So given all the other excellent reviews, whats one more? It goes without saying the Marble Room is one of the finest dining experiences you can find in Cleveland. The setting of the old National City Back/Garfield building and its history are nothing short of opulent and impressive. The tall ceilings and beautiful architecture make this an experience in and of itself. Once you enter youre greeted by a very friend staff full of smiles and warm wishes. Once seated, your server and wait staff are very friendly and inviting. Youll likely encounter one of the very hospitable managers as well. The generous menu gives you plenty to choose from but we all know youre here for the steak. I chose the tomahawk and so should you. It was phenomenal. Best ever. And I eat a lot of steak on a carnivore diet. My wife had the 18oz bone in rib steak which was big but it looked tiny against the mighty tomahawk. All the sides sounded delicious but we stuck with the pomme frittes which were tasty. At the end of our experience, we were treated to a happy anniversary and cotton candy. Id rather have picked one of the amazing sounding deserts in celebration of 7 years of marriage but the tomahawk was reward enough (and I took some home). I cant recommend the Marble Room enough. We will certainly be back. Is it expensive? You bet. Is it worth it. You bet.
I order this Lobster and Mac n Cheese meal. It was horrible. The lobster smelled so bad like it was old and the Mac n cheese wasn’t even cooked properly. The shells were still hard. For this to be $150 meal it was the worst experience ever. This was my first and last time here. All this food did was look pretty and tasted horrible!
First off, I heard great things about this establishment from my girlfriend that recently just moved to Cleveland. We ate at the Marble Room on Friday 4.1.22. From start to finish this was the definition of 5 STAR SERVICE. From the bread, drinks, entrées to dessert, everything was perfect. Our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. We ordered the mussels , RIB-EYE and Filet with Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. I’ve never had better tasting food, I’ve been to a lot of different steak houses all over the world. Nothing compares to the Marble Room. The manager Justin was absolutely the best interaction that I’ve had with any manager. He checked on us multiple times and didn’t just ask us basic questions. He interacted with us for a good minute telling us about the history of the building and the renovations. Thank you for a wonderful experience we will be back and will tell anyone going to Cleveland that they can not miss the Marble Room.
Absolutely fantastic dining experience from start to finish. The staff here is so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We even got to take a tour of the vault area. It is crazy to think that we were in the same place that the Carnegies, Rockefellers and even presidents used to go! My husband loved the French onion soup and we all loved the crab cake appetizer. Our steaks were delicious! The only thing I would change about my steak next time is that I would get the 8oz filet instead of the 12. Our favorite side to share was the potato au gratin. So delicious! For dessert we got the chocolate cake and the baked Alaska. Our server brought us out some of their cotton candy for the boys.We can’t wait to return to the Marble Room and we also are excited to check out their sister restaurant il Venetian that is also here in Cleveland for some Italian food! We have some big life events coming up that may prevent us from going for a little while, but we are hoping to get there soon!Thank you again to the staff for making our evening so special! We truly appreciate you. Special shout outs to Deborah and Holly. Thank you for being so kind to our family.
Absolutely loved this restaurant. My Husband and I truly enjoyed celebrating our wedding anniversary here. The service and decor was immaculate and the food was delicious such a delicatessen. The bartender Andrew was superb and all staff were pleasant. I can’t wait to go back to sit in the teal booth.
We have been wanting to try Marble Room for a few years now, but reservations are always IMPOSSIBLE to come by. Luckily we utilized American Express Concierge to get a reservation on very short notice for a very much needed Mom/Dad night out at this restaurant and it exceeded every possible expectation. From the minute you Valet your car, you feel like you are no longer in Cleveland. This restaurant could easily keep up with any restaurant in LA, Vegas, NYC, SanFran, etc. You walk through these incredibly heavy doors and are immediately wowed by the grandeur of this restaurant. The front of the house staff was polite and accommodating; a very nice touch. We received a corner booth immediately that basically felt like we had a private dining area, as we were away from the hustle and bustle of the middle of the restaurant. The waitress and her assistant were amazing, she recommended a great wine, appetizer, and of course the amazing main course. I had been wanting to try to Wagyu for a long time, and this was finally my chance. She explained in great detail the 3 types that they had that night and I chose the Hyda-Gyu. It did NOT dissapoint. My wife got the filet, and it would have been exceptional every other day of the year, but after you bite into the Hyda-Gyu Wagyu, nothing else will ever compare. The salad was spot on, the French Onion soup was exceptional, and the whipped mashed potatoes were some of the best I have ever had. The presentation of the food is minimalistic, everything is ala-carte, like you would expect from a fine dining establishment.Nothing about the dinner felt rushed, the server was attentive the entire time, topping off the wine glasses like we were her only table. We even were sent a cotton candy ending from the restaurant, which was a great touch after indulging on such a feast. Everything from the minute you walked in the door to the minute the valet drove our car back around was sheer perfection.Couple of notes:1) This place is expensive, but you can dine as heavy or light as you want. A 6oz or 8oz filet is very well priced for being such a high quality meat that is flown in from Chicago. Since everything is ala-carte all of your sides are enough for at least 3 people to share. They also offer a lighter menu of sushi and a poke bowl that would suffice nicely for a quick dinner. 2 people could easily eat for $100 without drinks or eat for $600 if you decide to indulge in the Wagyu, Lobster Tails, and assorted sides and appetizers.2) Plan accordingly for time. They do not rush you and the food comes out at a nice slow pace to let you enjoy; so if you are planning on having a 3 or 4 course dinner plus dessert, you need to plan 2+ hours.3) Dress nice. Yes, there were people in jeans at this restaurant, but you are going to the highest end restaurant in Cleveland, enjoy yourself and look the part.4) This is more than a place to eat, is really is an experience. Enjoy every moment of it, take in the grandeur of the building. It truly is a masterpiece of a restaurant; I would put their food up against anything we have eaten in South Beach, Vegas, etc.Thank you for such a wonderful evening. This was our first time experiencing this restaurant, but it for sure will not be our last.Mark & Shannon Baughman
I highly recommend that you make a reservation before going. My fiancé took me there for Valentines day and made the reservation over a month in advance. Its a very beautiful restaurant and the food was delicious. The staff was very friendly and professional. The valet parking was also great.
I know the photo isnt the best, but our experience sure was! Zack (I hope thats spelled correctly) was an awesome server! The food was out of this world! We were celebrating birthdays and this was the treat they brought. It may sound silly, but even the cotton candy was excellent! If you get the chance, you really should check it out!
Be prepared to walk into Marble Room and be speechless. It is absolutely stunning! Literally one of the most beautiful restaurants in the US - it is no wonder all that was available was a 9:15 p.m. reservation on a Friday evening two months prior to our visit. We walked in and were blown away by the energy, music (they had a live saxophonist and violinist mingling playing table side!), and ambiance. What really makes Marble Room special is that the food AND the service is equally impressive. Every single thing we ordered exceeded expectations. Our server, Micah, was an absolute gem. He was warm, kind, and gave us the best recommendations. At the end of the evening, he went out of his way as the restaurant was closing down to give us a full tour and even brought me a special dessert to take home. Its not very often youre cared for so wonderfully, but every single person we interacted with was just as attentive, personable, on their game, synchronized, and as awesome as Micah. Marble Room is worth every penny and will be a place we plan to fondly remember until we can visit again. Do yourself the favor and GO!
