Lately Lowes has decided that it is sufficient to rely entirely on self-checkout rather than actually having live cashiers staffed. Three of my recent visits have been terrible because of this. The self-checkout (a terrible idea for a hardware store anyway) does not allow you to enter multiples of an item or look up an item by part number, meaning any hardware or lumber purchase will require the overworked self-checkout employee to enter you item by hand. Also, at least two of the four self checkout kiosks are always out of order. After seeing how miserable the lone employee is trying to manage this situation, I dont think I can support Lowes any longer.
I came in looking for a grass disperser for a push mower. They have riding lawn mowers, push mowers, oil, blades and a section of overpriced gloves but no grass disperser. An employer suggested I order one online to have shipped to the store for me to pick up. If I place an order online then its coming to my house. Ill come back when I need gloves.
I recommend going elsewhere. When trying to buy a toolbox last week, the kind person at the register said they were not permitted to cash out a toolbox even through it had a price tag/ barcode to scan and that I would have to see someone in the tool department. Well nobody was working the tool department and when I went back to the register the kind lady said this happens all the time and I would just have to comeback another time when someone was working the tool department to purchase the box. Today I needed to buy a hot water heater but needed a price on a unit that I wrote the item number down on so I could make an informed decision on which unit to buy. I took item number that to the register/checkout area and the only thing that was open was self checkout. I then proceeded to customer service but I was informed that they can only assist with returns and not purchases. I later found out there was a person available to cash people out in self checkout but they were not equipped to lookup pricing and they were only there to assist people with the self checkout.
Has all your standard expectations of a Lowes. Lumber is always a sad game of picking through many pieces to get a good quality board. Employees are always helpful and easily found. Registers are usually understaffed. I feel if I have to check myself out then give me a discount or pay me?
Our fridge stopped working a week ago and I ordered a new one from Lowes. They told me it would be delivered today. They did not give me any time frame of when they would be delivering so my sister sat here waiting on it all day while I was at work. Eventually she had to go pick up her kids. Right after she left I got a text message saying they would be here in 10 minutes. Luckily I was on the way home.I pulled in at the same time as the truck. The driver handed me a hose and went to leave. I asked him where is the fridge and he said he did not have it. I called the store and they told me it had been canceled. No one ever called or emailed me to let me know. Then they told me they would try to find me one and get me a discount. After waiting a couple hours they called me back and told me they MIGHT have one in a couple days. They refused to talk about the discount they offered me and told me I would have to talk about it when I came to get the fridge. Now I am waiting 5 -7 business days to get my $1300.00 back and in the meantime I have to buy a new fridge. This is not the first issue I have had with Lowes. I have had nothing but issues with them. They are terrible.
As part of a full bathroom renovation, I ordered a Delta tub filler online from Lowe’s on 5/10/21 which showed an expected arrival date of 5/25/21. The rough in valve is separate so I had the plumber install it while waiting for the filler. The delivery date was later updated to mid-June. By the end of June I went into a Lowe’s to check on the order. They showed it was supposed to be sent by mid- June and said they’d look into it and let me know. Two days later I received an email from Lowe’s informing me that they cancelled my order. After 2 months of telling me it was coming they cancelled it. I’m now trying to find another supplier to provide the filler but since I already installed the Delta rough in my options are limited not to mention the additional delays I’ll have in trying to get one. The best part is that Lowe’s is still showing the tub filler on their website with an expected delivery date in 16 days. Lowe’s shouldn’t take orders for products they can’t deliver.
Recently ordered a refrigerator and it was supposed to be delivered yesterday, they even sent a text saying it would be delivered in 10 minutes. They show up in a huge truck, get out and hand me a cord. I asked where the refrigerator was and the guy acted like he had no idea what I was talking about. So we call Lowe’s, they say the order was cancelled due to them not having one. They cancelled it at 1 pm the day it was supposed to be delivered( 5 days after ordering). Never bothered to call, text, or email that it was cancelled. Now they say it will take 5-7 business days to even return the money so we can go elsewhere to get one! I highly do not recommend!
Went there to try to order parts for the Honda mower that I bought from them. Couldnt find anyone in the Lawn & Garden department. So I went to the Customer Service counter to inquire about ordering and they told me that they dont order parts. When I showed them that the owners manual stated that I could order the parts from my Honda dealer (Loews) they looked confused and asked for my name and number so that they could get back to me. They NEVER called me so I took my business elsewhere. Ill NEVER go back.
