Lowes Home Improvement in other cities:
The pro desk team is great and a key part of our team. Using the QSP with the pro desk saves at 10% per purchase and with free delivery. Delivery can be tricky so staying fluid is key to keeping schedules on track. Returning materials is another story as the front of the house is often difficult to qork with and competence levels vary greatly with locating the original purchase so keep the receipt at all costs.
Lowes has what I want 99% of the time. They do need to train their staff more as getting accurate information is really difficult. The web site sucks. But on line ordering is pretty easy. Unlike HD they will let your well behaved pet in store. I really like the Kobalt line. I have no idea why Craftsman is sold here also. Prices are on the average zone. Their Lowes card CAN save you money so apply if you are buying $100s of merchandise.
Waited 4+ months for doors to arrive and be installed, only to inherit even more frustration. The installer showed up late and did more harm than good. He ripped half the wall off from lack of care and left a mess inside my home. Then once I started inspecting everything else the quality of workmanship is horrible. None of the wood is cut to length, caulking is extremely sloppy, the wooden trim at the bottom of the door was broken but still installed.I expected a minor amount of paint/caulk touch up afterwards, but I have a full blown project on my hands now because of how terribly he installed everything. Please help make this right, Lowes.
Lowe’s as a company is great. Usually really good prices and the place is always clean. My rating is so low because the level of customer service at this location needs to be raised. I usually have to walk the entire store to find someone to point me in the right direction and when I do they usually know nothing about the product I’m asking about. Calling the store is worse—I don’t even call anymore because of how long I’ve been on hold at times.Brittany in customer service is a gem. You all should give her a promotion. She actually knows what’s going on.
The WORST customer service Ive received in my life dealing with trying to get new appliances. I had issues with EVERY order from this store including washer/dryer, door installation, dishwasher and now my fridge (which they are still trying to resolve and its into the 4th month. Save yourself a headache and choose a different store for any appliances or anything that requires delivery/installation.
I love Lowes ! The staff here is always amazing and very helpful. I came in today for a specific sized piece of plexiglass the gentleman in the department was very very helpful cut my plexiglass to size for me and kept it at his desk while I continued shopping. The location was very easy to find.
I went through lowes on Harrison Ave for a new kitchen roughly spent about 20k. Everything lowes did was fine and great but when it came to the installation thats a different story.. They use a contractor company named Beta construction incorporated needless to say my kitchen still isnt finished and its been well over a year. The owner of the contractor company is named Fred good luck trying to get this guy on the phone hes a absolute joke Im guessing he already got paid and has no intention on coming back to finish my job. Hell never call you back even once you get his personal number Im very disappointed in Lowes they have lost a good customer I hope they realize this guy is giving them a bad reputation but maybe they dont care either because they are no help either..
Chris in millwork was extremely helpful. After calling several stores and not getting an answer after being transferred several times. I decided to call this location and Chris answered all my questions. I drove out of my way to get to this location and will do so for future purchases.
If you need assistance this isn’t the place. I’ve had an issue with a dishwasher that I bought in store. Although everyone is nice and sounds accommodating it’s just a veil. After repeatable being told my use would be taken care of it only turns into broken promises and then trying to get a hold of someone is impossible. Managers can’t be reached… pushed through multiple menus and only be transferred and then hung up on. Stay away. Home Depot is close and I’ve had good luck there.
Went to Lowes for outside garbage bin today. Place looked a little crowded from parking lot but not really once you get inside. I had to go down most aisles to see everything I may need later. Aisles had plenty of space to navigate around other shoppers and carts. I found the bins(prices have gone up) and even got a universal faucet handle for outside. I used self check out and cashier on way out was nice and said thanks and have a nice day. I will definitely be back again.
They had what I was looking for at an acceptable price. The staff was helpful to help me find what I was looking for. The checkout would not accept cash, so I had to pay with a card for a $3 item. It seems stupid for them to pay the credit card fee for a small amount when I had cash that I would have preferred using.
Margaret in paint was the most helpful person ever. Im headed full steam to get the wrong color and she double checks everything I had been sent to get and noticed my mistake. Saved my living room. She then made sure to tell me how to store the paint for future use. Fantastic
I had to go to Amazon for my needs to be met. I needed to get something to hang a picture with out nails. The sales person was of no help. I went to Amazon and my needs were met. They only had command for 16 lbs. I was able to get a 12 hooks that could handle up to 30 lbs.
