Lowes Home Improvement in other cities:
We stopped today, 1 March 2022, to place a special order for 2 remote control blinds, over $1000.When we did get help to place the order the associate said she was working 3 departments, come back when the associate in that department was working tomorrow..Very disappointed.Lost our business and in the future.ourbusiibbusinessthfuture.the
Incompetent and lazy. Purchased a refrigerator and the third party delivery contractor wouldn’t deliver into the basement. They measured and said it wouldn’t fit. Which would be fine, but according to their own measurements it should fit. Area had a height clearance of 70 inches, refrigerator was 69 inches tall. I admit, it’s not an area that’s easy to work in and move a large appliance into, but when you accept a paycheck to do a job you can’t pick and choose what you want to do based on how easy or how much effort it’s going to take. After returning and picking out 3 different refrigerators and having the delivery crew refuse to even try putting them in place we’ve finally decided just to get our money back and go somewhere else. The only person that was interested in helping me was the woman in the delivery dept. I believe her name was Gail. But at the end of the day there really wasn’t much she could do. The manager in the appliance department couldn’t care less about the problem. She was rude and had no interest in helping me resolve the issue. I know my family’s business isn’t going to matter much to Lowe’s, they’re a large enough company that they’ll make their profits and and not give a second thought to a situation like this. I also know this matters even less to a hourly employee like the manager in the appliance dept. But at least have some pride in what you do. That goes for the manager I spoke to and also those delivery guys.
Was pretty easy going after what I needed, but because of one thing. The Lowes website. It accurately told me which aisle and section of the aisle my products were in. It was very easy to get in and out. This isnt something that I am used to, where it tells you exactly where the item is and it was actually there. This store is large and without this little helper it would have taken a lot longer. It also gave the stock count as 9 and there were in fact nine furnace filters of that type there in stock. Filter me impressed. Made for a hassle free shopping experience.
My husband and I went to buy ceramic tile and my husband has a medical condition and he is unable to pick up the boxes of tile and I am disabled so I can not do it either, so anyway there was a Lowes employee standing two or three feet from us talking to another employee and the employee in flooring was very busy. I asked if one of them could possibly help put 4 boxes of tile in our buggy and she said well isnt there someone in flooring and I said yes, but she is very busy. Doesnt Lowes practice TEAM work!!! She and the other employee was pretty much standing right next to us doing nothing, but talking. I should have said something to their manager, but I didnt!!! Probably will be going to Menards from now on.
Went to Lowes and got 15 bags of sand. Paid for them and the cashier call for assistance in lane 18. I waited 5 minutes seen two people get on a tow motor thought they was going to help me. They went away from me and no one else didnt show up for another 5 minutes. So I grabbed the 15 bags of Sand. Want back to the cashier. I asked for a manager the manager showed up and basically said he cannot do nothing about it. Thats why about 10 years ago I stopped going to Lowes. Nothing has not changed since then. Corporate need to do something about that thats why they are losing a lot of business because their employees will run from the customers and will not help them out.
As a former Lowes employee, I have loyalty to Lowes above other stores.... but I also know how things are SUPPOSED to go. My husband and I are remodeling our kitchen. I talked him into sticking with Lowes even though he wanted to go elsewhere. We ordered cabinets in March and have yet to receive all the cabinets in mid-July. I understand this is a manufacturer problem, not the store.... although once the purchase was made, Lowes seems to have washed their hands of advocating for service. We also purchased an entire kitchens worth of appliances and explained that we did not want delivered until the cabinets came in because we have no kitchen to install them in.... they have scheduled us for delivery no less than 3 times and weve had to keep telling them NO! Then last night we went to the Niles, OH store to purchase our flooring, which was special order. Granted we arrived at about 8pm since my husband had to work until 7, but there wasnt a single soul anywhere around the flooring department. We pushed the assistance button which puts a call over the loud speaker for help. It announces 3 times before clearing itself. We re-pushed it 3 times for a total of 9 announcements and not a single employee came to answer it. On the third attempt, I called the store from my cell phone and requested to speak to the manager on duty. I was given a manager and explained I was in flooring looking for help, while the announcement was going off. He came to the department but was very defensive about their lack of staffing and at first said the person was at lunch (@8pm?). When I inquired about the neighboring departments because we used to cover multiple departments if no one was there, he snapped that the staff in the other departments werent scheduled that late. Luckily I had already done all the legwork online to figure out what I needed and had a print out, so he could enter our order. I had wanted to confirm with an employee about what we were getting, but didnt get a chance. We completed that transaction and went over to plumbing. We ran into another customer who was looking around desperately for an employee to help him order a sink. He was there earlier and bought a $1,000 Kohler toilet and wanted to order the matching sink, but couldnt find an employee to help him. We were looking at kitchen sinks, but started second guessing what size sink we would need. We walked over to cabinets (fully anticipating for there to be no employee there either, which turned out to be the case) and then went next door to appliances where 4 employees were standing around their computer station. We asked if anyone knew anything about the cabinets (believing at least ONE would be appropriately cross trained). We got blank stares, and the manager of the dept said she could look up our order I guess and tell us what size cabinet we got, but they had no ability to help us with our actual question. My husband left fuming that after spending over $10k in the last 4 months, this is the level of service being provided. I am having a harder and harder time defending Lowes. I tried to call this morning at 9:15am to ask the kitchen sink size question, only to be told no one is in cabinets until 10am. I dont understand how a store open from 6am-10pm doesnt have competent employees to cover ALL their departments during open hours. People work during the day, not everyone can come in the middle of the day to do things like this. Very disappointed!
