We were remodeling our bathroom 10/23 & 24/21In the Wadsworth Ohio store, we were in there multiple times had great staff helping us out (especially the return desk ladies)but a BIG SHOUT OUT TO JEFFREY IN PLUMBING! He was such a big help and did it patiently, he helped us several times. Hope Lowes knows what a great asset he is to their store.Jeff & Theresa Overly.
Better than home depot so far and they have a healthier selection of plants and shrubs if youre looking to spruce up your yard. Good prices on ceiling fans, faucets, and tubs. Love valspar paint!****Im taking my review from 4 stars to 2 stars because of an ongoing issue with not being able to get our gutters fixed. We went through Lowes and the company they had come out to install our brand new gutters last summer left us with 2 corners on either side of our dining room that leak between the fascia and gutter. We tried contacting both Lowes and the company with no luck. Even the manager in charge when my boyfriend went up there said we would be contacted to get it fixed up and that was more than 2 weeks ago and he still hasnt heard anything back. Were going up there tomorrow to speak to a manager in person again. I thought they were better than that.
Had to find someone to help get it off the shelf! Which took a bit. Then when they did I asked for a dolly cause it weighs 150 pounds. The guy said it should be in one of two different aisles. I said I cant load it myself can you help? He said one second and disappeared. So I had to go find a flat cart. And lug a huge air compressor on it by myself. We went to the self checkout and paid for over 400 dollars in items. And I asked the guy again can someone help me load it into my car. He pages someone and tells me to pull up and someone will help. Finally after waiting I loaded it by myself (not easy). Ill never come back to this store. So a quick trip ten min trip turned into an hour!
Delivery was going to be the next day—great!!! Out range came damaged so we sent it back. The next day at 3:30 the guy called and was lost. He said our address was wrong so he wasn’t coming. I called delivery and unfortunately they can’t come until Friday!4days without a range with a three year old! The woman I talked to was nice-but the second delivery guy was terrible! No apologies, handled horribly!
Has gone down hill drastically over the past year. This morning was the last straw. Spent 30 minutes at the check out register no one was there. Self check out was down. Asked 5 separate employees for help over this time all responded with let me find someone to help you. Im sorry but you work here your are that somebody. The last girl was extremely rude and down right mean. Ill be closing my business account with them and taking my business elsewhere.
Terrible customer service. We ordered a washing machine for delivery because it was out of stock in the store. They told us it would take 7-10 business days. So far it was been almost 3 weeks and it still has not been delivered. Apparently when the delivery schedule is delayed they do not call you, we had to call them to check the delivery status, wait on hold and they are not sure where it is! It has been delayed 3 separate times now! Over a week past the original delivery date and still no washer!!!
If it were possible to give a score of zero stars I would. I generally prefer leave positive reviews, but this is one of the worst chain stores I have ever been to in my entire life, and that is saying a lot. The store itself is filthy. I know its a hardware store but it would be nice if the items I purchased didnt need to be washed or hose down before I even use them. Whenever Ive asked an employee to help me find an item I met with a blank stare from a teenager who has no idea what anything Im talking about actually is and I end up finding the item on my own spending way more time in the store than I ever want to. So I thought the solution would be to use their online order system to do an in-store pickup. Boy was I wrong. I put an order in on Monday morning received an email on Monday evening that it was ready for pickup but it was so late that I decided to wait till the next day. I went to pick it up the next day after work only to find out that the order was not ready. I ordered six items all located in the lawn and garden section and yet in two days no one had been able to locate all six items and put them in a cart for me. After repeating my name phone number and order number upwards of 30 times and being told over and over I cant find your order I told them I would come back the next day and would appreciate if the order was ready for pickup. Frankly I should have asked for a refund and left it. I thought it would be nice having a hardware store close to my new home but every experience has been more frustrating than the last I will not be visiting this location after Ive received the items which Ive already paid for by the way. Steer clear of this store unless unless you know exactly what you want and where it is and dont need anyones help and dont mind if everything you buy is covered and at least an inch of Dust an dirt before you even get it home.
