Lowes Home Improvement in other cities:
I’ve been shopping here for a while and never been treated like this by this lady at the register named Kathleen.I picked up my items and decided to throw boxes away. Went to her, asked if I could use the trash, and she started to look at me like I just stole something, replying to me in a mean way, asking me to show my receipt, the items, asking weird questions like seriously? At least be polite and will understand that you just want to make sure I’m not taking anything (why even?).
Weve never filed a complaint of any company. We started a kitchen and bath remodeling in July, 2018 with Lowe’s. Lowe’s required full payment before beginning the project. During the remodeling, there was some work that we cancelled. We sent an email itemizing the cancelled services and materials to the store and requested a refund. The email was sent 23, March 2019 The store manager was very nice and he informed us that Lowe’s would refund us for services not rendered when the project concluded.During the project, when the contractors encountered defective or damaged materials, Lowe’s would reordered them. Each reorder took a few weeks or months to receive it. There were several instances where we received the wrong style, or size, or the product would be damaged upon receipt. This caused the project to be dragged on until the pandemic came in 2020. For the safety of my family, we would not allow contractors to enter our home. The project could not be completed. After we got our Covid vaccinations, we asked Lowe’s to come back to wrap up the remodeling in June, 2021. We resubmitted the receipts to the store for the refund. The current store manager refused to meet, talk, or help us. He told us that the Installation Department will help us. So we contacted Lowe’s customer service and filed a complaint.Lowe’s finally responded, but instead of issuing a simple refund, they want us to sign a “Release Of All Claim” legal document with legal language that we don’t understand. We called them and explained that we are not claiming for any compensation or reimbursement for the job. We simply want a refund of the services and materials not rendered. We don’t feel comfortable signing any legal document. We would accept to sign a simple letter of receipt for the refund that we already submitted back in 2019 by cash or store gift card. They refused. The matter was still not resolved as of now.
Nice clean restrooms. On trips I convince my wife to stop at Lowes. We use the restrooms. I buy a tool. Less calories than a pack of fries. Especially valuable with all the in person dining closed down. I see it as a win-win situation. Oh yeah, I think the Kobolt brand tools they carry are a very good quality for the money.Covid seems to be mostly over, but i will leave the earlier review in case it resurges.I love the pine bark mulch Lowes sells. We have tried several different mulch styles over the years from different places, and my wife and I both like this one from Lowes best.
Abysmal customer service. Employees standing around chatting with each other but not offering assistance to customers. Utilized call for assistance button in the lumber area, an automated voice announced my request several times over the sound system in the store, but after waiting 20 minutes, no one showed up to help. Left the store without purchasing what I came for and went to Home Depot.
The prices are really out of site. Not many people in store so I figure its just a matter of time before these store managers get the message. I know a lot of people that were in the building trade that have found another job so even if they lower the prices they wont be back. A whole new work force will have to be trained and who wants a job that can be controlled by the profits of the lumber companies. It is going to take a lot longer to recover from whats going on. All we can do is wait for the next election and hope for the best. As for me I am retiring from the business all together.
I shopped at this store, having driven from Dayton because the items I needed were not in stock at the local Lowes. My experience was initially met with miscommunication and lack of follow-through on the part of the stores personnel. It was then followed by NO check-out aisle being serviced by an associate. An older woman assisted me in self-checkout, only to have to attempt my transactions on 3 separate registers. That was very disappointing, as she, an experienced employee, had transaction issues ... as such, how would the average civilian fare in these instances? Not well at all! However, I am GRATEFUL that this store had what I needed; for the cashiers help as well as the assistance of Angelique and especially Sébastien, who prepared my purchases safely to travel back home!
Terrible to no service at all. Went to the customer service desk 3 times to try to get help in the plumbing section, after 20 or so minutes some guy came over who clearly didnt want to do his job and help us. Would not go back to this location. But, the customer service guy was nice and the cashier was nice... So I guess there was that.
Went back to get another gallon of paint and the worker told me they gave me the wrong type of paint last time so price matched what I really needed then when that didnt match gave me another gallon on them. More work on my part but got it right and better quality stuff.
I’ve been to several locations in the surrounding area. At this particular location,( highland Avenue), 50% of the staff is highly professional. The other half? the most asinine group of individuals i’ve ever encountered. This makes it very uncomfortable to patronize. Otherwise, the store is well maintained by the “ functional fifty”…. despite the functionally illiterate that it has to carry at its pro desk.
Went in to buy some 2x8s they had the section blocked off. I asked if I could get assistance. The clerk laughed and said not until its not blocked off. I asked when that would be, she laughed again and said we have no ideaWent 4 miles up the road to a home depot. Got everything I needed with out any problem.