Lowes needs to work on their internal communication between store and warehouse/delivery. Had a problem with an appliance, sales staff worked to correct situation, breakdown in communication with getting appliance returned but it finally did happen. I think problem was not people but Lowes internal system. So Lowes staff 5 stars, Lowes internal systems 3 stars
The staff acted like they didnt sell my product. I was pointing out out to them. The girl at least had the common sense to ask for the item number. Which you could clearly see from the outside of the box. Then the guy who didnt belive they sold them grabbed the wrong item number. 🙄. He sighed and I had to tell him the right item number again while pointing at it.
DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES HEREAt least not gas appliances. We called today to see if they had any gas dryers. They did, but the person on the phone had a bad attitude. It seemed like they did not want to be there. I do understand not wanting to be at work, but dont make it so evident that youre making customers uncomfortable. But before today with the dryer, we had bought a gas stove from Lowes as well, and even had the Lowes workers install it for us. It seemed to go great until I had a Dominion gas person come check for gas leaks from the dryer setup. As they normally do, the Dominion guy went around the house to check for leaks on all other appliances. He checked the stove that had just been installed by Lowes workers recently. IT HAD A SEVERE GAS LEAK AND WE DIDNT EVEN KNOW!!!if you do get an appliance from here, install it yourself. and if its gas powered, have a person from a gas company come check it IMMEDIATELY.
I needed closet doors .Online they said we have six.I go to customer service .Oh yes we have six .Go to pick up doors ..sorry our counts are off.We do not have these but our Boardman store has seven ..No thanks..Wasted time & gas..Store workers were nice & apologetic.
Never again, I have give the Nikes, Ohio store so many chances! There are always employees standing around that know nothing, items are placed in the wrong location and no price change has been done, the employees are not knowledgeable on anything and you can never find a cart! Do yourself a favor and go to Home Depot, the employees are much more knowledgeable and friendly and its only 1 mile down the road.
So im here to buy decking. Have spent thousands on my deck and am adding on. Need screws, 3 size. They only have the 89.00 container which is way more than I need. Container is all broken up and the manager say 10% and wont even take time to listen to any explanation. So take your screw and ill find them elsewhere. Customer service management wise sucks here.
Not happy at all. I was supposed to get an appliance thru a community program. I was notified via phone as well as text of delivery down to the final 10 minutes when I received a call that my appliance was not only on the truck, but had not even arrived at the store location. There best answer...well its a mistake. They were going to pickup my refrigerator on a Tuesday, with delivery of new for Sunday...really..5 days without, and seemed to think it was ok. I will never deal or refer Lowes once I complete this task.
