Lowes Home Improvement in other cities:
Yesterday so far I had the most humillated situation in this store, after I Picked some plants inside, I decided to get some from the out area, when I was trying to pass the door, the cashier saw me, in a weird way, so I told her that I need few plant from outside section. Then she asked me to leave the cart inside with my plants . Now to this point she said they asked me to ask sorry.Seriously? This is what Lowes thinks about their customers? Im a plant lover and I know every single location in columbus, I visited in the past months many times Lowes stores, what can u feel in the pressumtion that you going to steal something. Let be honest, u dont need to be very smart to understand their meaning, my reaction was normal, but hold on it gets worse, when I was ready to pay, I had to wait about 15 minutes to override price to a manager, who after 6 times to being called , never showed up ,So I had to take my whole cart to inside the store .and wait again in the long line.I can deal with waiting time, with mistakes, but Im not going to stay silent about stupidity stuff, some many people are jobless in this pandemic time and those who are lucky enough to have one are fools in how to treat customers with respect.
I entered the store looking for a light bulb. Well, I found that and more. They had a great sale on lamps. Also an amazing selection of area rugs. I was lucky to find a wool handmade rug on clearance. Martez the sales specialist in flooring was very helpful. The UPC code was missing and he was able to look it up. Plus he folded the rug so I could take. It was a huge task. Thank you very much, Martez.
LowesA five star rating because each employee I walked past acknowledged my presence.I also found pots for large plants on sale. Though thats not what I was shopping for, I did purchase them. Potting soil the largest bags were available.Today the appliance department; had exactly what I needed at a good price.Perfect experience.
Practically empty today but Ohio State was playing Michigan during my visit...staff was helpful but I wasnt allowed to carry the drill I was buying to the checkout by myself...had to have an employee accompany me for fear I was going to steal it... didnt much care for that store policy.... this was a Columbus store... not the same policy in Lancaster... good price on the drill though....
One star for service. The gentleman that was suppose to help me with a window, Order a window. There was apparently another lady in front of us So he decided to help her first. Which I was completely fine with. He had absolutely very little customer relation/service. He looked at me and said “you don’t have any more shopping to do? Because it will be at least 25 minutes.” I just walked away and left the store. I would have waited had He approach the situation in a different way. But this is Lowe’s Fault fault. I believe these guys are overworked and are understaffed Especially at this store. So the stress level is high how do you expect them to treat the customers good. Lowes please hire the appropriate number of employees so that they can enjoy their job and have good customer service.I’ll probably won’t come back and less I need something that only you sell.
Security guy, between 50 n 60 years, white man with real tight cut, starting to go bald on top, looks like a cop in plain clothes.Drives a blue Honda. He is very rude, saw him grab somebody, accused them of stealing, they had a receipt for the purchase.I felt sorry for them, he embarrassed them and man handle for no reason. This security guy is extremely rude.
This entire experience online and with the Broad street location has been absolutely terrible (with the exception of the customer service representative Jasmine). From the beginning with the online order not even in stock at the store as stated, to no follow-up with anyone from the company to keep us in the loop of why our order never showed up, to the delivery guys (driver named mike & two other gentleman) refusing to take the washer into our home, and leaving it on the side of our house. I will never do business with Lowes again and Im surprised at how the ball dropped at each department with such a reputable company.
Spent 20 minutes looking for a particular item. I got no assistance. I approached a young man who wasnt busy at all, standing at customer service. I told him what I was looking for. He said, if we have it, should be in aisle 28. He went back to doing nothing. He didnt offer to call to findanyone to assist me and basically told me to go look for it. There were few people in the store and yet I could not find any assistance. After another 10 minutes I found the item after looking up its location myself online, no thanks to store personnel.
As of mid may this Lowes seems still slightly understaffed but their selection is pretty good. We went in for some annual plants and their selection was pretty decent and they had a few deals. Overall this is a pretty typical Lowes and the people are a bit more helpful than the home depot off brice rd...
This Lowes curbside service was abysmal. I let them know I was on the way through the app and even after arriving and sending a notification that I was there through the app...I waited for over 15 minutes. I called and nobody would answer curbside. I was the only person outside. The system kept redirecting me to curbside and would ring with no pickup.I then called and got in touch with an operator. I told the office what was going on and she said someone would be right out. I waited over 20 minutes and called again. The person apologized and put me on hold for another 5 and said someone would be right out.I waited more and called a third time and asked to speak with a manager. The person put me on hold for another 5 minutes and came back on the line saying that the order was being taken out now and asked if I still wanted to speak with the manager. I said yes and spoke with a manager a little while later. The manager apologized, said he would bring it out shortly himself and would give me a discount for the hassle. I just wanted to get my items and go...which is why I did curbside.I dont think I will return to this location again.
This is my favorite spotty for when I need my home improvement! Would highly recommend and will return! Some workers are hard to find when you need help tho! So they need to work on assistance with customers and have more workers with knowledge to help. But I will still rate 5 stars because if you need something they probably have it! Facts from a real customer.