Worst customer service you will ever receive! Please add 1 to 3 month onto anything ordered. Absolutely never let them install anything for you. I waited 3 months to get a broken fridge then they said I needed to pay to have it returned that they wouldnt pick it up after I paid to have it delivered.
There was great customer service. I had returned a Christmas tree I had bought last year, the lights didn’t work, after Christmas. I had bought 2 they were a set. There were not any in stock online or in store. So I wanted to buy it back. The girl didn’t know how to resell it. She asked the Manager and he returned it to stock and sold it back to me. The manager saw I was waiting in line to buy it back, so he took me to another register to ring me out.
What a nightmare! I had an issue with the delivery of the refrigerator I purchased. I contacted the location. After 4 tries I finally got customer service to answer the phone. Customer service told me that I need a supervisor to help me. They tried to connect me to a supervisor 6 times and the call was never answered. She finally took my name and number and said one of them would reach out. 15 minutes later, she called back and said that she spoke with 2 members of management and that they will not reach out and for me to call the delivery number. I called the delivery number and they told me it’s an issue at the store and she would try to connect me with a supervisor to resolve the issue. Same thing… she basically told me this is an on going issue and she didn’t really know what to do to help me. I promise you I’ll never spend another dime in a Lowe’s. Get your selves together over there.
Very disappointed. Maybe its this location but Lowes used to employ useful and knowledgeable associates. Im not even close to a home improvement novice but know more than 75% of the staff. They must compensate well for pushing their credit card. I was in to get straight answers about flooring but the majority of the conversation was turned to the option of opening an account. I continued to decline but then was offended when the guy said, you must be waiting on your stimulus check. Really? No, I just make better financial decisions and didnt want to open a store card, regardless of temporary discount. I ended up getting flooring through Lowes bc I liked a particular option that nobody else carried but ordered it online from a different location. Dear Lowes, do better. Not every DIY is broke or wants your card.
Curbside pickup was a joke! checked in on the app but no one came out to my car with my order. Called the store and the rep was so distracted that she struggled to find the order and after waiting 15 minutes I finally received my order. Good news if you need your carts corralled there were 4 employees doing that job.
The customer service experience at this location was pretty amazing. The first Lowes location did not have the quantity of lights we needed, so we bought one online at this location. Typically one has to wait until one receives notification bit that would be inconvenient since we were already out. Therefore, we called this location to see if we could pick it up immediately. They confirmed they had the order (within a couple of minutes of it being placed), and then said they would pull it immediately when I explained our situation. When we arrived about 10 minutes later the light was at the pickup location and ready to go as promised! Then the associate helped us ensure that bulbs required would properly fit in the lights! Great service all the way around!
Had to pick up some drywall anchors to hang a coat rack on the wall. stopped and asked an employee where they were and they direct me straight to the correct aisle where I picked up the ones that I needed. I also window shopped for some tool storage while I was there.I have not really shopped at this Lowes before, the experience on this day was good. Will likely shop there again when I am in the tri-county area.
The store is organized and the employees on the floor are helpful. The girl at the checkout has 0 personality and 0 customer service skills. A good 25% of the customers in the store are not wearing masks and the store does nothing about it. An announcement plays periodically over the intercom about social distancing and hand washing but nothing about masks.
Old man in the pluming department was extremely helpful and nice. I didn’t get his name unfortunately. The cashiers on the other hand were not at all. This is still a good place to get your supplies. The cashiers just need more training in customer services. She was very rude.
I had an online order for curbside pickup. I called the store when I arrived. No one would answer the phone. I went inside and had to wait for available customer service person. She called for someone to meet me at my car with my order. I went to my car and waited some more. I gave up and went back inside. After a few minutes, my order was finally being brought out. No one answering the phone, having to go in the store twice, and waiting over twenty minutes was extremely disappointing.
After having to wait for help im pretty sure the GM came to my rescue. Gave me great advice and was able to get me my washer and dryer that i wanted. I ask Tom (the other associate that was with the GM) if there was any way to get the washer and dryer before the cicadas come!? He said itll be delivered sunday!! I did a happy dance!! Thanks much guys for all your work
I like Lowes a lot but what I dont like is now how they ask you if you want to donate your change to a certain cause. How about this Lowes if I or any customer buys something you just donate automatically whatever you want. Times are tough, just be thankful we shopped at your stores.
