This is for Macys online. I placed an order with this company on Nov.13th. Today is Nov.24th. UPS never received the item from them. They will not issue a refund nor re send this item. I will never order from them again. They are making me wait, as they insist UPS has not updated the info. I have received my other orders from them with no problem from UPS and those orders were placed after this order. I would like a refund or another sent out. I can not get them to understand they never sent the item with UPS, only made the label. This was 11 days ago, why do I have to wait? I have never been put off by a large company as I have by Macys. Do not order from them. They are not doing their jobs at all and could care less about their customers. Update: They did finally refund me, but it does me no good, as I can reorder the item but it is now 13.00 higher in price. So they do have the item, just not at the sale price I bought for. I will shop at a reputable store for now on. I still give them zero stars if I could.
My husband bought me a bottle of perfume for Sweetest day and recieved the bill they charged us 3 times instead of once. They are acting like they dont know what we are talking about but our bank is stating they charged us 3 times. Once on the the day we bought it and teice 3 days laterI wont spend my money there again.
Entered the mall from the parking garage and into Macys. Found a cute shirt for my granddaughter. The only open bathroom was in Macys. Unfortunately the bathroom looked clean but smelled like urine. The areas are sectioned off in the storecwith terribly stained and visibly dirty carpet which stands out sorely compared to the general ambience of the store.
We went looking for outfits for my daughters Senior Pics. Unfortunately there wasnt much of a selection at all. We only found one dress that fit what she wanted. While she was looking, I was browsing around and there wasnt much of a selection for ladies either. The cashier was lovely, but we probably wont be back due to the lack of options.
This Macys honestly needs to close, looks messy, cheap and run down. The departments look like they barely surviving, TJ maxx and Ross look better than Macy’s right now. Can’t believed how ugly the store look, no new clothing and the department of Fragrance was a totally desert 🌵. I do not recommend going to this Macys. i mean the entire store need to be remodeled.
Beware...This is my third time ordering the Giani Bernini 2 pc set Herringbone Chain Necklace and matching Chain Bracelet...the first two were fine but the last one had rust spots on the necklace. I wanted to make this review with the product on Macys website but I placed my orders as a guest. Im not registering on their site to make a comment nor as a shopper; I will be purchasing my jewelry in person from now on.
Never seen a Macys looking like this store did. Place was picked over, with little selection. It looked like they are getting ready to close the store. Ended up walking out with nothing because there really wasnt much there. Might be different if I wanted makeup or other beauty items. That area seemed like the only stocked & staffed area of the store. Staff was almost non-existent in other areas.
Very displeased with the staff, if you arent a senior citizen then most of the store associates were immediately disrespectful & treated me as if I was a child or up to no good. I had one older man in particular get in my face & was borderline yelling at me instead of asking me to move politely for standing too close to the changing room while my friend was inside trying on outfits that she wanted my opinion on didnt catch his name but I will not be returning to this joke of a store if they think its appropriate to treat their customers in such low regards.
Tried calling the store three times to see if we would be able to try out mattresses during the COVID and the automated recorder disconnected me three times so we drove 45 minutes to get there and when we got there there was no air conditioning in the store and absolutely no one working in the mattress area. There was another couple there looking for a mattress as well. We finally found a sales lady who was helpful and called a manager to come help us purchase a mattress and she told the sales lady for us to come back the next day. We went on Serta online on our way home and I ordered the 3,000.00 mattress we were looking at. Absolutely horrible customer service and we will never be back.
This was my first time in Maceys and the customer service was horrible. The employees at the perfume and cologne counters were either doing there make up or filling there nails and the other ones were standing around talking. I was not greeted one time. Also the store was trashed clothes all over the tables some on the floor. The bathrooms were disgusting. I really expected better from this store i will never go back there i was not impressed at all.
So its been quite some time since Ive been in a Macys. First, the staff was helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, the quality of clothes, shoes, and jewelry was lacking. I mostly noticed this because I needed a black dress and had been in Dillards the day before. In comparing the stores, Dillards wins hands down for selection and style.
Sharon in misses department was AWESOME. She helped me find a replacement for an online order, get it ordered, return the first online order in a most warm and professional way. She was encouraging and friendly when I was going to walk away without getting what I needed. She approached me and asked if I needed help. She encouraged me to try several sizes til I got the right one. She acted like it was no trouble at all, all the things she did. She is a shining example of a professional, upbeat, friendly and helpful sales person. They are so hard to find, and a gem when you do. I plan to go to Macys a lot more, on the days she is working. She made me feel like I was her best friend and knew her for years.
Macys Backstage is fantastic. I was really happy that the Customer Service lady helped me with reward points. The managers were also helpful to get prices right that should have been clearanced.The selection of clearance designer bags was amazing and the markdowns were wonderful!
I always figured Macys to be out of my price range but they arent bad at all if you just give them a chance. They got that Macy backstage which is pretty cool because its like a discounted part of the store. They need to get more stuff more inventory for that part but its a great start. And they have some great sales too. I usually see signs ranging from 40 to 60 to 70% off. Dont let the fancy name and mall location scare you off. Im sure theres something for everyone at their price range
Wonderful employee of Macys named Lou was so incredibly helpful to me as I was looking for something in particular for a special event. She was over-the-top helpful and friendly and I so appreciated everything she did! Great selections great prices quality merchandise.
Ive only been through the store before, I dont regularly shop there because I think its too expensive for me. Plus I am a overweight person and they usually dont have clothes to fit me. But I was in my doctors office and they had a nice painting from the clearance area of the store. So I checked it out, didnt find a picture, even though they were reasonably priced, but did get a new measuring cup that was inexpensive.
Post quarantine/lockdown, Macys is like many other stores dealing with getting inventory and dealing with what they have. There are thousands of impressive discounts on almost everything. Much of the store looks disheveled, understandably. If you take the time to sift through all the leftover sizes and unwanted items, you can find high quality merchandise dirt cheap. Otherwise, Macys is pretty well known, but Ive never been too impressed. All the mens clothing is on the second floor, which has been enough for me to bypass it when shopping for clothing for a long time now. The store is much like a Dillards, with a lot more open space. Susan had always been kind.
Great store and lots of options. Some name brands are a bit more expensive than its competitors but if you catch them on sale they’re great prices. The store seems to have become a little more messy ever since they added the Macy’s backstage which is the discount/clearance section similar to stores like Burlington, Gabe’s, TjMaxx, and Ross. Overall great customer service and still kept clean. I will note last time I was there was Black Friday so that could explain the disorganization of the store.
