Freaking awesome place for the entire family! Im going to give you 5 stars because we had a great time! However please get those machines fixed. A ton of broken machines when we went. I imagine due to your high volume clientele. Nonetheless, great place overall and will return!
Do not come it during the covid. 85% is shut down. No Lazer tag no jungle gym over half the games are broken or turned off. They say its for COVID but their social distance efforts are canceled out by concentrating all the guest to the same 10 games that are open. Mini golf is the only thing worth spending any money on.
I have come MANY times with my family. The quality has suffered with age.The kid gym is getting pretty worn out. That said, it’s still very large and great for getting the wiggles out for younger kids. The laser tag isn’t open on weekdays (which proved to be a big disappointment to my son for his Tuesday evening birthday party).Go karts are always fun. Just know they are weather dependent (outside).Their Putt putt is much better than your average, as it actually winds around the fun landscape of the “mountain”. So its not your usual flat ground, cheesy putt putt.Arcade games are as expected.Pizza is, in my opinion, unremarkable. You can easily spend a lot of money here. And it is a nice way to get out of the house and do multiple things in one location. I will say, with the new Scene 75, which is completely indoors and newer, I am choosing to come here less often.
Its a great place for family fun, the kids had a great time and so did the adults. The go karts were fun but I found the place a bit disorganized as far logistics go. They have the rookie carts and the sprint cars in the same track, which makes for a lot of waiting. It was good, but not excellent
My Great Grandsons 6th birthday party was at the location near Polaris because it is much nicer than the ones closer to where he lives. This location is cleaner, well kept and the employees were helpful. There were a lot of activities for the half a million kids (actually there were about 200)--it just seemed like a whole lot more! You can book a room for a birthday party but we just sat in the big public area which was more accessible to the games, jungle gyms, etc.
Forgot to give a detailed review but here is my review and thoughts of this place.I had went here to check it out as I enjoy going to arcades, this place also offered a bunch of other things as well.So initial first impression was it looked pretty nice for it being tucked away in a dead end street basically so that was nice.As you walk in you were meet with a massive childrens play gym and a set of stairs, they had bumper cars and the arcade on one side the sales, prizes, food counter on the other and I didnt go down stairs but apparently thats where they had laser tag? They had two different go kart tracks which were closed when I went unfortunately I was looking forward to trying the drifting go karts but instead I did both golf courses and gotta say they were both very well designed and well maintained! As for the arcade majority of the games were out of order when I went which was kind of disappointing and they barely had a selection of games as is so that was very disappointing. The prize counter was another story so they had a wide selection of prizes but everything was insanely over priced, like the games gave next to nothing for tickets and they ask like one million for a rafting boat, sixty thousand for a cheap guitar. Youd be spending twenty times the amount it would to straight up buy it at a store then win it here. The staff though were super friendly though which was nice as well.
Was very disappointed with kids play zone - dirty, dusty, my oldest saw a vomit on the upper level. Staff is playing with a phone all the time, kids are running without socks or in shoes, going out from wrong slide that should be only for entrance - nobody follows the guidance rules and staff doesnt care. We wont be back
We paid 35$ a person for three hours of unlimited use. That was worth it. We went early enough there wasn’t any big crowds and we did the carts outside several times. I can’t comment on the food, we didn’t try any. Arcade games are typical. The play structure was closed when we went which was a bummer. That was the only thing fun for toddlers. It’s small, but we enjoyed three hours of just doing the carts outside with the bigger kids. More than enough seating and handicap friendly to get around in.Masks inside are not enforced.
This place was “okay” but majority of the games were out of order and the place is old - you can tell from looking at the outdated & unmaintained equipment. The decor is also icky and needs a good cleaning. The prices are extremely high for the value. The laser tag was also outdated and didn’t work very well. It smelled...The only thing this place had going for it was the go carts and bumper boats.
We attended magic mountain for a child birthday party. The girls that were helping host the party were very very nice but there were a few things that could have been better prepared for the guests and party room. My little cousin didnt have balloons on the table like parties weve had there in the past and we had to ask for them a few times. Things seemed a little unorganized as far as the pizzas coming out, although the pizzas were tasty. All of the kids had 3 activities to choose from and had a blast with go cars and the gym. Overall, we always enjoy ourselves when we visit magic mountain!
I had my sons 11th birthday party there which was going great until 4 bus loads of students from Dublin high school got there and they all went straight to the food line with only 1 cash register open. We stood in line for over an hour to order pizzas then had to wait another 30 minutes for the pizzas to cook.
Check out Lazer kraze before heading here unless you have little ones on the soft play area (didnt go on but looked like good fun!) I counted 9 machines with out of order signs on, a further 2 that just ate coins and there was only 2 activities available for mature kids (the adults) to do which was a waste of the 3 ride bands. The bar area wasnt open for anything either, despite it being lunchtime. Played mini golf, not the worst Ive been to but looked like it could use some TLC and this is a first time that the ladies restroom smelled terrible outside in the public area. The ladies I was with declared it a no go area ... Went to Lazer kraze after the time spent and was much nicer, cleaner and more value for cash IMO
The place was so dirty, I dont know if well ever go back. The womens bathroom was filthy, smelled terrible, and only one of the four stalls had toilet paper. Nearly all the hand sanitizer dispensers were empty as well.We played mini golf, and the course would be really nice if everything was pressure washed and the water features had fresh water. As it was, the AstroTurf on half the holes was caked with slippery black slime and the ponds were brown-black and scummy. The staff were friendly though, and if you could get past the grime the mini golf course was pretty fun.
Half the games were out of order!!! The kid that I asked to help me because my tickets didn’t come out came over opened the ticket door and then walked away to get tickets but had to stop and play air hockey with his friends before he actually brought me my tickets and then I went to another game and the game again proceeded to not give me my tickets so I went and found someone again and he called the other guy to get my tickets I stood there for almost 10mins and no one came!!! Waste of time and money !!!
Im here right now and this place is a joke! The worse experience my kids have at something like this! Employees are a joke watching my kid pinned in the corner of the bumper cars from the start and cant move out of it, operator does nothing about it. Half the machines are down guys walking around shaking the coin machines nothing being done about that. The tables are dirty! And now we get in line for go karts and the workers just walk away and leave us waiting.I would not recommend bringing your family here!