I went to Lowes in Colerain and waited a half hour before I walked out and went to Lowes in Tri county . I was waited on within a couple min. And was very happy with the service there. Sorry for Lowes Colerain but they lost a sale of 2.000.00 on a refrigerator. Should have more people working the floor.
Well I got a violation for having tall grass. And I was about to buy a Lawn mower any way. So I went a got a battery powered one. It has a 40 volt battery. It came with the battery and charger. It lasts about 40 minutes exactly what the instructions said it would. So my son came over the next day after work and cut the grass. Now it got the front done and maybe a quater of the back. I would have brought a @exond battery but Im on a budget having just purchased the house. I would recommend it due to a couple of things, first: I have to have it in the house due to the fact that I have no garage ( yes im crying every man needs a garage). Second: you can fold it up and stand it up right. Third: no gas means no gas leaks and nothing spilling on the floor where my grandkids play. You have to keep it clean i did not hose it down just wiped it out (I mean my son did lol). Its really quite also. So if you want one I would recommend it.
Im at Lowe’s as I write this. I came to get mulch in the last day of the sale. While I was checking out I asked a lady how much a wooden pole cost I grabbed one of the poles to see if had a barcode on it. It did not so I grabbed another one again no barcode. So I asked the lady if she could help me find out how much lol she acted like I asked her for a million dollars. So I asked if they were even for sale she relayed they should be. Fatima was the the ladies name she had the worst attitude ever. If you don’t want to be at work quit or call off don’t make take it out on the customer. A young lady named Breanna stepped in and helped out thanks young lady. She’s the reason I gave the one star because she’s the only star at this Lowe’s location.
The 5 stars are for the Assistant Manager Tyler. I’m a first time shopper at Lowe’s. I cancelled my Home Depot order once I learned they donate money to the Trump campaign and re-ordered those items online from Lowe’s instead. My experience with Lowe’s and curbside pickup was not going well to the point I had to go into the store and request a manager and that’s when I met Tyler. Tyler got the job done and fixed any issues immediately. He thanked me and apologized and I felt he genuinely wants to do a good job. Tyler acknowledged the mistakes and told me that they are working out some kinks and he’s doing his best to make the store better for their customers. I can understand that and appreciate that. We are still in a pandemic and most retail workers are trying their best. My experience with Tyler is the reason why I will shop at Lowe’s again in the future.
Was delighted to find a 9ft Christmas tree on sale and immediately ordered it. Received order confirmation and ‘Ready for pickup.’ Went on 2 day business trip and returned to message- no tree. Called this morning and gentleman in customer service said that they did not have my tree. He offered no solution or alternative. There are several issues here-one I would’ve continued to look for a tree on sale had I not thought I had gotten one. Now there are none to be found. Number two-I expected better customer service-this was a mistake on their part so an alternative substitution or solution would have been appreciated. Not even an apology. Extremely disappointed.
I apologize for this belated post:On 9/18/20 ~ noonish, Ed & Michael assisted me with 72” 4-tier Edsal freestanding shelving.A very heavy box. It’s rare to find in-store assistance from selection through purchase to curbside loading at Lowe’s stores.Often public address pages go unanswered or I’m abandoned when passed between Lowe’s associates. I’ve walked away.👍🏾 Ed, Mike thanks again!
My GE dishwasher which is less than 1 year old has been broken for over two months. It is under warranty and we have been given the run around by Lowes and their shoddy third party repair services. Over the last two months we have had no show repair services, cancellations, break from policy, and no support or customer service from Lowes. Im not sure what the point of a warranty is if they do not honor it. I will never purchase appliances from Lowes again. Their customer services is non existent. The third party repair companies they use are awful. Lowes should evaluate those contracts. Once company claimed they came and fixed our washer when they didnt, they lied to my husband, and lied to Lowes for the reimbursement when they provided zero service. We are going into month 3 with no dishwasher and were just told again by Lowes that their repair company Triple A, has cancelled our appointment for tomorrow.Lowes does not value their customers, and does not honor their warranties. Purchase elsewhere.
Tried to order from this Lowe’s online. The site told me Sunday delivery. I got a call that they don’t deliver on Sunday and they rescheduled me for Wednesday between 8 am and 8 pm. Annoying but ok. Then I got a call at 3:00 Wednesday saying they were backed up and they couldn’t slot me in for another 5 days. I waited 45 minutes on hold to get through to someone and was ultimately hung up on. Several other calls and still can’t get through. If they are backed up, I understand, but waiting until mid afternoon on delivery day to tell me that it’ll be another 5 days is unacceptable. And their phone lines might be not as tied up if they weren’t the gang that can’t shoot straight.