Looking at sheds. The sign inside one of the sheds gives 3 ways to find out information. One way is to go to the customer service desk. She didnt know anything about them. She wanted us to talk to the manager who was taking forever with another customer. She had us go to the Pro Desk and talk to Todd. Thank goodness he knew all about the sheds and got us set up with someone to come out and look at the site and we can order it from him. Its always a cluster at Lowes.
Over the past several years, Lowes has become my go-to home improvement store. The friendly, knowledgeable staff not only directs me to where the items Im looking for are located, I can get quality information and guidance on my current project. When I built in my basement several years ago, Ron in appliances helped to design the wetbar we installed and we continue to get compliments on how great it looks. Yep, Lowes has earned my business and my respect.
Chronically understaffed. Customer experience varies wildly depending on whether you interact with a good employee or a bad one. Either way, expect to spend 45 minutes or more for even the quickest errand, as even if you find what you want immediately and then head straight to the self-service checkout, there will likely be technical issues with nobody to help, long lines for the four working kiosks, etc. Heaven help you if you need to go to an actual cashier. If youre lucky there will be one. Ive never had so much trouble giving someone my money.Ive made returns a few times and typically the woman working the customer service desk is highly competent and polite, but harried and severely overworked. The last return I made took 40 minutes, and when I finally got to give her my receipt and the items she literally had a phone in each hand, and was calling someone over the radio at the same time. Frankly I was impressed, but annoyed at Lowes management for allowing a situation like that to exist. Id happily pay one percent more on everything at Lowes if it would mean having more staff on hand to work checkout, customer service, and help load. When I picked up a water heater here I had to wait 45 minutes at customer service before someone was available to help me load it into my car. They said I wasnt allowed to go behind the counter to get it myself. Eventually they talked a kid into clocking back in after a double shift (he was waiting for his ride, sitting next to me the whole time) to load my order. This is a pretty normal experience at Lowes Heath.
The employees are so rude and unhelpful. Went in to buy new kitchen appliances and the lady gave a snappy response. Thats fine. Big sandy was glad to sell me a suite. Also waited 6 months for a door no one even called to say it had come in. Husband went to pick it up and they acted like he was a major inconvenience. Overall just dissatisfied.
Life time hassle free warranty was not worth the paper it was printed on!You have to have the original recipe and contact Kobalt directly and customer service said they may sent a replacement or a lowes credit but since they changed the model(color is now blue) it might not be covered anymore. The store was easy to work with on the issue After 3 calls to kobalt in their parking lot
I needed help loading 5 bags of rocks in my truck and the guy the called to help me in the garden area refused to help unless I pulled up 15 ft towards him. I said it would block traffic and would not be safe and he said he was to busy to walk to my truck and help. I was parked in the first spot right in front of him less then 15ft away. So I decided to load it myself as he watched the whole time! To busy to help but had time to watch me do all the work! Thank you Lowes for the great customer service!😡
Dog and pony show today. Everyone hidden or acting like they were busy with boss walking around not much help. Had a employee from the group ask if i needed help . I said yes im looking for a flat cart to put some cabinets on she giggled and walked away.. get a push cart befor you go in they are all hidden on the east side of the building..A little of funny but annoying
Dont ask for help or youll discover that you know more about Lowes than the employees that work there, seriously, but if they have their phone theyll look it up for you and probably send you to a wrong aisle for something completely different. All part of the sales tactic Im sure. Lol
I went Black Friday evening, but things had pretty much calmed down. There were sanitizing stations and someone making sure all customers were wearing face covering and following COVID guidelines. We were looking for a washer/dryer combo, and we had a lovely employee named Shelby who was super patient and answered all our questions about purchasing a new set. She was very kind and helpful, and helped us with our first washer and dryer purchase! Very nice staff overall and the store was clean, although a bit cluttered as they were restocking the shelves of the morning rush.
Worst customer service ever! Calling to check on the status of an order that was supposed to be delivered today and was sent to reoccurring transfers for over 20 minutes! Hung up and called the store back and the customer service person picked up the phone and transferred again without speaking to me. I will NEVER order delivery from this store again!