It was fun definitely a place to take smaller kids there is a massive play place that even teens would have fun in. There is only 2 go kart tracks and the second one is smaller and it is geared more twords smaller kids. The mini golf is massive my sister and her friends had to skip half of it and still took about an hour to get thru it.
The workers have a dry attitude not pleasant at all. We were not even greeted when we reached the counter to pay. Anytime you asked about questions about anything (new comers from out of town) they acted as if you were a bother to them. Lastly, everything is over priced and about 1/3 of the actually games in the arcade were working properly. ITS A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY AND AN UNCOMFORTABLE ATMOSPHERE TO BRING YOUR CHILDREN.
I used to love to take my family there. They still have great attractions but the place has gone down hill. The putt putt course at Polaris needs manicured and worked on. And there were games not working. They no longer have a restaurant to sit and eat, the seat cushions on chairs were ripped, and the place doesnt look as clean as it ued to. I wish these things could change because I love the place.
Absolute worst experience Ive ever had at a magic mountain. Heck any kid place Ive ever been too. Rude and inconsiderate employees. Its supposed to be fun for kids but you have employees that are rude and nasty towards kids. Waited almost 30 minutes online to get tickets and they didnt know what to do they kept standing around. Was told to go in for laser tag went in the room for laser tag and then told they didnt have enough vest that worked. Ended up just leaving and giving our tickets to other people.
Wow, just wow. Greens on golf course was covered in mud, half the go-carts on both tracks didnt run so the lines were long AF, arcade games were a rip-off, some worked, some didnt and the ones that did work say 4 tokens but you put in 8 for them to actually work. Food stand opened a few hours late, shall I stop there? Id give the guys running the go-cart tracks standing out in the heat all day a raise. I think they are the ones keeping this place open.
It was okay. The golf course is so moldy and slick its just an accident waiting to happen. We had to get our money back for laser tag because the guns wouldnt work. The staff was nice and helpful though. Everything feels grimey and gross and the restrooms 🤮. If they would just clean everything up and stop neglecting the place it would be so much better.
This place is not worth the money. It cost about $40-45 EACH for rides and games. There were games that didnt work. Tokens werent dispersed. Teens and young adults run the show. I didnt see an employee over 25....swear. Attractions boats and go carts didnt work so the lines took forever (even with less than 5 ppl in line.) We wont be back anytime soon. Could have went to a whole amusement park for this price.
When we went to magic mountain in Polaris Ohio the first time most of the arcade games were out of order and they were only a little bit of arcade games! Most of My favorite arcade games were out of order and they don’t like to fix it at all!!! Like the Jurassic park arcade game was out of order and the space invaders was also out or order too and more!!!!! And also they don’t have hand sanitizer as well!!The restroom soap was broken and they did not fix it and also one of the hand dryers were broken and they did not fix it!! And they don’t clean the play area as well and the arcade games too! They also use tokens and takes a long time to insert tokens because they’re actually 4 tokens!! Well I don’t know about the other location but I hope they do those bad habits in the other location well I hope not.
No air conditioning on a 90 degree August day in the video games area...50 bucks in tokens (I understand that prizes at places like these are bad everywhere, but...) and my kids got 55 tootsie rolls and a small foam rocket for their tickets. All the prizes are absurdly out of reach and overpriced, and many of the games were put of order.(The photo booth had a blue screen of death😐, )Anyway, definitely wont be going back, even tho I totally thought I knew what I was getting into. This is the worst of this type of place.
We went to the Polaris location to have a nice family fun day. We decide to play a around of put put. The tge whole put-put area need to be updated. The greens had the fake grass ripped in areas and needed updated. We went inside to play games. The employes was very slow and didnt care about helping people. The rather talk with their coworkers. Most of the games didnt work or when they did they just took your tokens and didnt give ypu your tickets. There was no type of management there kids was just running crazy pushing other kids way from their games they was playing to take over and steal their tickets. People outsidethe front door was smoking weed. We was so upset we didnt even use all are tokens. We just packed our kids up and left.
Probably wont be returning. The arcade was a disaster.... Several were out of order and about half of them didnt work and just took your tokens. Entire place smelled awful. Mini golf was decent. The Go-Karts were the best part of the place and they were just OK...... Several broke down or had issues while we were riding and waiting in line.
Im giving two stars today because while we were there any line you had to get in you didnt know where it started you didnt know where it ended and did people were just scattered all over the place. People were just jumping in front of you. None of the employees were doing anything about it. Not to mention my daughter went and played laser tag and got shoved and kicked by another person and again the employees didnt do anything about it. I really feel like they need to get some order in that establishment. Also the guy running the Junior go-karts was rude with the children for what I felt like was no reason at all. All in all the kids had fun but for me and my wife it was an experience we could have done without.
I took my son there to ride the go carts and my older daughter met us we had a lot of fun we also did lazer tag together it was a good way to spend time with my kids. The only thing was it seem to be hot in the bulidimg too like the air conditioning was low or off other than that was fun place to go we go back again and do the go carts and maybe golfing .
This place is in dire need of some cleaning and maintenance. The inside of the building has a musky moldy smell and I approached the bathrooms upstairs before you make it out to the mini golf courses there was a pretty strong sewage smell coming from the bathrooms that made me gag and almost lose my lunch. The bathrooms downstairs by the laser tag and kids play area were WAY cleaner though. The mini golf course itself is in need of some new turf as there were chunks missing and mold on some of the holes. I only gave this 2 stars because my son had a blast and the only reason I will be returning is because I still have 4 attraction tickets to use. But after that I will choke up the extra money to goto Scene 75.
Most games are out of order, tickets counted incorrectly, did not give us the purchased mini golf tickets until we requested a manager. We had to argue about the total ticket sum and show them the correct addition on our phone calculator app. They need to get their games fixed and train employees.