So much love and talent goes into the food. We can ALWAYS count on an amazing meal that is so savory, flavorful and sinful every time. When I want a good meal, we go to the Marble Room- Period.. Every main dish Ive had there has been outstanding, the fish dishes are always my favorite though. The desserts are beyond special and created with love. I travel around the world and can honestly say this is one of my all time favorite restaurants.
Absolutely incredible! The atmosphere, the food and the service all deserve 5 stars! Also had a violinist playing which just added a great touch. Food was prepared beautifully. The waiter was nice and attentive to our needs and the room was just breathtaking to look at while you waited on your food. Would totally revisit in the future!
This is the best restaurant I have ever visited, and Ive been all over the world. The restaurant is in an old bank so the architecture is stunning! Super high ceilings, marble columns throughout, comfortable and intimate seating, and decorative walls. The hostess made us feel so welcome. Our server, Pamela, was very friendly, and went out of her way to make us feel at home. She was terrific! The food was delicious. I loved the butternut squash dish, and my daughter and husband really enjoyed the rack of lamb and the pork. This visit was a special occasion for us so our server presented us with the spun vodka cotton candy. Such a fun signature item!! This is our second visit to the Marble Room, since we live in South Carolina, but it definitely wont be our last!!! I cant say enough good things about this Cleveland gem!!!
Best fine dining in Cleveland. I take everyone from out of town coming from big cities here and they’re always very impressed with the ambiance and the food. Staff is extremely pleasant and obviously, food and ambiance are top notch. Great cocktail and wine selection. Personally, they have the best sushi in Cleveland! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Most of my Saturday nights are spent here, but it does get very busy so make a reservation!
My sister & I had a phenomenal time yesterday at Marble Room. Not only is the building itself exquisite but so was the food and the service. Our waitress Tiffany, was helpful, knowledgeable about the menu & specials available. All her recommendations were amazing and flavorsome. The food was like a party in my mouth EVERYTHING had great taste, presentation, perfect portion sizes and filling. My sister said her steak was the best steak she’d ever had, even better than she makes at home! Makes sense why there is a waitlist for this restaurant and I shall be adding myself back on it again for a few months time. My only negative, would be to have more vegetarian options and shrimp only option as a main dish.
The food was very good. I surprised my boyfriend with a nice dinner. I wasnt thrilled about the service. Especially since this was a surprise dinner and we are from out of town. I sat and watched other servers doing very well and interacting with guests. I really dont like when I have to ask for a refill three times either. The first time in a very long time I didnt tip twenty or more percent. Definitely good food but probably wouldnt go back due to service.
WOW! This place is an old bank Built-in 1845. Soaring ceilings, 3 thick columns made of pink marble and inlays in the ceiling. Very attentive service. As pricey as you would expect. But worth the money. The sushi before dinner was delicious. Our server Tim was awesome. Definitely a high recommendation, but get dressed up and prepare to use your wallet
My wife & I were with friends having dinner. We absolutely love the ambiance and vibe at the Marble Room. We were looking forward to a wonderful dinner and a great steak. We ordered the dry aged Delmonico. It was ordered medium rare and they offered to serve it sliced. Our steak was served medium well. We would have expected the kitchen when slicing it to realize it was not cooked correctly. Normally a manager will come to the table to see how the meal was, and that too did not happen. Addendum - we received a response from the owner and phone call from the general manager. We really appreciate the extraordinary follow up. We will definitely return.
They never disappoint. Its a 4.5, but I round up due to the beautiful and raw history of this venue and its glamorous ambiance. Ive made one of the most memorable experiences of my life here. Why 4.5? Because on holidays I realize you need to book a month in advance or more and I wish there was even more seating, for their benefit as well as the patrons.
Absolutely fabulous service and awesome food! Everything prepared superbly and served at precisely the right time. The Panna Cotta is to die for! Amazing filet mignon! Valet parking 🅿️ out front. Our server, Ally, is fantastic 👌 Thanks also to Justin and Enrique!🙏 Highly recommend for every occasion!
I believe that this will be my 5th 5 star rating Ive ever given.Service - from start to finish was fantastic, friendly and professional. Our server, Malachi, was attentive and knowledgeable.Ambience - the old architecture that gives this location flare and character was breathtaking. Perfect lighting, with a modern twist of decor.Food - Amazing. Every single dish was prepared perfectly. From the whipped potatoes to the salads to our main courses of scallops, a perfectly prepared Delmonico steak, halibut and filet with portion sizes that were made for giants. For dessert my party of four split the most amazing creme brulee that had a cinnamon whipped cream side. The combination was like mixing heaven with a cloud of ecstasy.I give my highest recommendation for this restaurant... however... its very difficult to get a reservation... plan ahead.
My two best friends and I celebrated 15 years of friendship by coming here for dinner! Its very high end and classy. We did sit down here longer than we wanted to but still loved it. We ended up having a 4 hour dinner because of how they space out the meals. So plan on spending quality time and money here
Absolutely incredible. Its a gorgeous restaurant with top class staff from the valets to the host/hostess and servers. Servers do a great job of explaining the menu and chef recommendations on the best preparation for each kind of steak. The sushi they have is fresh and was an unexpected win as I had gone really looking just for steak. The Delmonico steak was just out of this world. Deliciously marbled and perfectly and evenly cooked.Highly recommend checking it out.
Clean, elegant and an unique restaurant. Waiter was very nice to show us a tour around the historical building that was cool. To be honest if you like French Onion soup is was not tasty in my opinion no flavor, and for some reason the cheese really didn’t have a taste. My wife and I been to restaurants a lot cheaper I would say right in the middle when it comes to levels of tasty foods that has much better tasting food and it’s expensive.
Im not going to write an overly lengthy review other than this was one of, if not the best dining experiences that Ive ever had. Our server, Tim, was an absolute legend. The food was great, and you cant beat the atmosphere. The live sax was a killer touch. Will definitely be back!
Ambiance:Perfect for a special evening, however where we were seated too many ppl kept passing close to our table = 4 starsFood:Tomahawk, seasoned well and cooked perfect. Had a question and the chef came out to answer. = 5 starThe double chicken breast was.. hate to say it pretty greasy. Along with the asparagus. Took both items home and had to real pat it dry to remove the oil = 3 starsService:Waiter was great. Brought us the cotton candy when he found out it was a special evening. = 5 starsWhat I did not care for (and someone earlier had posted about it). We stopped in about month before our dinner. Just to take a look around, maybe have a drink. The hostess was snotty about us coming in. Told us we could only stand to the side. It was early and the place was not crowded. Plenty of seats at the bar. Her attitude was really unwelcoming, so we went elsewhere for that drink. = 0 stars.
We had a birthday dinner with friends and it was the most excellent experience! We started in the lounge area and the servers were extremely professional and knowledgeable about the drinks. Our server for dinner, Pamela, was very quick witted, so on point with service and she was a wealth of information regarding the beautiful building. We loved the cotton candy thing instead of pie or cake! It was truly a one of a kind evening and I highly recommend this place for a fine dining experience! 👏💯😁
One of the best atmospheres ever! But our table service was not good. The table next to us with only two people had 5 servers stop and help and chat with them (Who knows maybe they were famous). Our young lady of a busser (very good) stopped by more often than our server. Our drinks were more empty than full during dinner.