Bought a washer, and dryer. The dryer shows up broken. They act like its no big deal to just take another day off work to wait for a replacement. I was transfered to 5 different people, who each figured out a way to make it not their problem. Lowes must give their employees unlimited sick days. In the real world we lose money when we take off work.
My recent shopping experience at Lowes wasnt too bad. Ive gone to this Lowes many times for different projects around the house. This past visit I thought I was going to have some trouble. I had a few items to return and no receipt. It went very smooth though. All I had to do was swipe the card I used to purchase the items and I was good to go.THE ONLY NEGATIVE - it can be hard to get some assistance when shopping. Youll see a million employees but most of the time they will never stop and ask if you need help... Or as you walk towards them, they quickly go the other way, as if theyre trying to avoid helping anyone. If you finally do get someone, its a roll of the dice if they are actually knowledgeable of what it is your looking for. Which I sort of expect anyways, at least from a place like Lowes.
Recent frustrating installation process... I want to be clear that at the local store level everything was handled properly but once my project was handed off to the regional installation coordinator, communication and the process went downhill! I signed the contract in February. There was a shortage of materials due to COVID related issues (Not Lowe’s fault). I was finally given an installation date by the regional project manager after I called multiple times because she had indicated a few weeks prior that she had a shipping number from the manufacturer but then later told me it was still on backorder. When the local store called to make arrangements for delivery they stated they only had gravel and cement to deliver. I told them that they had an installation team coming the next day and all of the materials would be needed. The delivery department called to get permission to release the other materials that were sitting on the dock prior to the scheduled date which was 2 weeks out. (Incidentally when they delivered my materials the delivery driver made that statement that my product had been sitting in the store for a couple of weeks. My project manager indicated they were still on order.)My contract states that Lowe’s would deliver, install, and clean up the worksite. After finally receiving the materials the installation went great. But now, a month after completion, I’m waiting on Lowe’s to pick up the excessive amount of material not needed for the project. I was given a pick up date by the regional project manager and Lowe’s never showed up or called - they did call on another date to state they were delivering more materials (not needed because I already have an excessive amount) but had no orders for a pick up. I’ve left messages for the project manager and received no reply. I’ve emailed corporate customer service - no reply.I have 2 stars because the local people have been great. 5 stars to Heath Ohio Lowe’s! Zero stars to the installation department project manager!
When my husband and I first start dating, and it was Christmas the holiday season. At that time my favorite store was Lowes! I was faithful about using Lowes for all of my remodeling supplies. the fact that I did I know where everything was and I was comfortable. I could go in there, I even knew employees by name. At the time we were dating and we werent too far into it. He was asked me about a Christmas gift. The most comfortable/neutral thing I could tell him, was to get me a gift card from Lowes. What I was doing I was on a mission! He asked me what I had wanted and I said a gift card from Lowes he looked at me sideways. LOL I was the one that was mechanically inclined, sadly my husband has since passed at Lowes also created a sweet memory for me thank you.
This store is severely understaffed. We waited 45 mins to get a single item taken down for us from up top in the garden center no exaggeration. There was one girl on register and at least 15 people in line to check out. This is not fair to the customers nor the poor employees. Ridiculous as we found the same items at walmart within 10 mins.
I was here purchasing a hot water tank (3 months ago)I had done an in store credit the manager was not so helpful as I was explaining how lancaster lowes does their in store. The manager told me to go to Lancaster Lowes. So guess what I took my business to Lancaster Lowes! Youd think being in a pandemic and the way the economy is financially youd think your company would want business. You have employees who dont know nothing except when they get their pay checks.(Zero stars for the above experience)4/29/21 wanted to addI was at Lowes today. This was the first time in years Lowes had employees who were helpful, knowledgeable and friendlyTammy, knew exactly where everything wasShe helped me find the items I neededIt was less stressful. Lowes look at your schedule and keep those employees staffed as much as you can.Thank you, TammyYou dont understand how much I appreciated your help. I was almost ready to walk out.Thank you again
This is the most worthless Lowe’s. My past 5 trips there I have walked out completely empty handed. I will walk around looking for help, finally find a employee and they will clearly see me and try to walk away. Glass cutting equipment is so run down it doesn’t even work. The hardware bins have been empty for three YEARS. Last time I spoke to a employee about it and he even admitted they don’t reorder anything like they should because “it’s too big of a pain with their computer system” seriously I have spent thousands at this store over the past few years and now I am over waisting my time going there. You lost a very loyal customer.
