10 cash Airline plus four self checkout and one cashier Line open I spend all the money on all them lines and all that new self checkout equipment for nothing..
Bought an $800.00 deep freeze on Labor Day week end. It was branded as a Kenmore. It failed within 60 days. We lost part of a side of beef along with other frozen foods. Have purchased many appliances over the years at Lowes in Defiance.We purchased the extended warranty @ $99.00 as well. I have spoken with the store manager and spent nearly 2 hrs in the phone with their warranty dept. I have only received lots of passing the buck and advised to call other toll free numbers.We are extremely Disappointed in the Lowes service at this point. I have given up and will no longer shop Lowes. Ive tried to get them to make this right but cannot seem to get anywhere.
This was my go to place when we redid our floor. The have fair prices and military discount. The staff was always helpful. Only downside was the carts for the lumber yard were always full or outside. Went in thinking I need 1 thing but ended up needing more and had to stop, go outside to get a cart, then finish.
I feel at home at my Lowes, and today was very relaxing. With help from a nice young store manager who is new to my home town I quickly had what I came in for. Then i strolled through the outdoor flowers, so relaxing, and look what I followed me home.
Didnt have exactly what I was looking for but able to substitute, check-out was extremely slow:)
Staff was helpful, and we got most of what was on our shopping list. Also found other items to go with what was on our list too

I had a wonderful young man help me today at Lowes in Defiance Ohio. He made my shopping experience in the appliance dept so easy, his knowledge is impeccable. It took a couple hours cause I purchased a refrigerator, range, dishwasher, microwave. I so enjoyed working with him, his name is Darian.

Found what I needed and had some friendly help. Store had a lot of staff on hand, probably for holiday shopping. This was unusual as they run minimum help most of the time.
I went to lowes to get some carbon copy receipts and they didnt sell them but the lady working in the front area told me a store that sold them and gave my dog a dog treat. She was very nice. This is one store without food that you cant take your pet shopping with you!

Travis and his associate this morning went above and beyond. I asked if they could take the plastic off the stone so I could grab some. But then both proceeded to help load it up. Also found sand near by for me. Great customer service.
Went there to get an over the door hanger for a mirror & a filter for my humidifier they didnt have either of them but an associate was very nice and helpful

Friendly service. I had to go to the service desk and take them back to the appliance area to help figure out how a rebate worked for a free ring doorbell. But they were helpful and rang me out to check what the rebate said once it printed out. Not very many people wearing masks. I try to order for curbside pickup most of the time.
Good service today at the paint department. Needed some additional paint & stain for a project. The color base was out of stock (strong sales) so they provided a pricier alternative base at the same $$ as I had before. The cashier was very helpful too in fixing a small issue at checkout . I hope they keep up the customer service going forward.

Just came here to comparison shop an item advertised. Heard recommendations on a trimmer/blower combo and wanted to see if it was available, cost and compare.
Great customer service and very friendly. Handling of my bagged soil could have been better, could have been placed onto the cart more carefully preventing bag rips. Very good helpful service loading into my vehicle.

Friendly staff when can find one, I have been told lowes is largest appliance retailer in US.Would suggest training at this location for difference between voltage, watts and Amp usage, important for consumer to know. Felt sorry for designated staff and lack of education. Did not purchase due to inability to get answers on available inventory.
Rude staff, asked for help and they didnt help. Took them a minute to respond. Avoided eye contact. After getting help after looking everywhere for a item asked them to help me and they said look everywhere but the one place I didnt look. Was there for a hour looking. Honestly never felt so disrespected.