This place has gone down hill, we called ahead and asked about deals and we got directed to a Groupon deal that gave us 4 tickets to any of the activities and 80 tokens for around $20. We get there and everything except for mini golf is closed. So we use all of the tokens on the ten games that are working, and we lose about ten tokens to machines. The golf course needs cleaned and maintenance. It’s too easy to hit your ball into the water. The prizes for the games suck. You either get plastic or save up enough tickets to get something good, but worth their only being a few working games, nobody sane enough would ever stay that long. It was a horrible experience. I would give it a zero if i could.
Half their arcade games are out of order and half of those working will eat your tokens.Just because they are open till 11 doesnt mean everything there is open till 11 including food and drink area. Ordered food that took way too long and then couldnt order drinks because it was closed.Only thing positive was the kids play area.
For this location to be located in Polaris, youd expect way better from this company. By far the worst experience ever. Brought 300 tokens for $50 which was a good deal. However more than 60% of the games were either out of order, not giving out tickets or not games that offer ticket rewards. Now stuck with almost 200 tokens to take home since they cant be refunded. Majority of games had a payout of less that 50 tickets while a single peice of candy cost a child 100 tickets. Which is completely unfair to the children who play and the parents who pay. The food was horrible. I consider this family trip a complete loss. $50 on tokens $60+ on food not to mention or valuable time inwhich we cannot get back. Thank God we didnt purchase a party package then our loss would be much greater. I will strongly consider the competition before returning here. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND MAGIC MOUNTAIN POLARIS to any family or friends. I WONT EVEN BRING MY FAMILY BACK TO. ATTEND SOMEONES ELSE PARTY. THE SERVICE HERE IS ALSO WELL BELOW STANDARD. PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! READ REVIEWS AND TAKE THEM INTO STRONG CONSIDERATION BEFORE BRINGING YOUR FAMILY TO THIS LOCATION IF YOU WANT TO AVOID LOSING MONEY, TIME AND NOT BEING ABLE TO ENJOY YOURSELF HERE... GO TO CHUCKY CHEESE OR JUST HAVE A PARTY AT HOME TRUST ME YOULL COME OUT BETTER DOING SO
Would give zero stars if it let me. Place was dirty and most games were out of order. None of the associates knew where the manager was. Not enough associates for this day stood in line for tokens for 30 minutes as they only had one place to purchase them. They had very little prizes most bins were empty.I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. If anything this location should be shutdown and deep cleaned.
Booked a birthday party here and it is so disorganized. Took 30 mins to get checked in with tokens, wristbands, etc. When it came time to get food the people at the food counter had no idea how to enter the orders using the tickets provided. For what it costs, this should be much much better tan than this. Save yourself the trouble and book a party somewhere else. Will not be coming back.
If I could rate 0, I would. More than half the arcade games are out of order or don’t even have a sign saying they do not work. There was pizza all over the floors in arcade area. One of the employees kept sneezing but never covered her mouth and didn’t even have her mask pulled up. None of the employees had their masks on correctly. And to top it off, a group of women were talking about jumping someone that was there around a bunch of little children. This isn’t it.
This place was slightly less disgusting than the one on the east side. I mean we live on the east side and choose to drive to Polaris hoping it was cleaner than ours well just slightly. There where only 3 hand sanitizer spots that had anything in them and when I told them they did nothing. Hand rails where sticky and there wasnt anyone walking around wiping anything off after after being touched be houndreds of kids. I realize it was our option to go there but I feel if they are going to offer that kind of service it their obligation to keep it up to a safe standard.
This place just gets worse with time. Almost no games work. Either they are out of order, eats your tokens, or no tickets. On your way out to the go carts you could smell the nasty bathrooms as you walked by. Let alone having to stomach to actually walk in. Customer service was very poor. Save your money. This place is a joke!
Wow. We will literally never be back. Today I brought an 8 year old & a 10 year old. The front desk suggested that they could both ride the Kiddie Karts, which tipped us over into doing the 3 hour unlimited pass for $35. We went out to ride karts at 12:15 but were told the karts didnt open until 1:00 (an hour into our pass). When we went at 1:00, there were ZERO regular kart riders, but a manager told us they didnt have the staff for to open the Kiddie Karts that day. I explained that the karts were the only reason we bought the unlimited pass, and the manager looked at me like tough luck and said he was sorry. I told him he should probably let the front desk know that they dont open Kiddie Karts on weekdays. Later, he approached and said we could come out for one ride at 1:40. When they finally rode, one car was super slow compared to the others. Disappointing to say the least. In the bumper cars, the attendant left without saying a word while my kids were waiting in line. When I told him they wanted to ride, he turned around and said he had to get a rag to sanitize the cars. First, it would have been simple to let them know thats where he was going. Second, they are not sanitizing any of the games or the entire kidsgym between uses, so this bumper car cleaning seems like hygiene theater. In the arcade, we lost tokens on 3 different games in a row. The third time I went to the desk to ask about tokens, they just gave me 20 tokens because so many of their games are broken that they just know to expect it.The kidsgym attendant was very nice. This place used to be fully functional and lots of fun. I can see why it is a deserted wasteland now.
We came here excited for putt putt and go karts only to be disappointed by the dilapidated putt putt course. There was moss, rips in the turf, mold, uneven putting squares. With covid making a comeback they are definitely lacking on sanitation 100%, all the hand sanitizer stations were completely empty, putting clubs were being used and put back and used by the next group and go karts were not sanitized after being used. There aren’t many options for this kind of activity around here but I will definitely not be returning in the future. I do give credit to the workers though because they are definitely under staffed but they are trying to be accommodating and not be overwhelmed.
If I could give a negative star review I would. We took a mini vacation in Columbus. This was the most run down, dirty, unprofessional place I’ve ever been. Especially when it’s a place for kids. THEY STOLE OUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION!! The two ladies working the desk said we “left” it there & handed it to me a half hour later. I knew something was up. The manager was nowhere to be found, you would think he would catch his employees stealing credit card information but no. They bought food, hair extensions, door dash & more. If you want to risk identity theft bring your children here. You would think bringing a 2 year old & an 8 month old in they’d have restraint because we have a family to feed. But no, hair extensions & chipotle & door dash was worth stealing money from a family. DONT GO HERE.