The return line and the pickup line is the same. Only one girl was working at customer service. They need additional staff to help at Customer service. People were getting angry at the poor cashier. She was doing the best she could. So, it took a while for our pickup.Again, the girl did her best... It just needs to be a better system.
Today I went to buy an adapter for my kitchen faucet, I asked the associate Dave (who was responsible for that department) for help for a minute. This guy rolled his eyes and said yeah in a minute, he helped someone else went to the next isle and helped two people there. At this point Im mad, I asked another associate to help she said it was his department, I expressed my aggravation with him. She said no sorry that will annoy him, I walked away found another associate, she helped me with no problem. It took her less than two minutes to find what size I needed and I was done. The only reason I go there it is close to my home, they support and employ veterans. But when it comes to helping a woman in her fifties it is impossible to have a younger man help, he helped three men and ignored me. I will go to home Depot if this is how some of the employees are going to treat people. And we buy from there often. Thanks Dave for not helping me.
Truck delivery experience was horrible. They use an external company and Lowes pretty much washes their hands of your order once its handed over to them. They wont help you find your order if its lost, theyll gladly give you phone numbers so you can track it down. Received a call and got email that materials would be delivered on April 23rd. Made sure to be home all day between 8am and 8pm since they wont give you a delivery window. Order never showed up. Called the Heath Lowes and they struggle to figure out what happened to the order. After many many phone calls (which Lowes should have been doing for me) I finally got someone who found my order. It was never loaded on to the truck. They couldnt deliver it the next day because their trucks were already fully scheduled so I got bumped out to April 29th. So pretty much the delivery company guesses at how much can fit on a truck and just ignores the people whos materials didnt fit. If they want their materials, theyll call us is their attitude.
Lowes in Heath, OH has the slowest curbside pickup of ANY place that offers curbside pickup. Im sitting so far for 15 minutes, Im the only curbside customer and the parking lot is nearly empty. I guess Im going in to pickup. Last time I shop at Lowes. This is not an isolated incident, this happens everytime here at Lowes. I had to go into the store for customer pickup, and had to wait another 15 minutes (35 minutes total) because no one was available to get the item down from the top of the rack......even though I got a notification that my order is ready for pickup. This store is apparently way understaffed to take care of customers, HOME DEPOT will now be my store no longer will I use Lowes.
Horrible! Horrible! Horrible!I will never return to this store. All the employees seemed irritated to help us, nothing was stocked on the shelves. We went to buy a new breaker box n wire, the lady who came over to cut the wire literally passed the kind we needed 2x and then to proceed to tell us they didnt have it, just because I think she didnt want to do her job. then we pointed out the right kind n she said well we dont have the 20ft u need. Like r u serious? Online it said they had plenty in stock, she just didnt want to restock it. We left r cart that had at least $500 worth of supplies in it. We lost 2 hours messin with that place. Im amazed that store ever has a happy customer. They need a whole new crew.
Went there looking for a picnic table kit. Told they had none. Checked online and they claim one in stock at Heath location. Call back to confirm. After waiting and getting cut off I get thru to lumber. Fellow says they are in Lawn and Garden already assembled. Give up trying to get them on the phone. Go back to Lowes. At Lawn and Garden they tell me they are all assembled and at other end of store by the lumber. You guessed it! Lumber employees tell me to go to Lawn and Garden. Explain I was there. They told me to come to lumber dept. Guy at Lumber dept says they dont have them and to go back to Lawn and Garden. Simple customer service expectations would include the 2 different departments communicating at some point. Nope. Just says they are sold out. I explained that the online inventory says they have stock. Doesnt both to look. Walks away. Try some training for the sake of your clientele...
Unfortunately this store has horrible customer service and has been going downhill for years. I can never get customer service in store and when I call, I get transferred and then hung up on. Im willing to travel across town to Home Depot, just because of their excellent customer service. I hope things can change soon for this store. Management doesnt seen to care much either.