Left a purchased item in a cart today, and immediately phoned the store to ask if someone could run out (told the lady exactly where wed left the cart) and grab it and that we were on our way back. Got silence to each request I made until she said she didnt have anyone who could go out to the parking lot (???!) and look for me.I had my receipt, I spend thousands of dollars a year there but they couldnt be bothered to help at all. Atrocious.I work in retail, I know the difficulties, the sometimes ridiculous demands customers can make. This was nothing like that.Terrible customer service. But what more can you expect from these monstrous corporate stores that are designed to leave the customer out of the equation, except at point of purchase.
-The installer did not account for the furniture that was present during the carpet measure. Fine.-Your customer service department puts you on hold for 8 mins and then accidentally disconnects 3x. Fine.-You offer a deal of a free install when you simply include the labor in the cost of pad, which the assistant manager(Brandon) confirmed. Fine.-Brandon says he will have installed sales department call me to setup a time to return the pad, upon which labor charges can be refunded. Of course 3 days later, still no call. Fine.-Mary(store manager) says she got it taken care of. Calls installers, says they will come Monday morning, and she will call immediately to confirm the refund has been completed.Guess what happened on Monday, Nothing. No calls. No pad returned. No refund. Not fine. This store is negligent and incompetent. Avoid at all costs. Below is a photo of the flooring department, as you can see they have some struggles with organization. I had plenty of time to snap a photo after I hit the need help button (which is covered up by an endcap of rugs, a big retail no-no) and waited for 10mins only to have the person who came over, turn off the button and not even ask what I needed. He told me someone would be over soon. Soon was literally another 19mins.
I have been calling the Ridge Location since the week of December 12,2021. They are Rude, wont answer the telephone. Its bad when you call a store and the telephone rings over fifteen times. When I finally reached someone, the Employee tried to make up an excuse as to why they dont answer there phone. They took my money but I cant get Any Service.??
A well organized store to buy building, garden and landscaping supplies as well as kitchen appliances. Clients are expected to self serve but help and guidance by staff is available on demand. Service is not even within and across stores. Independent shoppers will do better to assess and review their needs through internet research and consultations with friends before going to Lowes.
I had an overall good experience with their painting dept, the associate was very pleasant and knew what I was wanting when it came to putting a shot of color in my extra white paint ... That was just awesome so give her props ... 😊😃 So overall good visit, thank you very much paint associate on night shift 6-30-21.
I ordered online for store pickup and that was easy. When I got there, the process to request curbside pickup was easy. The person who answered the phone was very nice and patient while I tried to get my order number off the phone I was talking to him on (next time, I will write it down). When he brought out my order, he was masked, friendly, and efficient. I usually try to shop local, but if I am going to shop a chain, I also want it to exhibit corporate responsibility, which I think Lowes does. Between an easy customer experience, patient and friendly customer service, good prices, and its values as a company, I am a fan.
Sale price on a new stove was a good deal. Had a new CSR, so buying procedure was quick long, but friendly staff and assuming delivery happens as scheduled, will be quick (Just so happens the brand/type I wanted they had in stock in the color I wanted, which is VERY lucky, otherwise I think wed be waiting white a while.)
Employees were very helpful. The gentleman working in the large appliances department was very friendly and offered help with the water filter for our refrigerator. They did not have the light bulbs we were looking for. They did have one pack but the bister pack was already opened and for a $15 light bulb I did not want to chance it.
I love that Lowes is located in my neighborhood. A nice, staff that will help answer your questions. But what I like best is the way I can go online to their site to find what I want before I get to the store. The aisle location online tells me where it is in the store. Brilliant! Saves me a lot of time and aggravation.
This store is an unorganized mess. I have been calling for 38 minutes trying to get transferred somewhere. I keep getting hung up on. If your employees can’t transfer calls correctly, what makes you think they can do anything detailed in the store when it comes to help.
Huge, spread-out selection of goods, purposely hard to find (intended to increase sales of items not needed) with not enough employees to help find whats needed and only two motorized carts for those of us with mobility issues. Most products are grossly overpriced, yet they will match advertised prices from competitors. 🙄
Customer service at this location is poor compared to other Lowes. I was looking in the tool section and not exactly finding what I was looking for. Employees were setting up new displays of tools right beside me. Instead of asking me if I needed help finding anything... the employees ignored me, were loudly gossiping about co-workers and overall made me feel like I was in their way. I found the wrench on my own and left not having a great experience...
