I went in (around 7:00 pm) looking for plumbing antifreeze and couldnt find it. One of the store employees (a tall gentleman named John) assisted me in finding the item! He search throughout the store in locations where the merchandise was supposed to be with no success. After John asked various employees and finally finding a supervisor that knew where the pallet of merchandise was stored, he was able to retrieve 2 gallons for me. I just wanted to say thank you John for not giving up...Awesome customer service!!!
The WORST customer service outbof all the stores is at this one. They dont trsin their employees and just hire anyone with a pulse. Especially for the front end cashiers. The older employees are great. Its the young kids they put at the registees that dont even know how to look up at customers or even talk. I will NEVER shop this location again and neither will my family.
Great products. Great service. They have about anything you need. Sometimes they are a better price, sometimes Home Depot is a better price. We talked to someone about lawn mowers. He explained that even though John Deer is a $100-200 higher, its a lot easier to get parts for seasonal tune-up or to get it fixed. Columbus has John Deer shops, where as finding Craftsman parts is difficult now.
Went to pick up some plants and wasnt really expecting much, I was so surprised to see so many options during this time of year (winter OH). Got a plant and some supplies, unfortunately they dont really care for their plants well and I knew better to check it once I got home. Sure enough it had Thrips... Not a big deal with some treating theyll die. But if you buy plants there just make sure to check for bugs before adding them in with other plants.
Very nice staff and had no issues bringing my pup in for a training session. They allowed him to walk briefly off leash to work on his heel, and also allowed him to walk on pallets and plywood under supervision. We bought some waters and left without a problem. Staff definitely gave my pup lots of loving before we left! And also let them give him some treats. ❤❤ Will definitely bring him back soon to work more and hopefully make employees smile again during these hard times.
I had to buy a dryer cord the The sales associate was a little rude. Then I went up to the front of the store looking for a basic tool set One associate just kept walking by me and never offered any kind of help. I was just a little disappointed in the overall experience, it is not like this all the time whatsoever it may have just been an off day.
If you want to get your items as quickly as you can DO NOT order them for pickup. Its 100% faster to walk in, find your item, and checkout. Ive been to this location twice, on different days, at different times, to pick up my items. No one is ever around, or you are simply ignored. While service has taken a sharp decline in the last year or so, I dont have to put up with it. Items will be returned and ordered on Amazon. I blamed the pandemic early on and all the handouts that were offered. This is now on the companies. If you cant get people to show up and work, then start pulling people from corporate and make them man a cash register.
Lowes treats veterans much better than Home Depot. The service in lowes shop is very good, the staff is very nice and professional, but the delivery and free deliver service is horrible. The time is completely out of punctuality, wasting users time to wait for them, but they dont even put up a note on the phone saying that they have been there. After an hour phone call, their customer service lady promised a call from management and an early drop off. Neither happened. Praying for it to be delivered today. So, in the future, I will pick up the purchases.
Most of the times it is challenging to find some help when needed. When you do, the person have no clue about the things. He would say that someone from that department will help me and I end up standing there for long time than I anticipate. I noticed that this happens at pretty much all Lowes.
Avoid Lowe’s on Brice road. So we went to buy a gazebo from them. They only had the display. So we went to Kroger bought gift cards to save on gas. They took the display down days later in a rush and bent areas to the point it can’t even be put together properly. I have been back and fourth several times between purchase and pickup. I paid someone to come out to put it up only to find out it couldn’t be put together still had to pay them for their time. Lowe’s isn’t willing to do anything other then give us a merchant gift card back which it is their fault it’s broke in the first place. Took more then 2 hours to get a manager on the phone they avoided it until I showed up at the store. They could of at least offered the next up gazebo but they offered nothing for their negligence
0/5 stars. The customer service I have received has been the worst of any dealings in my 45 years. Purchased and paid for an $850 dishwasher over 5 weeks ago that is defective and leaks anytime it is ran. Tried to work with the store manager but he pawned me off to another customer service team who have been giving me the run around for over 2 weeks. They sent out a GE service technician who couldn’t resolve the leak issue. End result is that here I am 6 weeks after the fact that I paid for this dishwasher and STILL unable to use it or get anyone at Lowe’s to resolve this issue. Tried to reach the store General Manager but apparently nobody has voice mail at Lowe’s or returns phone calls. No other choice at this point than to make this a legal matter. What a shame and absolutely horrible customer service process this Fortune 100 company has. Think twice before purchasing any appliances at Lowe’s.
I bought a Black & Decker Steam Mop there and went to get replacement pads for cleaning. There were none there. All they had were for Shark model steam mops. Every time Ive gone there they dont have any. Makes me wonder if they even carry them. Guess Ill have to order from Amazon.