Tried the new hand breaded chicken sandwich today was all excited got my sandwich at 5 after 11 in the morning and it was either leftover from last night or done before they started serving lunch cuz it was cold and it was so overcooked thats only the center of the Patty that was thick was edible the edges all around the outside were like leather almost $5 for a sandwich that I threw three quarters of away
The store is understaffed, and the staff is poorly trained. The online order desk is not staffed. Ringing the bell brings no assistance. I’ve had to return multiple times to pick up an online order. When I finally found someone to help me, the order was not ready, and no one was available to pull it. I just moved to the area after being a Lowe’s customer for years. I’ve never had an issue like this at other locations. I will say that the young staffers who finally helped me were very pleasant and apologetic. This is obviously a management issue. I’ll probably go back to shopping one of the locations that is managed well or turn to competitors. There is zero excuse for this mismanagement.
Today I did not have a very good experience. I was looking for vent pipe and parts and could not find themes they had been moved. When I found someone to help me, I was told that it showed on his phone that there were 33 of them in stock, his suggestion was to buy a tool and make my own parts. Needless to say I wasnt very happy.
If they had employees that actually worked in their department i.e. paint department it would be a much better store. Pushing the assistance button is a joke cause no one comes. You have to go to customer service to page an employee if you want help. The cashiers and customer service workers are pleasant and helpful just not the departments.
The staff were nice and helpful. I think we talked to one of the higher up managers and he tried to make small talk but didnt know too much about tools. The other worker found us a great dicsount for razer blades so was grateful for that but their selection for makers of tools is a little bad. They dont have Midwest sheet metal tools and was bummed about it. Found most of everything else we needed and was close in price to home depot.
Lowes is pretty much the same everywhere. You will have employees who are really helpful and unfortunately a lot who are not helpful. This Lowes is no different. Also they start closing 30 minutes before closing time. Tonight I had a load of fence post and an employee followed us out and I thought he would help me (I am over 60) load them in my truck. He stood there and watched and waited so he could take the cart inside before closing.
Once again, people not wearing masks. No one available to help me load a 4x8 sheet of three-quarter inch mdf. No carts that allow you to wheel the MDF around upright to make it easier to load onto the cart and into my truck. At 61 yo, 4x8 sheets of MDF are a bit hard to handle.
Anything you need for home improvement! Seems like plenty of workers, but they are never in the section you need them. Lines are horrid. Self check out at a store like this? Money wasted. When you get an employee available? Kind, courteous, knowledgeable. This lowest would be a 5 star to me, but, 4 self check out locations when you have 20 2x4s? Doesnt work.
They deserve less then 1 star for their customer service. I was in the store for 40 minutes and still never got my answer. Called Home Depot while I was trying to find someone who could help me and got the answer. So I drove to Home Depot to get what I needed. While in the garden center I asked the only employee I could find and she said “I’m a cashier I don’t know” and walked away. When I explained that I just needed someone to help me out she just ignored me. Didn’t even attempt to help find someone or direct me to where I could find someone that could help. Customer service was no help either. Won’t ever return to this store.
After 2 pages and constantly push the help button at the hardware desk still could not get any assistance from employees. Spoke with the manager and the excuse I got was we are short staffed. Customer service in general is becoming non existent. And Im sure why Amazon is doing so good.
I ordered product online to be picked up in-store. Hours later, I never received any word it was ready, no phone or email. So I called the store. The woman was very short on the phone, and I was put on hold. The order wasnt even picked yet, and she said shed get someone on it. Then hung up on me. Her apology? Im sorry, i thought you understood. NOW when my order was finally ready, I went to get it, and found the store horribly understaffed and busy. So, I dont entirely blame her. (Though customer service shouldnt have suffered!) This is pretty common at this location!
I wanted to give a memorial gift to a friend after the passing of her mother, the lady in the garden department was SO kind and helpful. She helped me pick out the perfect houseplant for the occasion. Its beautiful and hopefully will create a lasting, loving memory for the recipient. The sales associates name tag said Paula. Thank you
I have made multiple purchases at this Lowes location having purchased my first home recently. They have good prices on most everything you would need for a home remodel, yard work, appliances, etc.I have had 2 separate issues with products that were taken care of in the best way possible, quickly, with a smile. This is what earned that 5th star for this review, the customer service desk. They are fair, but have both times worked with me to be sure I was satisfied with a solution/replacement in both situations.
I had Keys made and none of them worked, I called and talked to Dan and he was extremely helpful and confident that he can cut another set of keys for me! I like the helpfulness of Lowes employees! I would recommend this store because they staff accordingly and if you need help someone isnt too far away!