We were here this evening at 8pm in the lighting dept. Buying a ceiling light clearly marked $79 .88, at the registered it rang $89.88, we had to walk to lighting to prove the signage, after all that the sales clerk refused to sale us the light for 79.88 and stated they have to to by computer! I told thats false advertisement. He said oh well!Sincerely Chris thats it
Can not get the geazbo yes I would like to talk to somebody from the Lowes headquarters Lowes Home Depot Lowes that Niles Ohio has in stock even this they had 2 in the back said they were sold. So disappointed. I went to 3 different Lowes store PA and Ohio. I would love to talk to headquarters number please
Asked an associate where something was, he asked me specifically what kind I was looking for. I told him and he directed me to a location where the item wasnt at. It isnt even carried in the store. Its an order and pick up item. Overall the store is good but I was disappointed in this particular employee ☹
I visited the Niles Lowes today to purchase a Zero Turn Mower. I had some questions regarding delivery and stock. I first went to customer service to request help outside. First I was told about their mowers inside. I advised the lady that the Mower I was looking at was not inside but outside. She then proceeded to ask if I just needed help loading it. I explained that I had not purchased anything yet and just needed help. She then asked again, what I needed help with. I dont know how I can make it anymore clearer. I had some questions and needed help out at the mowers. She just looked at me like a doe in headlights and said she didnt know who to call. Mind you, there was 8 employees standing back in customer service chit chatting about who knows what.I waited in customer service for 15 minutes while this lady helped other people. I finally went to a register and talked to another employee, who apologized and said she would have someone outside for me soon. I went outside and waited for another 15 minutes before anyone came out. I did put that time to good use by calling around to other local dealers to see if the mower was in stock else where. Which it was. An employee did eventually come out but he had absolutely no knowledge of the mowers you sell.I was looking at the Ariens Ikon XD zero turn mower. This Lowes had one sitting outside, but when I inspected it, i noticed it was not assembled properly and was damaged. This is a wide spread problem at all Lowes. You can read the reviews of this mower and find hundreds of complaints. I tried to explain to the employee that you cant sell this mower because you assembled it improperly and it was damaged. He just shrugged and didnt seem to care. I then asked if there was another one still in a crate in the back. He was able able to look it up and found that there was 3 in stock. He then tried to tell me that the 3 mower were all outside. I explained to him that there was only one Ikon XD sitting outside. He tried to argue with me and pointed at different Model Ariens. I explained to him that, no that a different model. to his defense they look similar. He then pointed at 2 Husqvarna zero turns and asked me if those were it. NOT EVEN THE SAME COLOR!!!!!At this point my patience was at zero. I explained to the kid that there was only one IKON XD sitting outside and that I just wanted to know if there were more in the back still in the crate. This employee then pointed to the mowers engine and stated that all these mowers are the same and made by Kawasaki. I left at this point before I had a stroke. This was a blessing in disguise. I found the same mower with free delivery from the Niles Handyman. They just started carrying a large selection of residential and commercial mowers. My mower was delivered less then 24 hours later when Lowes was going to take weeks. They also have a certified mechanic on staff to handle any warranty work. Word of advise, if you are going to sell a product, be prepared to answer simple questions about said product. This is a training issue or lack of training issue.I will never shop here again. I have a Lowes credit card that I will also be cancelling. This is not an isolated event that I am blowing out of proportion either. The customer service at this particular store was not always like this and has gotten down right terrible over the years. This particular event was the one that tipped the scales.
Ordered a shed on Nov 8, 2020. Was told I would get a call when it came in. Never got a call. Called to cancel on April 27, 2021, after waiting almost 6 months and was told Id receive a call from corporate in 1-2 days. Didnt happen. Emailed customer service and didnt get a response. Becoming very frustrated and am now out $400 that I am having an impossible time getting back.
Sirena and Nathan were so nice and helpful loading everything. The fence panels, concrete mix, and screws were a good price. Cannot wait to see my new fence installed. The lady that answered for curbside pick up was so sweet. Had a $5.00 off coupon, bonus! The time it took from start to finish was a little disappointing though....
Be ready to walk. Aside from the hassle of hopefully parking near the register, then having to walk around to the entrance, and having to use a register on the other end of the store, after pre-planning, the store is well stocked and has a relatively helpful staff there to help you meet your hardware needs.
We purchased a fence in May. Before purchasing a $2000 gift card to pay for it, we went to the store to make sure it was in stock. We were told it was. We then purchased the gift card from Giant Eagle and purchased the fence. Upon calling the next day for delivery, they told us the fence was in fact not in stock. At this point it has been five months. We are still being told by Niles, Ohio Lowes that they cannot get ahold of the supplier. I know that treated wood is hard to get right now. However different managers have told us we have 6 panels towards your order. No we only have three. I dont know who told you that, we have 0. Basically instead of putting panels toward our order when they come in they are selling them. They are refusing to give us our money back and lying to us every time we call. Never again. Trying to deal with corporate now and so far they too are refusing to help. Hopefully we dont have to get a lawyer but honestly at this point Im willing to go through with that. Never again. I will give my business to Home Depot and let everyone know not to purchase fencing or anything from this company. Disgraceful.