Was in and out quickly for batteries and razors. After checking out I noticed I had received two receipts and the lady helping people at the self checkout explained and showed me that my second receipt was for a rebate that I had no idea about. So super helpful and friendly during a stressful day!
I live 5 minutes from here and am remodeling a home. Even though I need to go to the big box store 3 to 4 times a week. This store is so bad it is worth driving 20 minutes to their competitor. Even if you think it’s worth it because it’s more convenient just don’t! You’ll thank me
I have called 5 times looking to see if they had farmhouse sinks in stock. I was disconnected or lost in the transfer 5 times. Needless to say, I will not be purchasing a single thing from this store. If we cannot even handle the phone lines, I am affraid to personally see how operations run in the store.
Terrible example of a store, mostly poor customer service, except the young lady at the pro check out. They have poor stock that is mostly open boxes that have been returned missing parts. They also have an alarming amount of mislabeled boxes like the joist hangars. I have had to return more items here than in my entire career in construction. It has forced me to pay extreme close attention to what I am buying. I prefer the Silver Drive Location. I give 5 stars to the young lady at the pro counter check out lane but no s u are to this Lowes location. Its an embarrassment to the chain! Mostly angry people working there.
Literally all I wanted was 2 light bulbs for curb side pick up. It took me 25 minutes to get there. When I call them Im put on hold for 20 minutes answered, hung up on. Call again, immediately so I have to walk in there and request help in person, defeating the purpose of curbside pick up. Its 2 small light bulbs. I would feel like Im being patient but as I was standing at the crowded dirty pick up desk, theres 4 employees standing and talking about nothing. The other times Ive asked for directions to certain items the directions and the employee just disappears as if to avoid work. Either their understaffed or they need a better vetting process rather than lazy employees that care more about their acrylic nails over their job.You have to go to a Lowes go to a different lowes. The ONLY SAVING GRACE was an employee named Fernando. Everytime Im there hes working and moving a purpose. Bless you Fernando.
We frequent this location often, purely out of convince. I can probably count on one hand the number of times an employee has actually been helpful. Today we went to purchase and schedule installation of a new front door. Found an employee, asked for help. He acted extremely bothered and said, after this customer. So we waited and then he just walked away. Walked away....👍
This Lowes is the worst store in the area. Every time Im here they treat you like they dont care about you. You must be hiring only the most saddest people you can find. Cant count eather. Had 16 boards and asked if there was 16. Cashier said yes and charged me for 15. Too bad Lowes, you loose. I hope you can hire better people.
Note that there is a sign at the human cashier registers reading:IF 3 CUSTOMERS ARE WAITING IN LINE AN ADDITIONAL REGISTER WILL BE OPENED.No other human cashier register was opened!5 customers and counting including Me waiting in line at the only human cashier register open for approximately 10 minutes as the cashier had walked away to hunt for a package locked in a pre-order cage. After waiting a ridiculous amount of time to spend our money in exchange for over priced products a few customers abandoned their shopping carts and left Lowes.I fought the urge to abandon my shopping cart and instead opted to use a dusty unfriendly self service computerized cashier, it wouldnt scan a product so it needed help from a human employee, I waited, done. It wouldnt except my debit card so it needed help from a human employee, I waited again, done.Meanwhile my friend had asked to see the store manager. The manager showed himself about 20 minutes later, words were tossed about, good and bad but no compensation for the customers was offered. My preferred shopping for home improvement products is Manards now. A great place to shop, its clean, well organized and friendly.
I was there at 9 pm due an emergency getting (30) 2x4x8’s , 15 sheets pf plywood and screws. I never really ask for help there but this time i was in a hurry due to the emergency. I asked the front cashier guy if someone could help. He called over the speaker.. saw some people that listened to it and nobody helped .. was loading the items as fast as i could and front cashier guy(young guy) just looked at me yawning... then i get to him and can’t even count..I literally shop at this lowes every single month.. thousands. Lowes.. please hire better people.
I was ran over by wheelchair from a seperate cashier rolling over my left heel and tendion without an apology, cashier was new trying to create 2 service work orders, even putting the wrong name of the equipment vs verser, and she had at least 3 other employees to help her create work orders for 2 weedeaters
During this difficult time, we all need to remember that all of the employees are working for us to make sure we have the items we need (or think we need). They are risking their health for all of us and I appreciate it! Please be kind and patient. If they’re out of something, it’s not the employees’ fault. We are all in this together and it’s just as easy to be nice as it is to be nasty and impatient. They are doing a wonderful service for us and I for one am so appreciative. Keep up the good work, Lowe’s!!!
It would have been a 5-star rating if they had the parts that I needed but no I had to buy two parts to make one part that should have cost one price. Really wish I could give less than 1 star as they just messed up another order due to the incompetence of their workers not knowing how to count so it says there will be items in stock but when you order the items are not actually in stock and managers are of no help whatsoever. I do not recommend, go somewhere else such as Menards or Home Depot.