Pro desk refusing to check anybody out even though there is 15 people in line with one register open. There was three guys behind the protest sitting there talking laughing and just looking at paperwork acting busy. The lady Amber checking everybody out was doing excellent job but there was just too many customers for one check out to be open. If youre pro I suggest you go to a different lowes
Horrible experience! The cashier charges me for a $200.00 ladder, I was buying 2 cans of spray paint. She said I swiped my card to quick. No one was in front of me, the reader said please insert card. Had to talk to returns, Manger and a call to I T to remove this purchase. It is still not off my card, I do have a return receipt. The Better part of a hour waiting for Lowes to correct there mistake. Stating more than once it was my fault! Willing to bet the cashier let someone walk out with that ladder. Sent to the return counter to wait in line, then still over 30 minutes while they try to figure out thier system. Then they want me to get back in line to retrieve my original items. Walked out, wasted afternoon. Now I need to head out to another store to complete my project. Huge fail Lowes!!
Decent selection of doors on display. However, after waiting 5 months for our door to be delivered and installed, the store had the doorknob holes on the wrong side. So, now we have to wait at least another couple of months for them to fix that error and get it delivered and installed.
We did not enter the store and tried curbside pick for a rug we had special ordered. It was a less than satisfactory experience in that the first time I called no one would pick up the phone so after hearing ringing for over three minutes I hung up and tried again. This time someone answered but put me on hold so after two more minutes I hung up and tried a third time. I finally got a sympathetic ear after she picked up on three rings. She helped me right away and we had someone load the rug in our car after about a six minute wait. This employee saved the day as this would have been a one rating without her.
We recently had a great experience at Lowes. The staff members were helpful in locating items for three separate projects we are completing. At the check out, we were very impressed with Chyna and her positive attitude, professionalism, efficiency and genuine approaches with custmers and co-workers. She has even mastered dealing with difficult people. The type who are like vessels with a hole and can never be satisfied. Yet, she handled several clearly impossible to please individuals, with grace and a smile. Chyna, you will be a success throughout life.Troy and Kim W.
Impressed! I usually go to home depot which is almost across the street. But, I was glad I went to lowes. For one, it is soooo much cleaner than home depot. Two, the prices seemed better on the items I was buying. I had been told that the layer of dust on everything at home Depot was due to the wood saw area. Its just not true. Home depot is just dirty.
Norma, at this location was very confrontational. While most workers at Lowes have a better customer service than Home Depot, Norma was the excepcion. Through my gift card to the garbage and was talking to me like if did not speak English and raising her voice a lot while talking to me.
I gave Lowes five stars because they had excellent customer service when delivering and setting up my new washer and dryer. I was also going to order a less expensive set but the guy in the appliance department listened to my criteria and recommended a better pair for a decent amount.
As a former ASM I’m very disappointed! I just moved to Cincinnati Ohio and needed a washer/dryer set. It was perfect timing to take advantage of the Labor Day promotions, well that’s what I thought.I went in after being here for two days and stood around waiting for help for over an hour. There was only one person to help a hand full of customers. No one came to help when asked and it seemed that no one cared when asking for additional help. I now have to $800 dollars more for the set. Terrible scheduling and very disappointed in Lowes.
I went there to find the cheapest possible power drill and whatever else I needed to hang my Curtains. As soon as I walked into his section, Corey asked me what he could help me with. He listened to exactly what I needed; then, he made suggestions and made sure I had EVERYTHING I needed to ensure a successful first time hanging curtains. He ventured out of his section and was walking me around all parts of the store to get what we needed. Great customer service and him alone makes me want to come back!
Awful! I will never shop here again! From corporate to the store, nobody knows what they are doing. Waited 4 weeks for a gas stove. They delivered without the hoses I purchased. Also waiting on dishwasher but no delivery date. Funny, I received an 18 month promo interest free, but started getting billed prior to even having a delivery date. Not happy and will never shop here again! Complete incompetence. I will say Skylar in Appliances was helpful and seemed to be the ONLY ONE WITH ANY Customer service sense.