Alls well that ends wellTrying to do a home reno project in the wake of the pandemic is tricky. Building materials are hard to source, and stores are understaffed. Although I had to jump through a lot of hoops to get composite decking in the length I needed ordered, so did the employees at Lowes.First-- I went in with my husband on a random Sunday to order material. Because it was a special order, I had to deal with the Pro Desk. But no one was available on a Sunday. So a cashier actually walked back to the back to retrieve someone to help us. He did a great job, but since he wasnt the regular Pro guy, he didnt know what he didnt know. Still, he got the material ordered.He did warn us about a long lead time-- and he was right. Although it was frustrating, Lowes did keep us informed. The only real difficulty was trying to coordinate the delivery. Because the delivery team may also be a bit understaffed, we got mixed messages and didnt always get a return on our phone calls. And I admit, the frustration of trying to finish the deck may have gotten the better of me and I may have reacted strongly to the miscommunication. But in the end, the material was delivered when they said it would be.
Lowe’s has everything in a do it yourself store that you need. When we visited, the staff may of been having a bad day because when we arrived looking for kitchen improvements, the staff seem flustered and bothered, so we apologized and moved on. Everyone is entitled to a bad day. I will still shop at Lowe’s and I hope life treats this person better in the future. We are sending positive vibes your way and we will see you at our next trip. This is not a bad review, just a virtual hug for this person. Let’s show some compassion as customers everyone; we can all do better.
Apparently Lowes changed the way their deliveries get done.I schedule a Sunday delivery ,they went to the wrong address .when they did the call ahead they said they couldnt go to a different address so off they went. Reschedule for Monday they delivered an already unboxed refrigerator that was Gray and not white as all the paperwork stipulated. After many phone calls trying to get things straightened out I cancel my order and went to Best buys. Also when I called in on Sunday after the first failed attempt to deliver I wanted to talk to the manager. Since they waste half my morning I thought I should get a discount. Never received an answer back .apparently theyre too busy. Oh well Ill take my business elsewhere for a while until they get their s*** together , if ever
I had to try back three times to return a purchase. The first two times I went in there, there was a young person at the cash register with a customer with something going on with an online order and no one else working at the return counter. There was one person in front of me. After about 10 minutes, There were 6 of us. Another 10 minutes went by and the line was out the sliding glass doors. I left after standing there a while the first time; the second time, I saw the line with, again, one person at the online order register and turned around and left. The third time, I went early, and there were three people working. They have terrific people on the floor and plenty of them if you go before 5pm, but they need to rethink the return counter.
Dont purchase anything more than light bulbs from this store. We went in to get a $1,000 natural gas grill, corrected the associate when they tried to ring up the propane grill, and then were ultimately delivered the propane grill anyway weeks later.The worst part of this is that when we went to the store to ask them to take the propane grill back and give us the natural gas grill we purchased, they:1. Told us they had to get the grill from the Wooster store, so we should have dealt with that store (when we had no idea Wooster was ever involved in the transaction)2. Refused to do anything for us because it was beyond the 30-day return date...which they are calculating from date of purchase, not delivery.Quite a swindle, when you think about it. Especially when you consider delays in shipments and deliveries. By the time you get your item and deem that it is incorrect, you wont be able to return it.
For many years I’ve chosen Lowe’s over Home Depot for home improvement needs. It much difference between the two in terms of products and prices. Due to one bad experience with a $40 return, I don’t intend to shop at Lowe’s. I bought a summer seasonal product in the fall (electric mosquito killer by Thermacell). When I started using it this summer, it wouldn’t hold a charge. I simply wanted to exchange it for the same thing and was told I couldn’t because it was over 30 days since I bought it. After explaining that I had no need to use it in the winter, I was met with “policy” comments and attitude. Won’t do business with Lowe’s again.
I had a beautiful and sweet young lady help me out in the paint dept. I had asked her a question about flex seal that she didnt know the answer to. So she had asked another associate and gave me the answer I needed.. thank you very much for your efforts. You are ever so sweet.
I recently purchased a new Napoleon grill from this store. What a great buying experience. The sales associate I dealt with in the garden center was Joshua Steele. He went above and beyond to make sure my transaction would be handled correctly after his shift was over and everything went as smooth as could be. The website said my furnace filter was in stock at this store. Needless to say it wasnt there. Whats frustrating is they have been out for for a few years now (before the shortages) and theres no gumption to order more. Happens with everything I try and get at this location. All the lowes in akron seem to be much better.