Staff is somewhat rude, asked for help getting a vanity off shelf, and it was like I was disturbing their little pow wow. Had to wait 30 minutes for them to finish their conversation, prior to them helping me. When asked to speak with a manager to complain, waited another 30 minutes and manager still didnt show up. At the register, asked again for a manager, waited 45 minutes after paying for my vanity, and still no manager.
Went to self check out lane to purchase fencing, the UPC code was visible but scanner wouldnt read it because it was several layers deep rolled into the fence.i ask the worker to help and she replied that I would need to unroll the fence to retrieve the UPC code. This was the second time Ive had a issue that the worker didnt want to help me with .wont be going to this location again.
Honestly I’m a little disappointed. I was told my item would be delivered today on 4-26-2020. It’s 5:50pm and my item still isn’t here. I called the store. Spoke to a girl who wasn’t very helpful and said she was pulling up my order after 15 minutes of silence. Then all of a sudden I got transferred to customer service and they had to send me back to the delivery girl and now after 30 minutes nobody is picking up the phone. Ridiculous. I just spent over $700 and my item isn’t delivered. I loved this store but now I’ll be going elsewhere.
I waited Half an hour To speak to the store manager. There was no manager available all I got was a customer service supervisor. I bought the day before 30 bags of mulch on sale ( same exact bag) and came back the next day because I was short. The lady outside was nice enough to walk all the way to the front because she was not given a phone because she said they were short phones and I had to wait when she came back outside she said that I would be taken care of by Dawn. I assumed that meant all wa good. So I broke my back loading all the mulch up because no one offered to help including the girl outside. Half the bags have mold on them and was only asking for the same price as before. The supervisor was not wearing a face mask correctly . I asked to speak to a manager instead and she said they’re all off on Sunday.I asked to speak to a manager instead and she said they’re all off on Sunday I’ve had a lot of bad experiences with this Lowe’s, but this tops the cake.
There is a wonderful young man that works there named Shakur ( i believe) he worked yesterday and was in the seasonal Christmas area. He was so kind and helpful to not just me but other customers in need of immediate assistance. He communicates very well. Shakur was real busy, but he did not break a sweat and maintained the same customer service for us all even when he was being called on walkie talkie to do something else.He checked the price on items for other customers while helping me look for an item.It was a great experience.
Order was supposed to be available for pickup same day, was delayed 3 days and when I did get confirmation to come pick it up it was only one item. When I got to the store they didnt even know where the item was. I will not shop at this Lowes again. No sanitized carts available and unhelpful employees.
1 STAR TODAY ONLY BECAUSE IT WAS REQUIRED TO POST! 3616 E. Broad St.Service SUCKS!! I had an order placed over the internet on Tuesday, July 21 around 11:30 am. Went to pick it up 24 hrs. later. From the time I walked in it took 1 1/2 hrs. to get my order. 45 min. was waiting to get paint mixed. Only 1 person in front of me, then another person (woman) came up and without regard to me or the other person in front of me proceeded to try to get paint mixed. 😣 😒 😡 😠😠 !!!
I went to give back some products and the woman in charge was very rude with horrible actitud, refused to let me give back mis products to an other employ, I think this ripe of people should make other work at the store that dont involve give bad time to the costumers.
If I could give no stars I would.I called set on holdperson in seasonal could not find product numberI talked to customer service she said had 1in stockShe said I would have to talk to seasonal but he couldn’t even findSo I drove to store went in searching for personelFinally got woman at customer service she said 1 in stock. Showed the seasonal guy what to look forWaited he said she would have to find itThen she came back and said it is online onlyI said you said there was 1 in stock she said no mamI didn’t,I said yes you did she said no I showed him the pictureWhat a waste of my time!!! Not only am I told noBut that I didn’t hear what I heard !!!This isn’t first time I’ve had issues ,They do not knowhow to do their job
The cashier was very friendly and the young lady in the paint dept was very nice and her service was good. The rest of the service in that store was horrible. It took over 30 mins and asking 5 different employees and going to service desk before we could get any help in flooring and they were not busy at all. They have the worst customer service of any store Ive ever experienced. And I ama Contractor. Do not recommend Lowes at all. Home Depot or Menards is 10 times better service
Some good employees here, but many who do not know the proper way to speak to a customer. I have been given attitude by several people at the customer service desk, some of the cashiers, and there were even some problems with employees not being able to find things. But I can forgive that last one. Please understand that you owe each customer who walks in a good experience. They do not have to earn that from you- they are already paying for it.
I had special-ordered an item, but the store couldn’t find when I came to pick it up. Customer service Laveta ( Laveda?) was especially helpful, repeatedly initiated communication with me and continued fill up for 2 days to reach a resolution. My interaction with Brent, another rep, was also very positive. Thank you!
