I SHOPPED 3 DEPARTMENTS AND NOT ONE PERSON OFFERED TO HELP ME!!I think this is why I’d rather shop online... furniture guy ignored me... women’s fragrance pretended not to see me...luggage???I worked Macy’s many years as a float. I would never leave my customers void of attention unless I was working the register. Even at the register, I made eye contact or at least acknowledged them.It’s not even busy... PATHETIC!!
My daughter was going to her winter formal, and we, very last minute, had to get her shoes. I didnt catch the girls name that helped us, but i wish I had, because she was amazing ! She searched through every heel/dress shoe they had, trying to find one in her size that would work. We finally found one, and she got to the dance on time! Excellent customer service !
I always like coming here. It reminds me of that old school shopping experience as a kid and teenager when going to the mall was the cool thing to do. Staff is always very helpful and knowledgeable. I really enjoy shopping here around the holidays always find great deals.
All the cashiers were pleasant and sought every discount possible! I cashed out with 3 different cashiers. With the Holiday promotions and other promotions they found, I got about 50% off all items. I purchased 7 pair of work pants for $175!! Thank you for your attentiveness:)
Went in looking for perfume. No one was behind the counter as I walked around. So I went to through the rest of the store and the sales were not great. As I was walking through the bra selection, I could not find a single person to help me again. I went back to the fragrance department when I finally got help by a rude older gentleman. Trying to have me smell fruity perfumes that I did not like and said I did not like but kept handing me fruity perfumes. I then asked to see one and he asked who’s it for and when I said myself you gave a disgusted look. So I left, not a very good way to run a business Macy’s.
I Love Macys, Because I Love Levis. I Also Love That They Basically Split The Store, Into Male & Female. Im There At Least Once A Month Looking For Deals On Levis, Couldnt Find Any That Fit. This Drove Me Nuts For A Few Months. I Finally I Realized That Ive Been Looking In The Ladies Macys, LMAO. J/K, All BS Aside Macys Is The Spot For Looking & Smelling Good.
So I have mixed feelings on this visit it was hard to find anyone to help an if I did they seemed to hold a judgmental attitude, so I did end up finding what I went in for, top floor is completely different but for a good change. Its now call backstage pass going to check out more on that. Helped some others due to them not finding staff but checkout was great the lady was fun to conversate with an make the visit better.
Ghost town very few mostly elderly employees. Some extremely helpful. One , Wanda of 3 Ive interacted at curbside pickup is a standout person. Other to women not so much. Would not help disable customer carrying large box and walking with cane. Basically ignored my request for help chatted with each other instead. Lingerie and floating Husewares sales women also excellent. As was Maria who helped me when the curbside persons ignored my plea for help. Fine jewelry staff also kind courteous knowledgeable. Anne in shoes great. Makep counter salespeople not very friendly or helpful. Almost no second floor Employees to ask for help with merchandise questions. Online and customer service experience abominable.
One of my favorite places to shop. This Macy’s has exceptional service with employees that know their customers personally and work hard to make them happy week-in- and week-out. Ted,in furniture, will work on his day off to make sure your delivery is shipped and his customers become regulars; Gordon, in housewares, knows the stock and is ready to get you the best deals on electronics, kitchen goods, fine- dining, home goods, and luggage to fit every budget. April in cosmetics, will remember your favorite lipstick shade and your aunt’s favorite perfume. She never hovers but always helps to transform your day with a makeover and smile. The managers toil to keep each and every department stocked and every customer happy. This is a great store- during the pandemic, employees and staff have gone above and beyond to make shopping easy, safe, and healthy.
Katrina that works in the polo section is very unprofessional. She was very rude to me when I tried to use a coupon on my phone. She refused to let me use my coupon at checkout. Then she began to get loud with me And had everyone looking over at us. She needs to be retrained on customer service and I will not be checking out again with her.
Nice to have an old fashioned department store to shop at with a wide variety of name brands. The Bella appliances are inexpensive and quite functional. Everything in the store is top quality. Weekly ads include discounts. No place in town can compete with their quality selection of cosmetics, ladies clothing, mens clothing appliances and jewelry. Sales people know the products.