Very disappointed in this most recent visit. We ordered a pair of jeans online that did not fit. For some reason, employees are not allowed to have items shipped from other stores to a local store. What a waste. The item we wanted was not currently in store but was supposedly available at other stores across the country and we were told to call them and see if the can ship them to us, but the cannot do it. Doesn’t make any sense.
Not interested in the worst laid out store ever. To get anywhere specifically have to go through several different departments. Also escalator upstairs??? Who doesnt build the up and down conveyors side by side. Macys wasnt store want big enough to sit them side by side.?. Want to ask a question?? Have fun finding an associate. Online here comes MACYS. Not interested. 😰
Employees unwilling to help customers. Went in looking for a mattress after shopping around a bit. It was a Sunday morning just after open and we spent about 20 minutes in the mattress section without a single word said to us. Two employees made eye contact and walked away, twice. After chasing them down across the second floor, they simply said not my department and walked away again. Looks like you missed out on over $1,000 in sales for the day.
Bought a smartwatch off their website and money was promptly withdrawn from my account. The next day I received an email saying it was not in stock and the order was cancelled. Macys is a huge company, inventory tracking should be better than this...what a joke. Only shop with them if you can get it in the store and carry it home with you. What a joke...I will no longer shop at Macys.
I visited Macys one recent evening and stayed until closing. Not only did I not find anything, that happens. But I was not allowed to exit via the inside mall entrance from which I had entered. My daughter and I had to walk alllll the way around the mall to our car from the outside. I will never go back to Macys. The callousness of the store employees response when I inquired about exiting from the mall entrance was the cherry on top.So, if you like Macys, and you enter from the mall entrance, just remember to leave before they close.... especially if its raining. Grrr...
Great place to shop at, maintained very well and with friendly staff who are more than happy to help the customers with any questions they have or any help they need. And as always there are many coupons and discounts available through out the year online or at the store.
No one offered to help. When I asked for information as to whether some swimsuits run long (Im 6 ft ) I was simply received a gaze, as if I was speaking another language! I walked through the entire store for over an hour...no help. I ended up purchasing a few things because I needed them. Poor quality, poor selection and poor service. Perhaps I am accustomed to more because I moved here from another city, but come on Toledo, get it together!!
I always find great deals here, especially upstairs in the backstage area. Good luck finding help though, unless you are going to a specific cosmetic counter. The store is empty and a mess. I only go if I have time to dig so to say. Its like an expensive tj Maxx on the lower level... The backstage area is to be expected to be like a tj Maxx 🤷🏻♀️.
We went there to finish our registry, we couldnt tell what was clearance and what wasnt, everything was dirty. After the wedding we went to purchase luggage that was still on our registry. The sales associate said she knew nothing about it the items we were looking at and the person in charge of registries was not available. We asked a few more questions and she got so frustrated she went and got the person in charge of registries. No one helped, no one could answer questions about the products.
I called the Toledo store to find out about a $100 gift card that was supposed to expire very soon. This warning was in my spam file, so I didnt want to open it. The operator was no help at all! I had to explain several times my question. Finally, she said that she didnt know who to connect me to. I waited while she checked, she came back and said she would connect me. she never came back, and after waiting several minutes, I hung up. Does anyone know anything about this gift card or when our rewards checkwill come??
Macys had horrible service and cashiers that couldnt care less. When i mentioned that if i worked here i would of at least tried to help customers and she said theres not enough people to help everyone..there might have been 15 customers in the whole store including upstairs. I went to dillards and less than 5mins someone helped me find exactly what i wanted.
Good quality clothing. If you need something a little more formal, Macys has a great variety.I had to drop my review rating. BEWARE if you purchase anything under their last chance sale you only have 30 days to return it. Now Im stuck with teenager clothing that will end up going to good will. Just an fyi.
On my recent visit to Toledo I was very disappointed to see the condition of the store. The selection seemed barren. The store just looks dingy and in need of a facelift. I was also very confused by the layout of the clothes, childrens clothes were in the middle of the womens department. It was also difficult to find an associate to ring up a purchase.
Baby department is a disgrace. Dirty, unorganized, a total mess and nothing exciting or cute. A real failure. The rest of the store is only ok. Mens department has very professional staff but the rest of the staff seem disgruntled and lazy and dont take pride in their work or the store.
Macys I really thought that I was going to go in there and have to stay a long time. But I was able to walk in go straight to the coats and get what I wanted. It was in my face and it was the only one in my size thank God walked out feeling better very happy i found what I wanted.
Was very disappointed. Tried on three tops and they all clung to me, like they had electricity in them. My friend tried one on and the top was clinging to her too. Another lady said she had the same problem too! What is going on with these clothes? We would have bought these tops if they wouldnt have been clingy.
Probably the worst customer service I have ever had in my entire life. 1st - all lines are busy 24/7. 2nd, after trying to buy online - with no expedited service avail - i tried to buy from the store. BUT they dont take the $100 gift card over the phone. Referred me to Macys online. They were able to take the card, but COULDNT FIND THE STORE THAT HAD THE ITEM IN STOCK? Spent 1 Hour, and 40 Mins on the phone with a woman that HARDLY spoke English - even being patient with her, I ultimately got no where. Asked for a supervisor - said no problem - transferred me to a supervisor - rang for 10 full minutes, and nobody answered. No sale, ruined gift card - scratching off Security Code. Cannot/ Will not buy from again.
I went to macy’s to get a watch resized that I got my boyfriend for christmas. I went up to the woman working the watch section and told her why I was there and she insisted that she couldn’t work on this watch because it wasn’t it wasn’t from macy’s. on the watch box it still has macy’s sticker on it and I showed her, she still refused to fix it for us and told us we need to have a receipt in order for it to get fixed. I live 45 minutes away. I came to the mall specifically to get this watched fixed. that would be a total of 3 hours going to the mall, going back home to grab the receipt, going back to the mall, and going back home. and on the box it had the macy’s sticker!!! I am furious.
We went in looking for a toy for our nephew, and we could not find it so we asked and the staff working was so nice she took the time to look it up in the store computer to see if she could put us in the right direction.We ended up not being able to find the store, but we ended up meeting two very friendly workers.
Found things here but I had to walk around the storefor sometime because their was no one at the registers and 1 register i found someone at the register and it was closed,the 2nd register was the jewelry register which I was referred to by the person at the closed register referred me to another area of the store