Placed an online order then realized I needed more stuff on the way there. I asked about shopping & she said theyd get it ready. Was ready to go when we were done. Workers were nice & helpful. This might become my new home store even though I have a Lowes 2 minutes from my house.
A very unfriendly store. I would only recommend going there if there is something you need and there isnt another option close by. I am sure there are some nice people there. I just didnt find them. The lady at the pickup counter straight lied to me when I asked about a pickup order and when I put it in. I have an email from Lowes! When I went looking for the item, no one could help me. Apparently no one knows where shims are! Are all the employees specialized so I needed to find the shim expert? Honestly big box home improvement places like these leave a lot to be desired. I have yet to find a Lowes that is worthy of my continued loyalty as a shopper. This one was far from the exception. They should be used for convenience only as a shopper.
Daniel in the lawn and garden area is fantastic he went above and beyond to find the lawnmower I was looking for. He asked one of the assistant managers and the guy just said I don’t know but Daniel found it. Just because of his hard work I will never go to another Lowe’s or a competitor. This man deserves a raise.
Bought a fridge and a lawn mower that they didnt have in store. Dorien, Sales Specialist, at Lowes in Reynoldsburg was fantastic, very kind, helpful. The system told him that the fridge delivery would be moved to 2 days later because of the lawn mower. We said no problem.Delivery drivers were also quick, considerate, and efficient. Except they said they only had the fridge.Called the store 2x to be hung up after waiting 10 - 15 minutes on hold each time. I only finally got through on the 3rd. Person I spoke with on the phone was mildly helpful, offered for us to pick it up or have it delivered. Rather than deal with delivery, I offered to pick it up.We just bought a house and have tons of renovations and projects to do. This was somewhat a rough start for Lowes customer service at the beginning of what will inevitably be thousands of dollars in business.
So my husband put 6 items in my cart on the app. Got to Lowes and the internet was so bad I could not bring up my app or cart I even tried signing into guest internet with no success. This isnt the first time this happened and it is so frustrating. I went to Menards to purchase items at least my cart on app works there.
My driver was delivering 2 racks of plants. Just needed a forklift to take them off and a signature. Easy. But instead theres 3 forklifts outside moving mulch. Told my driver we off of work come back tomorrow, no one is here. Sits for 30 mins watching workers still moving mulch but supposed to be off work. Had to sit overnight until morning. Zero stars. If u dont want to work stay home and let someone else have your job. Simple.
If I could rate this specific store lower than 1 star I would.Absolutely terrible customer service, nobody at the store picks up the phone. Nobody at the store can look up anything at all and is completely un-trained.Wanna call the corporate customer service and complain? Maybe get a refund? Great, you’ll just need to stay on hold for about 2 hours of your day.Support a small business with your money this place is a joke.
This store is understaffed and unorganized. I’ve had multiple bad experiences with online orders and in store orders. Delays, delays, delays. When I got a message to pickup my item, I went to the store and waited in the long line for my pickup. Once I got to the counter my item wasn’t up front for them to give me. They had to go in the back to find it. Then they tell me they need a forklifted operator to get it out and there are none available. Another instance was when I ordered a front door. It was supposed to be delivered on Thursday. So I take off work Friday to work on installing it. The door never showed up Thursday. So I called and got the cycle of phone messages because no one in the store would answer the phones. When I did finally get a hold of someone a day later and many call attempts, the guy in charge of delivery said he would get it out to me on Saturday. That never happened either. Now it’s Sunday and I still have no door delivered, but it’s sitting in the store since Thursday. Too bad they aren’t renting out the Lowe’s pickup truck or I would rent that to take the front door home myself. If you need something in stock, the inventory level you see online might be wrong. The check out lines are extremely long. I could go on and on about my disappointing experiences with this Lowe’s.
I called this store three times (long distance) today to speak to someone about lawn mowers. The lady who answered the phone transferred me all three times to Lawn and Seasonal. Phone would ring for a long time, then ring busy, then they disconnected me. I finally gave up and decided I wouldn’t deal with this store.
Worst customer service around. Employees aren’t trained enough in certain positions and some flat out refuse to help you. They’ll pass you on to someone already busy. One employee at the service desk told me they didn’t carry the item I ordered online for store pick up. This store doesn’t even get busy. Silver Dr is three times as busy and much better staff.
Just bought a new grill for the holiday weekend. Its gonna be fun putting it together. Lowes has done a good job marking the line spacing for social distancing. Even though the checkout line was big they did a great job keeping the line moving at a good pace. Would recommend stopping here for hardware needs.