Bought a dishwasher from them two weeks ago. Was told the installation would take about a week. Still no call for an appointment. No one answers the phone at the store after an hour straight of calling. Ive now been on hold with corporate for over an hour. Ill be shopping elsewhere from now on.
HORRIBLE customer service. NOBODY actually works there, just try to FIND someone to help you.The only reason Im giving two stars is its the only place you can rent a Big Green Carpet Cleaner which is The BOMB.Otherwise, I wouldnt bother setting foot in the place. Why go here and wander around endlessly searching for help when there are other places with actual STAFF.
Called several times and when someone finally decided to pick up they asked us to hold. I went to say something about it being ok just so long as I didn’t get disconnected and the girl very rudely interrupted me talking over me telling me to “hold please”. You guys need to work on your customer service and learn how to talk to people over the phone. I didn’t call for someone to be rude and give me attitude when I just needed to know if you had some garden items in stock.
I went over to my local lowes today to purchase a stove got an LG that was a special order for 50%off MICHAEL THE AREA MANAGER WAS AMAZING!!! he walked me upfront to checkout personally and just made this experience Exceptional!!! I will return for a Refrigerator in the next few weeks!!!Chris actually found this gem for me personally!!!
We were unable to get the one thing we came for, lumber. After walking around for a LONG time and unable to find a soul to speak to on the floor (saw many but when they saw me coming they seem to always walk away or dissapear), I had to go to customer service and wait for awhile in line. When I FINALLY was able to speak to a live person, I was told the lumber saw was down. This was incredibly frustrating and disappointing and gerneral waste of my time.
Wow, unintended consequences of COVID-19 sanitizing. I was in the tool section and ALL of the exposed surfaces of table saws, miter saws, planers, etc. were all badly corroded; I presume from sanitizing spray! Not to mention the disarray and lack of Dewalt 20V Max XR inventory and not a single manager to be found! Then I walked outside and the portable solar-powered security cameras in the parking lot were intimidating! This supports the comment by a store employee that every tool Lithium battery had to be locked up because of theft. Sadly my favorite local hardware store is really suffering.
Forget about curbside pickup. I waited 40 minutes in the curbside parking spot. I checked in 3 times with the app. I phoned the curbside number twice - they answered and just set the phone on the counter. No one ever responded or brought the order. It was a Saturday and $110 order -- maybe they were too busy.
Ive really been putting this off, posting a bad review, that is. I myself dont do everything perfectly, to be sure. But, heres the situation - over three months ago I ordered cabinet sets for two customers. I was told that theyd arrive in approximately two weeks. A month later, they had come in, but I thought that I probably aught to leave them there a little while longer so they wouldnt get kicked around at the house, since we had had to move along with other things while we waited, and waited for them to arrive. Wrong! When I went to get them, there were several that were damaged, and had to be ordered again - two more weeks, right? Nope when they finally came in, they were likewise damaged. Hmm. Maybe theres a pattern developing here... So I ordered them again, nope, damaged. Then it turns out that one of the cabinets was actually not going to fit in the prescribed spot. I scrambled and tracked down one that would. So this happened for two houses Im working on, not just one! Three months each. Now, Im aware that the covid-19 is happening, but does covid-19 cause brain damage as well? I dont believe that was one of the symptoms. Finally, I had to order two more replacement cabinets at the second house. They came in on Sunday or Monday, not sure which. I picked them up today, or tried to. One was lying face-down, and had a suspicious crease in the cardboard box. Sure enough, it was broken. Ive been very, very forgiving to them all, all through this trying experience, taking into account that people are stressed out, possibly scared, etc. Today I finally had had enough. I asked to speak with a manager and said I want a replacement for this cabinet by Monday, and I want both of these free. He said thats not going to happen, but he could give me the broken one free. No! Ive been purchasing from this Lowes location since the day it opened, spending enormous sums of money here. This just wont do! Put on your bigboy pants guys. Youve got a big snafu in your system, and your customers are paying the price for it! Youre potentially causing my business to fail, because of YOUR failings! I would have been done and payed for both of these projects long ago, if it werent for Lowes losses! Step up and take care of me, Lowes Springdale, Ohio!!!
This was the craziest shopping trip I have ever made. Hour and a half looking for one item I had no knowledge about. I was on the phone, sending photos, to the person I was shopping for. Three different employees at different times helped me. They were very knowledgeable and helpful. They explained the product to me, what different terms meant, but they didnt try to sway my decision or rush me out of the store. The cashier was very friendly.