We went to the Marble Room for my 70th birthday. When you walk in, Omg stunning. For a Monday night the restaurant was rockn. When we left at 8:30p, and there were people still waiting to b seated. We had a 40 oz Tomahawk steak which was roll your eyes back in ur head delicious. Brought that home after a slice each. The bread was like Hawaiian rolls sweet, so good. Great salad, shared sides which we couldnt even eat because we were so full. My wine was Stags Leap chardonnay, very good, had 2 glasses. And they topped off my birthday with a big pink cotton candy swirl with Happy Birthday flickering on top,, on a plate saying Happy birthday in chocolate. This restaurant is made for great occasions or just a well earned date night. Highly recommend it.
Have eaten in restaurants around the country and beyond....This place ranks among the best. From the Valet to the hostess and server was pleasant and professional. The steaks and sides were cooked expertly, delicious flavors, served while hot and the wine and liquor choices were extensive. Very impressed!
Amazing restaurant! From the moment me and my wife walked in, we we’re captivated by the ambiance. The lighting, the music, the decor, all provides a relaxed atmosphere that provides its customers with a refreshing sense of class and elegance without being stuffy. Our waiter was pleasant, knowledgeable, and efficient and was an overall plus to the dining experience; the manager was great as well, walking around and checking on people. Last but most definitely not least, the food, which was amazing. The appetizers were great and our food including the steak was cooked to perfection and worth the price tag. All in all, it was a magnificent experience and would recommend to anyone for any occasion. Definitely heading back soon. 5/5
Was on wait list for a table, but invited by hostess to dine at the bar. Celebrating my wife’s birthday. First time at this restaurant. The food was amazing. The service was deplorable; possibly the worst I’ve ever experienced. My recommendation to the manager is to remove all seating at the bar to avoid any inference that any service is provided there. One of the three bartenders working that evening actually did appear to be responsive to guests. The other two were outwardly rude and completely inattentive. Our dining experience was horrible as a result. Ironically, I may give this restaurant another try because the food was so good. I’ll hope that the table service actually better reflects the chef’s work.
Gavin was a fantastic server! He mentioned he was newer, but was extremely knowledgeable and welcoming! Ian also helped a great deal. He brought us our wonderful salad and not only that but was so kind while doing so! Such a great first experience here. Will be coming back soon.
Justin is probably one of the best managers I have came across through out the majority of places I fine dine at on the regular. From regularly checking in, to handling any issues that may arise with other guest I might bring in from to time, knowing him giving our party full oversite it makes us feel much more at ease,. This makes it a relaxing and joyful experience by not having to stress about a thing. I recommend this place for any one who wants good food and a great ambiance, this is your place to check out.
I have to rearrange my top five dining experiences because of this place. The food was superb, but also every aspect of the ambiance was excellent:Lighting and decor: PerfectMusic: appropriate volume and pleasant, with live artists walking around supplementing the background music on this particular nightFood: Sublime. Some classic cuisine with flare or some excellent rarities you wont want to miss such as the highest grade waygu available in the States. The presentation was on par as well for an elevated dining experienceDrinks: Easily in the top 3 in the whole city, excellent selection for all vices and the bartenders know their craftwait staff: knowledgeable, friendly, and personableI rarely do this because turnover is so high in the industry, but I have to give a special mention to Ameir that really exemplified on the latter two points; he was a notch above most to say the least. We actually visited a second time just for drinks because of him. Will definitely be coming back, rather, Ill likely schedule a trip for nothing but eating here. Keep up the great work
I wanted to celebrate my husbands milestone birthday at a fine restaurant and chose The Marble Room to commemorate his special day. Our three children and their spouses joined us, one having traveled from out of state. to surprise him.Our food was good as was the service. When we were ready to depart, we were informed that our car keys had been lost. We waited patiently for them to turn up and several hours later, they still had not done so. They called for an Uber at that point and sent four of us home. A while later, the keys were found and the remaining four arrived back in Akron at 1:30am. Our reservations were at 6:45pm.We have tried communicating with the manager via email, two phone messages and letter mail, but have had no response from him. We would have appreciated acknowledgement of our situation and perhaps an apology. Communication was lacking here and certainly colors our experience at this establishment.
Im not sure what can say that hasnt been said. My husband and I went in for his birthday dinner on Saturday night and sat at the bar, our experience was nothing short of AMAZING. The bartenders were great and really spared no detail. We also got lucky because we had two great bartenders who were amazing with food/beverage pairings. For dinner we started with the jalapeno crudo, the special steak tartare, caviar, and then split a steak with some sides. Everything was phenomenal. The food was top notch and the timing on coursing was great. The bartenders ( I wish I got their names) were so fun and made our experience memorable and all around delightful. We had a wonderful time and cannot wait to go back!
Wonderful atmosphere and food. However, I was surprised at the poor service. Once we had our food, we hardly saw our server which severely added to our time spent there as we couldnt pay the bill to leave. While we sat an eternity waiting, they stopped refilling our waters and left our dirty plates in front of us for an extended period of time which further added to our discomfort. Also, we had a table of 10. They dont let you split the check which I understand some nice restaurants dont allow. However, if were going to experience terrible service, its the least they can do.
1st time in. Hard to get a table. Appetizers we super good. Missed out on the reported best ones due to then not able to make them gluten free. Delmonico steak was great! Very flavorful and decent sized. Mushrooms were great! Wifey got lamb chops which she loved. We also got the shinto peppers side, which was huge and a massive over kill unless its your main course. Good drinks, and amazing cotton candy dessert! Definitely going back
Updated review 2022. I updated my rating to four stars after revisiting Marble Room after over four years. The food was delicious, the drinks were abundant and the service was decent. Our server started off kind of overwhelmed but he ended up being very professional and welcoming as the evening went on. The only reason I didnt give it five stars is because the saxophone player is overwhelming and its hard to hold a conversation over the loud music.I give it three stars for the following reasons. The food quality is great, and the venue is also amazing! Unfortunately, the service was a entirely different story. When you order your food you better expect to wait a substantial amount of time. I wouldnt say waiting would warrant a 3 star but when its complimented with rude service it makes it a big issue. If you are waiting for food and the server is rude it gives you an unforgiving bad taste which overtakes the venue and food quality. Additionally the waiter was aggressive when it came to ordering additional sides which doesnt make any sense because why wouldnt he want to make more money for the establishment? A place of this reputation and cost should not hire rude employees.
Way overrated, first and last time there. Steak at a diner for $10 is much better than the $75 steak there and to top things off the service is even worse than the food. Our bill was $200 for two people and the waiter didn’t even check on us but once and didn’t even bring us steak knives for the steak we had to use the butter knives to cut our steak. No difference than a outback or longhorn steak house in fact you get better quality steak and service at those places than this place.
Just amazing. Simply fantastic.I cant recommend this place enough. The Food, ambience, music were second to none . The whole staff have truly outdone themselves.Raw oysters, fresh salmon were delicious, as was the chocolate cake (definitely the best I have had).Shout-out to Aaron! Thanks for having us.
We were visiting my son who lives in Cleveland. We have never been. I was surprised with the service. Our glasses were empty for a period of time. The waiter didn’t take the empty glasses off the table. We waited for refills. The knives weren’t placed before dinner was served. Dinner was served luke warm. The waiter was inattentive. Ambiance was beautiful. We didn’t have a reservation and although tables sat empty, we were seated in “the lounge”. I believe in creating an experience for a guest and I didn’t feel that here.
