Hey guys, DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION; If you are Hispanic or a person of color. Once you get in there all the workers will start to wave and alert each other and then, they will start following you. Some of them have even the audacity to come to you and ask you if you need help one after one. (It is not that they want to help you, it is more to tell you we are watching you). It happened often and I have even tested this by sending someone else to go there and I followed him. The same scenario happened. I took my business to Homedepot, at least there you won’t feel like a criminal.
Customer service is awful! We bought a fridge on the 5 th, scheduled a delivery on the 27th. Supposed to deliver between 4 and 8 pm. No one calls. We wait and wait and wait. I called them. Got disconnected. called back 4 times! Find out we are LAST on the delivery list and they are running late! Now the estimated time is 8:30pm!! Dont know when they will show up for sure. Not at all happy with Lowes right now. And I have company coming over tomorrow and my kitchen is a mess!!!!update: they finally delivered at 9 pm! and scratched up my new fridge!
There was no one around the store to help locate items. Was trying to find price on new French style doors with blinds inside and patio doors of same type. Found display was interested in but they had no prices and no bar codes to even scan. Once a nice order gentleman from tool area tried to help. Day before had worse experience trying to find out how soon could get a new side in range ended up going to best by and bought it.Today at the register there was a long line while the cashier was doing a return instead of being done at service desk. Poor customer service.
I love lowes when they are having a sale! I think they have a much better, bigger, and more variety outdoor/garden than HD in Marysville, although usually the opposite was true in other cities Ive lived in. They may have won me over, but well see on my next big project.
Be careful using their install services. They use 3rd parties and those 3rd parties dont show up on time or call. Currently waiting 2 hours PAST my time window (2-6pm) for my dishwasher install. Not a single phone call, and now conveniently everyone has gone home for the day. Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. My husband took the day off work to wait for them and they no show. Lowes needs to check their 3rd party vendors before they lose customers over it.
Rude staff. The associate when checking out clearly didn’t want to be there and didn’t want to help me. She didn’t say a single word to me (no hello or hi) except to curse and complain that she couldn’t find the barcode on my items. I spent over $100 at the store and she didn’t even have the courtesy to say “thank you.” I will not be purchasing anything from this store again.
Not the greatest experience. Decided to get a couple patio chairs. Paid but had to go back to get them. I needed my suv. Went to customer service desk when I returned. The associate was prompt & friendly but then it took 20 minutes for someone to answer her call to get my box. They seemed under staffed. Not a pleasant experience, hence the 2 star. Typical experience here is good, not this time.
The workers in their really dont care to help you I had to return paint tonight and the person at the return desk her name was Alexis didnt ask if it was a return or exchange with that being said the 200.00dollar project that was for a customer I cant do because she didnt bother to ask if the paint was exchange or return so I just lost 200.00 because I have to wait 7 to 14days for it to go back on my card I lost that customer of mine I WILL NOT go back to the Marysville Ohio Lowes or any lowes
Incorrect inventory. Bought items but they didnt have enough. Waited a week, called in and verified that they were back in stock. When I got to the store there were still none. Best they could do was order for themselves and the make me repeat the same ineffective process.Update: 2 weeks and 6 phone calls later. Ive been told that the parts shipped, were received, couldnt be found, then that they hadnt shipped, that they would ship and be there the next day, then that they hadnt shipped, then that they couldnt be shipped and that I had to order on-line. Needless to say, this store is in disarray.
My daughter and I were looking for curtain rods. I am no expert in this area, so I was very unsure about what to expect. We were pleased that we found the lengths we needed. However, one window measurement is quite long, and there was only one choice in that length. Its a nice curtain rod, but it would have been nice to have more options. Overall, however, our shopping experience was pleasant.