Ive been shopping at this store for 15+ years only problem I have ever had is returns. Make sure you keep youre receipt. They have great prices and the stores are always organized and things are relatively easy to find. The staff are well trained so most of them can help you find what you are looking for as well as explain how things work. They can also explain how to install or use whatever it is youre buying!
Went to buy a gas grill. Waited in dept for 15 min and went to find a salesperson. Finally an appliance sales lady saw me waving. She paged someone. I told the guy which one I wanted and he went hunting. After 15 more minutes I went and told the appliance lady I would buy one someplace else. She was the Only one who actually helped. My money will go elsewhere. Poor customer service!
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I went to Lowes to pick up kitchen cabinets and a countertop I had purchased a week ago. We patiently waited for over an hour for the equipment to be retrieved. I was extremely excited about the new project so I didnt mind the wait. Once the employees brought the cabinets to the front, without the countertop, I noticed a huge chunk of wood missing from the side of one of the cabinets. The employees had dropped it and damaged it to the point where it started splitting down the side. As I walked over to take a closer look, they employees literally said oh well. There was no apology or options given until I asked to speak to a manager. After paging the manager Brian four times, he looked at the cabinet and offered me $14 off. I declined. He stated he could give me $50 off, something he never offers btw. I asked and asked if I could get a new cabinet as I had already paid full price. He then told me he isnt sure if they had them in stock and didnt know if they could reorder. He never checked to see if they had them in stock and Im not sure why they could not reorder a new one, especially if they damaged the one I had already paid for. I declined the $50 discounted, cracked cabinet and asked for a full refund. It may be just a $800 loss to them but it was a horrible experience for me. Not only did they treat me as if I did not have any options that would work for me but they ruined my first experience with renovating my home. Fortunately, I was able to get the service I was looking for at Menards within 40 minutes.
I love these folks. They usually have the items I need and have a really helpful staff. I love getting my usual discount as well. One final note. A very return friendly policy. I remodeled my kitchen myself and after a year from purchase, they still took back my unneeded items.
Lowes is not getting better, East Kemper Springdale Oh does not have a good customer service, my daughter has been waiting for carpet install 5/5/2021 paid for measurements, 5/14 paid for carpet $2000.00 5/28 still waiting for someone to get back to her about installation date. Never in my days of installing cabinets did we ever lose customer in sea of phone calls.
Other than a lot of items being very difficult to find at times, the service is always great. But I have a great idea for corporate, maybe R&D or the marketing team, to make it easier for people to find what theyre looking for almost immediately. It would be great for the consumer and great for the business. Contact me here and give me an email or number to call and well talk...
Need more help working at customer service, I waited for a while just for an in store pickup on a item that was already wating in the pickup area. They called for someone to help load it and I patiently waited for someone to meet me, I got tired of waiting so I asked the casier if they could get some to help me on my way out and finally got help. Everyone I interacted with was nice but the store seems like it could hire more employees.
Stopped in to purchase 3 items and waited 20 minutes in line. First cashier could not correct the price of a sale item and instructed me to wait for a supervisor. I waited patiently but when I realized no one was coming I went to another cashier. Another 10 minute wait.
Typical big hardware store, just about anything you could need for residential repairs. Not so much for commerical needs. Employees are helpful and offer decent advice. Everything seemed easy to find, but again the employees were helpful so no issues with product location. Prices are competitive.
So much unfamiliar merchandise available, but when employee walked by and stopped to ask this little old lady with a cane if I needed help, he only directed me to the location. I was already standing in that department. I asked for someone who could help with particular features and availability of the product (doors), he again directed me just to look at each one and to read the signs. I guess either he didnt know anything, he was too busy to find someone who did, or he didnt care if I bought anything or not. I left the store and went somewhere else.
I wanted to just submit how nice a gentleman named Michael was to me today, I’m completely not mechanically inclined or good with tools, he didn’t make me feel stupid and we talked about cats...he was so sweet, and he really made things easy. I was in around 6 pm, I just know his name was Michael and he was an older fellow. He deserves to be recognized. ❤️
Had what I wanted, but switching it from pick up to delivery took a long time. On delivery day, it wouldnt fit on the truck, so they said a truck was coming back... after 5 calls of 30 to 40 minutes each a Manager brought it. This was $550 worth of vanity and cabinet that I needed on the date promised, as plumber was coming next business day (scheduled weeks in advance) to install. It worked out, but was very stressful, and would not have been delivered if I had stopped calling.