The staff had no clue about the products or where they were. We were trying to buy 6 5lb buckets wit lock tops they only had lowes buckets wit snap top an lock tops wit no bucket for them waste of time. Dealt with 3 different employees an sent me all around store with no resolve smh.. 1st an last visit 2 this location
We have always shopped at Lowes. But I ( during Covid) I have been extra impressed and grateful as they have been doing everything they can to keep their customers and employees safe. They have been wiping down the counter after each customer, counting their customers and still offering friendly service. I appreciate the effort. Thank you! To those who think they have to, I have been in other stores that are messy, rude cashiers, and expressing their opinion amongst each other and customers, not caring what they say or how they say it, so again Thank you for making your customers feel cared for and respected!!
This store is always hit or miss! They usually always have what I need. Sometime customer service is top notch other times its not. I know they are probably short staffed at the moment due to Covid so when I sat on the phone for 15min waiting for someone to answer curbside pickup I tried not to get annoyed. (yes I could go inside but with 3 kiddos in the can and 2 napping I didnt want to wake them). Once someone picked up they were extremely kind and helpful. They staff helped load my items in the vehicle. I really cant complain.
I have made many trips to this Lowes over the past year and it continues to serve me well. With a great selection of supply for my many at-home projects🛠. They also have veteran🎖 discount and parking that are greatly appreciated. The staff are friendly and not pushy when it come to assisting you. The only trouble I experience here is at the hardware desk. Each time I go the staff member seems to be annoyed😡 and is different to get any real help from even with general questions. I feel like this is were employees are sent for misconduct😈. Otherwise this is a great location to plan and supply whatever project you have in mind!
This review is for the delivery of a new washer from the Niles store. No one called the day before to give me a window of time for delivery. They did not call before they arrived. Not the great attitude I am used to with Lowes delivery people. In the past, I remember them turning on the washer to make sure it worked, and they even gave me a quick review of the washer. This time they didnt even plug it in. They also left a mess of water and dirty shoe prints all over my laundry room floor. And the kicker, when asked to sign the paperwork inside my laundry room, the person did not have their mask up. Needless to say, I disinfected that area of my house.
Online order never got pulled , went ourselves. Couldnt find any help . Checked out requested help loading, they never came even after 2 phone calls to the store. Finally flagged down a gentleman doing the carts and he wash kind enough to help. Josh was his name . Nice young man . Only pleasant part of th visit. Garden center plants and flowers looked horrible . Not sure who is in charge of the watering 🤔
Customer service is horribleWent to by items that I could get because they were outside on the other side of lawnPaid for it waited 32 minutesLook for product, went in and out twice with someone to find it and was told to ask person outside. No one was outside so I went back I. To return product and went to MenardsThey said next time I buy something make sure it’s there
What excellent customer service! The young man in plumbing had a line of people waiting, but he made sure that each of us got the item we were seeking. He didnt try to rush us to get done, and that is a good feeling. The cashier was a very nice lady with a great attitude. Lowes had gone through a spell of a lot of employees with very poor attitudes, but that time seems to be over. This was a good experience.
I went in to get some stuff to repurpose a piece of furniture. I am disabled, so it took me about an hour and a half to collect my items. Paints, remover, brushs, putty, sander pads, grommets, hinges, a small interior light. At check out, I didnt have enough money on me, so a manager named Jim said my small amount of stuff could set until my husband got there....but it had to be before 9pm. He got there at about 445 and started looking for my stuff. I have been laying down since shopping, due to my disability. He had called me several times, irritated. No one could find my things. No one could find a manager. My husband was finally told that my things were returned but nobody knew why. I called and got a manager on the phone, I dont know his name but my only resolve was to take it up with Jim, who is off until Monday....its Saturday. Great.....
Terrible just terrible service from the carpet installers getting back to me along with being told a Lowes person would call me back. I have shopped there for over 20 years personally and for a business.Josh in the store was awesome and knew his products but all down hill from there.