Ive made multiple curbside pick up and instore pick up orders and it seems as though everytime something goes wrong. Most recently of 2 orders I was notified my 80 pieces of lumber was ready for pick up and when I arrived it wasnt even pulled yet. I ended up pulling it myself because the only one around to help me was a much much older gentleman that pointed out where everything was. Another order I placed in the store for instore pickup due to the lumber shortage was supposed to arrive before the labor day holiday. I didnt receive a call saying it was recieved by the store so I figured ok maybe it was delayed due to the holiday. No big deal but when I call 2 days after the holiday multiple times throughout the day and get hung up on or dont even get my call accepted its quite frustrating. Wish I could say Menards was any better but they arent. What has happened to customer service?
A good place to get home improvement items. They have the usual hardware store things and have appliances and other kitchen remodeling items, bathroom improvement, etc. Their prices are reasonable, and staff are knowledgeable. Their landscape stock is excellent, arguably the best of the big boxes. The Behr paint is highly rated. Finally, they have lumber and other building materials.
We ordered stuff to redo our bathroom and it took way longer then the estimated time. The pickup date kept changing for the products. The one piece that was gonna be the hardest to get in ended up being the first to get here. Over all that experience wasnt great but most of the time is good.
Lowes is an extremely diverse store that has everything from paint 2 Lumber 2 cleaning products 2 light bulbs, you name it and you probably can find it, and if you cannot find it they can probably order it for you. The Isles are pretty wide so you are not having to worry about bumping carts while trying to shop which makes shopping here very pleasant, the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and easy to find when you need help. The store is broken down into sections according to the products of the area which ensures that the person working in that area is knowledgeable in that area. The restrooms were very clean as was the store itself. We also like the fact that they have self-checkout when youre only buying a few items and are able to get out of there quickly when youre just trying to get one item and leave.
Worst customer service ever. Lied about a dryer being in stock and continuously lied about when it would be delivered. Total consumer fraud. No communication or transparency. Any associate or manager who works there is worthless. No one is able to help or take any action to assist you. Will be a Home Depot customer from now on. DO NOT SHOP HERE!
Need a new front door. Went to the store, scheduled them to come measure. They came and measured. Went back to the store and picked out all the details. Paid for everything. Or so I thought. They arrive to install but dont have the storm door or the door handles and lock. They tell me it will be another $400 on top of the what I already paid. Will never spend another dime at this business.
We bought a washer and dryer set during a black Friday sale and were told the items would be delivered in 10-14 days. After 2 weeks, we received confirmation that our items had arrived and would be delivered in 2 days. The following day, we were told our dryer was out of stock and they had no clue when it would be in stock again. We were told to select another dryer, and we selected a downgraded model from what we had already purchased. We were then asked to pay $70 difference because the current price of the cheaper model was more than what we originally paid. I explained that we had saved more than 30% by purchasing our washer and dryer on Black Friday and that we expected to maintain those same savings. After speaking to multiple different employees and managers via customer service and a local store, we were told that the original 30% savings could not be matched because it was no longer Black Friday. The best they stated they could do was wave the $70 and match the price we had already paid for the more expensive model. We purposely waited for Black Friday to make these purchases and saved a lot of money by doing so. This was taken away from us by being forced to wait for a model that would never show up and then taking away the sale discount we had earned. We are appalled at being forced to pay the same price for a cheaper model dryer that does not have as many features as the original model. It is not right to take away savings that we had originally received and would have continued to receive if Lowes had just delivered the product that was guaranteed to us. We will never again return to Lowes and will continue to tell friends and family about the horrendous service we received.
Lowes has lost a customer. We had a four hour window for delivery of our flooring. They were 2.5 hours out of the window with no call. I understand things get delayed and would have been completely fine as long as I knew they were running late. I was told its because they cant call when driving but you have a call center who can update customers and the helper with the driver who can call. Then when they arrive extremely late we were told by the driver Lowes does not give them time windows. We were told by the store manager they do give time windows. So clearly your driver has a habit of lying to customers. When we received the flooring there are two damaged boxes and a missing transition. The driver then asks well didnt you order extra you should be okay. That is not the point we paid for product and you are giving us damaged products. When we called the store the manager asked if we wanted to order two new boxes. I informed her that they will be ordering and replacing the damaged product we are not buying it.The service today was extremely frustrating, unprofessional and disappointing. I requested a call from the GM of the store on Monday because I was told he was not there .Just a warning to all, this is the type of service to expect from Lowes after spending thousands in there store on flooring.