I sent my guys to pick up material and do a phone sell order. They said I had to call in to do the transaction even though I had setup a card in the system that they say is for easier transactions in store. I call and am told nobody is there. So I call my guys back and I hear the guy at the register to try again so I did and couldnt get an answer. By the time I get an answer I give them two different cards and they say that they were being denied. Then I asked if I could just have them use my prepaid lowes card or do I have to be the. The guy said he didnt know what that was. So I asked if he could get somebody who does. He comes back saying anyone who would know has left. Finally after 2 hours paying two guys a total of $72 for their hourly rate I decided screw it and send them to sherwin williams which doesnt sell quarts of eggshell so I end up paying $60 instead of $22. But Sherwin Williams had no problem with my card. So because of lowes incompetence I ended up paying a total of $130 to get material that should have only cost $22 for a job. Costing me all my profits. This is a consistent problem with their store that I do not have at Menards, Home depot, Sherwin Williams, Ace, or any other store I use. I will not be using lowes ever again.
Brandy, I get it. You are working the customer service desk on a Saturday and you dont want to be here. However, you dont have to take your dont give a damn attitude to the extreme and try to pull down me down to your level. I came in with two sliding doors and saw that the return desk was closed. I asked if it would be easier to set my doors down at returns so you didnt have to walk them back after. You didnt answer, but simply pointed at the closed sign and gave me an unpleasant look instead. At the register you were obviously over returns, and when we asked which item wasnt pulling off the card you put your arms in the air and exclaimed, I dont know! How should I know! over and over. I felt like you were talking down to us. We had to be cheery to pull your attitude out of the muck. You were so incredibly rude. You were trying to be rude. The real kicker at the end.... I had to walk those two heavy sliding doors back to customer service after the return. Have a better day Brandy, or stay home.
I would rate zero if I could. I arrived at this location after passing up a home depot and a walmart. I run restaurants and needed some T8 lights and some dual cell 32w soft lights (in bulk). I arrived before their advertised closing hours on 9pm, and was told the store was already closed. The manager was standing outside and I asked if they closed early, and his staff started laughing at me and another Manager I came with. You might increase sales at location of you simply keep the store open for the duration of the posted business hours. Thanks.
Employees or Managers are not trained to know their own policy. I asked about price match Lowes online and they said they dont price match online, saying There must be a clearance, trying to get rid of their stuff. We dont price match online. It was only 5% off... so yeah... clearance. Didnt want to argue, so I just bought and left. The only helpful person was the guy who help me get the items I needed, hence 2 stars.
How you doing. My experience at Lowes. It was real short. I went in to get some plastic for Windows. Their prices are entirely too high. Yeah they have everything you need. You might as well put your hands up when you go in. Because you are getting robbed. Just not at gunpoint. But from a wallet perspective. Theres other places to go. Like Menards. There a little bit cheaper. And a better selection. Sorry Lowes I will not be back.👊
My experiences here are usually positive. Friday, 8/14/2020 There was a tall worker with Lowe’s Pro jacket on. I had a question and waited 3-4 minutes while guy finished conversation with someone he knew; they mentioned exchange of emails. Name was Ken or something similar, about 6’2 3pm, and he yelled to someone else to help me. Didn’t say he was busy, was merely and simply dismissive.
Lady helping (Dawn) was very nice, but took over an hour to get a grill. I dont think this was her department, bit was willing to go out of her way to help. The older gentleman who was in the department, was slow as molasses. A/C is the store was not working so I felt bad for those employees who were working hard.
I ordered 2 shelving units for same day pickup. I kept checking status and order not found. I called for 1.5 hours, trying each department, and finally got someone to answer who put me on hold and after 30 mins I hung up.Later that evening someone called me back and apologized and said it’d be ready in morning. At 3:00 the next afternoon still not picked and finally got someone to answer who said she could send them a message but it takes 24 hrs to hear back. She suggested I call pickup and say I’m coming. The day before they wouldn’t answer but I tried. Someone answered and said it’s not ready! I said please get it ready I’m on way. I got to store and called the number and option 2 like sign says and no one picked up for 3 minutes so I kept trying. Finally got someone who said “ We’ll be right out “ and then they hung up. Finally someone appeared with my shelves. Unbelievable. Not my idea of customer service at all.
Store is very disorganized. The plumbing isle, the gutters isle, wood isle, hardware isle are all in disarray. Parts are not where they belong. Pieces are scaterd about and near impossible to find. Numerous price tags missing. I understand these issues are from customers not putting things back. But the store still needs cleaned up and organized
Its my local Lowes. I love that it is 5 minutes from my house. The staff is friendly. Ive purchased windows, paint, rugs, wood, titanium drill bits, most of my landscaping products and more. The only reason its not 5 stars is that in recent years I feel corporate is not maintaining the store as well as the Easton store forcing me to travel father for my home maintenance needs.
Amazing staff!!!Willing to help and fix any problem that may come up. Outstanding customer service!! I am so glad my family chooses to shop here for all our home needs. We are new homeowners and we had issues with the new progressive program and this Lowes staff went above and beyond to help us.Thank you for such great service!! I would recommend this Lowes to anyone.
