Omg. What can I say? Service is definitely lousy. And definitely slow. Food is not fresh. Cashiers are rude and do not speak. I had to ASK how much I owed. THIS STORE IN WILLOUGHBY NEEDS SOME SERIOUS HELP!!! I spoke to the customer service dept at their corporate office directly after i shopped in this store. I was in my car sitting in their parking lot. I have not been this mad in a long time. Cashier that waited on me was just coming on duty commenting to another another that she wanted to go the fu.. home. PLEASE go home. You wouldnt be missed. What else can I say? I know.. mark PLEASE help. Your customers deserve better than what i got.
Terrible customer service. The employees are mostly standing around talking. I try to be understanding about retail but this was ridiculous. I had one item to buy and three cashiers refused to ring me out, while having a conversation or staring off into space. If you aren’t ringing, maybe don’t stand at the register.

I will bargain shop here and do find some items reasonably priced, but some are priced more than I can afford. Also, there are items that are past the expiration date, for example, Bobs Red Mill 7 grain pancake mix, all were expired. Marcs should price items on clearance that are close to expiring like other stores do such as Giant Eagle & Big Lots...

We live in Willowick and have been shopping at Marcs on Shoregate for years. I love Marcs. We recently tried the Willoughby location and were AMAZED! Very clean, super well stocked and they carry items that Shoregate does not. Aisles are wide and no boxes or stocking carts blocking the aisles. We can do all of our shopping here, no need to visit Giant Eagle any longer. Thank you for offering such a great place that caters to the needs of consumers!!
Was ok. Got what I needed. Only thing I think needs to be improved is the cashiers need to be a little more friendly. Other than that no complaints.
Store is clean. Good selection of items. The lay out doesnt seem to organized. Didnt see any employees out on the floor. My cashier was a young girl. She didnt talk to me, but she talked with the other employees while doing my transaction.
Dont buy alcohol during on or near the dinner hour at Marcs Willoughby.It took 15 minutes for a manager to come to the register to ring this transaction since the cashier was under age to ring an alcohol purchase.
Always love Marcs, this cashier however was so friendly with the customer in front of me and so cold to me, I wonder why this young man didnt like my skin color.
The cashiers and cart guys were super helpful. When the lines got long they were quick and efficient in getting customers out and had pleasant attitudes
Store is always well stocked and the staff is friendly! So glad I now have one closer to home!
A good grocery store with a wide variety of selections. I can usually find everything on my list. Like all grocery shopping, it is smart to have a good idea of what going prices are on goods. Some items are priced very reasonable and some are not. A big draw for me is the closeouts and overstock items that the store sells. I cant resist strolling through these aisles looking for bargains and I almost always find something!
Gr8 new location. Always a gr8 place to shop and find bargains. I have shipped at many different Macs locations. Of all the different Marc stores, this store was the absolute cleanest Marcs I have ever shopped at. The aisles were all neat, well stocked, and clean. The carts all worked were not bent nor had broken wheels. Of course the store had plenty bargain and closeout items.Lastly, all the employees were friendly, knowledgeable, willing to help.

This Marc’s is HUGE, in a good way. I love their closeout section. It has things I’ve never seen at a Marc’s before.. actual furniture. So I thought that was pretty cool. Everyone seemed friendly and the cashier was extremely helpful. I hope this Marc’s stays clean and organized. Too many of the other stores have that dirty, run down vibe to them.

This is such a nice store, I definitely enjoy shopping here.
This Marcs has a different vibe compared to other Marcs stores. Maybe because its new and it doesnt have that broken in feeling that the other stores have but this Marcs just doesnt feel the same. The employees are scarce so you wont run in to them unless you are at the checkout. It is very clean and organized even the closeouts section. The deli is understaffed as usual with Marcs but the people that work in the deli and this particular store are different in that they are trying to get your order and get it to you in a speedy manner, they are friendly, and the have excellent customer service skills. The prices at this Marcs seem to be a lot higher than the other stores, possibly because of the rent in that shopping center or something. They seem to carry more of certain items like pharmacy and cosmetics but less of the traditional food items. Their closeout section does have some nice stuff in it that I havent seen at other locations but I dont think it is as big as the other stores. Overall it is not the typical Marcs experience and not in a good way. I will probably bypass this location and use either the mentor ave or willowick stores from now on.
Pretty standard Marc’s experience. The shelves looked clean and organized. A lot of the employees were hanging out together and not really being helpful. The cashiers don’t really seem eager to greet you. The music/PA system was pretty loud. I kept getting shocked when I touched things, but I think that’s due to the new floors. Hopefully it stays clean and organized.
I love this close out store! If you see it, get it. The price is usually the best but if you hesitate, you may loose out.
What a nice new store. Plenty of lightning and nice wide aisles. There was more thing there than the normal Marcs I normally go to. Shelves were stocked. Nice employees working the registers. Will go out of our way to visit this store.
This is a newer location of Marcs. My first time at this store location today. Its terrific! Prices and value are always competitive at Marcs. The selection is wonderful on all of your favorite items and more.Its a big store, allow time to look around. 😊👍
Everything is clean and neat. Im just not used to the store. I had to ask where things are at because of different layout of what Im used to. The employees were polite and courteous. They dont have a pharmacy.
I went for chicken breast and turkey breast. They were sold out of chicken. I bought 2 packages of turkey breast for $7.99 each. When I got home and opened the packages to bake them they were rotten. They were NOT past the expiration date so they were clearly not handled properly. The smell was so foul that even the customer service rep almost gagged when she was processing the return.
Nice place to shop if Im in the area.Very clean with a different setup from the other Marcs Ive shopped.My little guy loves the train thats above the checkout counters.