Went to buy a mini fridge the one I wanted was out of stock they had in a different color same fridge charged me like $40 more for it I had a coupon they refused to honor it or my daughters military discount very unfriendly not at all satisfied with my experience will definitely not recommend this location
This one is right down the street and Ive been here many, many times. I dont usually interact with the workers too much as my purchases are pretty straightforward. However, when I have had to ask a question theyve typically been very willing to point me in the right direction. There was one interaction with the lady at the return desk that Ill mark as a negative. I dont recall her name, but she wasnt terribly friendly, and I felt guilty for returning an item. However, Ill still give five stars for this location overall, as that was one isolated incident.
Shutdown my credit card without notifying me because my credit score dipped below their preferred line 8 months ago!! Since I had just spent 3 hours shopping before finding out the news at the register I sucked it up and went ahead and reapplied for a new card while there in the store. I have good credit yet I was declined. Terri, the head cashier, was fantastic and even thanked me for my military service. She called corporate to assist me, but they simply explained what I said in the first line of this poor review. They werent helpful, even after I explained that my credit is better now than when I initially applied and received the card in the first place. This doesnt make sense and is not how you take care of customers. Another customer lost! Terri (the head cashier) was great though!
Bought a washer and dryer on the 26th. It was scheduled for delivery on the 29th. Got a call they said they couldnt deliver due to a clearance issue with the truck and they couldnt get to my home as the drive way clearance to the parking lot where I live is very narrow. I was told they would deliver the next day. I called today several times because I couldnt get a hold of anyone in delivery. Finally got hold of someone only to be told no it wasnt scheduled for delivery at all. So I scheduled it to be delivered on Friday the 3rd. Hopefully it gets delivered then if not Im going to go to Lowes and get my money back and take my business elsewhere .
Not well done tonight guys. Stopped in to talk about pros and cons on which item I should buy. Had trouble finding someone to answer questions. Then when I did, the first person I talked too tried to find the person from that department. However, another guy came over and said she was on break. Neither of them were willing to help enlighten me. I guess I will try one of the other home improvement stores for this purchase.
Found parts I needed. HOWEVER, this makes 3rd trip in 3 days to this Lowes where checkout cashier failed to clean counter after checking out previous customer. This in spite of posted notice at counter asking for patience while counter was cleaned after each customer.Poor oversight by store management!7/19/20 - Lowes now posts signs outside advising they REQUIRE customers wear face masks/coverings. HOWEVER, they will not (as verified in conversations with front cashier employees) enforce that policy. Many people not wearing masks, putting my, and others, health in jeopardy! If youre not going to put teeth behind what you say, dont bother putting up signs stating a bogus policy!BTW - Menards posts that same policy and stands by it.
This is not the way I wanted to be awaken on my day off. A text from my mother telling me the range I purchased for her as a Christmas gift was not delivered yesterday 1/1/18. I call the store to speak with a manager who wasnt apologetic at all. They claim no one was home for the delivery. My mother is on vacation and lives in a ranch duplex. She was home waiting all day excited about this delivery and you mean to tell me you knocked and no one answered. Here is my issue no one thought to call once they arrived to deliver? Hell Ive gotten better customer service from pizza delivery. Now she has to wait again all day today. I had to call the store why wouldnt they call yesterday to say they tried and no one was there? I guess so long as Lowes has your money they treat customers like they dont matter, no regard for peoples time. No concern what so ever... Epic fail. Im beyond disappointed!!
Only had to walk around for about half an hour before an employee asked me if I needed help.Lumber area was a disaster. Youll spend all day trying to find a decent board that isnt warped or split.Paint counter guy is always nice. Maybe hes huffing; Im not judging. He always does right by me.At checkout, go to the older employees lanes. Theyre sweet and kind and will actually converse. They seem genuinely happy to be out of the house, away from the cats and among other humans.
I must say this poor lady walked around the store with me for like 30 minutes while we looked for dremel versa (32 total) hiding in their store. I was ready to give up several times but she did not waver! She found them after several guys could not! For a non-power tool area person. She rocked!
Very good assistance from John and the staff. I called ahead to locate 12 buckets of silver 300 roof paint. They palletized it and wrapped it, ready to go in 15minutes after I got there, they loaded it up onto the stakebed that I was driving. I was One Happy Customer
I usually like Lowes, but this specific one is in poor shape. Never has what you need and when you ask for help you regret it. Last time I asked for help an associate reeked of alcohol and was flirty and annoying and wouldnt leave me alone. Do not waist your time here.
Customer service at this particular location is obviously on the critical list. The store was not crowded at all and there were staff throughout the isles, but no one ever approached me and my wife and asked us could I help you with something. Sadly, we had to approach multiple store staff for assistance...