I got here at 1230pm trying to arrange to purchase a vanity. I waited for 15 minutes for a plumbing associate that never showed to answer the questions we had as it relates to instillation charges. As we were leaving we were told there was only one plumbing associate on shift and he was with someone. So much for customer service as I wont be going back there anytime soon.
Purchased over $500. in building materials. Untrained staff wasnt about to help us. Most said they were on break! Took over 30 minutes to get help. Dont ask for recommendations, they dont know their products!We had to tell them to come help us load materials onto trailer ...
Personally, I like Lowes over home depot for the convenience and prices. But the Wadsworth Lowes is better than most. The cashiers remember you, take the time to thank veterans, and the experts in each section go over and above simple aisle aides; they help you plan and give pro tips that pay off.
Best customer service I have seriously ever received! Looking for a new door? Go see Carey B (and a shout-out to George, who took my phone call and informed Carey I was on my way) in the Doors Department at the Wadsworth Lowe’s- extremely product knowledgeable, very helpful, and super speedy! He walked he through the whole process by helping me pick out a door, getting me the sale price because of my Home Depot experience, walked me to the paint department to get the color match to the door for the trim and then checked me out at a front register AND LOADED IT IN MY CAR! This guy has worked there 14 years and knows his stuff. I went to the Medina Home Depot first and walked out so disappointed by their customer service and lack of wanting to help me. I had took the day off work to purchase a door and do some home improvements. I then called Wadsworth Lowe’s and they hooked me up before I even got there. Their service MADE MY DAY! They are my new store!
There are a few good and helpful people there, but overall, its just not usually a great shopping experience. Help is usually difficult to come by and when you get help, its not always friendly. There are some great people there, but if I have an option, I usually head somewhere else first.
I have never been treated so poorly in my life. I placed an online order and when I went to pick it up I was told that it was sold to somebody else. When I got back home after the hour and a half round trip drive and waiting for them to look for my order, I got a phone call that John just did not look hard enough and my order was there. We called Lowes the next day and they said that they would deliver the order to my house for free... One week later I get an email saying that the order has been canceled so we call Lowes again. This time they tell us that there is nothing that we can do and they put us on hold for an hour while we wait for somebody to get back to us. In the meantime the cost of my order went up by $82 so I cant simply just order it without a price modification. this lows apparently has no desire to make things right when they screw up. I tried to get the district managers phone number and they refused to hand any information out.
Im really tired if trying to check out and the self check out not working. Out of 8 stations only two of them were working. I used a gift card and the card reader would not work. Tried to use cash for the balance of my purchase and the person helping with the check outs said they had no cash in the machines. The other big home Improvement store was the same thing the day before. Great job guys, way to be customer friendly
Ordered 52, 16’ boards, from Lowe’s to be delivered to my house. They told me the window was from 8am-4pm. Not only did they deliver it at 630pm, it was only 40 boards. I called to see where the rest of the 12 boards went and had to speak with 3-5 different people who have no freaking clue what’s going on. Finally, able to track my shipment and schedule it for Monday. Very incompetent group of people at this location. Only reason they deserve maximum of 1 Star is because the delivery driver did a fantastic job squeezing through my long drive way and dropping off the boards.
Not very helpful, almost feels like they are trying to avoid helping people although there are many shop floor employees. The employees seem to want to carry on conversations with each other instead of helping. Almost all of the middle aged employees and younger were openly and audibly speaking using many profanities. Finally got someone to help and the attitude was aggressive.
I went to pick up some tubes of caulking. I had called the day before to be sure they had what I wanted. Even placed an order on line after speaking with an associate. When I got there they did not have enough of the color I had asked about. So I had them check for another store stock & drove to Wadsworth store to get the rest of caulking I needed for the next day.
This store has the absolute worst Customer service! I had to call 8 times just to get a price on an appliance. At 1:00 pm and the girl in appliances answering the phone is giggling with her friend about what she wanted in her cofftee? After 3 attempts to get her to answer??? So called and asked for customer service, they didn’t answer 3 times !! So I pressed for hardware and a kind man named Tom couldn’t find her either. So he walked back and low and behold he found her drinking her coffee. I had waited for her to get the only scratch and dent they had for 25 minutes. Ryan Swails is Stire Mgr. He wasn’t there. When she argued with me that she about the time I waited. She hung up on me!!! DO NOT SHOP WADSWORTH LOWES!!