This was the best restaurant I’ve ever been to in my life. I’m from Virginia and I was in the Cleveland area for the weekend so I stopped by the Marble Room. My expectations we’re exceeded! The food was amazing! I ordered the 12oz filet mignon, Lobster Tail, and creamy spinach. I’ve ate at plenty of high end restaurants but nothing compares to the Marble Room from the ambiance, the service, and the food. I highly recommend everyone to go !! (I didn’t get any pictures of the food only videos)
The ambiance is simply breathtaking from the moment you enter the lobby, as you pass by the sexy, front lounge with velvet chairs and continues with the huge bulbs that light your path to your seat as you take in the massive ceiling with ornate details. Knowing that this restaurant was converted from a bank makes you appreciate your surroundings even more. We dined on a Tuesday which is a neighborhood happy hour for locals, but we did not know that happy hour is only for those seated in the lounge/bar area, so if you would like to partake, you need to inform the hostess before you are led into the dining room. When I see Far Niente by the glass on the menu, I know the wine list is going to be stellar and I was not let down. The food offerings were equally impressive and after dining on the hot, delicious, buttered rolls for the table, we dined on the fish and chips roll, rock shrimp roll, crab cake, gilded chocolate cake and the vanilla bean creme brûlée. Both rolls were creative and fantastic. The chocolate cake was delicious and rich and while I am not usually a fan of plain creme brûlée, the chefs are Marble Room put a little twist on it and it was excellent! We had an wonderful time and Zak, our waiter provided us with great service, thank you for the recommendations!
We celebrated a friends birthday at The Marble Room. The entire experience was nothing short of AMAZING! The actual building is impeccable. We ordered from dinner, sushi and sides menu. Everything was expertly prepared and absolutely delicious. The sushi rolls were creative and visually appealing as well. Our waiter, George, was extremely knowledgeable about the extensive menu and wine list, and helped us to make good choices. My friend did not want any dessert for her birthday, but still George whipped up something small but special! I will most definitely be returning.
Amazing food, steak is perfectly cooked, waiters get the food to you quick. All of the waiters are very nice, I would very much advise you to go here. If you really like the Marble Room the same owner owns Il Venetian, Marble Sushi Room, and Lockkeepers Inn. They are all great!
Thursday night reservations, so I wasnt expecting to be wowed like a Saturday night might bring but wanted value for the money we were about to spend. Service was lack luster besides the table assistant who was very attentive. Sushi roll (rock shrimp special) was great. Wifes ceaser salad and the rolls were fantastic. Both of our steaks were undercooked and server didnt check in to see how steaks were until about 10-15 min after delivery. Wife and I just dealt with it, but definitely took away from the meal. Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes were good, not blown away by them. Drinks were great (peach mules) but server took them before we finished them. Cotton candy was a nice touch. Overall it felt like we were judged for not spending more. The grandure of the spaces lived up to the hype but for $250 before tip, the value of the meal just wasnt there like I had hoped.
We cannot rave enough about this place!! We loved it!! From the moment you walk in!! Top notch staff! My wifes said she felt like a princess! She is always my princess & Im so happy to find a place to take her to show her how perfect & amazing that she is to me! The food was perfection The atmosphere & live music was just the cherry on top. The service was impeccable and we were treated like royalty! That is how I want my wife treated everywhere we go!Most places are a huge disappointment.. but Not here! We were so impressed by the quality of the entire staff!! It was just top of the line professionalism at its finest!! Worth every penny! My princess deserves it and we will definitely make this our special place! Thanks to everyone there! If you want to show your lady how much she means to you, brother take her Here!!!
The setting is absolutely phenomenal. They definitely dont do architecture this way anymore. The marble pillars are absolutely stunning, along with the etched designs and velour seating. We were severely disappointed in the crab cake though and my husband wasnt a huge fan of his New York strip steak. I had filet mignon and it was wonderful. Cooked perfectly.
From the moment you step through the door, youre taken back to the 50s. This former bank serves as a fantastic restaurant location. High ceilings and large marble columns as far as the eye can see as youre greeted by the friendly hostesses just inside the door. Reservations are not required, but are highly recommended, though they do have bar seating if thats your thing. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. As you wait for your food, they bring out these wonderfully tasty dinner rolls, with what I assume is a housemade butter. I couldve made these my dinner, but I knew what awaited me when my meal came. I ordered the 12oz Filet Mignon, cooked to medium temperature. The outside was crispy, but not burnt, and the inside was cooked to perfection. They served it with a house steak sauce, which was a perfect pairing with the steak itself. All steaks are a la carte, so be sure you order a side as well. I chose the Crispy Potato Cake, which is their version of potato pancakes. A crispy outside and soft inside made this potato pancake exquisite. The sauce drizzled over it complimented the flavor of the potato cake perfectly. I didnt splurge for dessert, though Ive heard good things about their creme brulee and the chocolate cake looked amazing. This is a relatively high dollar restaurant, so be prepared to spend closer to $100/person, but the food, ambiance, and experience are worthwhile.
This upscale restaurant in downtown Cleveland has a wonderful atmosphere thats perfectly in between formal and casual. The renovated bank that its in is gorgeous on top of that. Our service was excellent, on time, hospitable, and welcoming. Their mimosa and Kentucky breakfast cocktails were delightful. For brunch, we had their cinnamon roll pull apart bread to start. This came recommended by all the staff we talked to and it did not disappoint. It was gooey inside and slightly crisp on the outside. The homemade cream cheese frosting was delectable. For my entree I had the herbs Benedict with king crab and its was incredible. I liked that they put it on a savory waffle instead of a biscuit. The hollandaise was very good as well. For sides we had the pomme frites and mac and cheese which were very good. My girlfriend had the buttermilk chicken sandwich which was good. The chicken was juicy and the bread not too dry.We went for my girlfriends birthday and they served her a slice of this very nice, layered chocolate cake which was incredibly moist with an incredible whipped cream on top. Apparently they typically serve cotton candy for birthdays but their machine was broke. I would like to see how a restaurant of this caliber does cotton candy, so we will be back in September for mine.
This was a wonderful experience! I came with a friend to celebrate a new job, and I couldnt have asked for a better place to have it. Pamela L. was our wonderful server, and did a fantastic job - cannot express that enough. The aged Delmonico steak (with truffle butter) and whipped potatoes were delicious, the mojito was refreshing, and the Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon was rich. The rockefeller oysters were excellent, as well.Ill definitely be back! Prompt and friendly service, classy ambiance, and delicious meal made for an incredible dining experience.
With the dining room set on the floor of an old bank the atmosphere here is incredible. Not a huge fan of the high top tables because the chairs are hard to get in and out of but our meal was great! All of the steaks were prefectly cooked and flavored excellently. Wine list is extensive but not exclusive, you can easily find a quality sub $50 bottle in any category.
Amazing historical place. You need to see it in person. The food was great and staff was extremely helpful. They took us on a tour of the basement vault rooms and front rooms just because we asked about them. Wasnt expecting that. Plus add some interesting historical facts. It is a great experience!!!
Seated and served on time. Excellent food, enchanting atmosphere, extensive wine list. Enjoyed the rack of lamb and a beef filet with bearnaise sauce. From our arrival to our departure, every staff member greeted us and our server Debra really made our evening special.
The ambiance and the service was world class. The food was great in presentation but its not unique or mind blowingly tasteful. It tastes average for the environment your in. none the less, its a romantic place to take a date just dont forget to bring your wallet. I suppose your paying for the great service and the awe inspiring place, but the food itself it too pricey for its worth in creativity or ingredients. I suppose its the experience.
Food was excellent. Oysters the best I’ve had in Ohio. They are very attentive and want to know if something isn’t right. The manager comes around and asks. The server asks. Everything was exactly as I thought it should be. Best restaurant I’ve been to in Cleveland. And I haven’t even mentioned the physical space which is amazing and beautiful.