2022-06-10If you want to get a good buy, go upstairs to the backstage. They have low prices and they have something for everybody. Shoes for men and women and children, womens clothing mens clothing and childrens clothing, you name it they have it and the prices you cannot beat! I found all my summer things at Macys backstage!

2022-05-16The women at the perfume counters are super rude. I went to pick up a bottle to smell it and before I could even grab it, she yelled from across the store that it was a fake bottle. It would have been okay if she offered to let me smell an actual bottle of it but her and another worker laughed and walked to the other side of the store. I was Macy’s credit card member but after this experience, I’m just going to close my card. Not the way I wanted to be treated on my birthday.

2021-09-03Probably my favorite place to buy clothes. Great selection of Ralph Lauren, Lucky jeans (which are difficult to find these days) and all my favorite fragrances for my girlfriend and myself. One of the only stores I actually like the staff. The woman who was helping me was very knowledgeable about mens fashion. It was nice having her show me a few new fragrances that are popular for women. One I really liked and will be purchasing for my girlfriend for Christmas. She also showed me the new Prada fragrance for men that just dropped called Ocean. I got my girlfriend a bottle of Prada Candy. I bought myself a pair of jeans.

2021-12-28Sales girls behind the counter were not very welcoming at all. They were talking in their native language and they made me feel like I was interrupting their conversation . I would have liked to open an account, but they did not inquire if I wanted to open one and just went back to talking amongst themselves. Not a good experience.

2021-12-11Absolutely the best service at the jewelry counter.. I believe her name was Stacey?? She had just started there, and u would have never known.. I run a retail establishment myself, and I want you to know her customer service was above and beyond, definitely an asset to your company.