This place was so gross and disappointing. We went to go play some lazer tag and when we walked into the building, the inside smelled like a dirty pool. As we went downstairs for lazer tag, the smell morphed into a musty basement smell. The attendant was very unfriendly and acted like he hated his job. The lazer tag area was so sad. Bad smell, completely silent (no music), and my gun stopped working halfway through. We left immediately after one round and will never come back.
The go karts were the best part. Mini golf wasn’t bad. The arcade was awful, half of the machines didn’t work and the ones that did just took your tokens and you couldn’t play. Or they didn’t give any tokens when they were supposed to. They were out of a lot of food and you could only get pizza if you ordered a whole pizza and not just a slice. Laser tag was pretty cool, the play area was closed because of covid.
We went as a family. Not busy when we were ther, yet facility was dirty, not stocked, bathrooms were awful and not a single ounce of soap in the building. Customer service was weak to the point the employees can’t speak. Poor experience at what use to be a great place.
My party of 10 showed up 45 min before close and all outside stuff was already closed. Then lasertag they only had 6 gun/ vests to play. Again party of 10. This is the second.time this place has closed early this summer when we were trying to get the kids out. Not happy customer here.
Havent been here in years and I remember this location being the better of the two. However thats no longer the case. Every single game I played had some type of an issue. The reload wouldnt work or the trigger was broken. 3 games just had out of order tags on them. The couple driving games that they did have either the special features didnt work or it was a steering issue. One of the basketball games was embarrassing also. One really over inflated ball which caused the ball to nipple out and one so under inflated it would barely make it back down the ramp. I lived on the east side when I resided in Columbus and would come out here because this location offered more and had better games and more options but seems it hasnt been up kept over the years. Ill know longer invest my money here for fun the return isnt worth it any longer.
I cant speak for the inside gaming area, but the miniature golf course was a disaster. My guess is it sat during Covid and wasnt tended to at all. Then when restrictions lifted they simply reopened without even checking to see the state of the holes. Most holes were in dire need of a power washing or some other form of maintenance as there was a slick dark mildew on each hole. There was standing water in the cups, and you would have to fish the ball out. The light was out in the tunnel and at night it was reminiscent of a horror film. Its really sad to see what this has become.
Mini golf was ripped up and moldy, go carts did not open until 2 hours after we got there (not disclosed until we bought passes already and went to go ride them), a quarter of the games did not work properly, the bumper boats were not open, had to find someone to open the climbing area. Just overall going downhill and felt bad for the staff that did show up that day. Felt to me like the owner had abandoned them.
Wasnt super happy to get there and find the kids gym was closed. I thought it might be with everything but looked online and it was listed as an open attraction, tried to call and couldnt get through. So really only had the arcade. Front desk did let me trade an attraction pass for tokens so that was nice. Most of the games broken though.
The good attractions,go carts, laser tag etc are only open weekends, that was a disappointment, but it was clean, some what decent customer service a 4 out of 10! Crazy cause the east location was not clean, food and pop was horrible!!!! But the hospitality of the young lady working was 8 out of 10 💯
Disappointing honestly. Did mini golf. The greens need updated. Go karts, stood in line and one was running near the railing needed serviced and a couple of games were down. Ordered a couple slices of pizza and a hotdog. Long wait for the hotdog and had to get someone to see what the holdup was since there were several people in the kitchen. For the amount of employees I saw on phones, chatting with coworkers, and the cost there, would figure that at least some of the things could get accomplished.
Do not waste your money having a birthday party there or even taking your kids there for fun!!! My 12 year old grandson had his birthday party there and it was the worst party ever...The place was dirty employees was rude and the party room had mold on the ceiling and wall ugh DONT WASTE YOUR $$$$$
Im not 1 to give reviews but...I wish I could leave 0 stars!!! This used to be the nice magic mountain...I was very disappointed with the equipment, and sanitation...most games are broken, eating tokens...the staff are all on their phones texting or talking to people.. the put put was the nicest part of our trip...defiantly not what it used to be and the entire group was disappointed!! Very diry 🤢
Games were very outdated, half didnt work or dispense correct tickets and/or didnt register when you inserted the credits. The prize counter had very little selection, and what was available was very tacky and pointless toys, for a ridiculous amount of tickets, you might add...U was highly disappointed with this place, dont recommend especially for the money you spend.
Very horrible customer service, the maintenance team isnt great either. Half of the games didnt work. We bought the 3 hr unlimited pass and half of that stuff wasnt able to be done either. Overall a very horrible experience. They should redo their games and activities and retrain their employees.
Was visiting from out of town! Stars are for customer service the staff was very friendly but place is out dated. These pictures are not accurate! The arcade was horrible most of the games took your tokens or didnt work at all. We left gave the tokens we had to some children that were there and went to Star Lanes Polaris which had games, bowling, pool, and even a 3D adventure. I wish we knew about Star Lanes first.
We brought the family this evening and had a horrible time. After purchasing a $15 wristband for our daughter to do 3 activities, we found that none of the small child activities were open except the playground, and no one bothered to tell us before we paid. So, we basically just overpaid to go to the kidsgym. Then, the young man running the kids area was disgusting. He smelled horribly of body odor, kept wiping sweat with his hands and coughing into his hands, and then touched the kids hands coming in to mark their wristbands. My 4 year old knows better hygiene.I stood in line to buy food, and waited 30 minutes to place my order with only 3-4 people in line. The man serving was annoyed that I wanted ice in my drink, because he was out and has to run to the back to get it. Everyone was visibly annoyed by the wait, but the cashier never offered a single apology or even a smile. When I got to my table, I found hair in my pizza. Then in the arcade area, a third of the games were marked out of order. We put tokens into at least 5 other games that were not working, but were not marked as such. So much wasted money today. Finally, a random metal gate sat between a wall and a game. I assumed it was attached to the wall, until my toddler walked too close to it and it crashed down on him, hitting him in the head and pinning him to the floor.I brought the safety concerns to the manager, who was very apologetic and had them corrected. However, he offered no restitution. I really feel everyone there tonight deserves their money back. It was such a waste.