We were looking for toilet brushes & a plunger. We looked everywhere. Walked our legs off ! We asked at Service Counter. She said aisles 34 & 35. Not there. We finally found brushes several aisles away...but they were all stiff bristle ...no variety ...not what we wanted. Never did find plungers. A hardware store...no plungers?
Placed an online order and after waiting halfway through the next day I ended up just going and getting the stuff myself- Home Depot for me from now on even if it is much further away. This isn’t the first time Lowe’s has fallen short.I have never left a negative review on any store or service until now. 2 stars only because I’m aware of the Covid situation
Id say the customer service is really bad in this particular location. I got the elder lady in the tiles section eye balling me for asking a question because she was busy working on her computer. On another occasion where I needed to find some item and approached an associate in the appliances section, the first sentence coming out of her mouth was: I cant go with you. They really need to train their employees on customer service. For now, I will avoid this place and go to Menard instead for better service and cheaper and quality products.
Overall a good location, clean and decently stocked. The days of helpful, knowledgeable staff seem to be gone but they still have the stuff youre looking for most of the time. Lumber is stocked decent but seems they are often out of what Im looking for and I hate chasing someone down. Used their delivery service recently, that worked out nicely but did cost an extra $60-70.
The gentelman that helped us with our pick up order of 3000sqft of laminate was an amazing example of customer service. He literally spent an hour helping get us loaded up and on top of it all he was a veteran. I wish I had learned his name to thank him for his lifetime of dedicated service.
I am not happy with the service I received today.I placed a phone call to the store this morning, waited on hold for a long time to inquire about their price match policy. They explained what I needed to have in order to price match an item.Later today I stopped in to make my purchase and was told they could not price match this specific item.I explained that I had called to verify this morning and they didn’t seem to care that whoever is answering their phones is not familiar with their own store’s policies. No effort was made to make this situation right and I will not be shopping here again.
The absolute worst experience at a Lowes. We were there an hour. They lost our product ordered online. 3 separate associates could not find it. We asked to speak to a manager. No manager ever came to assist us despite 3 pages and an associate searching the store foe them.I am a retail manager and this was the most incompotent garbage show I have ever had the displeasure of watching. Please do not shop here.
Do not do two hour in store pick up. Order my items and after 3 hours of not seeing progress on the updates I went to Lowe’s. Called 4 times and no one answered. So I went into the store, waited in line to see an associate, which took a while. After speaking with the associate they could not find the item I ordered. Stating it shows we have six in stock but unable to locate in the store.
We like Lowes and have bought most of what was needed for a house we are rehabbing. One caution though they display items that are discontinued and you dont know it until you ask for someone to order it. Makes planning for items to coordinate a difficult process. So always ask before proceeding to your next step. They also display appliances with accessories that are not included in the price advertised!
How much can one store screw up? $10,000 worth thats how much. They gave my washer and dryer do another customer. After waiting eight hours for them to deliver a skid of drywall they called me at 4:30 and say they cant make it for three more days. I dont know if I will ever receive my orders. This is going on for over a month.
My wife and I went to Lowes to buy an 96 x 27 piece last week. We knew nothing about carpets. Spoke with two employees, and both were really helpful. The first employee was not even from the carpet department, but he answered all the questions we had with kindness. Then, the carpet department employee came over and took over. He was also very helpful and respectful. We appreciate it very much.
My experience was miserable that I had a Lowes today first off I tried to buy a portable Honeywell air conditioning unit online the day before and I tried to use military discount and it said that I couldnt do I couldnt use a military discount online Id have to come to the store. I went to my local Lowes store and did not see any portable air conditioners on the floor that I wanted then I asked customer service personnel to look up the item for me and she said she couldnt do it and I had to literally walk to the entrance of the store because my phone did not get any reception in the store to look it up go back to her and give her a model number. So she found the AC unit that I wanted and ring it up honor computer and then she tells me that my military discount cannot be applied and she doesnt know why so I did not or was not able to buy the AC unit online and get a military discount I go to the store and did not get it a military discount so at this point Im wasting my time and losing my patience. This is my second time using my Lowes credit card and each and every time I am totally dissatisfied but the service with the lies and that was in that discourage me 100% not to shop at Lowes when I first thought about buying this AC unit I was going to purchase it at Walmart because even though theyre not the greatest that give better service than Lowes.
Sadly no one ever answers the phone at Lows. I wanted to purchase an item from Lows but was unable to reach anyone to see if the item was in stock. After multiple calls there phone system just loops you back to the main menu no matter what option you choose. I tried calling their corporate sales number with no success. Their website states to check with the store to see if the item is in stock but this is impossible if no one ever answers. Im sure Im not the only person to have this problem with Lows which means they are losing out on a lot of sales.