Employees in paint and blinds departments were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable... But other workers walk right by you and didnt offer help. Person in Hardware had no clue about hardware... They suggested I Google what I was looking for on my smartphone. I would shop online if I wanted to use my phone in the store.
Hello Lowes people good store there but we have a bad word in Circleville called cash cards they like salmon Brokedown car to good honest hard-working people who would rather have their money well spent at Lowe’s rather than thousands of dollars worth of repairs. But they just bought in the company people who work there they just laugh at you you could call him thousands of times please don’t go in there save yourself the Housel I’ve lost thousands of dollars and two cars and please United States veterans of America my arm or buddies brothers save your hard fault moneyDoes your not gonna be happy just like me I go to war for these guys protect them and then they screw all my buddies God bless America Lowe’s
They had a good deal on a stove but couldnt tell me if it worked, had no delivery or set up on the stove and no return policy if it didnt work. Went to home depo got a stove there. They r delivering it setting it up and taking away the old one and got a return policy to.
A young guy by the name of Malik is hands down the best employee there. He is always helpful and never too busy to help. I have shopped at Lowes for many years as did my parents. I frequent the store for work multiple times a month. He is kind and knowledgeable but not arrogant. Ive had bad customer service experience there and alot of the customer service workers are flat out rude. He experienced the rudeness one day and apologized repeatedly although he didnt cause it. Ive witnessed this young man treat others with the same politeness. He is so professional I even offered him a job but he declined.
Customer service was less than awful! One person working fashion plumbing. She walked around with a customerlookingat bathroom sinks, then lighting, then across the isle to another department of lights? We pushed the customer service needed button and waited some more. A car from another area came to tell us shes with someone else right now, if she doesnt come to help you, Ill be back to help you what? Why not help us now? After waiting for help for 30-45 minutes, we gave up . Walking out we saw the plumbing repairs with the same lady in door knobs. So Lowes, the other customer didnt have a single thing in her hand or a shopping cart! But you lost a $700-$800 sale tonight! And we probably will not be back ! Absolutely ridiculous!
Wow. Literally the MOST unprofessional staff in the flooring department. We came to order carpeting for our new house with my in laws. The two associates had NO knowledge what so ever of how the flooring process worked. The one employee told us he put his two weeks notice in, that he felt the need to tell us this fact. He is also going to law school so....screw customer service. They couldnt find samples, they couldnt figure out how the process works. The manager made every excuse in the book for his employees instead of just saying the employees were wrong. Instead of taking our business and making it right. We both worked in retail and could not believe that such a vital department was being run so horridly. I have a feeling Ill be giving corporate a call to make sure they know how this store is being run. Trust me I dont want anything free from this, I just want people to take their business somewhere else before they get screwed over by these half wits.
Took my grandmother to buy a Christmas tree, as usual at Lowe’s. No one would assist us. We were the only ones there in the pouring rain. I went the young man in a little booth who was playing on his cellphone. Ignoring my gentle knocking on the door, he just stared straight ahead. I walked around to his view, sliding a little window open he asked what I wanted. “I’d like help with a tree”. He said he was the cashier and would have to call for a ‘Christmas Tree Specialist’. PLEASE!!! A title does not make a person smart. I was surprised to see a young girl come to help when there was a big young man that easily could have helped and said as much to her. She informed me that he was a cashier and she was the Christmas Tree Specialist!! (Again with the CTS title) Then she waved us back behind the barriers while she strung our tree. “Only CTS are allowed here!” Stopping to snap a yellow chain, ankle high, with a warning glare like I really was going to jump it to steal her string. So I asked her what the core weight of a Norway Spruce should be when felled? What is the diameter on average of a 5yr old Balsam? (Crickets!!!)I told her I wouldn’t buy anything from that Lowe’s again. She and the cashier were the rudest and snottiest people I’ve met at any Lowe’s.
Cory,in customer service was a big help. After being in contact with 3 different Walmart stores where they were rude(they seemed to care less about wanting to help me find what I was looking for) Cory took the time to help me find and purchase what I wanted. I thought that I could place an order and pay when I picked up the merchandise.(didnt know any better) so, I had to call her back with our credit card #. She always seemed understanding and polite. Thank you Cory for restoring my faith in people. 4 gold stars for you!