This was beyond a sad experience, the machines worked 30% of the time...very underwhelming for a excited child. Lost a good portion of tokens due to poorly maintained games. Theres an beautiful cloud of dust looming over most objects in the building. While social distancing is already a hard practice in this establishment understandably many patrons were without masks. The staff appeared depressed and questioning their employment choices. The grounds were littered with white bags and the restroom mens had fecal laced paper towels on the floor which added to the already powerful foul smell. At one time this was a nice place to bring a kid and have a good time but in the last year or so it has slipped and fallen.
Magic Mountain Fun Center - Polaris Is A NO GO , I Booked & Paid For My Sons Party In Full A Month Ago I Get Here They Double Booked My Room …..Than After They Figure Out Where They Putting Us The Food Was Nasty They Shorted Us On Coins & The Server Had A Bad Attitude Nothing Worked All They Games Is Out Of Order Save Yoself The Headache I Wouldn’t Even Rate Them A 0👎
This is a great place to bring your children for birthday parties or just for some fun! The outdoor and indoor zones are both equally as fun, but the outdoor zones would be more fun for the older people including parents and teenagers. There is a part exclusively for children which includes a climbing station and video games. Teenagers can go and play the games as well as go karts and mini golf. There is also a place for parents to go while their children roam around the building. Of course, children under 12 should be supervised. There is also special costs for certain ages. This is very fun for people of all ages, but especially good for children.
Wow the years havent been do go to this place. Its run down and management and ownership should be ashamed that its so run down and not taken care of. Putt putt was absolutely out of control with ripped up greens not to mention standing water on some holes. This place needs a full make over to bring it back up to date.
My kids had a great time. I had never been, so we went for my sons birthday. The place could really use an update. The staff seemed like they had a job but didnt necessarily enjoy it. We were just one more family of the many. We made it clear it was our first time and they made it clear it wasnt their first time. The kids working there were really focused on their smart phones and we seemed to be taking away from that on a slow day. The kids didnt seem to mind and want to go back for another birthday. Maybe it will be better in the future.
The outdoor activities are fun and I could give 5 stars for those. However, but so many games my kids want to play dont work. The play space for younger kids use to be a little more secure with an attendant only letting kids in or out if they were with an adult. Now my kids can walk in and out before I get to them.
I wouldnt be surprised if this became a COVID super spreader. Went here for putt putt a few weeks ago after late lunch, and it was one of the first beautiful days of spring. Parking lot was packed, which should have deterred us right away. The entrance had people packed like sardines, and each of 3 lines to buy attraction passes were long and at a snails pace. After 5min of standing in place, uncomfortably close to far too many patrons, we went elsewhere.
Overall, if you want a cheaper place to let your kids run around and play games for a bit its a good place to go. However they opened their mini golf but no waterfalls working which may be normal since it just started getting warm and all the greens had holes and ripples through it making it really hard to play. We ordered pizza and fries and the food was terrible! Im not expecting gourmet at all but the pizza wasnt even cooked all the way and tasted like cardboard and they burnt our fries to where they were dark brown. They didnt have any normal size straws and all condiments were out and the snack sitting area was filthy!
We booked a party, under the impression the kids would be able to play (weird right?) When we got there my 4 year old was kicked or of the play area for not having a wristband. Ok, no problem, they come with the package. We asked the attendant who said our server would have them in ten minutes. After waiting about 30 we were told the children couldnt play until after the party was over. Which of course we were never told. We were told it was a sure managers decision. What kind of a company not only neglects to tell their customers vital information about their contracts?! Also, the food was absolutely disgusting and EVERYTHING was sticky. If we had known what we were getting into we never would have paid for theyre service they absolutely ruined his birthday
Very enjoyable area. The play tower is big, although very difficult for a parent to follow their child if they are uncomfortable going alone. Some things are a bit dirty. The ball area in the middle needs a bit of love and repairs. Some good chunk of things didnt work properly.Food prices arent exactly cheap, but the pizza was surprisingly good. The sauce is nice and bold, the cheese is well portioned. As for the staff, they were attentive, but not going out of their way to help you. More of a I see you, and I have to do this vibe.
More than half of the arcade games were broken. Of the ones that were working, they were out of tickets. I would give 5 stars to one of the staff members, while getting the tokens I left my phone. My phone also doubles as my wallet and the nicest guy, got my ID out and came and found me to return the phone! Give this guy a raise! I had not even realized I lost it until he brought it to me! My kids love Magic Mountain, please service your arcade!!! Also, bathrooms are gross!
We used to love this place. It was clean, everything worked and it was a fun place to be. We visited more than once. Not anymore. It was gross. it was filthy, things were broken and unstocked. The childrens gym area was very dirty. The carpeting looked like it hadnt been vacuumed in weeks. The carpet edging and walls were even worse. The laser maze was very dirty. There was gum on the floor of the entry room that had obviously been there a very long time. The arcade games were filthy, about 1/3 of the games we tried to play were out if order, took our coins or didnt give out the tickets owed. The bathrooms were dirty especially the mens room. When we went to cash out our tickets, they barely had anything in stock. The attendants apologized and offered us ticket vouchers for next time. They acted like this was a regular occurrence now.Everything behind the counter was dirty and covered in dust/dirt.Over all this place appears to be being let go...and not cleaned.Very disappointing. This place used to be an awesome place to visit.
This place is dirty, and be careful buying tokens, because most of the games are broke. I remember when I used to love taking my kids here. Now that it has been a few years and I have another toddler, I was looking forward to doing something fun with her.Disappointing that the website did not share the fact that she was not tall enough for anything except the gym. She can ride the tilt-a-whirl at the fair, but cant be a passenger in weak bumper boats or a go-cart. After spending about 20 minutes trying to end her crying because she couldnt go in a car, we went to the arcade. It seemed there were more out of order signs than working games, and many of the games that didnt have signs didnt work either, but we wouldnt find that out until we dumped tokens in to it.The kids gym was very unclean. Malls do a better job cleaning than a place that encourages families. Finally, we stood in line for 30 minutes to cash in our ticket (the only games that even worked were a few ticket games). They had 1 person handling the prize area on a holiday weekend. All that to get a few plastic bugs and Tootsie rolls, but we had to do something to make up for not being able to do the go-carts.All-in-all, I will never return here until they clean this place up and fix all the issues....and there are a lot. Poorly managed establishment. Save your money.