The cashier gave us attitude for correcting her on the prices of the items we bought. She didn’t even read any of the tags and kept typing away. The manager had to fix it but when she was about to fix it the cashier voided the whole transaction. We started over and the cashier still messed up the prices so I had to go back inside and talk to customer service about it. The cashier name was Bridgette..she needs to be trained on register again. Courtney(supervisor) was very helpful with the situation. I found out another situation like this happened right after my transaction because the cashier was careless.

I visited this store today and had a basket of items and then came an announcement on the loud speaker that the system was down and they could only accept checks and cash.A lot of people had their social security or food stamps so had to leave their loaded carts and leave the store. What??..no generators to take over. Sad for a newly opened store.
Dont care for the new Marcs to much. Didnt have several of my favorite items in stock, tried to get help to get some of the items ordered for my next visit, stocking personnel didnt seem interested in helping me, disappointing...Prices were a bit on the high side for Marcs. The ora was not there..
My experience with Wal-Mart Willoughby, has been a good one. The employees great me and help me with the items I need.The lady at customer me to check out with 12 items no waiting. Clean store shelves well stocked and Ckean is why I am telling my friends to shop at Marcs Willoughby.
Been shopping at Marcs since they opened, 20 years or so. Great prices. My favorite thing....the close out section. I go at least once a week. The meat prices arent too bad either.
Bought ceaser salad in a bag and brought it home put it in the fridge, next day we were going to eat it with dinner. The salad was brown within a day . We took it back and they refused to take it back for exchange. So , see ya , never again.
For a brand new store, they are failing. I got there at opening one day. They opened 6 minutes late.They dont have enough cashiers on duty.Last visit, it took an excessive amount of time for a mgr. to show up to scan beer, because the cashier was too young.

Brand new store, huge, lots of helpful staff, clean and organized.My only suggestion would be that staff make sure motorized shopping cart are kept plugged into the electric outlets.

2022-04-29That is one of the nicest Marcs Ive shopped at! It is very roomy, neat and clean. When I pulled into the parking lot one of the employees was making sure there wasnt any trash on the ground. The cashier was super personable. Marcs keep up the good work. Ill definitely return.

2022-07-07They always have a cool selection of seasonal items at a low price. Random products. They usually arent the highest quality, but close to or equal depending on what youre looking at. Groceries are decently priced. Some items way cheaper - some items way more expensive than competitors. Always clean and fully staffed.

I purchased a washer machine from your South Euclid store the management team are the way I know management to be, they were pleasant,professional, and quickly resolved helping me. I dont live in South Euclid but from this point on I will shop at this store. Also the staff are very helpful and pleasant. That washer machine is Awesome keep bringing the consumer things we can afford and need.

2022-04-22Came here on a Friday mid morning- only 2 cashiers staffed plus courtesy desk. Waited in line for 45 minutes - ridiculous. Store is close to home, well stocked, and clean. But time is money- perhaps hiring and retaining people is of issue- but for $12/hr get what you pay for. Lucky they even show up.

2022-06-28Actually it had a similar setup as other Marcs stores, except it was newer. You came in one door and after checkout you went out a different door -- this should stop most thievery. My wife and I liked it. Wasnt too crowded when we were there. Recommend.

2022-02-28Shopping there with my newborn today and asked 6 times for assistance to my car. There were plenty of young workers just doing nothing because I came in on a slow day and time. The manager ( older African American) told me how her daughter had a six week old so I would think she would understand and if I was her daughter what would she want a store to do. I was so disappointed I left with to carts very slow and did it myself.Do better!!

2022-02-20Its a nice Marcs. Its clean and new. I am happy that it moved into my neighborhood. The only thing that I dont like about it is the placement of the entrance, Exit and the employees cart return door. It never fails... I always start walking towards the wrong door 🤣🤣🤣🚪

2022-07-05This is my first time at this location. This location is one of the newest of the stores built within the store chain. As expected, everything was neat clean and new. If youre a local and you shop at this chain you should check out this new location.

2022-05-20The crew last night was so helpful and nice. Lost my phone and everyone, even customers helped. Very clean store. Nice and orderly. I live close to another store but this is my go to Marcs.