This is a big Lowes store. When you walk in, there is usually someone to help... but like all Lowes, they may not give you correct information, or may not know. I wanted a mailbox post, on line told me the aisle and bay. Searched for 10 minutes when an employee told me they mover them to the front. What good is online information if the store changes it.Lowes has nice supplies. The store is terrible.
Went to look at flowers on sale. A young lady blew me off with a I think the clearance flowers are down there. I was not looking for clearance flowers and showed her the ad. Still she walked away. I chased another associate down and she pointed me to the outside flowers. Right church, wrong pew. None of those were marked as advertised. Everyone left. So I made no purchase and left the store. Hate to complain , but...not good ad for store.
I usually find everything I need that one might shop for at Lowes. Customer service is not great but FAR better than Home Depot which is horrible but not close to as good as Menards which is really very good. Ace Do It Best Hardware in Fairfield is OUTSTANDING in customer service far better than them all. At any rate I do the majority of my hardware shopping at Lowes. The quality of their products is very high, they are also now the sole vendor of Craftsman brand tools. They also give 10% off to military and veterans on your total purchase after you register with a valid military ID. How good is that?!
Its you average Lowes. Got all the standard home improvement stuff. Some days sales associate will find you and help out but most are busy. The typical stuff. If you think your gonna need help just hit the service desk at the enterance and they can point you where you need to be.Edit: June 18th 2019 since January this place has been understaffed like you wouldnt believe. To the point where they removed the help button because thats all you would hear. Unless you know EXACTLY what your getting and EXACTLY where it is. Unlikely due to things constantly being moved or just in odd locations. MAP gas took me almost an hour to find my last visit. Also. The self check-out here is a joke. ALWWAYS at least 2 of 4 down. And freezing or waiting in an attendent that is ether too busy or loafing around to notice. Lowes. You have been demoted to 1 star.
We spend thousands of dollars at lows in Springdale Ohio every week came in on a Saturday to do a phone sale and was told that they couldnt do it because I was not on the account and when I when to ring out at the register costomer service was calling the cashier telling them that we were trying to put our stuff on an account that we were not authorized to use and that we pretty much was trying to rob the store. So the hell with this Lowes we will be taking our business elsewhere from now on where we will be treated with respect and good service....
Spent 10-20k per year for the past 4 years on rental rehabs and flips. Suddenly Im made to feel like a criminal when trying to return a $20 item without a receipt even though you keep purchase history attached to a credit card number... Sorry Lowes I think its time we see different people.

I am very upset with the customer service at the check out. I had an item that did not have a bar code. The cashier attempted to look it up but it was not listed. I told her the price but she said she could not use that. Rather than calling for a price check said just said that i cannot purchase the item. I told her that I would take care of it and went back to to take a photo of the tag posted on the shelf. I brought back a photo to have her tell me she could not read the numbers. At this point I said forget it and walked out of the store. I was not happy with myself for allowing her to upset me so I went back in. A different cashier waited on me. To my surprise she did the same thing. I had to go back and take another picture of the bar code before she could cash me out. On my way back to the take another photo, I walked past six Lowes employees that could have helped. I have been a frequent customer of lowes for many years. But that stops today.
The gas is not the cheapest in the area, but normally its only 2 cents higher. And its not as ghetto, and is well lit.The guys that run the place are super nice and make it a point to greet you and get to know you once they realize youre from the area, and will see them ever week or so. The store itself is incredibly clean as well as the bathrooms. They also have a killer beer cave with Hudy :)
Horrible customer service. We could get no help at the paint counter. The answers were flippant. Check out was self serve, and when the item rang in twice, the wore didnt come too fix it. I had to go to another check out. They had no one in the store, and now I know why.
There used to be a guy who made key copies, but the job was taken by a machine. Skynet has become self aware. But theres hope. John conners resistance is fighting for humanity by sending arnold back in time to stop the key machine from taking over. Great store, very helpful staff. 5 stars.
The Wal-Mart of home improvement stores. After spending several thousand dollars here the lack of customer service, long lines, absence of knowledgeable associates, and rude front desk have permanently removed them from my list when shopping for home improvement and remodeling consideration. There are better and more well-ran Lowes stores nearby.
My friend has been trying to get an item corrected for awhile, with this COV. going on its been hard to complete, but the managers have been super trying to get this problem corrected and constantly staying in touch us to let us know whats going on, and when this will be taken care of.
I swear i felt like i was in the twilight zone!!! This is the best lowes ever!! They need to give the rest lessons!! They were helpful and informative!! Didnt have wander around looking for someone. I was actually asked by 3 different lowes folk if i needed any help!! Go Tri County Lowes!