This is a beautiful restaurant in an old bank. The restaurant has been in business for 2 years and the service and meals are phenomenal. The french onion soup was my starter and was one of the best Ive ever had. It was very rich and hearty. I had the dry aged delmonico steak with mushrooms and a potato dish that was similar to a loaf with garlic, Chile, and cojita cheese. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. I will definitely visit here again when I am back on business.
Visiting Cleveland from Buffalo (which is no slouch for great steakhouses), my date and I wanted to know what all the fuss was about with The Marble Room. Its on nearly every to-do list for the city, and people rave about it.They should.Everything about the experience youre about to have can be summed up by the appearance of the place once you step foot into the eponymous dining room. Opulence is the order of the day, every day, from the violinist playing along live to dubstep recordings of pop and classic songs, to the oysters as big as a childs face, to the $125, forty eight ounce tomahawk ribeye on the single page menu. Our server, George, was a warm and gracious personality to walk us through the meal we came prepared to spend a paycheck on. He suggested our first time trying oysters should be a half dozen of mixed selections of both pacific and atlantic (I preferred the Atlantic), made recommendations of toppings for our steaks, and brought two samples of reds to the table to help my undeveloped pallette decide. The meal was exquisite. We went a bit overboard, with two appetizers, a steak each, and two sides (which they arent clear about but come family style to the table, and are easily large enough for two to split). The oysters were a good experience. Someone who loves them could post better than I, but the presentation was very good. The duck confit spring rolls ($17) were the sleeper hit of the meal. Seriously, get them. The 6oz filet ($38) was soft as butter, and we did not regret dropping almost the cost of the steak on the crab Oscar topping for it. The dry aged delmonico was an absolute monster at 18oz ($65) and after all the rest, I had to doggy bag it along with the remains of our sautéed mushroom medley a d crispy potato cake.We were Georges last table for the evening, and he was kind enough to give us a tour of the vaults downstairs. And (badly) take our picture with my camera (I forgive you, man, its tricky!).After tip, we spent two hours and just over $300 for two people. A couple could certainly get away with paying less, and if I visit again, I probably will be more frugal. The atmosphere is worth 25% of the check, and there is as good - but maybe not better - steaks on offer in humbler settings. Still, for the experience alone this place is not to be missed.
Marble Room is one of those Cleveland gems that I make sure to bring all of my out of town guests to. It has that wow factor that impresses everyone! The decor and atmosphere is on par with & even nicer than some of the best restaurants Ive been to in other major cities and the service was perfect. Our food came out quickly without issue, and the drinks were delicious. On this most recent visit, I ordered the salmon sushi, lamb rack, mojito, oysters & fries. Ive also had steaks on various occasions, all wonderful.Oh and I love the saxophone guy & violin gal!!Id definitely recommend reservations for groups more than 2, especially for the weekends. There is a beautiful long bar and a lounge area but its typically busy & full (which is great when youre a couple people / solo and want to mingle!)
The room is breathtakingly beautiful. you’ll be transported immediately upon entering. the staff is beyond hospitable and clearly led well by the talented industry leader, kevin kane. the food is superb and has a wide offering. i may be biased 😉 but the market garden prosperity wheat and magis cider on draft made for a convivial evening. the jazzy sax player strutted about and livened up the evening quite nicely. marble room strikes that perfect balance between special occasion fine dining in the main dining room and a laid back and fun vibe at the bar and lounge. highly recommended!
Must go in Cleveland. As soon as you walk in, youre immediate reaction is wow. The ceilings and the whole restaurant space was gorgeosly decorated. This places decor is by far one of the best in the world. If you cant go for food, go for drinks at the bar/lounge area just to check out the space. Service was great, friendly and attentive and food was delicious too. The french onion soup was superb.
This was an absolutely amazing experience!! Not only was our server attentive and a straight shooter, but the service from all attending to us was prompt and courteous. All 7 of us had a variety of things from the Delmonico steak, to the Filet 12 oz to the NY Strip 14 oz and we all were elated with the cut and quality of our choices! I personally had the Filet with a Marble Room Mojito and Sashimi to start.
Head to the lounge area. We could not get a reservation for 2 but heard the bar was a great way to experience this opulent and glamorous space. We snagged 2 seats at the lengthy bar and had a great Bourbon and Amaro cocktail crafted by the bartender. Fortunately a group standing nearby was too loud so we headed to the lounge area. The sexy space with corner green velvet couches and tables large enough for cocktails and dinner was ideal and comfortable. Service was prompt and helpful. The Kusshi oysters and Hamachi crudo are must-orders. My stuffed squash was superb, and the pork chop was thick. Glad there was no room in the restaurant section.
I really love working here started out as a busser then a little over a year barbackin i became a bartender alot of places say its like family this place is really family from ownership throughout the kitchen we all love each other nothing but opportunities and this place really developed me into a better person nurturing my immaturity into becoming a mature man and still growing
I was invited to a private dinner at The Vault inside of Marble Room last night and the atmosphere, appetizers, drinks and dinner were all amazing! Ive never experienced dinner on this scale at such a historic location. I loved that do many of the original aspects of the bank vault were kept, such as the original vault doors and the safety deposit boxes. The servers were very friendly and willing to share the history of the location along with details about the items being served. Crab cakes, lobster rolls, Surf and Turf, wine and dessert served in an actual former bank vault! An absolutely wonderful time!
Amazing, amazing, amazing!!! One of the top 5 dining experiences of my life anywhere in the world! The building is unbelievable one of the coolest venues Ive been to. The food was excellent especially the seafood platter with the biggest oysters Ive ever had. Steak was amazing, and truffle fries that you could actually taste the truffle! Never would have guessed Id have a World class dining experience in Cleveland! To top it off on Friday night the live pianist and Sax player really took the vibe to another level! The tour of the private dining room in the vault by was a great way to finish the night!
An awe-inspiring interior paired with all-around awesome cuisine, Marble Room is undoubtedly among the best fine-dining in Cleveland. The Marble Room presents as a high class steak house, but it is truly a special place. The menu is impressive; every plate appears perfectly constructed. Importantly, the cuts of steak available are all excellent, and theyre cooked to perfection. I immensely enjoyed their 16 oz Delmonico and Wagyu skirt steak. Additionally, their rack of lamb is decadent and delicious; I definitely recommend it. The desserts at Marble Room are also exquisite and should not be missed. Their cheesecake, gilded chocolate cake, and banana-mango panna cotta are all amazing. I strongly recommend the panna cotta, which is unique and full of mouth-watering, floral flavor.
The marble room is an elegant restaurant that is great for any occasion. Attire is for the most part business/evening wear. I did see one or two people in jeans but that was not the norm. I had the trout and my husband had the crab cake. The trout was excellent and the crab cake was all crab meat. We also shared a side of the potato cake. The sides are big enough to share for the table. Same with the mixed greens salad we shared. My favorite part of the evening was the live violinist and saxophonist. They also doubled as the djs. They played current music so I was grooving!
The building is AMAZING! Although not an original concept, people seemed quick to forget Crop opened in an old bank years ago in Ohio City.Steaks were good but for the price, I like the coziness and the attentiveness of Mortons better. Also, I dont think half of a twice baked potato is enough to consider that a shareable side.