Customer service somewhat hard to come by while in the store. Seemed like they were somewhat understaffed during the time of our visit which was between 7 and 8 p.m.Also have had a questionable experience with the delivery of a refrigerator that we purchased there. Looks as though they have passed a floor model on to us and werent going to say anything about it. Still investigating! No owners manual or warranty paperwork provided. No information on the operation or function of the ice maker, basic stuff but still it should have been brought with delivery of the unit. I had to return to the store after speaking to the manager for about 20 minutes and convincing her to print me the owners manual offline, not extremely happy at this point!
Ordered an item online listed as same-day pickup. Shows 20 in stock. Called 26 hours after placing the order to inquire and was told I see it sitting here. We might get to it today or maybe tomorrow. Were really busy. Then why list it as Same Day? Im now an Ace Hardware customer.
Pathetic. Found a refrigerator on line in stock. Got to the store only to find not available at any store in Columbus or distribution center. Settled on another with the caviat it would be delivered in two days. Tried to call the number on the receipt for delivery info only to have it ring non-stop followed by annoying static ridden music. Drove to the store and associate told me I would get a call the night before delivery. WRONG. How does this place stay in business?
Ethan in Lumber is an amazing person. He helped me several times with a very difficult wood project. He always listened to exactly what I needed done and made it happen with the wood saw. I was VERY saddened to hear that someone cut the power cord on the saw so I could no longer get things done at this location. I dropped a star b/c someone broke the saw. Ethan gets 5-stars from me. Give Ethan a raise.
Delivery service for refrigator was total mission failure for 2 weeks. I rescheduled once. I could not meet their delivery time. Delivery service then failed to either schedule pick up of old refrigerator or delivery of new one 3 times. Both Lowes (twice) and deliverys management (3 times) would take no action to expedite correction. Bought a riding lawn mower 2 years ago and then told 10 days required for delivery. Ill never buy Lowes item requiring delivery again. Very good chance that I may never shop Lowes again.
I went in to have a key made. The machine where you make your own wasnt working. The help button, in the hardware department, wasnt working. I requested someone be called 6 times before someone showed up. I waited over 20 minutes to get a 1 minute item. It wasnt like the person was waiting on another customer. I walked up and down the rows looking for someone before I requested help the 1st the and the 3rd time.
Employees are wonderful. Parking lot is always hectic, somewhat cramped compared to other locations I frequent. 4 stars just because there was a creepy dude that looked as though he was trying to blend in that kept popping up in the same place as my associates and I.
Got a washer a dryer delivered, they couldnt figure out how to get it into my house, so I ended up moving it it myself and was told to call them back when I was done doing so, nobody could be bothered to answer the phones and was just transferred around until eventually gave up. Not worth the money when anybody else would at least answer the phone and be helpful with the same equipment and prices.
This place is awful. Good selection of products, but the service is the absolute worst. I went in with the hopes of buying both a lawn mower and a grill. My first trip, no one spoke a word to me after I stood around the grills/lawn mowers for over 30 min so I left and got a great Honda lawnmower from Home Depot (Honda not sold at Lowe’s). Came back because I saw they had a lower price on a Weber grill (awful mistake). The same exact thing happened on the second trip, stood around for over half an hour without even as much as a “hello” from a staff member. I went up to customer service to try and get some help there and I was shushed while the lady there answered not one call but two. Don’t waste your time here unless you know exactly what you need and where to find it.
Customer service was hit and miss. First two reps I approached (were not with customers) after waiting 10 minutes were very dismissive and unhelpful. Third (Grahame) was wonderful. Helped me from explaining why the dishwasher I picked was a good choice, all the way to loading it for me.