I feel horrible because I can not remember this gentlemans name, but if I had to guess I believe it was Richard. My husband and I were looking for supplies for our fence on 8/24 in the evening when we met Richard., and had a graat experience. We started off at Home Depot which was a complete waste of time. We asked three different employees where an item was who all told us that they didnt know, before we got to the fourth employee who stated those are out of stock That was about 20 minutes of us aimlessly walking around for no reason. We then decided to go to Lowes. This store is WAY cleaner then Home Depot which I loved, and the FIRST employee we asked for helped not only told us where the item was, but led us to it. He also took it upon himself to show us what else we would need for our fence, and was very informative and seemed to enjoy helping us. This was my first time In Lowes, and because of this experience I will forever pass Home Depot to bring my business here.
Big shout to Megan R., cutie works in the plants and flowers and really knows her sh**. She helped me with some pesticides for my outdoor area but she let me know her specialty was plant life. She had all the plant facts and helpful suggestions for indoor and outdoor. I’m going back for sure to get plants but mainly will go because I know I’ll receive outstanding service with a smile. Thank you Megan R. plant expert!!!
Destiny at customer service was a huge help today! Yesterday, I purchased a mower online that was mistakenly already sold off (last item of clearance). I came in today and she was able to make things right with some awesome assistance! I’ll be back to make more purchases as a result (was previously a Home Depot shopper).
I have not had a bad experience at Lowes so far. Their selection is very broad, but can be weak in quantity in some instances. I got the Lowes Advantage Card (credit card), which gets you 5% off every purchase immediately, and it has been well worth it. Returns are easy, online order and pickup is super convenient, and the place is always bright and clean. Prices are moderate, a little high for some items.
Standard big box trying to be all things to all people means that they fall short in most things a However. Their selection and price is much better than competitors. And I must say, even though the sales staff is in short supply, when your do get the attention and service of one, they respond helpfully, cheerily and do an excellent job. The store is neat, clean and well organized and Ive had no problems with out of stock items. Definitely worth a shot
We had an excellent experience today! We were on the hunt for some potted plants but had no idea what we needed. We ran into Hannah in the garden department and she absolutley blew us away. She was incredibly knowledgeable and beyond helpful. This Lowes is out of the way for us, but I would make the longer drive back just to be helped by Hannah again, she was that good!
I had such a wonderful experience at Lowe’s when I was looking for landscape suggestions. Patti Nicodemus happened to help me and answered some of my many questions. She gave me several wonderful ideas! My yard has done a 180 degree turn! She was so friendly and helpful! Thank you Patti!!!
I recently had a great customer experience at the Lowes store on Ridge Ave. In Cincinnati. The wonderful employees in their paint department took the time to make sure my needs were met! I cant speak highly enough about Margaret, Myles & Paulina! They addressed every issue I had... competently and professionally! Please, do yourself a tremendous favor and seek out these employees who truly define what customer service should be! Many thanks to Lowes for leading the way with corporate policy and dedication to customer service!
The young man working the paint counter only knew the top of the top paint brand even though I explained thoroughly explained this was going to be used as a sample....then when I inquired about a tintable chalk paint, he clearly advised this was not something he could do but again suggested a furniture paint that he could tintNow this was my first time buying my paint and may also be the last with employees like that
The store itself was typical of your standard lowes building. Everything we laid out in a simple flowing manner. I had a question about a bucket lid, and the associates could not help me. Not that big of a deal, they cant know everything. I do wish there were more associates available to help with questions though.
Ordered some materials through the online ordering, pick up in store.received an email pretty quickly that they were ready for pickup. when I actually went to pick up the materials, there was no one at the pickup desk. I waited about five minutes and then asked at the customer service desk if someone was working the pick up desk today. She replied that the person working the pick up desk was in lumber and had been paged. I waited another 10 minutes and no one showed up. Finally flag down a young man it wasnt quite sure how to help us but did it anyway. It would have been way quicker for me to go in the store put all the items in a shopping cart and checkout myself.
I called the Lowes store on Ridge Avenue, to discuss a refrigerator they had on sale on their website only to be told they dont carry that brand any longer and even though it says they could deliver in 7 days, they could not. When I inquired about another brand he mentioned. The sales person said, I already shut the computer down you can find it on the website. How is that for customer service. I am headed to anywhere else but Lowes for my new refrigerator.