Just visited for the first time.... GREAT place for the kids to have fun but PLEASE keep an eye on you kids!!! The employees can’t be bothered to get off the phone for 2 seconds to close the gate to the gym. The later it gets all you smell is weed and it gets pretty ghetto. GO EARLY IN THE DAY AND WATCH YOUR KIDS!!! also, if you get food the pagers do not work!
Really disappointed. This used to be the only nice location in Columbus and now it’s just trashy. Nothing works and half the stuff doesn’t tell you it’s out of order so you just waste the money you spend because no one is gonna run up to the counter every time a game takes your tokens. It’s a gamble. There’s no supervision enforced for other children and in whole is outdated and dirty. The carpets smell the play area smells and looks dirty everything is falling apart. As much money as people spend and as long as they have been around I expected more especially when it’s the fall season as they provide an inside experience.
Went to this place today. Had a blast! The golf was cool.... Especially when the water from the fountain was misting on you. The go karts were fun, I got a fast car. The Laser Tag was awesome, I love Laser Tag!The only concern I have is the restrooms. If you need to use the restroom, go to the restrooms downstairs, the one on the main level isnt very clean or in very good shape.
I remember coming here as a kid and recently brought my friend and her daughter here. The little one had a great time in the Kid’s Gym ($6.50 per child) which is located on the lower level of the building. It seemed like some of the features in the gym did not work but that didn’t stop any of the kids from having fun.
I went with a friend and her family to celebrate her daughters birthday. 30%of the games were out of order. I felt like I was at magic mountain on the east side🙄 . the line for food was ridiculous. There was only 1 young lady there on a Saturday night. Unbelievable!! I felt so bad for her because she was so overwhelmed and all the guests were mad at her and it wasnt her fault. 1 lady waited 45min just for loaded fries. They ended up refunding her money. My pizza was done and my buzzer went off. I waited 15min for my pizza and no one came around with it to the food counter. I had to literally go in the kitchen and ask the lady for my pizza....smh. you guys really need to do better. Im super disappointed. You guys are getting just as bad at the east side. I couldve saved gas and went there instead of going all the way to Polaris. At least the pizza was good and my kids still had fun.
Had a birthday party all planned for 3pm my guest arrived and they told my guest about my reservation not being until 6pm without my consent or even calling me. First off I booked online and made payment for my party and the reservation was for 3pm so I sent the confirmation to my guest and the girl tells me they will get a room ready. Finally they get the room ready by 315-20.. basically was filling my own pop and cleaning my area most the time then I was rushed out at 430. Not happy with this whole process recommend management needs to take a look at reservations better before telling guest what is going on.
Had wrist bands for my kids birthday party, they were supposed to get 3 hours to play at any of the attractions, but by the time they all waited in the go kart line, they were only able to play a round of laser tag and go to the gym area. Would have been cheaper just to go down a package and get 3 attraction tickets since thats all they have time for in the 3 hours the wrist bands give you. Kids had to go potty and left the gym area, when they went to get back in, they werent allowed since it was a few minutes after the time on the bands. Had to get attraction tickets so they could get back in and was told to hold onto the ticket stub so they could get back in later. Asked the kid working why that little stub could get them back in and not the wrist band, he didnt know, it was just the rules. We did have a great party planner though, and the kids had a great time.
The go carts were fine, the bumper boats were fine, laser tag was fine. The indoor arcade was useless. Less than half of the games were working. And it just flat out stunk like backed up sewer. The staff members working outside were all short and rude. The staff at the prize window were nice and patient.
I notice that it has decined significantly in the past 5 years. Lots of broken games and torn carpet, lights out, water stagnant on the putt putt course. Not all bad though. The putt putt is fun and not awful. It was very pretty in most places this past weekend (mid September 2020)
Really disappointed in this location. Under staffed where food took literally forever to get since it was a Saturday night and only one person at food counter. 75% of the games either were out of order or took our coins. That was just crazy and frustrating. The place was very dirty. Trash every where and spills on the ground where you had to walk over. Kids still had a good time but as a parent, I expected much better considering the location.
Staff has really bad attitude problems, gives me an alert for my food and it never went off 30 minutes for pretzel and cheese, I go to the counter and ask for my food and she hands me the pretzel and Im like wheres the cheese!? She gets the cheese and slams it on the counter, like wow. Wont be back.
Magic Mountain Fun Center of Polaris was really fun and interactive. We went for my sons sixth birthday party, and we brought along some of his friends and some of their parents came along as well. We had a pizza party in one of the party rooms that they had there. There were different types of pizza to order and different drink options to choose from. I believe there was an option for hotdogs as well, but we went with pizza. After pizza and gifts, the kids got to go play in the huge kids jungle gym Playland area they had netted off. It was 2 stories high. There was also laser tag that we played in teams. It was dark in the room with obstacles and neon paint. The other player ran around trying to shoot each other with their laser guns that were attached to their backpack that you had to shoot to get them out. It was very fun. Then we went upstairs to play in the huge arcade they have. We spent forever in there. My son and his friends all won prizes they got to get in exchange for their tickets they had won playing the arcade games. There are also other activities available, but unfortunately, they were closed the day we went. They include: Go-Karts, Miniature Golf, Bumper Boats! Magic Mountain is a pay-as-you-go park, so if you dont want to do every activity, or they arent available, you dont have to pay for them. There is no entrance or admission fee, and also, the parking is free. So what are you waiting for? Take your kids, or yourselves to Magic Mountain Fun Center of Polaris!!
Facility was a bit dated. We were disappointed because go karts were not available and nothing on the website noted. It also did not mention bumper boats although it was understandable those were closed during the winter. The staff also seemed reluctant to be there with very few smiles or much engagement. The playground and arcade were busy so it would be nice to see some investment into better communication, staff training, and updating the experience.
The quality of the prizes leave quite a bit to be desired. Needing 4500 tickets to win Xbox 360 games is a bit ridiculous. The play area is large and easily visible from chairs outside so parents dont have to be in there to watch their kids. The game section is fun and perfect for little kids. The whole building could be a bit cleaner. The floors were quite sticky.