Bought carpet from here for 5 rooms and stairs. They contract with Ultimate Home Care or some name thats completely opposite of their services. Long story short, other than lumber, paint or something off the shelf, dont get carpet here. Consider yourself warned. I know, its like a crash, you want to look, afraid what you might see but as a first responder, its never pretty, much like what youll find if you buy carpet here. A crash that youre in the middle of, and thats not going to be pretty either. Dont look! Find another source for your carpet, your sanity, your life!
Why have the option to pickup an online order at the store if I have to walk around the store and find the stuff myself when I get there? The point is to order online and go pick up the items that should be there waiting for me. But they werent. And they werent the last time either. My items are always ready at Menards. And theyre always ready at Home Depot. Lowes needs to step up their game if theyre going to offer this option.
Meredith and Chuck were HELLA helpful! I had been waiting for someone to assist me and no one who was paged came. Meredith called someone over on the radio and stayed with me until the problem was resolved. Chuck even offered to give me the number of a contractor that he knew to assist me with my project. Please give them both a decent raise (I dont mean 5¢). I am so blown away by both of them and their willingness to help. Customer service sucks, I know. They made a trip I was dreading easy.
Very disappointing! I ordered a small cultivator online. Went to pick it up and was rudely told by the young woman at customer service desk that it wasnt ready, and she had no idea when it would be. So we walked to where they should have been located but there werent any. A second associate was kind enough to look it up and told us the only two in stock were badly damaged. Wasted a trip and an hour and a half of my day.
Decent prices and products but the service is terrible. I purchased three gift cards for my office staff. The cashier pulled a switch and kept one of the activated cards for herself. When I challenged her she got defensive and left. I went to the head cashier (A real winner, NOT). She got an attitude so I demanded to see the store manager. After about 15 minutes he resolved the problem. Good for him but based on my experience with the other two I do not shop at this Lowes any more.
Overall a decent store; prices are fair, decent selections, and mostly friendly customer service. I will say though, Ive had two employees kind of get snippy with me cause I was pushing back as they were trying to hustle me. One of them wouldnt even bother to go in the back in check if they had a dryer in stock for me, thankfully another gentleman did so.
Great deals running to save your hard earned dollars for summer fun...no payments due for a year! Awesome selection of all home appliances or home improvement needs. Were putting a fresh coat of paint on most walls and in the basement. Itll look so beautiful with the new shades we chose(light creamy colors). Once completed Ill be out hunting for accent pieces to make the rooms POP!
Bought a refrigerator over a month ago and had 2 different delivery dates they canceled the one because the delivery drives did show up and told me they will be here between 8-4 really. Lowe’s customer service is horrible. Will see if the fridge actually shows up tomorrow.
Always a good place to go if you ever need help with home improvement. Theyre always eager to help you, and they are very good at multi-tasking. Its just you have to find the right person for the department youre shopping in. Because they will tell you quickly that this is not my department! Then you will be waiting. They do deliver, and have a pretty nice delivery service.
The Boardman store is desperately understaffed and the managers are unable to keep up with what they’re supposed to be doing. The phone system is absolutely terrible with being left on hold for long periods of time and no one ever picking upOrdering online is not worth the effort, you can’t get anyone to respond to the status of your order and half the time what is shown as being in inventory in the store doesn’t exist. Good luck finding somebody to help you look.
I spent close to 5600 on appliances and was promised a 500$ rebate. I was told that I could collect the rebate one month after delivery. I later found out that I was supposed to have received a rebate receipt, but well get to that. Delivery was January 11th, my call was February 11th. The Lowes corporate rebate center politely said they couldnt do anything because the rebate program ended on the 10th of January, however the manager of the store I purchased the appliances at may be able to help me. That was also when I found out about the rebate receipt. I called and explained my situation to a customer service representative at this Lowes (also polite), who explained the situation to the manager while I was on hold. The manager didnt even want to talk to me because the representative said there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak to the manager and they were very impolite. I explained my entire situation and the fact that I didnt receive a rebate receipt. I was told that was MY fault for not catching that when I purchased the appliances. I gave them the scenario, if you buy your appliances on January 9th, and they get delivered the 12th, by that logic you still cant collect the rebate? Correct was the response. So I recommend taking your business to Home Depot, if your brand specific on paint, the sherwin Williams store is much better at matching colors anyway... Harbor freight tools are cheaper and theyll basically warranty anything anyway... Unless Lowes comes out of the woodwork and fixes this, theyve lost a loyal customer here.