I placed 2 orders, one online and one ship to store. The online order was supposed to be truck delivered on July 24 and I paid 89.00 for the truck delivery. I have yet to receive the order 7 days later than promised with no phone calls to let me know it would be late. I reached out to the store for updates and the first 3 employees didnt offer any information except there was a PO outstanding. I went to the store and finally got a helpful employee who stated it would arrive on the 30th. Of course, it hasnt arrived. Lets just see how much longer that one takes without a phone call to confirm when its going to arrive. Second order was an in store order. The employee, Josh, who helped me was absolutely fantastic and deserves 10 stars, jumped through hoops to find what I wanted at another location and have it shipped to the Marysville store to arrive on that Thursday. When I called the store the first time to see if it had arrived, all the clerk said was have you received an email confirmation? There was no effort to verify that it arrived. I called again on Friday.. They had no idea where it was. I called again Saturday and of course, they had no idea. Not one employee offered to check the stock area. I called again on Sunday and thankfully I was transferred to Josh who helped with the original order. And guess what... he actually checked the back and it had arrived on Thursday as promised. Now, I dont understand why no one thought to check the back on my first few calls. Terrible customer service from the others that answered the phone. Even the manager didnt check. That should have been the first thought when they couldnt figure it out. Also, if you are going to have people working with the public, they should be courteous. One of the cashiers should not be working in the public eye. Every encounter Ive had with her has been negative. She doesnt ask if I have a mylowes account and when Ive told her that I do it , it always seems too late even though she is still scanning the items. Never a hello or thank you from her unless I say it first. Employees should be coached on their reactions in working with the public. If they cant adhere to common courtesy, maybe they need to work in the stock room out of public eye.
HORRIBLE!! Dont get any kind of installation deal with Lowes. THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL! It took 2 months for them to get me an appoinment for installation and when they finally went to my house to install they didnt have the right material, so they couldnt get it done, then i called lowes to see when i could get the right material and no one was willing to help. THE SUPERVISOR FROM THE FLOORING DEPARTMENT WAS UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE! I honessly think he should get fired! He hung up on me because he didnt want to deal with it. Well it has been 4 months since i got my floor material and im still waiting to get the right material and an appoinment for installation.
Very friendly staff! They were happy to help me find the 4x8 sheeting I needed for my outdoor pig pen. They even cut it to length for me. Very easy to find what I needed, check out was very fast and friendly also. Seemed to be a little slower than the Home Depot near by which is a plus for me. Will be back for all my home improvement needs.
Went in today, 8/3/2020 in the afternoon at their appliances department. Terrible services. The girl on shift was rude and mean. I was going to make a $2400.00 purchase and because of her attitute I walked out. Not my lost. If this location keeps hiring such low staff it will be out of service soon.
Service in the Marysville store is great. Ordered a washer and dryer to be delivered. They loaded them separately on different trucks. So we waited for the next truck to deliver and assemble the stack and hookup everything but the washer to the power. We need to run a new line. They claimed the dryer hose wouldn’t reach which it does. They also didn’t balance the washer. Now my unit is leaning to one side. We’re calling in the morning to see if they will comeback and fix the install. Not good delivery experience. My 14 year old showed us that the hose reached. Smh.
Completely terrible service. Have purchased 2 appliances there this year due to lack of other choices. First order was told night before delivery that they couldnt find the item when it was in stock earlier that day so they canceled delivery and couldnt give a new date. Truck showed up next day unannounced. Store staff was absolutely no help and demonstrated poor customer service. Second delivery did not show, went to store canceled item and went elsewhere, staff did nothing to try to help. Totally worthless service.
Customer service is terrible. I was there over two hours trying to pick up shelves that were ordered online. Employees are lazy and wont even ask if you need help. There was one jewel amount them. A nice lady finally helped me when noone else would. To her I say thank you.
The worst shopping experience Ive had at a store in a long time. Over 16 hours spent trying to fix online order issues and they are still not fixed. The whole store does not take ownership of the issue Update 2 weeks later, all issues still not resolved, delivery service did deliver within delivery windows.
Ordered a refrigerator on May 25, 2020 was told it would not be delivered until July 1st, ok accepted that. I get a call June 25th stating there is a problem the warehouse won’t have the refrigerator until July 10th will deliver on July 11th, not happy but accept it. Final straw, I get a call on July 1st stating they have cancelled my order and no refrigerator until late September! UNACCEPTABLE, asked if I wanted a different one so I said same fridge in a different color? They offer a smaller refrigerator in a color I didn’t choose then tell me the price will be the same as the original refrigerator. Ended up canceling the order completely and will not order from Lowe’s again! Way to treat your customers, will go to Home Depot!