There are a lot of activities for all ages. The staff is awful, Untrained, and are not helpful. Possible to have a good time as long as no interaction with staff is needed. Example no one running snack bar, workers simply walk away and leave unattended. A lot of games with simple problems have out of order stickers put on. Not enough staff for each area. Left waiting. Staff that run activities are quiet, rude, and unaware of surroundings.
We had a great experience having our 10 year old sons birthday party here. We purchased a party package, and we were very pleased with the options and the assistance provided. Maria, the party captain, was very helpful! Our son and the 10 other boys had a really fun time, and we would go there again.
My kids and I had a great time. However, I climbed up into the play place with my kids, and the urine smell in all the tunnels was really strong. Ive always climbed up into the play places with my kids, and this was by far the worst and strongest urine smell Ive ever experienced. Other than the obvious cleanliness issue, we really had a good time.
I go here once a year for a siblings birthday party. Year over year, I expect the owners to reinvest part of their earnings to keep the establishment up. Each year Im disappointed. Ive witnessed this location go from being acceptable years ago to unclean, and non-working today. We play laser tag and arcade games each year. Last year, the laser tag was is good working order and everyone had fun. However, about half of the arcade games I tried playing didnt operate (took the token). This year the laser tag was completely non-functioning. They charge $7.50 per round, and give you a phaser that doesnt work. Out of the 9 people we had in our group, half could not play each round. They were forced to play without being able to tag the other team. Fortunately they did offer a refund but that doesnt make up for the mismanagement of equipment. At $7.50 per person, you absolutely should be able to take a weekends revenue and invest in new equipment. Also, please update your intro video from the 1990s that explains common sense items (tag the other team) and nothing you actually want to know (how much points are worth for hitting someone, home-base or a sensory pod).
Its fun, but the food is not that great, the prizes are ridiculously priced, most of the good games were either broken with an out of order sign or just broken. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful. My kids like the bumper cars, the water boats and the golfing the the most. It is a little better than Chuck E Cheese as far as more to do. However, I like Chuck E Cheese pizza as and food selection much better and there prizes are more reasonably. Overall it was good which is why I gave a 3 start.
Half of the games either don’t work or are out of tickets, the machines are nearly half of the tokens we bought, my kids wanted to do laser tag, so we go down there, nobody manning the counter and it smelled strongly like marijuana .. after we finally found a way to use our tokens we went to cash in the tickets.. the girl at the counter shorted my son on his prizes and when I told her where her mistake was she was very rude. It felt like a horrible rip off. I’m a single dad and can’t do these things all the time.. when it goes like this it hits even worse. My kids deserved a better time than this.
They do absolutely no repairs on the kids area. Nothing really works in the tube play area. A bunch of the stuff down there would be really cool and fun for the kids but none of it works. The pizza dosent taste the greatest but thats to be expected from this kind of place but the bathrooms could atleast be cleaner. And the workers look drugged and sad but i guess thats to be expected also lol.The reason it gets atleast 2 stars though is because if you rent out the party space you atleast get a devider between partys and food and drinks and some tokens are thrown in and the kids have a good time running around for a bit. They will get more of my money if they can make the maintenance of the building children will be playing in a priority.
In spite of reading some poor reviews, we took a chance and went withour twin Grand Daughters on 7/16/2017. The downstairs kid play centeris dirty and 2 of the 3 ball machines were out of order. The comatoseattendant sat there, virtually doing nothing. Never got out of his chair andthere is no explanation as to why he was there. He should have been atthe Rookie Karts to help. They put down a white substance that blowsall over the place, coats the cars and occupants and prevents tire wearwhich is a cheap way of preventing tire grip. Totally Rediculous. The linewait was horrible as they only have 3 karts for adults and 3 for kids ! Our first attendant ran karts 2 times for adults, then alternate 2 times forkid riders. Her female replacement was barely 90 pounds soaking wet and had a very hard time pushing karts which had spun out. She wasreplaced by a boy who asked for DRIVERS LICENCES! I am 72, and my son is 46.. He said it was the rules! Never mind the total inconsistencyof rules here! Never go there again. Staff is poorly trained, poorly dressedand inconsistent. The reviews about equipment out of order are all true.Water boats look like they were salvaged from a war zone. Several of them were out of order! The standards here are woefully lacking.
Great place for games for kids 14 and below, but be advised the hood has taken over and there are people who smell like weed, go around 12 in the afternoon for better experience. The food is not good and very over priced. I would advise to eat before you go and one last thing, they are very under staffed during the weekends so you will be waiting a long time for everything. You have been warned impatient people out there.
I know its all about the children, Im not here to deny them anything. But due to covid-19 it really changes everything. They have to space people out, right? So many of the machines were unplugged in the huge Play Gym of Nets and ladders and slides its was all closed. So sad. Just think if you had to crawl through that huge gym of netting wiping it down disinfecting it! It is what it is. Go karts for fun Putt-Putt was flooded for my earlier downpour. Cant blame Magic Mountain for the rain either.
Great place to take your kids on a rainy day. Only complaint was many of the games were out of order, broken or didnt have tickets in them when you won. There was a few employees going around putting tickets in. They have a huge jungle gym for kids to climb on, up, through and slides. Id recommend taking your little ones just for that.
It mostly has to do with the time of year. No go carts or mini golf. We got there and it just seemed dead and lifeless, mainly for children. If you have kids, great, go for it. But if youre looking for an outing for an adult, that isnt in the summer, maybe skip out on this place.
Two stars only because the gocarts are still fun. Otherwise, nothing seems to work properly. Most games are either marked out of order or they simply take your tokens without giving tickets or letting you play. The games cost too much for them to not be functional. The people dont watch their kids and they act like wild animals running around stealing other kids tickets, coins, and game play. It doesnt seem like anything gets cleaned ever. The employees are not usually nice. We dont enjoy going here anymore.
I recently went to Magic Mountain in the spring time so it was kind of chilly. They did a great job to keep the place warm. The go karts were fun. The line went fast and the rides were long. It was awesome. The things I didnt like was the place wasnt so clean. People were cheating and getting tickets. When the guy came to refill the tickets they were telling him a false number and getting a lot of tickets. When I played laser tag my suit wasnt making noises ,and my gun wasnt changing modes. The last thing that got on my nerve was when I was trading in my ticket most of the prizes were out of stock. A lot of nonworking machines. I hope this could get better.