When I stopped by and store to get some treated lumber they only had one of the sizes of wood that I need and the other ones I had to get longer lengths than I wanted.Since they didnt have what I needed for my project and had to get longer ones it costed me almost a hundred dollars more to do my project and I have to get rid of quite a bit of wood scraps also.Im not very happy with them and I might start to go back to Menards even though I think Lowes has better quality of woods to get.
Low inventory, but had what I needed.
Washer and dryer. We did compare prices to other stores. Lowes had the best deal. Always do. Well menards had the same deal but we would have to claim the 11% rebate and wait on the money. Plus they charged for delivery. Unlike Lowes. Super happy customer here.
Visited the Defiance Ohio store today. I had placed and order online for kitchen cabinets several days ago, had picked up part of the order and planed to exchange one of the cabinets, cancel one of the cabinets ordered, pick up the remainder of the order and purchase one more cab. First worker at the customer service desk skipped me for two other customers, next worker was rude, manager left me standing finally the forth worker by the name of Ashley did s great job, listened, resolved the issues at hand in pleasant professional demeaner. That can not be said for Lacey, Paul and Tammey. Overall the exchange was frustrating g and unnecessary.
Veterans dont forget you get 10% off! They dont combine it with other sales anymore. Customer service is good. I have never had an issue with the Defiance store.
Needed to find a specific light bulb and asked for help. A page was made and no one showed up, I waited 10 minutes. They didnt carry the specific brand I was looking for, which is not a problem, but I was unsure of which item was compatible.
Curbside is not happening. Just know that youll have to go in the store anyway. Youll be happier if your expectations are low. The employees stated that the curbside phone line was dropping calls. That may have been, but the fourth time I got transferred to the customer service desk to tell them the phone line wasnt working, they probably should have sent someone out. Curbside pick up means the people dont want to go in. Good thing hubby was in the car, because I would have just kept calling and calling and calling until they sent someone out.
I went to this store August 5, 2021 because the website said masks required for everyone. Workers wore masks but my wife and I were the only guests with masks. Very disappointed!
Miss Tammy with 12 years of service at Lowes behind the return desk seems to absolutely hate seeing anyone walk through that front door. I get that when youre older you care less about what people think but she really needs to stop the attitude! She is the reason Im pulling all my business out of here. Thanks Tammy

They had what I wanted In flooring but no one to be found to help me in store exceptat register. They said they called someonetohelp me after another 15 mins I gave up.. Placed my order online and they dont give option to order item per box only per item. So then I had to figure out how many came in box .

Needed some stuff for projects around the house. Stopped by Lowes and was greeted by helpful staff at each place I paused at. They asked if they could help me find anything and each time they were able to reduce my time searching for what I needed. The only thing I couldnt get was vinyl tape because they dont carry it separately.
STAFF WERE VERY RUDE!! Asked them a simple question , the first associate was helpful as he COULD BE as it wasnt his department, the SECOND STAFF member was RUDE and told us to come back on monday before 1PM.. seeing as it was SATURDAY that sure didnt help! Then he just ignored us and drove off on forklift
I never had a problem before but went and got a grill and never had the worst experience I ever had. Im sorry if I spent alot of money on one that i could get a little help only reason Ill go back if I hafto to or force to go in that store I would understand if it was busy but it wasnt. And when I got it home the igniter didnt work.
Worst experience ever trying to buy a fridge and washer and dryer I simply asked if they priced match and “JULIA “ the employee who was supposedly supposed to help me was very rude about it saying well not really well kinda ugh then just acted like I was bothering her they lost 3k on a buy so I just left and went to HOMEDEPOT
Your staff in the door handle area. None informative on what I needed u fo not carry same screen door hande I need. But they tryed telling me the they showed me would fit. No it wont. Too long we drilled holes to fit the handle we bought a Larson so frutraited with my interactions with the employee ..
I bought plants they had a good variety but are higher in price than Menards