DO NOT GET FLOORING INSTALLATION FROM THIS STORE. Or Lowes in general, for that matter. They are really disorganized and fail to take responsibility for their mistakes. We began a carpet installation project on May 5, 2020, today is July 28, 2020 and the project has yet to be completed and the Lowes project coordinator has no idea what the delay is (or, at least shes not able/willing to explain to me what it is). The floors were measured on May 5, 2020, the installers (who are not Lowes employees but contractors) came to install the carpet on June 16, 2020 (we knew of this delay due to COVID) and they were not given enough carpet to finish the project. There was an issue with the measurement that no one wanted to take accountability for, apparently the stairs and the hallway measurements were not included in the project given to the installers. Lowes dragged their feet for weeks trying to reach a resolution, and here we are 6 weeks later with no resolution. We were told on June 24, 2020 that the carpet was being ordered today. We were told on June 25, 2020 that the carpet was being ordered today. We were asked on June 26, 2020 to schedule an appointment for more measurements. That was done on June 29, 2020. After the measurements, the carpet wasnt ordered until July 15, 2020. What was the delay you ask? They werent sure if we paid for the carpet or not (we had), so instead of reaching out to us to ask, they did nothing. I had to call them repeatedly for updates. I received a call on Sunday, July 19, 2020 saying that the carpet was scheduled to come in to the installers on July 22, 2020 and someone would reach out to schedule the installation at that time. I reached back out to the project coordinator on July 27, 2020 after not hearing anything from the installer, and was told that the carpet had not come in yet. No explanation. This entire process has been a huge headache and hassle, I would not recommend them to anyone. My family has been stepping on tack strips and carpet pads for the past 6 weeks. Theyre not willing to discuss compensation until the project is complete, but at this point Im not entirely sure it ever will be.
The customer service provided by employee Matt was absolutely amazing, great attitude, exceptionally helpful and quite knowledgeable. Im a business owner and have held many management positions over the years starting at the tender age of 22, Ive met and trained hundreds of employees and Matt is the real deal. Great job Matt! (South Lebanon location)
This store just cant seem to get it right. Placed an order online to make it a quick visit? Nope. They no longer have a dedicated pickup desk, so youll have to wait in line behind all the returns, then wait for them to page Melvina who seems to be the only associate thats able to pull your order, then wait for about 25 minutes for your order to appear. Place an order with the Pro desk and assured that everything will be there on the day youre supposed to pick up? Nope. Nobody seems to know anything about your order, and then youll end up pulling everything yourself. Found an item online and it says there are 99 in store? Nope. Sorry, that item arrived damaged so they dont in fact have a single one and replacements should come in sometime in the next 3-300 days. All in all, its your typical Lowes. Avoid and shop local if you have the choice.
Everytime I go there people are super friendly and willing to help me. I never feel like Im bugging people by asking them for help. Also the Lowes generous return policy has saved me many headaches from my own errors such as incorrectly measuring a door frame or purchasing the not quite right tool
Store set up for covid/social distancing hurt my logical brain. It caused a bottleneck in the front main aisle with many people trying to get thru a small area. My husband who never comments on anything like this said this place gave him anxiety and he did not like shopping this location.
Before leaving home, I went online to see if item 1615050 was in stock. According to the website, there were 6 of this product available. I arrived ask for help to locate item because there were none in the location listed on Lowes.com. The associate stated that the inventories are often wrong and didnt offer a raincheck or to call another location to see if were in stock. I leave and go online and it stated that the N.W. Cincinnati store had item 1615050 in stock. I go to the location and their were none there. Ask for help, and associate told me that a similar was the one I was looking for and the only difference was the color. Get to the checkout and it was $40 more expensive than the item I wanted. So after 40 miles of driving for nothing. Di my due diligence to be prepared in a pandemic only to leave my house for naught. I wanted to avoid the crowds and be in and out of the store would the most responsible way to shop. Both stores were packed and check-outs were ungodly long because there were only two cashiers.