Lumber was very disorganized. Area was a mess. However I received GREAT customer service from TWO gentlemen. Thank you. Several employees in front doing nothing. One register open in area, but then a second was opened for a customer that had an account with Lowes . Hmmmm, I guess the rest of us doesnt matter. If competition comes to area, look out Lowes.
Some associates are uninformed. Asked where air condition filters were located in the store. The two young ladies I came across replied, I think we have those. If we do, theyre on aisle 27 (the seasonal aisle). I was not confident in their answer knowing Lowes sells said item (just not the exact location) and decided to ask another associate. This gentleman gave me the correct location of the AC filters and I was able to find them.
I live near this store and would love to give them more business. My wife and I have been there 6 times to purchase carpet and 6 times we have not been able to get help. Now, we just go to Zanesville. The Lowes in Zanesville actually has employees that try to help. Drive the extra 30 minutes and you will save yourself a ton of time.
This is the best place for DIY homeowners if you have plumbing issues. I have been here more than once with plumbing work and Walt, the licensed plumber, has helped me with water lines and gas lines. Great person to troubleshoot a problem with. I highly recommend him and the Heath location.
I hope the Heath Lowe’s manager reads the reviews about this store. Hopefully, while reading these reviews the manager realizes that the positive reviews, while few, are fake and an attempt to cover up the hundreds of awful but true reviews. I had the worst customer service experience just trying to pick up a vanity that I bought online. The employees intentionally ignore the customers and they’re terrible to work with when you get their attention. If you live in licking county, save yourself the misery and go to a different home center. Don’t take just my word for it. Read the reviews.
This store is poorly equipped with personnel to assist with large/heavy landscaping purchases. 1000 lbs of stone each time.Although, they have forklifts, 3 times we have struggled to get assistance. Additionally, the Manager allowed 1 staff person (who was trying very hard to provide customer service) myself and my husband to unload a skid by hand, load a cart..and then she offered to assist with the forklift. She had to put her juice box on the tailgate of our truck.Anthony did an excellent job. Mel is not suited for a managerial position. Additionally, the risk of injury to staff members and customers due to her poor management should be of concern to Lowes.
I was not very happy with the service today at Lowes, everyone I ask for help was not very helpful, I had to get heavy things, while workers just didnt offer to help me,a customer that saw I needed help and was very nice to offer to help me. The lady that check me out was on her phone. This is the second time this happened. I went to Home Depo and they gave me alot better service.
We left a cart full of Christmas decorations, over 300 bucks worth of merchandise, because the manager wanted to argue about sale signs that blatantly said 30% off all ornaments and 20% off all lights. Never had someone speak to me so disrespectfully. They lost a lifelong customer over 40 bucks. Ill shop Home depot from now on.
Dont ever get anything delivered from this place. They were supposed to call a week ago and schedule a time to show up. Instead when I got home the other day there was a note saying sorry we missed you. So I called the store and scheduled something for today. Delivery guy said, Ill be there between 4 and 430. At 533 I call him and ask if he got lost. He said, no we are about 20 minutes away. We are heading there. Now its 6:54. Called the manager and he had no clue. He tried to call the delivery guy several times and couldnt get ahold of him. The manager told me to go feed my kids and that they would deliver it once we got home. Once we got to the restaurant the delivery guy called me and said that they were outside mind you this was 745pm. I told him that we were eating and he would have to wait. I said, if you have a problem with that then talk to the manager Michael. Delivery guy calls back and says that Michael told him he only had to wait 20 minutes. Awe hell no. While my kids and wife were eating I went to lowes and tore the manager Michael a new one. Horrible horrible customer service. The delivery guys and the manager should be fired. Finally got the oven but thats the last time I will ever shop at lowes. They can close like toys r us did as far as Im concerned.
Horrible experience I am having right now...no commuication between me Lowes and 3rd party contractors. They told me 10 days ago that the work will start on 10ㅡ23. I have tried since then to confirm the schedule, but no one calls me back...I mean I called total of 12 times to 2 different personell......guess what? 48 hours before the scheduled they call me that they need to delay the work....Horrible....no communication whatsoever......all they needed was a phone call....