Well, two weeks and 2 missed deliveries and 2 broken refrigerators we still don’t have one even though we already paid. They assure us every time that next time will be different. Tonight, the manager wouldn’t give us the time of day and told the customer service she called us. She did not.If I were you, go to Home Depot.
I was able to get what I needed. One staff member offered great customer service and was helpful and friendly. However, at 8:59 a lady literally yelled at me as I walked by the desk that they closing, and when I asked someone where an item was located, he looked at me and kept on walking. Customer service is important to me and I was offended and disappointed with my experience. Ill spend my money elsewhere.
This location only. Not my usual Columbus store , but only one that had the product apparently... quarter round ,pretty common lumber item $69 to deliver , no delivery on date stated in email. Call.... complete confusion. Now itll be delivered 14 days after order placed ?!?!?? Yeah wont make this mistake again
I enjoyed my visit. An employee assisted me to find what I was looking for. She was very kind and knowledgeable about her area. She knew about another area I could find more of the product I was looking for. I have not been in Lowes before this visit and I was very pleased with the store itself so far.
Everything seemed to be pretty organized, and easy to find. I looked around the plumbing section a couple of times before the associate offered to help me, but then he took me right to the item I asked for. Hopefully Ill find out later tonight that he recommended the right item. Ill let you know if not. :)
Horrible Customer Service. Did an exchange for defected merchandise. The product I received in exchange was not the appropriate fit for what I needed. I return the product and was told I would have to be given a Store Credit. Say what...no way, I need my $134.00. The problem was the cashier did not do a True Exchange. Instead of returning it and making me repurchase it, she put it on an in-store credit card and completed the exchange. So looks as if I purchased the card on a in-store credit card. So thats the only option they are giving me. No wonder people always out in the parking lot trying to all there in-store merchandise credit card.
I dont usually do reviews on store locations but this level of customer service was enough to compell me to write this. I was already distraught in that my calls were never answered at another home improvement store. So I call them to find pricing on plywood. After waiting ten minutes for somone to answer a rude store associate picked up. I begin to tell him the exact measurements of the plywood I need. It becomes hard to hear him when he was talking. He asked three questions I got bits and pieces of. Then he said hold on. Then I was put on hold. I waited 10 minutes then hung up as I was in no mood to talk to another associate in the state of anger I was in.
Monica at the service desk was awesome. She helped me open my Lowes account and was also there when it was time for me to check out too. She made sure I got all the discounts I had coming and even gave me an extra 5% off! Thank you Monica, for making my shopping experience so pleasant.
Usually like this place, but your customer service is subpar. We come in and there are concrete bags on a cart with no designation that we are told we cant take since your staff doesnt know why they are there. They are making us wait for a pallet to be drawn down instead. Cool, Ive been waiting twenty minutes for the pallet with no end in sight.Edit: Forget it. 1 star and home depot.
Customer Service? Good luck. How does it take 45 minutes to pick up an online order that was ready 10 hours ago? They seriously need to change their name to Blowes. The last trip caused me to come home and immediately cut up my Blowes credit card. They will be getting no more of my business.
I just purchased a bunch of wood (4x4x10 and 2x4x8) to build a swing set and I cant say enough words of praise from their employee Brent and his CO worker... He helped me from walking into the door and picking the correct wood to takeing it to my car and loading and tying down...
Convenient to where I live. ... but the majority of their employees know little about the department they are in. If you go during the typical buisness day, you may luck out and get one of the experts Better, know what your looking for before hand. Reasonable prices. Initially I was glad Lowes picked up the Craftsman brand, but seeing what they are actually carrying of the brand, I may be looking for a new go-to automotive tool brand.
I havent been to Lowes in a long time and then it was in Pittsburgh. It was entirely a different atmosphere then what I have always experienced at Lowes. Store seemed messy and unorganized. Staff didnt want to be bothered but particular employee I asked help may not have spoke English very well and understand what I was asking but was agitated because I couldnt figure out a different way to ask. Younger staff goofing off as if on a playground. The best part was of experience was checking out when cashier was very friendly and had nice professional demeanor. It may be a different situation if attending during the day. Next trip Ill try Home Depot
Absolutely the worst Lowes in town. The store is a wreck and employees are beyond lazy. Everytime Ive been here its never had a single cart in the store. Employees had the drywall and plywood blocked for over an hour to move some drywall. They refused to help me get the wood I needed since it would take some effort to move what they had blocking what I needed. I left before they were done. Ive never seen people take so long to move anything. It was honestly embarrassing for the employees. Either train them to work a lift or hire people who can. Its not hard
Been on the phone for 49 minutes!!! Thanks Jesse(the guy who answered the phone). Not even one person can help me make an order over the phone. Got transfer over 5 times and not one is competent enough. I wish I can post a picture with the recirw and rating. They hung up after 50 minutes. GEeeeeerreaT customer service. Go somewhere else.