Sadly I forgot to get the gentlemans name that help me out in the plumbing section be he was very helpful, the store was out of stock on the things I needed (understandably too given everyone in the area was having the same issue with flooding) he helped me come up with a way to make things work the same way I had intended. The entire store also had a very friendly/helpful attitude as I was asked multiple times on my trip through the store how I was doing and if I needed help. Lowes is definitely my go to store for a lot of my needs.
Often times I go to this Lowe’s and there are no flat bed carts or lumber carts available inside or outside. It seems like this store uses them for their own use as there are plenty in the aisles stacked with materials that are just sitting around. I’ve come into buy lumber and couldn’t find any cart to put it in. I walked outside and still non were available. I left and went to Home Depot because of that. Annoying.
Awful customer service. Needed lumber delivered never was statused I had to call come to find out they do not deliver products on Saturday using flatbed truck!!!! How am I supposed to know that????? Rescheduled of Monday 10.19.2020 first time they ever reached out to me and said could not deliver today driver did not come to work. OMG like it is my fault you only have one driver???? I have contractor at my home waiting for my timbers had to send them awat. Went to store to cancel order and asked to speak to store Manager. They pages multilpe times Ryan never showed up they sent Ed who was no help. Called store from parking lot for manager Ryan seems now in meeting. Terrible service and lack of communication. Stay clear of this company. Going to write CEO Marvin Ellison in Mooresville NC to inform him of lack of service. Will also post to their site people should be aware of their lack of customer service.
Pro Services was extremely helpful and actually had some really good deals for me as an independent contractor! Every single discount I am able to get is appreciated. Great customer service and the workers are very informative and helpful as well as courteous. Highly recommended them!
Bought a dishwasher from this location and ended up having to go in towards closing time to grab an adapter to hookup the $500+ dishwasher I’d bought earlier that day and not only was NO one willing to help me locate the $1.29 part I needed, the associate I able to track down from the plumbing Dept. actually had the nerve to say, “I can’t think of where to locate what you’re looking for. I’m going home.” Turned and walked away. Their competitor box store is the same distance the other direction from my house. Guess where I’m shopping from now on?
Knew exactly where to get items thanks to the website which tells you what aisle & bin number the item is located. Definitely a time saver for both me and store employees who Im sure are happy to be interrupted as they go about their daily duties. In addition, Lowes consistently has good quality items at a fair/reasonable cost.
The employees here lie to get your order. We were told water heater would arrive in 2 to 7 days. Three weeks later....nothing. Every time you call they are clueless. The place is a joke. The never called back with install quote either. We canceled order and had plumber install in 2 days. We will never shop at lowes again.They did same thing with our carpet 3 years ago. Its classic bait and switch. They give you quick lead time to get you to buy then dont follow through.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Went in yesterday to buy a fridge and waited for at least 30 minutes until someone came to help. There were 2 other people waiting also. We pushed the call button, called the store, and asked 2 different employees for help finding someone. Went back today to pick the fridge up and waited over an hour for them to bring it out!!! I will never shop here again!
It was a 940 on a Saturday night as I went through store to just get prices and measurements for a Sunday project. They were moving things around with forklift in garden center and saw me, stopped what they were doing immediately and offered help and stopped what they were working on so I could look in the closed off area, then a gentleman inside helped with some questions I had in fertilizer. Never did I feel rushed because I was closing. These are young kids on a Saturday night and made me feel like a priority. Wish I knew there names so they would get credit but it was May 4th if that helps. Great job finding some young guys that put company and client first.
I can almost always find everything I need when I go to Lowes. The prices seem to be fairly decent. They never really disappoint me theyve always been really really good and the people that that work there have been some of the kindest people that Ive met. Always willing to help
Store has horrible management. No one knows what’s going on with orders and you will be told your order is ready when they still haven’t even pulled the 2x10x16s from the top of shelf of the racks and it’s been 2 days. Not helpful in finding things or with loading. Would recommend going to fairlawn where things run much smoother.