L was at the Marble on 5/12/22 and me and my husband sat at the bar, Ameir and John was my waiter. Ameir was amazing with helping me and my husband pick the tempture of our food he was very kind and l needed that. I will come back and sit and eat with Ameir again and bring my guest thanks Ameir kindness goes a long way.
It is the most beautiful place Ive seen in Cleveland, elegant, classy and full of great energy. The raw bar is delicious, cocktails are very well served. If you are planning to have a fancy dinner with friends, family or just your loved one this is the right place to leave a memorable experience.
Ordered Caesar salad with added grilled chicken. The chicken was so dry that a steak knife was actually difficult to cut through it. Chicken was remade and was far better the second time but took 30 minutes to complete. Oysters were not good due to sloppy shucking. The exterior mud from the shell was still present on the oyster itself. This is a big deal as far as safety is concerned. I received food poisoning from this experience. Finally, I ordered coffee which was brought out with actual grains of coffee still inside of the cup with pictures to reference. For the record: our server Jeff was amazing! Every step of service was performed to the highest extent from both Jeff and surrounding wait staff. The food just needs to match the quality of the service. This is my third bad experience here and I have tried again to see if anything has changed and so far nothing has changed. The awesome service keeps me and others coming back so please Marble Room please review your entrees with your lead expo before sending out food that sub-par, especially when it comes to seafood. Please fix this Marble Room. You are better than this.
Fantastic experience all around. Our executive staff booked a private room, which had an amazing atmosphere. Just walking around the place you get a real sense of the grand bank it once was. We were very well taken care of by the staff and the food was great. Friendly valet service. Only eaten here twice but it has definitely left a lasting impression. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Cleveland metro area, though it was incredibly busy for a Tuesday evening. I heard that you want to book a reservation well in advance. Well worth the wait.
Took my wife here for the first time for our 16 yr anniversary...couldnt be more impressed with the food and the staff A1 the best steak and food Ive ever had if Cleveland is on the upswing The Marble Room is leading the way... Im so proud to have a dinning experience of this high class and service in my city...Definitely will be returning
Another great meal. Ate in the lounge. Food was spot on tonight. It was packed and our entrees delayed and they gave us dessert on the house! Live Sax and violin very entertaining although the violin volume needed to be down an itch or two as we had to yell to be heard. Even the young one at the table agreed. More than just a dinner; it’s an experience in a first class space. Our waiter Daniel was superb. We will be back.
Wow! Where do I start? Second time here. Expensive, yes, but worth it. Just be prepared for the prices.Steak or seafood are fabulous. The staff is ask top notch. And the ambiance, decor, etc is exceptional! They really have done a great job laying the room out and keeping noise levels down in a large, tall, open room that has many hard surfaces.
The Marble Room is.... MARBLE-OUS!!! Truly a fine dining experience in Cleveland, Ohio with a New York City Flair. Getting a seat and making reservations is difficult without knowing somebody -- but according to our waiter, there is a designated area for walk-ins (just appetizers, sides and drinks) otherwise you have to make reservations about two to three weeks ahead (this is as of 1/15/2022 because the waiter believes the advance notice will be shorter in the coming months). Once youre in, the feast begins with yours eyes as you will be in awe of the architecture, the coffered ceiling, the enormous pillars, the lights and decor -- as your eyes adjust, your ears will next realize through the din of the room there is live music playing by a strolling violin and saxophonist -- you take your seat and the service begins Like most fine dining establishments, your meal is a la carte. You are invited to have a dining experience, visit with your company, enjoy drinks - visit with your company - order an appetizer, visit with your company -- very leisurely -- you will easily spend 3 to 4 hours dining. The wait staff is friendly and much more engaged with customers than you might encounter at another fine dining experience. There is a full very well stocked bar and many people gathered around. The food options are rather extensive and the food appearance and taste are exquisite!!! And dessert...WOW!!! ---- the entire experience is fantastic and memorable......until the bill comes. Realize you are having a very CONTEMPORARY elegant fine dining experience (decor, music, food options, engagement with wait staff) but the prices are OLD SCHOOL/TRADITIONAL sky high! Your entree will cost between $55 to well-over $100 --- then of course you will order equally expensive sides dishes, appetizers, salads, etc. --- birthdays/special occasions are celebrated with cotton candy presented on a plate with flashing LED lights. AND DRESS CODE....while there isnt a dress code, you are asked to not wear any caps/hats -- most people were dressed Smart Casual to quite Elegant --- YOU WILL LOVE THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE, but for most of us folks of moderate means, you will likely only visit on the most special of occasions -- but you will not regret it!!! 5+ STARS 🌟
Truly a fine dining experience! The customer service, the food, the ambience... everything about this establihment is outstanding!A great place to remind yourself that you deserve every great thing...and if you love magnificent and stately architecture you are in for a spectacular treat😉
My wife and I cannot rave enough about this place!! We loved it!! From the moment you walk in!! Top notch staff! My wifes said she felt like a princess! THAT is exactly how I expect her to be treated!! The food was perfection The atmosphere & live music was just the cherry on top. The service was impeccable and we were treated like royalty! That is how I want my wife treated everywhere we go! Most places are a huge disappointment.. but Not here! We were so impressed by the quality of the entire staff!! It was just top of the line professionalism at its finest!! Worth every penny! My princess deserves it and we will definitely make this our special place! Thanks to everyone there! If you want to show your lady how much she means to you, brother take her Here!!!
Amazing aesthetics, like taking a step back in time while still having that modern high end feel. I ordered the east coast oysters to start, very tasty. For my main course I had the porter house, cooked perfectly. Dessert was espresso with a lemon zest. All in all we will be going back very soon.
Had very high expectations for this place. Was very disappointed when the hostess decided to get us kicked out of the restaurant. We had ordered food for a seat next to us at the bar. We were told we could not save one seat, as we were enjoying our meal which was over $800. We were mid meal and were asked to leave. The manager and hostess should be embarrassed. Customer service should be at a premium at this kind of place such as marble room. 1 star.
Best lunch and dinning atmosphere in Cleveland. Classy, formal, semi formal up casual dress code. When I visited my wife and I had Oysters Rockefeller, mix garden salad, crab cakes and a sole dish which was wonderfully prepared by the Chef. At the time there were also two performers, a violinist and a Saxophonist who took turns on putting out different songs. Highly recommend this place to impress a date or a cool place to catch up with friends.
Oh, my! This place takes me back to when Father was still alive. We would meet here on the regular for sushi and filet. The lobster tail is always perfect. Too bad people dont dress appropriately anymore. Shorts, Looney Toons tshirts, flip flops... please start having a minimum dress code.
The ambience of Marble Room is absolutely 2nd to none. The building is gorgeous. The lighting is perfect. There was a live saxophone player wandering the room adding life and just the right amount of and vibrance to the otherwise calmly romantic atmosphere. The whole setting prepares you for the greatest meal of your life. However, the food is... good. It is certainly not bad by any means! Its just... good. The scallops my wife ordered were much smaller than we were expecting. My steak was slightly overdone. The presentation was lacking. There were just a couple of points in the meal that missed the mark for how much we paid. That being said, we had an absolutely wonderful time. The staff was great. Everything else was absolutely fantastic. In fact, well probably be back again to give it another shot for a future special occasion.
Amazing place for a special occasion dinner. I have been twice and both times have been great for our group. This time had the sashimi, foie gras, Truffle fries and my wife had the Fish & Chips roll. All was good and our service was spot on again. Highly recommended if you can get a reservation.