No two Lowes operations are stocked the same way making it hard to find the same item you know EXACTALLY at in another Lowes. You can also detect that the people who make most of the purchases are maybe 2nd string craftsman/repair people as there are not that many homeowners buying to make home repairs. Leaves you feeling like you are an out sides and thinking you would feel more comfortable in another Lowes.
Asked an employee where ratchet sets were. He pointed an said over by the wall. They he asked what kind of ratchet sets. I explained and he said over by the wall again and pointed. We went to the self check out and the cashier said we would have to go to one of the cashiers. We went to one elderly cashier and he was a little slow so went went to the customer service line. We were 2nd in line and when we were first she helped a customer on the other side. Then we had to register our phone number for the military discount. Everything took over 20 minutes for a 10 minute visit.
I tried purchasing a 7pc ratcheting wrench set that I watched an employee put a sale sticker on the item rack with 5 more of the same sets for $15.99. I go to check out after waiting in line for 10 minutes and it rings up double that and Dawn was the person checking us out and had us go back to the rack check the price which said $15.99 and had two more employees verify that. Then we had to wait in line for another 10 minutes just for her to say they can’t do anything. Pretty poor experience for having to wait so long for store error.
If I could give the staff at this Lowes a Negative star rating that would still be too generous. Ive never received such poor customer service and been so disrespected at a store I was providing my business and money to in my entire life. They all need training ASAP. Starting with the employees at the return desk and then next being the managers. I will be going to Menards from now on for all my home improvement and business needs. They have lost a customer for life and I plan on expressing my complete lack of respect for this store to anyone asking for a good home improvement store and then recommending them to Menards!
I absolutely Love this Lowes! I know 9 employees by name and they are so helpful! They go above and beyone to ensure you are happy and well helped. They (Val, Bill, Sering) will smile and politely joke around with you and ask about the project they helped you with. They genuinely care and it makes every trip here GREAT!
Lowes is top-notch for me as they have always been very friendly towards armed forces and helping their community. There have been some Associates that Ive run into that are not as knowledgeable but theres always someone else that you can contact or refer to for technical questions and assistance.Their prices are fair and balance for the most part but it always pays to shop around for the best price and they will match it. I use ShopSavvy app to help leverage the best price yet give Lowes my loyalty and business.
This chain keeps slipping more and more downhill. Even the workers avoid questions by not making eye . When I did catch a specialists attention he told me some made up and untrue bs about using the product. (I researched the item when I got home) so are the going bankrupt or what??
Its one of my favorite places to go for flowers. Im a bargain hunter though and for the most part their mark down area for their plant always disappoint me. The plants in that spot rarely are priced as such. Its obviously not important to them. Theyll just put them there if the plants are on their last leg. Yesterday I found one that was marked down to a dollar with a black marker. Which is better than it normally is, which is nothing. But I could barely see it. So I was checking out with my husband and didnt pay attention to what the cashier was ringing up. And she charged me full price. I dont blame the cashier, because the price was written on with a black marker and was barely visible
On hold for an hour but this was not the only location that had phone issues. Lighting salesperson lied to me and said they didnt have the z wave switches I wanted only to find out two hours later they did. Of course he couldnt look me in the face. Lowes you will be replaced by online shopping....
Depends on the location. Brice Rd. site & staff are wonderful. The East Broad St. site in Reynoldsburg, OH has a great employee like Mr. Alex (who worked in the P.M. on Monday 10-22-18) & then, they have a female that works at the Pick-up counter who is pretty, but rude, impatient and unprofessional. The East Broad St. site in Town & Country Shopping Center needs a bigger inventory of sale items; and more staff. However, one of their employees, Bismarck is great, helpful, enjoyable to talk to and quite professional. The store is usually clean and organized.
The staff wasnt very helpful. They had six Spartan Juniper trees, three of which were completely dead and the other three, that I purchased, had large spots that were dead. They have all their evergreens pushed so close together that they dont have room to get sunlight and grow.
Do not buy appliances here. Terrible customer service and no ownership. Purchased dishwasher with installation and dishwasher came in broken, which was discovered by 3rd party installer (orders should be inspected by store). Second dishwasher ordered and exactly the same thing happened. Again discovered and communicated by 3rd party installer after store did not do inspection. All communication was through the installer - no proactive phone call from Lowes. Its been 2 months, Ive twice needed to arrange installation around work and with help from friends and still no dishwasher. Ive cancelled my order and will be purchasing elsewhere. Come on Lowes - own your mistakes and learn what customer service means.
Since I bought a run-down HUD home which needs everything, I rely heavily on home improvement stores. My best guess is that Lowes braintrust doesnt buy its own products - more of that in a moment.Prices are high. Real high - by a significant margin the price leader among the top three big home improvement stores, but it doesnt stop there. So you need six widgets, and you find five of those widgets in a package with a bunch of other sort-of, not-very related items that youll never need. You wince at the price, and since you need six, you buy *two* of those pricey packages. And thats if Lowes has what most customers need at all. They somehow dont offer many of the most obvious tools and supplies which most homeowners would take for granted that any such supply store would stock. Since you find only three out of the five items on your list, you need to visit Lowes competitors anyway just to get your job done.I come away thinking that Lowes decision makers just dont understand the average homeowner. Lowes is the closest such source for home improvement needs from my residence, but - for the reasons stated - I go miles further to shop elsewhere. They just dont get it, and thats being generous - Ill stop short of suggesting that Lowes first priority is profiteering over customer satisfaction.