Extremely poor customer service from management on down from Lowes. At the beginning of August I called to have a storm door installed. Lowes told us to wait 48hrs for the installer to call and schedule with us a measurement date. The 48hrs pass and still have not heard from the installer. We call the store again and they tell us that we are not in the system, mind you, just two days ago I spoke with John in the No Work department to schedule this, very apt department name by the way as no in that department seems to work (Called multiple times and constantly put on hold for over 10min or they are at a meeting or on lunch break.).After getting put back into the system again, they say, wait 48hrs for the installer to call and schedule a measurement. Three days goes by and still no word from the installer, I call the store yet again to follow-up, and they tell me well put your name at the top of the installers list tomorrow morning. Next morning, no call, so I call the store again, finally I get to the manager of the store, Cameron, and explain the situation to him. No apologies or well get right on that from him, instead he says, Well you can call the installer. I say, fine, give me the number Ill keep doing your job. I call the installer myself and get a time setup. Installer comes out does the measure, theyll check back in with the store, and then call to schedule the installation.A week goes by and still no word from installer or Lowes. I call Lowes again, to check status and get put through to No Work, yay! I speak with John again and am told that I have to come in and sign their contract for the installation. I mention, why I wasnt told about coming in earlier to sign in order to speed up the process and am replied with I dont know. I go in sign the contract and ask is there anything else I need to do, they say, we are all set wait three days for installer to call and schedule, and I leave. Once again, no apologies from Lowes or what can we do to make this more convenient for you. The days pass, still no word so I call the installer and Lowes, neither answer so I leave messages. Few days pass and still no word so I call Lowes again, they say, theyll reach out to installer. Still no word after a few days, I finally reach out to Corporate Lowes and explain the situation. They say, theyll reach out to management at the store. Still another week goes by and no word from Lowes or installer. Finally second week in September, I hear from the installer since they had a job drop on them that day and are able to come out and install the door. Over a month from initial point of contact for the door to finally be installed.Overall customer service from both installer and Lowes was of the utmost frustration and complete lack of communication between the two parties. Both Lowes and installer did an absolute terrible job of follow-up and reflects even more poorly upon Lowes since they are ones who reference the contractors they work with. Very poor in taste when the customer has to continuously hound you and follow-up to get a simple job done. Maximum disappointment in Lowes and will not be a returning customer for anything. Will be working with local hardware stores and Home Depot for any projects, hardware or tools etc. Goodbye Lowes!!
One of the things I like about Lowes is their good customer service. One of the ways this shows up is when I ask any employee where something is located. For example, I asked a guy in plumbing where I could find padlocks for outdoor use and he gave me the exact location. I asked a guy in lumber where I might find small pieces of sheet metal and without a blink he told me what aisle they were in. This happens every time I go there and ask someone for help.
The curbside pickup at Lowe’s is broken. The number posted to call just loops and loops with no one picking up. Had to go inside and wait in line to tell them I am outside ready to pickup my order. I challenge a Lowe’s employee or manager to attempt their own pickup and see how it goes....
I bought rocks for 1.04 cent went to pay its 1.28 showed her the pitcure and price she called the manager to override to get the price the manager says 1.28 even though she cleary sees the price, was supposed to come back to adjust she went the entire opposite direction. Ill just shop at menards next time. Not a huge price difference, its just the waY she handled it.
I had an employee (sad I forgot her name) who was just such an exemplary young lady. So kind, helpful, went out of her way to help. Loews please keep hiring wonderful people. Also, there was this guy with a country accent in Gardening who was the sweetest and so polite. Its clear management knows what theyre doing. Keep up the great work!!!
Customer service here is really awful. a lady named margie “helped” (for lack of a better word) my sister and i and could not have been ruder. before we even asked her for help, as she was sorting through papers, said “yes??” in the rudest possible tone. her advice was unhelpful and lacked good customer service. she seemed incredibly disinterested and anyone from a mile away would think she hated her job.
Seems like they have let some employees go. I used to love this location, but now they have maybe 1 regular checkout line open and maybe half of the self scan lines. the lines for both are quite large (especially given it is a Saturday at 3:30).Conveniently, in the self scan line you cannot scan your loyalty card, so if you are a veteran don’t count on your discount. Seems like a large technological oversight on behalf of corporate to me. They want to force everyone into the self scan lanes but you can’t even complete a normal checkout.#ProbablyWontBeBack
Just what I expected...only went to garden center for 3 items. None of said 3 items were in stock. 2 teenagers or young 20-somethings there in that area not interested in helping...or even talking for that matter. Typical big box experience. Know what you need, where to get it and dont expect help and youll be fine.
The store is very organized and everyone inside was incredibly nice. Me and my 4year old son were walking out I told to put the cart in the gated area and the worker who was collecting carts told him thanks for making my job so much harder and talking down to him because the carts didnt match. To a 4 year old trying to be polite and put things away you talk down to him while hes learning and in his words spreading cheer on a holiday. Great store but that experience ruined his day and doesnt wanna come on dad trips to lowes with me just kind of sad
I personally have never had a problem here. This is where I go for anything hardware related. It isnt outstanding or amazing although I will say they have a very diverse and wide selection and a flat parking lot making loading easy. It isnt amazing its just what you would expect, and Ive never had any substantial issues here.
Generally this Lowes has what we need and is reasonably priced. Most days employees are helpful, but theres been a time or two we couldnt find anyone when we needed them, or who we did find wasnt helpful/borderline rude. No where gets it right 100%. 4 stars as theyre on target about 80%.
