Hiring Marcus as our photographer was the best decision we made for our wedding! We met with him over a coffee right after we got engaged - he was prepared to share sample photos from other weddings he shot and also took notes based on our needs/wants for our wedding. We were very impressed with Marcuss professionalism and passion right away!We hired Marcus to shoot our engagement photos, wedding rehearsal and wedding day photos. He managed to deliver 200 photos from our engagement session and over 2000 from our rehearsal and wedding weekend - with all the rights!We met with Marcus over dinner to discuss our wedding day schedule. He also asked us for a list of all the photos we wanted him to capture - we even emailed him a few ideas! Marcus recommended that we ask a wedding guest to assist with coordinating church photos with our families and bridal party. We gave her the list we gave Marcus and were able to get all our photos in the church within 25 minutes and stayed right on-schedule!My husband is not particularly fond of getting his picture taken, so Marcuss ability to capture candid photos was on-point! I know some photographers dress more casually to be comfortable, but Marcus dressed nicer than come of our guests! He interacted with our friends and family as if he knew them. Many of our wedding guests complimented us on hiring him!Marcus delivered our photos within a couple weeks of our wedding on lovely custom carved wooden thumb-drives in matching boxes - we were blown away. Marcus was the photographer for our wedding in May. We originally experienced his work firsthand at my sister-in-laws wedding a few years ago and we were very impressed not only with his photos but with his professionalism as well. Because of this, he was the first and only photographer we considered for our big day!Not only did he travel a few hours (for both our engagement session and wedding), he also was there for our wedding the entire day - from 10AM when I was getting my hair done until the end of the reception at 11PM. He truly captured every moment worth capturing and more. We can not recommend Marcus enough - hes a great person to work with and his work is phenomenal! Thank you, Marcus!

My family and I have hired Marcus on several occasions, for both personal and business photographs. During all of these projects Marcus has both personable and professional in all elements that you would want and expect from an accomplished photographer. What truly sets Marcus apart is his ability to not only produce the classic and traditional photos, but also capture the casual and natural photos that occur along the way. From all of the shoots we have used Marcus for, we consider the organic photos that he captures to be our most cherished. As they candidly encapsulate the physical moment in time blended with our feelings right then and there. Many of these amazing photos hang all over our house today.We will continue to hire Marcus for any future needs and will promote his services to both business partners and family & friends.

My wife and I employed Marcus and his fabulous team to shoot our wedding. Apart from their friendliness and love for pizza, they are incredible artists. Not once did we have a single worry or reservation. They took our suggestions and listened, guiding us where appropriate but always wanting to enhance what we wanted. Marcus has a talent for capturing the essence of a moment and Jon will help you relive your event with his talent for video making. I cannot say enough good things about Marcus and his team. I would recommend them to anyone.

When planning for a wedding, in our eyes, the most important vendor is the photographer as the photos will last a lifetime. We hired Marcus to shoot our engagement/wedding photos. He captured the beauty of our day with a nice blend of posing and candid shots. Some of my favorite photos are the ones I didnt even know he was taking. Due to his experience and attention to detail, he produced so many quality images for us that we had a hard time deciding on which ones to place into our memory album. He was personable and calm the whole day. At any point if I/we had a question or comment for Marcus he was never more than a call/email away and was always very prompt and professional about answering. He is creative, fun, enthusiastic and so passionate about what he does! We absolutely loved working with him!!

Marcus was with us for our engagement and wedding photos. He was the perfect mix of openminded and helpful. Marcus helped us come up with some great ideas for our photos that incorporated our whole group and the scenery for some amazing shots. He was always professional and a true pleasure to work with. Marcus has photographed my family twice this year. Last summer he photographed my husband, my daughter, and me. This spring he did a large family session with 7 adults and 4 kids (all under the age of four!). He did an amazing job both times! Marcus worked well with our kids. The photographs look so natural and captured our day to day lives. I have received many compliments on them. I really cherish the work Marcus did for us!

We had Marcus take our engagement photos, and he was such a pleasure to work with. He took our ideas, ran with them, and transformed them into unbelievable photos. He gave us great direction while making the whole experience really comfortable and a lot of fun. We had a great time and ended up with amazing pictures.

Marcus Marter Photography was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day!The day of our wedding Marcus and Jon began early in the morning with us making sure to capture every moment of our day. They brought not only talent with them but also a sense of calmness and such organization that it made the day flow so smoothly. They were beyond professional and had to not only put up with excruciating heat but also a power outage due to such heat. The photos taken during the power outage are amazing and truly capture the fun of our day.They stayed with us throughout our entire wedding day and felt more like guest and friends by the end of our wedding than our photographer/videographer. They even gave us last minute photos as they were packing to leave! I knew at the end of our wedding night that I was already in love with my photos due to the fact of how amazing they made us feel on such a perfect day.After receiving our photos I am beyond amazed and excited about the quality and quantity of what we received! Marcus displayed nothing but the upmost level of professionalism during our family photos. We had young children that were hard to settle down but he found so many ways to capture their laughter and their joy. He was skilled and getting the family photos you want without them staged. His demeanor was warm, easy to be around and not imposing, yet he was able to get what he wanted from us. The children felt comfortable with him immediately, as did we. I would highly recommend his services for any of your photography needs.