My husband and I have been going to this Lowe’s for several years. We have been changing, remodeling, and adding to our house for 34yrs. Every time we needed paint for any kind of project, Louise has been extremely helpful! She is a paint expert in our opinion. Whenever we arrive for paint, we are so grateful to see her smiling face. She she can help with colors, types of paint, stains, materials needed, etc. We have always said that we don’t know what we’d do if she ever retired! Her knowledge of paints and stains is unbelievable! So, we will continue to go to Lowe’s in Defiance for all our paint and stain needs, and please Louise don’t ever quit! We need you!
I have been to this lowes many times. Its hit and miss when loading heavier materials. I picked up 24 -80lbs bags of concrete a few weeks ago and it was great . The employee brought the pallet right out to my truck and helped me load out . Today a different employee helped us put it all on 2 carts and then in our truck. Not that i mind a work out but moving the same materials 3 times is ridiculous. I guess im not finishing that job today. From now on ill have my wife get material so the dock boys can load it all.
Home improvements. They have lost some really good and helpful people at this location particularly in plumbing and hardware. Good find no help in lumber. So as long as you know what you are looking for its good.
They have good deals on appliances and tools. And if you cant find something at another home Improvement store, theres Lowes.
I was in the Defiance Ohio Lowes Store to buy a washer and dryer. I was helped by Craig (didnt get a last name). He made me feel very comfortable, in answering all questions that I had. I did buy the Whirlpool washer and dryer and he made sure the delivery would be at a time that was convienant for me. Thank you to Craig for the excellent customer service.
I went into Lowes in Defiance Ohio and went went to the electrical department and I was looking at breakers a gentleman approached me and asked what I was looking for which was a breaker he had asked what kind of breaker box I had he said they dont carry anything that cheap mind you I have the breaker in my hand and it says on the box it was for mine he didnt even try to help and went straight to insulting me by saying here go with a Murphy thats the cheapest in quality that might work I never been so upset or insulted who cares if its a square D brand or whatever you never tell a customer there stuff is cheap!! Or try to sell them something that wouldnt even worked if I did buy it..... (wrong connection) he didnt even bend down to look at the box to see if they had the right one! Which I did and I found on my own and showed him they were for that brand indeed instead of saying sorry about that thank you for showing me I get a dirty look and not once did I raise my voice or even change my tone vary unprofessional!
I was in garden center there was no help out there. Loaded my own mulch on cart. Checked out asked for help it never came. A man and his son helped me load mulch.
Giving 1 star is being generous.... I bought a refrigerator from there. Was told delivery wouldnt be for 3 weeks... Ok fine. Was never told a time for delivery. Thats bc they dont call until delivery day to tell you a smaller time frame window. STUPID! People have jobs. Then I actually get the fridge only to find out it was used and the ice and water does not even work. Not once was this mentioned to me. Will not be going back EVER AGAIN!

Lowes is about average home improvement store there prices are kinda high and the staff is somewhat helpful but usually you have to hunt someone down and if youre in a hurry because of a project you might be slowed down , but overall its a good place to look for your building or home needs
Great products but the YOUNG customer service was not knowledgeable on the appliances she was selling. More training needed for there young employees.

Never been to this place more than I have in the past 6 months. My boyfriend & I go here and spend a few hrs each visit. So much to choose from. Prices are responsible.
Was kinda short staffed. Had about a thirty min wait but ended up working out nice being able to unload 40 sheets of plywood straight onto the back of my truck from a forklift.

There are not enough sales people. I waited 20 min to find someone to help in flooring. The only sales girl was helping another person. There was a person ahead of me. But there was 2 people in windows talking about their vacation time. Not the same helpful Lowes.
They give a veteran discount every day, their lumber is of good quality, and their nursery has a great selection.

Where do I begin? The fact that no one calls to set up delivery? The fact that a refrigerator was on backorder TWICE or how not ever delivering on the day they say they will? Their customer service is laughable.Dont go to Lowes. Try C Stephens in Defiance or Menards. They seem to be upfront and honest with their customers.

Took back a security light that had wrong bolts for lens cover. Product 800# is out of service. Its metric threads. Spent 50 minutes of my time to get this fixed and only said sorry . Thought I needed more than that.
Could not get any help in tools. Customer service continues to go down hill. So fed up when I left the store. I used to spend thousands at Lowes. Those days are gone.
Today August 2. at 1:00 pm my wife and I stopped in to look at grass trimmers. A middle age lady ask if I needed help and took us to the trimmers. I liked the Husqvarna and deciding on curve or straight shaft. She tried to get me to look at Troy Bilt , Probably better mark up. I said heres what Ill do I buy the Husqvarna if you throw in a 6.00 strap she said nope cant do it, I ask are you sure she said yup and looked away from me as she walked back to her station. We left drove home and bought a Stihl and got a free strap and fuel It pays to shop local

2022-01-25The team in the store is great, but I will not be back to buy things. I had purchased 2 appliances to be delivered I was given a 12 hour window to be at the property when I called to determine the time window since I had not been called. I was given 15 minutes to be at a property, I asked for more time and they said we cant and left. The manager when I called and informed her didnt seem like she was going to let the higher ups know they have a problem with this company.

2022-01-28My husband and I had a freezer delivered to us from lowes and while leaving they had tried backing out of our driveway and damaged trees and knocked over one of the trees in our yard. they didnt even bother saying anything to us either. very unhappy with them.