Needed help with a shower hose. Lady employee asked me if I needed help. I said I was looking for a shower hose but it needed a certain connection and I tried to show it to her on my phone and she cut me off and pointed me to an aisle. She was talking with a friend and obviously didnt want to be bothered. I had to pull teeth to get her to walk with me 20 feet to see if she could help me pinpoint the item I needed. She took me to a small section of hoses and I said I dont think this is the right hose do you have another section with hoses. She said well, alright Im going to go take care of my returns and walked away. Very short and rude. And, not knowledgeable about the product. Bottom line....from the start was rushing me and had no interest in helping. Bad service.
We go to Lowes for all of our home improvement projects 1st. If I cant find what I need at Lowes, I go to Home Depot. They both are great home improvement stores for that matter. I just happen to like the variety of styles at Lowes better. The prices between the 2 business are comparable in my opinion
If there was an option if a quarter star I would give it. I could not find what I needed. When I asked for an items location I was told somewhere up front, maybe by the cashiers. I could find only 3 associates in the entire store. Service desk, plumbing, and cashier. I left went to Home Depot they walked me to the item. Lowes stands to learn a lot about customer service.
Have been a Home Depot loyalist for about 20 years. However I have become increasingly less and less impressed with them. This past weekend I went to Lowes to buy pavers for my sons eagle project and every single employee that I had interaction with blew me away. Stopped there tonight looking for flooring for one of my rentals and again my experience was excellent end up buying 2 pallet of flooring
Not a very good experience. Took one of my windows to have replaced. When I entered Lowes there were 2 employees wrapped up in a conversation that were too busy to assist me. Finally when they were done the one told me which aisle I had to go to. Once I got to aisle 16 , I ran into a guy who I thought could possibly help. Instead informed me with a bit of an attitude that they could not assembling my window after the new glass was cut. I just couldnt believe how rude the 3 out of 4 people I ran into just couldnt be just a bit more courteous towards my needs.
I bought a piece of carpet at Lowes and I gave them exact measurements of the area I wanted the carpet to go ! First waited 3 days for someone to get the carpet out of the back becouse, they were too busy. Get the carpet home its not only to wide but, also too long. Called the store talked to a very rude customer service person who said once it leaves the store they cant do anything ! So basically because your people dont know how to measure I have to find someone who can cut this carpet for me ! You definitely lost all my business !!!! Horrible customer service ! Taking my business elsewhere !!
You know, I didnt really like Lowes until recently. They always seemed to be overpriced. However, the more I go there the more I like it. They always have a great selection where other stores fall short. Their products cater to men and women and the service is outstanding. Whenever I have a project at home and I have questions about products or proceedures there is a professional who is there to help you. The only reason I didnt give five stars is because I still think they are overpriced, but the value is there.
We had a very unfortunate weekend that left us in dire need of a refrigerator. With a large family-including our youngest child in grade school and a grandbaby, then school beginning this week, ect, etc...we were struggling in our minds with the concept that NOBODY carries stock appliances! Its deeply frustrating and frankly, most people arent thinking about buying a $2k+ appliance on a whim! We were at Lowes for 2 hours or better and it was our first stop. We left without, due to No Inventory despite the website showing one in stock. We went multiple other places to no avail and finally called Lowes to discuss the Availability online/in-store because we simply werent giving up based on the first encounter with a different appliance sales associate. After being on Hold for a good bit, patience running on empty and ready to cry, SOPHIA in Customer Service and NOAH in Appliances came through!! They worked together, found what I was there looking for, the first time around, took care of us and did it all with smiles on their faces. I know I was diligent about this fridge and probably frustrated THEM but... I pushed and they pulled through! THANK YOU SOPHIA and NOAH at Niles, OH Lowes, your Customer Service is AMAZING!!
It seems as though Lowes is going downhill fast. I purchased lightning and the box I brought home contained another product that wasnt even the same brand as what the box said. The associates dont understand the smart home products that they sell either. Youre better off to order online and just have it shipped.
The customer service is rude and horrible and the delivery scheduled is unreliable. I was expecting a delivery on 7/25/2017. No delivery and no one call to tell me why. When i went to the stored to inquire the customer service person was really rude. here I am again waiting for the rescheduled delivery, no one call me and when i called Lowes delivery to find out whats going on, the gentleman told me that he was going to call the delivery guy and then call me back. However, I have still not received any call. I will at least take my business elsewhere next time. this attitude from workers of a respectable company like Lowes unacceptable. Really bad customer service.