I live in Delaware and have an active LAR account . I always enjoy the friendly staff and the rapid service at all the store departments.John and Dave at the pro desk are just cool people and want to help. I have respect and love to all the other departments and the managers. Peace ✌️
Been battling with them for two weeks to get a back door installed so I can sell my home. Couldnt get answers from anyone about why my door measurements werent put into the system after being told it would take less than 24 hours, was told initially it would take a week to install, when they finally got my door measurements in (after charging me for the wrong door and installation, which to their credit they did refund me once they figured out it was wrong) the store manager told me if I purchased right then and now my door would be installed the following Thursday.Well its now Thursday and Im still calling asking where my door is. Store Manager either had no clue what he was talking about, or lied to get a sale. If I cant get it installed by tomorrow, Im going for a refund and just going somewhere else, either way this is the last time Im giving lowes a dime.
I had some issues ordering a basic washer/dryer set from my local Lowe’s - ordered online, received a voicemail from them stating that they didn’t have the dryer in stock despite the website stating it was, and that they were cancelling the order. I went into the store next day to discuss my options, and they recommended I just order the dryer from Marysville, which was the next closest location. I called Marysville, confirmed they had the dryer in stock, and ordered it on a Sunday.Marysville had the dryer delivered on Monday, literally the next day. Right after the dryer was delivered, I got another call from my local Lowe’s stating that they also did not have the washer in stock, as the only one there had been sold prior to my order. I asked them to cancel the order, and just ordered the washer and hookups from Marysville as well.The washer was delivered today (Thursday), and they did an excellent, quick job installing the washer and hooking up the washer/dryer in what is a very tiny laundry room. They even switched the washer/dryer around so that (whereas the dryer had been on the left) the dryer would be on the right so it would be easier to switch laundry. On their way out, they even were so kind as to quickly back a loose screw out of my doorframe and drive it back in so that the door hinge stayed securely attached.All in all, very prompt, professional, and friendly people to work with. Even with being 25 miles away from their store, they had both our washer and dryer delivered and installed in a timely manner.
Almost as bad as their competitor. Waited for 20 minutes on help and when said help arrived they had to call for someone else..waited another 10 minutes...still had no idea what i was looking for(was looking for a concrete grinding wheel). Ended up wondering the aisles until I found it myself...maybe train people a bit better. They couldnt even point me in the right direction
This location has some of the most uneducated staff Ive ever dealt with.Last time I was in we were trying to buy 50 bags of standard Scotts black shredded mulch. The lady at the desk had no clue how to ring it up and was unwilling to help. We ended up heading over to home Depot where we got all the help we needed
Good service at the store but we were told we would get a call the night before so we knew when to expect delivery. When we called the store the night before, we were told we wouldn’t know until the day of. They would call us 30 minutes before. Very inconvenient to spend our weekend sitting around waiting for call. You should be able to give people a delivery window. Not good customer service!
I prepaid for a six foot long piece of white privacy fence that they had to special-order for me . They call me to come get it and then they cant find it. They called me the following week said it was in for me to come get it, I get there and somebody sold that one . third time and mind you Ive already paid for this, they finally have it, so it took me a whole month to get one piece of fence. AND I also ordered a porch swing it was in within a week but once I hung it on my porch my 12 year old daughter and I sat on it( together we weigh 220 , the swing said it could hold 400 pounds ) the chain broke on one side and we fell to the porch floor and the swing took off her skin on the back part of her calf and was severely bruised. I went back into Lowes and told them that this happened they took pictures of my daughters leg and Ive never heard from them again nothing was ever done they did not fix my swing , give me a new chain , say they were sorry, nothing !!! I hate Lowes and will never go back there and I tell all my friends and anyone else who will listen. LOWES SUCKS
Went to pick up some supplies needed to repair my sliding glass door. The website said they had what I needed in stock. That was incorrect, they had none. But the customer service was awesome. They called other stores and had them hold back what I needed until I got there.
My wife went to pick up a pre-order. Shilo had some employees put it in the back of the pick up. She brought it home. I seen her and the little one pull up. I went out and got it out of the back of the truck and started working on the project. I had left the tailgate down. My wife got out of the truck and looked in the bed of it, and thought she lost the microwave out the back of the truck. Lol she didnt even come inside. She headed back to Lowes with a little in tow. Explained to Shilo, and Shilo got her another one. By the time she got home I had the 1st microwave in. I took the 2nd microwave back to shilo, and thanked her. Return of the microwave.
One. Two. Three. Four. Five. Five employees passed me by without making eye contact or stopping to ask if I needed assistance. At one point, I stood in the middle of a main aisle simply waiting for someone - anyone - to notice me. No one ever did. There were only two or three other customers in the entire stire. Ultimately, I never did find what I needed, and I left empty handed. I will say, however, that the cashier I passed on the way out was very nice, and told me to have a nice day. By that time, though, it was too late.