2021-10-28I went for a specific item. Ended up shopping the fun Halloween & Christmas items for ideas. Made a cardinal friend while I was there. A little light in the staffing department (like every other business) but I didnt have a problem finding what I needed.

2022-05-22I luv my Lowes! I get great paint, drip pan covers to make my stove top look like new, ceiling fan upgrades, wood cut for me, beautiful flowers for the garden at a very reasonable price, and so much more. The staff are helpful, too. Great shopping experience!

2022-05-28Would not recommend. Wanted to buy a welder and DeWalt chopsaw. Manager stopped in in parking lot, criticized my driving as a safety issue and was very condescending for someone not in uniform. If thats how you want to be dont be surprised if I take my business elsewhere. Last time the card readers were down so it was cash only, before that a beggar stopped me in the store. The shame of it. Ironically Im OSHA carded and can drive locomotives, while the forklifts at this Lowes look like theyve been in a demo derby. Also saw OSHA violations like blocked electrical panels at the pro desk. The only reason why this is a 2 star review is because a one star would be too obvious.

2022-02-02Right before a major winter storm and I needed to purchase some extra gas cans for my generator just in case, a generator isnt any good without fuel. Everywhere was sold out of 5 gallon cans and they had ample. While I was there I noticed they still had snow shovels and several other supplies one would need in such a situation.

2022-06-30Dont buyCraftsman stuff it is not covered by the original Craftsman guarantee nor is it made as well. If youre going to pay that much for a tool by DeWalt

2022-01-17Im sorry to say my day was very frustrating.I went to Lowes to meet a friend, she wanted me to install a new vanity in her bathroom. She picked out 600.00 dollars of products. I loaded her materials up, delivered them to her home and unloaded with the help from her stepson. We unpacked the vanity and where checking to make sure there was no damage. I looked good but when we went to pull the bottom drawer out it would not slide out. Her husband Chris and I where amazed that Allen and Roth would allow a defective product to be shipped.Called Lowes three times, they hung up the second time. Called Allen and Roth and was told they didnt have a replacement slide they could ship to her. They told Chris to return it, gave him a return number. We returned it, ripped the replacement box open before even rolling it to the front of the store. This vanity looked good, the drawers slid out correctly.Chriss son and I carried the replacement vanity back up the two flights of steps.I will be installing it tomorrow but I spent 4 1/2 hrs today just getting the vanity. Lisa is a very good friend, by the time I finish tomorrow night I will walk away making less than 10 dollars an hour. Maybe I should not of given her a friend price.Maybe I should never go to Lowes again.Maybe never buy a product from Allen and Roth

2021-12-16Customer Service has really gone down at this location. I was purchasing a 42 Tool Chest (top cabinet & bottom rolling cabinet). I had to ask 6 different associates to assist me in finding out how to purchase or where they were located to pick up (due to it being a big ticket item). Each associate just kept passing me off to the next associate. I finally was able to talk to the associate/supervisor in-charge of the merchandise, for which HE responded (not so Customer Service like), they are down at that end of the store, and pointed to the garden center. I also asked him if someone could just help me load up each cabinet onto the flat cart, I had already with me. He told me he cam try to get someone but they were all busy.....REALLY?!, Busy not helping out your customers, to make the sale? I looked at the few boxing they had and of course they didnt have the items in the same color. So I tried to ask the same guy about them having the matching cabinets bit he was definitely trying to avoid me asking him anymore questions. He would walk away after talking with another associate or just left the floor entirely. Could not believe this guy and how he was acting. He definitely was acting as if everyone was bothering him and being an inconvenience to what ever he was doing. So I finally said screw it. Purchased it on the app, got a better price/deal for the pair, just had to pick it up at a different location (about 5 minutes further, from my house). At that particular location, they helped me right as I entered the store, located the items and even helped me load it into my SUV. Put this Lowes location to shame when it came to Customer Service. I will Definitely drive the extra (5) five minutes to the other location from now on.

2022-02-18Absolutely a horrible experience. Sold me an out of stock stove..scheduled delivery and called me the morning of the delivery to tell me it would be over a month to get the stove. Upon trying to get a refund im told 2 weeks before it shows up back on my card. Dont shop here. A huge ripoff of customers.

2021-10-01Do not use their installation services. I tried to warn you. It will be a never ending nightmare. There is not enough room to list all of our complaints on this review.

2021-03-21The indoor plant section was horrible. You can tell that no one is tending to the plants. Theres so many plants thats dying because no one is watering them and its sad. I got this one half price with the hope of bringing it back to life