The worker that I asked a question to.. he works back in the cash registers back in Lumber... he was really rude another person said that they would get help for me but they never came back... so I basically had to Lug a big old piece of wood the LIE can barely drag up to the cash register and the man that was so rude to me just looked at me like I was stupid really rude people there
Real estate professional here, and Bill in painting is the absolute man. I had a tough issue and project that completely stumped Sherwin Williams. Bill spent 10 solid minutes with me, asking me tons of questions and walking me thru various paint options. I have rarely experienced such fantastic customer service in my career. Thank you, Bill.
They were rude I want to buy a kitchen faucet sink found one for $49 well thats what it was marked in two different spots but it rung up $70 they had to stand in line for 20 minutes they sent someone back that came back said it was $49 in to different spots they had us stand in line for another 20 minutes why she went back to check the price clearly it was Mark 49 dollars for them to not honor it so we just left very rude I just think we were going to come back today conveyor dryer for $700 guess were going to Home Depot
Sharon in appliances helped a brother out. She gets a five star but was on hold for two hours and just decided to show up while still on hold. Store help was meh. Ended up with a floor model of a fridge instead of new even though I bought new. They dropped 10% because of that so Im not too mad. Thanks again Sharon.
Cariz, made me feel like a criminal. Interrogated like a suspected thief. You can tell she has a hard time providing freindly customer service. I simply came to pick up an online order... II guess I shouldnt expect outstanding customer service, just employees who rather be working somewhere else.
FYI Lowes will no longer cut a pieces of wood for you. I asked them to cut an 8 foot board down to a 5 foot board and the people at the lumber register were very rude. When I called back to speak to a manager the woman who answered gave me all kinds of attitude and I had to ask her several times if I could just speak to a manager. This must be a new change because I had this service done a few weeks ago with no grief at all. We have spent a TON of money at this Lowes recently remodeling our house but will be taking our business to another store because this Lowes obviously doesnt value its costumers. If the policy has changed thats one thing but the rudeness of the lumber and reception staff was a deal breaker. Pro Tip: I called Home Depot and they said they would be more than happy to cut the wood I need so I recommend taking your business there!!
If there were a zero, I woulld give them this. I placed a $4100.00 order for kitchen appliances a month ago and have already paid them. I attempted to schedule a delivery time and spoke with three very rude people who informed me that they could NOT give me a four hour window period for delivery as this is against Lowes policy Seriously? I work full time and was not able to take off work for the ENTIRE delivery day. I was paying someone to stay at my home to accept this delivery and Lowes cannot even have the decency to give me a FOUR HOUR WINDOW so I did not have to pay for a full day. I spoke with the manager of the scheduling department and then asked to speak with the store manager. The store manager did not even return my call, simply refunded my money. DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS STORE!!!!!!
I have been in this store on many occasions and its never a good experience. Some of the employees have no knowledge of the Departments that theyre in. And the ones that are standing around do not even have the kindness in their heart to walk you over let alone point you over to the right direction. When I went to the kitchen Department partment the older black man was so negative on anything I need needed. There is such a way to say things. I asked him about countertop covering and before I can finish my sentence he was shaking his head saying no he dont know and when I asked what can I do to cover my counter he says we dont do that here. Not listening to my question eventually he showed me to the countertops halfway walking to the countertops I was so distraught from the previous two employees that I just walked off to find help elsewhere. The only helpful person I found was cutting plastic for a person and when he was finished he apologized for the wait. And showed me to what I needed and suggested another suggestion as if he cared about what I came in for. I wish I got his name but he was a young white man and very helpful. Unfortunately there is not a Lowes in my area and I always hope for the best. I will be back in shortly because Im remodeling my home. I just hope when I go back in its a better experience.
I had a number of unusual moving in projects to accommodate my pets - dog runs, cat walks, etc., as well as several more normal move-in projects like painting and repairs. Every weekend I would speak with a different employee from a different department of the store for that weekends project. They helped me to design and implement all of my projects, coming up with solid ideas to solve my unique problems on the more unusual projects. I am not usually a do-it-yourself person and they explained everything to me from scratch without ever seeming condescending. One weekend that I was there they were running a kids building class; I dont have kids but if I did I would have run home to get them because it looked like the kids were having a lot of fun.
Went to Lowes for the first time in several years. I ask if they had a military discount, and the cashier acknowledged that they did. I showed him i.d. and he begins trying to look me up in their computer. I ask what he was doing, and he said that I had to be registered online with Lowes to use military discount. That frustrated me to no end, no other company makes you jump through hoops just for a military discount. Will not be going to Lowes if I can avoid it. The Home Depot doesnt do that to their customers, I think they will get my business instead.