This store is wonderful. Very helpful customer service. Employees that know what theyre talking about. The prices are decent, I get a very fast check out and again I love the customer service. They have helped me with so many ideas. I bought carpet for a really decent price just to lay on my basement floor. The gentleman even help me out to my car with it. I bought a new AC unit over the summer last year and ordered it online and it wasnt ready for pick up but they let me get it early. Again a magnificent store dont change 😃
Put something on sale online when its not available at any Lowes in the entire region thanks a lot. Also no registers anymore, three carts worth of items and I have to self checkout and be in everybody elses way because you think you can run a 100,000 square foot store with two self-checkout aisles as the only way to leave
Horribly understaffed!! Nothing new there..The self checkouts are not user friendly AT. ALL!! Waited over 10 minutes for help.. Someone finally came up and took the people behind me!! Are you freaking kidding me?? Wont ever be back!! And by the way, get better self checkouts!!
All things considered, its okay.COVID-19 continues to take a toll on the world economy, and Lowes isnt exempt. This store is showing more and more shortages every week. But that is not what gets me. What gets me is how disorganized the store is in general. The aisles are packed with miscellaneous product and the shelves are generally disorganized.COVID-19 or not, if appears the people there (and not all of them) just dont care about the appearance of the place. That said, they sure dont mind being brash about keeping people safe and in order for our protection.
I’ve been to several locations in the surrounding area. At this particular location,( highland Avenue), 50% of the staff is highly professional. The other half? the most asinine group of individuals i’ve ever encountered. This makes it very uncomfortable to patronize. Otherwise, the store is well maintained by the “ functional fifty”…. despite the functionally daft that they have to carry at their pro desk. helmets for affected staff should be required in this section.
Large hardware store for all your shopping needs. I always find what Im looking, no surprise when youre their for building materials. If youre buying Power Tools go to Home Depot and youll save 30-50% for the same exact tool(s). Its rare for a staff member to greet you or ask if you need help, but they absolutely will if you go up to them.
The absolute worst service... we waited for over 30 minutes in the appliances area and asked three times for someone to ring up a refrigerator for us. Not one person could help us, meanwhile, 10 associates stood at the front of the store doing literally nothing. We ultimately left and gave our $2,000 to someone else. This is not the first time service has been non-existent at this store, but after today, we are officially done with Lowe’s. Don’t waste your time and vote with your dollars.
Looking for some specific soils for my newest plants: a blueberry bush, strawberry plants, a blooming dahlia and succulent string of pearls. Garden employee very helpful, but not sure about some of my questions. I found pretty much what I needed.(I didnt need a 50 lb. bag of peat moss; a 5 lb. would do.) Prices competitive, check out through the Garden Center very quick.
It was terrible. I placed an online order for pickup. Received my notification that my order was ready for pickup. I went inside to pick up line. I stood there for 15 minutes with no one else in line. I was never addressed or even looked at as other people mailed about and the customer service area and even came to the pickup register to make a phone call and then walk away without looking at me.
I thought that surely the poor reviews must be a mistake. They arent. I asked an employee for help and they said they didnt work in that area. She said she would try to find someone. After 10 min and multiple pages for help I left. At least the lady did try to find someone. Checkout was a joke as well. 5 people deep and the only thing open was self checkout. And of course every transaction required the employee to come over and help. Worst Lowes ever. The ones in North Carolina are much better. Dont have any of these problems
Im going to start with the fact that I love Lowes. I often make trips there...to my girlfriends despise...Anyways, we were there for plants and PVC pipes.. This is the part of the story that is saving them from a 1 star...A gentleman was very helpful with finding me a PVC/ the right connections. Wish I could remember his name.. But he was awesome!Now... here is where things go south...There were no checkout lanes open, other than self checkout. This would usually be okay, but we had many plants with yellow stickers (clearance items) that would not scan at their ticketed price. The employee manning the self checkout was entirely aloof. Not paying attention to us, or the other shoppers also having difficulty. We had to call him over multiple times for help. This resulted in a line behind us of about 10 shoppers, waiting for the self scanners. STILL NO LANES WERE OPEN. It realistically took us 15-20minutes to buy 6 plants and some pipe.In other words, if youre in a hurry... dont choose this Lowes
This rating goes out to Pete and another wonderful employee at this location who helped us out. We have always preferred shopping at Lowes over Home Depot, but today reminded us why. With a dead battery in our car, Pete made a special trip out and whipped his personal car around to give us a jump (with his own cables, mind you). Might have been a small part of his day, but it made the rest of our day 100% better. Great customer service!