I am so impressed with the service I received from Jim in the lawn tractor and outdoor/indoor department. Jim always takes his time with the customer. He is extremely knowledgeable about the products in his area, and will offer his recommendation if you ask. Lawn tractors, snow blowers, weed eaters, you name it, he knows his products. I tip my hat to Jim, a veteran, a gentleman, and one heckuva nice guy!
Do not go to Lowes to rent a carpet shampoo cleaner , save yourself the money and time and go buy one yourself. They charge you 50 to rent and then a 20 dollar charge if you dont clean the machine. I didnt know that included cleaning the bottom of the machine, I was not told this before renting. Not exactly happy to hear it otherwise I would have done it before hand, wasnt about to go all the way home just to clean it so I could save 20 bucks, they can deal with it now.
The same selection as all Lowes stores. Would be a higher rating except for a couple of issues.1. Return desk ALWAYS CLOSED2. No self checkout (the only Lowes Ive ever been to without3. Two registers open @ max all the time.. one of which is handling returns because of issue number 14. If you park close to the entrance you will be walking a bit further on the way back to your car due to the entrance and the straight out to the lot exit (not the usual big glass cart corral entrance with several different exit options)It is a clean store and would be a 4 star if not for those few easily fixable issues
It would be better if one of the ladies there didnt excessively flirt with my husband right in front of me and our children. He even mentioned that my wife is wanting to make.... so she knew that we were married. Then when I mentioned that I think we got it she wouldnt leave us be and just kept flirting.
Always find what I want always in the correct place the employees are always very polite and they ask you if you need help finding what you are looking for I shop the Marysville store very regularly and I have no complaints its good to know that the management has stressed just how important Customer service really is thanks for asking me to post a review
Had my lawnmower repaired through Lowes. After three weeks of no response from them I called to find it was there. When I attempted to check out they could not find a receipt in the system. Over an hour later they finally completed the checkout only to discover the price was double what I was told only a few hours earlier and well above the authorized repair amount.
Went there this morning to purchase dishwasher...Had all information, ask associate for help was told wait a moment she walked to front of store and didnt come back,found another associate who waited on us.Had what we wanted in stock but not on display...would not open the box to let us see the front of the appliance...Said it store policy.Let without purchasing.. Went to Costco purchased less
Had a new front entry door and two windows installed by lowes in Marysville ohio this past memorial day. one window came with a bent screen. it is a standard size window, i just received my replacement screen today. the new front door leaks water inside everytime it rains. the contractor was here again today smoking his cigarettes and swearing and still did not fix the leaking door, supposedly he is coming back again to try some other repair. this project was paid in full on may 2, now it is july26 and i still have a new leaking front door! my old door did not leak, this was supposed to be an upgrade! almost 3 months now, and to think i hired lowes to take the stress off of me trying to do it myself and make it quick and easy. i just hope my floor or threshold doesnt rot now! i will never give lowes another dime of my money
As a 100%DAV, Marysville took care of me completely. MacKenzie pushed my bascart and found everything I was looking for. (took about 10 yrs to keep up, but she was GREAT! Tonya & Daschel in lawn & garden went above & beyond to pick the BEST brambles & load 12 bags of red cypress mulch. (They even thanked me for the classic rock I blast. Maybe rap & hip hop are no longer part of their lives!) If Lowes doesnt REWARD ALL three of them, SOMEONE else will. ROCK ON my three FRIENDS, ROCK ON!!

2022-04-14Had part of what I wanted in store, though they had more inventory than what showed online. Could not locate another item in its assigned location and I couldnt locate any associates to inquire with. Will give them another try if in the area but will stick to my local Lowes if possible in the future.

2022-06-19Looked up on line fir product wanted to purchase. Aile 22 it said. So went to aile 23. Not to be found.so had to track down employee to ask. Oh I think aisle 23 and it might be covered up. Yes that is where I found it. Disappointed.

2022-02-21Ordered a bathroom vanity on Lowes.com. When we brought it home and got it unpacked for install noticed a $2,000 vanity was damaged and already had paint completely chipped off in multiple places!! I hope they will make this right.

2022-04-26Lowes took away most military discounts...no lumber, appliances, electrical wire. Times are tough for many folks. Hate to see this happen during difficult times.