Stopped in here to see the place out of the hopes it was a perfect fit for me to take my girlfriend for her birthday. I was blocked from entry because I didnt have a reservation. I have my answer now. Ill go elsewhere.Edit: Youre missing the point Marble Room. I was going in to see the place. I wanted to look at the menu, check out the bar and the atmosphere for when I take my girlfriend who is visiting from England. The fact that you treat walk-ins like downtown homeless off the streets where you wont even let them walk in and look at the restaurant is insulting, even after I explained this to your guards at the door. This is a place Id take my family and friends for Holidays from here on out as I live at the Athlon on Euclid Avenue but not now. Peasants arent allowed inside.
The most beautiful fine dinning place in Cleveland Ohio. WOW! What can I say as the atmosphere and ambiance is second to none. The food was great as well as the service and attention to details. We celebrated my wife and I anniversary there this past Saturday and would highly recommend the Marble Room for any special occasions or for just a great night out.
We had a fantastic meal and experience at the Marble Room. The restaurant itself is probably one of the most impressive Ive ever seen, easily in my top 5 of all time. There is so much architectural beauty and attention to detail, its almost difficult to take it all in without just wandering/snooping around (which we discussed), but youre there to eat dinner and dont want to disturb the other guests! It honestly feels like a museum or other national landmark. All of the dishes we ordered were excellent. Everyone had a little something different and we tried each others meals. I was very impressed with my pork chop, and the hamachi appetizer was out of this world. I only wish there was more of it! As for the sides, the two standouts were the Mac and cheese and the creamed spinach.Scott, our server, was very good and did an excellent job of answering any questions we had. He also made sure our meal stayed on schedule without being rushed; as we had a show to catch at Playhouse Square. Everything was timed perfectly and we had a wonderful time.Despite only being open for a few months, I believe the Marble Room has worked out any kinks they may have previously had. Our experience was flawless, and what you would expect from a restaurant of this caliber and price point. We will absolutely be back! Hopefully next time, we will be able to do a bit more snooping around.
The atmosphere is amazing and the food is great quality. Ours was a little on the salty side but still delicious. The bartender was extremely knowledgeable about wine and was helpful with our selection. Our only complaint is that it was our 20th wedding anniversary which we indicated upon booking (as prompted) yet it was not acknowledged at all despite telling our server.
FIRST off let me say that the overall venue was gorgeous...and felt luxurious..However service was 1/2 star from our hour wait to actually receive anything..this was for my daughters graduation from college and birthday dinner celebration. The servings were small for price and then the steak was tasty but not many veggies options.
Swanky and fabulous! Only 6 mos old and hitting their stride. Bad service?! - this isn’t a fast food, pre-cooked, heat-and-heat joint. Food is prepared the way it’s supposed to be - in the moment and fresh for you. Professional, knowledgeable waiters and friendly staff. Excellent meal and dessert. (They make their own ice cream on-site every day.) Best coffee I’ve had in my life - zero bitterness or burnt roast taste. Marble Room is not for everyone. But for those who enjoy classic, fine dining, welcome to your new favorite restaurant. Cheers!
Mrs G and I have eaten here twice. While the physical space is amazing, I posit that the food and drinks are average. My steak was improperly cooked (too much) which is a sin, especially at a steak house. And to their credit, they took care of the issue in an appropriate manner. The drinks are fine but not outstanding - they are more than capable of making fine cocktails if you know your stuff. The sister restaurant, the Il Venetian, offers much better food.
Without a doubt the worst experience I ever encountered at a restaurant. Sitting at the bar with my business partner and a new employee we were mid meal when the bartenders allowed us to order for our friend that was coming to join us at the empty seat to our left. The hostess came over and rudely said we were not able to order for an empty seat after being told otherwise by the bartenders and proceeded to become ignorant and tell us “you don’t run the restaurant, we do” that was the end of it. Next thing you know the “manager” Kevin(I put that in quotations because he has no clue how to manage anything) came over and told us we had to leave. Mid meal we were forced to leave after spending nearly $800. He didn’t ask us about the situation or offer to resolve in any way. Truly this Kevin gentleman and the hostess have no right being in the hospitality business, let alone an establishment of this level. I am qualified to comment on management considering our background in the hotel and restaurant business. Won’t be back without a face to face apology from the disrespectful staff members that embarrassed me in front of my colleagues.
The Marble Room provides a truly unique and unmatched experience in Cleveland. From the second you step foot inside, you’ll be in awe of the architecture and atmosphere. The service was impeccable and the food was absolutely amazing. If you’re looking to celebrate a special occasion, this is the place to go. I highly recommend making reservations, but there is walk-in seating available at the bar.
I would leave no stars if I could. I dont know who these folks are in Cleveland who claim this place is world class. The food was subpar at best and expensive. The service was beyond terrible. I was really hoping this place would be good, but I would avoid it at all costs unless you feel like wasting a few hundred dollars and leaving completely annoyed. Oh right the old bank is stunning!
It was a nice atmosphere the wait time is very long, but that was not my issue. My issue with this restaurant is they served me a raw pork chop. Then the manager came to the table a said that the cut of the meat may have been to big. What type of mess is that to tell a customer I would not recommend this restaurant to no one. Check your food before eating it because the light are very low hard to see.
This place has one of if not the best atmosphere in downtown Cleveland. Was warmly greeted upon entrance, sat at the bar. Server was phenomenal, I had the sous vide old fashioned with oysters Rockefeller and the salmon roll. It was a Saturday night and the saxophone player was jamming through the restaurant. Beautiful setting, outstanding staff and delicious food. I cant wait to go back
Love this place. I am from out of state and stopped for a drink last night. Jeff was our server and he was fantastic. Our experience was so good last night, we stopped again for a nightcap this evening. The place is beautiful and the staff is really nice. This will be my go to place any time I am in Cleveland.
Everything about this place is first class. From the decor, to the serving staff to the food- everything was spot-on. But be prepared to pay the price, the least expensive steak on the menu was almost 60 bucks. I got the 40 one day dry aged Delmonico steak. Tender and cooked perfectly.
The marble room is absolutely gorgeous. Soon as we were sat down our waitress came over and greeted us with bread and The food was delicious my steak was so tender and juicy the macaroni and cheese was one of the best side plates ever. I will be going back and it was a great experience.
Probably my favorite restaurant in the world. The truffle butter + filet mignon is incredible! The service is always nice and the food never disappoints. Worth every cent. The owners are also incredible. I will gladly support any of their businesses because of how good they treat their staff, and their values.
If you think you are going to get a drink here 30 minutes before closing, guess again. Arrived at 10:30pm and the hostess seemed to delight in turning us away. We had planned to have dinner here the next night, but not after this experience. Our first visit to Cleveland and last visit to the Marble Room!
The Marble Room was fantastic!!!! Cannot say enough about the decor, food, wine, and staff...My family took me for my birthday. Fantastic! The decor is absolutely beautiful and very elegant. We toured the vault...beautiful! Our waiter was Kevin...fantastic. He was always right there and had everything we needed. The food was delicious!! Large portions! The staff was very friendly. The whole experience was well worth the pricy ticket!! Oh yes...very clean!!
Let me start off by saying General Manager, Kevin Kane is professional and accommodating. The service alone in this establishment is top notch and the food in exquisite. Living in a heavily populated and trafficked metropolitan area, coming here is a breath of fresh air. I live for the dining experience that I naturally judge every element due to my high expectations. The Marble Room has the scene and the menu to match - makes me miss living in Cleveland. Cannot wait for my next dining experience here at the Marble Room.