Lowes is Lowes! Helpful and mostly knowledgable staff, and everything under the sun you would want to find in a hardware store and then some! They do have a design center over by the appliances, if you are considering a major project. Also, they have an good quality outdoor lawn and garden store. I am always comfortable when shopping here, as I know that I can find someone who will steer me in the right direction for DIY projects!
I didnt buy anything today, but I did get some boxes for a school project. I thought Id hit the jackpot when I was told I could take a water heater box, that is until I realized there was no easy way of fitting the box into my car! An employee, Tim (at least thats what his nametag said), came up to me and helped me cut the bottom off the box (since it was stapled and glued together) so Id be able to fold the box down! He was so pleasant and seemed genuinely happy to help. I dont know if anyone who works there will ever see this, but Im so grateful he came to help and didnt act like it was a burden (like some of the other employees I encountered today). Thanks Tim!
Large selection and competitive pricing, but any time I have questions, employees have never been able to answer them. Ive run into this issue at many hardware stores and its frustrating that employees are seemingly untrained in their products, nor are they willing to help look up information online.
A couple things were a little annoying. The c clamp options were not as good as I would have liked. If they see this I hope they consider some more options than only carrying big ones. Anyway, the layout of the store was also not consistent with other ones Ive been to so it took me longer to find things. Im sure some consultant told them that many moons ago but the data eventually catches up...
Location is the only reason I shop here. Before Christmas I was looking for a smaller tree, under 5. Other Lowes locations had theirs weeks before this one. I gave up wanting one by the time they became available for purchase. When you want assistance they are the slowest at responding, or at responding at all. You will hear the same page for help in a specific department over and over for 10-15 minutes.
On weekends they seem a little light on staff in the morning. Be ready to stand in line or try the self check out of you can find it open. Some selections are great and some are not. Worth looking on line first to see if they have what you are looking for first. On a positive note the bathrooms are always clean.
Came for a specific tool from the Lowes website, the employees of this store seemed to break there back not to help. If youre heading to break take off your Lowes apron so I dont bother you. If its not your department, dont walk through it. If you do walk through it, pretend to care if a guest asks you a question
Cynthia Dixon in the paint department was such a help! She was knowledgeable about matching a chip sample my daughter brought in. I was thrilled with the color swatch combinations and her creative ideas. And she showed us tools to use that matched our projects. This may become my new Lowes because of Cynthia Dixon and her excellence in customer service.
Very stumped (way off on terminology too) and went to lowes not exactly knowing what I needed. An employee named John gave me a breakdown of what I needed, techniques for safety, and step by step instructions so I didnt waste money. Super cool goin the extra mile for me.
Okay...went looking for a vent cover and the guy showed me new vents, etc and I told him I know there are vent covers so stop showing me new vents because I didnt need a new one, I needed a cover and I knew they must have some and that I was not going to buy anything else except a cover to block cold or warm air from coming out of the vent.Thats when he finally showed me where the magnetic vent covers were.Just cause Im a female, dont think Im not going to know what Im talking about in a place like that.
Next time, I will get all of my services and products from home depot! Last week 8/6, I purchased a water heater, and Lowes in Reynoldsburg, Ohio was going to send installer 1-2 days, and today is 8/14/2018, and my installed did not show up yet. I did get any calls from Lowes or the installer.
After waiting an hour last night a service desk I walk back to department to see where vanity was they told me they took it up there . Lady at service desk said he didn’t. Another half hour goes by before someone located it. Then went in today to purchase paint at register would not take the price of markdowns and other items. Had to call managers to punch it in. I had a coupon that started today. The guy couldn’t get it to go in. Finally he said the coupon didn’t start until 12th which is today I had to show him the date. He said it went through. It didn’t so he sent me to service desk. Same person from night before said it already be scan she couldn’t do it again I explain to her the guy had scan it but it didn’t take she tried to tell me it did . So another half hour a manager had to override it I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN I have never wrote a review no matter what but this was crazy
I received a gift card for fathers day for Lowes havent been in a while due to Menards being across the street from my house. All I can say is that the selection was very limited for not really needing anything, staff was very friendly and clean store but just couldnt really find anything that jumped off the shelf into my cart..
I love the Garden Dept, They Always have a Huge and Wonderful Selection of Plants,Flowers Everything you Need, The Employees are Always Helpful and Very Nice Thank you, Also what I love is the EASY Access to the garden center and Getting Mulch, Top Soil whatever you need.