They have practically anything you need to fix, or build something. The lumber is sometimes unpleasant because it is warped, bowed or otherwise. But it still does the trick. Its still a good place to go. For your building, fixing, lighting needs. I would go to a local dealer if you are doing floor stuff. I would recommend Cambells flooring in Cortland, Ohio. They are awesome!!!!!
Now I know why people shop at home depot! I had 4 people walk by me as I needed a cabinet taken down from a high shelf. They said they were not on the clock!.Had someone page for assistance as I stood there for 10 minutes waiting then I was told there was NOONE working in that department ! Finally some lady who wasnt on the clock helped me get it down! I WILL NEVER SHOP LOWES AGAIN! THEY NEED TO BRISH UP ON CUSTOMER SERVICE! BECAUSE THEY SUCK AT IT!
Was purching a washer, the staffs stood around the cash register talking to each other and no one approached us after about 5 minutes I had to go and approach them for assistance woman did not seem the least bit interested in selling a washer she would prefer to talk on the phone I even had to go back and ask her when and where it was going to be delivered because she never even bothered to take my address. I did inform her that she was the worst salesperson that I had ever had to deal with.
This location usually has a pretty good inventory, and will almost always have what you need for a home improvement project. Unfortunately, the staff here are simply awful - almost all employees are either particularly unknowledable, or simply rude. Special ordering items is a disaster.
I am very disappointed in the quality of service at the store. We ordered and paid for a refrigerator on September 29th and as of October 26th it still was not delivered to the store. They had no idea when it would arrive. I canceled my order and got my money back. Went to Menards and ordered one and it will be delivered next Saturday November 3rd. Only one week.
Let me start by saying i have been a loyal customer of lowes for 20+ years!I visited the store today to buy some materials to use on a small renovation project. Part of my job was needing some plywood cut into strips....i called to confirm they would do this and was confimed by the pro desk. There was a guy getting basically the same thing done and i was next! When i told the worker what i wanted, he said we dont do that! Ummm, i just watched you do it! He said, we where just doing the other customer a favor per my boss! I literally blew a gasket, you got to be joking...... the service and attitude i got was reprehensible! Terrible to treat a person who has spent hundreds of thousands dollars in your store or to that fact, even a first time shopper. I had one of the workers at the pro desk try to intervene as i left the store. I got an idea, morning meeting.......customer service 101! This employee should be relieved of his job and absolutely not deal with anyone on a customer service level! To say the least, i went to Menards and spent $1500- there! Was never a big fan of Menards but today opened a new door for them to provide reasonable customer service and be my new place to go. No, they dont cut plywood there but at this point.......it didnt matter!!I have never had a retail experience and put it out there like this, completely disheartening!
I bought a vinyl fence at Lowes 2 years ago and it was a big mistake. I now have 2 posts that sunk and one that has raised up. when I called within my warranty period of the first year the installer never got back with me. as I kept calling Lowes about the installers the girl stopped taking my calls. when I dug up the worst post I found that only half of the post had concrete around it in the hole. the installers they get suck and so does their customer service. save yourself a headache and dont get your fence from Lowes.
I was online shopping for back splash from you when a sales rep. asked if he could help, so I said of course since I have not bought any thing of that magnitude before. His name was Josh, and he was very patience, kind and truly helpful. I explained what I was looking for and he went right to work with visual suggestions and and prices. Didnt get his full name but I was shopping in the area code 44484 if this might help. Please be assured he is a great asset to your company as far as I am concerned, because of his patience I will be purchasing my product from your store. Sincerely Midge.
I went in for 2 cases of ceramic tiles and there were not any on the shelf. One guy told me they had 200 cases in stock. I ask one other guy if he could get me some and he said I dont work in this department. I ask if he could get me someone and he couldnt. Needless to say I left without my tiles. Wont be going back to Lowes......