Ive been shopping at Macys since it was ONeills. they had a lot of different departments for women but not Bill Blass or Liz Claiborne. Really miss those two departments . Bill Blass jeans were the best. I only stopped in the womens department and theres a large selection of merchandise. The older sells ladies can be a bit cranky when you check out but all in all still one of my favorite stores to shop in. They had a lot of boots in the shoe department for women and tennis shoes but not the great variety of shoes , for example, slip-ons and tie shoes. Will try again this week. Im making this my top store over Kohls. Cheap clothing at a high price for women.
Found some great deals and went to check out. Pauline in woman’s was extremely rude to my mother and I. After looking up the Macy’s card, she said “well what are you buying, I need to see the items” in a rude tone as my mom was trying to untangle the hangers off of her motorized cart. Then, I wanted an email receipt so I clicked email. She got annoyed and said “no don’t put that in” reached over me and cancelled it to give us paper instead. If you’re going to be 85 years old and still working don’t be rude and miserable to the customers. Just quit your damn job.
The store itself is nice. People here will probably answer all the unreasonable and reasonable requests. Its not sales associates their fault if coupons do not work, make sure to read the fine prints of a long list of exclusions of coupons. I think buying online in general is much cheaper.
Didnt get waited on in the shoe dept. I figured that Ill go to the Macys in Kent and try there. Sandals are on sale. Hopefully saleppl are nicer,because the ladies at Summit Mall didnt look busy, although maybe they were, if standing around means your busy..I have never given a bad review, but thats your job. Please do it. Dont make me go to another store
I stopped in here to return an electric kettle I got from christmas. The staff were very accommodating and accepted the return without a reciept as macys places a return label on the purchased item.I recieved the items original cost (not current sale price) in a gift card.I only leave 4 stars as the prices on the items are pretty high. I was able to find better local prices with google shopping.
I recently visited Macys on 9/16/2015 around 3:45 p.m. As I was there I spoke to a good friend that had just purchased some perfume. She also had in her hand a sample. She told me where to purchase it also mention it was a box of samples, and the two ladies will help you. As I approached them I asked about the sample perfume that they had. One older lady heavy with makeup told me they do not have any small samples So my daughter was with me and she pointed to the sample perfume. Then the clerk stated it is only in the glass case and they do not have any samples. I stood there confused then I looked at my daughter I truly hope it was not a case of discrimination.So of course we will come back and secretly video this to see if this is truly a discrimination situation. I hope not. I have purchased perfume from Macys prior to this date in recent years and I have never had any problems before. maybe this was an isolated case. Also, They do not know me and I am defiantly a person in the media. I have very been fan base.
The Macy’s at Summit Mall literally could not be any worse. The only helpful staff are in the women’s shoe department. Other major departments including fine jewelry, cosmetics, and furniture are filthy and mis-managed. I’ve been charged the wrong price several times and had to call the company’s main customer service number to have them talk the staff through a transaction. Mattresses, store fixtures (cases, racks, floors, etc) are dirty. The store attempted to refuse to honor a jewelry repair policy, however, after getting corporate staff to talk to store staff, the policy was ultimately honored as written, then, when I went back for a third time, I still couldn’t get the jewelry because the safe had already been locked for the night — while the store was still open during operational hours. While the physical store may be in worse shape in Stow/Kent, go there instead...or skip Macy’s and shop on Amazon. The staff at the Stow/Kent location are at least friendly and professional, and the store is kept as tidy as possible.
Will not be returning here its always hard to get any help from the employees i find myself having to look for someone to help me the employees just walk by me as if im not in line or inquiring about something I spend too much money here to be ignored and treated like im invisible the last time i was there a month ago I ordered a coat for my son when i went to pick it up at online order department the sales associate told me I couldnt exchange the coat for a smaller size because the coat was sold out so i went upstairs and found the dame coat in the exact size I wanted and was able to exchange it macys summit mall
I wouldnt advise any foreign born national to apply for a job here. Theyll just send an automatic response about how youre unqalified in less than 24 hours. Glad to see a struggling company like theirs cant promote diversity and cant understand why theyre losing business.