Very disappointed in this Lowes. Went to get some tile that their website and in store told us was available but they couldnt find it. Waste if a thirty minute drive. Only have it two stars because their customer service was very fast and helpful returning something.
Total mess. Ordered a dishwasher 9 days ago, paid in full. Said would arrive 4, then 3 then 2 then 1 day ago. Today, they called my wife stating was here. I arrived, they said it was already picked up, then said it was canceled, then found it but said it refunded when it was canceled, but they cant provide any docs to show it was refunded and want me to buy again. Currently repressing my inner Karen as I wait for a manager.
Customer service is very helpful that follows the rule of: Customer First.Although items are well distributed including big zised department signs, I needed help finding the right light bulb and two staff members made sure I got what I needed.Garden area prices are a little higher for live plants though. Also, some plants were damaged and did not accept a reduced price for them.
Recently purchased expensive washer & dryer (Over $2K) Sales associate in store was knowledgeable and helpful, but store was understaffed. First delivery took over 2.5 weeks, upon which washer was discovered to be significantly damaged. There was no service for the deliveryman to call, so they simply left, which left me wondering when or if I would see the necessary counterpart to my dryer. Next delivery time frame was inaccurate - you know because they can only deliver during normal working hours - causing me to miss a half day of work. When I called to express my concern over the lack of service, I was met with so....do you not want the washer?
Lowes is agreat place to shop for all your home repair and maintenance needs. They treat you right if there is an issue and in addition you get a 5% discount on everything if you have a credit card. When they have promotions on appliances, you get an added bonus on the purchases. I have bought washers and dryers and electric ranges during these special buys. Very happy with all my experiences with Lowes.
Never experience a wait when checking out and the staff is helpful and kind. Electric department a little anemic but thats only negative thing I’ll say. Somebody left a review saying that Lowe’s checkout was understaffed. I have never, never experienced a wait here. If you want to experience understaffed, stop over at Home Depot; I have always experienced a wait there and have abandoned my cart there out of frustration several times.
I usually love Lowes: the smell of paint and concrete, the feeling of endless possibility, but this one has such bad service that I wont be going back. I ordered a shed for pick up and it took them over an hour to locate it and get it on our truck. Another time all the registers were closed and a mumbling employee oh so slowly had to help me use the self check out to ring up bags of mulch. It was agonizing. The guy in the curtain department is cool.
I was looking for a mailbox post but it was not in the isle that was supposed to. I found Mr. Don T. who works in the Hardware Department asking him for help. He spent quite a long time and very patiently and professionally checked every isle that he could think of and finally found out that it had been misplaced. Also two of his colleagues by the name of Jason and Brandon in the Lumber Department were very helpful. They all definitely deserve being acknowledged and greatly thanked for their effort to help their customers.
WORST SERVICE EVER!! Ordered over 2K of supplies online for delivery on May 23...have yet to receive the items!!! Spent at least 5 hours on the phone since they missed the first scheduled delivery date (5.28). Have been transferred endlessly, lied to (store manager claiming that the delivery would come 6.4 and corporate office representative said “it’s on the flatbed and will come today”-6.6). VERY DIFFICULT to contact the store (just rings and rings). Would leave zero stars if possible. You’d think a large order would result in some sort of contact and follow through, but NOTHING has been done. TERRIBLE all the way around. Every time I get ahold of someone they offer a new lame excuse. This store doesn’t function. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!
Is Lowes man you know what they do. This particular location is ducked off and Im not so sure how long theyll stay in business but I frequent this place at least twice a week and Home Depot as well. I dont have any real loyalty to either establishment however low seems to honor my military discount were Home Depot wants my DD-214 my ID my blood type by license and my first-born just to prove I served in the military. In case I hope they continue to stay in business it is in a convenient location hi guys tackle those Home Improvement projects.
Store refuses to enforce mask requirement. They post a sign outside, but if you show up at a register without one its all good! Cashier told me she was scared for her kids at home. Manager told me people without masks are still customers and would be taken care of without a word about the requirement. They did their duty by posting the sign outside.