Just had my sister’s 10th birthday party. Although we never visited Magic Mountain Polaris. She went with a friend and loved it. I looked at different places and decided this was the best place for the price. It was a little more crowded then I expected. I also figured it was spring break. The kids had a blast and the trained captain/host Kahlee was the absolute best host! We were the last party that day and she allowed us to stay in the room area and wait on the kids. She had everything ready to go when asked. Although Magic Mountain Polaris was a little far from us in grove city. I was absolutely impressed with their service and staff. Only issue was the restrooms not being clean or toilet paper stocked. We had over ten kids and every one of them loved it. Pizza was delicious! We would definitely be back for another party. We also plan on going back in the summer for the outdoor activities. Although it rained all day we loved the place and the prices.
Great place for Kids Parties. They have a huge section downstairs for PARTIES. They have a Game room Arcade with Bumper Cars upstairs. Down stairs are the party rooms and a huge jungle gym area for the minis. Also they have lazer tag downstairs. Outside is a golf course and Go-Karts. Its a pretty big place. They also have food available for the parties. The basic (Pizza, Nachos, Hot Dogs, Cotton Candy, Soda, Etc)
We went there today, all 7 of us and well, this will definitely be our last. The place is filthy and dark. Out of the 30 games they have, at least half of them are out of service. Had to stand in line just to waste my tokens on a game thats got busted controls. There are no employees on the arcade area floor to make sure kids arent just running around stealing tokens and tickets from people while they game. Parents are too concerned with getting tickets instead of watching their kids. The place draws a rather less than desirable crowd so you mine as well take your money elsewhere. Everytime we asked an employee about the broken machines we got the same BS answer about they are waiting on the technician. Bottom line is thsy the owner clearly doesnt care about the place.
I had my kids bday party here, it was quite hectic. There was a mix-up with the rooms, we called ahead to decorate and they said ok. We get there, and they wouldnt let us into the EMPTY room until 3 (the reserved time). So we had about 30 seconds to decorate a room for 12 kids plus parents. The hostess wasnt sure what the hell was going on either. The party in the room was chaos. I had to ask 3 times for the wristbands for the kids to go play, and didnt receive them until after 15 minutes (thats a long time for 12 five-year-olds).As for the games, half of them were out of order. The place (floors were filthy, and for the few bathrooms they have, they were understocked, out of order, dirty, and smelled like they havent been cleaned in a month. I easily spent $300 on this party, take it from me, totally not worth it. Save your money.
Be aware that half of the activities are ONLY open Friday through Saturday (Laser tag, rookie go-karts). Half are not open at all. (bumper boats, play area) Manager was not helpful when express my frustration that this was not explained before I bought my five activity pass on a Thursday.

2021-07-25Decent experience.Extremely long line to get wristbands/check in with only a couple employees helping (not their fault, there is only two registers).Half of the arcade/skill games were off or out of order.Go-Karts, mini-golf, laser tag were quite fun, and teenagers loved it. Staff (although stressed to the max on a summer weekend) were all friendly and helpful!!There are a lot of similar places in the area, but if the indoor arcade games are your thing over the big attractions, I would probably go to Dave & Busters.

2021-03-21Great place to have family fun! The general manager Todd was great and very accommodating. I celebrated my daughters birthday here. The party packages provide more than enough for a fun filled day. Pizza was piping hot. My daughter was very satisfied and so was I. Although it wasnt a concern for me, someone who may be more cautious, may not like the capacity. Although its not as busy as it was before covid. There are still lots of people. If youre looking for a smaller crowd you may want to limit your visits to weekday hours. They are a bit short staffed, but that didnt take away from the stellar customer service. Every employer I encountered was pleasant.

2021-07-31If I could Id give it zero stars i would!!! we went there 2 and a half hours before they closed, and they said everything else was closed, but the arcade, play area and mini golf. And it didnt stop there. The golf course was completely overgrown and filthy mold all over a green? When we went into the cave that part there had no lights, so we had to skip of the of course because we couldnt even see. And the girl at the front desk was completely rude. We stood there after walking into the door and waited at the front desk and waited 5 minutes until we had to flag somebody down to pay for mini golf and then my wife stood up at the desk to buy something to drink and was never greeted and ask for the prizes, let me just say it looks like they went straight to 5 below or Walmart Ill be going to top golf for now on!!!

2020-08-01Not to bad of a place. Some of their things arent open right now like the bumper boats and the gym/play area. We went 2 days in a row. The 1st day they were really busy so we didnt stay long. Went the 2nd day right after they opened and not busy at all. My only issue was when I went to the counter about a game not working the younger guy working on it wouldnt even acknowledge me. He would look at me and and turn around and start pacing the floor.

2019-05-14We absolutely had a blast there and considering it was Mothers Day they were able to fit our family in for a birthday party it was not too crowded and all the kids played together which was really fun and I loved how they all interacted in their play. The bathroom however did not have toilet paper in it the entire two hours we were there and was really dirty but aside from that its a really fun place and I took my daughter there for the first time who is almost 2 and she really enjoyed herself also. The bathroom doesnt deter me from wanting to come back I will just perhaps mention it if it happens again

2019-07-27We had a great time at Magic Mountain! The staff was super friendly and helpful; it was our first time. The facility was clean. There are a variety of things to do like go karts, put put golf, a large inside jungle gym, games, and more. The go kart course is nice and twisty; I recommend going full speed! The lack of 5 stars is because many of the games were out of order. Well definitely come back for more fun!

2018-07-24As the name suggests this is magic place for kids as they have lot of activities and games. This is perfectly suited for kids aged between 5-10 they can enjoy the outdoors activities like golf, karting, boating and indoor arcade activities. They have kids gym for 3+ years upto 9 years. Cafeteria is added point as you can have quick bites like pizza, fries and drinks. They do have price for each activity and coin system for arcade games. There are deals if want to combine activities and food so please check out at the counter.