My family and I decided to go to Macys yesterday because we wanted to pick up some school clothes for our children. My youngest daughter had to go to the bathroom so we took the escalators upstairs in Macys. My husband heads towards the uniforms to conquer two duties at one time. As me and my children are walking out of the bathroom an old white/caucasian man walks towards me and my children. We all had on our black Walk with Jesus shirts that day and while we were getting ready to pass by him, instead of him letting us go around he keeps walking into my pathway with my children behind me. He reads my shirt out loud while my children our watching and embraces me with this big hug, chest to chest. Now as I saw him coming to close for comfort I put my hand out before him but the strength from his arms did not allow me to have any control to push him away. As hes hugging me he says something in relation to my shirt and then lets me go, but as I try to move away he strokes me down my arm. I was stunned and couldnt believe what just happened. The man doesnt say anything to me and didnt make any eye contact with me at all. He continues to walk away as if he just did not assult me at all. I tell my husband what happened. Hes completely upset. We Go to the first person that we see that works at Macys and tell him exactly what just happened and what direction I saw him go in. The manager or whomever we were speaking to said that he was so sorry and would tell his staff to alert them. He asked for his description, I tell him that he was about his height 510-511, older white guy, in his 60s, white collared polo shirt, with blue edged collar, white/ gray hair and that was it, it happened so fast yet so slow at the same time. My husband and I walked around the store to see if we could find the white/caucasian man that put his hands on me without permission at all, we couldnt. We go back to the manger to see if they had found anything and he said that they have footage and they are still checking into it. I was very bothered and upset as well as my husband. So many things were going through my mind as to what could have been done to make what happened to me more urgent but I could see nothing being done as if it was urgent at all. I felt lost, abuse, assualted, and so much more. I hope that justice will be served and take its course for that man that so fearlessly place his hands on my body without my permission and continued to walk around Macys as if he could so easily do it again to another person. Shame on Macys for not being more concerned about what happened to me, I am completely discussed in my heart with that man and how he made me fill, Jesus will so judged you for what you did.This photo is a picture of Me, my family and my church family. I was not happy at the distance I had to walk to find d a cashier then told we had to go to the other side of the store since only one register at each desk have bad knees so was unhappy since I had to carry my things I wanted to purchase even further and wait for the cashier to finish up with another person need carts got home sensor on a present I bought did not go off when leaving now have to make a return trip after Christmas 🤯🤯🤯🤯
I was in the shoe department and the teller was very rude and argumentative with me I had to ask for another associate, Then I go to the womens department and purchase some pants when I got home the buzzer was still on the pants I had to come back and have it removed so I didnt make my the event I was to attend because I was just stressed out.
I cant believe how rude the cosmetic staff is they refuse to wrap gifts I purchased from them might I add I only had 2 small gifts that lady was soo horrible to me I actually avoid this macys because in a scared of the cosmetic counter women its a shame I have to think about this place like that

2022-06-09Located in the Summit Mall. Lots of parking available. Handicap parking and wheelchair accessible entrances. This store offers quite a bit. Shoes to purses, infants, childrens, adult wear. Jewelry and name brand cosmetics. Many departments offering wonderful products for most needs. My stepdaughter and I enjoyed shopping for our husbands outfits and shoes. We picked out a pair as well! High prices but the quality makes up for it and with coupons and sales, the bottom line costs are reasonably priced! Our experience was an even more fantastic one due to a pleasant, friendly and professional sales associate, Latrone!! Kudos for his smiles and helpfulness in the mens clothes and shoes department! This is what a great sales associate should be! His eagerness to help find what we were looking for was above and beyond. Our shopping experience was best thanks to him. Thank you Latrone! I highly recommend this Macys location to everyone and if youre searching for assistance, I hope you have the pleasure of meeting Latrone! I highly advise Management to acknowledge this star employee! Happy shopping and Godspeed everyone!

2022-02-07I really didnt go there to shop. II parked close to one of the entrances. We walked through, stopping to use the restroom. Then we went out to the main part of the mall. The store was very clean, and well organized.

2020-01-12Picked up my new sheets, washed them to get them ready for use. This is my result. When I called to discuss the issue, I was totally dissatisfied with the customer service representatives. Ive called 4 times and my replacement set has not gotten here yet. My first time ordering from Macys online. And my last!!!!