I developed a crush on a girl in the paint section while I was here. Also, great service and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Beyond that, its a Lowes. Big ups for the Veteran parking. If youre a Veteran, you know that parking is for the elders among us. Be respectful ;)
My family and I have had the worst of luck this last week with this crazy pandemic going on. With losing my job and in a constant worry our refrigerator decided to give up on us. So, we decided to take the plunge and go to Wadsworth Lowes because with 2 little kids you CAN NOT go without a fridge. So we had gone in there thinking we knew what we were going to do, but then we met an amazing lady named Deb. After small talk about our kids and wrestling and finally picking out what I wanted, Plan A had fallen through for us and it was time to move to Plan B- that is when Deb worked her magic and our family is ever so greatful for her. She got us a really great deal. We will never be able to thank her and the manager Vince enough! Thank you again, and wrestling families will always stick together!So needless to say, I will continue going and visiting this store. Thank you to this store for this great deal! In a tough time they sure put some light in.
Yesterday an older man around his 80s was checking out and said he had military discount. His id was not asked for. When it came to my turn, I also said I have military discount (yes Im a veteran). I was asked for my id. I am extremely offended that I had to show proof but another person did not. When I asked why me and not the previous man, I was told it was because hes older and had a US Army hat on. How in the hell does that prove your a veteran. So because Im 40 and dont have a hat on means I may not be a veteran. I am beyond offended by this interaction and will now shop Home Depot instead of Lowes.
I like this store better then Home Depot due to the fact you can actually get some help here. I would recommend your doing your homework if purchasing appliance since I do not believe they are extremely knowable. I always do my homework so it was not a huge breaker but the extra fees is what turned me away since they have charges on everything when other stores do not.
I am a father of 4 children, ages 11, 9, 4, and 2. I stopped in Thursday evening to exchange a air filter for my furnace. The lady behind the desk was on her way out and stopped and and helped me. She evan found the transaction in your system from many months ago.When I came back up to check out with the correct filter, and drink, I was 0.13 cents short. Barb was great, I was given an in store merchandise card, and didnt think that I would need any money on me. I told Barb that I had the change in the car and that I would come right back in to give it to her. She scrounged for change to help me out. Barb ended up pulling out a quarter (the only change she had on her) out of her pocket and paid the difference. I told her that I would be right back with the change, but she refused.The simple fact that Barb wanted to help me shows her dedication to people. Your company is blessed to have her.Barb, keep showing grace to people. You are the type of people that this world needs in the day and age we are in. God bless you.If anyone in the company reads this, please get this back to Barb. She is doing a great job. Thank you.
We did a floor installation with them (or tried to). They contract out each part of the job to different companies and then every step along the way the contractors screwed up, and the customer service and managers at the Wadsworth Lowes we the worst at trying to help Ive ever seen. Tons of excuses and passing the blame. They apparently contract out so they can act like none of the problems that come up are their fault, and then they claim theres nothing they can do instead of making things right. Extremely dissapointing at each and every level. The corporate contract could only tell us that we had to figure out a solution with the local store. Completely disrupted our whole familys lives for 2 months. The store managers favorite saying was, oh thats too bad. Never again.
The guy mark was great ,it was the computer and everyone above him that sucked.mark new his product and explained everything in professional manner. But when I am told one thing from the manager s above Mark and I leave ,stopped when I get to my truck to leave ,then summon back into the store and undo what I was told ..I am still considering canceling my 4000.00 appliance order. I have had nothing but excellent customer service from this store. Lowes has always had what I was looking for and when I have had them perform work at my home the results are outstanding (they have installed a new gas stove, a sliding door, a water heater on a holiday weekend). Lowes will be my 1st stop for my next project.
The Lowes in Wadsworth, Ohio is a very well-kept store with friendly staff. We went for ceiling paint and were shown a variety of products allowing us to decide based on our needs and price. We were greeted in every department, but no one made us feel pressured to buy.
Absolutely terrible place. They make it almost impossible to return anything. The lady basically got hostile with me because I asked to return a ratchet, which Cobalt is supposed to have a 100% no hassle return policy, and even though I can buy the same exact tool from them they are not willing to replace it because they changed the item number and so in the computer it brings up the wrong item. And even though we can both sit here and see the ratchet, theyre not willing to replace the ratchet, because the item numbers wrong, and I am being unreasonable because I expect them to take a return on their return policy.And if you even question what they say who act offended and act like youre being aggressive for saying that theyre wrong.I advise everyone to avoid buying Kobalt Tools because they do not stand behind their warranties.