I bought a stove and refrigerator and waited almost 2 weeks for delivery on a Friday. When the drivers showed up they measured my door (standard 36) and stated that could not get the fridge through the door opening without removing the door frame and trim! I asked them could they get it through by removing the door on the fridge and they stated it still wouldnt fit. This was a lie. I looked up the specs on the fridge and the width was 29 and would fit with 5-6 inches to spare. It was Friday and they just didnt want to spend the extra time to do it. I called Lowes to complain and talked to 2 different managers with no resolution. This is POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
Worst experience I have ever received at Lowes. I Waited twenty mins for an associate to come to the hardware dept, so I could have a key a made. Someone was paged twice. Tried to use the key kiosk, but it did not recognize my key. I will not back to this Lowes again.
My wife and I had a cart full of lumber. When we got to the cashier, I ask if I was allowed to us my miltary discount. She said yes, I didnt have a picture id, but I had my dd214.. another cashier named adeena started yelling I couldnt use that.. I tried explaining to her home depot excepted it.. then she told me to go to home depot..so we did.. moral of the story, the lowes in heath stinks. Go to home depot
I think customer service is a thing of the past, its always something when dealing with Lowes. Have flooring ordered that came in Monday , called Tuesday to see when they were going to deliver flooring, was told they would call me back Tuesday never did. Now its Wednesday morning I call them they tell me they tried to call me twice yesterday and left voicemails which is a lie, they didnt. Now theyre supposed to deliver today but they cant give me a time frame. Seems like same problems no matter what Lowes you deal with, where is the customer service that used to exist? Might be time to switch to Home Depot! I have been a loyal Lowes customer for 8 years but I think thats about to end!!!
Customer service department was very unprofessional and rude! while being told from appliance department our fride came in when we arrived customer service told us it was not there!!! When they pulled our fridge out “that magically arrived” they just left it there for us to load ourselves along with our deep freezer! Needless to say we will take our business elsewhere
It was Lowes I was there to purchase a on line article that the information said they had it. Well they didnt do I purchased another like item but at check out I felt like the man who was on the register just didnt like my looks or didnt like that I didnt spend as much as he would have liked.
This Lowes is the worst. It is impossible to find someone to help you and all the employees avoid eye contact or walk the other way when you try to approach them. Nobody will ever ask if you need help here; you will need to seek out someone to help you. I prefer amazon and Home Depot to this terrible store.

2022-06-04Been coming here for many years and this Lowes has always been great. We have bought several large appliances, mowers and home improvement materials and have either been happy or the issue was quickly resolved. I appreciate how helpful the staff have also been. Great store for appliances since you can compare everything online first and then go in store.

2022-06-14Cassandra helped me out big time getting everything squared away I needed. Was super nice, very friendly and took the time to check on 2 products we needed at our shop. She gave me the info where to get them and what store has them in stock. Pretty much went out of her way to help a stranger. We at RCD will continue business there and Ill be sure to tell others to head that way if you want to be treated good and not ignored. Thank you so much Cassandra

2022-04-04For me this was definitely a five star visit. I was in on a Wednesday afternoon picking up some lumber and it seemed like the perfect time as lumber was doing some restock and daily maintenance. A few prices were missing so I had to ask a price or two. Not only was the associate all to happy to help with the price but they asked what I was building and not only helped load but also without being asked made sure each board was straight as a arrow and not cracked. Thats not only a indicator of kindness but the sign of someone who knows what they are doing. Great visit. Went home and the project went off without a hitch!

2022-03-21What can I say? I needed some plumbing parts, they had them. Then it gets interesting. I asked for advice. Told the guy with the big white beard what we were doing. Suggested what we needed and how to do it and he was RIGHT. You dont find that in every store. Wish I could remember his name (Im OLD) but Ill remember his face. Thanks 👍

2022-05-10Randy in hardware was a huge help. One of your managers was super short with not just me hit others. He asked randy where something was I was looking for and randy told me where and even ensured I found it. I lost the card with the scan code to review him. I hope you guys see this and give randy from hardware a shout out.

2022-06-02Purchased a fence install. After I paid, customer service and communication ended. No one would email me back, respond to emails, etc. Corporate was even worse. I called twice a week for months to be told a work order or escalation was put in and I’d hear back only to never hear anything more and to have the next representative or manager tell me they “couldn’t speak for what someone else said or was supposed to do”Awful!!!!The cheaper price wasn’t worth the headache and incorrect install!
