Has this place actually changed in the last 40 years? Only difference I see is theres no babe in the front spraying perfume on you as you come in - if you dont understand that, youre way too young. Seriously, its clean and well maintained. Prices are a bit outrageous.
Great place, just a little overpriced. I was honestly a little shocked how hard it was just to find a pair of regular jeans!I would say the staff was nice, but literally no one greeted us as we walked through the store. Just either stared at us or ignored us.We finally left after no success. Im not saying I wont be back, maybe we had just gone for the wrong thing!
Went to the mens suit department and a wonderful sales associate helped me and my grandson pick out an awesome suit for his homecoming dance. She was amazing, friendly and attentive. Love Macys and their many beautiful things to buy.
Thank goodness for Pat, in the women’s shoes department. Not only was she helpful in finding the shoes I was looking for , She asked what occasion, and what kind of dress I was wearing, and then suggested the perfect pair that she could order for me , In time for the special wedding I am attending. Macys is a staple for my Christmas shopping. I love their sales and selection. It was fun this year to actually ship in the store. Their online sales are also great.
This store was atrocious!! Super unorganized. Associates were the least helpful out of any other store I have been too from Akron all the way to Cleveland. Location was the only convenience.
So pricey. My friend bout a Michael Korr purse there and found the exact same purse on line through Michael Korr for over 50% less. When asked her reason for returning the purse she told them. The sales lady, very snooty, told her Well good for you.Update. They have changed the store around and will be changing it around again soon.
I wonder if they are phasing out their plus size clothing. Yes it was just that bad. Get some new designers, the old ones are outdated and boring! 🤷♀️

They have nice things, just not enough variety for the mens clothing and a little expensive. If your a clearance rack shopper you might get lucky but dont get your hopes up

All kinds of different places to grab food and all different kinds of foods! There were hot topics and footlockers and journeys! All kinds of awesome stores and the place was wide open alot of places to sit and eat, if your into shopping and or eating this is the spot 👌

Terrible experience with the heavy-set, dark haired woman at customer service this afternoon. Rude, unpleasant, and spoke negatively towards me regarding a 20 dollar pair of pants I was returning? Yikes, please remove this woman from your payroll immediately.

Selection was terrible. There were more closeout winter clothes than spring/summer clothes. Dont people wear regular clothes anymore? The largest selection of mens clothes were sportswear. Im so tired of seeing people wearing workout type sportswear for everyday wear. Retailers: Not everybody dresses like theyre going to the gym. Lets get a better selection of clothes!
They didnt have sections by Youth, Teens, Misses and Plus size they were section by Fashion Designers. Im not agreeing with this change because I couldnt find anything in my style and it was very time consuming trying to find something I would like.

The most enjoyable person assisted me with my purchase, her name was Diane. She was so kind, patient, helpful and funny. She put a smile on my face for a good part of the day. She enjoys her job, very refreshing! Thank you Diane, it was a pleasure!

Came here last week and just came back today! Bought womens perfumes on my last visit and was treated like gold by the sales ladies. Today I came back for a handbag and wallet in a different department, same great service different representative. Took a trip to the womens shoes and the atmosphere went south immediately. The gentleman their seemed tired and bored. Although he wasnt rude, he definitely gave off the impression that he didnt want to be here. I guess 2 out of 3 departments isnt bad. I will give this gentleman the benefit of the doubt and chalk it up to just an off day. Overall Ive very satisfied with this place. Thanks for the great service and I hope to be back soon.