Ordered 5 appliances only one was to be custom (dishwasher) they told us they would be ready in two weeks . We ordered on the 24 the of November and they planned to deliver them on the 14th of December. On the week leading up to the delivery we called twice to check the arivarr time and to check the address never once did they mention that our refrigerator never came in. So when the 14th came they called to say they were not going to deliver any of our appliances due to our refrigerator not coming in and they never updated our address change. They would not deliverer the 4 other appliances without the Fridge even tho they say free delivery for all appliances. Terrible customer service and now having to function with out a fridge for at least a week due to someone not ordering our refrigerator in the first place. I would not recommend them for anything.
Do not come to this place- Lowes in Wadsworth! I wouldnt send there even my enemy if I would have any. They screwed up our kitchen renovation completely! Tracy was feeding me up with promises and excuses. After all, they become very rude! She admits she is not a good salesperson, but she still insists she measured everything right even though the wall oven doesnt fit into the cabinet! The cabinet 10inch smaller! And I have to tell you that - from exactly that wall oven on a display everything started and I asked numerous of times PLEASE MAKE SURE IT FITS INTO THE CABINET After 2 months of waiting and getting the unfit one - they offer me to wait another few weeks or to cancel the whole deal! So, I excepted the second. After many other calls finally they returned money but to return their appliances back I had to deal with more problems.Instead of admitting a mistake and do something constructive about it - they were trying to find whom to blame. Tracy blamed oven as a wrong one, her manager Brian blamed me on breaching contract and didnt want to return money back for scam measuring visit!Such a bitter experience I would never expect from such a big company.Those people are still working in the store! Beware!Our friend also told me - they overpriced the plumber and since then he never came back to Lowes. Also you can notice by yourself that not many cars you can see on their parking lot at Lowes. At the same time Home Depot - just one exit away has twice as many
Ordered online so I could go down and pick up ran into manager outside sent me down to other end for lumber a hole down there playing on phone said I had to go in the other way which is why I ordered online for pickup so I wouldnt have to so I had to go into one register where everybody was standing around not doing nothing at the other end of the building then I had to go all the way back where the girl helped me out and she went down and got my order herself then I had to pull back down to the other side of the building again I understand things are a little different now and everybodys trying to be safe Maybe they need to find the rude a-hole at the door playing on his phone something to do in the back pretty disappointing for Lowes have no plans to return anytime soon
Every single time I go up to lowes i get no help with anything. Ive called and asked questions and I get hung up on. Went to home depot to get my siding.. I just called up there to ask a question about color matching paint for my garage and they hung up on me.. never going back! Ill go somewhere that customer service isnt terrible
Is it just me or does lowes train their employees to ignore customers. Seems like a social club for employees and the customer is that annoying person that interrupts employee bonding time. Continues to be my last choice when big box shopping but occasionally will have something specific that the other big box doesnt carry. Recent strong media campaign gets you in the door with high expectation only to be brought back to reality by poorly managed stores and inexperienced employees...found what I needed in the tool section covered in dust...only employee that came over to me to inform store was closing at 9 instead of advertised 10 pm so I would need to leave....sad but true for wadsworth location. Hopefully HD doesnt hire these employees when lowes goes out of business
Ordered a smoker and patio set smoker came yesterday with no manual have called to get it next morning and asked to speak with manager wouldnt even answer the call have tried calling a few others to get manual cant seem to get one keep getting told go on line and download it when I shouldnt have to it should have come with it um sure there was one with it we had it put together and delivered still waiting on patio furniture not sure when I will get it they cant tell me either will never do this again
Bought a ring doorbell they said go to customer service to pick it up 30 min later they said they didnt have one after I payed for it then when the returned my money they said they couldnt figure out how to return the money for the protection plan after another 30 min they only gave me money for the actual product
Just horrible...on at least 4 occasions using curbside pickup...no one answered the phones.Always told they are having a problem with phone or computer.Today I waited..as did the woman in the car next to me over a half hour to get through.Finally I flagged down an employee..a grumpy employee at that...to go ask customer service to answer their lousy phone.Their phones do work at this store..as when they do occasionally pick up...you can listen to them chat it up with each other.How long can Lowes keep using the poor phone service excuse when the issue is more of a lazy work force.?