Lowes gives a 10% Discount to military personal, I think this is a great gesture of appreciation for our military people. That being said my Dad went into the store and was declined the discount because he only had his drivers license. (His drivers license does have his military information printed on it). Dad shops a lot at Lowes in multiple different locations and always uses his drivers license as his military ID, however this Lowes not only didnt accept it, Manager Becky treated him very rudely in front of other employees and customers because he didnt understand their policy requires the actual military ID. Im not upset because the discount was declined, Im upset because he was treated so rudely he actually said he was embarrassed to go back. I will not shop at this Lowes until they learn to respect our veterans.
Customer service is absolutely terrible. I went there to get something cut. They told me they could do it. Then they said since it wasn’t bought there they couldn’t do it. When I told them I purchased the item there, they said they didn’t have the tools to do it. They just said there was nothing they could do. Awful!!
I have been to many Lowes stores but Im spoiled that this one is in my backyard. Tonights experience with Indoor Home & Garden sales rep, Okeo, confirmed that this Lowes still has the BEST staff around! He advised me that he was Employee of the Month which was not a surprise to us!!! #keepupthegreatwork
Check out staff told me they did not honor the shelf sticker price and that I could pay or put it back. So I left and they looked shocked. I am concerned about how many people dont notice a dollar here or there or just dont mind being a victim of this stores bad staff
I hate that this is the closest hardware store to my house. I literally feel like those Sears commercials where the people cant find help. We went here to see about flooring and the sales man acted like we were wasting his time. Others have no clue about anything. The last time I went I walked out and went elsewhere.
Not a dependable location. Map quest listed them as open till 10 pm and they closed at 9. I showed up at 9:40 pm and they were closed and left me in a jam with a client that needed two gas valves. Will not be back, I hate how large companies have taken over the hardware business in Columbus and are usually filled with uninformed workers in their sections.

2022-04-12I hope the manager of this store sees this because there is a kid named Drew working at the self checkout and he is absolutely wonderful. I was just in with my two young children and having issues with the self checkout. But it’s not him fixing the self checkout that this post is about. It’s about him taking the time to interact with my kids and make them smile. He could have fixed the checkout and gone about his day, instead he let my son help him scan a product and when my daughter asked for a receipt he made sure he printed out a second one. It was the most genuine interaction and as a mother I loved every second of it. Drew thank you much for being so sweet to my kiddos. You’re kindness did not go unnoticed.

2021-10-23I was helped but not annoyed by a younger guy who even gave me an idea that helped alot and then he left me alone. Used self checkout and lowes self check isnt glitchy like kroger. They dont have alot of clearance or cleaning supplies like other lowes

2022-04-11Always find what I need. But I have to admit that this was the first time that at check out. I met Krista she was very pleasant and greeted me and my grandson with a smile. If there is any way that she could be told how appreciative customers like myself are of a happy attitude. She deserves it

2022-06-12I have spent over four hours on hold to try and get a damaged refrigerator replaced, but I’ve gotten the run around as to who is responsible for helping me. It’s been two weeks and no solution has been reached. I’ve tried stopping in the store twice for any assistance and all they’ve provided were phone numbers I could try calling instead, even though I bought from that store. At this rate, I’m probably better off returning the refrigerator and buying from somewhere else.

2022-03-23Sales agent comes to my home to quote a new roof. He had an attitude about Lowes doing more roofs than everyone else. Even before he says Hello, he gives me the highest price of 4 bids. Then, he told me that the advertised 5 % off everything for qualified buyers only applied by buying items in the store, which isnt true. I figured that the $500 that I would get back on a $10,000 spend would directly affect his commission. So, I went with HIGHMARK, a small central Ohio roofing company, and had a fantastic experience. Their subcontract crew did a complete tear-off and re-tile complete with cricket, replaced chimney flange on the 4-level split house and amazing thorough clean-up. The entire job was completed in just 6 hours!

2022-05-15Great selection of flowers & vegetables. The young man working the register was great. He was the only one working, the line was very long. He was working at a quick pace, smiling & professional. His name was Anshi (spelling ??). Thank you for your exceptional service.

2022-02-26I went for 2 things, but only found one. The shop stool I wanted wasn’t in the aisle that the app said should be in.I wasn’t able to find any cordless screwdrivers.I wandered around for a bit and no one offered any assistance. The lady at the self check did turn off the anti theft device, that was a nice end.

2022-05-21Very disappointed in Lowes the computer system for credit and debt cards was down and instead of letting customers know they let people stand in line for 30+mins just to get to the cashier for them to then tell you cash only. Management and supervisor should have done better

2022-04-19Deb at paint counter was not friendly or helpful. She refused to ask for a manager on polite request. The store doesn’t price match stores 5 miles away on anything. They just make up prices as they go.