The employees at the Clinique make-up Dept are so helpful. I have been having a terrible time with my face products because of having T-zone areas. All of a sudden nothing was working on me at all. So I decided to ask for assistance. They were so patient with assessing my problems, then explaining why I needed certain products. Then they helped me with make-up! I felt like they really cared about me. I also would like to thank the ladies in the clothing Dept . I was looking in the clearance and what great deals I was finding! After a few minutes they asked how I was doing? I thought I was fine looking on my own. Then I found a dress I really liked and it was the wrong size. So they looked up to see if they had anymore in the store. There was 1 and wow what a time finding it. But after awhile we found it! They went above and beyond service I had expected. I enjoy going into the stores and shopping, Im not an online shopper. Its the personal touch being able to talk to people and have them help you that makes it the best way to shop!
Had a terrible experience with this particular store. I went in with alot dirt and grease on my shirt from work and the sales associate talked down to me like I had no money cause I was dirty looking
I enjoy shopping at Macys. They have great customer service. The associates are friendly and helpful. The store is clean, well organized; the sizes on the racks are in order, which is time saving. My only complaint is that I wish it was a larger store!

Will NEVER order a small appliance from this place again, ordered a instapot on cyper Monday,and got it after January 1rst,which may not have been their fault,but we kept getting emails saying it was delivered, when it wasnt, then tried calling and canceling the oder once we knew we werent going to get it by Christmas and they didnt do what they said they were going to do and we received the package then had to drive 45 minutes to the nearest Macys to take it back,lesson learned I guess!

Walked by 3 associates. No one even spoke. The restroom back by the ladies dept. is in need of a good scrubbing and some maintenance. Only found 1 associate upstairs to ring me up. No one available in intimates to help. Went to Dillards.
Always loved Macys but there wasnt a very good selection of New years dresses this year especially for juniors or young miss. I can never find staff/employees for help for clothing Dept. This has happened to me two years in a row now so Im sorry but online is starting to be the way to go and Im not a fan of shopping online.

Tres is awesome at her job! It would be helpful to have more staff in the jewelry department. The makeup department has an abundance of staff every time we stop in. We spend too long waiting for higher priced purchases.

When they have sales.....move over!! Employees are very helpful and go out of there way to make sure you leave with what you are looking for. Each department has associates to give you that personal touch which we seem to be losing in our society. It costs more, but hey, think of the jobs it provides 😏

This lady searched and searched for a particular shirt I needed, found it, ordered it and I received it today, July 7. My sister and my sister in law was shopping for shoes. We had the nicest lady helping us, I believe her name was Teresa. If all the people that are in the business of helping customers, I would give them all five stars, but a lot of workers are only waiting until they can clock out. Teresa is a ten star because she really cares about her customers. Thank You for a great experience.
Not so much at the main entrance inside of the mall (I suspect only because the fragrance counter is right there), but the further back into the store you get, there is an overwhelming scent. I thought it smelled like an old, moldy basement, I overheard a woman near me compare it to cat urine. For a store selling higher end clothing, I dont expect to shop in a store that I feel like I dont want to breathe the air.
Love Macys, specially when they have sales. Which is almost always. Most items were 40-50% off today. Picked up some new styles and a nice jacket. The sales personnel are always polite and helpful.
Wife & I were bed shopping, we were returning a sleep number bed that wasn’t for us, so made our way to Macy’s. Found a bed that we were happy with, & decided to do a split king, or 2 xtra long twins. Ordered the beds & were given a delivery date. We made arrangements for our other bed to be picked up & these beds to be delivered a day apart so we would only be 1 night without our bed. The day before our delivery date, I get a call from logistics & they inform me that only 1 bed was shipped... the other will take another week!!! Seriously!?!? I am not a happy customer! Yes they offered a discount, I just want my bed!! Don’t care about a discount now, just get the bed here! Needless to say, I won’t be returning to Macy’s!
Selection wasnt great, but was able to find something that works and didnt break the bank.
Could really use better buyers. Difficult to find fashionable clothing for plus size women. Colors are dark usually Navy black and white gray. The racks are sad to look at because of the lack of color and style. It seems as though everything is ankle length. The pants are either angles and or cropped. The suit seem to be too stiff or too flimsy. Not much anymore with a lining.
We went Christmas shopping today and had a wonderful time. Pretty decent prices if you looked hard enough and still got all name brands

Awesome. I was trying to find a hoodie, and the only one in stock was on a mannequin. The staff was willing to pick it off, even without its price tag, and look for it on the cashier desk. It takes some patience to do that, but I got the hoodie, and went on my way.
While in the womens shoes at about 4:45 PM, a sales associate (white female with blonde 80s perm) asks if she can help and informs us they dont carry the brand were looking for but says Journeys in the mall might. We asked where is that (referring to Journeys) and she points to the mall entrance and says Do you see that? Thats the mall very rudely.
The mens section is practically empty. Not like it used to be!