Not good. The entire time I was there the announcement system repeatedly said special assistance needed at so and so. This was very annoying especially because I did not find what I was looking for. Im sure this does not happen everyday but I did not have a good visit.
Went to Lowes in Akron to get marble chips they were out or as they put rocks had to go to Wadsworth 8 Miles Away got to watch worth today so I dont think we have any I said they said you do will let me check okay then they had to find somebody to put them in my car what a mess old man putting these heavy bags in my trunk while young guy stood there talking on the damn phone very stupid

2022-05-15Went there for kitchen cabinets, we were very impressed with the staff,met a cabinet and kitchen planner named Sue her knowledge and expertise were outstanding. She worked with us tirelessly to get us the product and price point we needed,we also got a great deal on a wall oven that we were looking for as well.Most importantly we needed to be at a certain price point and she got us the style of cabinet we wanted at an outstanding price and we are extremely pleased with our project that was put together. Thanks Sue and lowes,great job!👍

2021-06-09All Lowes stores are pretty consistent. They usually have the same floor plan and carry the same items. Some stores have a wider selection of some items than other stores. This store did not have a very big selection of outdoor trees. They have mostly everything you could ever need for your home remodeling and landscaping projects though. They have a great selection of lighting, both indoor and outdoor.

2021-09-20Its a big box store, nothing special.Jim Winning is the manager and his staff is usually good about their customer relation skills. Occasionally some employees go above and beyond and this store I would give 4.5 stars. However Lowes, like many big box stores, tends to price gouge on cheaper Chinese made goods. Higher price points wouldnt be an issue if everything was quality USA made items.Lowes has a habit of skipping holidays. Its Sept. 10th and the Christmas stuff is going up already! Its still summer!!Better than the local Home Depot.Needs more register workers, the self check out it is bad and although its the way of the future, I dont like it.

2022-03-01Clean and friendly employees. They were very helpful in purchasing our new washer. They delivered the washer the next day and it was damaged. I sent it back with the delivery truck and try for many days after that to resolve the issue and get another washer. I got no replies and ended up buying one from Best Buy that was better. I ended up stopping at the store a week later and stopped at customer service and complained about the service and how nobody would call us back. All we needed to do was cancel the order. Josh and Barb were so understanding and even expressed their frustration with the new procedures. Josh was able to get a hold of somebody and got everything canceled and to get our money refunded. Thank you Josh and Barb for your efforts and taking care of the situation. They are the only reason I did reduce the stars to a 1 star. I give Josh and Barb 5 stars

2022-05-20First, and foremost. I would never recommend Wadsworth Lowes to get cabinets and granite. My experience has been awful. I started, my kitchen remodel, in October. I have yet to get my cabinets in and granite. The delivery of my cabinets where broke, when they came.. that was a delay. Over and over. The guy who measured for my cabinets didnt listen, to me. My cabinets where short, from where they were to end at. I had to order more, to replace what he lacked. And replace it myself. Long story short.,, pay the extra money and go to professionals Lowes is not the place.

2022-01-30We ordered and paid for a washing machine from Lowes as they were pretty much the only company that had it available. They set up an appointment to deliver it on Jan 29th telling us that the delivery window was from 8 AM until 8 PM. I questioned the giant window since it made us sit home all day waiting, but they told me that was the only option. So we sat home all day, never hearing a word. I finally called they at 7 PM to see if they were still coming. No, they were not….after sitting home all day. They claim they tried to delivery, but they did not. No phone call, no knock on the door and we never left our house. Lowes price was $100 more than Home Depot, but Home Depot was out of stock. Now we are praying that they deliver it on Feb 1st and we will have to take off work to be here….but I do not trust them. I wish we had another option. I will be avoiding Lowes whenever possible.

2022-03-18Do not recommend Lowes for any flooring or backsplash work. My experience was nothing but poor communication and even wise customer service by that department. Had to work with other team members (kudos to the customer service desk and the appliance manager for taking ownership). My recommendation is to find a local contractor because Lowes just blames everyone else in the process.

2021-12-30A couple of employees realized that the person for plumbing was not available. They said we may not know about shark bites but we will help you the best we can. Looks like they were his own thing at the front of the store and came all the way to the back of the store.I really appreciate the willingness and effort to help. I got what I needed thanks to them.
