommend going around 4 if you can. The kids (and a couple of adults loved the toy vending machines)

2022-06-05Good pizza, good people, and a wonderful environment. They have more than pizza, pasta, sandwiches and salad. So you should be good no matter your diet. This is a local place, with only a handful of locations, but I never have anything to complain about when I go hear to grab some grub.

2022-05-08Marions has always been our go-to crowd pleaser for large gatherings if we were too busy to do it at our house. The pizza is always great, and the variety of toppings are sure to cover everyones favorites (including pineapple!). The arcade room is a hit with the kids for birthday parties. The salads are also fantastic.

2022-06-24We had a team lunch there today. We were able to order ahead and our meals were ready upon arrival. The manager allowed us to sit in a reserved area so we could be comfortable and not disturb the other patrons.

2022-05-29Stopped in while shopping and decided to try it. It was great. Of course it reminded me of Cassanos pizza. The Pizza was great and the people were great. Will definitely be back if Im in the area again.