At Lowes we just dont care. Its been over a month since we paid for our washer and dryer. Four stated delivery dates later they show up with the wrong ones. They did leave the laundry vanity we also bought... square in the middle of the garage. I cant move it by myself. My wife would typically give me a hand... but she has cancer and now will have to walk outside to the car for her appointments. We bought the washer and dryer so I could wash all the oozing clothes from her surgery. No washer and no dryer. Gave away the old ones. Just more BS about the 5th delivery date. Not holding my breath.
Good luck trying to schedule an appliance delivery with the folks at this store. Received an email from the store that a washer and dryer was to be delivered a few days prior to the delivery date. I called the store about 7 times during regular business hours to schedule a delivery time frame but no one would assist - you get redirected back and forth to reception and a Coldplay song playing as you wait for an understaffed delivery department. Maybe better luck picking up the appliance yourself.- Free Truck Delivery

2022-04-09Really helpful and pleasant staff. Found a couple things I needed. The self checkout was down. Jane got me out the door with a smile and chit chat to make my experience better.

2021-07-26Terrible service and no one running registers. There were 2 self checkout positions open with 11 people in line. I dont know if the prices are worth half an hour in a checkout line that I have to ring my own items out. This isnt the first time Ive seen it at this location which is why I typically go to their Mason Montgomery location.

2022-06-23I have been dealing with this location for almost a month now in trying to receive a delivery for a new refrigerator. I had the worst customer service experience of my life when dealing with whatever individual they had working the phones on 6/23/2022 @9:05am. When we called the first time, this young lady had the worst attitude. She cut my wife off from speaking, basically told her she didn’t know what she was talking about and refused to let us speak to a manager. Now, this is the second time I have dealt with this young lady. The first time, I spoke with the manager about how rude and nasty she was to my wife and myself. We were on the phone for 3 hours waiting to speak with a manager. Someone kept picking up the phone and hanging up. She was uncouth and very disrespectful. We had to call another store in order to get our order situated. I was told by the manager that they would speak with her and have a coaching. I called today to find the same rude and disrespectful young lady on the phone lines. She cut me off, told me I was wrong about my order time, even though I had voicemails to prove it, and then before I was done speaking, hung up the phone with no call back. I will never spend my hard earned money with this store again. You all should be ashamed of yourselves for letting individuals like that handle you customer care concerns.

2022-03-06By far the WORST customer service I have ever received. Went in to get a grill on 3/6 and after a wonderfully helpful associate help us pick what we wanted and gave information on delivery/assembly sent us to customer service to complete the transaction and schedule. From the minute we walked up to customer service it seemed we were a bother and received attitude from all 3 hens working there. Did not get a greeting nor were we asked if we knew what we wanted/had been given the information. I understand being frustrated that another associate did not do their job but as the customer, do not take that out on me. Not only does it make you and the company look bad but you also lose numerous future sales. Check the attitude and maybe learn how to help service customers or go in the back and stock.

2022-06-26Regarding Store #1585 in Norwood on Ridge, I had a very positive experience in their Garden Center yesterday. Even though it was a Saturday and they were busy, Ronnie and Annie went out of their way to get me some mulch and potting soil. Since I have a broken neck due to a car accident, they did all of the cart hauling and lifting so I didnt have to. They are very wonderful associates.

2022-04-12Why is it that customer service always seems to suck at Lowes? The guy there to give me what I purchased online was horrible! He had me go get a toilet MYSELF and the girl at the register looked at me and TURNED AWAY to talk to another employee, TWICE!!1 guy was the saving grace there, he was very willing to load a heavy toilet into the car. He said he was the only guy there to load things, why is that??Lowes has great politics, but terrible customer service. Home Depot has terrible politics and great customer service.

2022-04-07Worst customer service in Cincy. They really go out of their way to garner their reputation as a Lowes that does not care about customer service. I think they train their employees at this location to be as useless as possible so that fewer people come back to this location. The paint staff are helpful, but the rest of the departments are just a disappointment.

2022-06-26My husband left a review about our terrible customer service experience with this Lowes, so after a week of trying to reschedule our delivery and speaking to multiple managers, we finally got a delivery time frame for 9-1 on Sunday and the driver was supposed to call when they were 30 mins to an hour out. The delivery drivers show up at our door at 7:30am in the morning with no call, saying they were told to come early. At this point we are so frustrated with Lowes we of course allowed them to just deliver the refrigerator. The drivers were nice, that’s who the star is far but Lowes will never see another dime of our money