Wow!!My wife and I dine out 5 days a week and we’ve never experienced anything close to the atmosphere of the Marble Room. From the entrance of the staff opening all the doors for us to the exquisite Hollywood like atmosphere to the breathtaking decor of marble and pillars everywhere, we were simply overwhelmed. The service was bomb. The upper level wine cellar view was something to behold. Chandeliers and expensive, ornate details galore. But the one thing that we’ll have to tell everyone about is the unparalleled live violinists that roved this one of a kind eatery. Thank you Marble Room! We’ll be back soon. :)
Good, not great. $75 ribeye well done when asked for mid rare/rare and got an eye roll from the help when I addressed it. This is after a staff recommendation..Fantastic ambiance and drinks. I would be careful if you’re eating as a single at the bar- bill total equates to service level. Honestly shouldn’t matter at $70+ per lb of beef shouldn’t have a sliding scale for attention.

2022-06-09What a great dining experience from start to finish. We brought our family here for a celebratory dinner. There were 7 of us and we had requested a table to the side at the time of reservation. We were so pleased with the atmosphere and the service. Our server was a delight. The food was great. The steaks were superb. I recommend the Delmonico. It was soft like butter and had amazing marbling and flavor. After dinner they took us on a tour of the restaurant and rooms for private events. The history of the building is fascinating! I highly recommend Marble Room for a special meal!

2022-02-27What a beautiful establishment. The inside of the restaurant alone is a sight to look at. Of course the service was great. Our server Dwayne was lovely and gave us the best time. We got the 40oz porterhouse steak with the truffle butter sauce, bacon Brussels sprouts, and the coconut mango roll as an appetiser. The food came at a timely manner and all the staff were so courteous and attentive. There is a reason why the “Marble Room” is THE Marble Room. The place is on the pricier end and their specials can go up to $200+ for one dish so prepare yourselves and your wallets! It’s a great place to splurge on some delicious food, wine, and a luxurious atmosphere. A perfect time for a special celebration or birthday dinner with friends. Enjoy yourselves and don’t be shy - this is the night to splurge, drink, and be merry!!

2022-02-22The atmosphere of the place is great even though I think the music is too loud and more geared towards big city folks. The food was just pathetic for a high end Steakhouse. The bread was nothing but ordinary dinner rolls. The oyster Rockefeller was almost completely missing the oyster. The fillet was served Cold. Now, I can see how people who never get to leave Cleveland might think this place is great, but people like me who have traveled all over the country and the world, will tell you that this place is probably just for people from Cleveland.

2022-02-15What an incredible experience from start to finish. From valets to hosts to the waiter. A group of 6 of us came for Valentines Day. First off, I want to praise our waiter, Dion. He was nothing short of absolutely amazing. Everyones food was cooked to perfection. The cocktails were *chefs kiss*. The food... well Im glad I have left overs so I can re-live this meal. And let me just say... that cheesecake was.... Im speechless. Ive never had a cheesecake so creamy. I would go back here just for cocktails and dessert. What an amazing evening!

2022-01-12First experience at Marble Room was nothing shy of exceptional. The great service begins with the hostess and doesn’t end until you leave the restaurant. The ambience of the place is breathtaking. The food is great. We ordered the raw oysters (not pictured) and they were a delight. The steaks were cooked perfectly. We got the Brussels sprout (not pictures) and the Sweet Potato Mashed. Both tasted great. I will gladly go again and try more items from the menu. Happy to have a place like Marble Room in Cleveland.

2022-01-09I was in Ohio for a limited time and tried to get a reservation here for over a month. The book up about 8 weeks out so check their website the 1st of the month to get a reservation (I e., Jan 1st, booking for March).**Helpful Tip! Go earlier in the evening and sit at the bar or lounge area. Those cant be reserved and you may get lucky like we did. They do NOT allow you to just walk in and stand at the bar, like one gentleman learned, you must wait for an opening to be seated. After he tried to storm right past the hostess stand, they roped off the area so no one else could walk in.This restaurant is in a historic bank building. You can almost see where the bank teller cages would be. It is hard to believe that banks looked like this. The pics online do not even begin to show the awe and beauty of this place. It was absolutely stunning. I could just sit there and look around for hours. The detail in the architecture is amazing, like walking back in time with a modern flair. They also had salons upstairs and turned the old bank vaults in event space downstairs, but unfortunately they dont allow you to go into those areas.I cant comment too much on the table service since we sat at the bar. The bartender was pleasant and answered our questions about the history of the building. Now, onto the drinks and food...THE DRINKS: I love whiskey, so when I saw that they had a 12 hour Sous Vide Old-Fashioned, I had to try it. Keep in mind that it isnt always available and they dont tell you the price. I was surprised that it was only $22, but Im used to steep prices living in San Diego. The drinks were generous and although the drink was good I couldnt tell that it was really any different from a normal old-fashioned, but still worth it. They also had a fun cotton candy drink that they light up somehow for kids or anyone who wants a fun non-alcoholic drink.STARTERS: They had plenty of starters to choose from, plus other options and specials on a smaller card that was not on the menu. We chose the duck confit spring rolls with an Asian slaw. The spring rolls were crispy with a rich duck flavor. The slaw was light and tangy and a great compliment to the spring rolls.DINNER: Like I said above, they had other specials on a smaller card which had a 44oz Tomahawk steak for $230! We did not get this, but that would be fun to share with a group. They are known for their steaks, so we both had their dry-aged 14oz NY strip for $65. They cooked them both perfectly (med rare and medium) and they came out HOT. I hate getting a good steak and they come out luke warm. They were juicy and flavorful. For our sides, we shared the creamed spinach and marshmallow topped candied sweet potato casserole. The spinach was flavored perfectly and not overcooked, which tends to happen. The sweet potato casserole was good, however, I thought there was too much marshmallow to sweet potato ratio. They were good but not but not amazing and I probably wouldnt get them again.DESSERT: We ordered the Banana-Mango Panna Cotta and Baked Alaska. Id never had either before therefore Im unable to compare it to past experience. The baked Alaska was an extra special treat because they flambe it table side. See pics! It had a good cake to ice cream ratio with plenty to share. The Panna Cotta had a nice light vanilla flavor, I couldnt taste banana or mango, but that wasnt a bad thing. Its about as heavy as a pudding and had a salted carmel pour, topped with crunchy tapioca pearls. If you like custard then youll love this. What I liked most about both desserts was that they were not overly sweet or heavy. The desserts were very generous-no small portions here!I highly recommend this place for any special occasion or random weekday treat. Expect to pay about $100 per person.See my pics of our drinks, food and interior.

2022-01-02Our second visit to this place was even better than the first! The staff here is very respectful and will go out of their way for you. My wife and I decided that we would celebrate our anniversary here after the first visit. We actually showed up early expecting a wait and were seated relatively quick. Our waiter Marc was wonderful! Never had a glass go empty. The food has been amazing on both occasions. Mark was very knowledgeable on the cuts of meat and sauces that enhanced the flavor of the cut. At the end of our new year/anniversary celebration he even helped us by taking pictures for us to remember this perfect evening. Attached are a couple of pictures that our photographer/ waiter Mark took for us.

2022-03-29Dinner was delicious. Steak cooked to perfection, and the sushi was insane, dont skip the sush. Sides were incredible and drinks were stellar. Service was very attentive and professional. Music was a little much, but overall an incredible experience, and I cannot wait to come back.