Good selection and normally the staff is helpful my most recent trip my kid needed to use the restroom and when I a asked an employee where the restroom was they just started at me with a blank look until I walked away. Other than that Ive always had good experiences here
A nice gentleman named Josh in the Lumber Dept of the Niles, Ohio location is wonderful! He was a huge help today when he said hed cut a number of items to help my husband knock out a home project a little quicker! Thank you, Josh! You have no idea how helpful you were....well, maybe you do! :)
Walk down to the department I need, there stands three employees laying on a cart telling me the doors locked because theyre working there. I want a job where I can lay on a cart and its called working. I go into the plumbing department or I look for 20 minutes for a part cant find it cant find anybody to help. anybody to help me. Customer service is dead
Niles lowas was grate ... now last night I when to Boardman Lowes and ask the question about a vanity had a very rude employee that was just talking not even helping another customer telling me it was going to be a while before he even got there as hes having his conversation with these people he telling other customers he dont know where its at or he dont work in that department not being helpful at all just communicating with his conversation I was very upset how I was treated by this employee employees name was Paul at Boardman Lowes the and Im commercial account I had a simple question about some vanities that were on sale I hope this problem is taken care of and also be making a phone call about all my concerns
Worst experience ever!!!! Took months to install a bathroom!!!! Grout cracked all up because they never installed a cement board under it. I was at work while it was installed and my father whom has no experience with construction was there. OR... IT WOULD HAVE NEVER HAPPENED. Then, the jacuzzi tub jet cover broke off in a months time and can not be attached. Worst 10,000 spent to rehab a bathroom in my life.

2022-06-06Purchased a washing machine (whirlpool) and it was delivered with a tub defect which would have resulted in rusting. A new washer was delivered and the defected one was taken out. First use proved the washer to not spin and light panel did not work. After three weeks of phone calls to the store, to managers, to customer service and hours on hold to get thru to warehouse this matter had not been resolved. Now I am out money and time and a defective washer.

2022-06-13I worked with Sarah and she was great. She helped me with cabinets and was right on top of it she knew what she was talking about. I would come back there before I would go to any other store.

2022-01-31I will NEVER order online with them again! The washing machine we ordered online was delivered as expected but the service guy looked at the rust on the old hose connectors and told us that we had to spray it with WD-40 and he would come back in 2-3 days. Well, we called a friend and he in hooked the hoses with his bare hands and had it fully installed in 30 minutes! Three weeks later NO one has called or returned to schedule an installation date. Plus we paid to have the old machine hauled away. I called Lowes in Niles, Ohio where we bought it from and was told that if you buy online you dont get the same service as if you walked into the store!😡 No apology was give for the poor service or discount for having to hook it up ourselves. Just you dont get good service for online orders! Buyer Beware!

2022-05-21Very rarely do they not have what I need. Better selection of light and plumbing fixtures than home depot

2022-01-06My husband and have gone to Lowes many times through the years for things that need installed and never had any issues. We purchased a new garage door, opener, and installation in mid May and was initially told it would take about a month. Then I called to get updated and was told 4-6 months. I get it, labor shortage. I was upset but I understood. Fast forward to now nearly 8 months later and we still have no door!! I call the store all the time to get updates and was told by the installation customer service sometime in October that the door was made, shipped and was on its way to the installer and we should be getting it around November 22. Well that date came and went, called the store AGAIN and they said it was now set to ship on December 15!! WHAT!! They said it shipped already, what happened to my door?! They had no answer for me. Well, December 15 came and went, called the store once again and they now said that the door is nearing completion and is now has a ship date of December 31!! How many times is the date gonna be pushed back? I need to add that every time I call the store, they call the installer and they NEVER answer thei phone!! They leave a message saying they need to get in contact with me and they never have except for when they came to measure my door to make sure we had the right measurements in July!! I am supposedly on an e-mail list to get regular updates and have not received one email or phone call!! Lowes has done nothing to fix the matter, like get a new installation company!! The installer (Wayne Dalton) is so unprofessional its ridiculous!! Never in my life have I known a business to be so horrible and unprofessional!! I am fed up, livid, and so angry at this point I am done with Lowes for good and will be getting a refund and taking my business elsewhere!!

2022-05-31Needed help finding a breaker, but the only time you ever get help at Lowes is when its time to take your money. Gave them and chance and called ahead to request help.....no one yet again to be found. I went to Home Depot where I was asked within the first few feet if I needed help with anything and someone was in the aisle waiting to help me.

2022-01-16Sunday 5:30pm. Husband just came back from Lowes. Needed a 8 foot board cut to 6 feet. Lowes says we can only cut in long ways. Husband: That doesnt make any sense. Lowes: We can cut it shorter for shipping. Husband: I need it 6 feet to get it into my car. Lowes: Well, I dont think we can do that. Husband goes to Home Depot who promptly cuts board and ask if anything else they can do to help. I think you get the moral to this story. (Another mention is husband trying to get home as snow storm starting.)