The woman working at the Dooney & Bourke counter was really rude. Didnt want to buy anything from her. But everyone else (cologne and front of the store) were really nice and helpful.
The dressing room by the juniors clothing and dresses are so sad looking. Goodwills dressing rooms are nicer.There were 4 dressing rooms in this section. 2 of the 4 had doors that didnt even latch because the doors either didnt reach the latch or stuck out too far and couldnt close.

I went to get the clinique promo. The 2 women at that counter were very helpful and my friend and I both got some makeup demos. We bought a bunch of stuff. Of course!
Store is dirty, product just trown around, staff unhelpful and seems they dont care. Pin needles lay everwhere on the floor(for those with service dog font go) and people wonder why big box stores are closing.
Come on Macys. It is becoming more and more rediculous to find a clerk . We were in the mens department for 18 mins. and no one was even in the suit department. You are losing business. Another couple got fed up looking at suits and left. The ONLY clerk running the register came over after I sought her out. My husband was looking for shoes. Not very encouraging. No wonder I like shopping on line. This isnt the first time. Last week, same experience upstairs in Petites!! If you want to encourage us to come to brick and mortar stores, dont stress us out and waste our time to just check out ..forget getting assistance. Sad.

There is more furniture on the second floor. The clothes areas are no longer crowded and easier to move around.

This place is run down and the service it horrible! All I see are empty cash registers. Also I see cute little kids (age 2-5) playing with the knives that are for some reason not locked up. This is not safe at all!!!!
Nice apparel and other miscellaneous items. Everything seemed about 10 years out of date and the place was also almost completely empty the entirety of the time and felt Erie from lack of people.

This is the worst store!!! They are chronically short staffed, staff is rude when you ask them a question or for help. Always have to wait in a long line for check out. No one cares about this store. Store is dirty and clothes thrown everywhere. Won’t be long til this store closes!!

2022-06-09Easily the worst Macys mens section Ive ever seen. Had nothing I was looking for-- a decent leather belt, some regular white athletic crew socks, a multi-pack of non-white low rise briefs, and some Levis 559 jeans. Strike 4, yer out!

2022-03-24As a resident of the area for the majority of my 50 years, I have been a patron for decades. I got my first swatch watch here. My prom dress. My first Liz Claiborne purse.I am sad to see the state of this store. The prices are the same, high as you would expect from a department store in a thriving mall. But the atmosphere. Oy! The floors are dirty, stooping down to see the price of a Coach purse bottom shelf you are forced closer to carpet stains. . . everywhere!ONeil, May Company, Macys, none of these names are being honored. Take the time. Close the store for remodeling and I will be back once again.

2022-04-09Bought a couch a week before Christmas 2021 and its now April 9th 2022. We have been screwed around 6 different times with appointments. Half of the times they never even canceled the appointment for delivery. Today was the day, the 9th of april, sent email and text saying its in the truck on its way, be there by 3:20. Two hrs before that time, truck broke down. With all the excuses and B.S. I will never spend one dime back in this store.

2021-12-23Much higher prices than I remembered and the selection just didnt seem to be as interesting as other stores. With it being 3 days to Christmas, I really expected to see more sales and specials, but that just didnt seem to be the case. Staff was difficult to locate. The store was neat and clean tho. The bathrooms were very clean.

2022-07-07Had to take a shirt and pants back today and I did not have the tags for the shirt but I did have the receipt.. the lady gave me a little eye roll but took my shirt back for me and credited my account.. she was nice and I get why I got the eye roll LOL