This is one of the worst Lowes department stores that Ive ever been in we just spent $5,000 in materials in here and couldnt even get help they stood there and watched just do it I tried to get a cart because I cant walk very far and they have no handicap carts and their excuse was that somebody stole them and the manager says is there anything else I can do for you and Id already told him that we couldnt get any help and he just looked at me again and said is there anything else we can do for you so basically go to Brice road even if you have to go clear to georgesville road stay clear of this Lowes department store their contractor people dont want to help nobody helping nobody working and when you do ask for help we had somebody tell us well it could be in Lane 13 14 or 19 and they do not take care of their handicapped people they dont even care about handicapped
Big ole warehouse with limited knowledge employees Yes they may have the item you need but finding it and finding someone to help you is a challenge. I went to Zettlers up the street unfortunately he didnt have the part. I knew how my experience in Lowes would be and dreaded going. I see a guy in plumbing but he directs me to another guy who was making a key. Five minutes later I walk to find someone but had to circle back to him because no one but the first guy was around. I get back he is finishing up to only tell me to go find another guy in the other plumbing section. I go, and see young girls either in high school or fresh out. Now I am exasperated...I KNOW they dont know just by their demeanor. But I see an older man. I ask and hes already telling me the part looks too small and they probably dont carry it anymore....as one of the young girls is asking him where to find xyz for a customer. Anyway we get to my needs and he is searching finally picks a matching part but unsure and you cant open to compare. Despite all this, the part worked and I was able to repair my leaky bathroom faucet. A day at Lowes...sigh
The aisle arent wide enough, when product and pallets on tjhe floor are shoved every where, blocking your shopping experience. Even the associates cant find what your looking for. Major deer in the headlights looks from employees. Unless you have to, look elsewhere for your needs.
Through out the years i have become disapointed with Lowes. When i visit Lowes there is a 50% chance they will not have what i am looking for and when prices are compared to other hardware stores, the prices are usually more expensive. Ecen the customer service is not where it used to be. They still have some people that are great but they have become the minority. Lowes is my last option to go buy because i prefer buy online than to go to Lowes.

2022-02-13I bought a Whirlpool washing machine on a Friday, and it was delivered on a Sunday morning, as promised. My delivery experience was excellent. The two delivery personnel were courteous and efficient, and were very careful in removing the old washer, bringing the new washer to my basement, and connecting the new washer. I could not have asked for a more positive delivery experience. Thanks, Lowes, for a job well done!!

2022-05-12I would give this Lowes negative stars if I could. Absolutely horrendous customer service and an incompetent staff of all present. I ordered a curbside pick up that no one in the store could seem to figure out how to operate in the computer. I recommended within the first 5 minutes to cancel is and charge a different card, which after an hour and about 8 employees looking and saying the same thing, thats what they did. With a screaming child on my hip and my hands full they tried to hand me all of my items when I deliberately ordered curbside because I couldnt carry it. Completely rude and without any apology or concern for the time wasted. There was a line out the door of customers that were treated poorly. If I were the manager I would be utterly embarrassed.

2022-04-30We go to Lowes all the time , we are remodeling. We spent ( on one of our many trips) $900 ,and left carpet there, due to lack of space at the self checkout, I laid the carpet behind the register. Went home & noticed, took my receipt back to the store .. Waited waited waited, finally the clerk returned, to tell me that she could not get another piece of carpet. Unbelievable,,, and I still shop there. Gezzz

Lowes since I was here the last time I bought a lot of stuff and Ive been really really busy and here is some of the stuff that Ive accomplished!!! some of the kitchen... Some of the bathroom... I am so happy with the outcome so far!Went to Lowes today was looking at tile and different tiles and different options of tiles and the prices of tiles and just finally came across the tile I want to get for this kitchen knowing that Im not going to be staying here and but I still wanted to look nice so this is what I came up with its an inexpensive way to make something look nice and still have a little Style..

2022-01-07Ordered a vanity online and i was supposed to pick it up next day at this store. Long story short, my order was picked up by, most likely thieves, working together with somebody from the store. I called them as soon as i received the notification and to this day i cant get my money back so i had to escalate it today to my credit card company. During several calls i requested to speak with the manager and never got any answer or a call back. I even offered myself to go to the store so they can see me and my ID and compare with what they have on file or video recordings. No response back, just we are investigating.

2022-01-24There are issues with my orders EVERY SINGLE TIME I buy something online or in the store. Prices are more expensive than any other store & even higher on their own website than whats posted in the store. Associates dont know how to process refunds for price match guarantees. Im so fed up about issues with Lowes, Id rather drive a little further to visit one of their competitors.

2022-05-25I can never get any help at the paint counter, even if I have another associate page someone. I just went down the street to Sherwin Williams because no one ever came.

2022-05-08Waited at the paint counter for a total of 20 minutes and no one came to help. The service desk paged for help 3 times. Finally went to Home Depot to get the paint and supplies I needed.
